OMG! Awesome! Great, fresh food- Italian, salads, dinners, seafood, desserts, etc. made & packaged for individuals. A bit pricey, but soo good! A good assortment!
Grocery shopping and catering from Uncle Giuseppes is always great and exceeds expectations. Weve catered many parties from then and our guests always rave about the food. Delivery Id always prompt and they are very generous in supplying you everything you need including sternos and racks for hot food. The price is great and the quality even better. I would highly recommend catering from here! We got a 10 inch round cake that was HUGE! Portions are incredibly generous and tasty!
Its a great family friendly place , I love it and the hard workers who help us plus theres always entertainment inside and outside, obviously because of the pandemic there was a great guy , @RyanDelaney plus I will add the wonderful food an water I bought as well..xoxo
Its hard to beat Uncle Giuseppes for all things Italian. Even their pizza and other prepared foods range from better than average to exceptional. The range and selection of their other foods including but not limited to meats, cheeses, pastas, oils, cold cuts, olives, fresh items, hard to find specialty items, ad infinitum are mind boggling. Did I forget to mention those pastries? They scored a goal with this place!! Very highly recommended!
The dream market for Italians and lovers of Italian food and specialties. After spending two months abroad in Italy for culinary school, I missed having such specialties around. The store is immaculate, clean, tidy, well-kept, and the staff is so kind.

Pricey (and recently crazy pricey) and not always consistent. The sauce is great, but the chicken cutlets can be good or so bad u might not be able to eat them. The vegetables are usually good, but the baked goods can be stale. I hate to pay the highest prices and still not be satisfied...

Uncle Gs is the spot to get all of your fresh food. I go to uncle Gs whenever I want fresh deli hot food. The selection is outstanding and always delicious. Try the chicken parm or the Philly cheesesteak. They have fresh salads with toppings like fresh grilled shrimp or a chef salad. Stop in for a meal you can take home, heat up and enjoy with your family or by yourself.
Best supermarket anywhere and you can eat your lunch there too.
Uncle Guiseppes has pretty good pizza. The Sicilian is my favorite and has more flavor and cheese than their regular pizzas.
I never though shopping could be magical but going on a Sunday afternoon, getting fresh mozzarella and garlic bread while listening to live music, smelling fresh popped popcorn and watching them making homemade chocolate, its like an Italian dinner version of willy wonka
I normally have good things to say about stores I love but this location has to have some of the most unfriendly help I’ve seen. I’ve asked questions and have been stared at with no response more than once. Certainly not saying everyone is like this but any means but it’s happened enough to knock down the rating a couple of notches. Everything else otherwise is great ! Products are wonderful and I love the bakery.

Absolutely the nicest Uncle Gs I have ever been to. Ive shopped at several of their locations in Nassau county . This one has a nice variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and a section to sit and eat. Staff very nice as well
Not very economical, but I like the taste. Sometimes its good to purchase some items on sale. I Like the decor and the arrangements with the food . A bit out of the ordinary in respect to supermarkets, creating a more welcoming environment.

I dont know what they did to change their sushi but its awful now. Ive been buying it there for 6 years and its always been surprisingly good for a grocery store. They recently changed all of it and its terrible. The fish is no longer fresh. It all has a terribly fishy smell. Its a shame because their sushi was something I enjoyed every week. I cant get over how bad the new stuff is
Great selection of store made prepared foods, store made pasta, sauce, store made mozzarella, fresh cut meats, awesome bakery.
I go here about twice a month and usually love it. However today when I went a lot of the food was past its sell by date. Ive never had a problem like that in this store before. The prepackaged sandwiches were past their sell by date as well as quite a few of the prepared foods like eggplant and chicken Parm. Ill give it another chance in a couple weeks but if its like this it will be my last time.

I have always had wonderful reviews on this places food except this visit. I bought a rainbow cookie platter on my way to a gathering with friends. Everyone at the gathering went for these cookies. Unfortunately they were stale and hard. They were so dry they flaked apart. Everyone was so disappointed. Also, I went to a party recently that was catered by this company. The food is way to over-salted. Most people at the party of 40 people said the same. Not impressed especially for the prices.

