United States Postal Service in other cities:
I asked to speak with someone about an initial complaint where a mail carrier did not knock or ring the bell to make a valid attempt before declaring delivery failure. No one ever answered the phone number of the branch provided at the website. When I went to speak with someone in person, I was made to wait at least 50 minutes. When spoke with a supervisor, “Ms. Johnson” she was rude, did not apologize for making me wait almost an hour, rushed me and kept saying “well I wasn’t supposed to be disturbed” and ended up shutting cardboard over the window in my face. This was atrociously disrespectful, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she smashed my package before I go to pick it up out of retaliation.
The USPS doesnt not get the funding for the staffing needed to properly maintain their spaces. During lunch hours, I had to wait in line for 20 minutes, none of the table pens worked, and the employee was chatting with her colleague at the window while filling out my shipping form. Mailed something out Priority Express and it arrived when it was supposed though.
Good experience. After my package delivery was attempted on Monday, I waited for the driver to attempt again. Nothing happened so I filled out a form online today. I received a phone call the same day with a nice voicemail about how I can pick up my package here. When I showed up a couple minutes later about 4 PM, there were 5 people waiting on line. But the lady behind the counter asked if anyone was picking up a package, so I raised my hand and was helped right away. Yay! I liked the efficient and polite service. Thank you so much!
I recently had to visit the post office because I was expecting a package on June 3, which never arrived yet tracking said a delivery attempt had been made (I was home all day and would have been able to answer the door if it had been buzzed). When I tried to schedule a redelivery for June 6, by June 10 it still said it was In Transit. I called the general USPS help number, and that representative gave me a case number, but I was never contacted by another rep from USPS. I figured what happened was that I live above a commercial space and the carrier must have seen the closed business and not looked for the residential entrance. We get this sometimes with other carriers, I think we should be able to rely on the USPS to know how to deliver to a residential address. While I was inconvenienced by my delivery limbo and eventual need to travel to the post office, Im writing this review in response to how pleasant my actual visit was. Im writing this June 2020, so during the pandemic. I was worried by how busy post offices in BK can get and how they would be handling crowds with social distancing. When I arrived, people were already spacing six feet apart, and they started letting us in before 9 AM. An individual managed the door, making sure only 10 people were in the building at any given time. The wait wasnt too long, and when I got up to the window the associate was very quick to help me. I told her the issue, she took down a note of my concern, and she found my package. The next day I even received a call from the branch manager to apologize for the inconvenience, which was very unexpected but appreciated. Ive never received that kind of treatment by my local post office before.Special shout out to my local mail carrier who pointed me toward the Church Ave. post office to collect my package and told me to arrive by 8:30 AM to avoid a long line!
I have only had excellent service from this office. Overall the USPS is one of the agencies that most suffers from the shameful, seditious sabotage that characterizes Republican leadership, but the folks here have been uniformly helpful, have saved me money and time, and done it with good cheer.
I dont know what everybody complains about. The people there are friendly and provide nice service for me.Sometimes the waits are long and the internet is broken down all the time and then you have to pay with cash which I find weird, that it breaks so often. Also it looks messy and dirty. But they get the job done.
This is easily the worst post office I have ever been to. Unfortunately I’m in here every couple weeks to pick up a package since this is my local USPS store. They have about 6 or more service windows and even when they are all staffed it still takes at least 30 minutes to get through the line because the employees genuinely don’t care about the job and spend most of their time looking at there phones. So the line is always backed up and the whole room is solid customers since it’s so small.
My friend wanted to mail me a package Priority and they made her buy tape, instead of using the priority mailing tape, provided to them!! Then the clerk was rude and didnt want to assist. Mind you, my friend told this ignorant wench, that she had never shipped anything, before. Disgusted. Fire the entire lot, of them.
This post office location is horrible!!They are slow and lazy. I was on line for 2 hours for the teller to tell me The package was not logged back into the system yet. When I tracked my packages it said no access to location. Which was a lie! I was home all day, this was the second package that they left that message For.The teller told me to Come back at 1:30 pm. She said there would be no lines. The line was around the corner when I got back at 1:30pm.Once I got to the front he told me one of my packages was still not logged in and he was only able to give me one. Which the first teller could have done but she was too lazy to look for any packagesI have to repeat the same process on Tuesday, and I hope that it’s finally logged in!
Im revising my review on our post office. I dont know if they have a new manager or what, but the service has been pretty darn good lately, especially considering the extra stress all the employees must be under because of COVID.They used to rarely deliver packages - no door tag, no buzz, no nothing - but lately theyre here every day. I havent had a problem since the beginning of the year.I havent been to the post office recently (havent needed to! hooray!) so I cant speak to their office, but we have really appreciated the regular service in all this chaos.
Post Office was packed today. However, customer service was efficient, professional and courteous. Happy Holiday everyone!Addl. While I support the Post Office, I grow tired of having packages delivered to my mail box area rather than up another flight via the elevator. I had a large but light package delivered today, Sunday February 9th. and rather than deliver the package to my apartment my package was left on the first floor mailbox area. The postal worker came up to my apartment to ring my apartment door but apparently decided he/she didnt want to deliver the package to my door. Leaving packages in the mailbox area isnt safe for the packages. I have had experience with my packages being opened when left in such an exposed area. I am not sure why this is done so often. I could hear the dolly they used to bring the package to the mailbox area, but refused to use the elevator to deliver directly. I wonder if this happens at some bldgs. and not others. I suspect if the worker thinks the residents will complain they do the right thing.
This branch is notorious for being slow and attitudinal. Ive been a resident of 11226 and 11203 post offices my entire 41 years. Theres NEVER been a time where this P.O. wasnt the worst! I usually go to Rugby Station or Vanderveer Station instead, and theyre almost twice as far. The only reason they dont get 0-1 star is because of what our POTUS did to cut the USPS prior to the election. Ill give them 1 star as a sympathy vote, however this location doesnt deserve the benefit of the doubt. Every time I travel to another P.O. the treatment is night and day. My wife and I have complained to the postmaster general for 7 years to no avail, we just give up. If we can, we have UPS deliver our packages. If i HAVE TO get a package from USPS Im sure to be home to receive it, even if i have I take the day off, because retrieving a package from here physically is a fate worse than death.
