The people in this establishment are great people. They are doing the best they can with limited resources. These are great people with essential work and their jobs need to be saved. I recently went through a series of unfortunate events in which my wallet and other belongings were stolen. These people recovered my wallet and all my important documents and safe guarded them for me until i was able to recover them. I thank everyone in this establishment as well as the USPS as a whole. Thanks for all your hard work!! I hope your jobs will be saved and you get the resources you need to continue your great work.
The delivery workers is lazy , They won’t come make the effort to deliver your package . They would act and lie like they did but they didn’t so many times i got a notice saying my package try to be delivered but no In safe spot 1. I have a elevator building , 2. My neighbor also accepts my packages i leave it in the note they can . They just lazy works
This location to me is great! The employees are really helpful. Unique, she is amazing and very nice! Overall yes this location tends to get long lines sometimes but the workers literally do the best they can, they’re only human. I see a lot of reviews commenting on how rude they are but I’ve never experienced an attitude from them.But, I bring positive energy to a conversation, I can only imagine how many rude customers take out their frustration on the ladies behind the windows. I agree that the delivery employees can step up their game a bit, but their failure to deliver has nothing to do with women at the desk behind the window. I always get a smile from them.Overall, I’ve never had an issue with packages being lost, stolen, or damaged. When I mail packages out it has always reached the recipient by the expected delivery date. At the end of the day what more can I ask for?
The service and attitude of the people that work there is disgusting. They just dont care whatsoever. Y have this job if u dont want to be there??? We as the public didnt make u take that job. Im just saying. They need to do soooooo much better or get better ethics training.
Very frustrated... never been in a post office like this one before. Came here to pick up a package, the package wasnt there and they dont know where it was. This is my THIRD package theyve lost. The mailman never come up to deliver. Someone is not doing its work the right way or someone is STEALING packages!!!Looking forward to the right agencies for an investigation. I had to give a star just to write a review but no stars deserved.
Horrible service for delivering packages. Two days in a row, I was home waiting for 2 separate packages. I was tracking the packages on the USPS website. Towards the late afternoon, the tracking information changes to attempted delivery, notice was left. Nobody attempted to do anything because I was home! Nobody knocked on my door and no one left a notice. How careless can these people be? The customer service phone number always has a long wait time to speak to a Rep.
Worst post office you could ever go to. Staff is very incompetent. They have the “well, we still getting paid so we could do whatever we want” attitude. The drivers NEVER ONCE DELIVERED MY PACKAGE in all the times I’ve ordered online. Whenever I see people getting riled up and asking for a manager I always tell them “if the staff is anything to go by, then the manager is most likely WORSE. Who in their right mind would hire these kind of people?!” Honestly it is sad. I have a package getting delivered today and I am MOST DEFINITELY going to have to enter that place again. Wish me luck. And hopefully, by some miracle I would walk out of there without a headache.
As to my own opinion of this branch , I would honestly imply that is not a favorite of mine.The services are not at all up to par and most packages doesn’t get delivered at my home address.It’s so disappointed and upsetting to deal with the mishaps of these mail carriers who are not too thorough in there duties.
Worst post office. Lines are to long. Never enough tellers. Packages never comes to your home. Carrier lies about attempt made. No ticket left. You only find out you have a package through tracking. One of the most exceedingly rudest customer service people Ive ever met in my life. From the mangers/supervisors all the way on down to the tellers. The people here need to be reported and expunged.One time I was there towards closing. The manger didnt want anymore people entering the facility so she decided to bolt-lock the doors without leaving a security guard or someone of the sort to let people out. Not only did she bolt-lock the doors but she walked back to the back to continue working. She only came back to unlock the door when she felt like there were enough customers to let out. We stood there waiting for like a minimum of 15 minutes before we were let out of the building. While standing there waiting we were telling her that not only was it illegal to hold us against our will but also this was a fire hazard. She didnt care. She continued working until the pile up was big enough.They dont deliver your packages. If youre lucky youll get a slip to even let you know that you have a package. By then, your package has already been sent back. The lack of respect for the community is so blatant I wish that I didnt have to deal with them on any level at all.
