Package has yet to arrive. Had issue rescheduling. Representatives are nice, however their system is flawed. No notice is left when attempting delivery the first time. Do not appreciate waiting for my package for such a long time. Does this post office, or any in general deliver pass 8pm?
Zero stars if possible. The staff at this location are very irresponsible. I had an amazon package being held for pick up at this location, I went to pick up this item and was waiting for an hour for my package. They failed to locate the package and took down my information and told me they will contact me with updates on where my package might be. Weeks go by and they don’t even answer their phones. I come to find out through amazon that they mysteriously found the package and returned it to sender. Never bothered to inform me that they found it. P.s. this was a CHRISTMAS gift. Today is January 11th 2021. By far the worst post office in the area.
Lazy, rude, dishonest, unprofessional staff. they do nothing but lie (about packages not being delivered, not being there, etc.). theyll claim they *cant* do things just because they dont feel like it (one employee lied to my face, saying it wasnt possible to do what i asked, until i refused to leave and she eventually did it, proving she COULD the whole time), theyll refuse to help, even if you have all your documentation, etc. its no wonder the USPS is struggling to stay open. no one would miss it either.
The WORST service I have ever received from a postal carrier. My express shipping item was supposed to be delivered 1/17, it is now 2/5 and I still have not received it or any info regarding it. Called this location (who also doesn’t answer) over a dozen times and haven’t received any progress, would get false promises on redelivery and never even received a notice slip (which shows they didn’t do their job correctly if you apparently ‘missed’ me). Erica and a male with the last name Rodriguez were completely unreliable and rude. Their ‘attempts’ to deliver weren’t attempts at all. My front door is open (anyone could walk directly inside without a key/code) and the individuals who the package is for are DISABLED meaning they are home at all times and need the package delivered directly to the apartment. Never once for almost 3 weeks have they heard a knock or doorbell from this USPS location. I cannot pick up because I work during all hours of operation. I am extremely disappointed in this profoundly repulsive service and that these workers at this location cannot do their actual job and fester daily with lazy and unprofessional character. Let alone have no respect for disabled individuals or the satisfaction of their customers. Outwardly ridiculous and I would not give them any stars whatsoever if that were an option.
The worst post office in the area!! Horrible service. Im constantly having to go pick up my package because the mail people LIE and say attempted delivery and I was home the ENTIRE TIME!! This is CONSTANTLY PROBLEM. And one of the supervisors there name Pedro is one of the rudest people Ive ever had to deal with regarding customer service. He gave me his number and told me when I have a problem again w a package to call him at that very moment, well lo and behold it happened again, I called him no answer at all! The next day he gets mad at me and tells me I dont care what happens to your package again, you called me too many times, dont call my phone again! DISGUSTING!! Im still gonna make sure it gets reported and he faces consequences!! I HATE this place and the staff!!
The staff lie almost every time they don’t want to go upstairs, they said attempt to deliver, when they don’t even try, 1 of my package was sent back to the sender, just because of that, and when I went to pick it up, only 1 day between, they told me it was sent back , when I asked how many days they should keep the package after attempt , they told me 2 weeks , so I asked why they sent it so quickly, they did not have answer. 🤬🤬🤬
Got only 1 person for pick-up that’s super slow and got the line going out two doors already unbelievable hate this post Office should fire the leader that thinks this a good way for pick-up or close this post Office and get a whole new team in here after the close down and re open with new team
Worst post office experience ever. The tellers were too busy talking to each other and laughing instead of actually helping customers that stood in line for 30 minutes and more. My package then mysteriously became lost after I was told over the phone that it was there. The teller then told me with an attitude, I dont know what to tell you call, the company and tell them that its lost. Thank goodness that it was Amazon and they were very understanding.
This post office is pretty disorganized , needs New Staff, A manger on site, and more staff working. The current workers are Rude and seem bothered by every word a costumer says And most of the time they never find peoples packages which is crazy and unexplainable. And lets not talk about wait time!! They will be on there phones doing other instead of doing their job.