I dont leave reviews typically because, why bother? But this is ridiculous. It seems every time I have a package and it is claimed to be delivered to my mailbox, and it is NEVER there. Or Im getting mail from people that are blocks away on a different street than me entirely. Ive had to actually tell a USPS person delivering a package before that he had the wrong address entirely, not just apartment number, but building number, street AND apartment (luckily same zip code). It is common in my building to seeing piles of unopened mail that residents are leaving for the mail carrier to take, return to sender, or something because they arent delivered to the correct person. Then when you go to speak to a worker about this, they get incredibly rude with you and will ignore you until the last possible moment. Packages, despite being home at the time they attempt arent delivered and are SOMETIMES given the pink slip to be picked up, others times, youre stuck having to venture to the post office to beg to get your package. Thank goodness for tracking numbers because thats the only way to hold them accountable. It is ridiculous and unethical. One star is FAR too generous.
Absolutely horrible. I really dont understand why these people cant get it together. Been living in Brooklyn for 4 years now and USPS has been nothing but a headache for what would be simple, easy transactions in other areas. Carriers do not deliver your pacakge, yet claim they attempted delivery in the tracking info, if youre following online. No doorbell ring, no buzzer, nothing. Sometimes they leave a slip, sometimes not. Its really ridiculous. Ive called customer service a few times, and the reps I speak with also dont understand what the issue is. Its almost as if the USPS staff within the Church Ave. location lie in their documented information to back up the carriers lies, forcing you to go the post office for a lovely 3 hour wait just to get your one package. And for shipping purposes, they never have boxes or envelopes in stock. Nothing good about this place at all.
My package was delivered and returned the same day. I requested to have it redelivered. I received notice it would be redelivered last night at 8 pm. I waited two hours no package. Mind you Im on the phone with USPS customer service and they are claiming I requested for it to be held for pick up. I never did that. The representative says it is at the local office and to call ahead to make sure it is still there. I get a notification this morning at 4 am stating it was sent back to sender. I called the local office and whomever this chick was didnt even take my tracking number down but insisted on telling me my package was sent back if I got that notice. Then she put me on hold claiming she would go check. I did not give her any tracking number so what was she checking on. Then she hung up on me. I called back and she hung up on me again. I called from a different number and she answered when she heard my voice she then hung up on me. I dont understand these people. If you dont like your job, then quit! Why are you messing with peoples mail? Now I am on hold again but customer service. God only knows how long I will be on the phone with them. And I the meantime my package is probably back on its way to China. I hate this company with passion. I dont care who is working for them. This company should be shut down. Close it down. Terrible service for over 100 years. Close it down. These people are just out to make you a terrible person. I just want my damn package.
There is really not a more terrible and unpleasant place in New York City. As other reviewers have mentioned, the postal staff makes no effort to ring buzzers. Instead, after waiting an entire day for a package at your apartment, you either receive a pink slip, or in my case, receive no slip at all. It seems that they have completely just given up on delivering packages because when I check the tracking online I am told they attempted to deliver (lie) and it is available for pick up.The result of this is that when you do go to the post office, at any time of day, there is a line of at least 20 people waiting to get their packages. I still dont understand why they only have one window open while they have several open for less busy lines. On top of this, the staff here is outright hostile and angry, Ive often witnessed the manager screaming at very nice and calm customers.
Only problem is the wait on line anyday at any time. Some workers wont thoroughly look for your package without some type of tracking number or card. There are people that do their job and more but they must not be organized well to take so long to find a package! Getting better!
If i can give the a 0 i would worst service in the new york area and i have been to the one in the bronx and its a million times better i had ordered a phone and took the day off to recoeve my package i stayed home the entire day waiting for delivery and they never rang the doorbell and then they left a notice stating there was no one home. I was extremely upset because i work and do not have the luxury of picking up my package before 5 pm today i attempted to get to the post office i ran and made it there at 5:01 drenched in sweat in an attempt to pick up my package after work when i made it there they told me they couldnt let me in. There were already people inside picking up there package this is truly ridiculous they dont have any consideration towards anyone i will defintely be reporting USPS i shouldnt be going through so many hardships to pick up my package.
Our apartment is located on the backside of the building so I understand why they dont bring packages to our door. However, the delivery man doesnt even ring our buzzer, and also quit leaving slips. I dont even know when I get packages until they get returned and I get contacted by the sender. Often I have to go online and go through a process to print off a slip since the man doesnt even bother to leave one. Its a hassle when they could simply leave a slip or just leave the package in the vestibule.
Horrible customer service. They always say they attempted delivery when many times I know they did not because I was home all day. They rarely leave slips in these cases and refuse to re-deliver. That means you have to go into this location where they are usually rude and long lines. I several times have had to argue with them about how I know they have my package when they say they do not. When they go look, they have it. I should not have to come get my mail, and then argue to get it. I have never had this problem anywhere else I have lived. Hate this location!!!!
In my experience, this Post Office often doesnt deliver medium to large size packages, so its on you to track your incoming deliveries digitally, wait until they are available for pickup, and go to the office to pick it up. Do not expect packages that are available for pickup to be delivered to your door.
Yesterday I actually had a great experience at my Church Ave post office and that rarelys happens at all in my 37years experience with them. Fast services and multiples clerks at the windows and it was busy as hell like always in there. My clerk teller she was nice and professional. Had me in and out in less than a minute. I am very impress with the services improvements. Keep up the great job!!!
A crappy post office with lazy, rude, moronic staff (general and supervisors). They rarely deliver packages to your door. You can NEVER get your package re-directed with this post office. Lines start building up 8:30 in the morning, even though they open at 9 am. Parking is almost impossible. It gotten so bad at times, I seen the kindest people blow up on these government dummies. Youre better off having your packages shipped to your job.
Awful, the worst company ever. Prefer to just have my packages delivered from fedex or ups. I always have issues with receiving my packages from usps. They left my package at a mailbox in a building. Everyone was home. Why is that okayHad to file a claim, its took several days to even file a claim. I was on hold for 2 hrs to be told contact the company I purchased my item from. So no one is held accountable from their company as usual. Because they delivered it to my mailbox. SeriouslyYears of dealing with this horrible service, I have to have my packages delivered to a friend to ensure I will receive my packages outside of Brooklyn smh.
To me, the staff has been very polite and very helpful. The things I dont like is that we have to put our mails in another mail box to send out, my bills get to companies late. The lines are too long sometimes. Needs a new paint job and cleaner even outside by the steps. like the ones Downtown. Have a great day.
I have trained customer service staff and so it’s safe to say that here exists one of the Worst Post Office staff ever. There is a slim, short girl at the pickup window. She is the epitome of worst customer service. She cuts you in the middle and has a rude tone. I missed a digit while giving her tracking number and she yelled “this isn’t correct, don’t give me crap”. Very inefficient with finding parcels so the line is huge. I waited an hour being 5th in the queue just to find out that they didn’t hold my parcel despite of confirmation number from usps themselves.
Calling this post office directly is no help. Called at 8am, someone picked up and told me to call back at 9am for package inquiries. I’ve been calling for 1hr and 30min with no one picking up.Edit: I called the entire day all the way until 5pm, no one ever picked up.
