Extremely worst USPS! I can’t wait to visit them. & I’m currently filling a complaint.1. Someone is always leaving someone mail in my mail box, with the wrong address.2. My package have said delivered but was never delivered! I sat downstairs and watched my camera all day waiting for not 1 but 2 packages!Either the delivery person stole it! or delivered it to the wrong address.
My package was totally destroyed upon delivery to a customer. I filed a claim online. I was advised by a rep to contact this local department re my claim. I called and spoke to one of the NASTIEST person ever who hung up the phone on me. In addition to this review, I will be filing a complaint against her. She had no phone etiquette and was yelling on the phone. When I advised her that I simply do not like her tone and she needs to bring it down, she hung up.I will be contacting the Office of Inspector Generals office to file a complaint on her. Her behavior is intolerable!!
There has been an improvement in service and when the mail is being delivered. Service at the post office can be slow but to be fair, some customers come in very unprepared or clueless when it come to sending out a package which in turn slows things down. The staff do try to help out if you have an issue. Some. Customers need to do a better job with their packages when sending stuff out
I had a package delivered to my stylist whom was home all day waiting for the delivery. We had the correct address and it was marked not delivered return to sender. Next day still cant find package or reason why it was NOT delivered.
Its insane how this place can never deliver my packages properly. I recently ordered something on Amazon and got a notification saying it was out for delivery Monday morning. So I stayed home the entire day and then at 7:00pm, Amazon notified me that the package was attempted to be delivered but no one was home. But I was home! And on top of that, they dont even deliver past 5pm, so how could they have attempted to deliver at 7pm??! So I was like Okay, maybe someone didnt finish their route so they scanned the item as Attempted and theyll deliver it tomorrow. But I was wrong. Its been THREE DAYS and I still didnt get my package! And now theyre saying I have to go pick it up! And they never even tried to deliver it! And Im not going to go all the way there to pick up the package because the item I ordered was a cheap item. Now Ill have to try to get Amazon to give me back my money.
This is by far the worst post office Ive ever been to. I brought my mother here on a Saturday to mail one small package via priority mail. The wait was more than an hour and there were 4 window clerks: 1 just for passports, 1 just for stamps, and the other 2 doing whatever. This kind of service is just unacceptable, it would be better to drive a few miles to another post office then come here.
The mail person kept throwing my mails over my fence. I am fed up and tired of this behavior. This person needs to be locked up. They dont answer the phone at this post office so that I can make a complaint. It is a federal offence to tamper with a persons mail; throwing a persons mail anywhere is tampering. How can the post office employ such deplorable persons? May be I need to get the law involved. It rained all week and all I could get is wet mails which I could not read. I need something to be done with the mail person who serviced 123 avenue off Rockaway Boulevard.