ZERO STARS!!! The absolute WORST post office is existence. Ive had numerous terrible experiences with them but this most recent one was the worst. They LOST my package for several days after failing to even try to deliver it cause I was home all day when they claimed to have tried. One of the works took down my contact info and said the manager would contact me when they found it so I could pick it up. After 4 days of it being lost I see that my package is being RETURNED TO SENDER. Literally the most incompetent idiots I have ever come across. Its gotten to the point where I wont even order from certain companies if I know they use USPS as their carrier. They have nasty attitudes as well. The manager did call to apologize but honeslty what good is an apology when my package has already been sent back?!
The worst Postal Office, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. They lie about dropping off your delivery and leaving a note, you have to go to the office yourself to pick up your own package. This is my second time having this problem, I need someone to investigate this location many people need to be fired because these employees dont want to work, they give the USPS a bad name.
If you have the option to travel to a different post office, do so!!! The costumer management at this place is ridiculous. I am sure the employees are trying to do their job to the best of their ability but the lack of organization and management makes it harder for them. There are extremely low on staff. Got to their location to pick up a package, 2 hours later they had still not found it. The lines are extremely long and to speak to a manager you will need to wait about another two hours. Even if it’s a longer commute, travel to a different location.
This post office is filled with incompetent people. The most disgusting post office ever. Very under staffed or the staff aren’t doing their job. The employees are extremely rude. Nobody takes the initiative to help out just to get the lines down. You’ll be waiting up to 2 hours to get a package. Something needs to be done!
I went to pick up a package today, my wifes package by the way and i was told multiple things. First i work from 7 to 4 in another state. I never make it on time to collect packages i miss. My wife hasnt updated ids and works from 7 to 5 (both monday thru friday.) We also work saturdays which is why we cant pick up saturdays and sundays the office is closed. I got out early today and lost 2 hrs of work to pick up this package before 5 and just to finally be told you cant pick up without tracking number...Now the tracking number i had was the company tracking number i recieved for their side of delivery. I lost a package for redelivery which is why i dont want to do that. The lady didnt want to hear me at all! Or even help me a bit with proving the package is mine. I asked for a supervisor and got someone. She tracked it with my address which proves to me that the lady who had the window was just avoiding to do more work. I let the supervisor know its a certain color box Then when lady goes to get the package she asks... Whos ... I didnt reply immediately but the box is right in front of me. I let her know that shes my wife and she says i cant give you without her ID knowing what i have to go through i ask if i call her and she shows the ID via video can i collect the package i was interupted throughout the sentence with no no no not without the physical ID i see her go back to put it away and i know they are not going to have it tomorrow.How can anyone be satisfied with this service, first you get no help, then when you do get help, you get teased and just because of a name difference you cant collect the package. I learned that when a person is trying to get something and gets told no and its theirs they get mad... This happened to me and something needs to happen. I got teased with the package and got ice cold refusals for a package that is technically mine (its my wifes but with my address). I called her and let her know and now we are wondering if we can get anything delivered to us. We are never home in the morning and we work weekends. I lose a lot of money trying to collect a package and it shouldnt be that way. And once again, there was a monday last month where i was suppose to get a package and apparently it got delivered successfully without reaching my door.People slander and boycott places like this and if people did not need packages, this place would not exist anymore.
This post office routinely fails to deliver packages on their expected dates. They are incredibly unprofessional and neglect to respond to missing package reports.I dont even know why Im reviewing because nothing seems to be changing.Good luck - if youre reading this, youre about to have one hell of an experience... and it wont be a good one.
I have video of the workers talking about customer in this office . I have missing inform mail am not one worker want to work i call everyday and no one pick up and they hear the phone ring but wont pick up and if they do pick up they put you on hold till you decide to hang up ...i been on hold for more then hour...The male manger is very rude in person and on the phone i wish the would change all the staff in this place so we can have better help with our mail
Okay. The customer service is very unprofessional with her attitude on the phone. There could be 5 to 6 people behind the desk, but one actual person working. Obviously they need to be evaluated, because they should be fired. Its sad this has to be my Local Post office. Only good thing I say is the package carriers ONLY thats IT even then they deliver peoples mail to the wrong boxes. like literally I ADVISE YOU NOT TO MAIL ANYTHING FROM HERE, by this lady not reading carefully on my desired address shipment they delivered to the wrong address costing me 300$ and the post office being unable to do anything about it.
