When I have a package to drop off, using self-service makes the process seamless; would recommend for anyone that typically doesn’t have issues with self-checkout! My only issue is with the people. I’m sure this, like many services jobs, is a stressful job. However, I do think that if you engage a customer, the customer asks a question, and you just walk away with no answer and don’t return, that’s a bit much. Walking away after giving an answer, that makes sense, but if the employee won’t talk to the customer, who will? Here for the self-service though!

5 stars and a round of applause to Tiffany who helped me expedite my passport. She exudes positive energy and builds great relationships with locals who come into the post office.

I had a wonderful experience when I went for my passport appointment. Things have changed ofcourse due to the pandemic. So for precautions measure we have to schedule an appointment through the post office website just to make things clear. There is no longer walk-ins. Make sure you bring all original and photocopies documents accordingly with the application with you. You can pay your fees and have your photos taken with them as well. Cheryl the clerk who attended me was very helpful, informative and courteous. I felt very comfortable she was such a pleasure. I really dont understand the poor rating but my experience was very pleasing we need more Cheryls in this staion.

Recently I visited the same Post Office station at 229 East 85th Street, Manhattan with my family for passport renewal and I had a very pleasant experience with the clerk #23. He was extremly kind and professional. He gave back my trust to the US Postal Services. Thank you.Slow and poor service. The stuff are extremely rude. They are unfriendly and not at all helpful. I have always problem with them. I wanted to give zero or minus star but it is not possible but that is what they earn.

The staff at three different post offices in or near the zip code 10075 could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Calling by phone, I was hoping they could intercept a package that had the correct street, but the wrong address. They tracked down the mail carrier and were able to get my package to the correct address while I was on the phone with them! Kudos to every staff member I spoke with- you made my holiday a great one!

Went to get a passport for my son, and was turned away due to no appointment in the system. Next appointment wasnt until a month out. There were no customers in the post office, and I had the application filled out and my documents ready. All they needed to do to was take payment and a headshot.. I understand we went through a pandemic, but the city is opening up on July 1st, and if hospitals can take walk-ins so can they.....

I needed QR codes scanned so they can print my labels but the first guy got frustrated with me as it was not scanning and started aggressively dismissing me citing I had faulty codes. So I went to another clerk in case the scanner that first guy had was broken, but this second guy had same issue and then yelled at me saying I am wasting his time and other customers. I was trying to help him understand how it works, but he was so aggressive and pushy I decided to leave, and contact the company that gave me the qr codes. after I reviewed with that company the situation, they then advised me that the usps workers were scanning the wrong part of the documents. but I feel like, usps should have known what to scan. so I am going to attempt to do this a third time.......but they should have known how to help troubleshoot and not have been dismissive and confrontational. it would have saved everyone time. I filed a complaint. these two old mens behavior was unnecessary and they came across as incompetent.