Ive had bad experiences for years, but what can you possibly do when its the post office. The issues will only heighten because they genuinely do not engage their workers in any proper customer care; the management doesnt care, so obviously the workers will not. Sadly, USPS isnt going anywhere, this branch isnt going anywhere. Makes no sense complaining because the employees arent going anywhere. We will unfortunately have to deal with the bs until/unless we move out of this district.
This has happened to me twice now. No notification of delivery attempt given. Package is about to be returned. Reschedule for delivery. No redelivery attempted even though scheduled. Try tracking and repeatedly told on truck. Basically package is at post office but staff does not look for it. Item is found only when enough fuss is made. Horrible post office and lazy staff.
Terrible place. They have no pens, no boxes, no respect for clients. Im tired of lost packages, I dont think they even deliver them. It happened many times when I was waiting for a package at home and nobody called or knocked and my package was downstairs on the floor. Or even better, THEY ARE FAKING a signature saying it was delivered to you. No slips either. And it happens A LOT. All my neighbors complain about it. What is wrong with you, guys?
My package is currently sitting there at the Postoffice for 3 days!!!!! I called 3 different times, on hold for an hr each time and I just hung out. Fire everybody and try again. I am never advocate for one losing their job but they are incompetent and rude.I couldnt get it myself,I work long hrs, super frustrating.
I went to two other post offices looking for my package, because no location was written on the slip. They told me to come here. My tracking number still says my package is at this office. On two occasions, Ive gone to request my package and been told that they dont have it. They refused to look for it, or to help me in any other way.
WORST. POST OFFICE. EVER.Short-staffed; I never spend less than 40 minutes on a line waiting to pick up a package, and this is when I go as soon as they open. And the postal workers that deliver for this zip code are either lazy, incompetent, or both. More than half the time I do not get large parcels delivered as they should be; employees claim to attempt a delivery although on numerous occasions I have been home during the attempted delivery time. Its been like this for years and its just getting worse and worse. How they havent fired most of the staff as yet is beyond me, but they need to overhaul their entire system.
I have to say, Im pretty sure this is the worst post office Ive ever stepped foot in. Quite often, they wont even try to deliver my package to me - theyll just leave a slip...or not. I checked the status on a package that claimed they tried to deliver...but they didnt. Always packed, always slow, always a miserable experience.
So far this is the best of the worst! My last post office wouldnt help me at all when packages had no delivery attempt and went straight to the post office. Without a pink slip they would tell me nothing could be done... Successfully grabbed 2 packages without a slip and the woman was PLEASANT!I really hope this is the norm! Fingers crossed!
If I could leave zero stars I would. I recently moved to this neighborhood, and basically cant receive packages through the USPS. The carrier will not even leave a slip, when Im told by them that an attempt was made. I cant pick the package up without a slip. Ive had to return two items for refund with companies I ordered from because this branch is so completely inept. Ive never seen such disregard for service. Its a real problem, and the only solution is using a private courier. The absolute worst!
If you happen to live in an area serviced by this post office... God have mercy on you. Never EVER order a package. Your days of getting packages are over. The carriers will not even attempt to deliver your package, they just leave a slip saying you werent home (even though you always are).. You will then take that slip and spend an entire day waiting in line to receive your package. Ive never seen less than 30 people (who were probably also at home when their package was attempted for delivery) in line here. Long story short: move out of Flatbush before dealing with this post office literally kills you.
Had a mail delivery person buzz my door and literally 10 seconds later, when I opened it, they were gone. I got prank called by USPS! Had to go to the post office, waste an hour and stand in line with 20-30 other people waiting for pick ups, while the Money Order and Stamp lady was helping out with the pick ups. There were 4 people for Money Orders and 20-30 for pickups. Maybe reallocate your resources?? This happens literally EVERY TIME. Pick ups is your most requested function, because your delivery people dont do their jobs. Fix either the deliveries or the pick up service!
Long lines filled with obnoxious disgruntled people. The staff is not friendly and rude (but probably because they deal with the disgruntled people all day). My packages almost never gets delivered to me and I dont receive pink sorry we missed you notices so I never know when my packages arrive unless I can use internet tracking. I have to go here once a week because of this. Theres probably been 1 friendly employee Ive had to deal with here which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1.
I placed an order close too a month ago, and havent received my package yet. Like some of the comments year, it was undelivered and then delivered (3) minutes after, but still no package. I went to the post office the very next day and no package was there. I give my information for an update and havent received any call regarding this matter. I then filed a complaint with the main office to look into the problem. I waited for the investigation to take place, and when I just called awhile ago, I being told by the automated message that my case is resolved with a phone call or reason as to the outcome. So now I have to get in contact with them on this issue now.
They DO & WILL not deliver your package and refuse to redeliver it. So now you have to take the time out your day to go do their job. Oh. & look at their hours for window service to pick up your package. Horrible place. I cant wait for the day USPS goes out of business. If you live in this area and USPS is delivering your package ? Get ready for this run of the mill bullshit.
Leave pink slips without even attempting to ring your door bell. Ill be home all day waiting for a package, noone will ring my bell but a pink slip appears in my mailbox saying they missed me. BS. When they do actually ring your bell, you have to come downstairs to them, unlike ups or fedex, which will deliver the package to your door.If you go to the post office to get your package, expect to wait on line for at least an hour along with fifty other surly people who got a pink slip despite being home for their package. But dont despair, there will always be some crazy person or two in line to provide a smidgen of entertainment. The management needs to be fired and the workers need to be replaced with competent people.
This location sucks! The male Asian clerk, I asked him a question about an express package delivery to a certain office, his reply was you already know the answer to that question. If you need any supplies, forget it, or maybe you may find some supplies on the floor or the ceiling, because that is where most of the supplies are. Never, ever try calling this post office, this site does not believe in answering the phones, and when they answer, you in no doubt; be put on hold for twenty minutes (no joke). Most of the clerks are rude, and for some reason, the supervisor is never around when you need to report an incident.
Just like the other reviewers write, this place is inefficient. They dont bother to try to deliver, instead, they just leave the pink slip. Then ur stuck waiting with other miserable people trying to get their packages. The workers are not so rude, but customers are often angry that they have to be here...just like me. I order tons on amazon and have Prime for a reason. These people just take the excitement out of buying online and coming home to your delivered package. UPDATE: OK Im back the next morning and line is out the door and over 30 folks deep. (see pic). Im switching to Amazons locker arrangement where they deliver to a local store in ur area and u pick up from there. Mine is a 7-11 thats open 24hrs and same distance from my home as the post office. I suggest you do the same
Worse Customers service. If you can. Dont do Business at That Location. I had 3 Deliveries. They all went back. No real notice. 1. Recently, I needed to pick up a Package for my husbands. I on another box. That was 4 my husband. I was on a cane. The rep. Told me. I need a copy of his I.D. I showed them mine. He was levied. They will send your mail back or give you a hard time. So, now... we have to Spend money for FedEx. We just dont deal with them at all.