The other day I was here I came about 40 mins before closing. They left multiple customers standing outside who were here earlier before me and locked the door on everyone, most customers were here an hour or more before closing. And then if you come here early to avoid the lines they don’t open on time. Usually they open 10-20 mins late. Most employees are extremely irresponsible and they are in control of our mail. This is a federal building and it’s run very unprofessionally.
This post office in a word Sucks. One package was supposed to be redelivered on 12/1. Never received it and now theres a problem with receiving a second package where it says delivered and left with individual. Thats a bold face lie. My neighbor across the hall from me had the same problem with her package a week ago. Too many complaints without anything being done. Time to go to the media. This is rediculous.
Yesterday I wated all day for my package. never came. then I get a gmail saying. they came and noone was here. this happens every weekend. for a long time. we need people that really need a job and want to work.and the post office is no better. real long lines. and one worker.
I dont know whats going on with this post office but I havent had any mail delivered since August 11th even though on usps informed its telling me that I should have been getting mail everyday but none has been inside my mailbox my package was syppose to be delivered on August 14th but they said they attempted and would try the next day but they didnt because the package could fit in the mailbox i need answers because there is important mail that it said I was receiving. How can I get my stuff.
Absolutely the WORST post office branch in the Bronx. They assume that since this neighborhood is the lowest of the low, and treat their customers accordingly. The majority of the staff is very rude and curt. They do not have the amenities that the other offices do. No vending machines for stamps, and you have to wait on line to get the slips and envelopes to fill out, such as certified, registered mail and express mail. Then you have to wait again for them to complete the transaction. I had to wait 45 min to pick up a package, and witness nasty and incorrect information given to customers. One worker rudely insisted that the package was not there, but thank God the manager searched and found it. The rude staffer should have been written up or FIRED for her behavior. AND she displayed it in front of her manager! Someone of authority within the postal management needs to come in (un-announced and not in uniform) to just listen and watch what goes on!
I was up all day waiting for my package to get a email about reDeliver. Nobody ring my bell or anything. This is by far the worst postal office. Very slow and unprofessional like they just hired anybody. Then I went up for my package and was told I have to come back the next day. From now on I will not be ordering anything online to my home because that post office is a mess.
My daughter and I were expecting our passports to be delivered as a priority mail 1-DAY on Friday August 2, 2019. Our flight was scheduled for Saturday August 3, 2019 @ 10PM.We missed our flight and so I had to paid $912 to rescheduled the flight for Monday August 5, 2019 because the USPS failed to deliver them on time.We received our passport from the Supervisor on Aug 5, 2019 @ 10AM and what he said was” I’m sorry the delivery man was a new guy and he left all the packages that was supposed to be delivered in my building to the wrong building across the street from my building”.The Supervisor handed me my package on August 5, 2019 but changed the delivery day on the system to August 3, 2019. To make it look as the package was delivered on time.This was the worst experience I ever felt.I wish I had a different zip code than 10456. I really hate dealing with that post office.
This is the most messed up post office. Dont deliver mail in days and it a crisis going on I have 2 kids single working mom and i have very important mail that was mailed off 3 weeks ago..still havent recieved it. They need to shut it down..close it. Cause they dont care and postal service gonna bring law suits.
Worst ever post office I have ever been.. waited more than an hour just to speak with a supervisor because they don’t know what happened with my package. The supervisor never comes. Smh a whole facility of usps without supervisor for more than hour. If I could I swear I would of rate them 0 star. Unprofessionals workers.
If I could give this post office lower than one star I would. This place is disgusting with the worst human beings possible working here. They lie about delivering packages or that they made an attempt to do so on daily basis. Theres plenty of times Ive gone there and workers put what Im there to get accomplished on hold to make personal phone calls right in front of me talking about nonsense.They rude and never answer the phone. Ive made 20 calls in a day to inquire about my packages and theyd either not answer or hang up. Its unbelievable what customers to through with this post office.
I been in this postal office for about 3 hours heading to 4. I am more then pissed off, very bad customer service. When asked for help takes over 30 minutes to get back at you. Lady attending me in the pick up line had a huge attitude and would ignore me at times. I am the only one out of everybody that has come in to the pick up line and still am here since 10:00. Also when I call from home to there office number they dont pick up and while being here I witness them letting the phone ring and not picking up AT ALL! This Post office seriously needs new employees. BTW Ive been waiting for a packet they can find.
