United States Postal Service in other cities:
NONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS HERE WEAR MASKS. STAFF IS RUDE AND THEY BEHAVE LIKE THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT. I walked in today to drop off a parcel. I was wearing my jacket and had it zipped up all the way to my nose and covering my mouth. When my turn came the lady at the counter yelled at me to put on a mask (even though she herself was NOT wearing a mask nor were other USPS staff members on other counters wearing masks). I explained I had my jacket covering my nose and mouth but she wouldnt listen. Now ordinarily I would have been ok with a business mandating its customers to wear masks but then the staff should be wearing masks too. Also, I saw the same lady shout at another old guy before me. USPS needs to train its staff on how to deal with customers.
Today August ,16,2021 around 4:25 pm I went to this post office. It’s not about race it’s about service and doing your job professionally and politely. The mid-aged Black Lady at the window is so rude. I think she doesn’t want to do her job. She has a Big Mouth. She needs to keep her mouth shut and do her job. She needs some customer service training or she should be kicked out and somebody else should be given the opportunity. If any USPS high ranking official is reading these comments, please take action . Thank You
Mask required.Place was understaffed and lines were pretty long.Otherwise the service was pretty efficient.I wouldnt suggest going here at a busy time.It also might be a little hard to find parking...Overall its quite decent, and its not like you have too many other options on this side of town.
I would give 0 if I could.Manager Michael told my 3-month old son to wait more than an hour from our scheduled appointment time only because his worker Mary went to lunch. We were at the place 15 minutes before our appointment time as USPS requires and they just refused to make their job at the time.
I went last Saturday and the person in the counter treat me really bad she yelled on me instead of talking she made me wait for no reason she don’t even let me to explain what kind of service I needed and gave me hard time other customers told me be patience otherwise she will keeping you having hard time in here!!! I am un educated person so I had all the patience but is so bad is a public place for New Yorkers and and employee don’t know how to be nice with us it was around 8 30 am on September 11 / 21 hope you have cameras and check this out thanks
Terrible, extremely rude staff! I would give 0 stars if I could. I scheduled a passport appointment a few months ago. And I got yelled at that I have to stay in the general line and wait my turn. Just for people who work in this place appointment is an arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place. If there is a huge line of people who wants to send a package (I would miss my appointment time in this case, and I came 10 minutes before the time). I should go first to the person who handles passport appointments, only because I have booked time and date in advance. The appointment is a USPS requirement, no special treatment, just do your job! Why do people need to schedule passport appointments? Also, I did not deserve to be yelled at because USPS employees hate their job. You charge me $35 for this service, it is not free, you did not give me a favor, that is your job, I did not ask you anything else! In this location employees, in general, are very rude people. Usually, I go to the Nostrand Ave location, because they are normal, nice humans work here. But Nostrand Ave had the closest appointment only in June which is why I was forced to schedule the appointment in this terrible place! Avoid this location at any cost.
I wish I could give zero stars to the mail lady from this post office who delivered mail to our building. Our regular mailman is very nice. However, that lady came out of nowhere to deliver the mail to our building and was so rude and unprofessional. Filed a complaint with the usps inspector general. Hope that lady will be fired, because she does not deserve the usps uniform and because there are a lot of seasonal usps workers that desire to have her job and that are likely very nice...
Terrible manager. She constantly runs, screams, feels like a big boss. Lady, do you even understand what prepayment is? I am not asking you to do me favors, I demand that you provide services for which I paid. Its very slow there. At the point for receiving parcels, there is a constant mess, everything falls all the time. In this post office, the management must change the manager.
They should close this place down If they don’t want to work! 2 times they’ve came to my house didn’t ring the bell just left a sticker on my downstairs door to my apartment building not even my mail box I’m home all day their is no reason for me to miss anything! They didn’t even ring my bell! Smh
The worst service here.Clerks are not patience and works as slow as sloths,Oh no, slower than the sloths.Environment is not tidy and clean. All the priority mailing supplies are empty. Self service area is always broken. The lines is too long and move very slowly. The clerk from number 1 window come and said- ‘anyone with help come to window one’. She said ANYONE, not next one from the line. WTH. Plz respect to the customers who are waiting in the lines for these sloths.
