I just had one of those days today! I needed roadside assistance TWICE for two different vehicles. They showed up twice and were GREAT both times. Rion showed up to help me get my SUV started because my battery was dead! He was on time, very polite, easy going and helpful. He gave me advice about what to do if the battery problems persisted. He also looked at my other vehicle and told me what the problem was and that me driving the car was unsafe for me. I had to make a second road side assistance call for the second vehicle. I cant remember the name of the second gentleman who came with the tow truck, but he was also on time, professional, polite and had no problem getting my car onto the back of the tow truck despite the cars issue and the fact that my street is a dead end hill and is usually a nightmare. I have had to get my cars towed several times in the last four and a half years and 99% of the time I deal with this company. Knowing that they are the ones who are being sent and at least I am dealing with trustworthy people. I would definitely recommend them! I appreciate you guys and your willingness to always come and rescue me!!
Horrible place, dont use this company ever, they over charge, make sure you get a detailed bill(they charged $150 for the cops calling them) they charge you for days they wont let you pick your vehicle up, I called the same day my vehicle was towed no one knew what was going on the girl who answered the phone had no idea what was going on or if my vehicle was even there, my vehicle was stuck there for days before anyone could find it, needless to say the only reason this place stays in business is because they are thiefs and they hire drivers who dont know how to tow so they damage your car. Needless to say, I think I will be calling a lawyer, and seeing what can be done about what happened, and I will be reporting it to BBB!
Im very appreciative of the help and level of professionalism I received from Rick Corcoran, Manager. He arrived within the ETA that was set for me and explained what he was going to do to get my car to a location that would guarantee it wouldnt get stuck again. He was very kind and very courteous. I highly recommend U-SAVE Towing & Recovery.
Impeccable professional service. They are my go-to company for several years now when something breaks down. Last night my RV broke down and then caught fire! All was well, they arrived lickety split, came up with a creative way to tow my RV without doing any further damage. The driver worked until three in the morning to make sure we and the RV got home safe. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Great Service and comparable pricing. $50 hook up with $5 per mile. The gentleman that came to rescue me when I was broke down during rush hour was exceptional even after I confused him on where exactly I was located. He was friendly, polite and showed concern for me by assuring me he would be there shortly and not to worry because he would find me. I waited 45 minutes which I consider reasonable in their profession. I couldnt thank him enough for getting me and my vehicle safely home. I will be sure to use U-Save for my vehicle emergencies in the future. Great Job!
We were coming through Binghamton, NY on our way to a horse show when we got a flat and a blown tire on the highway. We got everything under control enought to go down to U Save to have everything checked and the staff was WONDERFUL. The gentleman that helped us was so kind and helpful and took care of us practically as soon as we got there. He helped check our tires and filled the ones that were a bit low. He advised us on what tires would be better for the trailer! So thankful that they were there when we needed them.Thank you so much to the staff for all of your help, you alleviated alot of the stress surrounding our morning!
I have never left a review about any business but Usave is honestly one of the worst businesses I have ever worked with. Police officers shouldn’t be using them to tow vehicles after accidents. They prey on people in bad situations. Don’t use this place for anything and hopefully they will go out of business
After being told they would be there within the half hour, I called back 35 minutes later and was told that they had rerouted the truck being sent to me somewhere else and that one would be there shortly for me. When the truck cake 10 minutes after that, he was confused as he had been told the wrong make and model (despite my having given this info to the dispatcher). He also quickly determined that my battery was dead (not surprising given that I had told the dispatcher my car would not even try to start), told me he did not have the equipment but would be back in 5 minutes with it. Another 30 minutes went by before he returned, jumped my car, and then charged me only $5 less than the price I was quoted to have my car towed to my preferred shop. Would have saved lots of time had he just towed it there...also would not have had to make a pregnant woman sit in 88 degree weather for over an hour. I would not plan to use again or wish such an experience on a friend.
