United States Postal Service in other cities:
If you are expecting a parcel on a certain date, you will be disappointed. On several occasions, I have gone to this post office with documentation in hand that a shipment has arrived. Sometimes I am told that the package did not arrive in time for sorting that day. Sometimes the package is found somewhere in the back. A month ago, when I asked twice for an employee to look for a package that I knew had arrived several days previous, they found the package and told me that all the staff is replacement staff for the summer and they had not been told where to look for it. No apology, just “we’re new here so we can’t be expected to do our job.” Asking to speak to a supervisor or the post master is, generally, not much help. There will be many excuses and reasons for their poor customer service but never any apologies or suggestions that an improvement in service is needed. When a package arrives, sometimes you will get a notice in your PO box, so you have to stand in line to get it (there is always a line) rather than picking it up from one of the locked boxes. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for the method. When you finally get your parcel after standing in line with your card, there is usually nothing for you to sign...I am never sure why it was I had to stand in line that day when I was able to pick up a package of the same size the week before from one of the locked boxes.
I always have supported the post office. I believe they do a great job, especially the mail people. I dont know why they have that automatic machine. So far, I didnt get my postage, only the receipt. Then back to a regular person to get some help. Very frustrating, will never use the auto machine again.
I will not be returning to this Post Office ever again I had gone into this Post Office to ship out a package. And I had asked one of the staff members if they had any tape so I can tape the top of my Box and he told me to know. And then another female staff member had stated you can purchase it and I said thats the most ridiculous. And she said that by me purchasing the tape goes towards their wages. And thats how they make their money Im like excuse me its tape so I literally paid almost $4 for tape
I ship over 100 items per week out of my store. USPS Carrier came into my store with a horrible attitude saying he doesnt have time to scan my packages. He then says he will come back later. He shows up about 20 minutes later saying he can only scan 10 of my packages. I told him if you cant take them all then dont take any. He then got even more of an attitude with me and then threatened me in MY store. I call the Post Master ( Lisa ) and she had even more of an attitude then he did! I couldnt believe what I was hearing coming from the POST MASTER !!!! Screaming at me on the phone, telling me I threatened him ( I have video and audio surveillance in my store ) and calling me a liar. I couldnt get one word in without her interrupting me. I called a different PO to report her and the next day, she ( Lisa ) calls me back. I told her I didnt want to speak to her and she started screaming at me, literally screaming! She then hung up on me!!! Worst experience that I have EVER had with USPS in the 10 years I have been doing business with them
Nobody ever answers. I get it but. All the options were not what I was asking for. I simply wanted to know who my mail man was for my street cuz every time I go out to get the mail it is somebody different in the truck. there has to be a specific person for my route. I do Christmas cards and I wanted to put a name to it. But you cant reach a human being to ask.
I have never dealt with a carrier as rude as the one here, walked into my place of employment with a huge chip and attitude in place, was the rudest person for his type of work, If you have no customer service skills, find a job where you dont deal with people. When contacted the head postmaster Lisa it was like poison shooting from her mouth.......REALLY?!?!?!?!? IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE THE PUBLIC AND CONFRONTATION THEN GET A JOB YOU DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE !!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

2022-02-28The manager does not effectively check to make sure lost packages are found he lets them steal things. Which the lost items get sold to a online auction site. Im pretty sure they all work together to lose packages. Maul always late or missing he does not care. Im so tired they need to do a run through of this place and get the ppl that are stealing, the manager that does nothing regardless of complaints and do an investigation on why is there an incentive for lost packages that directly benefit the company in online sales afterwards. What is going on over here. I need all my mail. I dnt need people picking out what they want b4 I get it

2021-06-30I like the Post Office Service, there are many products available but would like to have a choice of Forever stamps in The African American Heritage FOREVER stamps. The clerks claim is its sold out or not available in the African Heritage products too. Suggestions get more African American Heritage Stamps because its always sold out and its a popular demand. I would have gave it 5 stars if the product was there like the many available other choices of stamps..

2021-03-03Well, I hope Katie sees this. It was nice meeting you again. I had a passport appointment set for 9 AM. Everything was going good, until the end. Katie the worker that was working on my application, mustve had a bad coffee from Tim Hortons this morning. She asked me how I would like to pay. I didn’t quite understand her at first. So then politely, I said “I’m sorry, can you repeat that?” And then she responded with major attitude and started talking louder. When it came down to me signing the passport application, I didn’t know I had to read the box above the signature box about if everything on the passport I’ve filled out is correct. First, she never told me to read it. 2nd, she was already telling me what the box was talking about but as I was signing, she shoves me hand out of the way to read the box. Like I’m sorry, but during a pandemic why are the employees touching other customers? Why is she touching me in the first place? The minute I walked through the door, I knew Katie was a Karen. So sorry, maybe you should tell your employees that they should keep their hands to themselves especially during a pandemic

2020-06-13I have to agree it is always very difficult to get an actual postal worker on the line. Sometimes time sensitive packages or mail are held up bc the post office deemed a packed possibly an explosive 1x. (It was 2 books being sent to my little grandkids for a special occasion.) Needless to say I am horrified. Again, I have a time sensitive package, but could not get to post office on my own. I was afraid to mail it w/o first talking to an agent. No one picks up a phone. It repeats the menu continuously. Automation is really bad for most government accounts. You would think they had the best.

2020-02-01The first man I spoke to Was an older gentleman who told me they didn’t have my package. Looked for thirty seconds before telling me this. He needed to clock out so my package wasn’t his concern clearly. Had to have a manager come assist me and magically my package was right there. What a joke.Get better employees who are willing to DO THEIR JOB. More concerned about his cellphone and clocking out then even looking for my package that was right up front.

2020-07-31I bring 20+ packages a day and this is the only usps that works with me and doesn’t give me a nasty look when I walk in cause I have so many packages everyday. This is my business and I need to drop them off. The people at galleria drive help me nicely and let me drop off at side door. Love my Walden galleria people they help me every time now 👍👍

2019-12-17Im a Cheektowaga resident that is extremely upset with the Galleria Dr Post Office. I went there Dec 10th to ship a Christmas package to AZ and pay 2 day priority shipping. I got a tracking number and insurance up to 50.00. The package was suppose to reach my dad no later than Saturday the latest. My dad didnt get his package til yesterday when he had to go to the post office in Scottsdale because my post office in Cheektowaga didnt put postage on the box. So I paid over 51.00 to send it to him and he had to pay 16.17 to take the box home. Im extremely embarrassed that my father had to pay to receive my gift and that I paid all this money for nothing. Im currently waiting for the post office to open and ask for my money back. I have proof. I have my reciept. I have a picture of my dads reciept and the package that says no postage and due 16.17. Id like to know how my package left a post office unposted and went clear cross country. Explain that one. Very upset.

2018-08-17Lost yet another package and or mail. First it was 2 checks from my employer, now a package from my cousin. First time I called (a few years ago) the lady went nuts on me and said if I come to the post office shed call the police on me. For looking for my package? This time the guys on the phone promised to find my package and call me back by business day end. (Was supposed to be delivered a week ago) . No call and tomorrow is Saturday. Guess I can say I will never know what Was In my package. Whats the point of sending anything USPS anymore? I wish people would just send ups or FedEx. At least they care and call to try and deliver your stuff. Why is USPS down? Maybe stations like this.