If you can, use a different post office. It is simply terrible.Update. Two years passed, I put the hold on the mail online. Came in to pick up the mail, and surely they delivered it to the place I dont live at for the past two years. This place ..... never stops to amuse me.
I had a prepaid label already on the package, walked to this wonderful post office around 3 pm to drop it off, waited on line for about 5 min...line was going pretty quick because 3 windows were opened. Handed the package to a nice lady- she asked me if i wanted a receipt, I said YES, 5 seconds later, she gives me a receipt, i say thank you and go about my day. Great Service, will come again to drop packages off
I just watched customer get denied service for not wearing a mask while at least 3 employees behind the counter were maskless, so between all the barriers set up and in place this had nothing to do with covid and more to do with the USPS employees being lazy and unwilling to work - no wonder the USPS is not making money, thats government for you
I would definitely give 0 stars if I could. The most rude customer service I’ve ever experienced. Please update your closing hours online. Hours said closing was at 1:30 on a Saturday. I got there at 1:02 and the woman behind the counter just watched me stand there for about 5 minutes without a word. I walked up to ask if they were closed since I hadn’t been helped and I was the only one inside and she yelled at me don’t you see me counting money?! I replied she didn’t have to be rude and could have just said yes we are closed. And then she had the nerve to tell me I was the rude one. Ridiculous! Hire new staff that know how to speak to people please. I think there are enough bad reviews in this site regarding terrible treatment.
I was expecting a package which failed to be delivered to my place hence I decided to go pick it up myself. The post office near my house is shut. I saw a post on the door saying something about packages - which was what I need desperately - and instructing people to visit the one thats 1.5 miles away instead. In fear of missing the operation hours, I rushed over, only to be mocked and scolded by the lady at the window who unfriendly tell me to wait until my post office reopens. Terrible feelings and super such bad taste of her customer service.
Honestly, It is really good. First of all, I never have anything missing from USPS, and I live around this area for around 15 years now. Every other postal service gives me so much trouble., I am looking at you Fedex. All my package arrive on time, nothing is ever lost, never mishandle something, never damage my goods, never lie about delivering something, and also leaves note to pick up signature package. I went in a few times to mail or pick up something, and yes the hours is a little limited, the line can get long, but I never have any problem with customer service etc. Obviously, you are not going to enter the office and have people bow to you and say welcome, idk why some reviews is so picky about that. I walk in and they help me with my stuff and I am out, really reliable and honest delivery service with hard working people.
Idk whats going on with this post office, they can never deliver my packages and when i come to pick them up it takes forever to find them. One time they asked me why i didnt have paper left my usps stating that i have package waiting for me. Very fanny, but they never left it for me. Than they rudely asked me for my ID. I mean seriously, if you need more stuff, just hire more people. The only good experience I had was when i had to deal with service automated machine to drop off my prepaid package.
Just awful. Disgusting people that work here. Everyone that works here thinks their father is the owner of this post office. Window 2 the dark skin women working their she is racist. Rude. And disgusting. The manager is also dark skinned she’s also doesn’t give a flying f about the customers experience not will she try to help you. Please do yourself a favor and visit another post office. They work like the rats they are here just terrible. Save your time and your dignity no one needs to be angry trying to mail something over the way they act.
I continually get notifications that my packages havent been delivered because they cant get in the building. In reality, they dont try, since you can walk right into the lobby and press a button to reach me at my apartment, where I would be more than happy to come down and pick it up. Lately rather than even leaving a slip and forcing me to go to the Post office, they just disappear leaving no notification at all. Not sure how Im supposed to receive anything. Incredibly disheartening the total lack of even minimal effort to do their jobs.
I wish I could give them 0 stars and a slap... lost package, called multiple times. The supervisor didn’t even communicate to the new shift that there is some package to look for. They kept promising to call, which they never did. Zero communication and zero accountability. They gathered no information about the package and they all acted like they had all the time in the world for it to get to the destination.
