I brought my Msi GL73 9SC in on 7/7/2022 with a broken hinge. They stated that they would order the part and it should be ready within two weeks. I had to constantly call for updates. They NEVER returned my calls. I finally went back on 8/31/2022 to get my computer back. In seven weeks, they opened my computer and never did anything. They said that they would put it back together and it would be ready by the days end and would call me. I went back right before closing, and in five hours they never put it back together.I now have to go back tomorrow and try to get it back.While I was there, another person came in to get their Mac all in one laptop. It had been there for three months with nothing being done. They lost that persons keyboard and mouse. Their customer service is appalling. I went to uBreakifix at 2012 Merrick Road in Merrick. They will fix my computer when I get it back. Once again, go to the Merrick Store because I cant recommend the store in Rockville Centre NY.
Took a month for them to put a new hard drive into my Mac. I had to call multiple times, there was no communication. When I picked it up there was a new password on my computer that no one online the store knew. It took 30 mins for them to track down the guy who added the password. . The computer was returned dirty with more damage to the screen than it originally had — clearly the screen was further damaged during the repair. STAY AWAY.
Someone used my name and phone number. This store failed to verify the ID of the person who requested the repair. This store also failed to take payment for a repair prior to giving the identify thief their property back because of this they have called me multiple times requesting payment for something I had nothing to do with. I don’t even live in this state nor have I ever visited. Get your stuff together!
I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. 1st I HAD AN 11am APPOINTMENT TO FIX THE BACK OF MY PHONE AND THEY TOLD ME 4 HOURS. I WENT BACK AT 7Pm RIGHT WHEN THEY WERE CLOSING AND MY PHONE STILL WAS NOT READY. IT WAS FINALLY READY AT 7:45PM. 2nd LITERALLY THE VERY NEXT DAY WHAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED BROKE AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I DEALT WITH COLE AND IVAN.
Nice people , unfortunately understaffed which lead to very bad service, long line and long wait. After two weeks of waiting for replacement battery was told that the battery they ordered was not the right one for my phone and this is after they had my phone for 4.5 hours ... hard to understand ..
I took my phone to them at 10 oclock am and my phone was still not ready by 7 oclock pm waited all day for my phone to get fix they do not know what they are doing in there I recommend to take your electronic some where else. I will never go to them to get anything fix
Excellent Customer Service and repair. Brought in my HP laptop with a swollen battery pushing the back case off the laptop. They knew what was wrong immediately and two weeks later (as promised) I am back up and running. The price was reasonable - which was a bonus. The Rockville Centre location was great.
Twist law although the service was slow and some customers had to wait that were receiving their phones back and I feel like they would have benefited from having an extra employee up front. overall the experience was satisfactory but nothing special. However Idc as long as they return my device in tip top shape within 7 days. well see how it goes🧐 will update.
They had my first device for 4 months, no calls to update me. I’m the one that has to call them only for them to say they still need more time. And after all that it still wasn’t fixed. They even convinced me to subscribe to the Asurionhome+. I gave them a second device and the outcome was the same, nothing fixed. Out of time and money and nothing to show but frustration. I would never recommend them.
The check in process was exhaustively long. There was 2 employees in the front but only one helping customers with one point of sale system. I waited 30 minutes with only 1 person in front of me in line and ended up leaving and coming back later in the day to try and get my device in for repair. Same experiance when i came back.The end result of the repair was good but the overall experience was unnecessarily long and drawn out .The time wasted could have been optimized with better training and product knowledge of employees.
I went to have a shattered screen replaced. They never communicated with me so I kept making trips back and forth. First, they admitted 5o changing screen and it wasnt working anymore. Then they changed.it again and the iPad is stuck in recovery mode. After 2 weeks of no communication, I called to get an update. They stated that there was an issue. I pointed out the iPad was fully functional at the exception of broken screen when they first received it. Which they confirmed. I requested a supervisor or manager call me to talk about how to remedy the situation. It been almost 3 weeks and I have yet to hear back. I believe they were taken over and basic customer service is an epic fail. Dont recommend at all
I did not get a good experience today. After brief/alleged diagnosis that they did behind wall, told me that bluetooth might be defective. I told him its not possible since its not connecting with cable either. Then he told me that Board will be faulty and only Sony has that board for PS4. I told him to check the usb port which he reluctantly cleaned. They did not check it even after cleaning the port whether it worked or not. Afterward i visited another repair shop where the controller starts working without fixing anything. So conclusion, it was the port that was creating the problem, and even that I speculated with my less than minimum knowledge, I am giving 2 star instead of 1 because of clean store.
UBreakiFix in Rockville Center, New York were FANTASTIC. They understood my concerns about the need to have my phone, and it was repaired in a timely manner. uBreakiFix also offered their professional advice on how to care for the protection of my phone going forward. My phone looks great cosmetically and works great like that of a BRAND NEW phone all at a reasonable price. They were all great but I want to say that Keith was especially AWESOME with his time and patience with helping me by explaining some of the features on my phone. Thanx uBreakiFix.
