New place, competitive prices!!Got my new screen protector for $45 and 1 year warranty for replacement for only $5!Cant beat that! I know for certain because I had called a few places before hand nearby, visited TM mobile and queens mall and no one had a better price!Ibi is honest and an excellent manager ! Ibi also had my phone cleaned and fully charged before I retuned.
They advertise free diagnostic but actually have a hidden charge. Dude at the counter didnt even wanna talk with me and didnt wanna even hear what was wrong with my Nintendo switch. He also walked off on me mid sentence. Didnt ask if I even wanted to do a $25 diagnostic. Also said he had other devices to worry about. The other customer in the store was even surprised. Taking my money to Nintendo. Rather buy a new switch, dont even care about the save data anymore after that. Planning on checking out video games New York instead.
Paid a lot to fix broken screen on daughters iPad ….. it wasn’t done right there’s a huge spot in middle of screen that doesn’t work and they pushed some nonsense about asurian I wouldn’t have monthly charge…. I have been charged monthly since I I sent this iPad in….. dishonest service
Honestly, I came in here crying thinking my phone was gone forever. Deep was so kind and understanding. He let me know exactly how much it would cost so there were NO hidden surprises. If you need any sort of help with electtronics-phone, ipad, Nintendo Switch- Bring it here. Fixed quickly with EXCELLENT customer service.
Came in December and repaired a phone. Months later I looked at my credit card and I got billed $27.21 from asurion home plus The people that work over there didnt tell me there will be any hidden fees to my credit card. This place does repairs but but be warned with the hidden fees
Not very professional and did not act as if they cared about the customer at all. I had to wait a long time before getting service when there was nobody there. Additionally, tried to pressure me to buy an insurance policy that I didnt want claiming you would be better to get it because I also needed to replace a battery which I do not believe I need it at all. Im in sales and used high pressure sales tax it to force me to buy the policy that I didnt want.
Hello all, I was unable to find resolution to my laptop problem and instead never received the call from technician to explain why my laptop gives out a sparking sound in-spite of active support in trying to mobilize help from this store by the escalation team in Florida. I have written of this episode as an ugly experience and decided to move on.I have learnt that this is a franchise of Ubreakifix and even ubreakifix hands are tied in helping me get a resolution. Can you imagine, one pays money and the apparent owner of the company can’t get you a reasonable resolution.I am writing a review with the hope that everyone can take note of this that please don’t be misled by the high reviews of the store. I am 100% certain that the store embarks on a practices to get spam accounts to leave 5 star reviews for them. So, please be absolutely aware that most reviews are sham.
Service was IMPECCABLE. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM MORE STARS.I recently went in to have my screen repaired, Amy the customer service rep at the front desk was very helpful, patient and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved . She was very attentive to every customer that walked in the store and gave each one of us the same high level of service. Alex, the Repair Tech was also extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Im so happy I walked in this store. I will definitely recommend everyone I know. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE 👌
Be careful of scam. Read all the agreements. They sell hidden asurion insurance and make an auto payment from your credit card. And bill u every month for $27. I come to fix my phone and paid for $160. It was fast and satisfied for the result. But then bill come out every month from asurion insurance. The guys who handle me told me Im all set. Just paid paid $160 and Ill get free 1 device to fix it in 30days.
Came into the store because my phone was frozen not able to make any phone calls or enter any apps. As I walked in, the two reps gracefully ask me what the problem was with my phone. Within two minutes she was able to reset my phone. I also found out all of the different of electronica that this company can fix, repair, and even install. Would highly recommend.
This place is a scam!!! Came in to fix my cracked screen thru Asuron. The guy at the front desk told me that there might be extra charges once he opened my phone to assess the damage. Once I left he calls me back saying he found an additional damaged piece. But when I go pick up my phone the guy tells me there was a hole in my screen. which I have pictures assuring that there was no hole in the screen, when I left him the phone!! The hole on the screen that he showed me looks completely done by him or the tech he has working in the back!! Be careful and take pictures of your device before you drop it off!!