I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. This post office is THE WORST. The people who work there are all disgusting and have terrible attitudes, the lines are atrociously long, and the people who deliver packages are just as bad. I never get my package without some hassle on my part. Its always a hassle to get anything from them. I even tried speaking with John, the manager and he hung up on my face and was no help at all!! Avoid this post office at all costs. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews here. I’ve just submitted my passport application and the whole experience was smooth and fast. I arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment and was called to a counter exactly on time. It took only 10 minutes to process everything. The lady who accepted my documents was very nice and professional. Can’t be better! So guys, just be there on time and have all your documents ready including a photo.
Updated: thanks to politeness of Ms.Blair from USPS, i am updating to 3 stars. These guys need to learn some manners. I came to pickup package at 5:10(they were opened so ppl could walk in). Waited in the empty line for 10mins and person was doing something behind counter and paid zero attention. When i asked of they can give me my returned package, they rudely said no and that they close at 5pm.How hard is it to give a package when there is nobody in line. I understand if there were 10ppl in line but there was nobody.Very rude and lazy staff.Get a better manager and personnel please.
Avoid going here if you can! Sadly I cant always avoid it bec this is my local post office where my packages get delivered. The caucasian women behind the counter is openly anti-semitic, nasty and demeaning.(see previous reviews) My neighbors have had same experiences as I have. They dread going here.
I wish I could give this place a zero star. I went there twice, and both time was highly disappointed by the way they treat their customers. Rude, arrogant, ignorant, and little to no support shown towards the customers even if they are going for the first time. All they want is to charge you extra in any way possible. I had to return my textbooks, and luckily I bought an envelope from the store before going there. When the lady saw my label first she said I have to buy a box, and then when I showed her my envelope she said it’s ok. Then I went to the table and put my stuff in the envelope and went back in the line, but the return label was still not sticked on the envelope. The guy saw this, and knew he ain’t getting some $$ so he said either I have to go back home and use one from there, or if I want to buy from them, it is going to cost $3.50. I again steeped out of the line, and went to store across from this place, and bought a full tape for $1.00. These workers are rude to their customers, all the time, and just simply DO NOT want to help them in way. Highly disgusted by their behavior towards me, and the other customers. One lady was also, confused and she wanted some guidance and the representative just yelled at her, and made her feel bad. She ended up asking another customer. IF CUSTOMER GOTA HELP EACH OTHER, THEN WHAT ARE YOU THERE FOR?? If you are having a bad day, don’t ruin others day. Never going there again!!
I went to this post office for for first time today, and for passport services for my baby boy. I just got back an hour ago from their office. I had made an appointment online prior to going to this post office for passport services and photo services, which is an additional $15 I was willing to pay. Went I went to the post office at my scheduled time, someone there with a nasty attitude was on duty for passport services, and her name was Mary. She asked if we had everything prepared and I answered yes including that we needed photo services. She yelled at us to come to the counter 10 minutes later and we obliged. While she was doing our passport applications, she asked if we had passport photos for our son and I answered that I had applied online for photo services with the appountment. Mary went into a fit of rage and started yelling words I couldnt make out and then she went inside to go get her supervisor. When her supervisor came to see us, she said their camera wasnt working and implemented that it was our fault for not bringing passport pictures. Thats when I got mad and said it wasnt my fault that they advertised photo services online for an additional cost and it wasnt my fault their camera wasnt working, which they inform me until they asked for the pictures last minute. Mary and her supervisors claimed that I didnt tell them I needed photo services. Despite the fact that I did mention it before I went to Marys counter, it should have been in their system that I applied online for photo services and it was their lack of intellegence and skills or a failure in their systrm to notify me that passport photo services were unavailable at their location. They offered me to come in the next day at 10:15am which we couldnt do as my wife had work the next day and both parents were required to be present and start the application all over again. And before I wrote this review, I saw the reviews that were already on and saw the majority complaints about the same woman named Mary. I think everyone who wrote a review here would all agree that Mary should be removed from this post office as a priority. Secondly, the staff and supervisors need to stop blaming customers for their own shortcomings.
I usually only come here to purchase stamps or drop off a prepaid package and service is decent. Theres usually a wait, I would say at least 10 minutes. From all the times Ive been here, theres at least three workers at the window. Staff can be a hit-or-miss in their helpfulness. Theres a side door, where at times an employee will come out and help those picking up a missed package with a pink slip, this helps speed up the line.