Dont bring your laptop here for repair. I shouldve listened to folks who complained in other reviews. I left my laptop with them for a week so they could repair it - the bottom frame is beginning to separate from the keyboard. I also asked them to use adhesive to re-stick the rubber feet, which are coming off the laptop. They didnt do either. I asked for progress updates every other day to see if anything changed, and they kept repeating the issue I brought it in for (visible frame separation), and that their techs still need to diagnose it. By the 7th day, I realized they werent going to do anything with the laptop, so I took it back from them. I use this computer for personal and work affairs, so it was more annoying to find out I disadvantaged myself for nothing. They may be good at fixing phones, but not notebooks. Look elsewhere.
Don’t waste your time with these guys. They are unprofessional and never follow up. I dropped off a gaming laptop that sat there for 3 weeks and was never looked at. When I called they claimed they were doing a diagnostic but they never even touched it. You can never speak to a manager or anything. Do your self a favor and go to Best Buy or another computer repair spot. These guys aren’t it.
Brand new (not to mention expensive) phone and crapped out after only 7 months! I was so upset, i thought i lost all my pictures and everything. Brought it here and the guys that worked here were so nice and assured me it would be an easy fix. 45 min to closing and didnt hear back, got worried and called. They told us they couldnt fix it and needed to keep it until tomorrow. So i went back to the store to get my sim card to put in my old phone. I went to the counter to ask for my sim card since they couldnt fix the phone. The guy looked confused and came back out with a fixed phone! So not sure if they confused me with someone else or spoke too soon. But they fixed my phone like new! They are amazing! Would definitely come back here!
Terrible service. I dropped my MacBook Air laptop off for service on 12/1/21and ended up picking it up on 12/21/21 because it was never serviced. During several calls checking on the status, I was told they were backed up, several days later I was told they tried to contact me via email and I didn’t respond but found out they had an incorrect email address when I repeated what it was and then was told it was out for servicing. When I questioned how could it be out for service when I didn’t speak to anyone to authorize the service. I was told to check in again the next day. I then get a call that it’s the battery and could cost $149 max and so I authorized the service. I get a call a few minutes later saying it’s not the battery and to repair would cost $279 max and so I authorize repair for this. I called a few days later on the 20th to check on status and was placed on hold as usual only to be told there was a miscommunication with sending my laptop out for service and that it has not gone out for service.It’s clear they are short staffed and need to be realistic what they can or cannot do. Staff was always pleasant but never seemed to know what was going on despite having an assigned ID number to reference to.
The service here was extremely upsetting. After i brought my Samsung phone to have the screen and back glass repaired (the parts were in stock) I was told they couldnt do the repair until the next day (understandable). I left my phone there overnight and had to leave my sim card in the phone. I was ASSURED that the repair would be done by 3 the next day. I asked how would I know if the phone was ready if I cant get phone calls? I was told to just come in at 3 and it would be ready. IT WASNT. The store closed at 7 and I didnt walk out of the store until after 7:40! I dont think they even started the repair until I walked into the store at 6:40. (I needed my phone by 3 as they had my SIM card). I was given my repaired phone at about 7:25 and the back glass wasnt even changed! Im lucky that the back glass only took an additional 15 minutes. If you want a quick, same-day repair dont go here. They cant even keep up with the phones that they received the day before to keep up with the influx of the repairs they receive the next day.
I am highly disappointed with the service I received from UBREAKIFIX at Rockville centre NY. I brought my MacBook Air for a repair and told me it would take a week to fix. It has been 3 weeks and I still haven’t received my laptop yet. No one has gotten back to me. They told me it was 434 and I signed a quote for 434. 2 weeks later they left a message on my voicemail saying it was 499 in total. They haven’t even fixed my laptop yet and their changing the price. This is unprofessional and I am highly disappointed. I take full time classes on my laptop and I had to go to the library use their computers to take my exams and classes. It’s been 3 weeks going on 4 weeks with no laptop. They still have my laptop and they don’t give me any updates on what’s going on . I would not suggest anyone to bring their electronic device to this store at all. They will definitely disappoint you. They also did not want to provide me with the supervisors number or email at that. They did not provide me with corporates number or email either. They only gave me the stores email and workers names. They were so unprofessional and scared to give the manager/supervisors email. It was so sad !! I do not trust them. Was advised to take my phone to UbreakIFix as my screen stopped working. Called the store as soon as they opened and they were able to accommodate me for an earlier appointment. Dropped my phone off and was able to pick it up the same day at no cost as it was covered under the manufacturer warranty. Staff was professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.