After being denied service due the no cash policy a month ago at the Chipotle , i came here to look for vegan things, and i was very happy, just wished there werea little bit mor vegan things like pastries, quick meals, bakery, that aside i loved the variety, thanks for taking my cash when Chipotle didnt

Wonderful market, steam table dishes excellent especially egg plant parmegiana & meat balls. Fantastic deli. Freshest vegetables around for February. Worth my 1/2 hour drive. There are a few Long Island locations

You got to love this place! For covid they are extra clean and safe. The prices are a tad higher but it keeps the supermarket classy and a little less crowded than the big guys. Theyre prepared foods are sometimes not my favorite but they have a great meat and cheese selection along with other groceries.
This place is amazing, - a true celebration of life. They have everything you can think of for your family dinner,- like at your Italian grandparents house, with fresh homegrown tomatoes and orchard ripe fruit, big choice of oils and sauses, natural fresh and dry meats. There is plenty of ready to eat salads, sandwiches, sushi, as well as huge choice of baked breads and deserts. Coffee is served right there too, like a cherry on top of your shopping experience. Highly recommended 👍 🇮🇹
I bought 5 different “Dinner for 2” prepared meals from the Port Jeff store. All you can taste is SALT in all the prepared meals I bought. Spent a lot of money on these meals…very disappointed.
Today I had a cashier who wouldnt put in the card for me first time since September. So I put the stuff back and I will give my money to someone else. 2nd time I had a not so pleasant shopping experience at this store. Not sure why its a problem all of a sudden but they just lost a few thousand dollars because of this one persons decision. Goodbye and good luck.
I didnt find everything I wanted and the frozen veggies section wasnt completely stocked so I had to change my choices. I have had their Thanksgiving catered several times ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It is an experience you must try.
Love the sights, smells, and sounds. Helpful personnel, delicious premade foods and cheeses, great deli counter. Lots of hard to find imported oils, vinegars, and other cooking/baking supplies. Wish the aisles were a little more symmetrical, though. They may be set up like that on purpose, so that you have to weave in and out and go all around, in order to expose you to all their products and keep you in the store longer. One less star for high prices on many items and for aisle setup. Food and atmosphere makes it worth it, though.
Great produce and fruit with a large and varied selection. The bakery has outstanding products but are, for the most part, huge. Good for a party or big family. The selection of fish, meat and cheese are excellent. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is always helpful. If you havent been here, go! Its a great shopping experience. Thier prepared foods offer a large selection although I havent tried any so cant comment on taste or quality.

Took friends on a tour that they were taking pictures of the wall of olives and pastas and they thought serving plates from italy not china! FANTASTIC! Gelato yummy, candy smooth, prepared foods exceptional

An employee was my myself for assistance with some long stemed sunflowers and rudely ignored me as he looked me square in face to add insult to injury. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Lucky for the incompetent employee I dont remember who he was!!
Great store. Always go cause Im not really a cook and my kids love the premade trays they have that go straight in the oven to heat up. Place has an assortment of sushi too if you like that. Great deli with large displays of food. Nice seafood area of you like that as well. Overall great place but very expensive i shop and its an easy 100$$$. But its cheaper than a restaurant. Try it. Just walk around youll be surprised at what you find. The bakery makes delicious bread and cake too.

Love love love this place!! Am amazing variety of delicious Italian food ready to take home and just heat up! They even have fresh hot pizza on the spot. Plus a great selection of fresh pasta and sauces, a huge cheese section with tasty samples, a salad bar, sushi bar, hot soups, an incredible bakery and gelato station plus its also a grocery store! Friendly workers and live music on the weekends! Who could ask for more??❤️

This is my favorite place to food shop. Everything is so very good. I absolutely love their cheese shop. Their deli is crazy good. Their pizza is very good by the slice or full pies. Their meat, fish and bakery shops are just top quality. The fresh produce area is clean and well stocked. You will spend more money than at a chain supermarket but the stuff is the next level up. It is like food Disneyland. Their are specialty items that you can only get here. Service is very good. I had to return something and was treated very well. Their is a candy shop that is very good. They also have a sushi area but I know little of it. They have a very good beer selection. Parking is plentiful. I love it.
Tina at customer service went above and beyond to make sure my flowers looked extra special before they were delivered by Instacart. I appreciated that very much!!

