Horrible customer service, very rude, and cannot take responsibility for repeatedly messing up deliveries. Virtually every other carrier has had no problem delivering to my address but somehow USPS manages to consistently mess up and deliver to somewhere completely different even though they are given the exact same information as every other carrier. Whats more, theyve lost my packages entirely, and pretended like it never happened.
So first of all they somehow misread the address my sender PRINTED out and delivered it to the wrong address... I find that out after I give them a call and calmly goto the address that they delivered it to. I knock on the door and a nice lady comes out then I calmly ask her if she got my package around the time it has been scanned and she said no she did not receive any packages around that time. At this time I had the manager on the phone snd he says to check the houses AROUND the house where it wasnt even supposed to be delivered to.. then I ask him if he can contact the delivery person to ask what happened to my package 2 hrs go by no phone call. I decide to call their office again like 10 times most of the time the guy kept picking up the phone and hanging up on me. This is the worst post office in hidtory.. this place needs to be shut down
Updated 2019:Although it is slightly easier to get in touch with a Supervisor and sometimes they actually answer the phone, these guys STILL manage to claim scanned & delivered when I HAVE NOT received my packages!!! Amazon needs to drop USPS as a delivery client!!! These guys cant handle delivering packages to the correct address, let alone delivering packages when they claim they did!! Im missing several packages over the years and most recently this week (March 5th). The most overrated and unreliable service Ive ever known...My first review:Perhaps the worst P.O. on the planet.... Even after an intervention by Representative Grace Meng in 2015/6, this place is back to its old ways. Non-regular carriers who consistently misdeliver mail and/or intentionally scan/falsifying packages as attempted deliveries ALL THE TIME...(done to me at least 5 times)! I constantly get my neighbors mail - literally everything just dumped into my box (both easily discernable by Apt. #, or last name & mailboxes are CLEARLY marked A/B)...this is consistent/constant when my regular carrier is out. These ppl dont care one iota about doing the job properly. The only star is for the staff being friendly inside the post office & my regular carrier who does a great job, who replaced my last, awesome, regular carrier after he retired.
Worst post office ever! Try sending all of your complaints to the head of the post office or the government. They hire anybody in there. They all have bad attitudes and dont do their jobs right. They always hold your mail and never deliver it on time. Every time I walk in there theyre fighting with a customer and the cops are being called. I payed for over night shipping and didnt get my package in a week because they were too lazy to deliver it. And this has happened too many times. Seriously ridiculous. They need to close it down and just start all over again with a new store and better people!!
Negative 0 rating This is the worst post office ever! All my packages were delivered to my neighbor (one block away from my house). Delivery address on my packages were 100% correct but they delivered to the house one block away from my house?! Luckily the person received my packages whose so nice that she bring all the packages to me. This is ridiculous!!! Sadly their customer service is not even existent either.
Today is Thursday March 26, 2020 in mid of vivid-19 at 1215 pm window persons both male and female were totally rude customer service was just an insult to most of the people. They made me go twice home to bring some info for my package and both time very rudely was treated and never got my package because both times was asked for wrong info. Hope they change the staff. Feel bad for locals who deal with them🤨
The most terrible post office ever . They constantly steal my packages. Filed a complaint with the fraud dept and I doubt anything will come of it. I would not be surprised if the supervisor was also in on all the theft. They steal such items from me like my babies clothes ! Hair clips! Shoes ! Etc!!! I don’t know what they do with all my items. They look like they are all from the hood. I have never in my life had a package stolen until I moved to this neighborhood. I don’t understand how they can still be employed and not in jail for theft. They once stole my babies diapers!! It is so terrible that they don’t care about people. People like this should not be working in such establishments . This is a federal crime!! I once received someone’s income tax by accident it was put in my mailbox! Can you imagine if that was delivered to someone and they stole the social security number of that person!? I put the letter back in to the drop off blue box and I hope to god it was delivered correctly the second time. I truly truly hope that something is done about this pos office. I have filed a complaint and will continue to do so until appropriate steps are taken to stop the theft commited by these people
Ive called on various occasions, I made a call today because, I had a delivery made from UPS to the Post Office for pick-up, and no one picks up the phone. The phone simply continues to ring and no one ever picks up the phone. From observation, the Post Office may not have enough employees. Ive waited on long lines on many occasions. The employees seem overwhelmed, Ive encountered ONE employee taking care of more than 15 customers on a single line. It seems theirs a management issue.