I came in on. Saturday afternoon with broken iPhone screen. Was told it can be fixed in 2/3 hours and told the price. I made an appointment for the next day at 11am, price was now $80 more. I dropped off my phone, was told should be ready by 2/3. I called them at at 4, was told working on it and should bd ready at 5:30. I came in to pick it up and nothing was done. Place is a scam…horrible customer service
Very unprofessional and the service or lack of it I received was beyond ridiculous. Samsung ask me to drop a phone of at this location. I did, within hours I received a call to pick phone up because the part was not in stock and had to be order. I did, then I received email saying I declined service. I called the store to clarify I didnt decline service, please order parts and Ill carry phone back. No communication, no calls, no follow-up. I called in few day after receiving an email stating I should pick phone up (the phone that I already picked up). On a 3 way call one tech not realizing I was listening lied and state I declined service. Long story short I drop off the phone again, after 1 week no call communication , I called then was informed they cannot repair. Took them all of 1 month with no follow-up to finally realized that. This store suck big time. wish I could of give -1 star. Definitely will never visit this store again, and probably not another ubreakifix
I drop my phone all the time and have somehow managed to avoid shattering my screen until yesterday. I had a short window of opportunity to get the repair done today and found uBreakiFix through the Samsung website. The repair process was excellent. I setup a drop off window, received a text (on friends phone) a few hours later and its now back to its original pristine state. They even added liquid glass to provide extra protection at no cost as part of a promotion. Thank you guys!
I got my cracked screen fixed. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions. The process was easy. My phone was fixed through a claim through Asurion. I dropped off my phone at 1pm and picked it up around 6:30pm. No lines. Some of the other locations have a long line and longer turnaround time. This location is a great one if you want fast and friendly service.
Amazing experience. Wife cracked her Note 9 screen & within just a few hrs time she was back up & running. The tech up front was nice & explained the whole process to us. We reserved a slot through their website & were taken care of on time. Id give them an extra star if I could as they said they were backed up so we were expecting the phone around 5pm & they were finished fixing it around 1pm.
My Samsung Galaxy S21s screen stopped working a couple of days before a planned trip to Florida and I was worried I would not have my phone back in time, but Dylan at uBreakiFix had it fixed in less than a day all done under warranty. No out of pocket cost and no need to travel to the busy Samsung store in Roosevelt Field. Great job guys!!! Keep it up!!!
Visit Date: August 14, 2021So instead of getting a new tattoo as planned I was able to reschedule with the artist to fix a phone issue that turned into quite a saga for me. My phone screen got cracked at the end of June. Im on a family plan with my sisters, my brother and my brother-in-law. My sister put in a claim to get the screen repaired so two weeks ago I went into an AT&T store and the tech recommended I get a replacement device.The replacement device came in and what did I do? Not my finest moment, not at all. I stuck the whole tiny square sim card package into the phone instead of removing the smaller square and putting it in the sim card tray. After calling some AT&T stores one worker recommended I try ubreakifx. So here I was at 5:45 PM on a Saturday after work.The guy behind the counter said hed never seen this before, told you not my finest moment and to give them 20 minutes. I have a subscription to get free coffee from panera bread, I pay about $10 a month and can go into panera as often as Im able to and get a free coffee every two hours daily. Yesterday was a golden day because I got a coffee in the morning and a second one in the evening, making that subscription WORK!I came back with my coffee and they had retrieved the sim card from my phone thankfully. They are so nice here, especially because they deal with people who have moron moments like me. If you need a ubreakifix store this one is the one to come to in my opinion.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Repair took two times longer than originally told and the cashier did not know how to use the credit card machine. Then when the cash register showed an error the cashier told me to come back later instead of running the card a second time.
This review is for the overall service of UBreakiFix. We took a phone with a cracked screen there at the beginning of May. The screen was replaced as well as an warranty issued (A total of about $400). After a few days, the screen began to lift on the phone. Red flag. This led to the front of the phone screen cracking once again. Being that we could not go back right away to fix the issue due to work, we had to return about a week and a half later.Upon returning to get the broken screen fixed again, Lindsay (who was not helpful AT ALL) explained there was nothing that could be done EXCEPT charge an additional $100 to fix the screen. Ridiculous. Being that we just paid $400 not even two weeks ago to fix the front and back of the screen, this was outrageous. Lindsay gave no other alternative and no help to rectify the situation. She only instructed us that the warranty did not cover outside damage such as the cracked screen, although it was their fault. Prior to bringing this phone in, the only issue we had was a broken screen. The fact that the screen was now LIFTING after being fixed by this company, was on UBreakiFix.Jose who is the manager, did an awesome job of letting us know that he could fix the screen free of charge after hearing our situation. Well, why did the information from Lindsay reflect something different? We are still wondering to this day. Jose not only rectified the situation, but was able to have the phone fixed in an hour. This is something LINDSAY also said could not happen.Overall, Jose was great. His customer service is A+++. Lindsay did nothing to help us, nor rectify the situation. The reason I’m rating this business 1 is because Lindsay was not accommodating to customers who spent $400 just a week prior. Thank you Jose.
I called to get an iPad screen repaired. They quoted me $80 - $99. I thought that was acceptable given that a new iPad costs $329. I set up an appointment to bring the iPad in. When I arrived at the store with my device, they raised the price to a minimum of $129 and told me it would be more if the LCD portion is damaged. At this point, it is no longer worth it to fix the screen as you may as well just buy a new iPad. I suspect the business realizes this and purposely quotes a lower number to get customers to bring in the devices. They do this assuming that once the customer has brought the device to the location, they will go through with the transaction at the higher price. I did not.