The most outstanding supermarket I have ever been in. Neat clean, great customer. Healthy food. Freshly prepared food. Variety of foods. Sushi bar! I cant say enough. You have to go there and be pleasantly overwhelmed as I was.

Every food you can think of at a very fair price to include a full time awesome Pizza place within as well as seafood, sushi, bakery, deli like no other one on earth etc.. take many meals home, heat up briefly and PERFECTION! Go here and you will never go anywhere else! It is Great!
We went the weekend of Mothers day they had an entertainer singing as soon as walked through the door wishing all women happy mothers day thats just the beginning. Very clean store employees very helpful out going. The fish and meat department were clean and staff was great!! The bakery another great area and the chocolates and specialty area too. Love the store when I go back to visit my family we are always shopping there!!
Went there to take out premade food for Valentines day. The Penne Alla Vodka w/Chicken cutlet($16.99), tasted fine, but only contained 6, yes 6 small chunks of chicken. The jumbo shrimp platter in a red plastic heart, held 24 over cooked shrimp, and a very sweet cocktail sauce, for get this, $29.99! I only noticed the price when I got home, gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that they would be great, for that price, only to be very annoyed at being ripped off.
I great store, but pricey, not an every week shopping trip. Their housemade sauces are excellent, highly recommend the vodka sauce. Great bakery and a large selection of cheeses. The mozzarella is house made. Worth the trip!
I am becoming increasingly obsessed with this store.... Between the pizza place, the hot buffet, the bakery, and all the different departments, plus the overall cleanliness and uniqueness of this supermarket, it is the best store!!! Some of the stuff is a little expensive but they have sales just like any other store. They have all this fresh stuff, pasta, cheese, gelato, etc, that is consistently delicious. The entire staff is nice, polite, clean, and helpful, which you dont get at a lot of supermarkets. This has become my go to.
Good but pricey. However I did have issues with freshness. Bought mozzarella rice balls and mold developed a day before the sell by date so I havent gotten breaded items from the deli counter since then. They mail coupons occasionally so it may spur you to shop there but sure there are less expensive grocery shopping options

Never have to go hunting for a cart, store staff very helpful. I am handicapped and store staff approached me several to ask if I needed help finding anything. Of course the appetizer display was to die for as well as the meat department, and forget the bakery department. If you were not hungry when you walked in the store you were when walked out. In a worse case scenario there is a sit down place to have a snack there. Parking usually rather easy. Handicapped spaces, clearly marked all round a good spot to shop. Can be a bit pricey so know your prices.

God, I love this place. You have to see this place, to shop here. The cheese section alone is worth the trip, as is the bakery and the deli. great selection of authentic, imported Italian foods. And the butcher, the meat Dept...my gosh, that place is heavenly. Check out the candy counter and gelato selection. The produce us first rate, too.Its like a trip to Little Italy.
Great selection of home-made foods and desserts but is a bit pricey. However, this is the perfect place to go to get everything you need to entertain or for their amazing cheeses and pepperoni!
A very pricey specialty market but also very high quality products and service. Staff is always friendly and ready to help, the prepared food is just so delicious and fresh, the produce is always top notch, meat & seafood departments are clean and and offer excellent cuts and catches, and they have a cheese counter that you can sample from before committing to the purchase.

A very nice looking super market. Pizza place inside with a cold and hot food bar. Fresh made sushi. Other prepared food. The pizza is slightly below the average quality in the area, but its pretty cheap per slice.Everything else in the store is very expensive though. Not a place to get good deal and sales. But I guess its fine if you have the money to burn.

Great meat and fish market. Wonderful atmosphere. My only gripe is the homemade artichokes behind counter arent good at all. Dry..no garlic...crumbs fall off as soon as you move artichoke. Its like an artichoke with bread crumbs just thrown on topIll give you my recepe if you like 😋Ill give you my receipt
Love this store. Both for groceries and already prepared meals. The fresh pasta is AMAZING. Long Island doesnt have Eataly but Uncle G is the place to go if youre looking for something comparable and on a smaller scale
This store is well stocked, clean, has a helpful and polite staff. During such a grim time, the atmosphere inside is a pleasant escape. Its the only store I am comfortable shopping in.