This poor excuse for a Post Office has had my package since May 4 2020. I called the 800 number to see if they can help but of course all I recieved was the runaround. Between this Post Office and Consumer Affairs I dont know who is worse. After 50 days I get a phone telling me the package is lost and have a nice day.
I started received emails from financial companies and my auto insurance company that my address has been changed. Being worried of fraud I went straight to the postal office so they could validate my address with my driver license. Clerk at the window called another associate, she told him she doesn’t want to speak to me, the clerk said ok just write ur name and number and we’ll call u back. This was 3pm and they were completely empty I was the only client. I said no I’m here I need someone’s help let me speak to the manager. She didn’t want to come out until I started telling them I don’t want to hear No for an answer. Manager takes down my name and phone number and never calls me back. These guys are the biggest waste of money. I will find a way to form an executive complaint and highly recommend everyone to do so who has had a terrible service from them. They were joking and cursing between each other. This is a federal job act like you work there.
The worst experience ever ! The women at the window was extremely rude to me , then the supervisor ( women) was so mean and disrespectful . The only helpful person was a guy , who helped to get my package in 5 minutes instead of making a big deal to it . I hope I will never go there anymore.
The woman working in the passport department was so incredibly rude and impatient, I had to go to another post office to finally talk to a human being with helpful information. Not to mention the mystery of my missing information she decided to not give me back (costing me $20 in passport photo fees and 10 years of happiness). I’m astonished that people this incompetent are allowed to work in a post office. I recommend going to another one or the Brooklyn Public Library near Grand Army Plaza, where people are exceptionally helpful. This is my first review of a place ever, which is saying something about this place.I think her name is Mary.
Despite confirming online, multiple times, arriving fifteen minutes early, and having all necessary documentation refused service due to covid despite that being the point of scheduling the appointment. If youre not providing services, dont schedule appointments to do that exact thing.
So, we went this morning with an appointment, and then lady that attended us snapped at me because the appointments were messed up. She had 2 of us but I had done one for 4 of us. She kind of hinted that she may not be able to do all 4 of us, me, wife and 2 kids. She passed us to another guy because of that named Mr Selvin. He was truly a God send. He was so patient, helpful and just treated us like people. I pray the Lord to repay his kindness tenfold.
Absolutely horrific service, both on the field, delivering the packages themselves, and at the branch location itself. If you have anyone shipping something important to you – paying priority express, signature required, etc. – they are wasting their money. You will not get your package, I can promise you that. In the end, after paying all that extra money, you will end up finding yourself at that sh***y branch, WITHOUT notification slip b/c they didnt leave one (and how could they if I bet you that they never even came, and just marked on their machine as if they attempted the delivery), arguing with those a**holes about the fact that you were home and nobody even tried to ring the bell to give you that PRIORITY-EXPRESS-PAID-FOR mail.NOT THE FIRST TIME EITHER!!!And dont forget, no refund for you!
This post office has the most incomptent people working here. Several times I had package return to sender even though the address was correct. Other people in my building keep getting my mail and vice versa. My mail has been delivered to other buildings on multiple ocassions. I placed several compliants and the same issue still consistently happens.Today, I went to the post office to mail a package. What a nightmare! The place had no AC and the line was wrapped around twice and there was only one person working on all services. Another person was working on passports only. However, the passport agent left and then another person was supposed to come on shift. But, they were just talking to the other only working agent. Twenty minutes later, this woman was still talking and hasnt set up her station. Finally, a third agent comes and middle of my transaction she runs to go chase after the water delivery guy. Who apparently was just asking passport questions without having to wait in line that is now extended past the mailbox. This post office is terribly managed and a disgrace.
Horrible experience cost allot of money the Clerk name Selvin total refusal to scan my packages. I waited online for 30min to get refused on my prepaid packages.I never had a problem getting a receipt and my packages scanned. The post office at this location should be closed down no professionalism.