I had a terrible experience with them.first time i ever took my macbook for repair…bought from apple store 3-4 years ago..they returned it in 2 weeks saying they can’t fixed it and take to apple store …when i took to apple they found it what was wrong ,but also said i need to het a new battery because mine is not working and not original one…ubreak was the only place i ever took my laptop…i was upset and never expected them being so dishonest..talking to supervisor didnt help..and i had to pay over 500$ to apple for battery while mine had no issues at all!!!They r thiefs!!!!
The place is ok had little problem with the time to fix my phone which need the battery to be change left the phone their 11:00 am and didnt get my phone done until 8:00pm only because I told I needed to have the phone back same day which they wanted me to wait the next day which communicate that I need the phone today so had to insist that we agree it would be finished today got in done after 8 and half hour was supposed to be four hour .
The staff at uBreakiFix couldnt resolve my Samsung issue but I have to say they were absolutely very friendly, professional. They analyzed my Samsung found everything working correctly bit still had the wireless charging issue and told me what to do at Samsung directly. Thank you guys.
Told me 3-4 hours to repair due to type of phone. When no call 4 hours later I call and they havent even looked at it but told me it would take 30 minutes. Go to location and they claim it cannot be replaced (small crack on bottom of screen) and phone needs replacement for a much higher fee. This is only location Asurion authorizes. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. (Note tried to get repaired yesterday - told to come in, go there, system down they arent taking any phones. Guy who answered phone had no idea.) Feel they just dont want to do insurance repairs - only want full paying customers.
Went today to get my Samsung charging port checked out. I told the worker that the charging port works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. He takes my phone in the back and come back in 2 min to tell me there was a lint in the charging port and that the charging port is working and said it will be $20 to take out the Lint from the charging port.Sorry to say but they are trying to rob people here. I complained about charging me $20 dollars for taking out lint from my charging port. They let me go as a one time courtesy.
I was recommended by someone to UBreakiFix and I’m glad I listened. My Daughters I pad screed cracked and needed a new screen. It didn’t just break to shattered. They were very helpful and replaced the glass within 24 hours. They originally said it could take 3-5 days but I received a txt the next day.I would recommend.
A warning about UBreakIFix on N. Village Ave. 🚫I brought my sons iPad in to replace the cracked screen. 🤦♀️ It still worked perfectly, but after several months, I made the decision to have it fixed at his expense to teach him a lesson.After several days in their store, they told me it was repaired. But when we picked it up, the touchscreen keyboard was now not working properly. A few of the letter keys had to be touched several times to get the letter to appear.I brought it back and after a day they called to tell me the home screen button had been repaired - but thats not what we brought it in for! Turns out they had been looking at the wrong work order and made the wrong repair. 🤯Nearly 2 weeks later I called for a status. They said they did their best and believed it was now working better but then tried to put the fault on the initial impact that cracked the screen even though it had been fully working when we brought it in.However, upon pick up, we discovered that actually absolutely nothing on the entire screen working at all - now rendering it 100% completely useless!!! 🤬Of course, now I fear, if I even can get it repaired, the cost will be much worse than what it should have been.
Great price great serviceI finally managed to crack my 5s screen. checked google maps for nearby places and three came up. thus was the best price. I checked Yelp for reviews and got a $25 coupon for only $10 on my way over there. The storefront repair shop has a large waiting area with a few chairs and a flat screen TV. I was A Technician greeted me promptly, checked me in and told me it would take 30 minutes. this was good as I had 34 minutes on the meter for my spot just out front. I walked to the bank, and returned at 25 minutes. Shortly another tech came out, called me and checked me out. I got back to my car with a perfectly repaired 5s and the meter still had 4 minutes on it. What could be better then that?I hope I dont break my glass again, but if I did I would go back here
They had my Note 8 repaired and ready in 3 hours. well done. However, I called about an hour before I came in, and they told me on the phone $239 and when i got there the price went up to $259. It is also listed on their website as $239.Its only $20, but if you have a listed price and a verbal quote from an hour earlier the price should be honored.
They said they can Save All Info. Not only did they loose All of My Info, but they Lost My Sim Card, and the Cell Phone Screen wasnt repaired correctly. I shouldve walked out when the customer ahead of me had an Incomplete Repair. The Technicians are young Students who have No Repair Skills. Im currently in Dispute via Credit Card. My next contact will be the Better Business Bureau!Since u dont guarantee against Lost Data, then why are ur Technicians telling me/customers that u can save All Data? Had I not been assured by ur Techs that my Data would be saved, I wouldnt have used ur service. Furthermore, in ur response to me, u didnt mention about the Screen not being correctly repaired, which is a common problem at ur place of business, nor did u address urTechs loosing my Sim Card; which was in ur possession at the time ur Techs in-checked my Device. Since my Cell Phone/Screen wasnt repaired, then issue the full Total Credit back to my Credit Card, and u can have the Device per spare parts...now that I had to purchase a New Cell Phone!
I had a great experience at this ubreakifix location when I needed my screen replaced. Chris, who greeted me when I walked in, was very nice and super helpful. The team working this morning was able to replace my screen quickly and efficiently and the whole process took less than 45 minutes. This has been one of the more professional looking “screen replacement” storefronts I’ve seen/been to. I’m very happy I brought my phone here.