When a request for redelivery is placed for a specific date, it appears that they can not be bothered to actually do as what is promised. All they can muster is an empty apology that does not return the loss of being forced to sit at home all day to wait for no one that will ever show.Their level of authenticity is grossly unprofessional but it seems that since they are protected by a union that does not implement repercussions without pay. As long as this horrid lack of customer service continues to persist, the customers of USPS will suffer and begin to seek other methods of postal service.
This is one of the worse post offices to go to. Its mental abuse! The lines are extremely long and the service is very slow. Its always overcrowded. Theres no elderly or disability line, so those in that condition are forced to stand with the rest of us. No matter what time of day you come to this post office, it is always overcrowded and under staffed. Instead of 2 or more employees working to give us our packages, its almost always 1 person collecting our slips and searching/fetching for our packages. This line is also the same line for people with broken mailboxes (in which those people can only retrieve their mail between 12pm-2pm). Although the outside sign states they open at 8am, they do not open the doors until 9am. Oh! And by the way, theres no parking, so you also have to deal with the anxiety of possibly getting a ticket before getting your package. As I mentioned before, this post office station is pure mental abuse! Im so sorry that Im zoned for this USPS station. I dread every time I must come here.
Horrible!!! The first time I went to this post office there was a heavy set lady that was at the pick up window, she was super rude to the lady in front of me so much so that I was uncomfortable walking up to the window after her. When I got to the window now, I tried to be as polite as possible to lighten the mood but to no avail. She snatched my mail card from me and gave me so much attitude to the point I felt my blood boiling. Never went back again. Now my issue is that for the past 2 delivery attempts that I had at my home. Theyve been coming to just leave delivery slips and write 9 am on them as the time of delivery meanwhile I WAS HOME WAITING AT 9am. This happened twice this week. Its super annoying. I dont know how an establishment of any kind that has an overall rating of 1.0 and the absolute worse reviews in the history of reviews is still standing. This issue needs to be addressed asap. And the heavy set lady at the pickup window gotta go. She alone already has to many complaints.
I go there regularly cause its the closest to me, the lines are always long, the staff work so slow! Most of the time theyre busy chatting and being rude to customers!!! My son was told he had to buy another box, when in fact I use the same boxes all the time! I went and they took my package with no problem. They tried to take advantage of my teen so he would have to spend money! The stands are never restocked as well, you have to stand on a long line to ask for something, then wait on line again to mail it. Its truly ridiculous, changes need to be made!!!
This place sucks! I was Suppose to get my package March 5, they claimed they attempted but didn’t ring the bell or leave a notice. I then Rescheduled a redelivery THREE times and they still lying saying they attempted. I was fed up and went to the post office who’s line was so long i was On that line for a whole hour and a half. I went To the window and ge lady said my package isn’t there it’s out for delivery, I’m so annoyed i go Home and then receive a call from that same lady pretending to be someone else that my package was there the Whole time and did not go out for delivery. I contacted USPS and made a complaint as well as amazon. Amazon sent me a new package that’s suppose to be delivered by usps this morning and they STILL did not deliver it! I’m so fu*king annoyed!!!!!! Shut this place down already!!!!! A whole bunch of young dummies that don’t wanna do their job!
I have no idea why the service from and at this postal office is so terrible. The delivery folks just do t deliver packages. Many of the buildings in neighborhood are walk ups and they just dont attempt to even deliver. They will not ring your bell or call you or anything. Then when you go to the post office its over an hour wait to get your package on a good day it they can even find. Earlier this month I got there at 9:30 one half hour after it opened and waited a full hour to get my package. The line was already wrapped around the facility, and people who has submitted their tickets were just lining the wall. Some people only got half of their packages and some ppl never got anything. Its truly the WORST, I dread going there. Just my luck though Im going to brave the maddness tomorrow because despite the fact my husband was there waiting for the package they still failed to deliver it. Smh.
Im willing to bet this is the worst post office in New York period. I cant believe that these are government employees! The rudest, most unprofessional customer service environment I have ever experienced. Especially clerk number 12 who had me waiting at the window for 15 minutes only to come back and ask me all my information again because she misplaced the pick-up slip. She then threatened to refuse me service because I got agitated, as anyone else would be. The postmaster general needs to come and rid this place of these lazy employees asap.