🚫WARNING 📦🚫 be careful. I have try to contact the office and the building of this location and no one answer. I was expecting a package on December last year. From a brand of Adidas. And it said they had delivered my package. I WAS AT HOME THE WHOLE TIME AND NO DELIVERY WAS MADE. MY BUILDING HAS CAMARAS IN & OUT AND NO ONE FROM THE USPS HAS DROPPED ANYTHING... AND SiNCE TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPORT FROM EITHER CUSTOMER SERVICE OR IN THIS USPS BUILDING. they know what they doing and alot of people have been complaining.
These girl in this post office are completely rude. They sit there behind the counter tired of life and there job. They all need to be fired every last one of them !! They do not care about there jobs and they do not follow protocol my appointment was at 10:45 to 11:00am. I arrived at 10:39 to tell the lady i had something filled out wrong on my application can I get a new application for my passport so I can fill it out correctly. I step to the side to fill it out the lady them comes back to me at 10:50 to tell me to get on to any window I stand on the side then go back to the lady to confirm where Im suppose to stand. So now i get to window 4 for them to tell me that i have to go to window 3 so now i wait at window 3 go to the lady for her to tell me that i am late for my appointment when its only 11:03 & I told the other lady that i had to fix my application then for her to not even send me to the right window wasted my time at window 4 when she could have told me specifically what window to go to. The lady now said that I was late for my appointment because it was at 10:45 they did not care that my appointment said 10:45-11am she was completely rude told me she couldn’t do anything about it gave me attitude and even rolled her eyes and was breathing hard. All the girls at that post office need to be FIREDDDDDD. Them girls are rude and have horrible customer service they are all bitter and tired
If I could give 0 starts I would . I never make reviews but I just have to. Everyone at the window should be FIRED!! Theyre all rude and do not help. They take forever to find something or explain something to you. They always loose packages. One time I came and had to tell her to look for my package about 3 times. She kept saying that it wasnt there but my tracking said it was back at the postal office I finally got a hold of someone else they were rude too but actually found my package.
The attitudes of the people at the window are horrible and they’re not clear about what is needed to get a passport. The heaters are turned on really high when it’s 80 degrees outside.Update: recently this week I was supposed to have a package delivered to me and a note was left saying that I was not home. Everyone who lives in my apartment was at home the whole day that the package was supposed to arrive. I never heard a single knock and had to go through a whole process online to make sure it was left at this post office because it’s the closest one to where I live. Again, the attitudes of the workers makes them seem as if they hate their job! Not welcoming at all.
I decided to write a review for this usps which is full of employees who stole packages. I have lost approximately 6 packages so far because from were I buy my work supplies that’s the only option I have. And every time I am supposed to received a package it says that they try to delivered, and not even a notice is left on my door, and when I go to pickup my package they say that sorry we can find it in here, we going to open a investigation and one of the supervisors is going to call you. And it never happens not either the supervisor call you or your package appears. Worst usps ever and full of unprofessional folks who like to steal.
I ordered a package and I wait my 2 days for shipping. The day that the package was supposed to arrive, they ring my bell and don’t even come up to my apartment. Then they mark the status of my package as “Attempted Delivery”. Now, I cannot attend the event that I was invited to join. Thanks a lot USPS.
The carrier state they deliver your package supposed to be in the mail box no package speake to the Manager she said I dont know what happen to the package I said its fraud if you say package is delivered and its not there . They dont to deliver, staff are unprofessional. They talk about the consumers badly but hide behind the glass windows. Long lines for 20 and up minutes this post office should be closed because customer service is poor.everytime I go there different workers. Appearance, attitude very poor .