This post office is garbage. There are no legit reasons to have daily lines of 20+ people who need to pick up packages. Every. Single. Day. You wait a minimum of 20minutes if you have a package that was supposedly missed delivery. If I could rate the postal workers individually I would in a heartbeat. Some of the carriers are a 10+ while others are a -1. I hate having to waste my time because a carrier was too lazy to ring my bell.
I would give this post office negative five stars if I could. Going here to get a package is like registering for a minimum of one hour of torture. The lines are atrociously long, the workers are the slowest Ive ever seen and usually rude. Getting a package redelivered never works and so you have to deal with these peoples BS whenever youre unlucky enough to receive a wretched pink slip in your mailbox. This place is an embarrassing disgrace.
Could not have had a better experience today by a very professional employee who answered the telephone. I had a question about a certified package that I sent to my grandson and the employee went over and above her duties to check on the package delivery. She even took my phone number and called me back to give me her findings. Thank you so much for your service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I was here earlier to pick up a package and while it was my package, they didn’t give me the package that the slip was actually for. When I realized 10 minutes later and I walked back. They would not help me and instead slammed the door in my face because they were just closing. Every time a worker there opened the door to let someone out she told me one minute thenWould slam the door in my face. I can’t wait until amazon just switches to ups or fedex and puts them then out of business. There have been so many instances that the postal service either does not leave a slip behind. On the occasion that they do, half the time it is for a completely different address. If ur looking at neighborhoods based on the service of postal service don’t move to this area. Can’t wait to get out of this area. To the woman who kept slamming the door in my face, just know karmas a b****
Just when you thought laziness has rock bottomed, you find out that there’s still new lows in this location.Package that the mailman was not able to deliver to an open 24hr Amazon lockbox, was dropped at this location on Wednesday @ 5 pm. After spending 45 minutes on the phone waiting for USPS customer service to pick up, I’m told that the package is ready for pick up on Thursday. As I waited 30 min in line Thursday, with only 6 ppl in front, the representative having very little disposition to actually do her job obviously, it’s “too early”, I’m told that since it was dropped on Wednesday and it’s Thursday morning, the package has not been “put in place” and I would have to come back on Friday (today), because it was too much work to find the package that should’ve been in the lockbox to begin with, so I’m here, again, 20+ minutes and counting waiting in line... no wonder the USPS is in shambles.Part 2 of this horror store.Every blue moon I have to go to the post office, this post office which I have gone to in the past year, a total of 2 times, have left me awestruck at the sheer laziness of their employees. Seems that I cannot go lower but to my own amazement, yes it does. This morning at 10 am, waiting in line with just 1 person ahead, this so called “clerk”, Mr. Lasz, tells the woman, while checking his texts messages on his smart watch (might be the only smart thing he has going for him btw) that she cannot be serviced by him because he does not sell stamps on his window, he’s sitting 1 window away from the window that does which has no one on sight to attend to it. While she waits, he calls the next person up, me, when I approach and he’s still on his text messages, proceed to tell me, weren’t you on the other line?, I replied, I’m not buying stamps I just gotta send this 1 little envelope, he insisted yet again, but aren’t you on the other line? I then replied, what does it matter what line I’m on, there’s no one in front of me or behind and you are the “available clerk” he then said, well I’m not gonna take that envelope. Thankfully, that’s not the only post office around, disgracefully, why does the USPS hires this types of clock punchers, lazy and rude employees? It’s no wonder it’s in shambles. 🤦🏿♂️ 👎🏿
This is the 3rd time I have mailed something overnight, this time requiring a signature, & they never came. IF...they did come they never rang the bell for asst/signature. This time was perishable care pkg that was costly. can never get thru for asst. Sent daughter to site AGAIN and the 1:1 in office is a challenge to experience GOOD cust svc. Total disappointment. Every time!
Not a big post office and no automated postage machines which is frustrating. But the line moved quickly and the employees know what they’re doing. This is a huge improvement over the post office on Empire, which always takes 2 hours. Will always go here instead from now on.
This place should be shutdown or fired 99% of people that works there. Starting from their manager. How come everyone keeps complaint for one reason and one post office and there are nothing been done to change that... Those lazy people have time to write down pink slip instead, ringing the bell or take the stairs to deliver my package. They have no supervisor over there, Id assume. So far I have four packages over there, with no further updates, tracking details, I even request an updates, so far I got nothing.Ive been home since Tuesday, and I have people at my house everyday they have audacity to claimed no one was home.I went there on Thursday after I received a pink slip, to pick up an Amazon package. I asked them if I have more packages, I was told no.But I cant received any further update about my package they not even update webby is the delay... Im calling Amazon and NewEgg. To resent me my package.
This place is always busy because the mail carrier dont bring your packages to your apt. They bring the pink notice to tell you to come pick up your packages. Your going to wake in a long lines, the place is always dirty and the black people who work there are so disrespectful. Why? And its always the women. Damn be greatful u have a good job with good benefits
Any time I get a package delivered by USPS they never ring the door bell and claim that I am not at home. I end up having to go to the post office building and wait in line for an hour. (All the other people in the line have the same complaint, lazy postmen not ringing the door bells). This is a terrible and unprofessional service. This is really frustrating and its annoying that a person does not do the one thing they are paid to do and then hide behind a Union. Not only do I not get my package, the line at the post office is made longer by virtue of all the other people who got cheated out of their packages.
Often the lines are longer acceptable, my packages arent even attempted deliveries to my door. So I trudge over there and wait in lines full of angry customers. Its often the customer that are ready for name calling and full on physical fights. It must be an awful place to work, though in general I found the staff to be helpful to me at least.
I cannot stand this post office. First off I never get notices when my packages are brought back to the post office! Second I live in a 6 floor apt building and sometimes instead of taking the packages back to the post office they leave it in front of my door! Reminding again in live in an apt building where everyone walks in and out and can take my package if they please! You guys need to do better!
Absolute rubbish. Package was supposed to be delivered Tuesday, then it got pushed back to Wednesday. It was put on the truck late and it was never delivered. According to them, a so called attempted delivery was made at 738PM but it wasnt successful because the parcel receptacle was jammed. All lies because the parcel size is incompatible with the dimension of the receptacle. They didnt even ring the doorbell or leave the pink slip. Now i have to stand in line for an hour in the morning for their crap service. To hell with this post office!!
