Uncle Gs Ice Cream in other cities:
I just had the coffeeiest coffee shake I have ever had. Normally this is made with custard and real coffee but I asked them to replace the custard with French Roast hard ice cream and it was multiple times better than shakes with coffee mixing syrup. Since real coffee is used you also get flavorful coffee after tastes and a little kick of caffeine. Im definitely coming back later to try out the inside menu since they now have a kitchen.
I had a super fun time here with my friends tonight. Our first time here, I passed by it over the weekend and said I needed to come check it out soon. My friend wanted ice cream so I dragged her and my husband out for some, it seemed like in the middle of no where driving down Townline and Tonawanda creek rd, but the building is huge and you cant miss it!Its under a bit of construction right now. There were about a dozen or more other people there, so you know its a bit of a hot spot. Id say the prices were pretty decent. I paid $6.25 for a banana split with hard ice cream (double chocolate instead of pineapple). They have an incredible variety here and some killer types of ice cream sundaes (rad names!).
Nice staff, clean grounds. The soft serve is the BEST. Typical pricing but worth every penny. They let you order ahead and the food they sell is very reasonable. One of our favorite summer spots. We also bring the dogs for their pup cups that are only $1.00!! Cannot say enough great things about Uncle Gs. Proud to give this small business, our business.
We had an ok time at Uncle G’s. The ice cream was pretty good but the place was dirty and sticky and needed some attention. They may have been understaffed and since this was our first trip there I don’t want to be too critical since I don’t have anything to compare it too. The prices are pretty reasonable and they have some interesting choices. The setting is nice and the neighborhood is quiet and safe.
Great place for ice cream if you can find a place to park. The last 2 times Ive been there the place was absolutely packed and we ended up having to park way down the street but theres a really nice bike path that starts I think in Lockport? Im not sure but it takes you straight to uncle gs. And despite the place being so busy the wait in line isnt bad. Theres alot of nice outdoor seating areas plus a nice patio you can sit under for some shade. So uncle gs for me personally is a 9/10. I would have given it a perfect 10/10 but the parking situation is kinda bad
Ordered 2 milkshakes. They were the absolute worst ones that we have ever had. The cherry looked and tasted like pepto Bismol and was so thin that you could drink it with a straw like a pop. Went there because they made real shakes ( no milkshake machine) and was horribly disappointed.
The line was long, but I thought they did a great job getting through it efficiently. I had the Queen of Hearts ice cream and its my favorite Perrys flavor, only ever see it at Uncle Gs. I didnt get food this last visit but have in the past and it has always been good. Id def recommend you stop in.
First trip of the summer for ice cream. No place better than Uncle Gs. Great selection of soft and hard ice cream. The wife and I both got our orange chocolate soft ice cream fix. Orange Choclate says Western New York like chicken wings and beef on deck. There is nothing better on a warm summer night than a dish or waffle cone of Orange Choclate Ice Cream. Try it! You wont like it, you will LOVE IT!
Today I set out on a 25 mile bike ride, specifically setting Uncle Gs at the halfway point. Having been there before and enjoyed my experience, I was pretty pumped. The ride went fine and when and I arrived, I ordered a delicious milkshake. I handed over my card, and it was rejected... Then rejected again... Having just used my card at Berts Bikes and Fitness on the way out, and with ample available balance,I was perplexed and embarrassed. The employee at the window said dont worry about it, and give me the milkshake anyway- the kind of friendly, neighborly, act you can only get at a mom-and-pop shop like Uncle Gs. Lo and behold 15 minutes into my return ride home, I received a call from my bank informing me of fraudulent charges on my card that day. Needless to say, Ill be returning back in short order to pay off my milkshake, and probably get another frozen treat to boot! You cant beat this place for the quality of their product, and especially the quality of their people. Thanks, Uncle Gs!
Terrific old-fashioned ice cream drive-in. Outdoor lawn seating available, and friendly home town atmosphere. Ideal location right beside the bike trail, and plenty of parking. Try their pumpkin pie ice cream with the sauce from their rum raisin sundae -- perfect fall combo!
