Good fast service..the checkout can be better..
They will rob you if you don’t take their insurance. They will later add a charge on your account and say you caused a damage to the trunk. Daylight robbery.

As usual, U-Hauls online services are pure garbage, but the people on the ground at least werr kind and helpful. If they do pick up, support will just hang up on you if you have a problem. It does not work for pretty much the entire process, to the point that last time I rented a U-Haul I was stuck driving around downtown Manhattan literally all night. If it werent for the fact that they have the 9-ft van which is a specific size, I would never use U-Haul again. It has to be intentional. Ive been screwed by them so many times. Get your stuff together u-haul.

I made a reservations they told me 24hrs then 3 hrs later they called and said my reservation was only for 4 hours and if I didnt bring it back then itd be a 50 dollar inconvenience charge , disrespectful scammers

Do not rent here.I got charge for damages I did not do on truck, apparently when they parked the truck the damaged it and put it on me...Never liked it here before very sketchy stuff..Go to white plainsThe manager or so called owner does not know what hes doing..

We arrived to pick up the truck we reserved online only to found their system down. It took almost an hour for us to get out of there, but they gave us the truck and charged us when their system was up. The staff was pleasant, and truck in great shape.
The entire staff @ this location was wonderful from start to finish. I had many questions and everyone was helpful / insightful (including cleaning staff.) U-Haul Truck Rental was easy. There is parking directly across the street. The instructions were straightforward and simple. The storage units were easily accessible, clean— and I felt very safe navigating around the premises because of this. I highly recommend coming here for moving truck rentals and storage unit rentals. Worth every penny!!

Hands-down the best u-haul I’ve ever been to and I’ve used many. Ventura the manager is very polite and very helpful. Blair was so knowledgeable I thought she was the manager so are other staff members I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.They are the backbone to help me run my business for my storage and moving needs. I’ll go out of my way to use this location. Thanks guys for all you hard work to provide excellent service.
The customer service and attitude of their staff is horrendous. We rented a large trailer to move out of state. When I arrived that morning to pick up the trailer they has given our trailer to another person. I had spoken with Uhaul twice to confirm the trailer. I was a few minutes late and their attitude was literally Good bye, Uhaul is in high demand and we have nothing else. Please leave. They refused to assist me in ANY capacity.

Great staff; deficient management. I rented a truck here today. When I opened the door I found the cab coated in ash, stinking of stale smoke, with a butt stamped out on the dashboard. Pretty gross. When I went inside and told the guy at the counter what Id found he immediately did everything he could to make it right, including getting his own cleaning supplies out of his car and using them to clean up the cab of the truck.So, great response to rectify a problem that should not have occurred. The response speaks volumes about a coscientious employee whom U-Haul is fortunate to have on the payroll. The problem speaks volumes about failed management that doesnt have effective processes in place to ensure a quality product.

The u - Haul was fine. It was my bill and the lack of the company to verify my return , that was disappointing. Which lead to me being over charged a $103.00 dollars for a 100 miles that I didnt not drive. Check your bill. Only provide a email bill. No paper trail to follow along. They make these things difficult with. their techness!!!!

Very Nice New Location. Not far off exit 15 on I-95 and Main St (Route 1).Plenty of parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. Clean facility, staff was very friendly and helpful.They seem to have an adequate supply of moving supplies, Trucks and Trailers.
Never trust them! Thieves working in there! They stole my stuff from the storage and later tried to fraudulently charge my credit card as well! They sell you lock and keys that they have other keys to access it.
They advertise so much equipment but theyre always out of stock. Every time Ive gone Ive called first and when I get there its, oh I thought we had it.
Mr. Ventura Pacheco is a wonder! Thoughtful, helpful, patient and kind. So happy we decided to use them for our storage and leasing needs. Highly recommend.
The truck wasnt as clean as I would have hoped, it took forever to get customer service, and I paid for insurance but was still charged $150 for a scratch.
Theres almost no reason to rate a uhaul 5 stars. And Im CERTAIN this one has as many problems as they all do. But on the day I was there to pick up and drop off a truck, EVERYTHING was smooth, twice so, umm,... Yeah, like that.