They lost my package multiple times. Im about to file a report. They didnt even attempt to deliver to me and I am home all day due to COVID. The item in that package is super expensive as well. I even went down there myself to get the package but they did not have it. The workers are so lazy, they all need to get fired.
They updated the location to attempted delivery, despite me being home quarantined and leaving no note I requested it to be redelivered on 5/13, it’s not 6/6 and they haven’t redelivered it or told me where my package is and I’ve called about 100 times and no one ever answers. I’ve had really important packages mailed back to senders because of their lack of competency.
So here I am again, two months after my first review to report another issue with this office. There was some very important mail I was expecting and it was placed in a neighbors mailbox on Monday. The new neighbor, who lives on the other side of the building on the same floor, knocked on the door and handed the mail over to my mother. Its nice to know there are some honest people in this neighborhood. My name and address was correct on the package. I was also expecting some very important mail on yesterday (8/1/19) and my mailbox was empty. I hope there isnt another mail misplacement or worse, its been stolen.I needed two flat rate boxes. I was in that Morrisania Station for 1 hour and 10 minutes for 2 boxes. I wanted to send a birthday box to my son and one to a relative who is deployed.I enter the lobby at 9:30am, go to where the boxes are supposed to be stored/displayed and there were none. I go to the window clerk and inform her, there were no flat rate boxes on the floor and I needed two. She said we dont have any. I said, yall dont have any at all in the building. She retracted and said, well we have them, but somebody has to go get them. As soon as someone comes, Ill get them to get them for you.After about a 15 minute wait, I see the manager in a blue shirt, the clerk I spoke to and young lady who just walked, who was an employee chatting. Her shift was to start at 10, as per the chat I heard between the 3 postal employees. She was allowed to clock in before 10. Smart move in my opinion because the line for clerk services was ridiculous and the window for package pick had no one.Anywho, I thought for sure, either the manager or the one who had clocked in early would get the boxes for me because the clerk couldnt leave the window to get them for me. I go to the clerk and ask can the guy in the blue shirt get the boxes for me? She said listen, wait, I got you. She smiled and said again. I got you. I say okay and I walk back over to the box display and wait. I am annoyed but I said let me see how long this is gonna play out.Well people, I was in there for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It should have only taken me half a minute, if that, to walk in, get 2 boxes and go. Those boxes should have been in stock, on the floor, in the display before the lobby doors were opened. I dont know whose job that is or whose responsibility that is but they dropped the ball.The guy that brought the boxes over, finally, to the display, after 10am, said, this is not my job while he fumbled to open the packs of boxes to put in the display case.Another guy that came a half an hour after me also wanted flat rate boxes and he conveyed that to the guy in the blue shirt, Mr. Rodriguez, the manager. That guy waited five minutes and left. There were others that walked off the line and left.Just as I was about to get my boxes and go, Mr. Rodriguez yells out Aye wheres the guy that was waiting for those boxes?. I just shook my head, grab four boxes instead of two and left. Next time I will ask my Sister, a supervisor in the post office, to bring me boxes from her office in NJ. She comes to the city to see our mom once or twice a week.They appreciate your business but the service they provide is awful.
I wish there was an option to NOT give a business a star. This is by far the absolute worst experience and postal location. The sign clearly states “ we are courteous and move with URGENCY”. What a lie! The employees are rude and take their time. Especially with a line out the door. Seriously in the dead of winter there are customers waiting out the door. I waited on line for 45min to pick up a small box. The line DID NOT BUDGE for 45min! Not one person was helped. And the supervisor? If you ever happen to read this, cannot believe you let this happen. Your employeed walk away from the window for minutes on end and come back empty handed. Only to then walk away again with one package after taking 5 slips!If there is a way you can avoid this location i strongly suggest you do. Your day will be ruined by this madness. It should NEVER take an hour and a half to pick up a package.
