Absolutely the worst post office I have ever experienced. Bunch of unhappy people working there, they move slowly and are unpleasant and rude. In the back they must have a mess because at times they cannot find packages for days, sometimes they refuse mail and packages for no reason. Brace yourselves if you must use this location.
Worst post office. Came for passport services for my little brother but the lady working there denied us saying we did not have proof of legal guardian even though my dad was with us. She kept yelling at us telling us to bring court papers to proof legal guardian. The lady was very rude. People like these should not work here here.
I dont find the staff to be rude here at all. But the lines are outrageous and there is usually only one person working at the window. One nice thing I can say is that they tend to open a few minutes earlier than the posted hours. I got there early this morning and was third in line. Within a couple of minutes there were 18 people behind me and only one person working. The customers were way ruder than the staff, though. A bunch of old Archie Bunker types muttering under their breath about how the world is going to he**.
They are liars I send the package of 8 pounds I paid for 115 dollars They said that it takes at maximum 10 days and its almost one month and still the receiver didnt get it when I checked the tracking number the package still here in New York at JFK AirportBad experience never do it again
The Carrier who delivers to my building has given up on delivering packages. I used to get small packages in my mailbox, and still do? But the last few days any larger box I get a salmon slip. He/she doesn’t ring our bell, doesn’t leave it by the mailboxes where all the other packages are, he just leaves a slip. This is terrible service during a pandemic.
No handicap access. At least not any that I can find. Nothing posted. Some staff very helpful, but most are barely functional. Multiple times I have witnessed staff on their phones while there is a line of people waiting. One of them walked away while I was talking to her. Many of them just don’t seem to care.
Actually they don’t deserve 1 star. They’re customer service is always awful. Very slow & lazy. I’m expecting a heavy package. Checked the tracking and it said “Out For Delivery”. I was home all day and checked again later in the same day and the tracking said “ Ready For Pick At Post Office” What ?? There was no attempt to deliver and no pink slip left. Carrier probably to lazy to lift the package. I called the Post Office directly and no one ever answers. I called the national # and scheduled a redelivery for today. Guess what ?? No delivery. The saga continues !!
Worst USPS I’d rather set myself on fire than to choose going to this place, 2 workers 2 in the back when there’s a 20+ people line don’t go here only go here if you would like time wasted when they tell you somethings wrong with the package when you get there. DO NOT GO TO THIS USPS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
If Zero stars were available, then this post office would surely get it. Sadly this location is the most convenient location for me, being a Jackson Heights resident. I went in today to mail out a package at 11:15am. Both the self service kiosks were down. Funny thing is, the other day while waiting on line, both kiosks were down, and as i waited on line for 25 minutes the clerk who was out and about on the floor, asking people if they were picking up packages went and rebooted the kiosks. Why it took him until 1030 that morning to realize if they get rebooted then they are ready for use. Anyways today i was lucky to find a small line-i was the 4th person in line waiting. While there were 3 windows open with clerks, two of them were handling passport related issues. How is it that on a Saturday of the only 3 windows open-when its a busier time, and short hours, there were only 3 windows open? Two clerks kept calling people from the line and had made a 2nd line of people standing right where the customer line was for passports. One stupidvisor comes out and walks the line asking if anyone was picking up packages. One lady said that she was, and was told that she had to continue to wait in line. Why bother asking then? The lady in front of me, who kept waiting to be seen at the window asks why there were 2 clerks handling passports, when the line was increasing-there were now 9 people waiting in line. The stupidvisor barked at her that there was only one line for passports and to wait, and if she doesnt want to wait then come back later. The guy standing behind me in line yelled out something to an older gentleman who got on the passport line, and when the old guy was called-the guy behind me jumps out of the line and joined him. The old guy got on the passport line, went to the window and sent a piece of mail out. He wasnt even there for a passport. I have never seen anything quite like this. As a former employee for USPS, i am thoroughly disgusted at the way we were treated here. Im embarrassed for the postal service. When I finally get to the window the clerk has an apple air pod earbud in one ear, half her name tag was wiped off, so i couldnt even get her name if i wanted to. No AC, long lines, RUDE employees, and just a plain and simple s@$t show at this location.
A package was supposed to arrive on 5/24 and it never did. I recieved a notification from the USPS App that they returned the package to the post office and it was ready to be picked up. I went early on 5/25 and the worker couldnt find my package. She had NO answer for me but, I dont know where your package is. I cant find it. I went home with the hope of it being delivered that day and of course, it never arrived. I returned to the post office on 5/28 at around 4:30pm The same worker attended me and was still clueless. Again she had no answers for me. She asked for my phone number, said she was gonna look for the package and would call me back. Of course, she never did. On 5/30 I rescheduled a delivery for 6/1 on the app, as a last hope. Of course, my package never came. Its obvious that they lost my package. What upset me more was how incompetent and clueless the worker was. The customer service and handling of the situation was horrible.
9 sent out of 10 packages... this week you guys lost one. so far you have lost 10% of the products I send.. not a good thing, I left the other post office because they also misplace package. plus, you never even wanted to see if the item was in your location. did not even want to see my tracking number... they found the package.... so I raised the # of stars.... so far 15 packages send all delivered.... your are better than the 8027 Broadway post office... since they changed the staff, they suck.
