Always a pleasure! My husbands favorite place to grocery shop.
This is a fantastic store ..you can walk in there and get lost for hours !!!! Then you will realize how filled your shopping cart is with all their delicious offerings ..Where doni start ..Buy there fresh made pizza delicious. Deep dish is our favorite just the right amount of sauce nd not too much cheese price is right tooo ..the grandma pie is just as good ..they make hero took delicious ,!! Walk over to the deli WOW..Its a party your mouth starts to water nd want to try a little of everything do so or youll miss out ..they make a great cold hero again price is perfect ..their roast beef is amazing ..after that walk over to the cheese section ..fresh mozzarella nd barotta OMG ..their cheese assortment is fantastic ..try something different each time you go. In..Home made pasta wow ..love their fresh manicotti ..they make a great lasagna nd many other fresh take home meals .rice balls eggplant ohhh my ...fried chicken amazing in their hot food section..walk to the back for their meat ..nd then their fish section everything is so fresh .their lamb beef are amazing along with everything else .then walk around through the isles of canned Italian specialties .nd over to produce so fresh nd last but not least the bakery YUM ..Just enjoy your visit nd try something new nd then some ...have fun !!!!!!

So I think someone from the store should consider taking care of the scammers in the parking lot… it’s an offense to ppl who truly play violin and an aspersion of ppl who appreciate art work with their emotions invested.

You like food shopping? If so go here ASAP. I go slow down the deli isle because I want to buy one of each item 🤣. Store has great selection and lots of fresh ready to cook and ready to re-heat meals for busy people. A must goto store for Italian and other regular grocery foods. If you get distracted easily, then allot plenty of time for your shopping trip.
I recently catered a dinner party from the Melville location. The food was delicious and the catering folks were very helpful. There was a bit of confusion with my payment as I had called in and left a credit card number, but they had lost it. No problem at all, charged me at pickup.The problem came a few days later. I came back to see if I could return an unopened six pack of beer from the party. Upon reaching the customer service desk, I was not greeted by the two rudest employees I have ever met. Without asking me why I was at customer service, they employee yelled at me to Go to line 1 to pay for my beer. Upon explaining that I would like to return the beer and not buy it, the manager behind her yelled you cant return alcohol. Literally the only two sentences they deigned to say to me. Perhaps they should have looked above their heads at the sign, because this was anything but customer service. Considering I had just spent several hundred dollars on catering, you think a bit of politeness could be mustered.
The seeded Italian bread, available in the bakery section is superior. The Italian PASTRIES are great, cannolli, etc. Had a cherry tart, very artificial tasting with few cherries, not so good. Macaroons are tough and hard. Olive bread sold in small plastic boxes looked good, was too heavy with moisture, not so good either. Manicotti are wonderful with your favorite sauce, a five star winner. Overall a great store.

My FAVORITE place to shop when Im on Long Island. Their hot buffet bar is the BEST Ive ever had, especially the eggplant parm. Hey Uncle Giuseppe you should consider coming to the West coast. Specifically SoCal LA. Wink, wink...
My husband said, “I love this supermarket!”, these words have never left his mouth before! The singer, Neil Dankman, was fantastic. He was charismatic, great voice, and kind. He was a great addition to the store. We were dancing through the whole store. It was a wonderful and fun shopping experience!

The Deli section is always stocked with new and delicious items with a clean presentation. The whole store is extremely clean, well lit and well stocked. They have all different mini-stores inside including deli, pizza, candy, cheese, fish, butcher, bakery, and coffee sections all with their own professional and extremely knowledgeable staff. One of the best markets Ive been to and pre-covid they even had a live singer walking around the store singing oldies, etc.
Great cheese dept, chocolates galore as well as many delicious prepared dinners and deli take out. Fresh veggies and fruits are great. Pizza and sushi freshly prepared on premises. Their meat dept has the best available and fish is always fresh. So much to choose from...I drive 30 minutes to shop in the Melville store.
If Stew Leonards and an Italian market had a baby, it would be this store! Go on a Sunday for a real experience including live music. Not your average market - its hard not to grab a million things.The cheese selection is massive! Lots of lactose free options. Fresh pasta section is great.I wish I had more time to walk around the whole store!

First of this wasnt my first time shopping here but for thanksgiving my daughter requested a Tiramisu cake and uncle Giuseppes is her favorite. I had the cake many times but this time it was awful. Nobody ate it including the guests. It was dry the filling and the frosting felt like eating FAT (Crisco or butter). Lady fingers were not soaked in coffee the coffee flavor was in the filling and the frosting. I tried to convince everybody that it wasnt that bad but I got the same answer. It was a bad cake. Dry and very poor quality. It went to the trash with one piece missing that also went to the trash and it was embarrassing to say the least.
All the Italian goodies you need in one stop, fresh pasta is awesome.its pricey, but you get what you paid for.

The employees especially the managers need better training. I go to this market on a regular basis. Yet, 9 OCT 2021 I was questioned three times on the price of two beverages. Then a young female manager came over and questioned but doubted the price I gave her. It is your store. Be a professional. Check the prices yourself and dont rely on the customers. If you are going to ask the customer the price then do not embarass the customer as if they are lieing. Stop the ignorance. Treat all customers the same!
Easy to see right off of Route 110 servicing Farmingdale and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. We will definitely be going back.