I can not understand why they have drop off box for prepaid mail, if it is always closed? Also, when you finally drop off your mail, then it sits several days in post office and getting scanned 3 days later, as just accepted. They need better workers. Period. Never seen any post office with all 1 star reviews. It yells.
WTF I had a package sent to me on 12/31/18, received a sorry we missed you notice. It said the registered mail for me would be available for pick up on 1/2/18. So I scheduled and received a confirmation that I will be picking up the package on 1/2/18. 1/4/18 they send it back to the sender, with no notification so when I come by 1/5/18 to pick it up, they were like its being returned to sender. Cant help you. Registered mail is supposed to be available for pick up for 15 days.
I called this post office on 3 occasions over a span of 2 weeks about a lost package. The first time I called I was immediately put on hold, and after waiting 20 minutes someone finally picked up but since it took me more than 0.5 seconds to find the tracking number she immediately put me on hold, which I was on for another 30 minutes. I finally hung up and called back, the same lady answered this time, but after I told her my tracking number she didnt even seem to run up the number and just told me I would receive a call back later about the package. Never received any calls. Called again maybe a week later. Someone somewhat helpful did not ask for my tracking number but told me I had to call the 1800 number to file a claim, I called the 1800 number and tried every option on the automated machine but was not able to file a claim or reach a live person. The third time I called the station 2 weeks later, the package was probably long lost by then but the man on the phone was extremely helpful, he actually looked up the tracking number and told me that the item was not at the facility and that there might have been a mistake with the scanning.
Terrible customer service!!! The clerk did not want to do her job and showing me attitude for no reason. If you are not happy with your job, work somewhere else but don’t give me false information. I had to go to a different post office where the workers were very accommodating and told me the very opposite of what this lady told me.
This Post office is one of worst in Brooklyn. Customer service doesnt exist. Personnel is horribly rude and very unprofessional. Do not have a clue how the system works. Management in this location doesnt exist.Avoid this post office. Every time i come there, i leave with a bad taste.
Quite possibly the worst post office in the United States! The letter carriers are the worst. The people behind the counters are slow, lazy and dont give a you know what. If you have a package coming to you from Amazon or eBay forget about this post office delivering it to you youll be picking it up at their office and be prepared to spend about 40 minutes in line waiting for it. If you call up to complain and ask for the postmaster youre told that there is none. Judging by all the past complaints about this office and the lack of post office leadership trying to improve it I doubt that anybody is really going to do anything from these reviews. It just shows you when government has control of the post office. Privatize the post office and watch three quarters of these morons get kicked out and save the taxpayers about $1 billion a year.
On April 30, 2018, 5 packages went missing in one day, despite USPS tracking claiming they were delivered around 2 pm in the afternoon. I personally went to the post office to speak with supervisor Ms. Cook. She claims that the substitute carrier that day buzzed our apt. and claimed that he was told to leave them outside and someone would come down immediately to pick them up. How absurd was this explanation when nobody was home that day, and if someone was, I doubt it if they would tell the carrier to dump all 5 packages outside when s/he could have easily been buzzed to put the packages inside. Ms. Cook promptly gave the carrier a slap on the wrist by telling him never to do it again. Meanwhile, Im out 5 packages & no recourse!
I just came from a passport renewal today with my mother. The lady behind the panel had zero patience! ZERO!! She would say things once and not want to repeat things twice like she doesnt have all day. WHERE DO THEY GET PEOPLE LIKE HER TO WORK HERE? It seems like shes blaming us because she has to deal with the miserable life that she has. Absolutely terrible customer service.
Well everything’s fine I guess but there’s this one lady who’s extremely rude all she does is scream at people and has an attitude with all customers that approach she needs an attitude check just saying. I believe her name is Mary extremely RUDE and everybody who works here are nasty and extremely cruel. They need a reality check with their attitude thank you.
Horrible experience with a clerk by name Lethea. I was there today to get a refund for delayed Express Mail package and she said I need to come by another week since the manager is not there to approve the transaction. I almost wasted my time finding parking spot, paying for muni meter, waiting on line. Good thing another clerk was nice and competent enough and did everything at the spot. This is not the first time Lethea is acting unprofessionally.