I picked up some boxes for my upcoming move. They didnt have cord to tie them to my car so I had to buy rope. But what they didnt have was the 6 rolls of tape for $10. Not happy about that (something they really should have) but the staff helped me with the prices on renting a truck and they are nice and friendly

This has been one of the worst uhaul experiences I have ever dealt with dealing with this uhaul location. I ordered a ubox to be shipped for a military move and it has been over a month and I have yet to get my things. At first, the location I was moving to in Georgia told me that it was in Maryland, and then after a week realizing that it wasnt, apparently it never left the New Rochelle location. No has been able to help me to determine where my things are and everyone keeps pushing it off to other people. I have been charge thousands of dollars but the services have NOT been rendered. I am at my wits end and have been trying to determine where my things are but no one seems to have an answer for me.
The workers at the desk were professional, the units are clean, and the truck transported our stuff from point A to B. However, the furniture blankets we reserved online were not available.Note, we did have an issue with billing so make sure you do a walk-through of the charges on your bill before you return the key.The issue was resolved but did take a few phone calls.

One of the best uhauls Ive ever been too, staff is friendly and fully knowledgeable with my questions about prices and how the charging system works, note: the women silvia who took care of me was vary nice and helpful as well as the a gentlemen by the name of saul. will defiantly be coming back for storage !!

This is perhaps the worst business in the history of businesses. Talk about making a stressful experience even worse. First off, the first reservation I made for a truck was cancelled for no reason whatsoever. And only after I stopped by on my way home to check on it, THE NIGHT BEFORE MY MOVE. Then they said they didnt have any trucks, because the one I originally booked had been reserved after they canceled it for me. Nobody knows whats heppening at any point, theres no accountability, no professionalism. Why the hell is the manager like 19 years old? Where are there no actual adults working here? Why is it so hard to book a truck? Screw uhaul

2022-06-23Rented trucks here about a dozen times - came here to post a review mostly for the staff, who seem to go out of their way to be helpful and friendly no matter how busy the lot is. Checking a truck out via the app is kind of a pain honestly. If there are only a few people in line, do it at the counter, theyll get you on your way much quicker.

2022-05-25Worst uhaul I probably have ever been to. I rented a trailer from this location and did after hour drop off. When I was renting the trailer the guy informed me to just leave it where I got it from and I’ll be all set. Come to find out I got charged for three days instead of one. I went in to fix the issue and they told me they’ll refund the extra charges, instead they charge me for a extra day now it’s a total of four days I was charged for.

2020-10-04I was serviced with care from Chris, a well knowledgeable young man whose care to make me feel comfortable. Seemed more important than making the sale. The spacious store, had everything under 1 roof. For many different type of moving needs, to meet anyones situation. I rushed from a job, even after being three hours late. My truck still there, Chris waiting with a 😃 smile. Seemed to put everything in perspective to fit my needs. I felt good here. You should know that, in a world 🌎 like today. A small amount of great help, and peaceful communication goes a long way. Thanks u-haul for a rewarding experience to start my moving task. I would not want to ever, do it with out the courteous service I experienced here. The truck was a beautiful ride, well equipped to handle my needs and I am totally grateful to know your welcoming, charming representatives really helped me. William Carver

2022-07-27ALL LIARS ABOUT THE AGREEMENT IN THE UBOX, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. THEY EVEN HANGED UP WHEN I CALLED FOR HELP, BECAUSE THEY DAMAGE OUR BOX, LIED ABOUT WE RECEIVING IT IN 2 WEEKS TIME. IT WAS A MONTH AND A HALF BEFORE RECEIVING ANYTHING. THERE WAS NO DISCOUNT, AS AGREED

2022-01-27I was so anxious about my move because moving somewhere new is extremely scary. But one of the things that went well was the renting of the uHaul Truck, the General Manager Ventura Pacheco was extremely helpful and patient with me through all my questions. Im so happy with the service that Ive been recommending this store to every one of my friends !

2021-11-12Had a decent experience here today after renting a small truck! I choose digital checkin, which requires the app; however, I still had to go pick up the keys from someone in person.I was honestly a bit shocked that one of the staff members had wrongly parked in a handicap spot which then blocked the truck we were renting because he “couldn’t find parking”.Otherwise the experience was easy to checkin and get going. The indoor area has plenty of boxes and equipment for rent in case you didn’t preorder it online.