The person that towed my car was fantastic. It was at the top of a windy rocky driveway. He was able to maneuver his truck around to get to my car. It took ingenuity to get it loaded. He was also able to get it out of gear. I had another company first and they couldnt do either tasks.
This company is the absolutely worst rental/towing company to deal with. They have no qualms about taking advantage of customers. They dont allow personal checks and you cant use a credit card if it was a police recovery! Credit card transactions are approved when swiped. What is the risk? They overcharge. They cant give a full explanation why it cost $400 to tow an RV less than 20 miles one way. That, my friends, is $20 a mile. AAA charges $3. Then you get a $110 storage fee for up to one day and a lot fee on top of that for $35. Since they take only cash in many instances, Im pretty sure that may explain their mega truck fleet. A contract with the county would be pretty lucrative. To rent a vehicle, you need to offer your TWO first born children as I listened to a phone inquiry conversation. For easy rentals, go to the airport for COURTEOUS service with unlimited mileage. Take a cab, if need be, it will still be cheaper and certainly less degrading dealing with these nasties that will leaved a bad taste in your mouth for at least a week.
Recently had to use my roadside emergency townig thru my insurance company and unfortunately they were only able to dispatch this joke of a tow company... The first call for help was at 4pm. Approximately 4.5 hours later the tow truck driver called looking for Rt.12 in Harpursville... We told him no the vehicle is in Hubbardsville... His response was you need to call your insurance company and correct the address. My response was no I got a confirmation text from my roadside of the exact address so you need to contact your supervisor and get the correct info.. Approximately 1230-1am the driver shows up at my house with my vehicle and get out and rudely says were do you want it... I show him where and he looks at the spot and says he Im not responsible if your vehicle hits the tree or guardrail as it comes off my truck. Mind you there is about 10 to 15 feet between the tree and guardrail.. He unloads my vehicle safely and says bye. I ask if there was any signature needed and he says nope gets in his truck and leaves.. 9 hours to wait for my vehicle to arrive at my house is wrong... Mind you my girls 2 dogs my girlfriend and I got picked up by a family member drove to my house I then borrowed a truck to go back up there to get our camper... For information only thats 2 hours home 45 mins to 1 hour to get borrowed truck drive 2.5 hours back to camper and my vehicle hook up camper by myself in the dark drive back 2 hours unhook camper and completely unload from our trip and i still got home before my vehicle... Iwill never use this company again and I will tell everyone that will listen not to either...
Shadiest business known to man.Owner is essentially a criminal. Just check out his court records and/or the businesss court records. Has always had a horrible reputation in all my years of living in the area. Business practices are borderline illegal. Too much first-hand knowledge to share here but stay far FAR away both as a customer and as an employee. Or you will learn the hard way.Office staff is impossible to deal with and miserable.
READ THIS BEFORE GOING THERE!!!! Worst place to go to get your car worked on. The are manipulative and take advantage of females. When asked to speak to the boss. He refused to come out of his office to explain the extreme hike in my bill. If I could rate them with a negative sign I would. Terrible service, terrible communication, terrible owner. Had transmission work done and they left the battery out of my car for so long i had to replace it. The nightmare started with the tow and continued throughout the entire service.
Worst company i ever seen. I bought a 2005 Boulevard motorcycle from them. the first day I rode the bike I noticed thought it was running rich. I brought the bike back to the garage and they said they would to have a look at it and fix it 6 days later they called me back and said it was fixed. it work good for about 2 days then the same issue arose. on my way into work I let off the throttle and a four foot flame shout out each tailpipe sounded like a shotgun. have the bike for 6 months 8 times in the shop still did not resolve the issue. last time I took it there was about a week before I move to Alabama. I drove the bike to my training center for my new job riding on the highway at 70 miles an hour the speed limit. the bike locked up skidded to the side of the road and began to smoke. I tried to get off the off ramp after getting on the off ramp I look down at my leg and salt oil pumping out the front jug. I called them about this issue. and I quote you moved out of state you broke the contract you have to get approval to even leave the state with that bike not just for moving purposes but you travel. very pissed off I gave a derogatory comment and told him to get the Apple thing off my lawn. Its been over a year and a piece of junk bike is still sitting on my front lawn. no agreement can be made with him next step scrap yard. never ever ever do business with them. I know seven people have bought cars and found sawdust in the motors in the transmission had numerous problems after they bought it Im in royally screwed over by this company.