Uncle Gs is a little pricey but the quality and selection is good. Overall, the mix of stores in the Plaza is very good. Gilshar is very good. CVS ,Petco, Ace Hardware and PJ Cinemas are great assets in a local setting
This place is fantastic! As soon as you walk in there is so much to see.. an smell!! Reminds me growing up in NYC as a child! They even have a guy walking around singing!! wow!! They have such an enormous selection of everything, cheeses. olives, pastas, bread and more. Sampling is a must!! Have to say, plan on spending some money!! You cant stop buying and we walked out with 3 bags of groceries and spent $200...

Go there its the best place to buy Italian, better than the Famous Arthur Ave. A lot of the canned foods are from Italy, and the selection is unbeleveable. pricey yes, but hen you get the very, very best, that what you should expect. Best part for me was the people behind the count were happy Italians laughing and kidding around just like all Italians do.
Pretty expensive but.... The store is always spotless, staff always friendly, the best selection of cheese and beer anywhere near me, produce is always fresh and delicious. I think its worth it.
Uncle Yu seppis has the best Italian food around. I love all the home cooked meals the best. If your shopping dont go hungry because you will buy a lot of good food. Prices are high but the quality is there. Fast checkout never had a problem. All the cashiers are very polite. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Has everything and then some that Im looking for when Im going to the market. Meats and produce are of extremely high quality. Cant ask for a better selection of fresh bread. Adding all of the other departments serving their products of the highest quality makes Uncle Gs my one and only go to store.
Very diligent about PPE and sanitizing. Was a little crowded, but lines outside were appreciated. Stop & Shop was madhouse. Ungle G had all cashiers open...in & out. And of course great food, Beatiful store.

The hot food offerings and the hot soups are as good as homemade. The deli has an amazing variety of very good food. We shop there often. Especially when we dont feel or have the time to cook.

If your buying anything but fruits this place is great.Twice I have gotten bad fruits, first one being bananas with worms in it(fresh from the store and looked fine) and a whole bag of apples I picked myself that look and smell great, but are brown and nasty on the inside.
We dont purchase staples there . But willing to pay extra for quality vegitables and meats . And cheeses ( Large selections )
I am disappointed we always go to Uncle Gs we like to shop and have dinner at the store . On arriving the produce section was not stocked and a mess also the salad bar was empty to make your own it was 6:15Pm working people are still coming in to eat and shop . When l asked the deli man whats up he even said its so early and asked someone if they where going to restock the salad bar . The hot trays that was there were empty and old very dry looking like its been out all day and not attended too. We left disappointed and did not shop. I will go back to Uncle Gs sometime in the future. I hope the right people read this post . l have always been a big Fan of this store. I hope this was just a off day for this store .
Uncle Giuseppes is amazing for their prepared foods and authentic Italian meals. They do have some higher prices than other places but it is justified due to the quality.
Always great for an easy dinner and while not always consistent they are the best Italian supermarket but not equal to an Italian butcher or pork store
They take cards now!!!! Man that took a long time, but the pizza was worth needing to hit the ATM. Some of the best pizza around in my opinion.
All I can say is try the lasagna. Any one of them because they have options. Better than any Italian restaurant Ive ever been to. Absolutely amazing. Fantastico.
I love Uncle Giuseppes. Whats not to love... Except.. The food is mostly incredible. The prices are often in the high scale. The pizza is great but the pricing keeps rising on that. The catering leaves so much to be desired. We had a double graduation party catered by them. The food was not Giuseppes standards. The cake was a complete disaster. The writing on the cake was wrong and horrifically written. They failed to bring some items. The cake was supposed to be a picture cake and it was not. The morning of the affair the printing machine broke and they never told us, they never tried to go to a 3rd party to have it by done. The cake was supposed to be canoli and it was not. I will look for pictures and now details and post further.The dining area is often just too cold. I know its a supermarket really but its positioned to be so much more than that.
Cavernous market with a number of Italian specialties. Excellent selection of meats, fish, cheeses, and a large, well-stocked deli counter. There are grab to go items, sushi, a soup, salad and antipasto bar. Dont skip the bakery.A little on the expensive side, but worth the trip.

