My girlfriend went here due to the good reviews. She had gone in to get a gel nail with a design, but it came out nothing like the reference. Sophia said she would fix them, but when the time came she didn’t want to fix anything, and just painted over them again. She said to fix them, it would take too much time and that she would have to pay more. They don’t want to fix their mistakes, and they lie. Don’t give them the business.Reference pic compared to final product. At least keep your word.

Been going here for months! Love my nails and the service every time I go. If I chip or break a nail soon after getting them done, they have always fixed it. They are also great at following pictures and I’ve even had mine come out better than the pictures! Love U2.

They have been taking appointments since they reopened after the pandemic . They try to be very accommodating to all. Very clean and safe, professional atmosphere. Always do a great job on my nails too.

I’ve been going to this place to do my nails more than one year. Judy is so nice and about her work I can say she is professional nail artist. Any design that I asked she did the same and also she is so fast . I fully recommend her .👌

I have been coming to U2 nails for a few years. I love it! I come in with stress and leave a new person. I think the staff really care about the customer and I never feel rushed. They are very friendly and professional. The owners Sophie and James are awesome. The store is clean, very big and cozy. Great experience, the best in town. Go and enjoy your mani, pedi, and massage you wont be sorry!

Sophie and James are kindest, most accommodating, business owners. The staff at U2 are friendly, professional, and amazing at what they do. The salon is very clean and set up for a relaxing experience. They take their time, never rushing their customers. I highly recommend U2 nails.

I usually love coming here, but I came during somewhat of a rush with a ten minute wait. I don’t mind waiting at all cause I always love the outcome. I got gel dip today and Sophie did my nails..I figured they would come out perfect. Turns out no... she filed my cuticles until one bled and she also was very rough with the cuticle cutter. She rushed, my nails aren’t even lengths and there is gel dip all over my fingers. My biggest problem is that the sides of my nails aren’t done. I’m so shocked on how ugly my nails look.

For a good few months I went to this place for acrylics. Im not a leave a review type person but my latest experience was so awful, I will never go back and hope no customer trusts them again.Ive come every couple of weeks for fill ins for stiletto styled nails. This last time I expected the usual treatment, but was sorely disappointed. I made an appointment as per usual, but wasnt attended to for 35 minutes - even though they accepted several walk-ins before me.Once I was helped, my manicurist decided itd been too long since I had my last fill ins - even though itd been the usual 2 weeks - and that my acrylics would need to be removed entirely. Which I couldve been agreeable toward if she hadnt then proceeded to rip off my acrylics by using a fake nail and shoving it between them and my real nail to pry them off. A very painful process that led to part of my thumbnail being torn from the bed, which proceeded to bleed everywhere. She then insisted I do gel powder instead of acrylic, while intermittently attempting to stop the bleeding.I asked if that would be possible with the length and shape I wanted to keep, which she again insisted it would. It was not. The final product was chunky, uneven, looking flat out awful and fake, which only improved when I went home to file down myself.Because of the 35 minute wait, I wound up being stuck there for an hour after closing (my routine usually is 1 hour 15ish mins, this was a total 2 and a half hour ordeal). And in that time both she and I were rushed to finish while they cleaned, and the manager even tried talking me out of getting the matte finish even though my final price wouldnt have been changed. I sarcastically asked her if it was because I was holding them up, which she assured me I wasnt - even though they took two additional customers after closing - but once my nails were dry, there was no care given. No brush or wash off, no moisturizer, my hands were straight crummy and feeling disgusting and my manicurist practically flew from her seat after the last coat.I understand the assembly line of this operation on Long Island but Im still paying good money, and tipping $20 regardless of what I get done. It was so upsetting to have been made to wait upon a set appointment, put in pain in potentially unsanitary conditions, and to try and be manipulated/haggled with to save their time from having one additional paint coat on my nails.A week later I went to Lulus on Larkfield who asked why Id even gotten gel powder for the long, stiletto look I wanted. They informed me that gel powder is strictly for shorter nails, and for those attempting to improve the growth of said shorter nails. That I shouldve never let U2 do what they did. And they promptly fixed my nails to a way better quality. So I became even angrier with U2.Do not let these people harm your hands and waste your money for the sake of a manicure.

I went in for a gel dip and asked for them to look natural. I had them put tips on my nails to even them out because some of my nails were shorter than others. When my nails we’re finished, they looked wide and lumpy, and almost all of my fingers are bleeding. My natural nails normally look great with any length because I have slender fingers and slender nails beds but this time, the gel dip was not filed enough and now they look awful. My nails look like I glued chiclet gum on my finger tips. Extremely unhappy and disappointed. I payed $55, and my nails look so ugly.
