Worst post office ever 😒 they never ever deliver the packages 📦 to u u get a sorry we missed u we attempted to deliver but its a lie they dont attempt to deliver only when u call the 800 number is when they deliver ur packages they should be shut down or fire all staff & hire new ones terrible service & all the workers have attitude
In a way I am glad I am not the only one having these issues. Delivery attempts are terrible and very inconsistency. For regular mails I do get mails from other tenants but doesnt always happen. As for packaging order ... I wish I can schedule my packages on my day off and select which carrier I prefer but sadly I am STUCK with USPS with the worse delivery rate. It makes other bad delivery services look amazing in comparison.Only time I would get a package is maybe on the weekend but chances are I will get a missed delivery with no one ever knocking or try to deliver to the client. I also had packages gone missing from their inventory unable to be found.I rather waste my time at the DMV than dealing with these guys.
They are horrible at this post office. Never ring the bell when my package arrives, and then wanna try and say that they missed me when delivering the package. How could I miss my package when you guys never ring the bell in the first place? This is the second time I’m going through this with this post office on Saint Ann Avenue. This post office needs to be closed immediately, I think some of the workers there steal people’s packages and claim that they can’t “find” a person’a package. Some type of investigation needs to happen, happens too often here.
Mail couriers consistently make false delivery attempts. Multiple times I have waited at home expecting a package, but it never arrives. Whenever I check online for the status of a delivery, it is always marked as delivery attempted, even though no one came to my building. The couriers never ring, knock, or leave a notice. I always have to go to the post office to ask where my package is.
I’m not sure who’s delivering packages and mail on Jackson but they need to be fired. My package was set to be held when supposed to be delivered at 7pm. At 7pm there’s a house full of people they just made no attempt to deliver. Sometimes they don’t deliver mail for days and just pack a bunch on mail on a random day. It feels like it’s nothing we can do and it sucks!
UPDATE:It was five years ago that I wrote the review below.Today I was there, and it was impossible to receive service.THIS POST OFFICE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!!!I would give them negative rating. Even when I am home when the mail-person comes I dont receive my package. Instead, I receive a delivery attempted notice, and I have to go and pick it up myself after waiting on line for half an hour. It is enough time to hear that the same happens with many others who are in the same line with me.The root of the problem is the manager of this place. Every time I was complaining, he was boosting that he had been working here for 30 years. I believe that; he has an incredible knowledge of how to game the system. He continuously imparts this knowledge with new hires. I made so many complaints over the years, for their superiors. Each and every time they came up with some forged excuse. They lie, falsify, they do everything to keep their job, and nobody does anything.It is not just about parcels: important documents from foreign countries, and paychecks also got lost on a regular basis.Its a shame that in an economy where so many decent people are looking for job, or work hard for meager paychecks these people earn good money, making hell of the life of an underserved community.
The Carriers Are Very Incompetent And ALWAYS Claim They’ve Made An Attempt To Deliver My Packages That I’ve Been Home All Day Waiting On! Then I Go To The Post Office To Pick My Stuff Up Only To Be Told It’s Still On The Truck! I Never Have An Issue With FedEx Or UPS.. Only USPS!! The Staff Especially The Supervisor Have This Nonchalant.. Counter Productive Attitude.. As If They’re Forced To Work There! This Post Office Needs New Managment And New Employees.. They have the worst carriers EVER!!!! When it comes to delivering packages they never do their job. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me and it said online they delivered to a neighbor as requested. #1 I did not request my packaged to be left my a neighbor. #2 they didnt even leave a note on my door or lobby to say which neighbor, again I had to find out about this through their website they left it with some unknown neighbor. #3 if anything they were supposed to leave it in front my door!!! Theirs cameras inside every floor of my building and outside of my building, so my packaged would be safe! And #4 they NEED to do their damn job, if theyre not happy about it get a different job, dont make other ppl miserable with you!Also at the post office their lines can be horrible, they will take forever to solve your situation until its time to close up, all of a sudden they can do things a lot faster and give you better services, but thats only when it almost time for them to close.If I could have the option to choose who could deliver my mail and packages it would be UPS of Fedx because they get their stuff done! They are way better then USPS in my opinion!
I scheduled a pickup and the package was still sent out for redelivery (by mistake). My third trip to the post office (633 st. Ann’s) was a nightmare. I went on my lunch break after having been there 2 times before and The supervisor Eugene Wright claims I could not pick up my package because my email address was used as the name on the package although the address on the ID matched the address on the package and I showed him the receipt of the package in my email. So instead of giving me my package in person, he tells me that they will redeliver my package to my address the next business day. This postal office and this supervisor are illiterate when it comes down to customer service and handling issues accordingly. If my address is the same address they are delivering to then wouldn’t it make sense to give me my package in person?! Plz help restructure this postal office. WE DESERVE BETTER POSTAL SERVICE.
The Postman NEVER rings the intercom when there’s a package. They will (sometimes) leave a notice in the mailbox. OR give to another tenant in the building. I’ve complained so many times about my packages being left with the neighbors. Nothing has changed.I had a package delivered. They only problem was it wasn’t delivered to me. Had to wait 3 days to find out who he left my package with. End results, I got my package 9 days later because the neighbor was hospitalized.Only 3 workers are pleasant. The rest, I guess they’re not happy to be there.The lines are ridiculous.This POST OFFICE TRULY SUCKS!Minus ZERO STARS is what they deserve
Worst service ever. They claim to have tried to deliver a package and say that they left a slip, however neither the attempt or the slip was left. I went to the post office and they wouldnt give me the package because the delivery address and my ID address did not match. well guess what, people ship things to other address that are not their home all the time. I have actually seen the USPS truck come in front of the building, no one exits the truck and I see the guy clicking away and then he drives off. No one wants to listen. I saw a community board member is asking the inspector general to do an audit. I fully support that.I would give no stars if I could.
As someone who orders from amazon often, it really sucks to have to go through these people. So many times I make an order and patiently wait for my package only to see that apparently my package was in an attempted delivery, and that I should have a note saying where I can pick it up. Except it wasnt and I dont. Every time I have to deal with these people its because, some low life, minimum wage earning pics of garabage, couldnt do their worthless job and actually deliver a package. Instead they lie and say that they attempted it, meanwhile no knocks on the door, no phone calls, no slip to even pick up the package, nothing. I just wanted to give a big thanks to all of these super duper hard working USPS workers who cant do simple tasks and make my day harder because their welfare checks were too small to motivate them to actually do their jobs
This is the worst post office, and they get away with what they do because it is located in the South Bronx. And I guess its ok to treat the people who live in the South Bronx like they do not matter. The postal workers here never deliver packages. They dont even leave slips or notices until the next day. They are lazy. And if you call to complain they really dont want to hear it or care. Than when you finally do go to the post office to pick up your package, they have one window for you to pick up your packages and the person attending you has an attitude problem. Very rude. I cannot wait until they close this post office and all the staff there lose their jobs. Worst customer service. Ive seen them become impatient with the elderly and the clearly mentally disabled. Screaming and being nasty to the elderly, shame on them!
Worst delivery!! they always claim no one is home. They never leave notices in the mail box when they claim no one is home. They’re just the worst in delivering. I always reschedule my deliveries but never get them, I always end up going to the post office and service is also horrible. They need to open a new post office with better customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would!
If i can give you 0 starts i would. This is the worst postal office ever, how do you get my package send it out for delivery and see that you can’t deliver because something was wrong with the address but instead of calling me or emailing about it so i can come pick it up for myself you keep MY package and then send it back. I had to file complaints and a missing mail search and still had no help until a lady called me today saying my package was sent back? You guys have done this to me multiple times and then i when i go to the post office you guys say my package isn’t there? but you don’t even go check wow. I hope someone gets fired this is the worst post office ever! And one time i came downstairs to find my slip on the floor getting walked over by everyone because the person didn’t want to wait for the elevator to deliver my things. i hope everyone gets fired