Agree with all negative feedback. Worst USPS office. I am already missing one of my package that they marked as Delivered. They took my number and address and said would contact with me within one business day, but they never did. Then i had to call them and they gave me the consumer service number. So I called the consumer service but they never picked up my call. Left voice mail as instructed but didnt heard from them yet. Delivery guys hardly deliver items to me. They dont even ring the bell but leaves the notice. So most of the time I gotta pick it up. Also customer service in the office so poor. The supervisor is very rude. This guy gotta go back to school to learn how to talk to people with respect
Expected a package and when I call I get a machine. After entering my tracking number I am told that they were unable to deliver my package... no note on my door no ring of my bell nothing.. I was home at the time of so-called “delivery” HORRIBLE SERVICE they need an overhaul.... getting paid good money working for USPS and these ungrateful people have no initiative to do their jobs correctly. FIRE THEM ALL!!!!!!!
I was waiting for an important parcel at home on my day off, since status of the parcel i was awaiting was marked as Out for Delivery on the USPS website. When I checked the status online in the early afternoon (waiting for the buzzer to ring all day) the status was marked as no safe place to leave package (with a notice in the mailbox) when I had clearly been home all day. Postman never rang the buzzer. Incompetent service and an utter disgrace to the neighborhood and all its residents who rely on this branch.
Horrible customer service both at post and with delivering packages. They female collecting the pink slips for pick up was angry because as per her phone conversation she wanted to go somewhere else. Picked my slip and proceeded to walk out the door down the block and disappeared for 20 min. They act like your inconveniencing them at their job.
I hate this place! They lie to customers and say they attempt to deliver items but dont ring your bell. I was home all day waiting on a package. This has happened many times. The workers at the post office are rude to you as well. No one picks up the phone. If by some miracle they do you are left on hold then given so BS excuse.
Not the worst post office in person (as in if you visit this location to ship packages out). Wait average I find is 10-30mins.In regards to having packages delivered, I do have one major gripe that other folks in Jackson Heights have experienced as well, and other usps offices do not do. If youre package tracking shows it might arrive early, DO NOT EXPECT IT TO ARRIVE EARLY. This office will mark the package as reciprocal blocked and wait to deliver it till the day it should be delivered (or the day after). Aka, they push their workload back, using expected delivery dates as an excuse. This has happened multiple times to me and my neighborhood associates, when our reciprocals are not blocked, we are home waiting for our bells to ring (that never happens), etc. (you get the picture)
If you are supposed to deliver a package to a residence, and you dont complete the delivery, a pink slip is supposed to be left behind with inforation on when it will be attempted again. Furthermore, I live very close to this post office yet packages delivered to my area are always last to be delivered. That makes absolutely no sense. Please supervisors or managers in this post office, do your job and regulate your workers. If I performed this poorly in my job I would have been fired a long time ago.
This post office is one of the worst. Went here to renew a passport. They make you wait in line for four hours. You better get here before seven and bring a sleeping bag with you because they are gonna make you wait forever before any of them actually want to serve you. There is this woman here with the name tag of Angela. She was the one who had to renew the passport. Very rude and very disrespectful. She told us we made a mistake with our form. After waiting for four hours, she tells us to go and do it over. She yelled NEXT as she glared at us with her beady eyes. When we filled it out again, we went to her again after waiting for her to be done with another person. She says that its still incomplete and yells NEXT. She says we havent filled out the passport number and information. The funny thing is, she had the passport with her the whole time and didnt give it back to us from before. When we tell her that, she yells at us to shut up and throws our passport. How were we supposed to fill it out when she had the book the whole time. Horrendous service. After four attempts and five hours wasted in line, she did it for us with a solemn look on her face. When we try to call and complain, no one wants to pick up the phone. No supervisor nothing to complain to. As everyone else here said, terrible place. Funny thing though, whats written on the window is. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. What a laugh.
Called regarding holding my mother’s package at the post office considering she wouldn’t be home to accept it and lives in an apartment building and the person I spoke with was extremely rude and short. I felt inquiring about the delivery of the package was an inconvenience to her. Someone needs to remind her that ITS HER JOB.
Normally, I do not write a review. But, as I am so much impressed, I decided to write a review.Before I visit this place, I was nervous because it was the first time to mail some documents, and I saw the ratings and reviews. Also, as I am not good at English, I was hesitate to visit this offcie.However, the representative( I am not sure this word is appropriate to indicate someone who worked in the office), especially, named Donna who worked in Window #2 was really great. She tried to understand my poor english and helped me a lot. Especially, she corrected what I was wrong about.I thanked her several times, but I want to say agian, thanks, Donna.
I would give a zero rating if I could. When for new passport application. They didnt take walk-in, appointment only, which wasnt my issue. My problem was that the number they gave me kept trying to make an appointment in Brooklyn which I wasnt going to go to. Everyone there was rude and overworked, which I do feel sorry for but if they cant provide decent service, they should hire more people.I actually had to go to Suffolk county in Long Island. After calling, and an actual real person answered, I set up the appointment the next day. The application, photo and paying took less then 15mins.My advice, if u need help with any passport related issues, dont go to any office in the 5 boroughs. Go to LI or out of state if u can. This office was not helpful at all.