I agree with every single comment. This has to be the worst post office ever. No one ever answers the phone & the Manager, I cant lie, he did help me...but he looked completely overwhelmed. I kinda felt bag for him. Honestly, I dont know what the issue is nor how this location remains open.Everything about fake deliveries and packages is true. In fact, they dont even make a 2nd attempt by me. I have to pick it up myself the next day & some of the staff looks lost.Someone please help them! They need a BRAND NEW START!!!
Worst post office. Lost my item and lost me a lot of money. Tracking shows it was never picked up from facility. There are only two tellers at any given time when the amount of volume this post office gets during busy hours should have at least 3 ppl working. Just not worth the aggravation.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but this will have to do. I had 2 packages that were due to be delivered June 4th. I was home all day waiting for my packages even had a note on the front door of my building to please ring 2B for my package. No one ever rang. Ended up calling the usps customer support the next day and they said one of my packages was marked as DELIVERED when it was most certainly NOT. My other package was supposedly at the post office for me to pick up. So I get there Monday, June 6th to pick up my package and they told me it wasnt there and it was being re delivered, someone was home all day Tuesday and still NO packages. Checked online again and it said there was no secure location to leave the package/resident was not home. LIES. So I went there today (June 10th) as soon as they opened at 9am. I was there over an hour and they insisted that my packages were not there and that they would not call the delivery drivers to see if they had it. Supervisor told me he would call me as soon as the drivers got back but guess what? NO CALL. So I get off work at 4:45 to rush to the post office because they close at 5pm. I showed up at 4:58 and supervisor was guarding the door telling me they were closed and would not let me by. I showed him the time on my phone and said to move out of my way. So I wait 30-45 minutes to be helped and they told me 3 times that my packages were not there and the only thing I could do was come back tomorrow at 7am to talk to the manager. THE COMPUTER AND USPS SUPPORT TEAM SAID MY PACKAGES WERE THERE! I demanded them to keep looking (all the while the supervisor was very very rude to me) after another 15 minutes or so they magically found my packages. Seriously worst experience Ive ever had with a post office. I have Amazon prime and now it is useless if they just pretend and fake delivering packages. If you can, avoid this office like a plague. 😤
They dont deserve even this one star. If you see some bad reviews on Google, trust them. There must be reason people give low stars.They tried to deliver a parcel and I was not at home. I do work for full-time which means I wont be at home although theyre gonna try to redeliver it. Additionally, they do close the office too early (9AM-5PM? Come on!) unlike the one in main st. I cant even pick it up then!So, I called them to ask whether they can just leave the parcel in fron of the door if I authorize them to forge my signature. A lady picked up the phone and I was surprised! Because most of people said they never pick up the phone! I was thinking wow Im kinda lucky!After I said Hi, How are you doing today! The reason Im calling......She didnt even let me finish talking and then she put me on waiting line.Speechless. I was waiting on phone but THEY NEVER COME BACK TO ME.
Service, Staff and Location are awful. They are extremely disrespectful and lines are often out the door. Nothing like waiting on a 30 minute line just to be greeted by a post office employee that says she going on break and you need to wait for some other grumpy employee to come. (True story, mind you there were people behind me too)
Negative zero rating if I could!! The clerk refused to scan the Pre-paid postage label & give me a receipt for my package that I was giving them to deliver. I asked for the supervisor and was greeted by a very arrogant man professing to be the manager of the post office. He also refused to give me a receipt so that I could track my package. When I asked why he simply said we dont do that, its not our policy or procedure. I refuted his answer by stating that on every other occasion, at several other post offices in Queens, and Manhattan, that I was always given a scanned receipt for my packages. I now cannot track my package. Nor do I have proof of when I left my package at the Kew Garden Hills post office other than this posting Im making an hour after dropping it off. I will be reporting Mr. Francis OBremski for not doing his job, and for allowing his staff to take advantage of the public by not properly serving us. If I could have given this post office a negative rating I would have!!
This post office is terrible.They delivered my certified mail to wrong address, an address i never heard of. The manager there kept insisting i put that wrong address on my envelope, and that they dont make mistakes like this, i never even heard of the address they delivered it to in manhattan. I asked how i can complain about this , she said there is nothing i could do. Next day i called another post office and the manager there told me what went wrong. The clerk put the wrong label on my enveople, that they delivered my rent envelope by label tracking not address that i wrote on the envelope. She also filed a complaint for me and said she would try to get it back for me. Thats customer service, the manager in main street post office should be retrainedAlso my receipt said that i had picked up on that day 3 mail, i guess it meant envelopes, i didnt not again incorrect. Put me through a lot of stress, not to mention paying 30.00 to canceal my rent check. All because people can do their jobs right
I dont think theres a worse post office. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago according to the tracking number and Ive been here twice already and they just defer me to other people. They finally got me my package after my third time coming in. Not to mention the line is ridiculously slow.