I am going to this usps midwood location since 1999. 21 years. I dont think the post office deserves low rating. Since everything was not online until late 2010. everything had to be done at the office, such as mailing letters, parcels, money orders, stamps, etc. Due to that, there were long lines causing more wait time at the post offic. not just this, but everywhere. The tellers always help. thy have to deal with a lot of different things. i would rate 5/5.
If I had a chance to give zero stars I would! Bunch of impolite and brainless people. Whoever delivers the package is really really lazy! I dont even get a delivery slip and conviniently the package is NEVER delivered on time! What a nightmare, makes me not wanna order stuff online. American USPS wake up and do something, have you seen the number of horrible reviews?
The worst postal service ever, even the supervisor is rude and does not even listen to anything you say. Even when there is a note at the front door the NEW mail personal never reads the notes or even attempts to deliver the packages. They are even lazy to use an elevator to come up and knock on your door, it is easier for them to just shove the package that is fragile into your mailbox without a care. HATE this post office!!!
Just called them to ask two simple questions and I was put on hold abruptly in the middle of my sentence. Called back to get a word in the second time and I got a rude answer with no details. I didnt really understand the negative reviews but now I do and I didnt even have to physically go there. And for sure, definitely wont unless my life depended on it. Seriously, rude, nasty, unhelpful people working there. Get better employees please.
The workers there are super rude. They act like they are doing you a favor when im paying them. There is older white lady there and should be fired. Then there is a black male there around 50 years old with a light beard. Hes another one that needs to be fired . I give the post over 30k a month this is unelectable ! Fire these morons !
Went here to ship a package by first-class mail today (my printer broke up and cant print the postage label from home). The customer service clerk pretended that the only way to ship with a tracking number is priority mail for $6 and refused to send it as first-class package, which is 2-3 times cheaper
Official Closing time is 5:30 but they decide to close at 5!!!!!! What’s the deal??? Some People work until 5 and they can’t use a post office because the workers feel like closing ?????? The post office company should do something or change the closing time and people won’t complain!!!!!!
This post office employs some of the most miserable people in nyc. Specifically, the older lady with a Caribbean accent as-well as a older white lady with glasses. No need to provide a story, just visit and you’ll find out for yourself.Bunch of miserable roaches behind glass.
Yeah, its true. Its one of the most depressing post offices I have ever been to. Lines are long, service is slow, some times rude and facilities are lacking. Some of the staff is definitely working hard to make it work but the rest are spoiling it for them. I hope USPS takes note and spruces this up.
If only I can give negative 5 stars I would. So unwilling to help and lazy people to look for the package. It took me 10 tries to get through to their line only to tell me my package is going back to the sender. NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH A CUSTOMER AT ALL. The government should really review their workers.. lazy people.
Government union at its worst. No accountability. If youre lucky, you get the delivery driver who cares about what he does. If youre not lucky, lies about delivery attempts, and lies about mail receptacle accessibility. If requesting redelivery, it will be done on the day after you requested with tracking not being updated at any point until after package is delivered, if it is delivered.
Impossible to get a passport, had issues tracking down a package that they attempted to deliver, no customer service at all. I honestly dont think the mail carriers try to deliver the packages, its easier for them to leave a delivery notice, but they dont leave tracking information so you cant request redelivery.
I went to pick up a package for someone else. I had everything the signed slip with the person writing my name. She told me I needed that persons ID to verify the signature.. no where in the slip does it say that, only to bring an ID refers to your own. She was very rude about it and didnt seem to care if was.
Have had to go here a few times. Only have had one good experience with one of the female employees who usually is at the first window. Unfortunately when I come here I usually have to deal with Martin, who is rude, apathetic, loud, and obnoxious. If you have to come here avoid him.
I really rather just give it a zero because it’s 5:01 PM attempted to go to the post office and postal worker said they’re closed. But the website says 530 they need to fix it.And what makes matters bad is that he allow people in after telling a few people that they are close
My god, what can I say about this poor excuse for a post office. Not only is the place dirty it’s employees there are rude and not helpful at all.i wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog. Honestly, if some people cannot deal with people then they should not work at customer service. Horrible, dispicable experience I’ve ever had. I give this place 0 stars.