Im changing my review rating to 1 from 1.5 star. Its getting a trend of a big package (and international package) not getting delivered with a status of Notice Left - Authorized Recipent not available even when Im home and I find no notice left anywhere. Getting this tracking notification via text message when Im home is quite illitating..Also, I hope theyll add wheelchair/stroller access entrance.
When you cannot find a place for the package you should leave a pink slip telling where can I pick up the package. I got no notice from you and had to wait on the phone for more than 20 minutes to be told you had my address wrong and I cannot pick up the package even if I have my id and proof of address. This is the second time that I have to let the sender take the package back!
I’ve only had to experience this horrible postal service twice since moving to Jackson Heights.They have lied and said my package wasnt in the facility when in fact it was and they were holding it even though I had identification.Second time I found that my package was opened in my mail box. I assume they weren’t interested in stealing cosmetics. Avoid this place at all costs.
Kind of weird to rate a usps location but this is probably my favorite post office. I prefer it over any other major hubs in the city. Deliveries get scanned on time and employees are helpful. Other locations have mean, disrespectful workers that generally lower the image of usps, but this one gets your package sent without attitude. Down side is, it seems to be crowded all the time and package deposits are almost always full. Best to go early in the morning.
I usually dont have a problem with this post office but, then again I dont interact with an actual person there. Today I couldnt go into the P.O. because I had a stroller with 2 of my children. There is no ramp so I would have to carry the stroller up the stairs. I saw the mail truck parked in front and I tried to give a package to the driver. He just turned me away and pointed to the P.O. I pointed to stroller and with an attitude he insisted I go inside. It takes 2 seconds to hand him a package but, he was to busy to accept it.
The worst. The branch is full of thieves!!!!! They stole my mail and claimed it was delivered. You are better off delivering the mail yourselves. Send nothing of any worth through this postal branch only if you want it to disappear forever into one of the pockets of its criminal employees!!!
They always say the have delivered when the havent. 2 of my packages are still lost. the so-called supervisor took my name and number to find out who delivered my package. its been a month and of course i havent gotten a call back. I wish there was a way to reroute all my packages. This postal service is GARBAGE.
They dont want to deliver my packages that i order.they use the excuse that address doesnt exist, so they return it to shipper. Ultimately, they are not leaving a notice as indicated on the website.After ten days,i realized that they supposedly went deliver my package and left a notice which i didnt see.
Bad delivery people, they never bring package to unit door, they dump to first floor common area. many missing delivery items.we complain to the post office many time, but they never fix the issue. they refused to delivery parcels. just they want us to pick up the post office.
Avoid using the priority mail if you are going to mail an important package to this area of jackson heights. For the past two months the employees from us postal service are leaving all types of packages including priority mail in the lobby of the building instead off leaving them at least at the door of the apartment. This way off delivering important packages is unacceptable. I talk on behalf of 75th st gardens owners corp.
I wish I could give their service negative stars. first of all it was crowded, second there was a huge line, third of all it took forever and when I finally made it to the window and very politely asked if the lady could help me mail something she said with an attitude you have to do it yourself EXCUSE ME ? I have to practically beg her to help me, this post office lost a customer today.
Dear lady in glass in the last window,There is no need to be rude to someone to ask you a question in fact theres no need to speak to someone in such a rude tune. The only reason why I stood in front of you is because you lost all respect from me in an instant though I kept my cool I can get uncivilized and get really bitchy. Always lost package but indicate the item was delivered,and also sent the mail and package to another street with the same house number.I got 2 camera out but never see them at the delivered time.today i got tracking info said no access.hello this is a house,do u have to access into to my house to delivery?and also at that time i was home with my family.its all lie.one more thing,they never pick up the phone.
This is most unpleasant plase. The phone always busy or no one to answer. Never received any clear answers on simple questions. No matter how many times they took my phone number to call me back, still waiting those calls.... You need passport?! Forget it! Be ready to stand on line for up to 6 hours!
Horrible service. I lost two packages already in the past 10 days. I was supposed to received a package today and it says it was delivered in the mailbox but nothing is there. Got a case number for both of the packages. I dont know if the guy that does the delivery takes them or puts them in the wrong mailbox but its annoying.
They are the worst office ever, it sucks I live near them, so I have to always deal with them. When I request redelivery service online so many times, they never deliver. If I call them locally, they would answer the phone 2 out of 20 times. Due to this reason, I am trying to avoid using USPS service now.
I had the worst incident ever with this office, had my immigration documents misplaced by these people, they don’t even know what are they doing, thank god, and a family member that reach out to the supervisor of the supervisor of the supervisor, I was able to find my missing mail, but honestly they suck, big time, I call to put on a claim from Saturday morning, they just called me today telling me that probably someone stole my mail, when I already have it, so they didn’t even know that, very distracted and not trustworthy to this point.