This is not a grocery store, its a food theme park! If you think grocery shopping is a tedious chore, you should stop by Uncle Giuseppes and have your mind changed. They often have samples of cheeses and other dishes, and on Saturdays and Sundays there is often a live singer crooning the old Rat Pack classics! They are constantly updating their selection based on feedback and if you are a lover of food, you will be in heaven here - U-Pick 6 packs, sushi counter, huge gluten-free/allergen-free food section, a candy and chocolate counter, in-store bakery and cafe, handmade mozzarella - what are you waiting for?!

Produce department is severely lacking. Cookies by the pound from the case are generally stale Uncle Gs does however have a spectacular assortment of Italian foods. If you need other items, shop elsewhere.
We were there at 5:30 to buy steak and cheese. No one was at either counter to help us out. We finally walked away from the cheese counter, on to the butcher counter, where we waited for close to 15 minutes, ringing the service bell at the butcher counter to no avail. My husband finally went to the service desk to find out why no one was available to help us purchase a $30/lb dry aged steak. They told us the butcher leaves between 4:30 and 5:00. Why then cant they put a sign by the service bell saying its closed? And why would they be closed as people are coming home from work, looking for something for dinner? It took us 45 minutes total to only purchase 5 items for all the waiting around we did for service that was non-existent. Very disappointing.

Nice selection of prepared foods. The store is clean and neat. Speedy checkouts. I love that you can get sushi and sandwiches after 8pm for buy one get one.
I shop there only around holidays, IF I cant find what I want for less elsewhere.
Clean area, nice vibe with easy music, great produce, meats and seafood (if thats your thing) prices a little high and sometimes the clientele is a little uppity but overall a pleasant experience
Overpriced grocery, some hard to find items , but u pay dearly for them. Terrible pasty tomato sauce ! Maybe Non-Italians like it ? Victoria in a jar puts Uncle Giuseppes sauce to shame. Everything they sell is way,way,way Overpriced and Fake Italian food ! MORE like Hispanic food........

Good lord this is the mothership off all things good. Mostly Italian, but they also had sushi.They have so many things to choose from it was hard to make a decision especially since I was only in NY for 3 days.I walked by the candy area and there was a POP of something and I thought it was flying straight at me but there was a plastic partition and these little discs flew out of a machine and hit the partition. I asked the lady what they were (She told me but I forgot) she said would you like to try one - Sure who says no to free food samples. It was like popped rice or corn maybe but sweeter. Then she asked if I wanted to try it with chocolate on it. Yes please lol.Oh an absolute MUST is their cannoli dip. Thats right - its just like you think. All that good stuff in the middle of a cannoli all by its self with chips made out of the cannoli shell on the side to dip it in.Their cookies are fabulous, their precooked food was fabulous. Now if they would only open one here in Florida / Palm Beach County to be more specific that would be awesome.
The staff is not respectful at all. Ive come in several times over the course of the summer and Ive witnessed the managers react in an extremely rude manner to the cashiers when addressing a situation. If you want to witness disrespectful language and unfriendly relationships between the employees during your grocery shopping, heres the place to go!

Fairly expensive super market. Makes plenty of their own foods available for purchase. Clean, helpful staff. Standard departments but they also offer a lot of specialty, mostly italian, foods.

I went in to buy lobsters when they were on sale and decided to have them steemed for a additional 2.00 each... little did I know that when you order a esteemed lobster from them you get the dead ones. You dont know how long it has been dead for. This is observed by me waiting for them to be steamed. I even asked the man behind the counter and he was putting live ones in a bag and putting the rest on the counter.. I said what is wrong with those and he says they are dead. I spoke to manager and he said well I can give you one for free . I opted to take the live ones. Then wrote email to corporate with no response. Called corporate and they took my name and number and said someone will get back to you. Never heard a thing. Next step is this a bad review and contacting the health department.
I went this morning early and I needed to get food for a big bar b que this weekend. I got to the deli counter and wanted waldorf chicken salad, the gentleman at the counter looked and said there was none put out yet so I said I would shop and come back but he said no let me go on the back and see if I can get you some. Well after a minute orcteo he came out with my salad and he was so nice and courteous I had to write this. Next I went to the meat counter and wanted a large quantity of chicken burgers. The man at the counter told me they had none. He looked around and another fellow came out from the back and said he would make them up for me but he needed some time, so I said fine and did my shopping and when I got back they were all ready and waiting for me. I cant believe everyone is not doing their shopping here. It was the nicest time I have ever had on a supermarket.