I was at the store looking to get some service. I stood there for more than 3 minutes. I could hear people speaking in the back and I patiently waited because I noticed there are cameras that can see me.. After three minutes I decided to say Hello, good morning and finally the guy called himself the manager came out and told me they have the camera and able to see the front office. So I responded, you saw me but you ignored what you saw. Then he pointed at a note on the wall and said dumb people dont see the note we posted. I said I did not see the note, are you calling me dumb. He said Im not calling you dumb. I said what do you mean by dumb people. I was expecting an apology instead he kept on arguing with me and denied saying the word dumb. I ended by saying that that is not the only store and he said right and you can go somewhere else. So, Im advising the public not to go there and go somewhere else as the ill-mannered manager told us all to go somewhere else
An absolute mess of an experience; one in which you, as a client/customer, are expected to communicate issues between this repair center and Samsung, the company they’ve a contract with, and one in which you have to question the honesty of their communications/repair.To start, this has been a four day ordeal in which I initially brought my phone for repair in response to a first responder/medical staff promotion that Samsung was offering (screen repair at the cost of $49.99). I received an email from Samsung confirming the repair center location, repair price, and phone WITH IMEI identification.On Monday, UBREAKIFIX took my phone without certainty of how to process my claim (front desk individual had to discuss the matter with a second individual who literally said to just take the phone in and they’ll worry about it later).On Tuesday, they informed me that they’re waiting for an approval/claim/led, that my current claim isn’t visible on their computer, and expected me to resolve this issue with Samsung. On a later call, they told me that they fixed the phone and are just waiting for Samsung’s approval.On Wednesday, Samsung informed me that Mark from UBREAKIFIX said he did not actually repair or touch the phone because they’re waiting for an approval. I informed UBREAKIFIX that I will be picking up the phone to have it repaired by Samsung instead. They then told me to pick it up the following morning so “they can put it back the way it was.”On Thursday, they called me saying the phone is ready to be picked up. I confirmed with them that the phone was returned back to the way it was. When I arrived at the shop, they told me that they had opened the phone, had the replacement LCD next to it, and was just waiting for Samsung to approve it. When they got notice that I was picking it up, they had put the old screen back on. Upon a closer inspection though, the back panel is no longer flush with the phone and there are visible friction marks on the side (shown on the pictures I uploaded).That all said, I wonder if this was all rooted back to when I first declined their battery. Mind you, I’ve been to the shop four times now and on the first two days, they were very persistent in selling their accessories to others. Regardless of such, as a customer, I shouldn’t have been the one expected to resolve something that most certainly, in any other situation, should have been a discussion between Samsung, the manufacturer, and themselves, a repair center in contract with Samsung. This is all in addition to them giving me and Samsung the run around as to whether or not the phone was actually repaired.
Not only did I have a scheduled appointment, I was not tended to for at least 20 minutes in the lobby area. Only after I had called the store to have someone in the back come up and service me, did someone come forward to help any one of the three people in the lobby area the entire time. I dropped the phone off to get repaired. The store claimed to have called me to identify something broken other than my cracked screen. I never got a message or VM indicating this. Instead they replaced my cracked screen and charged me $300+ but cant guarantee the full functionality of my phone. To add salt to injury, they logged into my phone to create a fake five star review of their service. Additionally, I was told that I would be given a free month subscription with Asurion warranty service. Come to find out that my credit card information and personal information was shared with them to set up a monthly recurring $25+ subscription I had not inquired nor approved of. Out $300 and still a broken phone means that I break and they break even further. The fact that they can access my personal device and use for their own gain, is repulsive. Would not recommend anyone to go there EVER
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I don’t write reviews and yes a lot of people say that but really I don’t have the energy to do it so when I do it’s because something is that bad. My phone started freezing and has half a blank screen. I found this service and made the appointment for 4pm today. Someone even called me to confirm the time and I confirmed I would be there. I show up at the store at 4 and see a sign that the person working is out to lunch until 4:15. So why are you making appointments you can’t keep? There was someone else waiting that had an appt at 3:50. He am I wasting my time when clearly this place does not care about its customers. So as I’m waiting I decided to look up reviews on this place and see so many negative and I got more frustrated so I left. How do you make and confirm appointments and then just leave? I made an appointment for tomorrow at another location and hope it’s more professional than this. Then they have the nerve to send me an email saying they missed me?? No dude, I showed up at my scheduled time but NO ONE was there!!
I put a claim in to AT&T, And pick the nearest Store to bring it in to get it fixed.Which was Austin street Forest Hills .My screen was cracked ,the gentleman that helped me told me no problems that it will be ready in 2 hours. I came back to a brand new phone They were polite, fast and friendly. Definitely Ill be going back there again If I have any issues( Hope not)
I would have gave it 5 stars but the sale representative there signed me up a electronic insurance policy, telling me that it is a completely free service for a first time customer. When I asked more about it, I told me he is doing me a favor and was told again the service is completely free. Of course within a month I got my billing statement with the monthly fee.Other than that, service was fast. I had my iPad pro screen repaired there for 350 and I was able to pick it up the next day. However, what the sale representative there done was just extremely unprofessional.I read a couple reviews and it seems like it is a common occurrence. I would try to file an official complains.
Staff is very nice and the tech explained to me everything they had to do to my note 9 to get it repaired. Gurdeep also explained very throughly about home+ and how by me signing up he will take out $25 off the repair and sign me up for a month for free. He explained it is a reoccurring charge but since there is no contact you can cancel at any time. So Im confused by a lot of negative reviews about home+ if he very clearly explains it.
They did a great job at repairing my screen quickly and effectively, however they lose three stars for their attempted rip-off and upsell of a new battery.I came in as an assurian customer to repair the cracked screen. Simple. Then comes the story of how he has been repairing Samsung phones for years, and since there was so much damage to the screen I should pay for a new battery otherwise, I would experience performance loss blah blah blah.Bro, dont rip people off. Do the job requested and lay off the upsells. Amazing how you backed off when I said I wanted to see the damaged battery and new battery being put in. Ill choose elsewhere next time.