Note: MAIL PRE-LABELED ITEMS AT THE STORE NEXT TO BURGER KING ON FLATBUSH. Just around the corner. Those people are AMAZING and there’s never a line.Nothing new to add. Poor service, salty employees. Is there any place here that DOESN’T have a long line??? Note: They’ll ask you to buy a whole roll of tape in case you need some. I assume they’ll do the same with scissors. Unlike every other USPS branch I’ve been to, there’s no complementary tools on the table so up can put together your packages. Even STAPLES had it, and they closed. Maybe that’s why they closed. Maybe they should start charging you for breathing the air next.
This is absolutely the worst USPS! I cant believe no one has done anything to change this yet and Im surprised most people who work here are still employed.Package delivery: they are lazy and will NEVER redeliver to you no matter how many times youve scheduled a redelivery. Sometimes, they dont deliver on purpose during holiday season so youll have to go wait in line for an hour AVERAGE.Heres the kicker, you will be faced with the sassiest staff with the most rotten-attitude at the pick up booth. They will make it a point to disrespect you and be rude to you before looking or reading any slips you give them. I had a woman today who tried to humiliate me just because my name was misspelt on the package. She yelled and announced it to make sure everyone in the office would hear about this seemingly horrible crime and acted like it was the absolute worst thing that has ever happened in her life. This place has to hire people who will actually appreciate having a job at all and do what they are paid to do.
Once again, the postal worker entrusted with delivering Amazon packages claimed to have tried to deliver without ringing either our downstairs bell or the front door bell. Both my wife and I were home during the supposed attempt to deliver. Even if he/she came to our door without knocking we would know because our dogs bark whenever anyone is at our front door. This failure happens often. I now have to go to the post office and be subjected to further incompetence, or wait around hoping the postal worker to take the time to do his/her job.I have lived as an adult in New York City for nearly 50 years, and this local post office is by far the most incompetently run and staffed of any I have ever encountered. Shame on you all (except for our regular postal delivery woman, who does do an admirable job.) If possible I would give this station NO STAR at all.
This Postal Service definitely needs an FBI investigation. Unfortunately I believe my mail was stolen internally as I was expecting a card in the mail in which fraudulent activity occurred within 24 hours! Ridiculous! Can’t even have your mail delivered without having to worry about theft. Who’s hiring these people? Scammers!!!
If i could give no stars i would. Worst experience of my life. I have been waiting for a package(gripe water for my new gassy baby) for a week so far after receiving the pink slip when i was home ALL day friday. They did not even attempt to deliver my package. I filled out the slip as instructed and left it where the carrier could see it. It sat in the box for two days (excluding sunday). I filled out a redeliver request online Tuesday morning for the next day. Still no package. So i called customer service Thursday morning and they filed a complaint and set another redelivery for today(friday). Nothing. I spoke to an employee this afternoon who located my package and said that itd be on the evening truck. No package. i called again around 830 and gave the tracking information and was put on hold for an hour. So i hung up called again and there was no answer. They forgot about me.
I waited at home all day to be sure I didnt have to go in and my package was NOT delivered. They do not even ATTEMPT to deliever the package.28+ in line to pick up a package = 1 window4 in line to mail items = 2 windowsLOGIC?? Nah. Were just the post office. We dont have enough money for logic.
This is the worst post office in Brooklyn at least. The line is always long, the tellers do not care about you, when they claim they attempted to deliver a package they dont leave pink slips. Im getting a P.O. Box in manhattan I cant deal with this. They dont even have a machine for you to buy your own postage to make the trip quicker. You are forced to wait in line.
NO COMPLAINTS! I recently moved from Houston, Texas and this has been my post office for the past 2 years aaand I have not ONE COMPLAINT. Very helpful staff and when I usually go the flow of the lines are fast. Yes, its messy BUT I wouldnt blame the workers - Id blame the customers.
In the five years Ive been served by this PO its been my experience that they do not deliver packages at all. Only we-missed-you pink slips. And epic lines of people who in majority where home when their pink slips were left downstairs. I cannot imagine what this PO could do to perform more terribly.
I am astounded and outraged about the ineptitude of this post office. Its outrageous that this totally inefficient establishment continues to operate the way it does; this post office. It has to be completely revamped and reorganized.I receive some mail, but I almost never receive my packages; instead, I find pink slips in my mail box that have a date and time during which I was at home, so I know that there was no delivery attempted.this post office should not even get 1 star. they basically do not deliver packages. I am still getting pink slips with a date and time that I am at home. They never even ring my bell! They just write out pink slips and put them in the mail box. They just dont want to take the time to go up to the 2nd floor and ring by bell. WHY ISNT ANYTHING DONE TO IMPROVE THIS SITUATION!!!!!!!!
I know this seems redundant but this place is horrible. Long read but please read if youre considering doing business with this atrocious establishment:I ordered a package via Amazon and it was scheduled to be delivered via USPS on Saturday. Saturday comes, I stay home ALL DAY waiting patiently for my bell to ring. Finally 9pm comes and I decide to go check the mailbox and there it is, a pink slip. Reason for not delivering the package?: No Bell!! written just like that. I was upset but overall since theyre closed on Sundays I scheduled a redelivery for Monday.......Monday comes and goes with no updates, NOT EVEN A PINK SLIP, nothing. No updates on USPS website. I called USPS hotline and they gave me the branch number. Called the branch number and first the rep told me Its scheduled for pick up and when I explained that I put in for redelivery she said Oh...its out for delivery then...SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW! So I called Amazon and explained this and they shipped me a replacement with 2-day shipping...unfortunately the replacement was shipped via USPS AGAIN so I called the hotline number and explained the problem. They said all they could do was schedule the package for redelivery on Wednesday and file a complaint with the branch. So I allowed them to do so. Keep in mind now, both packages are supposed to come on Wednesday now. So Wednesday comes and both packages are out for delivery. Good. Then at 12:02pm the USPS site for BOTH packages updates saying that the driver couldnt deliver them because There was no secure place to leave the package...WHATTTT!!! Why didnt he just ring the f***ing bell!!! So AGAIN I call Amazon who added USPS on the line for a conference call and I explained this to them. They scheduled the package for redelivery for tomorrow, Thursday and escalated my complaint ticket. They advised I call the branch again and ask for the Delivery Supervisor so Amazon then conferenced in the branch. Someone by the name of...lets call her Lisa answered. I explained the problem to her and requested to speak to a Delivery Supervisor. She kept deflecting my request by asking me more questions, asking Why dont you just come in and pick it up to which I said NO because I dont want to deal with the long lines and attitudes (that and I work late so when I get home theyre closed). Then here comes her attitude EVEN WORSE now Well the Driver Supervisor is on lunch right now youll have to call back after 1pm. Ok.Called back after 1pm, the line is busy. Literally called like every 30 minutes until 4pm. Still busy. Finally the phone starts ringing and then goes busy again. Call back, now the line is busy. I called Amazon back and told them that if my packages arent delivered tomorrow I want a refund and I NEVER want my things being shipped via USPS again. Now I know they have no control over that but I just wanted them to know that if theres an option other than USPS, choose that option instead. Im convinced someone is intentionally not answering the phone and taking the phone off the hook or something. I tell you one thing, if I wouldve had to go into that branch on Saturday to pick up my s**t somebody wouldve heard my mouth.IM TIRED OF THEIR F***ING ATTITUDES AND PURE LAZINESS!!! That branch needs to be closed OR they need to FIRE everyone who works there and hire a WHOLE NEW BATCH OF PEOPLE who dont have such nasty stank a** attitudes.