WORST post office ever! I have been living in the same place for the past 16-17 years and this post office never changed and if it does it gets worst. I was suppose to receive a package on a Sunday and its about to be the next following Sunday and nothing. I called and all they do is give me the run around. Making it seem like am begging hem for something, no I paid for m package and they clearly lost it or misplaced it and wont admit to it. Each day oh its out for delivery, and ts in the truck but yet someone how I never manage to get it. Just admit you lost it or misplaced it and stop giving me the run around. Oh and let me not forget to say how rude the staff is. Very rude.
The absolute worst! Rude, lazy and inefficient! Don’t know how these people past the postal exam. Be prepared to wait at lest 15 minutes if there are only 1 person in front of you. Good luck if have to pick up a package they can’t find it! The Absolute Worst!This post office is 2 blocks away from me and I rather walk 12 blocks to Saint Ann s and Westchester ave to the post office there. They are friendly, efficient, and quicker.
Worst usps office ever. Never in my life had I walked into a place full of rude, unprofessional, nasty and racist people. They are just horrible. I live in the area and only go there when its nearly impossible for me to make it all the way to the usps office on grand concourse. Thats right I rather travel further than to make this very bad place my number#1 option.
First of all this place is creepy looking and the ladies at the windows are just plain rude gave me and other people a hard time. This young ghetto chick didnt want to give me my package cause I didnt have the correct address on my Drivers License but its a state ID. Then had the nerve to talk smack to me when I was leaving saying in a smart way that the next time Im not going to get my package. And thats when I came back and went off on her and told her if they would of delivered it I wouldnt be in this help whole. Mind you I didnt have the same problem last month. She should be careful with who she talks to like that cause i know some people who are supervisors at other branches and who are friends with the higher ups like Mr Allen Tanko the manager of retail services and Miss Megan Brenna who is the postmaster of the United Post Office. Point blank this place is the worst
Most of the employees here hate their jobs. Havent encountered one employee without a nasty attitude, rude attitude or ghetto attitude. It doesnt matter if you treat them with the greatest respect in the world, they still act disgusting. Even on the phone you cant catch a break. But god forbid they actually do their jobs. Many times I have to pick up my tiny packages because they cant be bothered to stuff them in my mail box or deliver it like they should. Ive lost money and time with this post office.
This post office is the worse. they lied that they brought a package to my house november 26th 2017 and left a redelivery notice. the mail carrier could have placed the item in my mailbox but did not. i asked for redelivery and it was suppose to arrive thursday november 30th at 8pm the mail carrier never showed and no one called. plus when i called they said only thing i can say is pick it up. like really??? who does that when your suppose to deliver a package. this post office i will never use them again i will advise everyone to read the other comments because its true the lady with the weave wouldnt give me a package either and their attitudes is very unpleasant.
They refuse to deliver packages to my door even if thats actually what I paid for. They instead leaves notices claiming they attempted delivery while I wait for them all day and no one shows up. I always have to call and schedule a redelivery multiple times before they finally show up with my package. Worst post office in existence.
Incapable of doing their job correctly. There certain postal workers that deliver my packages the way it should be done . Not by leaving a paid package in front of a door this is not the suburbs or putting someone else mail in my mailbox . Leaving me with the responsibility of delivering the mail to its rightful owner. The supervisor at this place was no help at all left her my information for a fallow up on a mistake that was made by one of their employees. My complaint is about this female supervisor and the postman or postwoman making these unpairable mistakes.
This has to be the most horrible service in the country. This is the fourth thing I have ordered and waited for this week and been told a delivery was attempted and no one came. I have wasted my day four times, even waited once in the lobby to catch them and no one comes by. There is never a notice left, a note, no attempted contact. I am eight months pregnant with a high risk pregnancy and have had to go to the post office this month alone 4 times to horrible and rude customer service. I am so sick of it, have reported them and the drivers a million times with no success of a change.
THIS has got to be the WORST post office in the whole entire BRONX. Service is below ZERO. Long lines for everything when this is not even a busy location. Waited 1HOUR to pick up a package last week. This is ridiculous. This is NOT a BUSY location I repeat. I dont get why it takes so long to pick up a package. They also dont have separate lines. Its one line for everything. GOOD LUCK going here. I am now shipping all my stuff to my job. I rather pick up elsewhere.