I have lived in this neighborhood going on 3 years now and I am typically not a fussy person and dont really stress little things but on more occasions than I can count I have had mail delivered to me that was not my own, I had to end up walking the package to the address and explaining to the recipient why I have their package. My wife has also lost numerous things in the mail that they have stated was delivered, Im sure the manager knows her name by heart. Now currently, I ordered a package they stated was delivered to find out that it wasnt, the funny thing is, I had another package delivered the same day by them and received that one. I went into the post office and asked to speak to a supervisor who goes in the back to check on my DELIVERED package. She comes back and states that the carrier dropped my package off at the same house address on the wrong street and she was going to send the carrier to pick it up and they will call me when they are in route to deliver it, it is the following day and still yet no call, no package! The package was dropped off since Saturday at the other address, it is now Monday so good luck with the that! The incompetence with this place is unreal! Can you change from your local post office to another branch like the gym?
For me easy and fast. I was also the only customer in there. Who knew.
Horrible. I spoke to a woman about 2 months ago about a dress I ordered, as per her and the mail man who delivered my dress the dress came to the house. They tried to make me seem stupid as if people who live in my house cant check the mail. Turns out the dress was delivered a week later to my house. And how is it that half the time you call that place its always busy. This is 2014, everyone has call waiting. I would never ever again ship something that I know is coming through the post office.
Worst Postal facility ever, they need to close down. They dont deliver packages, but do say it was delivered at front door. Supervisor is rude and dont like his job. Something has to give and needs to be done!!!!. i see all these complaints, which mean they still dont care about us. Otherwise there would be a big difference on how our mail is handle , and how the staff interact when you walk through the doors. We need to let our voices be heard!
Worst post office ever!!!! I made an appointment for my toddler passport for 12pm,as I got there I joined the line when I got up to the (middle age Asian lady)clerk she sent me to wait in another line saying she doesn’t do passport, at 12:30 I was still waiting for someone to help me, I finally saw the manager and asked him “where’s the person doing the passport and if they are not here”, he said to me yes and sent me over to the same clerk that told me she doesn’t do passport, when I got to her again she was so rude and not helpful at all, she was rushing me telling me she has to go to hurry up, what kind of customer service is that? This place is worst than the dmv employees. She doesn’t deserve to work there, miserable rude and mean lady, there’s no reason to behave that way, if she hated her job or her life that’s on her don’t take it out on others.
Horrible..Needs more Staff. Theres only 2 clerks behind the desk. And they have horrible manners! This office never answers the phone. They have lazy employees that don’t do their jobs properly when it comes to delivering packages. Packages are never delivered on time. I don’t often receive mails.
Horrible. Everyday single day I am guaranteed to find someone elses mail in my mailbox. Most of the time its for people who leave nowhere near me. I was supposed to receive confidential mail a few weeks ago (which I usually receive in 3 days), but I still havent received it. This post office is quite careless. The new people they have hired to deliver mail need to be retrained or take some reading classes. Theyre always on their phone, so of course theyre messing up at their job. Getting other peoples mail has been going on for about a year. So it appears they have hired a dishonest person somewhere at that post office.
Had a package from Macys said delivered since last Wednesday and I never recieved it, replayed the cameras and it shows no package was ever delivered they probably took it to the wrong address and in this neighborhood no one would have to courtesy to deliver your package to the right address or return it to the post office. Same thing happened with my package from Fashion Nova. And of course theyre always unreachable.
The staff were very unhelpful and extremely rude. Felt like I was disturbing the conversation behind the counter instead of being helped with picking up my package. I still have to go back and pick it up due to the fact the teller was too lazy to go to the back and get it for me. Not to mention the smart-ass remarks from the employee. It was just disgusting to see how they treat customers.
I live in this area for over ten years, and this is the worst post office for customer service. The only two that treat customers with respect and patience are the one Black lady, and the Indian (?) man that works there. All others need training in customer relations; in particular Judy, the Asian woman. She is very rude and disrespectful. On two occasions I have walked out and driven all the way to the Saint Albans branch because of her. Something needs to be done about this.
Go only during down time. They seem to be able to handle very light crowds without being rude. My mail carrier had a few complaints filed against him by myself. As he would leave my mail on the stoop instead of putting important or non important mail in my box. Due to fear of my dog barking through the door or window. Reported to supervisor and finally corrected. Sad. 10-15 years ago they were the best service ever. Now, -1 Star in my book. Smh.
Terrible service. I have been calling for days, no one answers the phone. They sent a package to the wrong address and now I cant get anyone to track it for me. Only in our neighborhood would this happen so sad. I am out of town and cant get anyone to answer the phone. Shame on you. If I could put Zero stars I would.
This place is horrible they are stealing package don’t not ship here or receive anythingFrom here if u can! It twice my package said came to south Ozone facility and then went back to into transit and supposedly get lost. And they are lying it because I have package going to south Richmond Hill say get to south Richmond Hill facility meaning the post office and then it out for delivery. The south Ozone post office have bunch younger guy and female that don’t care about there job and they talking to people giving them lies and say the not stealing because their excuse is the package never came to there office but it show south Ozone facility which mean the post office they don’t have any other facility for south Ozone...Inconclusion they are straight crooks!
This is by far the WORST place EVER!The Manager and workers are RUDE and are not willing to help at all.The phone NEVER gets answered.. I even stood in the office and called and heard the phone ringing and no one picked it up bc I was trying to make an appointment for me newborns passport. Put it this way.... If you have the option to have your packages sent to a different location, by all means do it. This... place is ridiculous, not only they are understaffed but the lines are approximately 1 hour and 15 mins. The staff is rude and unwilling to help you. The will give you the. This South Ozone Park Post Office Is DISGUSTING! They Loose Your Mail/Packages. No One Is Held Accountable. The Acting Supervisor Lisette Is Extremely Unprofessional. I Have Had Two Packages Lost, My Mail Thrown On The Floor In My Hallway Instead Of In The Mailboxes. And No One Has Done A Thing!!!! Ive Filed 2 Complaints Without Resolution. Chinese lady(judy) was extremely rude when i came in to cash my postal money order. Claim she or no other cashier could cash a $850 money order. I lived in the area for 3 years an have yet to be able to cash a money order at this place. You can tell that most of the employees dot communicate here and it falls back on the consumer. Horrible!
There usps.. please hire more clerks ,and have the current clerks ,retire or go back for training or maybe do a pay increase.. its thats simple..If customers dont have mails or packages, there wouldnt be a need for this office to open correct..so please do whats best
Ive lived here all my life nd for some reason (seems personal) the mail lady holds a gruge against certain homes nd decides to keep mail/packages just because shes scared of a dog(the dog is behind the gate n mail box outside of the gate ) being that ..i have to pickup my mail at the post office ....im not a happy customer soon ill figure who to inform whos ever higher than them i willl trust me ive already called 3118/20/16 still dealing with trying to receive my mail without an issue my dog dosnt bother the gate is closed ,the lady seems to be holing mail personally. Ive treyd to retrieve it from the office but they say theres no mail there ive sent complaints by mail nd have done so over the phone hopefully it makes things better .
I wish I could them 0 stars. They delivered my package to the wrong address. I tried to contact the office multiple times in which a lady would answer then immediately put me on hold, then the line would continue to ring for a very long time then disconnect.