My car broke down on A Friday. They took it and when I went to pick it up they tried charging me $675. Price gouging. They wouldnt give me my car back. The girl that works there is the Binghamton Police Chiefs daughter and the owner is A very Ritch Criminal!!! . They put A hole in the door and I let them keep it. Because I am poor they took my car. I hope Bad Karma is gonna put them out. Also my insurance company kicked me to the curb. I went 6 months without A car and now only one insurance company would take me. I am paying Big Money for car insurance and it hurts. RIPPED OFF. 💣
2 experiences. One was through my insurance company refering me to them when my car had a failed head gasket and I got it flatbed towed 200 miles home. They let me ride along. Second experience was when I locked the keys in my electronically controlled Touareg (1st time ever). A guy showed up at 8:30 at night, used the pillow to lightly bend the passenger door out just far enough to stick in a rod and pull the door handle, opening the door. This set off the alarm, but it was ok because I climbed in the back, grabbed the key, and unlocked the car and everything was fine. They were prompt and courteous.
Completely overpriced my wife totaled her the police suggested to have usave tow it ...when they arrived my wife asked for it to be towed to my friends house 1 mile away from the accident tow truck driver said he would if we had cash on hand .which she had just got her biweekly check she deff had enough but when asked how much he didnt know and refused to call the office for a price .so it was towed to their impound lot before my wife could get the plates or stuff out of it go to get some stuff and see the bill it was about 515 dollars .it was triple any other company would of charged and it didnt even get towed to where I wanted it so I would of had to have another company come move it they did let her get personal belonging but not the plates til we pay 378 dollars and sign the title over lol right before Christmas I wasnt to happy so I let the car sit in their lot 40 something days before going to pay and sign it over . Beware of this company dont give them the opportunity to RIP you off too I suggest not having police suggest any tow company and personally calling anyone else maybe airborne auto in endicott but either way if in that predicament get your plates off at the scene of the accident
Worst people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They arrived half an hour late. Scratched my car attempting to open the door. Very unprofessional and rude. Told me they would pay for their mistake but when I sent in a claim they denied ever scratching my car. I hope they go out of business. Terrible people do exist.
The workers Rick, Chris, and Jeff showed up promptly. Assessed the situation with my Tanker Trailer and went straight to work making it safe to drive back to the shop where it was fixed by the end of the day so I could deliver my load. I can not say enough good things about this company and their employees. Thanks againJeffrey BrysonDriver at Metzler Brothers Transport.
Dont ever bother. The manager rick is a coward who refuses to return complainant calls. Usave auto feels its OK for their drivers to curse out customers. However they hang up on you when you return the same respect you were given. Please foe the love of God dont waste your time with these people. And AAA PLEASE TAKE THEM OFF OF YOUR CONTACT LIST.
Woke up and went outside, our car was gone. Called BPD because no signs were up the night prior about the street being closed to parking. Towed less than a mile by this company, less than an hour later we go to get the car and are charged a $400.00 towing fee.Cash only because customers refute charges. I tried to talk with every staff member I met, to no avail.
U-Save Towing goes above and beyond to help people pressure they helped us to pick up a vehicle on a Sunday Greeneville Tennessee wish theyre not open and we really appreciate that David lie many people will get out of their beds and be there on a Sunday to open up something when they are not open on Sundays I will recommend that to anyone
They really saved me; had an accident on 88. My insurance connected me to them for towing. They took care of the repairs and gave me a brand new car rental so that I can continue on my trip while my car is being repaired. All the charges were itemized and they stood behind their words of taking care of everything.