Having to deal with this post office has been the single worst delivery experience of my existence. I hate it that Im stuck with them because of my zip code. Since December Ive had to report them 95% of the time. They almost NEVER deliver my packages, but hold them at the office and dont leave a notice of any kind, so I dont even know whether my packages ever arrived. At this very moment, theyre claiming to have delivered a package to my mailbox a week ago, which I have never received nor gotten a notice for. To make matters worse a great deal of the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional and give you attitude for asking simple questions.
This place needs to be shut down ASAP, they said that I requested my package to be held at the post office, when I never made such request. I went twice to pick it up and they said that it was out for delivery. every time I went to get it. Looks like they just stole it.
They never deliver my packages although they claim they attempt to deliver. I always have to pick them up at the post office using a tracking number because I never receive a notice. I have made complaints and all they can say is that it also happens to them, as if thats suppose to make me feel any better.
If I can give no stars I would in a heartbeat. Every single time I order, ( and I do mean every time) they make a false delivery attempt and say they left a notice. Comes to no surprise there never is a notice. Ive made plenty of complaints about this specific office. One the supervisors called me and told me specifically the carriers in my area get robbed and are scared to deliver in my area. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN
This post office is just awful! They’re lazy, lie all the time about an attempt made to deliver a package when there was never an attempt or notice left! The staff are very rude when you call to inquire about your packages. This place just needs to be shut down or a whole new staff that actually do the job they’re getting paid to do. I don’t understand how their ratings as so low yet nothing is being done about this awful place! They don’t deserve any stars at all.
I do not understand why the mail workers in this area are completely lazy. Its like why should I order something online and pay shipping and handling when it doesnt even get handed to me? Might as well start sending all my stuff here to the post office since they not only know how to ring the bell, but also dont even hand the package over as it clearly displays on the shipment info. Bunch of lazy asses! Mind you most the time they just stop by an address sit in the truck and just drive off and say they attempted to deliver it. *smh*
For what i know, United State Post Office should deliver packages to its customers in anyway expect storm, bad weather, holidays(certain), but this USPS does not make the effort to. They are too lazy, slow, no work ethics, rude, unprofessional, losing packages, lack of customer service skills. I have had my packages delivered to other person and when i went there to ask them, the way one of them spoke to me was insane. The same goes to my money order for my rent was missing after mailing it inside the building. They need to get things together because its horrible . They get away with all these things beacuae they see it as government job. No action is being taken against them. i wish its was private owner.South bronx need GOOD THINGS too. we deserve better.
Like many of those who have left reviews...this post office is nothe the greatest. You have to call them to get your packages because they admit that they do not deliver them or leave notices because it is unsafe for the postal workers. Yet they some how still deliver regular mail....
I just wanted to say THANK YOU very much to the kind man working who took my package this afternoon, 4/29/20. I didnt know you now close at 430pm versus 5pm. I got there right after the new closing time with a package already labeled and just needed to be dropped off. The very nice man took it from me so it could be send out. So Thank you sir and thank you USPS.
They lose mail, they lack good customer service skills, they are rude, constantly putting other peoples mail in my box its not my responsibility to ensure my neighbors receive their mail. Ive complained to no avail. They lie and say they delivered packages but they dont leave door tags and when i complained they merely held my package in limbo
They lie all the time and say no one is home when they don’t bother to come up the elevator to ring the bell. Or they’ll give your package to some random neighbor (I don’t know these people) and you have to find which apartment your package is in because they don’t tell you, you have to call the post office to find out. I wish I had an alternative.
Worst mail carriers in the area.. they put other tenants mail in my box.. I get mail from an address around the corner from me.. I take out mail that does not belong to me out of my box the next day the carrier puts its back in.. Ive left notes to carrier about this but they dont care. They just pick up a paycheck and go home.. Ive never had a problem with the USPS until I moved to this area of the Bronx. The workers show they dont care..
And the award for worse POST OFFICE goes to yes this place. I have been here multiple times. the carriers never delivery the mail to your door so you always have to get packages picked up. when you are picking up packages they are so unorganized it hurts. if you can pay the extra and have things delivered through fedex or ups its worth it dont aggravate yourself with having to come here! if zero stars could be given I would have.
There is always a long line to send out packages/pay for something because there is only ever 1-2 staff working the windows. Also, some of the staff are quite rude. There are the select few that are helpful and sweet. Honestly I avoid going to this post office as much as possible and just visit one down in Manhattan.
I ordered an item on eBay on the 20th of Nov. The item was sent out of delivery on the 28th of Nov. The tracking showed that the item was delivered in the mailbox, yet the was not in my mailbox. Either the package was scanned and then taken back to the office (which happens often), or it was put into the wrong mailbox (which happens often). The office doesnt answer the phone, and theyre giving me a hard time trying to locate my item.UPDATE: The item was delivered to the wrong building. Theyre trying to get the item now.
Packages are never really delivered even though they say it was an “attempted delivery”. service is terrible, employees are lazy and have no idea what they are doing. About a few months ago I waited outside my apartment building for 3 hours waiting for them to come, they ended up never coming and it said “attempted delivery” on the website.
Ever since they switched the people at the parcel pick up window its been nothing but delay after delay. They cant find the package, the package is somewhere else...etc. Ive been coming here for two years and I find it hard to believe the excuses they give me when the excuses started once the guys who used to work the window were replaced. I used to be able to give my name and the tracking number and have my package in less than 2 minutes, now I spend a minimum of 20 minutes giving information, looking up dates, and being frustrated just to walk out more than half the time empty handed. This place really needs to train their employees on either actually delivering packages or at least find them when the customer is forced to come in the location. Either that or bring back the original guys who used to work the window, because the women who do it now are absolutely disappointing every time. Im waiting for them to get my package now and guess what? By some mystical power its not here.
People are extremely lazy. People who works in the USPS, you can see that they hate their job. I work at the ups store and the way I treat my customers is with respect as well as getting them out of my store within seconds. These people made me wait almost 30 minutes for a tracking package, something that takes a few minutes to do at the ups store. So sad.
They dont even get 1 star so disappointed with the whole system and how it works its ridiculous honestly! So unproffessional with how they speak to there customers ! Then to top it all off the manager doesnt help knowing there under staffed with one or two people and she sits in the back doing nothing all day but be on her phone ! But when i call cops for my package because they take too long with one customer! There very unorganzied as it is. The manager Ms Brown does nothing to help ! I think they need a new face of a manager to better assist the public with any discrepenices customers might have! The manager Ms Brown should get opt out completely fired or something ! Customers are suppose to feel welcomed and every time i have to deal with them because my package never comes on time so just walking in there post office with there faces and long lines , I really just wanna walk back out but they have my package so i have to have more patience then ever! Mind you i had to post 1 star in order to write this post =(
Most of the time they say that they had delivered a package and that no one was home, which most of the time that is not true. Many times I have been home waiting all day, and they never show up, most of the time I see the post Truck pass by with out stopping, i hate this post office.
If I could give it -0 Stars I would. They Guy & the woman that answers the phone (I dont know if theyre the managers or not) are both RUDE !! Im still missing three packages and one was suppose to be delivered April 13 but they claimTo have left a notice but they DIDNT !! So I set up a redelivery TWICE through the toll free number and once directly through them and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PACKAGE !! This makes NO Sense at all.
I never get a doorbell ring or at least an attemot whenever I get something delivered to my house. Always the slip. Its ridiculous that i get something delivered and always without fail, have to pick it up from the post office. The staff really doesnt care about delivery. When a complaint is made. They fix it but its always the same issue rwhen the next delivery comes around.