To start things off, I grew up in the neighborhood and in the past 2 years alone I’ve delivered over 500+ packages and every single day I arrive in this place I get the best customer service you could get! Most of these negative reviews are ppl who aren’t able to get there packages because of lack of identification! You come in this building having a bad day, and you’ll leave having a much better day that u came here with, all 3 of the ladies are amazing!!! Yes there’s 4 so I’m just talking about 3 lol 😬🤫
I dont really understand everyones issue with this post office. Iv has a few issues with my building door buzzer (no fault of the post office) and my delivery man has always been amazing and made sure my packages got to me somehow. Every time Iv called the supervisor is more than helpful and the ladies at the counter have always been nice to me. Which is more than I can say for downtown locations Iv attended in Manhattan.
I am so upset Ive been waiting for a package all day and it said it would be delivered at 8:30 pm by 9pm it wasnt delivered, the next time I checked the status it said they made an attempt to deliver it, that is a lie I was sitting here waiting for it. If they cannot or do not want to do their job get someone else that needs the job.please look into this Im quite sure nothing will be done about it. I must say this is the worse post office ever and I definitely will make sure something is done.
I dont know what more I can say in addition to the negative trending above, but I will certainly try. I moved to this area not too long ago, and just when I thought the post office couldnt get any worse.....the Mott Haven post office proved me wrong. Customer service is horrible, there is no accountability for packages. They lie about attempting deliveries, and then when you go to pick up without a slip (which you never received) they give you a hard time. Upon arriving there is always a ridiculous line, being manned by 1 clerk who moves as slow as humanly possible and without any friendly nature. It is apparent that all of these employees hate their job. I literally dread every time I have to go to this place and deal with the incompetence.
The carriers in this location are horrible. Twice I had my package not delivered to me, stating I was not home when I was indeed home. I never recieved any notice for my package when in the tracking it states I did. A BUNCH OF LIES FROM THE CARRIER. Do your damn job and if you dont like it than get a new one. Im so fed up with this USPS! This is ridiculous.
I avoid this post office like the plague!! Im forced to go due to having to pick up a package, because 90% of the time the carrier doesnt bother to bring it to my apartment. You can expect to stand on the line for at least twenty minutes during peak hours. Its been many occasions where my package could not be located resulting in me having to revisit. I gave two stars, because the customer service has just gotten a LITTLE better. The even tempered clerks they recently have servicing the windows make the experience more tolerable. For all other services I go to the main post office (10451) where they have caught up to this centuries technology.
Non people person work at this local post office, with NO Customer Service. We all have bad days, but they should leave it at home and be blessed to have a job. It does not hurt to be nice to others. Treat people how you will like to be treated!. And if this job is not for you, then fine something else to do!!!

I then get an email saying my package was delivered and given to a receiptionist or someone at a front desk!!!! My address is correct because I confirmed with the post office and amazon and I dont have a receiptionist in my building! The supervisor clearly stated that the employees arent doing their jobs and there is one to help me !!!! I HATE HATE HATE HATE THE SERVICE THIS POST OFFICE GIVES!!! IF there was such a thing as negative stars I would have to give it a negative 5 stars. This month alone 3 of my items from amazon has not arrived. 2 of my item were lost with in the post office. I spoke to the manager Ms. Walker and she was NO help what so ever. She gave me the run around and even after I return asking for my item she never got back to me. So after the 4th time I just gave up. I dont understand... It doesnt take a degree to sort and deliver mail. I can just imagine the interview process: spell cat... C A T, great youare hired! Shame on you Ms. Walker and your lazy incompetent staff.