Terrible place to rent cars from first and last time I will rent from them, they charged me $65 for smoking yes I do smoke butt I could have bought a air freshener or had the car cleaned and it would have been cheaper and I also had my 4 year old grandson in the car with me so its not like I smoked while he was in it but anyway its done and over they will never see me again!!!!

2022-06-24Marissa and Team were awesome!! I was struggling through an insurance claim where someone fled the scene after hitting 2 of my parked cars and was really struggling to get information to make a claim on that persons insurance - Marissa went above and beyond to guide me through the process so that I didnt end up screwed. 2022-04-22For a prominent towing company as large as they are they could do a whole lot better for front desk help!! Nice entrance way and everything but I didnt feel greeted at all when I got there. Its like talking to the wall. I understand you cant release stuff to other people but you could take one second of your time to give information instead of the customer having to ask 50 questions to get the information he needs.Or maybe helping with a solution or telling the customer the problem is already been solved. That didnt happen

2022-06-21Call at 7pm to have car towed. Told 60 minutes waited still nothing called told another 45 minutes waited called again and was told the same thing for 5 hours. Clearly doesn’t care to get paid to literally to tow my car 7 minutes up the road to my house. If I could give 0 stars I would. Literal trash company.

2022-01-28Absolutely horrible my son was in a car accident they towed $350 for the tow and since he was in the hospital they impounded it for a couple hours and charged $545 to get the car out. He’s 18 the car was drivable and to impound it instantly to make more money absolutely ridiculous. Never again. If I could give 0 stars I would

2021-06-17After having an accident on a Friday at 5:00 pm 200 miles from home , Im so grateful that U-SAVE towing picked up my truck and provided a rental car. They did all the repairs, bodywork, dealt with my insurance company and were just the most helpful HONEST people. Im from NYC and honestly I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, no hotel , no big name rental companies. Ed and Marissa were so helpful, understanding and just there when most people would be like NOT MY JOB. Thank you to all of the people at U-SAVE. You are proof that there are Good People in the world.

2020-11-11Great service and experience. Requestied a tow through my insurance and U-SAVE was the responding organization. Amos came and when I explained what was going on and where the tow was needed to go, across the street, he used his critical thinking and problem solving skills to jump and get my car to the mechanic! He was friendly, professional and a great guy! It was not a long wait at all and I appreciated his calm, reassuring approach in a time I was anxious about my car! Thanks,

2020-02-25A day after a 2020 winter storm U Save had a truck on the road hauling a vehicle in the Kirkwood area. As we passed each other on a bridge snow, ice and debris came off their snow , ice and debris covered truck and landed on my windshield. My windshield cracked immediately. I immediately called U Save and left a message with their 24 hour answering service. I never heard anything back so I called them on the next business day during operating hours and spoke with a employee name Rick who told me to bring the truck down so he could look at my windshield. He also told me to call before coming to be sure he was going to be there. After 3 phone calls to schedule a meeting with no success finally 6 days later I caught Rick at the U save location and had him look at my windshield which was cracked completely across from one side to the other. After climbing on my truck and feeling the crack and having another employee call the windshield repair company to find out the windshield ran about $400.00 he declined to do anything about the windshield. I am thoroughly disgusted with their business practice. I believe they should of taken responsibility for their truck on the road. And responsibility for driving the truck covered in snow, ice and debris. As I see it they strung me along for 6 days knowing full well they were not taking responsibility for their truck. They wasted my time for over and hour to go through the motions of feeling the crack which I feel was totally unnecessary. And just all a act!! (NOTE: When I left the message with the answering service I was specific on time, date and location so U Save would know fully well they had a truck in that location) I do not recommend anyone who can not take responsibility for their own actions. And will continue to let everyone know about their business practices.