Since moving back to the Bronx Ive noticed the mail carriers handling prospect ave route to be extremely lazy and a potential hazard. I havent had my mail delivered in 2 days, when they do come instead of putting mail in my box they throw it over the fence. Ive seen them walking with a random man while they are working handling people personal mail checks ECT its unprofessional and people identities are at stake. Need more professional carriers.
I went to the post office to pick up 2 packages under one tracking numbet. There was no body at the window. I nocked on the window because no one came. Some body answered with an acttitud hold on. A woman showed up with acttitud. She saw my id then she went to get my packages. She brough one. I had to ask for the second one. She brought it. When I got home for my surprice I found out I missed another package. The two she gave me where from different tracking number.I call them back to let them know sbout the mistake and the answer machine said I have to wait 30 to 40 minutes on the phone for me to talk to some one there😠
This place is just so unorganized. And have horrible customer service. I dont understand how they just keep losing my packages, and then say that they went out with the package for delivery but instead its still at their facility. USPS headquarters needs to do something about this branch. Mistakes happen, I get that, but this is constantly going on. It shouldnt be this hard.
I have this strong feeling this establish has it out for me. How are you going to tell me the package was delivered to the front desk, when my building has no front desk or mail room. I don’t know how to get these people fired one by one. If anyone knows please let me know. Having incompetent workers should be illegal.

