I went to the post office to drop off a box, but before going there I check into heir website and it says to be open until 6:00 pm, so I think you update the schedule on your site and not on the outside of the door,and specially when it says that its open at 6:00 am ,so today its Friday and I guess Im going to have to guess what te should because not even on Saturday the schits not going to be as the same as your website.
I use this facility every week to ship packages to my customers and have never had a problem. Outside of peak hours, the lines are never too long and the service is decent, which the staff being polite and relatively helpful.
The only post office that has parking for its employees and not the public. That is only one of my issues but nobody cares and the post master is always out, sick or whatever

Is ashame how I have to wait days to get my mail from this place, sometimes it comes on time and sometimes mail that suppose to come on the day that it should I get the following day. This doesn’t make no sense. What’s going on?
I put letters in the mailbox right outside the building and some of them never got delivered. Everytime I go in there is a small line and somehow it takes forever to get to the front.

2021-08-31Excellent passport services at this post office. Usually the turn around time is many weeks but I literally received my passport within 3 weeks of applying. They definitely expedited the application more than I could’ve imagined. The staff was very friendly, even with me redoing the application 3 times lol the clerk was very patient and informative. Overall the place is very clean. Very organized, beautiful glen cove area

2021-06-13I just moved out of Glen Cove to another state. I filled out my change of address May 24 2021. I still have not gotten my mail forwarded as of 6/112021. I lived in Glen Cove for 5 years and in that time I cant tell you how many times they screwed up my mail. Either they delivered it to.the wrong PO Box or never received it at all.Glen Cove Post Office has to be the worst in the country.

2019-11-27I like the people behind the counter. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Yea, like any post office, sometimes there is a line and you have to wait. Oh well. I like the oldness of the place. A real piece of Glen Cove history. Out front I notice that the few spots for 15-minute parking are usually taken and I have to park back behind the library. Keep up the good work.

2021-03-16Bills have not arrived, A letter from Melville mailed on February 22nd didnt arrive till March 11. For the 2nd time my PSEG bill did not arrive. My national grid bill has not arrived. Is this a problem with my local delivery man?

2020-05-27If I could give a 0 I would...they have sent me the wrong mail on several occasions during the past several years and I went out of my way to go and deliver it myself. Dont receive mail that I was suppose to. Id hate to see who receives my mail. Workers have a very bad attitude and are very rude. Always go to Locust Valley much more professional and friendly. Wish they could close it down.

2018-06-08This place is the absolute worst. I come in yesterday to pick up a package that had arrived there that morning and the person at the desk tells me that I cant get it because they havent sorted it out yet and to come back tomorrow morning. I call up to make sure that Id be able to get my package the next morning and the man on the phone assures me that I will, as long as I bring the tracking number. Then this morning, I go there as soon as they roll up the gates and they tell me that I cant get it because they dont have enough manpower to retrieve it for me. Absolute disgrace to the name of the USPS.