I dont understand why this place is still up and running. I simply dont get it. The workers are absolute stereotypes, and it breaks my heart. Lazy with bad attitudes. Want jobs, yet dont want to work, and make more money and have better benefits than people who do harder jobs. Its absolutely sickening. They dont deliver packages, and will say that they did, while youve been home all day waiting for it. Not even a recite with a tracking number to take to them. Im almost positive that half of my Amazon packages are sitting in these workers homes. Im disgusted. The bronx deserves better. Get rid of this place. Destroy it. Burn it to the ground. I would rather travel to Manhattan to pick up my packages rather than come to this place. This is the exact reputation that Blacks and Hispanic people are trying to fight against, yet you have those who are more than willing to set us back with the stereotype of the lazy postal worker that you see on TV. Who ever runs these facilities clearly arent looking at these comments, because theyve done nothing to change anything. Im not familiar with writing petitions or proposals, but if anyone is up for writing one and having it sent to the bronx borough president and the bronx assembly please respond to this review. Lets get some reform or have this place shut down. Its beginning to be unbearable. We want the service that we pay for. If we have to adhere to standards at our job, so should these people.
Hands down worst post office ever. My packages are never delivered to my home. I schedule redelivery, nothing happens. I cal the post office, no one ever picks up. I really don’t understand how people here still have jobs. Is there anyway to get this place to shut down and reopen with new employees???????
THE MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER!!!! The lines are ridiculously long, the staff is sooooooo rude and just NASTY to customers. The person at the pick up window is slower than molasses; somehow they NEVER know where your package is- always tells you to contact your carrier to offset the blame. Dont even think about calling because they NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE!! I have a station right up the street from me and I always wondered why I have to walk almost six blocks to this disgusting place.....smh.
If I could give this post office 0 stars I would. The clerks are rude and unprofessional cursing and using obscene language. Including n word this and n word that, surprised they’re representing the United States post office, must be easy to get hired. The clerks ask you if you’re mailbox is broken or if you were home..: obviously I wasn’t home if I’m at the post office trying to get my package. This is by far the worst post office in nyc, the Bronx in particular and I’ve been to plenty. Needs to be shut down immediately or new staff should be hired, I don’t even think a training would help.
Terrible post office. Now they dont even try to leave the inquiry paper in the mailbox. You have to find the information online and even so they cant find your package. If you ask to speak with a supervisor or manager, prepare to wait for hours. I hope everything I order comes from FedEx or UPS.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. They LIED about attempting to DELIVER my package and one time they even left my package OUTSIDE and someone had to bring it to my door and said that people were kicking it around. When I called to see if my package was there the SUPERVISOR YELLED AT ME. DISRESPECTED ME. I asked for redelivery and I was told to call the 1-800 number and got hung up on. Never been so disrespected by a staff before in my life. UNPROFESSIONAL DESERVE TO GET FIRED EXPECT TO BE REPORTED.
Worst post office i have ever been to. Packages dont get delivered and they say that they came and no kne was home, and they never came to deliver no package. And they never leave the slips have the time when they so called come to your house. I hate this post office if it shut down i would be glad.
I hate this post office they never deliver a package all i receive is the i missed you note (and thats if youre lucky) in the mailbox not even infront of my door im pretty sure they didnt even make an attempt to deliver my package..... i think about 3times before i order something online. Lines form outside and customer service suck and theyre very slow and rude ugghh
Should be a zero stars always put ting Sheridan mail in my mailbox and I live in Sherman Ave get mail shipped and returned because carrier is saying its wrong address undeliverable smh worst post office EVERRRRR...!!! And never mind having to pick up a package prepared to wait a minimum of a hour to a hour and a half for a package that should have been delivered to your house I use to work for post office and know tricks of the trade by to know how lazy this post office is its unbelievable. Knowing theres someone in my house 24/7 but I get a slip in my mailbox saying package has to be picked up
They steal mail, they dont deliver mail they even said they were robbed and lost my package that was worth over $200. Beware of this post office, all of them there should get fired... we should all work together to bring this up to the government... this issue is getting out of hand. They lost like 6 or 7 of my packages... I dont trust them at all... I think theyre lazy and probably just like to steal mail so that they can resell it for themselves.
Worst USPS Postal Office the employees are rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I needed help finding my lost package and some how the mail lady Tania or Tanya however you spell her name lost my package. Supervisors were unsupportive and uncooperative. This all happen 02/15/2019.
