I moved from New York to Texas and used UPack. The service was excellent. Our pickup driver, Anthony, from New York was amazing. Very professional and courteous. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Their customer service at the call center was always very helpful and polite, as well as the drop off driver, Maurice. I would recommend UPack to anyone. Awesome experience. They my made move so much easier and cost efficient.
I recently moved to Florida from New York. U-Pack delivered the container to the NY address and picked it up within a few hours. Pickup was at 3:30 PM on a Thursday. I was informed that delivery would take 5 to 7 business days. On Monday morning while still on the road I was informed that the container was in the Tampa facility all ready for Tuesday drop off. Two business days. I requested to hold for Wednesday and had the U-Pack pod in front of the house by 9:00 AM.This was the single best no hassle experience of the whole relocation ordeal. The staff was nothing but professional on both sides of the move. It was a pleasure to deal with this company. No items were damaged or tossed about. I would definitely recommend this alternative to driving a payload to any destination.
Moved from Brooklyn, NY to Nashville, TN and U-Pack had the best price and shockingly great customer service. I had to call multiple times to update my loading date and each person I talked to was so nice and helpful. They helped me come up with different options when we ran into roadblocks loading the trailer in Brooklyn. I loaded the trailer late at night on a Monday and they sent it out that night. By the next morning, I had tracked it to Pittsburg. I paid to guarantee my things would be ready for me to pick up on Friday and they called Thursday to let me know they had arrived. Everything went very smoothly. I would absolutely use U-Pack again.
During the span of planning for and executing my move, I must have spoken to 8 different UPack employees. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Communication was A+ and it made my move that much easier. I will be using UPack again!
I had a very seamless move from Brooklyn, NY to Montreal, Quebec. They answered all my questions regarding the move, even about hidden fees (which there were none). My bill came to exactly what I thought it would. I was only charged for the space used and for the customs papers going across the border. Pickup and drop off were on time. Im a young female and was moving by myself. The driver even helped me unpack my belongings even though they are not expected to help you. Great service I would use them again.
My move from Brooklyn to Georgia was extremely smooth because of U-Pack. The cost was unbelievelably low. I was updated periodically, and the drivers were there at the time scheduled.I would definitely recommend U-Pack as one of, if not the most inexpensive, professional movers.
Used Upacks ReloCube for a NY to TN terminal-to-terminal relocation and storage at a more-than-reasonable fee. I cant recommend them highly enough. Every person, (at both terminals), that we dealt with was patient, courteous and very helpful. Our stuff arrived in our new state intact, nothing was out of place or damaged. The whole process was easy and took a lot of the stress off a long-distance move.If we ever end up relocating again, Upack is the first place Ill call.
The only good part of my move was U-Pack! They were half as expensive as the other movers, on time, helpful and easy to deal with at every juncture.I highly recommend this company.
UPack provided a quality moving experiece. On time delivery of Pods in Yonkers NY and on time delivery to Tampa storage destination and subsequent transfer of Pods to a Public Storage facility by ABF in my locality. I wojld recommend getting their price quote

This company is awesome. Depending on traffic regulations where youre moving from and to, they will leave their truck for 3 days to load and unload.
Spoke to the delivery company yesterday and gave them all the information. Told them it is a retail store that is currently under construction with huge windows with coming soon signs in the windows. The delivery was supposed to be from 12noon to 3pm today. At 3:30 I called to ask where the delivery was. They told me the driver could not find the space. I asked them if they bothered to tell the driver the information I gave them the day before. They became belligerent and hung up on me. I called back and they put me on hold then hung up again. Finally got ahold of a dispatcher who said that he was confused and didnt undertand. This has got to be the absolute worst delivery experience I have ever encountered.

This is a great way to move, especially for a long distance move. It was much cheaper than hiring movers, our things got there right away and we felt secure that our things would arrive safely knowing that there is no unloading and reloading.
I could not have asked for a better shipping process. Everyone I was in contact with were very professional and my items got to their destination before the actual delivery date which was a plus. Will always ship with them.