I wish I could put 0 stars. I found so many bad reviews while in search for a phone number. After reading the reviews a part of me was relieved I want the only experiencing this horrible service but was also shocked at how bad their delivery was. Two days in a row different packages claims attempted delivery never once ring the doorbell and left no notice. I live in 06 and mix us up with the building 16...tried calling to see where the hell my package is...NO ANSWER they worst service I could imagine ughhh
FAKE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS, lost $500 shipping a package worth of $1000 to my customer. Had insured for only for $500 as I ship package daily and sometimes take a chance not insuring for full value. Package needed signature, so when my customer talked with P.O.manager, the manager told him, someone had stolen the package from mailmans cart!.I have not even came across a similar scenario in 15 years of shipping items to many people. I have filed with Postal Inspector, I think there should be a criminal investigation for this particular post office.
There are few people on this planet that are as rude as the staff in this post office. One of them was even brought from another terrible post office a few blocks away and she is just so incredibly obnoxious and difficult. You could literally be the only person on line and have to wait 10-25 minutes for service. DO NOT GO HERE!
This post office is expert at fake scans of packages. They continuously fake scan saying business closed, mail receptacle blocked or worse Not home. While you are in your residence waiting for your package. This is total FRAUD and Postal HQ in Washington DC needs to investigate this post office. Mail continuously delivered to the WRONG address. Postal service workers delivering mail are continuously on the phone or listening to music while on company time and delivering mail incorrectly. Its almost like no one can read at this post office - from mail sorters to postal delivery men and women are all illiterates. Why even have a phone when no one ever picks up? Where is the Postmaster of this post office? Worse post office in the US!
I love this office! I can drop my prepaid packages without waiting in line, I can just open window and drop it. Thank you guys for easy service! )I live on Brairwood and im driving every day for drop, because my post office on Brairwood doesn’t accept drop pre paid packages and I must wait in the line!!If you think this worst post office- you are mistaken. Worst experience with these unprofessional people. I would love to curse them out on here but I’m not going to stoop that low. THey obviously have an issue with answering the phone, one of the “workers” picked up the phone laughing and hung up on me. Still waiting for my package to be “redelivered”. If I could give this place 0 stars I would , they’re like they got 1 star from me. This place needs to shut down and all the workers need to be fired for their poor work habits. What a disgrace.
Packages are being ripped open to see whats inside, have had multiple packages stolen when they look like a cell phone box, USPS needs to investigate this location they are tampering with mail, if a private citizen did this they would lock us up, this is unacceptable.
Ive lived in this neighborhood since the early 70s. Consistency is the best description of this location. Consistently horrific service. They make you feel as if they are doing you a favor. Id rather drive 10 miles to the JFK Airport facility than to walk 4 blocks to this disaster zone... Avoid at all costs if possible... or take an UBER to Queens Blvd. Youll thank me. No Stars... I ordered an item from eBay June 8th 2016. The package was to be delivered to me on June 14th. The package never arrived on June 14th, as stated. After not receiving the package I did a tracking on the package, and it said that a label was created on June 10th. Today is June 22, and still no package. I told my girlfriend that I bet someone at the post office kept my package. After reading other complaints I believe some crook at the flushing post office did steal my package.
The people can be helpful sometimes but the lost my package. In fact, they didnt even scan it. Its just sitting around some where i guess. Its been two weeks and the package hasnt reached its destination because the people who work there forgot to do the main thing they are there for
This place is a disgrace. They make fake delivery attempted records on Amazon packages. I order 2 short audio cables with NO signature confirmation and can easily throw in my mailbox (like they did before), they just made up an delivery attempt. In fact I was at home all day.
Wish i could give 0 stars. I called this since i entered AVE instead of RD for my delivery by mistake. The female who picked up was rude. She sucked her teeth and said you been doing this a lot! . Dont know who she was confusing me with. I asked if it was return and she replied loudly and sounding annoyed I DONT KNOW. Did not want to help, will call 800# and try to resolve my issue that way
False delivery attempts, stolen packages, customer service is nonexistent. Here is what you have to do if you ordered through Amazon Prime: call them, have them call USPS, and file a complaint so they can do an investigation. Other than that, fake deliveries are in our future
FAKE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS!!Amazon stated that the shipment was attempted but no one was home. But I was home at the time of delivery, but there were no slips left on the door; no one rang the doorbell; AND no sign of delivery at all.Trying to contact the store right now but there is no response. This is my 6th try.
I see people talk about fake delivery attempts and thats what happened to me as well, I was home waiting for a package and they attempted to deliver and left a note, I Checked immediately and no note was left at all, it gets better when you call the office and no one answers.