I really gotta say. Its all about management. People may be rude, but if the store had a manager who cares, things would be much better.When it comes to receiving letters I cant complain, I get my letters. I do feel bad for other people whos letters end up in my mailbox for some reason. Some of them have from as far as Sedgwick ave and 170th st.Note: we dont need to have this post office shutdown. This post office never bring up the package went the delivery go out in the morning, the worst post office ever, all the time is a long line with only 1 people helping, because their dont deliver. the 99% of the time I have to go and pickup the package, their always write I am not in the home, went this is a lie , because I am a stay home mom with a baby .
Horrible overall! Carriers dont deliver the packages to your home, so you have to go to this post office daily and spend 40 minutes on the line just to pick up your package! I pay for shipping for the package to be delivered to my house! These carriers dont care because they only work for the paycheck! They should all get fired!!! 0 stars!!!!
USPS constantly attempts to deliver package but in fact they pretend to buzz your door because they are too lazy to go up to the third floor. To top it all off, they are very slow and unfriendly at the actual post office. They are super understaffed especially during the holiday season.
This location is the worst. Every time I come here theres always a long line and the service is very slow. Theres this one worker I had a encounter with her attitude is the worst. She needs to be retrained on customer service. She dont know how to speak to people at all very rude too. The supervisor is slow too. She acts like she doesnt want to work at all. Rehire well trained workers or close the location
I wish there was a negative rating below zero I could give. In this post office, there is always a huge line, I mean like 20-30 customers with only 1-2 people actually working at the front. Not only does this place suck in that area, they lie and say they attempted to deliver packages when I literally sit home waiting alllllll day. As terrible as this place is, I’m shocked it’s still open.
I havent gotten My Mail in Days,, While I have My USPS app and Shows how many mail am Supposed to get for that day. Im Disabled and Suppose to go in for Emergency Surgery and Due to the fact My Mail wasnt Delivered cause the letter still in the post office I miss today Surgery conforming it was gonna be Today now have to wait longer for an Open date. They are irresponsible. Im So Done Close that Post Office Already.
I give it 2 stars because its close by, but this site is really bad. They have a skeleton crew from opening to close, which I do not understand and reported that Im still getting mail in my p.o box, thats not mine and they still put it in there. There are employees that are respectful and helpful, but then you have the ones that are there for a paycheck and dont care. In all reality, its the supervisor whos to blame, they set the training and work quality which looks like they dont care neither!
Yo this post office be tweaking no funny , I have been waiting for ma package for the longest , EXCUSE MY GHETTONESS. I literally live right next to the post office I can literally see inside the post office , yet they say that they delivered and attempted to deliver my package , but people were home at the time and no notice was received , not even a knock on the door. My package was inside the post office at 6AM and they had the whole day to deliver it and they decide to deliver at 5pm. This post office has done this twice to me already , please get yo stuff together B.
I lived in the area for 25 years! The employees get worst and worst by the years, I have more than a week trying to get my package and every time i go its a different story. Its very frustrating, people need to learn how to do their job CORRECTLY and not loose peoples packages!!!! Worst post office in the entire bronx!
This is the worst post office for so many times I asking redelivery and their never deliver the package I have to go , all the times long lines because their dont delivery . You call them and their said yes but dont delivery the package , if you ask for redelivery dont wait go and look for the package, and their lie too because I waiting in the house for the package and their write I am not in the apartment dont leave any pink notes. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER.
The service here is horrible! If possible try to avoid this postal service, and if you have a package here try to have the package transported to a different postal office. Every time I come I take about half an hour to an hour to receive my package in most cases. Come here at your own will if you wish though.

Someone in charge has to come see and find out why this place is not delivering packages, just because its in the south bronx doesnt mean we have to accept this. They claim they deliver it BUT THEY DO NOT!! time to contact the news. Its extremely packed with only 2 windows open one for dropping off the other for picking up. This is crazy!!!! I gave it a 1 because I cant record any less, it is simply unacceptable, Im on line and theres 30 besides me, 30!!!Only 1 cashier open, no wonder people look for other solutions than the USPS. Then they claim customers dont use their service as much as before therefore the increase in anything they sale but services.