Horrible customer service. Horrible staff. No excuse for that . Packages are rarely brought upstairs. To some extent I can understand. Im sure they have a lot of packages to deliver daily . However , they wont even leave a slip in your mailbox letting you know your package is at the post office .
Worts customer service that I have ever encounter in any post office. I been trying to find out about my package for two days now. They keep saying that a notice was deliver, when that havent been the case. I have called the place twice now, and not even the supervisor knows where my package is. But thats not even the worst thing about the situation. I have never encounter any one so rude and unhelpful as this supervisor. He didnt. Care about my problem nor did anything to help. As it is. According to the web page. The package has been deliver at tree different occasions. But Im sorry to say this is not true as I been sitting home waiting for it. And no notice has been left.If you want a package deliver and you live in this area, do yourself a favor and go with UPS or FedEx.
I dont usually write review unless I have some really good to say or bad but in this case its really really BAD. Im supprise this place is still in business they have the worst management and employees skill ever. They one gave away my package to the wrong person when I ask why they told me that person has my ID someone else has Im ID but me and even if they did why would you give a package to a person that dont match the ID. Man these people are idiots.....SMH
9 out of ten times these jokers will leave a note instead of ringing your buzzer so that you can come down?? like why....what gives ....ohh not to mention all of the carriers that service my address are always on the Bluetooth headset yapping away as if they trading stocks....oh yea and the look they give you when you stare at them ....just a fed up postal service client.
This is the worst post office ever!!! Ive lived in this area for about 15 years and I cant say anything nice through out the years. They answer the phone after 10 rings or more, you stay on hold for 15 min or more and no one ever knows anything. They always state on the tracking website that delivery was attempted and a notice was left, none of that is true.