2021-01-15After researching several companies for my out of state move, I chose U-pack and I am so happy I did. I used their relo-cube service and they were cheaper than their competitors even with me purchasing the guaranteed service! My cube was delivered for loading at the time that was promised and also arrived on time at my destination. Everything arrived intact aside from a couple of cracked plastic bins( the recording when you call customer service advises against using plastic bins but I only paid attention to it after my relo-cube was packed and ready to go :( so that was on me. The contents of the bins were fine though, so losing a couple of $10 bins was no biggie to me) I also enjoyed being able to follow my cube during its journey across the country. I guess it gave me a sense of security. Customer service was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as well as both the delivery guys at my departure and arrival states! Will definitely use this company again and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. Finding a moving company was an added stress on top of the move itself but I am so happy that I decided to go with this company as they did not disappoint! Keep up the great work U-Pack!

2020-11-17Having made two cross-country moves in a 3.5 year period, I can say with certainty that U-Pack is the way to go. The first time, we used Bekins and although the NYC coordination and moving teams were great, the movers who handled the unload in Seattle were awful (lazy, slow, unskilled).For the move back to NYC, I first checked with PODS which was much more expensive than U-Pack and did not have the trailer option. When I contacted U-Pack, they asked specific questions about contents and suggested a trailer instead of pods, and it worked out perfectly! And with this option (as well as with the container, I presume), your belongings are moved/transferred fewer times than with a much bigger moving company. You see everything and how its all handled, which is paramount when making long-distance moves. I had to set up movers on both sides for the transfer from trailer to truck and then loading & unloading, but that part is easy. The staff at both ABF Freight locations were helpful, I was able to track my trailer of belongings from the time we loaded them onto the trailer, it arrived 4-5 days ahead of schedule, and ABF Freight worked with me so that we didnt have to try and reschedule our movers for the unload. And to boot, the estimate was very close at only $177 more.

2021-01-13I like U-pack for the most part. We used their relo-cubes for moving. It was nice that they charge only for the cube you use rather than the cubes you order. Customer service is good but there is definitely room for improvement. The relo-cube was delivered fine. But the pickup was delayed by a day which was a problem for us because we didnt want our stuff sitting in the street for one more day. Once the cube was picked up we didnt receive any information about the status or tracking number. We had to call several times to make sure it is picked up and then get the tracking number which wasnt smooth. On the delivery day, they said I had to pay extra if I want to fixate an exact time for delivery of the stuff (150$)!! This was unpleasant because when I was booking they didnt tell me about this fee ! Which was misleading!The interesting part is that I had ordered moving helpers from U pack too. Not only I had to arrange the arrival time of the helpers myself (even though they were from Upack) but also I needed to pay extra to fix a time for delivery so I can arrange with the helpers accordingly. So anyway overall I was satisfied because of the price and service but as I said there is a lot of room for improvement.

2018-04-20Overall a good experience. Trailer arrived (both when loading and then unloading) within the specified hour window. Drivers on both days were professional and courteous. The driver on the day I loaded even assisted us with some of the more awkwardly large and heavy items.For the price, hard to beat. Didnt have to drive a moving truck myself and deal with all that would have entailed (gas, tolls, parking). And no professional moving company was able to guarantee and day and time for delivery like U-pack did.However, what you should consider before signing up:No insurance through U-pack; I advise confirming your home/renters insurance will cover your move.The freight U-pack loads in front of yours may be dirty/dusty; there was a perceptible layer of dirt across all of my items.Be sure to protect the bottom of your items; my trailer traveled from NYC to San Antonio, and the resulting vibrations destroyed the casters on the bottom of a refrigerator.

2017-02-09U-Pack was great. I didnt end up using them because I went with a furnished place. But I appreciated the quote - less than half a full-service mover even for a Canada to US move, how easy they made it, that I could cancel via email. I had a charge by Moving Staffers (the labor company they can connect you with), but Moving Staffers was apologetic and issued an immediate refund as soon as I made them aware. That counts a lot in my books.

2018-11-16Very reasonable fee for a cross country move from Brooklyn to Oakland. I did terminal to terminal and was able to save even more money. I was given a few extra days to unload my cube on the other side without being charged a storage fee. And even if you cant unload right away, the storage fee is reasonable as well. I highly recommend U-Pack!!!

2020-05-26So good! We had to move a large office/studio/workshop from Brooklyn NY to Wilmington DE. We were so nervous because of the pandemic, and other moving companies were very expensive. We saved thousands of dollars packing ourselves, and the professionalism of the drivers drd the support team was truly remarkable. We had, literally, a perfect experience at both ends. Highly recommended.