I went with my S8 because I had problems charging the phone i was greeted by Chris nice guy and very professional,he said let me take a look at it i thought he would have come back and tell me what was wrong with it ,to my surprise he said it was dirty and he had to clean it and everything is fine now.I said wow amazing in 5 minutes my phone was fixed and now is charging like when it was new.Great job Chris 👌
Thank you for fixing my phone so quickly! Highly recommended. Replaced my iphone 7 plus charging port. Dropped it off at 10am and got it fixed within 3 hours as promised. The phone was ready in time and also charged too so that I can make sure the phone was working fine with no other issues.
I had my daughters iPhone 7 screen replaced/repaired it was good for about 4 months then the screen came apart. We went back to the store to see if they would work with us to repair it again correctly but they wanted to charge us again for a bad job. Dont waste your time or money with these guys just purchased a used phone.
They replaced my battery when Apple said they couldn’t because my phone was slightly bent. It took only 15 minuets!! When I went to Apple some know it all kid said it was bent beyond being able to be repaired. They probably just wanted me to buy another upgraded version. The person that helped me today was friendly and accommodating. This was the 2nd time I used this store and I would use them again if warranted.Great job guys!
These guys are friendly and act helpful but they really dont honor their guarantee despite their promises. I brought them a phone for a screen replacement. The damage was very minor but the phone was only 6 months old and I filed a claim through insurance. I was sent to these guys. They replaced the screen but the back button was no longer working properly. By the next day it wasnt responsive at all so I called them and was told to bring it back because it could be as minor as having to readjust the glass screen or putting a different screen on. But if it was something else theyd repair it. I made it clear I wasnt paying any additional money and wanted this resolved under their guarantee. Upon bringing it back, we were told I had to file another claim through insurance & insisted that the issue wasnt caused by them. He said their system of checks would never allow the phone to be returned if there was any issues with the back button. I told him the back button was slow to respond as soon as they replaced the glass and stopped working altogether within hours. I wasnt paying yet another deductible since the back button was working just fine when brought to them. In the end I didnt give the phone back to them for repair. Im currently dealing with the insurance company for a more reliable repair location or a replacement phone.ETA: Im still awaiting a replacement from insurance which is taking awhile due to a backorder for a specific color; however in the time that Im waiting, now the lower half of the screen has gone black and the phone is unusable due to this issue. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This was ALL due to shoddy work replacing the glass which affected the phones touchscreen. Horrible service! Never again!
What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it. The person who helped me, Arron, was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. After having an extremely frustrating experience with Apple service dept via phone this was a pleasure. The solution to the problem was done quickly. This store will be my “go to place” for any technology repairs in the future.
I do not recommend bringing a gaming console here. I took my PS4 here because I was having issues with freezing and they told me it would take 24-48 hours to fix and it ended up taking them over a week. They said they fixed the PlayStation and told me it was ready for me to pick it up. So I picked it up and my PS4 froze after 20 minutes for gameplay. This place is terrible for console repairs. If you have console issues you should bring it to GadgetRx, they do a way better job with consoles.
They are VERY courteous and nice to their customers. I spoke with Dave about having the LCD and glass replaced on my 5c and although they were waiting on a shipment of the part, he gladly called me when they had them and told me if there was a delay I would get an extra 10% off and that he would go to their other location to grab the part if need be. Thanks guys! :)
I went to their website Around 9am, I booked an appointment for 4pm I then drove an hour to get to them only to find out that they do not have what I needed in stock. It was very disappointing bec. When you book an appointment you fill out a form that asks you exactly what you need , they should have contacted me to let me know they do not have the part.
Took my phone to replace the glass. They were upfront on costs, professional. While I was there they were advising customers and being very honest with the repair cost vs the value of the phone. In addition they give you a tracking number and time estimate. They do text you when its done but if your primary phone is the one that broken its kind of useless.

Very courteous and professional staff. My phone needed a screen and battery replacement. Unfortunately, I had to take the phone back four times due to the phone shutting down inexplicably. The screen and battery were both defective, so those parts were replaced again free of charge. I was told if the problem was not resolved, I would be offered a refund of the original repair cost. So far, the phone is in working order again.