The worst service ever. They always saying they attempted to deliver package and is always a lie and when you go to pick it up either the package is all beaten up or so cal the package is out for delivery again. Service is slow, rude and the aggressive staff make up rules about picking up packages they wont properly deliver. It amounts to a kind of temporary theft. In fact, it took a complaint of postal.theft to the Post Master General to wrest a long-held pkg from this PO. Worst service ever.
I hate this post office the worst of the worst . i have never experience such bad customer service. they need a whole new staff! they need a customer service class. they had me waiting a hour to talk to supv, mgnt just left me standing there.. i wish i didnt have prior appointment i would stayed to closing see how long they was going to get me to wait no slip was left the carrier never made attempt to deliver my pkg..
You are telling me that there is only one teller, one, taking care of a everything!!!! Right now as i wait in line, the teller is doing a passport application, while the other tellers are walking around eating, looking at the line and doing absolutely NOTHING! Instead they continue to walk around with food on their hands and talking to each other. What kind of employees do you have!!! And you cant say that you are understaff because clearly the staff you have are there enjoying the view of the long line. And not only do you do that, you guys dont even attempt to deliver our packages or notify us that the package is here. If its because i look myself to track my package i would of thought it was still on its way!! You guys dont even deserve a damn one star rating!
Bad service and there mail man never tries to deliver packages. Last week i had to pick up a TINY package for my uncle after school from 2:45pm to 3:50pm i waited on line and half way a 2nd line open to pick up packages. Everyone on the single line that had to get a package was on the single line cause there was no other line to get packages. When the other line opened eveyone had to go to the other line and some people that were at front of the first line had to go to the back Last the mail man takes forever to deliver mail people say that he sleeps while delivering mail i can get mail from 4pm to 8pm(no i am not kiding) and i dont live that far please just fire him or give him a warning or something. At least its close
They Never actually put mail in my mail box. Leaves it outside. I have lost checks, recieved notices too late etc. because of this. We Gave them too many keys(out of pocket) for them to say that they cannot get into my building.Im Always home waiting for any packages I have coming but of course they always lie and say that there was an attempt made, but no one never shows up.
Long lines, disorder, every time I have to pick up a packet every one is complaining about the waiting time and poor costumer service. A few years back, I did not receive my credit card from the mail and I came to find out it had been tried to activated but fail. That happened while in transit in this USPS Office.
I come 20 minutes before closing, they seem to work pretty fast by then. For the last couple of months, the line goes around the office. The door way is blockedso thats another fire hazard. The people behind the glass seem interested in trying to get any order in the lobby. Theres 2 people at the windows so why not 2 lines. Their brains are not available.

The worst place ever. I had schedule to redeliver my pack on sept. 20 amd was told to be expected on Friday sept. 21 and receive a email confirmation ant now it’s the end of the day and I still haven’t receive my package. I went to do the passports today &’ this black lady with dreads was giving such a nasty attitude. She said we had to reschedule our passport appointment &’ I said no cause I didn’t come for no reason. So later on some lady with short hair was kind enough to do the passports. But that women with dreads should get fired ! That’s not how you treat customers.
This is the worst post office!!!! They don’t deliver packages...they don’t leave notifications. You have take the tracking number to them only for them to tell you it’s out for delivery, even when you show them that amazon sends you a notification stating attempted to deliver . HEADQUARTERS NEED TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE THEY LOSE THE AMAZON PRIME ACCOUNT!!!

Why is it so difficult for these employees to be nice while giving help?Helping the customer is supposed to be your duty !!The Employees there will treat you badly for not being sure and not having knowledge about the service.
Packages are not attempted for delivery. The carrier puts an attempted delivery slip in the mailbox even when I am present in the apartment to receive the package. The lines have become increasingly long for package pickup, and everyone waiting has the same complaint - that their packages are not being delivered properly.
I have never successfully been delivered a package from this post office. I have to go and pick it up every time, and about 1 in 4 times they lose the package and I have to file a claim that never gets answered. Please just do us all a favor and shut this disaster down.