Went and placed order for food at 1:10pm for 2 subs on 9/5/2020. We wanted to give Uncle Gs a try for food. We waited for over 30 minutes and no food. We left, then we waited to see if they would call us and no call. I called them about the order and the girl who answered the phone, said she was going to check on the order. That tells me the order might not have been placed. I told her not to check on it we left. All she could say was she was sorry. Sorry, not sorry, it shouldnt take almost an hour for 2 8 subs.
Uncle Gs is an amazing local attraction, and even better with the new bike path opening! Now that theyve added food to their menu, theres nothing more to ask for. I particularly enjoy a Perrys Bittersweet Sinphony waffle cone or a malted coffee milkshake made with Craft Coffee House (another fantastic local treat) coffee. The onion rings are killer!Indoor dining space is limited, but their covered porch and outdoor patio tables have plenty of space. Parking can be tricky, but the church lot across the street is available for overflow.
Go! Just go. This is a gem, and you wont be sorry. One of my favorite memories is of my daughter holding an ice cream cone piled higher than her head, with the biggest smile! You can get different scoops of ice cream on one cone, so it makes the what flavor do I want decision so much more fun :)
Uncle Gs is incredible ice cream shop. They have one little bitty window that you order add and next to that another little window to get what you ordered. They used to have a stage but they did some expanding it looks like theyre going to start having a sit-down area inside. They have built a new cooler which is gigantic. And it looks like theyre building a new expanded porch which they use as a stage. The other day I had a volcano it was fantastic. Give Uncle Gs a try you wont be sorry.
BEST ice cream shop in Lockport! My favorite thing that sets them apart is that they use fresh, real fruit in their shakes. There is nothing more disappointing than a banana milkshake made with fake banana flavored syrup. Uncle Gs uses REAL FRESH bananas and its so good!!! Their shakes remind me of Nestors in NT (now closed). Their caramel sundaes and brownie monster sundaes are also a couple favorites. My husband is a huge fan of the peanut butter milkshakes (real peanut butter folks, not syrup). My 3 year old likes their vanilla and chocolate milkshakes the best. They have a nice picnic area with tables. They also have live music and car shows and though Ive never attended one of these events, Ive driven past and they are well attended.
Ordered 2 milkshakes, instead I received textured milk, it was literally milk with a pinch of ice cream and the smallest amount of orange flavor, usually Uncle G’s has good ice cream but these milkshakes were so gross, train your employees how to stir a milkshake; it’s really not that hard of a concept
The light at the end of the tunnel. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The only ice cream parlor open on the Erie Canal for miles on end in October! You guys are the real MVP. Good old fashion ice cream for my carb loving body after pedaling what seemed like forever without ice cream. I didnt think I could make it without this oasis in the dessert!
Uncle Gs ice cream parlor is S0 much improved from earlier days, that its UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME !!!! from the staff , accommodations, and the abundant choices of flavors and options , make this thee ULTIMATE destination ....... try it once and youll Always come back , time after time.
Been going there for a couple years with my family and my grandchildren and highly recommended it is Tip Top they are the greatest people respectful clean and efficient very nice people I would highly recommend it go back there soon I was there last night had a banana split it was out of this world

2022-05-12Super adorable little gem. You can get a bite to eat, besides just icecream and relax. They have indoor dining, very sizable patio and picnic tables. Afterwards you can take a walk or a bike ride along the canal.

2022-06-04The amount of ice cream that you get for the price is very reasonable. They also have a huge selection of flavors to choose from. The location is also very nice, right in front of the park and some river (not sure which one). A very picturesque spot to relax and eat you frozen treats. They had many tables inside and out. One thing I liked about this place is they also have food options.

2022-05-14Best ice creme bar none. Friendly staff, amazing food. They offer unique choices in everything, and even on the busiest days their staff remain totally professional and yet are extremely personal. They never rush you. It is slightly off the beaten path, but WELL worth it!!

2022-06-13Love this place! The line was long when we got there. But the people behind the counter are fast, efficient, and friendly! So dont let a line to the street scare you away. They also have a big selection of ice cream. They have all the hard to find ones.

2022-04-17Uncle Gs has THE best milkshakes! I especially love the blueberry and the banana flavors. They use real fruit, not artificial syrups, so they are fresh tasting and oh so creamy! I wish they could be open year-round! Love this place!