2022-02-26Patricia is the best on that location. No attitude, just being a customer service rep that anyone could ever ask for. The rest of the workers are just rude, no manners and very unprofessional. I went there for my FBI fingerprinting and that black lady with long pink hair gets upset everytime she couldnt capture my prints, She was not giving me the right instruction too and I was the one being reprimanded. What kind of attitude is that? You guys should go home. It seems like you are not happy with your job. Yes they are fast with their service but they treat customers with 0 manners. Its terrible.

2022-04-13Employees give you about as much aid as a tumour. Asked for help shipping a package and was told they don’t have the boxes I need there. Tells me to go across the street to get boxes in a monotone voice. I tell her the only stores across is a Starbucks, a restaurant, and two 99 cent stores. Still tried of course they didn’t have the boxes. Came back asking if they have any other methods of shipping. Told me to look online.If I wanted the service they gave me there, I would of just went to a domanatrix.

2022-04-17Today I went to this Post office i faced a very very bad experience fm them. Her name is Yesmin and she work at counter. Trust me she is very very rude woman and I believe she don’t know how to work. Not only today she told me go to UPS / FADEX / DHL with my goods. I dnt understand why she push me to others??? Is she is working with USPS or working with others Courior service???!!! I think now it’s time to chk every USPS employe background.

2022-05-03This is the slowest and the worst post office.Mail that is being sent within the same zip code takes this post office 7 days to deliver. Packages and mail is lost, the staff is slow. I rather wait to mail my letters when I am in the city or go to another post office in Queens. This is the WORST post office.

2017-09-22Honesty for youre own sanity avoid this post office at all cost. I heard every story these guys got and I would have never changed my address if I had know the level of disparity this place would put me thru.. Insurance checks gone missing, eviction notices that were refused without my knowlage, letters from my university that came opened or not at all. The blatant lies that spew from every postal employee trying to cover someone elses ass were far to common. So if you need to do buissness at the post office I suggest anywhere but here.

2022-06-07Very bad service⭐ for the Exception of Postal Worker Ms. Larissa ⭐⭐⭐⭐ it seem like she was the only Postal employee actually working, The lines where extremely long, That postal employee was knocking out customers 10 all by herself while the other ones appear to be struggling with barely one customer or even provide basic service, the other employees look like chickens with out a head, some very rude and very slow, I been coming here for over 20 years never seen such poor service, unfortunately I cant post photos showing how bad it is.🤔

2021-08-14Just like all post office slow rude employees except for Patricia she was so nice and polite but other that her other where just rude out of the no where. Oh and dont be like I dont get pay enough to be polite other people that do work hard have a better attitude in general and be just happy and positive. All Im trying to say is as society we need to change this type of service. Dont settle for less we deserve good customer service.

2021-12-11Excellent service! The only post office in queens that closes late on Saturdays. Really long line but moved quickly. Im so glad I came here to send a package, despite what the bad reviews said.