Been calling for 3 days and NO ONE ANSWERS THE F**KING PHONE!!! I have a package thats been sitting there since Wednesday, February 14th. Why has no one mailed it to my house as of yet?? This dont make no sense! Why do I have to give a star?? SMFH
I would leave no stars if I really could. They told me they couldn’t find my package and they don’t know where it is...like seriously? The lines are really long and you can hear the staff laughing in the back while people are waiting patiently in the front. This is the first review that I’ve ever left for any establishment so that goes to show how horrible the service is. I’m pissed off.
Worst of services...the pass port section staff ( Asian wowan ) dont know to speak to ppl, like common! Keep ur problems at home, ur job requires to deal wit all kinds of ppl on a daily basics, so ur required to b polite, if sh cant b polite then thats not the job for her, mayb she belong in an animal cage. This is the most disgusting post office ever it’s dirty and sloppy inside they barely deliver anything on time when u make a reschedule date two times ( via email and telephone ) and they never show up every time u call customer care they have u wait a whole HOUR literally until someone comes to the phone i have literally been up to this place where the clerk told me my packages were not there they returned back to sender when in all reality she just didn’t wanna look and now they updated the system the day i booked a reschedule date telling me they sent one of my orders back i have never been so horrified like this in my life and everyone held accountable for this will be reported or losing a job mark my words
I sent post to share a 12500 mile road trip, and Ive come to learn that only 4 of the 13 items I sent made it to the 11420 zip code address. Absolutely heartbreaking. Where did the other 9 items go?!?! Stunned at the shear negligence and incompetence of this post office. Someone here is committing federal crimes.

Have a new mail person Rose have the pleasure of speaking to her regarding missing mail and finding other people mail in my mail box. She is completely rude and had the nerve to tell me she dont know how I got those that she did not put them in my box so I guess I magically got there, so rude!!!!
Do not forget those who carry the packages: They report that they went and left the notification at home, (clowns) and those who carry the correspondence: steal coupons with discounts and letters do not deliver them the day that is supposed and hold up to one or two days.
I had a package by Amazon supposed to be delivered today and instead they send it to the post office at 540 ... And Im trying to call USPS and nothing.. this is why Id much rather deal with ups or fed ex...

Horrible service! First off Ive been living at this address for years and havent had a problem before until the last two years, this year starting off being the worst. Their service sucks the manager Brenda she is very rude acting like its not there fault, its the company the mailed it out responsibly and the staff as well!! This post office is one of the worst they claiming they delivered your package and leave a note and I never received my packages and it’s not the first time this happen.

This is the worst post office I ever been to, they never answer the phone when ever time of day I call, I receive emails every day with the pictures of the mail I will be getting for the day, sometimes I get that mail 3 days later, like this week I was waiting for some tests results from the lab to take to my doctor appt, it was showing at the post office on Monday as of today Wednesday I still didnt get it yet, I dont know if they have a manager there but if they do he is not doing a good job, there is always a line out of the door, and something else this post office is too small to take care of passport issues, they should just give out the application and thats it I guess that is where the revenue is for them but this is going crazy.

Central Post Office or General Post Office, in English, it is an incredible building with very large dimensions where the post office of all New York works. Located in the Garment District, its main facade is imposing and easily recognizable, since it has a large staircase in all its extension and repeated concrete columns. Today, the General Post Office works there but in a section of the building, because the authorities of New York have decided to invest millions of dollars in its restoration and in the construction and adaptation to the move railway station.

2022-04-04I left a package there by mistake while i was purchasing some stamps. I went all the way to howard beach and realize i left the package.I drove back to the post office and they had my gift (package)The postal worker was so helpful. They knew i will return to pick up my package.....thank you ladies...

2021-10-28I would like to commend the staff at this location for doing such an excellent job. Always very helpful to the patrons and would go the extra mile to assist. Today I think I was the last customer that was served at this location...got there just as they were closing having rush from work to be on time. The gentleman at the door was kind enough to let me in and one of the Lead, Sherry was very helpful in assisting me in getting my package off. So THANK YOU for such great service.....the staff at the USPS location on Doughty Blvd in Inwood, NY needs to take a page out of your book in learning what customer service is all about. KUDOS TO THE STAFF AT THE USPS LOCATION ON ROCKAWAY BLVD.

2021-06-19I ordered items from eBay (moisturizer) and. A foundation from IL MAKIAGE, small items, however I can never receive any small items or packages from this post office and Items are listed as delivered. Every thing just disappear in thin air services and employees sucks.

2019-07-08This is one of the worst post offices. My mail and packages are constantly getting delivered to the wrong address. Whenever Im expecting a package, it says its been delivered when in fact it has not been or theyll deliver the next day. My most recent package says ready for pick up when there was never an attempt the first time of delivery. Just horrible!!! You need a better staff. This amount of unprofessionalism is unacceptable!!!