This place will fix your phone yes. But if you want good customer service or a company that is not rude / will take responsibility when they mess up or misplace something like your phone case then this is not it. Run like hell and let another place handle your personal devices
Last Feb. my battery on my Samsung Galaxy S6 needed replacing. Samsung sent me to Ubreakifix in Rockville Centre & yes indeed they replaced it-went to 100% BUT the rest of the phone stopped working. I could not connect to the internet, no phone calls, no emails no anything. I could message on FB (not messenger) but nothing else. I was back to that shop 3 days in a row. Went to nearby T-mobile (my server) who said exactly what I was thinking;.whoever opened the phone to replace the battery touched something they shouldnt have! Of course, when I returned to the shop they blamed T-Mobile. Everyone (in the business) knows T-mobile sends phones AWAY for repair, all T-mobile did was LOOK at the phone, I went right back to the shop, so this shop used that as an excuse. I paid $86.89 for them to finish off the phone-(price of the battery & ruining the rest of phone).They said they couldnt figure out why it wouldnt connect to the internet & couldnt fix it. I asked for return of my money since their work is guaranteed. Of course they refused-they said their diagnostics were working for the phone (I guess if the diagnostics are working but your phone isnt that negates the guarantee). I had to buy another phone. Samsung called to ask how I liked Ubreakifix, I told them. Shortly after that I saw the announcement that Samsung now has a contract to send customers to one of Ubreakifixs 300 locations. Good work, Samsung, way to keep people happy. I disputed the charge with my CREDIT CARD COMPANY & was refunded the $86.89.I still had to buy another phone. Just a few days ago I called Ubreakifix Customer Service & was equally stonewalled by them as I was in the shop-their mantra of all the diagnostics checked out. MAYBE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE DIAGNOSTICS??? The phone didnt work. All I needed when I went in was a battery, now I needed a new phone. Those are the black & white undeniable facts. This all happened in the space of 3 days in Feb. Waste of a lot of my time.Their guarantee of their work is totally worthless. I see by other remarks on this forum that others have had the SAME experience.I think the FCC or the Attorney General should at least get a report on them. They totally refuse to accept the fact that they make mistakes, wont HONOR their own guarantee.
You can schedule an appointment online or you can do a walkin. I did walk-in since it was super last min. It took about 2 1/2 hrsThey ask if youd like to leave a contact number for when your phone is ready so you dont have to sit there the whole time. They are very thorough when testing if everything works the way it should before they give it back to you and they are Samsung certified. You have 90 days to return if the fix is having any issues too.
Very nice people inside and good customer service but after 1 week the replacement screen started coming off at the top. Brought it back and they fixed it. A few months later same thing happened and the screen stopped responding. By then it was out of warranty and they wanted me to pay all over again with a 10% discount. So now I have a useless Samsung S5. I wish I had sent it to Samsung repair for the same money and a bit of a longer wait.
Dylan was great! I was there with a broken screen for my daughters iPhone 6s& left 40 minutes later with it working like new and was also given a discounted price for screen protector & otterbox case. If I ever have any issue with my phones or tabs Id go out of my way to come back here again.
My nieces iPhone fell apart in her hands after getting the glass replaced period when taking back to have it fixed they tried to charge $100 in change and then they said the proximity sensor was damaged and they forgot to mention it the last time they fixed the glass and then turned and tried to charge for that which seemed like a crock however there was a compromise made and only half price was charged after repairing it for a second time who they were Im not sure if they were issues with a thin however to iPad that would take him there to be repaired as well the glass started coming off the home buttons did not work they have to be returned they did repair it again free of charge because it was negligence on their behalf and once again the glass started to come off, it was taken back a third time and it was repaired just recently all this occurred since then have not had any issues with the iPad or the iPhone but it has not been a week yet we shall see. Originally the service was good but then after the first visit it went downhill I am highly disappointed with how they do their work in addition to that I am highly disappointed with how they handle their errors they tried to charge for their mistakes one of the Reps however actually two of their reps were very good and handled the situation well its the higher up in the chain the rep who handled issue when we came back was willing to work with us he eventually got his manager because the store manager was requested so as not to put him in a predicament it was not his fault he was trying to work so I gave him his credit for that I wish I could remember his name so I can stated here however I would not recommend this particular store not at this time they do have other chains but the one in Rockville Centre I would not recommend not at this time I think they need a total retraining for whoever detects are in charge of repairs as well as better customer relations with more of their employees starting with the store manager. As if that wasnt bad enough at a later date and iPad was taken there to get the glass replaced and a few days later the home key fell off and was stuck between the glass and the screen. It seems everything they fix falls apart a day or two after I would not recommend this place.
Average price for iPhone 6 repair. But truly a sloppy job.I came in a couple weeks ago to get my iPhone 6 screen replaced. I paid an average price and as an out of towner I really needed it.My flight was the next night so I need it done as soon as possible and they did it it within a couple hours.All that was great, but when I got my phone back I realized it was making a clicking noise when I would put pressure to the screen.Since I had to catch a flight I didnt really have time so I just left it as is, two weeks later, drop my phone and the screen is cracked.I dropped it on a soft surface and its still shattered, so Im disappointed. Feels like a waste of money really, it was.