2022-04-25Careless staff , slow service, not worried about any accountability. Poor management.They don’t accept business customers prepaid packages through window. They discouraged business customers and left the packages outside the entire day . Someone can easily steal and walk away.

2020-09-14This is the worst post office ever, whoever the supervisor is should be fired or retrained. Today, 914/20, their website is down, as it has been for three weeks! No money orders, no credit card payments, no international mail. They have three windows and yet only one window open today. Packages are constantly sent to the wrong address. My mail is put in my next door neighbors mail box on a regular basis and vice versa. Ive seen the delivery men throw boxes up to the house. I track packages that say delivered only I never got them. The people who work in THIS post office pay no attention to what they are doing, or else how could a package be mis-delivered if they paid attention to reading the address and making sure they were at that address? Something needs to be done, this has been going on for years with no improvement. A complete overhaul Is necessary, starting with the supervisors!

2021-11-07I dont they manage the workers here very well. Many times through out the day only 1 window is working. Branch Manager never around, they can never find him. If you coming here give yourself plenty of time to spend in here.

Every package I’ve ever ordered has been either lost or not delivered on time due to the laziness and carelessness of the employees that work here. This post office needs new management and a new staff and maybe, just maybe it will become a better post office.

2021-06-02I give them a 2 because I feel its the people they have in charge and not the workers all the time. Not enough windows opened, and they dont seem to engage with the customer. The place could be picked up more. I go over to Fresh Meadows, Horace Harding, and around 190th St. which is out of my way then here because of the service and the atmosphere. They are a depressing lot. Management needs an overhaul ASAP.

2020-06-19I have been waiting for a package since June 1. It was supposedly out for delivery on June 9 (the tracking info was never updated after June 9). I never received the package and received a phone call from the Kew Gardens Hills post office on June 17 indicating my package was leaking and they were going to throw it away. I told them NO I want my package delivered. The postal employee indicated that they were going to throw it away and because it was insured I would just receive my money back. After a drawn out conversation she indicated and assured me that it will be put on the truck and delivered on June 18 to my residence. It is now June 19 said package was never delivered. We just returned from the post office where the manager indicated that the package was never in their possession or their facility which is a blatant lie. He could not explain why I received a call from that specific post office indicating that they had the package and it would be delivered. He also indicated that the package had the wrong delivery zip code which is also another lie. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST post office. Blatant likes and deception should not be tolerated. I must add that I had three incident numbers for this package and was supposed to have a supervisor call me back on at least four different occasions. The only call I ever received was on June 17. I also placed several calls, at least five, to the district office to no avail. The district office seems to operate in the same manner...things trickle downward. I try to support the USPS but will now use Fedex. IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND TO BE TOLD BLATANT LIES then patronize the post office located at 75-23 Main Street, Kew Gardens Hills, NY, you will not be disappointed.

What the heck is going on?????Edited September 25, 2020Im now missing a third package that says delivered to mailbox and package has never arrived, left signs at front of building and front door, yet I have failed to see my packages cleared off and handed to someone at my door. FedEx packages were all delivered, USPS failed to deliver all my packages. You guys have the worst service available