The guy that answers the phone was rude and nasty 😖👎🏻when I got to the post office to pick up my package, my box looked like it was tampered with and it was missing 2 items, they need to fire everybody that works in that post office and replace them with reliable workers.

They always say they attempted to deliver yet its never true. out of all the times Ive had packages deliver to me only once I saw a note!. then when you go pick up your package theres always a huge line and they take for ever to look for your package. not only that sometimes they dont even find them and say its probably on the truck being delivered for the 5th time !!!!!! horrible horrible horrible!
Dont do business with this post office. Worst customer service ive ever had. Couldnt retrieve my package after they failed to deliver it yesterday RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE ITSELF. Like how embarrassing is it to work across the street from a location you are suppose to deliver to and cant even make a simple drop off? on top of that they claimed they attempted to deliver this last night LOL this place is a JOKE. Go to a different postal station and if you live in the area do not expect these postal workers to care for your situation.
The mail person that came to 745 E 152nd st on 4/24/2020 stole my package from target and said they delivered and put in the locker you theft no key 🔑 was never place in my box 📦 you got away with nothing but food hope your boss is reading with you broke self stealing from people
Horrible service no one picks up the phone and when they do they leave i on hold forever!!!! And on top of that they misplaced or lost my package unbelievable and upsetting!!!! It’s like they don’t care when u speak to them over the phone i cant really do much with my package i see it as a lost now i don’t even wanna order if it’s coming from that damn office.... Clerk no. 7 refused to accept a parcel, stating that USPS does not accept outside envelopes or envelopes with any advertising on them, refused to allow me to buy a replacement USPS envelope and its postage in the same transaction, then refused to accept a second parcel because I had reinforced its built-in glue closure with scotch tape. Ninth circle of hell.
The laziest people you will ever meet. Never come upstairs, never even leave a note saying they were here, don’t even have the decency to ring the buzzer ( I would rather go downstairs to get it ) but no, instead after every single order I have to go pick it up at the post office. What’s the point?