By far the worst post office the worst customer service the slowest service very rude and there drivers either just leave packages outside or they deliver to someone else i have received packages that belonged to my neighbors i have receive mail that belongs to random people with totally different addresses and i have packages go missing and i get attempted delivery with out them even ringing my bell just horrible this post office needs new management and staff asap i have a buisness and if its this kind of dysfunctional working then im taking my buisness elsewhere ups is a little more expensive but gets the job done they work to help you not like usps
I was waiting for the mailman all day. When he came without even ringing a bell and checking if anyone was home ,he marked the package as undeliverable because there was no safe place to leave it even thougt he never left his truck .This kind of service is unacceptable.
One of the irresponsible staff they should sit home not in the post office wasting people money and timeI sent a package abroad the black guy in the window typed another country address now the package is stuck in jfk and I went to the post office three time they keep saying we can’t do nothing this time I will take cops with me.

2022-04-06I was very worried about a package because it needed to be signed and I was not home. I contacted USPS customer service and they connected me with the Midwood Branch. Staff were consistent with keeping in touch with me and made sure I received my package. I could pick up my package with no problem. My only complaint is that the lady at the counter could be a little more patient.

2022-06-06I have the utmost respect for people who work for the USPS. I know it can be daunting to work with difficult customers day in and day out. And yet, I genuinely feel concerned about what’s going on here— I have watched staff yell at old people and folks who speak English as a second language. I myself have had to assist folks in filling out forms because the staff has so little patience for people in this neighborhood. The lines are still confusing and staff spent 5 minutes yelling at customers about where to stand, including an elderly woman in her 80s.The clerk yelled at me For the life of me, I can’t understand why this clerk couldn’t just say something a little more patient — you don’t need to be nice, just decent, is all!!! And let’s not yell at the elderly??! What if those were your parents and grandparents being treated that way!?I understand that we all have lots of stress and even that workers may need to blow off some steam from time to time — all I ask is that they have an OUNCE more patience with their community members so that I don’t feel panicked every time I need to mail something or have a question.

2021-04-22Not use to give review but I believe that it is the best way to have the manager of the place know who they are working with...A worker (picture below) was screaming at an old lady saying that she has her own hours and she does whatever she wants. She therefore couldnt answer to a simple question such as where to drop off a letter but able to scream that its not her hours!!We understand everyone can have a bad day but cmon... some respect

2021-12-17I had a passport application appointment today for my daughter. We were in rush to keep our appointment. There wasn’t any sign on the window or walls where passport applicants have to go, so I got to the window at the counter and I was going to ask where I should wait. Obviously , not the same line where others ... the women yelled at me “I DON’T TALK TO YOU” . I said what a nice customer service!!! I went back to the line and waited for the other lady. She told me the same thing , but I still did not understand what is she talking about. Finally, I realized that I totally forgot my mask. YES, I made a mistake because I FORGOT, however post office workers still have to have a NICE manner and DO NOT GIVE AN UNACCEPTABLE ATTITUDE towards to customers!! I am not living in that neighborhood, I just found this location for renewal of a passport ... I have to tell I won’t ever be back in this location . Over more, why they did not wear their mask at all??? This was a horrible experience and these people should not work at post office at all!!!!!

2021-12-02The worst service ever. Only One pen available in the whole post office. They get mad when u ask them a question, none of them wearing a mask but they yell at you to have one. They make you wait in line but when u get to the counter that tell you to leave because you don’t have a mask. Only one window taking packages, others send customers to that window. In the end I’ve never got help so I left.

2021-09-10They should come up with negative stars. I have yet to speak with a helpful, professional, courteous USPS rep over the phone. I submitted a claim for a package that has been in transit for almost two months now; the rep called to tell me that it has been transit since July and it could be for various reasons but that she did not know what else to say me. That was it. And when I started asking questions about what to do next, I got more attitude, the same answer repeated to me 2-3 times until I was told to submit a missing mail claim, which I cant do since its not insured.End of story: my package is in transit, no arrival date in sight but I was definitely charged for shipping it. The one star goes their payment system, no failures there.