Literally waited 2 1/2 hours for a package that I never received a door tag for however the tracking # says it was refused so its being held at this address. The teller took the tracking # after waiting for another 30 mins she returned and said the package is not here call the 800 # then she shut the window on me. Worse experience ever!!!!!!
The mail delivery men/women are so lazy, unprofessional and useless. EVERY time I order a package they dont even bother to ring my doorbell to even have me come to the lobby to receive it. They just throw a pink slip in my mail box which they seem to do to everyone else considering the absurd parcel pick up lines. Dont get the job of a mailman if youre too lazy to do your damn job. Pathetic.
I was expecting an urgent important letter from abroad and they lost it !!! They said when they track it its still with the carrier! And the carrier - the postwoman went ON HOLIDAY! So they dont know where she put it!!! How unprofessional! I was bugging my parents days to send me some stuff urgently! And they DONT KNOW WHERE IS IT! In my country if they cant deliver mail its the same day in the post office after 5pm!!! Not here!
Im surprised that everyone in this place isnt fired. They lie about deliveries being made and making attempts, are completely rude and disorganized. You can depend on a blind cat to deliver your mail and keep better track of it rather than depend on anyone who works here. Trust me the blind cat wont disappoint you.
I wouldnt even give them a star. Ive lived in Flatbush all my life and never ever EVER have they delivered a package. But you can expect a pink slip. They dont have enough staff compared to the amount of consumers that come in through out the day. And lets not talk about the attitudes 🙄
If I could give a 0 I would. This place is a disaster. It is a horrible location. The management, the package delivery all abysmal. For the 4th package delivery in a row, somehow only USPS is unable to access my front door. Funny at 9pm, what the heck have they been doing all day. Not even a pink slip to be seen, ever. The supervisor always hiding in the office and never shows up, unless of course to lock everyone in the building, then hides again. This is a major fire safety issue and can be deadly. Every so often she shleps back to the front to let some people out, then hides so she doesnt have to actually deal with people. The lines are a nightmare and again, no supervisor to be seen. Try complaining, sure, If I want to see a glazed look on her face and a BS I apologize. What she is saying is so what, not doing anything about it so suck it! THis place SUCKS!!! please complain to post master general, or this will be out lives forever!
HORRIBLE. They stole my package and marked it as delivered to my mailbox, but it was never there. I called customer service so many times trying to find out what really happened to it but of course, they werent helpful. They get away with so much here, and nothing is ever done to change that. Im sure they wouldnt get away with such mediocre service in a white neighborhood
They have done a better job lessening the lines at this branch. It used to be a minimum 20-30 minute wait so good job. However, the postal carrier that delivers for Lenox Rd btw Bedford & Rogers is the worst. He is the epitome of the miserable postal worker, inconsiderate, jams your mail and magazines ino your mailbox carelessly. He ripped one of my paychecks recently. He clearly does not give a s__t about his job. I asked him a question 3x and the guy flat out ignored me. This man needs to go take a refresher course on how not to be an ass and how to put mail into a box correctly. His attitude and body language shows how much he hates his job and hes figured out the bare minimum effort needed before he gets his pension. He has the personality of an enema!
Delivery person left me a package key. I tried the key in every package locker and it didn’t work so I left a note saying it didn’t work in my mailbox. Instead of just giving me a key that worked, he wrote “but it does work” and threw my package on the ground outside of a locker. The package was opened and my item was stolen.115 Ocean AveBrooklyn, NY, 112251/6/2020
Single worst display of business operations I have ever witnessed. Lost packages, improper handling of mail, and consistently rude employees makes this place the lowest level of bureaucratic hell. It is where happiness comes to die, where ineptitude is defined, and where thousands of hours of unfortunate Brooklynites lives are wasted every day.
In the two years Ive lived in this area they have never once answered the phone when I call. Not one time. Lines are slow and the carriers rarely deliver anything on time, if at all. Theyll also even falsely update statuses on packages and claim you werent home when you are. I dont understand how anyone is actually collecting a paycheck here.
I went to ship some cigars to a friend in Germany and was told at the counter that cigars are prohibited and I could get arrested sending them. After some research on USPSs website, I found Cigars may be mailed domestically. They may also be shipped internationally unless the country you are shipping to prohibits it. And on another USPS page, Germany does not list cigars as prohibited items. I brought these up at the counter again, the staff spoke to each other clearly dont know what to do, someone told me yes I can send it and then a few minutes later that answer became no, and one woman came out and said I should send the package at my own risk but they are going to confiscate it and Im going to lose my item and all my money and I should take responsibility shipping the illegal item. I repeatedly told her that its perfectly legal as stated on USPSs own website and they cant just confiscate my stuff. And she said the same thing to me again and was very rude. These people working there should know the laws and policies better. One hour wasted.
This place is my personal hell. Ive never written a review for anything before but I dread going here more than anything else. The people who work here some of the most incompetent people I have ever come across and thats putting it lightly. Avoid this post office at ALL costs! Ive gone to Manhattan to send packages just to avoid coming here.
I tired of finding pink slips in my mailbox when I am clearly at home waiting for my package. I dont expect the carrier to go up to my floor but if they rang the buzzer I would be down in a heartbeat. These people are lazy and I no longer feel bad about the US Postal going bankrupt.