The asian guy behind the pick up counter was extremely rude and threw all 3 of my FRAGILE small delivery boxes into the pick up window FOR NO REASON, in fact he threw them so hard that they bounced off the other side of the glass which was absolutely unacceptable....this place needs to be seriously rebooted with new employess AND management especially with how they treat and speak to people it just blows my mind
I mailed out credit card bills on 2/28/15 at this post office and not one has been received at its destination, im calling the post office to inquire what happened, no one is picking up the phone, now i am being billed late charge fees because of the incompetence of this post office, no one wants to help you, no one wants to pick up the phone, Unprofessional!!.
Horrible service, packages that cannot enter the building as in my case, if they do not leave it where the neighbor in the office does not appear, a package of mine was left in another house, a package from the neighbor had access that time to my building and they are so unresponsible that they brought it up to my apartment on the 3rd, now Im going to look for a package and it doesnt appear, when they give me the number to call them, I call it rings and rings and then they pick it up and hang it up, because Please do something or else close it and all the packages that send it to the grand concourse are further away, but they are more efficient.

2022-04-15This location needs NEW management so they can fire the staff (not all) . Soooooo two of the women there are very disrespectful and rude behind that window on April 7th. I witness one being rude to two different senior citizens and she saw that I witness her behavior so she calmed down real quick. Now for my situation with the woman next to her (🐷) was also rude and had the nerve to make ugly faces to me. She asked a question and I answered her that all my packages need to be stamped (she definitely didn’t hear me cause she was to busy chatting with the other rude one) then she spoke rude saying I didn’t ask you about your other packages. I asked about this one with a ugly tone in her voice. Calling customer service doesn’t give us a option for staff complaints. We have no way reporting your employees when needed and they also know this. I think that’s why they act this way at the HUB location. This definitely ain’t the first time

2022-06-19The worst customer service. I was so excited when i started going againbecause they had switch staff and there was two young ladies very kind.then a couple of weeks later it change back to the rudeness and nasty attitude customers service specially one women she is so rude and nasty always gives hard time. I run a small business,went to dropp off a package and was told by this rude lady that i cant have a receipt, because the date was a day before im like but i got the order after 8pm,that dont make no sense to me.i rather walk to grand concourse and use self-service.

2022-06-13They used to be horrible back in the day; they had a puertorican lady, as supervisor with a horrible attitude. Now, they go above and beyond and are actually helpful.

2021-04-14Only problem I have with this post office is that the mail workers keep leaving packages at the wrong lockers. I had a neighbor nice enough to bring me my package that they left in her locker, nowhere near my floor either. Not everyone is nice enough to bring you back your package. They need to get it together. Also stop leaving packages on the floor in the hallway like nobody is going to steal it.

2021-07-08Worst attention ever. They are not patient to explain things. It’s like they’re playing defensive all the time even when your tone is normal. My package was lost and they didn’t want to give me a number to call. After I insisted, the manager nicely gave me the number and was surprised that her coworker didn’t know that there was a number for lost package. They need to work in their communication skills

2021-08-31The tracking info for my packages always say delivery attempted/ notice left but there is always someone home to receive packages and whoever is supposed to be doing the delivery does not knock the door (it is literally a first floor), ring the bell nor leaves a notice, very unprofessional and irritating.
