Mail boxes broke so was informed on Thursday I had to pick up from post office get there n was told I have lots of mail but cant be picked up only Wednesday n Saturday go early 8am Saturday n eas told I have no mail mind u I have informed delivery emails saying I have mail since a whole week passed n no mailThen I was told they havent sorted the mail out smh disgusting
This has to be the most incompetent office full of people if someone puts in the request for you to hold the package.... Why would you not read the entire request..... 3 emails!!! 3 with the request for it to be held.... Now I have to go out of my way to retrieve my package.UpdateThe mail carrier said my name to someone they said yea I know her and called someome on the phone and said yea I got your girl swimsuit... And lets the man walk away. So now the post office is like you should have never used redelivery but if it says hold for pick up... Why would it go back out.
USPS tells so many lies! Had a package that I ordered through Amazon and the post office was delivering it on a Sunday. I received a message that on Sunday at 9:57PM that someone tried to deliver the package and a notice was left. No notice was left, no one rang the door bell, and the fact that theyre lying because I was outside in the front of my home chatting with my neighbor and no USPS truck came on the block. Trying to call the post office on Atlantic Avenue to track down my package and no one answers the phone. No wonder the post office sucks! Horrible, liars, losing countless mail... I despise the USPS.
A package of mines was quote on quote delivered yesterday at 5:00. I was literally a block away from my building. I did not see a truck or mail lady/man. & on top of that someone was home to pick up my package if they had just rung the bell! They leave the package in unsecured locations and expect us to receive them every time. It’s really frustrating that we spend our money and our packages get stolen because jobs are not done correctly. USPS is really the worst and people need to start being held accountable. 🙄
I wish I could give this post office zero stars because it’s a joke of a post office. I went there to send a package and stood on line for two hours and this was on more than one occasion, the people that work there spend more time talking with each other then they do helping the customers. This place does not even deserve one star. when you go to pick up a package they would sometimes give you the wrong package so you would have somebody else package.
Agree with most comments, they lied about delivering your packages. Saying there no secure location, meanwhile they don’t even ring the doorbell. So many lazy ppl working for the USPS, I hate when I’m home and my package is left on the floor or that it was left at the mailbox and nothing is there. The ppl working at this location looks so miserable, like they are not getting paying for their job.This location need to be closed immediately, and used the space for a much better productive business. I wish I could give zero star..
This is the worst postoffice in the district....maybe even country wide. They are severely under staff and the operating hours does not meet the needs of the community in which most people hold a 8-5 job. Saturday morning package pick up are the worst. Which is compounded by the fact that the post men and women do not make an honest attempt to deliver the packages. The post office notification and awareness campaign around the gopost has been criminal at best! I write this post publicly in the hopes that major changes occur at the post office.
I had some packages picked up by a postal carrier and they were never scanned and never reached their destinations I went to inquire about my packages which had some expensive items and the supervisors so she claims “marten” told me this has nothing to do with them and it is my own risk giving my package to their employee. Refused to try and help me solve my problem at all didn’t even ask my address or try to find out who my mail carrier is the worst part is the packages were never scanned so I can’t even claim insurance on a $400 item in one of my packages. Basically I got robbed

I HAVE HAD VERYBAD EXPERIENCES AT THIS LOCATION FOR YEARS. I GREW UP AN RAISED MY KIDS IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD. IVE GOTTEN PACKAGES STOLEN AN NEVER RECIEVED OVER THE YEARS. THE WHOLE STAFF IS NASTY AN DISRECTFUL. THEY DEFINITLY NEED A WHOLE NEW STAFF MANAGEMENT AN ALL. GIVE THE JOB TO PEOPLE THAT LIKES TO HELP THE PUBLIC NOT JUS RECIEVE A PAY CHECK. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS BEFORE MINE. WORST NYC USPS OFFICE. I DONT EVEN WANNA GIVE THEM ONE STAR BUT I HAVE TO FOR THIS COMMENT.
Mail carrier—- always miss deliver of the mail. My mail most of the time ends up in my neighbor l’s mailbox and at times she is unable to locate her mail. I believe the issues are the use of the cellphone. On the phone delivering the mail — you are being distracted and not playing full attention.

2022-06-08Based on these reviews I was dreading going to pick up a couple packages I missed the initial delivery on, but my service was great from top to bottom. Someone (the manager, I think) called me back same-day when I emailed a service request about the redelivery I scheduled and explained I had postage due on one of the packages so Id need to come in to get it. I went in this morning around 10:30 AM, which wasnt very busy at all, and dealt with several members of the staff who were all friendly and professional with me and with the other customers from what I saw. Maybe the trick is to go before lunch.

2022-01-22This is hands down the worst post office in the world. I read the reviews and thought who doesn’t complain about the post office? Nope. These folks go the extra mile to make sure they are the absolute worst. Laziness and incompetence work hand and hand here to ensure they are the 7th circle of hell as far as post offices are concerned. Don’t believe me? Go see for yourself so I too can laugh at you for giving them the benefit of the doubt like I did.

2022-06-13The delivery people are very rude and then when you call to find out theyre just ruder and do nothing 3 packages in one day said it was delivered andelivered and not 1 can be found by me but I dont know what theyre doing with peoples packages theyre probably taking in I dont know this is crazy nice this Post Office needs to be washed out out

2022-02-18Shut it down. This post office is horrible. Hire people that actually want to work. I never get my package. Never get any type of notice. I lived at my location 3 months now, still have yet to get my mailbox key. I have to send my mail/packages somewhere else, that’s the only way I get it.

2021-12-03I usually dont complain, but on Dec, 2 I was home waiting for a important📦 to deliver from Post office, got a Notification Saying my package was delivered to The front door , went to my front door 🚪 no package.package was stolen, the post person didnt even ring my bell to let me know that they delivered the package knowing its a bad area it only take a second just to ring the door bell (smh) they just dont care......

2022-01-17I had a scheduled package pick up and no one came to collect it wasted my entire day waiting, went to the post office to ship my Package today and its close but says open on the website from 9am I got there at 10:30 and it was closed I waisted another day and my package is still not shipped .

2021-08-31If I could give this Post Office a ZERO I would. The phone is always busy. They never deliver my packages. I track my packages and placed an order to re-schedule. I stayed home all day and nothing. When the Postal worker came to deliver mail, he told me that they lie. It will say try to deliver but the postal service never did. This post office is the worst.