WORST.POST.OFFICE.EVER!!!! The one near Newkirk isnt much better. I dont even know why they have a phone since they have the ringer turned off. The mail carrier always claims an attempt at delivery was made but this is TOTAL BULLSH*T. I have a Doorman, a Porter _and_ a Super to accept packages and sign for them. Theyve too lazy to actually do deliveries so they just leave a slip making YOU go pick it up!!! The last time, adding insult to injury, an item I had ordered (well packaged, I might add) was BROKEN. New York City post offices are the worst - they should just get rid of them. I always get my FedEx/UPS deliveries. >:(
Terrible. Waited for a package, for a few days and never saw it, checked the tracking number and it said it was delivered on a day that five people and I were at home, and it even says it was delivered. No doorbell was rang, and I never saw a package that day. They told me to call their number after I filed a complaint, but the line has been busy. Incompetent.
This place and its people are complete crap! They say they tried to deliver my package when I was there all day waiting and at the end, I didnt even receive a pink slip (so how did they come when theres no proof)? I was able to contact a rep and get my package redelivered and although I received a different package I was waiting for...the one that I had redelivered never came...smh! Awful service!!!! Im a UPS fan because the USPS stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I been coming here for over 15 yrs and I hate it when I miss my post man and have to come!!! I agree with the people who talked about it being small, rude workers or how about the ones that just came up front to chat with their lazy co-worker at the desk laughing and giggling, while we stand for a hour waiting to do our business. The place need more workers up front for the growing population every time I go in very long lines... two workers for senting mail off, one worker for the stamp/ passport, one worker for picking up your packages... terrible.
Subway-grade filthy dirt. Employees give you an attitude like they couldnt care less about you & the job theyre paid for. No pen anywhere. I was about to fill out a money order which they sold me, but the employees told me they had only one pen and it wsnt available for customers! Should I have written using my own blood? Im severly shocked... Whoever is in charge should be fired immiediately. How many more people have to compalin for somebody to take action? And seriously, that person who wrote that she grew to love that place must have been paid for her review, because every single time I went there my experience was below horrible!
I wish i can give them 0 stars ! This is by far the worst postal office. People that work in there are so lazy and unprofessional. Lines are long and every time you have to wait at least 30 min. Unfortunately, that is the nearest post office in my area, i sell stuff on ebay , so i go to that location every single day, and every time i go i waste 30-40 min...because workers in there are so lazy....and the funniest thing, this office have so many negative reviews and yet they not trying to improve. THE WORST POSTAL OFFICE EVERRRR
This place is awful. Good thing the employees are for the most part quite helpful. They do the best with what they have.... Which aint much. I dont appreciate the complete lack of supplies at this location, not even a single pen! I had to leave, go to the bank to use a pen, then come back. This is just plain tired. Why does this location have such a lack of resources?? On Church avenue, its obvious why...
I pray to not get pink slips. Im not sure why they have 5 windows open for Full Service and only one window open for package pick up. Especially since it seems as though its the only reason people come to this location. The line is always a minimum 30-45 minute wait.
Worst post office ever! I never get my packages delivered on time and even when the tracking info says its been delivered, I wind up having to go to the post office to wait in a super slow line to pick it up myself. And this is all without them leaving a doortag. The last package I was supposed to have received should have been here in 2 days, it wound up taking 2 weeks for me to get it.
I thought things would get better after one of the mailmen was arrested for hoarding 40,000 pieces of mail over a decade. I was wrong. That was in 2014 and my mail still goes missing. Any postal office where a mailman can get away with failing to deliver 2,500 lbs of mail is a place where no one does their job.If you live in 11226, 50% of your mail will vanish. Your packages will never be delivered, even if you work from home (as I do), because they dont ring the bell.Anything I buy online means an hour in line at the post office. Its just not worth it.
1 out of 10 packages dropped off at this location gets stolen. The last package I had to hand it to the supervisor at the entrance, he didnt let me in to drop it off at the mailbox inside (no line). It was an international package and he never scanned it. Now its lost. Theyre going out of business.
Wish I could give this place zero stars. Why work in retail if you hate people and decide to raise your voice at coustomers? I didnt ask to be talked down to like your child when asking why my package wasnt delivered. I left shaking and in tears. The woman who I dealt with NEEDS to be fired.
Horrible delivery staff. They frequently misplace pages. Im not happy about the lies and dishonesty that goes on withing this place. I have made the effort to have an internal investigation of the facility and its staff because of the amount of missing packages is ridiculous.
We dont have a postal system here. They never deliver the packages in this neighborhood just drop the slip so everyone in the whole neighborhood has to go and create an enormous line and wait over an hour for their package. Complaints to the branch or to national headquarters have done nothing.
Its not a pleasant place to visit, but mainly because there are always a few people in line who want to have a long argument with the clerks and they hold everyone else up. If those people were escorted to a special trouble customer line (or just kicked out), people would probably be in and out of there in ten minutes. Still, its clean, well-lit, and not usually otherwise unpleasant.
Every time I come here I get so frustrated. Its filled with obnoxious people and they dont take care of customers very well. And the pickup line... Be prepared to spend at least 45 minutes waiting. Full service doesnt do their jobs and they dont help out their coworkers even though they have no customer and the line cant even fit in the office. They need to do some serious work in this post office.
Moved to the neighborhood from Bushwick 5 months ago and so far every experience inside the Post office has been favorable. Line moves fast and the employees are professional and efficient. So far so good! So much better than our old tiny post office in bushwick on wyckoff and DeKalb. That place was the worst!
THIS IS THE WORSE F***KING POST OFFICE ON THE ENTIRE PLANET! Not only are there a bunch of illiterate drop outs that work there but they also dont give a damn about giving any kind of quality service. They have failed to give me pick up slips when my packages arrived, and if they happen to lose your important mail then its just OOPS SORRY WERE IDIOTS BUT THERES NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE Do NOT waste your money on getting a P.O. box at this place and try to avoid giving them service because they will most likely mess it up and will do nothing to fix it. If I could give 0 stars and a middle finger, I WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone stole a return to sender Item that sent back to Amazon from this office. When I brought the unopened box to the post office the young lady was trying to make me pay for an unopened box to return to sender. Someone stole the item from the box and amazon received tomatoes paste instead of the return. USPS just hires bums of the street.
As soon as you make your first step inside the post office, its like waiting on line to be taken to hell by lucifer himself.i literally came 10 minutes after opening time and the line went from the window to the po boxes.this place is full no matter what time you go.
If I could give this sh_thole a negative 5 stars I would. Its way too small a facility for the growing population in this area. When you go to pickup a pckg it is a minimum 45 minute to an hour wait. Its pretty obvious why the Postal Service in this nation is bankrupt and under water. I dread coming to this place!