Have had many Apple products fixed there. Dropped off daughters I phone 6, it would go dark (but still work) If you google it, it is common, and caused by loose wire. I bought it in, tech took it in back for 10 seconds, said I need a new screen. I questioned him, he said that was it. I said screen always worked, and as you can see no scratches.He was the pro, so I did as he said. Phone went take one day later.Went back, new tech said loose screw, took him 2 minutes was fixed.Third time first ten said must be a defective screen, he replaced it againFourth time, tech said he could give a 50% refundI asked for a full credit (knowing i would be back sometime)He said to get a full credit, HE WOULD HAVE TO PUT ON A BROKEN SCREEN FROM THE BACK. MY SCREEN DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED IN THE FIRST PLACESO for a FULL REFUND I WOULD HAVE HAVE HIM PUT ON SOMEONES BROKEN SCREEN> SO NOW I WOULD HAVE TWO PROBLEMS ONE CAUSED BY UBREAK IFIX..HE SAID YES> I WANTED MY APPLE SCREEN BACK< HE SAID THEY SENT IT BACK.SO if you have a problem, I wish you luck, the place does not live up to there 90- day guarantee . I was referred to this location after cracking the screen on my HTC phone. Aside from the broken glass the phone and touchscreen worked perfectly. Also the condition of the phone was excellent as it has always been in a case. They did the repair in about 40 mins at a cost of $99 but the clerk told me the new glass had a scratch on it. My options were they could order a new one or discount the repair by 5%. However aside from the scratch I immediately noticed a few things. My screen was not nearly as sharp and bright as it had been. Almost as though there was a film left on the glass. I also noticed when the screen was off I could see a grid behind the glass that was never there before. Lastly, the 4 buttons along the bottom of the phone would now light up pink instead of red. Since he had already owned up to the scratch and offered to replace the glass again, I agreed in the hopes that I had just gotten a defective screen. The man I dealt with was professional, apologetic and assured me he would call as soon as he received the new glass. I made sure to mention that I wanted OEM glass, as I had done before the first repair, and again he assured me it would be.After 2 weeks of not hearing from them I returned for a status on the new screen. Turns out they had it but Id never received a call. This time I dealt with a woman who took the phone and asked me to return in about 40 mins. After about 90 mins the phone was ready but now the screen was slightly skewed (imagine a photo sitting crooked in a frame). I showed this to her but she refused to acknowledge there was anything wrong...going so far as to say that what I was complaining about was impossible. I kept trying to show her but she wasnt interested in taking a closer look. I then asked her directly if she could see what I was talking about and she said no. She simply was not going to admit to another mistake. Her only defense was to say repeatedly that the repair had been done twice and that what I was complaining about couldnt possibly happen due to how the screen gets installed. Except it did happen. I could see the situation going nowhere so I left.Once I got home and had a chance to closely examine the work I found additional issues. The bottom of the screen all the way across is actually brighter than the rest. Especially obvious in photos or whenever colors at the bottom of the screen run upwards. Also, there is a black substance visible behind the glass just protruding onto the bottom of the viewable screen...maybe some type of adhesive. Lastly there is damage to the bottom bezel of the phone where Im assuming a pry tool was used.In the interest of fairness Im giving a second star solely for the professionalism shown by the man I dealt with on the first visit. He was courteous and did own up to the scratch instead of saying nothing and hoping I would walk out without noticing it. Unfortunately for me, he did not assist me on the second visit and for what I paid, the quality of work and overall experience was not on par with some of the other reviews Ive read. Bottom line is they can likely replace the screen on any device that has one but be warned....dont be surprised if there are additional costs beyond what you paid for the repair. Businesses specializing in these types of repairs are everywhere now. Find another.
I cracked my asus touch screen and went here to get it fixed. I got a price estimate over the phone and I went into the store to get a time and offical price. The told me 2-3 days. It took over a week to get the part in. The worse part is each day i called and was told it will be in tomorrow, which wasnt the case. when the part came in it took about an hour to fix, which I was pleased about, but alittle under a month of having this repair I have realized that half the touch screen doesnt even work! My main use is using the mouse, but I am annoyed because I paid more money for a touch screen. Also the physical screen has these xs that you can see if looking at a white page, and the physical screen is popping out of the corners. The reason I give it two stars is because of the quality of the screen, the time it took to get the part, and the money I spent specifically for a touch screen, when only half of it works. The staff was kind and helpful and I feel that they did the best to their abilities, which is why i didnt give it one star
Had shattered my iPad2 screen - called uBreakiFix - spoke to Danielle, very pleasant and professional. Brought it in to have glass replaced, was told it would take about 90 minutes and they would call me - sure enough 90 minutes later, Danielle called and my repair was done. Would definitely recommend to other folks in need of iPad, iPhone, etc. repairs.
Cracked my galaxy S8 screen the other day and brought it to this ubreakifix location. They had the screen in stock and was able to get it repaired in 2 hours. Decent prices compared to the other shops but keep in mind the Galxy is a $750 phone. One thing I learned is that Ubreakifix is a Samsung authorized repair location. They use Only OEM parts and even comes with a 90 day warranty. If you dont have insurance like me and damage your phone, bring it to them.

What a great place! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and most of all it saves you a trip to the dreaded Apple store!! They were thorough with the evaluation and upfront about their pricing!!! I will be back if needed and tell everyone about this great service!!
They suck.. I brought my phone in with a cracked screen that still lit up and worked as-is.... they said it would take a few hours.. a few hours later they said they needed to the next day.. the next day they said the screen they put on didnt work and needed to order another one..then 3 days later they said they put the new one on and couldent get the phone to work anymore.. and I needed to buy a new phone.. worker behind the counter says it happends all the time and its not there problem.. maybe you should give a heads up before hand if thats the case...
Chris and the staff were Amazing at this location! I went to the New Hyde Park location and the did not answer the phone, and left me hanging, I went to this location and not only were the professional and courteous but totally understanding. If you need something fixed or advice, this is the location!