Very fast repair!----Edit: This review was written by THE STAFF, NOT ME. I assume all the short 5 star reviews are fake also. The repair definitely was not Fast nor a full repair... they fixed it partially.They access my phone to write a review, but then said they mustve given it to someone else to check their phone. Upon giving it to them, they gave them my passcode to unlock AND access to my personal accounts and information to write this review. They fixed the cracked screen, overcharged me for the quote that I had from Samsung, and didnt finish all the repairs and told me Im SOL. They only fixed the cracked screen, but my phone is still broken, claiming they dont work on motherboard issues. They sent me to Samsung store, telling me it will be covered under warranty, which is NOT TRUE, as it only applies to their own work at their own store.Ive used their services a couple years ago, but its run by someone else and its horrible. Dont recommend anyone getting their work done here. You will get scammed for price, work, and billed for additional Free Insurance by Asurion. Manager doesnt let you talk, says its the way of business, and constantly cuts you off.
Hoping to repair my cracked Google phone screen, I checked the official Google site and they estimated repair at $119 and referred me here for the work. I signed up on uBreaks site and was estimated at $130...no biggie. When I arrived for my appointment, I was given another price of $175 plus tax..which to me, made it not worth the repair. I understand an estimate is an estimate, but just be prepared to pay much more than Google says. I thanked the worker and declined service. As we were leaving, he tried to adjust the price down $10, like a used car salesmans pitch, which made it less comfortable. Definitely wasnt the place for me, sorry.

If you have the time and means, please go to the Bayside location.I have been to the UBREAK on Austin St twice. The first time I arrived to drop off my broken device, I had to wait 15 mins in the lobby without ANYONE coming out to help me. When I was finally greeted, I was told that my appointment wouldnt even happen that day. I was told the shop was backed up about a week and they would get to it. I wasnt comfortable leaving my device for that long and asked when the shop would be less busy. I was told to come back Monday/Tuesday.The second time is why this review is being written. I arrived to UBREAK to drop off my device after chatting with a rep over the phone. Everything seemed fine until it came time for the quote. I was told $150 by a different rep/store. The UBREAK on Austin is $150 more than what I was quoted. As I was trying to gain clarification on the price difference, Deep - store manager - keep cutting me off and interrupting me. He proceeded to argue with me and just massively unprofessional.I ended up leaving because I refuse to pay for a repair that is more than the price of the device and has a 50/50 shot that it will fix my issue. I also refuse to spend my money with people who have no customer service and is rude. THIS ISNT AN ISOLATED ISSUE. THIS LOCATION HAS ISSUES WITH EVERYONE AND IS KNOWN FOR BEING RUDE. Please, go to the other locations!
Alexander did an excellent job when dealing with the issue I had with my Iphone 8 plus. He managed to fix my microphone as well as charging port for an amazing price in a timely manner. The issue I had with my phone was quite complex, but he was willing to take his time and attempt to fix the issue when other repair shops were unable to do so. I will definitely be coming back if I need another repair. I would recommend this repair shop in an instance based on the cost, time efficiency, dedication, and professionalism.
Deep was very nice and my problem with my nintendo did get fixed. However, he bundled the price he charged me with a $30 insurance plus that I didnt ask for, want, needed, or agreed to pay separately. The charge for the service shouldve been just $40 but he charged me $70. NOT ONLY THAT but its a recurring charge!!!! I had to call and dispute the charge and cancel the recurring payment. Thankfully I was refunded the amount. He not only did this to me but to another relative who also took in their nintendo to get fixed.

After taking the Asurion service contract I feel relieved that any future issues with all my devices will be solved in a fast, inexpensive, and trustworthy manner. Five stars!
The lady talking about her experience that Deep charged her more price and the customer she is talking it’s me he didn’t force me to buy that Home+ He was very specific that he is giving me this plan in the same total which he provided me earlier and if I don’t take I would still pay the same price just he is giving his share of $25 to the assurance company so that I can use this plan for atleast one month and I saw this review so thought of replying on this reviewHe didn’t charge me anything extra he won’t even have charge this lady extra he just charges the same total but he devided that total into 2 price and he gave his share to the assurance company and I think this lady didn’t understand actually he gave this one month plan for free to her and their is no contract on this plan he mentioned very clear and it can be cancelled very easy and will get refund so what’s wrong in this and why do u have to file for dispute I didn’t understandDeep was very professional and explained in details
I was having an issue where I was being redirected to unrelated sites when I clickedon a link and Ive visited a few t-mobile store and no one was able to resolve the issue. I had a great experience at this store. Made my appointment the day of, came in and got my screen replaced. Deep was the gentleman who helped me. It was so quick and easy. Going in I knew it could take a long time based on what it said on their website but my experience was faster than that. I will most defiantly be returning to this store for any future phone repairs.

This was the best tech experience I have ever had! I called to have my computer screen fixed and was told to come in right away, which I did.