I have NEVER written a review, but I had to login to express my level of disgust with the service at this location. Extremely long lines with 2 people at the window. Representatives talk to customers like rugrats from hood that they dont want to deal with. CLOSE THIS LOCATION DOWN ALREADY OR FIND SOME NEW WORKERS! Theres NO WAY that THIS is all the help the could find to work here.
Where is the no start option , waiting time at the post office can be up to 3 hours , they only have two workers i feel bad for them , the line goes out the door no matter what time of the day you go in . who ever is delivering the package is not really delivering them , because every one complains about being home waiting to receive their package .
The line is horrendous every SINGLE time Im here! Whether its the morning afternoon or evening. Its only staffed by 2 people the most. Its been like this for years and its sad no one does anything about this situation. Im sure its not on the citys priority list since were located in the South Bronx.
This post office has gotten worse in the past months if not,,in these past years... for starters, my wife and I are residents of 138th for many many years We are still curious as of today that why our mail is being delivered after 4 p.m.... employees at this post office on 139th appears that they cannot give infancy on mail.. if their mail was delivered to them as such late hours they too,,, after a while,,,they to would have a problem behind it mind you my wife and I has lived in the area for years .. Anyhow recently... Ive been receiving my suppose signature confirmation in my mailbox meaning the post man or lady has been signing it and leaving it in my mailbox ...from Congress I found out that this is against constitutional law against a federal law a signature confirmation means that the person on that delivery slip must be the one to sign not take it upon himself to sign today I am waiting for such package I see the Post lady Miss Diaz I approached her and she claims that the mail has not been delivered so my building yet but Im seeing her delivering the mail its a shame that when people have other important appointments to do one has to sit to wait for the postal to deliver your mail especially if its something very important in there that you must have shut 138th Street post office down ship those employers out that way they can learn to work for their money if anybody is interested go to the Bronx councilman and they will get something done
This place send mail out and packages and the mail man or woman puts the mail in someone else’s mailbox people are receiving other people mail my order say delivered on Monday May 11 and never received anything still waiting and I called the post office and no answer the lines are crazy and people are so nasty in this place
The service quality in this post office is extremely lacking,customer service is non-existence .Employees are rude and inconsiderate ,there lack of knowledge in postal procedures is horrendous.As for management if you can call it that their just is no leadership skills .Many times my packages have been deliver to incorrect address,no ticket left indicating attempt to deliver,but online it indicate they did attempt delivery,(by the way on a time I was siting in the living room where I can see the front gate if someone attempts to enter my private one family home).Extreme long lines to pick-up package but if you go close to closing time miraculously the time to wait gets expedited and within minutes your taken care of after waiting on average close to an hour on line.And when you ask to speak to a manager they scream out the persons name informing someone wants to speak to them ,feels like your in a park or some street affair . Then after speaking to management and on occasions getting your name place on a list and a promise to call u back with an answer to your problem you wait days and guess what no return call ,so you end up going back to the post office to resolve your issue.I only go to this post office because if a delivery for something I bought on line is with usps and they miss delivery sometimes they take it to the post office and being that this one is the closest to my address I have no alternative but to handle my matters with this inefficient,unprofessional,unethical staff.
I from rockland and I have a office in the Bronx so I have to deal with this post office to get my mail so one day I went in and checked my PO Box for the mail it was 12 o’clock and there was no mail there so I asked for a supervisor to double check if I have mail for today he said I don’t know come back tomorrow It’s like I’m talking to a wall they are so disrespectful and don’t want to help you but this is the worst post office I am dealing with it and they need to be a supervisor that needs to wake up and help people outI rate this post office 1 out of 10
If I could give something less then 1 star I would...this place doesnt even deserve 1 star...the lines are sooooo long and they lost...or should I say gave away my package to someone else with the same last name as mine...so glad the lady knew me and noticed it was the wrong package and brought it to me...they need to pay more attention to what the heck their doing...seriously...