For a while I was buying your broccoli quiche and LOVED it I had friends hooked on it as well until recently. The label use to say it was made with colliflour and LOVE. Recently noticed when the labels changed so did the ingredients. Can I say you should go back to the old the new defiantly is not as good a little dried out

A great market to pick up some special items. They have a huge cheese selection, fresh pasta and fresh seafood. The pizza there is also delicious.

Been going here since age 13. Gluten free goods are spectacular here, their bakery and deli are incredible, they have a chocolate fountain and gelato stand in their candy section -- the only thing anyone COULD complain about is the store being a bit pricey, but if your wallets feeling less tight, Id suggest you splurge here.

Me and my friend ordered from here today and gave us the wrong order we wanted eggplant rolls and gave us chicken rolls. we are vegetarians. they want us to come back to the store to get a refund with the food. not right!
Always find myself here at the holidays. Prices are high, but worth it for family gatherings etc... Hard to find candies and such make for nice touches on gifts.

There are a lot of stuff (eg. Italian ready-to-eat food) that you may not find in other supermarkets. But its a bit more expensive than other supermarkets such as Shoprite.
The soups were messy and looked like it had dripped all over the counter top. The buffet looked like it was sitting all day grey in color without anyone changing the food. Nasty The manager was as rotten as his buffet.
Warning old softshell bluecrabs sold bought 6Rancid old smell once cooked was a commercial baymen retired know bad seafood caught to sold time too long.In my opinion older than 7 days.
This is by far and above any market on the Island and in fact one of the best markets Ive ever shopped at. Fantastic quality and experience.
I visited the store today looking forward to buying some quality dried sausages and I made the 7 mile trip because they advertised Cento olive oil 101,4 oz for $9.99... Needless to say I knew I had a better chance of getting hit in the ass by a submarine while swimming at Jones Beach.. The customer service desk woman said come back on Tuesday at the crack of dawn... But from the look on her face I could tell the submarine was not coming that day either... Needless to say I walked out of the store and will not be going back any time soon... And for the crowning glory the owner of the store at one time years ago had the nerve to complain that people from east of Miller Place do not shop at his store.... I guess deceptive advertising has its price

2021-10-24I want to shared that I am so happy to have Mr. Mark and Mrs Lorraine at the Deli, to help with my tuna sandwich which require a lot of work on it. 2022-05-20The cashier i had wasnt very respectful towards me. I was packing my groceries after paying and she started ringing up the next customer. I dont appreciate that as a customer. I was once a cashier and id never do that to my customers. I would help them pack up if they allowed me to and i would always treat them with good vibes and respect. This cashier also didnt give me my receipt. I had to go back in and grab it. She barely paid any attention to me as i was trying to get her attention to get my receipt. Very rude. Went back later in the night and had better service. I wont knock this place too bad. I love Italian food as an Italian and think their prices are usually worth it.

2022-04-28Their catering department is completely incompetent!!! I picked up a small catering order ($100) yesterday (Wed. April 27th at 2:30pm) that I ordered on Monday April 25th. It was half tray of stuffed mushrooms and half tray of mini spanakopita (that was recommended to me when I was ordering) and the mozzarella party platter.. So when I picked up the order the woman said, Im sorry we ran out of mini spanakopita. My jaw dropped. How could you run out of it?!?!? I placed my order on Monday... today is Wednesday. Isnt that the point of ordering in advance.... so they have it when you come to pick it up?!?!??!?!?? The woman mentioned I could get something else but I said I needed it for the event which starts in 15 minutes.... would it be ready? She said no but that I could bring it with me and heat it there. I was bringing the food to an Art studio where there werent any ovens or microwaves. So she said I could get I cold platter. I said never mind just credit my credit card....SMH!!!!!!!