**THIS IS A HIGH TRAFFIC LOCATION** I was confident that this location wldnt be busy at 1pm on a Tuesday-wrong! The line was to the door!! Despite the amount of people, the line moved quickly. A woman named Tasha walked around the floor to assist people and expedite the line. I stood in line for only about 5mins before Tasha asked what I needed. I was returning an item, so while I stood in line, she set me up with everything! Since I already had the return label printed, Tasha was able to process everything on the spot. I was able to avoid the line completely! Tasha knew exactly what to do and moved from person to person expediting! Even though the facility was dirty and seemingly craybusy, Ill exscuse it considering the excellent service Tasha provided! She saved me alot of time. Good job and Thanks!
They left my package in the lobby .....when I got home there was an empty box waiting for me in the lobby....the content was stolen. When I called to make a complaint their telling me I cant file a claim because the package is not insured or watever they said. They are so negligent and sloppy. The people they have working for them are so rude and lack the proper knowledge needed in their field
The workers in this place should be fired. they dont seem to care about the costumers. they put down false statements as an excuse not to deliver packages and they never answer to the phone. the place is corrupted and possibly needs to be shut down or something, worst service i have ever experienced.
A package was delivered to my house, I wasnt there to sign, so I signed the authorization form to leave it by my door. They refused, but kept leaving pickup cards. I stopped in to pick it up, Ive been in line for 20 minutes and 2 customers have been served. Im 10th in line, at least 10 more behind me.
They dont deliver your packages on time. They dont deliver MAIL now since our mail lady decided to leave instead of come INTO the building where there are 300+ residents waiting for mail. The service is LOUSY and the people at the office are always either rude and rushy. Very few are kind. Its HORRIBLE.
The post office delivery van worker said he scanned my package and placed it in the mail box nothing was there when I checked the camera he never came by that day and basically he or she stole my package ,I came to the same post office on Church’s be and I have been waiting like 30-45 now for the supervisor and all I keep hearing is she’s coming .😡😡Done with having anything shipped with the post office..JUSTICE FOR MY 2PACKAGESSomeone called me from the post office and telling me we tracked the package and it showed the driver delivered it ,like I told him your system to track people package is highly flawed because ,that worker that day must of been invisible to to camera because the camera shows ,no one stopping or walking up to the house to deliver anything that day ,and then he’s telling me you can call and file a claim with amazon ,This is what the post office does when the worker clearly did not even attempt to deliver a package and my package disappear you reward them ,NO WONDER THE POSTOFFICE HAS TO CLOSE BRANCHESŽ ,my confidence in the postoffice has gone from 3 to -0 .never again ......🤬🤬🤬
Worst worst place ever... very very rude and non educated staff at this location, everyone there have no idea what they are doing. Every time I go there its crazzzzzyyyyy, everything is messed up. They need to start giving post office jobs to individuals who have gone to school and stop doing charity, our mails are very important! !!
It’s unreliable how slow they are here. The employees act like they’re doing you a favor when they’re suppose to be doing their job. The whole place is always dirty every time I walk in. I don’t see how these people still have their jobs.... there’s so many complaints!!!
They take your packages and mark them as delivered...or take it back to the post office and dont leave a pink slip...they never bring back your packages when you schedule a redelivery...and when you go to the post office to pick stuff up it takes 2+ hours...worse service every...they currently have one of the worse supervisor, very bad attitude ...is like they getting paid to kill time...

2022-03-17We’ve lost $400 on Amazon orders because of this USPS location as well as a wedding ring (erroneously sent via USPS by the maker). And others on our block have lost lots of items as well. They say “delivered” when the items were not. At this point, it might be reasonable to consider that some of the workers at this location run a racket where they don’t deliver a number of items, and take these items and sell them for themselves online or elsewhere. No one checks, there’s no way to complain meaningfully, appeals don’t work, so it makes sense. At one point I went back and forth for a week between these guys and USPS CS who stated the package was at the USPS office here, only for the workers to swear it’s not. I’d have given the benefit of the doubt but it’s happened to everyone on my block and we all pay extra shipping costs to order things. These guys are thieves and they’re padding their pay with this stuff. For this level of systematic package loss, there must be something less than legal going on.

2022-06-06I’ve never experienced such lack of care for one’s job or the inability to understand English, until I called this post office. It’s almost as if they don’t like their job and hate the fact that they have to show up everyday. So much so that when you catch them in a lie they begin to yell and berate you as if they’re not one one’s getting paid to be there and lose items. By far the WORST POST OFFICE. you can thank Mr Evans & Ms. Linton for this review as they are the disgusting reflection of their staff there.

2022-06-18This has to be the worst USPS of all time. I get theyre underfunded but WOW is it not doing the bare minimum. The internet has been out for TWO weeks which means they cant do international shipment or scan QR codes. When they are in operation, its lines out the door all day long. Ive had a package or two re-routed here despite my mailroom being pretty accessible and its always a pain to pick up. I feel so bad for the neighborhood who relies on them.

2020-12-10I filed a complaint on the regular driver for my neighborhood, on a Saturday, while looking out the window he made no attempt to deliver to my section and left no notice. But the Post Office app stated no entry, but he has the key. His supervisor called me and said he had my package and itll be on the truck for Monday. But the Shop app showed my package was making a round trip, which I thought was odd. I waited on Monday, 2 trucks came and left without my package. I then went to the Post Office on the Tuesday and picked it up. The Saturday date was crossed out and showed redeliver on Monday. Cool... But now it feels as if Im being retaliated against by my regular driver. Hes now leaving my packages on the floor by the mailbox or delivering it to a different apartment when it clearly shows the apartment number. If they werent honest, Ill be out of thousands of dollars.

2022-02-14I shipped a parcel at this spot on a Monday at 12pm. The line was short, the pens were working, and the staffs were helpful and polite. I think this is in fact one of the better USPS…

2022-07-05Lazy, slow, attitudinal and mean service. They steal packages and say delivered. Not surprising, it’s largely understaffed.

2021-12-07The People who work here are helpful, courteous and patient, however it doesn’t run efficiently. They need more staff and we need another post office or a larger one to service all of the residents of Flatbush. Be prepared to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT in line. I place blame on USPS at large and not this specific location. Flatbush doesn’t have the infrastructure to accommodate the population living here.

2021-11-20I was home all day and no one ever tried to deliver my package, so unfortunately I had to go get it, but once I was there I had a great experience! Friendly staff, a fast-moving line on a Friday at lunch time. They have windows specifically for money orders and others for all other transactions.

2021-05-22Horrible post office. Have gotten tons of packages delivered to my apartment, but this time an incredibly time sensitive package couldnt be delivered due to lack of entry. I got NO sticker or notice, so the package has been sitting in the building while I was waiting for it. Also theres always, literally, an hour long line down the block to just get into the building. Its insane people are expected to stand in hour lines to get a simple, necessary, service. Not to mention the miserable rude employees who work there. Its an utter misfortune this is my neighborhood post office.