Horrible horrible horrible I do not like at all and I hate looking for packages there, the girl who is a Dominican with dark guille she distributes the mail for my area and when she does not want to go up to take the packages she sends them to look for the mail as if she will not be paid for her work and every time she is in the looby she is talking on cell phone there so nasty she

2022-06-28Very bad people at the windows! They hate their job and treat customers so bad! We took appointment for my son passport. The appointment time says 1:45. We got there 1:40. The girl at the window says to finish filling the application because the person who will take us is at the break. We finished and stand on the side. At 2:04 she called and says we are late and she can’t take us anymore! We try to explain and the other girl was yelling at us! I left with tears in my eyes. Very bad experience! I just say thank you and left

2019-01-04No automation whatsoever! Around the corner you can swipe a debit card and have a vending machine drop down to you a beverage, but at this post office, employees primitively scramble around to fetch stamps and packing supplies! There is not even a postal scale in the place, which means that you wait on lines to bring items to the employees for weighing. Besides that, the place is passably clean, though the façade badly needs a coat of paint.

2021-12-28New Review: After the issue that I have been dealing with below. They have come a long way since then. Mail has been delivered on time and actually can have a humane conversation together. I understand it can be tough to work in this neighborhood but we appreciate their team effort. Maybe the Bronx can fully change one day. I will leave my old review below to let people know that things can change and get better.Old Review: Mailman wont deliver to my home because I reported him for not delivering my mail. He told me I have to go to the post office going forward to pick it up. We spoke to supervisor to fix issue yet he continues to not deliver mail. Im not really sure if this isnt spite then what is.

2021-08-20This is the worst postal service in the whole Bronx!. The driver never shows up to deliver your packages, you have to always pick up your packages at the post office. The staff are liars and state they will deliver it. They dont take your complaints seriously. Its dirty and ghetto. Everyone should be investigated there. Go to the one on 149st in st anns I want to give them a negative star but even thats to much for them. Horrible service. The government needs to do something about it

2021-03-18Horrible customer service. I have lost a package here in december and first of all they are extremely hard to reach via phone then they said they would take my information down. I went in person twice and they said they would call me back once they spoke to the driver who supposedly delivered the package. Both times were a lie. I never received a call and never received a resolution in person. Some one clearly was stealing. I had to go through a claims process online which has still not been resolved. Again, This was last year.Today they want to give me attitude and charge me for a new label because my package wasnt labeled correctly when I have been doing it that way for months. I understand some of these ladies have been here for a while and are older and somewhat bitter at life, but there is no need to ruin someones day because they cannot communicate without giving attitude, I did not raise my voice with them, I was simply trying to understand. Dont even get me started on the process if God-forbid you are not home to receive your mail. Everyday its something new with this post office, always a hassle and never a pleasant experience.

2021-06-06If I could give zero stars I would! Every time I order a package it goes missing and I have to take time out of my day to go to the post office to find it. This is extremely unprofessional. I’ve been living over here for only 3 months and I’m literally moving back into Manhattan just to avoid this any further. This post office needs to step it up and be more professional. You’re a federal job making it seem like they just don’t care about anything. This is straight up horrible.

2021-04-01It said my package was delivered (it wasn’t.) Went to the post office to see if it’s there since I clearly didn’t get my package and was home all day. They told me it was delivered and the only person that could help me was the supervisor; to which they gave me the number of. However told me I had to call tomorrow morning since they aren’t here. I called the next morning many times to see if they could help me on finding where my package is; if the carrier misplaced it anywhere, but nothing. Never answered. I now filed a claim for my missing package and hoping something comes out of the investigation.

2021-02-09I have basically stopped getting mail. All of my packages I have to go to the post office, stand in line, and get the workers to look for them in the back. The postman says he attempts delivery, but because I am now home all the time during the pandemic I am sure there are no actual attempts. The manager is very nice and sympathetic, but there’s only so much she can do.