Lots of expired items. Deli cheese molded and was still given to me. Bread being sold molded. Cashiers need retraining, very rude. If your going to hire workers in the bakery department make sure they know English so they can communicate with customers. Definitely a language barrier at the bakery and meat department. Price errors on several items. Spoke to manager no resolution. Will contact corporate and department of health.
Great place to visit for your food needs
Uncle Giuseppes is very over priced. Lots of Italian specifics which is great but wow.. I can go to Westbury and find most of the items on the shelf for half off. Though its normally very crowded its still, very over priced.I will say, the bread is pretty well made and the pastries look / cakes being made are decent for a grocery store.

Stopped in for a quick bottle of diet soda . didnt shop for anything else . Have to go back for a complete review . Cashier was very nice to work with , thanked me for shopping there and have a good day was a great touch as I finished my transaction . The store looks well stocked , and the prepared food section was fully stocked with wraps , and other items ready to eat .Plenty of parking out front , Traffic light at the entrance makes for easy access . :-)
A bit pricey but quality is up there. You get what you pay for.
I would normally rate UG very high. However, I purchased a pound of cooked extra large shrimp ($28), from the Huntington location, that was absolutely rotten. When I got home and opened the tied plastic bag the odor was horrendous. Since I live rather far from UG I threw the shrimp out. I had to take the bag of garbage out of the house due to the overpowering smell. Incredibly disappointed. Wont be going back.

How do I begin this tale? Uncle Giuseppes is the land of the $7 meatball. Theyve got some really nice food here but its very highly priced and theyre aimed straight at the luxury SUV crowd that lives nearby in Huntington and Melville and all that. So take off a star if my neighbors annoying you takes away from your shopping experience. Frankly I try very hard to laugh at them, especially the extremely self-conscious ones. And they know Im laughing. :-)
To expensive. Use cheaper biodegradable containers. They get thrown out anyway.Your store will become more cost effective to all the people that like the store. But can only rarely afford you.
Everything you want to eat is here. Its clean organized packaged so you can see what you getting. The people employed are friendly they make a nice shopping experience.

Grocery store is an under statement of this oasis of food, cheese, bread, butcher, market, bakery, florist, coffee bar, and the list goes on!!! Once you shop here its hard to go to any other grocery store again.
What do you do when you want munchies, but have no idea what?? Go to Uncle Giuseppes. The choices are amazing. We walked out with tomatoe/mozzarella, shrimp, a rotisserie chicken, and potato wedges. So many choices, enough to satisfy any craving.

Very nice store and good location in North Babylon. Great place to stop for a ready made meal, like after work or to order for a special occasion, holiday, etc. Layout is similar to the melville location. Food and items are well stocked and it always smells delicious when you walk inside. I love Uncle Giuseppes and I love that this one is close by!
Had Uncle G cater a meal for us and it was phenomenal.
What can I say? Absolutely delicious and clean but certainly pricey.
Uncle Gs has some nice sections such as frequently maintained hot and cold food trays to select your dinner from, different kinds of salad and precut fruit bars, a huge deli section across from store-length shelves of pre-packaged fresh meals, and various homemade pastas and sauces.There is a decent sized bakery, and an office where you can place pickup personalized cake, dessert, and food tray orders for home parties. The staff is courteous and very helpful although over the past year three times Ive seen a manager (not regular staff) taking an item off the shelf, open it, and eat it after tearing up the wrapper.The biggest problem is that although it may be a step or two up from an average supermarket, I dont see the justification for the extremely high prices. The shelves are not as organized as they should be and the overall store layout is difficult and not easy to glide through and find things. Someone needs to re-do the floor plan so it doesnt look like a King Kullen with a few (almost) dead ends and maze-like sections where you dont expect them, and inventory needs to be increased with varied specialty products that would explain some of the high pricing. For example,, the same exact yogurts at Target are double the price at Uncle Gs.If you are going to spend the money and have extra time, go to the other places that give more for your money.

Abondanza! The Melville/South Huntington store on Rte 110 is absolutely fabulous. The selection of food specialties, butcher meats, cheese, deli, pizza, sushi, and pastry is by far superior to your average supermarket ( Stop & Shop, King Kullen, Shop Rite etc.) You can get lost in a cocofony of aromas and visual delights as you roam the store. A definite go to for your next (food) grocery order.
We go there every Wednesday for their walnut chicken salad and potato salad. Just delicious!!

Uncle G’s is frickin awesome. This store is wayyyy better then any of their other locations. All their store brand products taste amazing, their fruits and veggies are fresh, the bakery smells amazing, their pre packaged food is DELICIOUS. Let’s not forget to talk about how beautifully decorated the store is around Christmas and how awesome staff is. I do however wish they lowered the store music volume just a tad lol

Spectacular! I would live in the cheese aisle quite happily. Unfortunately I live in Phoenix so I will have to settle for a visit whenever I come to Long Island.
The store is beautiful, but the quality of food was disappointing. I’ve shopped at both Smithtown and Melville Uncle G’s and was hoping the food would be on par with those locations but it was not. Pre packaged foods and deli section did not taste fresh. Will return, but only for select items.

2022-03-04Excellent place for prepared foods, fresh pastas, produce cheeses. Fantastic bakery better than almost all freestanding ones. I mean, really, you can go just for the bakery. Meat department is good, fish market is so-so.

2022-02-28If youre looking for a bargain you might want to shop somewhere else. The quality of their produce, prepared meals, hot dishes, and bakery products is excellent. I believe I more than get my moneys worth. I forgot to mention the great butcher and seafood section. Everything is fresh and the store is very clean. I just wish it was closer!