I dont know if its because Im black but I drop my phone off at 615 pm was told that if I had drop off my phone before noon I would have got it back the same day so I left my phone over night call in the morning to see if my phone was ready was told I have to wait until 620 pm and if I dont like it I should come get my phone and find somewhere else to get it fix this will be my last time ever giving them any business whatsoever 230 pm got a call the one screen that we had is not calibrating with your phone you have to wait until another day so 2 days to get one screen replace
They have good serviceSo this is what happened my phone screen was bulging out so my dad took it there to get it fixed it was bulging because the battery was like a balloon so the place changed it so now my phone looks normal now but whenever I use my phone it is always glitching and It has been glitching ever since I got it fixed it’s been like more than a year now that it been glitching like thatI’m mean yeah they have good service but they make u pay 200 dollars for a crappy “fix”

2022-07-30I do not usually write reviews but I think management should know what is happening and also to warn customers regarding incompetence of the front desk person. I went to have my daughter’s phone that went dead and can’t be charged. The person in the desk looked at it, cleaned the port with a tool, blew air it and tried charging it. As soon as he verified that it is not charging he right away told me that the screen or the battery has to be changed. He told me the screen is $170 and the battery is around$100. I decided to see my options with T mobile so i left. In T Mobile the guy was more professional and he started checking the phone. After he tried cleaning the port he also tried charging it. When nothing happened, he tried charging it REMOTELY and it worked.He said that the problem is the charging port and not the screen or the battery.How can the person in charge of analyzing phones in your business not know this?! Is this his way of making more money or he is just not trained to do his job well?In both cases, i find this experience very unacceptable.

2022-07-09Please work on getting more staff and another computer at the front desk. Only one person at the front desk, while many customers wait to be helped. We waited 30 minutes just to pick up our item.The receipt quality is very poor. It cannot be read with the naked eye. Your employee used a magnifying glass to read it.Other than that your employee service was great.

2022-05-29Went in for a Samsung repair at around 1pm. They said that the phone would be ready in 2-3 hours… 6pm comes around and the phone is still not ready. We called and said that it would be ready within the hour.. 7 pm we walk in and they say to us 10 minutes… we waited around until 8pm for them to tell us they had done nothing to our phone. Very very upsetting. Had to give us the phone back because we have a trip in the morning in which we are unable to use maps because the phone is still broken. Should’ve told us to go somewhere else so we wouldn’t be stranded on our trip. So disappointing. Do not leave your phone with them.

2022-05-18Horrible! Made me wait almost 3 hours to tell me they did not have the screen for my phone. I took my phone and left and made an appointment with the Jericho location. Jericho was way more professional. They do confirmation calls and touch base with me to ensure they had the part for me. Sad thing, there was another lady that was there 8 hours all the way from Brooklyn. Stop wasting people time. If you dont have the parts, just say so.

2022-07-25Poor customer service. They fixed a phone screen, but broke a speaker while they did. Took the phone back in the next day to get the speaker fixed. They called saying the phone was ready, we get there to pick it up, but the phone wasn’t ready. They called about an order that wasn’t ours. When I asked for compensation or a discount on the $300 dollar screen the staff got really short with me basically saying none of what happened was their fault. They told us the phone will be ready by 7pm. It wasn’t. Do yourself a favor and get it fixed somewhere else!!

2022-08-12I dropped my pc desktop for a check on Sunday afternoon, and the person in the front desk told me it will take 24 to 48 hr to get a call back to see what was the issue. I manifested that I dont have problem for paying extra money yo give me priority since I used my pc for work, but he said they will call me back. I called next day (monday) and they said to call back again the next day around 7 pm, so I waited, and I decided to go until Wednesday to see the status, the store manager told me that the pc is still in process and I told him that I would like to pay priority because is really important for me, he said they work by priority and they have a lot of products from Google and Samsung and basically he told me that Im not a priority even if I pay. He said he will call me at the end of the day, never happened, so next day I decided to go and pick up my computer after 3 1/2 days of waiting and trying to pay for priority. I took my product to another store and in less the 24 hours I had my pc fixed. Its really unprofessional the way ubreak fix from rvc lied to me cause they made me waste my time when in many time I offered to pay priority.

Basically it was sitting on their table for a month and they couldnt figure out whats wrong with it. Called twice a week every week and heard same thing over and over. Had a Convo with the manager and instead of answering me, he became defensive. Theyre only excuse is Im not the technician who worked on your device. Dont waste your time here

I wanted to buy an accessory and he quoted me two different prices, is he making the prices up?Find another outlet to fix your phone. Oh and let me add the home button no longer works! 2022-07-31When in for a ps5 controller repair and the service was very poor. They said they would call me with no answer back at all from anyone at any given point for an entire week. When I finally got my controller back it somehow came back WORSE than when I first brought it in. You guys traded one problem (controller stick drift) for another (face buttons no longer functioning). All this AFTER you guys told me you guys tested it. I mean do you guys ever even touched a controller? I want my money back on top of a free repair and I expect it to fixed the same day!