This post office is truly unreal. These things will only happen in the Bronx . Doors open at 9am and no one was at the package window to help at all. Meanwhile I waited on a line for one hour just to pick up a package and I was like number 10 on the line . The reason this continues is because there arent enough website complaints . Out of all the 50 plus customers today Saturday June 25 , 2016 Im the only one thats gotten on website to complain . Complaining over at the post office is not the answer. Thank you to Morrisania post office for wasting and hour of my day off!!!!😤 .
This is the worst post office I think in the county of the bronx. The workers are the most unprofessional and the worst customer service there is, the mail never gets deliver right and never on time, they lie to the customers saying packages were delivered and never gets delivered, they leaves packages outside on the streets then they say it was delivered to customers, this postoffice needs to be shutdown and fired everyone.. the post wokers are most laziest Ive ever in counter...
Depending on the front desk person, the lines can move fast or super slow. Customer service is poor, which is unfortunate. Not sure if they are understaffed, but they definitely need more help here. Cleanliness is satisfactory. This place needs an upgrade. Curently, not a good representation of the Bronx.
Update from my last review on May 31st 2018... so I never recieved my package from them because it was STOLEN BY THEM. The last person I spoke to, who I wish I knew her name, pointblank told me it was ripped open with nothing in it and there was nothing she could do. My tracking status went from saying it was set for redelivery on May 31st to now saying they are currently awaiting package HOW?!!!! When ya already told me ya had an EMPTY PACKAGE!!! I truly dont understand how this eatablishment is still open...
I had a small plant shipped to two different locations in the Bronx. I elected to receive text messages alerting me every detail concerning delivery. They both said out for delivery. I was at one location waiting when I got a text saying attempt was made and slip was left. I ran outside to see what was going on. No slip was even left, they lied. I tried calling, no one answered, now I have to walk around 10 blocks to see whats going on. I gave a one star, how about a 0.I spoke to a carrier and he told me sometimes young carriers are lazy and wont even get out their truck and fill out a slip and g Ive it to another carrier to deliver.
The experience at this post office is miserable. It takes literally 10+ minutes to retrieve a single package- when the line wraps throughout the entire store, expect to wait for hours. Perhaps the office needs more resources, perhaps the staff needs replacing. In any case, this place needs to change.
Phones are never answered, Agents are horribly rude and unprofessional, packages are lost and sometimes arent recorded properly, the carriers never find the will to walk up a flight of steps. If you say come up, you have 17 secs to run downstairs and get your package before the mail carrier writes his slip, turn around and pull off in their truck... Wish i lived in another zip code honestly.
I live in NJ and visit my mom and sister on 167th Washington Ave every weekend, this is the worst post office Ive ever seen, the employees are so rude you cant even ask a simple question without an employee jumping in your throat with the rudest attitude and nasty answer. I dont think the USPS is going to do something about that place, because its been like this for awhile and nothing has changed.
This place is closeable. My mail is constantly sent back to sender, stamped person unknown etc. Ive been in this apt. For 38yrs. There is no such thing as person unknown. 8 dont know who to report this to. My bills are not being received at all now (April 2016), they only come once a month.Whose watching the workers? The envelopes didnt stamp themselves.To the powers that be, DO SOMETHING......😠😬😈
Ive been in the neighborhood for over 30 years and by far the worst service in The United States. This post office needs to be closed down. The manager and staff are never ever coutious and or professional... I honestly believe my package was never brought to my home because knowone knocked at my door and I was home all day.. I just got a slip in the door...Ive been on line for 45 minutes and Counting this is just awful...
I swear to god this Postal Office is the WORST place Ive ever been to. There customer service is horrible , theyre attitudes are disgusting , each & every one of those people who work there are so disrespectful towards the customers that come in & out of that place. One time the mail lady had put my mail in the wrong mailbox so when I called the postal office to find out what went wrong I guess after they had called her, told her & that SAME DAY she came to my FRONT DOOR almost in to my home & immediately started yelling & fighting with me told me Next time dont call my job you come to me & tell me your issues mind you I was only 17 & I just turned 18.. So now I call because while I was in school on October 18th, 2016 I missed a delivery so I then rescheduled a redelivery that same day for the 19th the next day & todays the 20th & I still have not received my package. There suppose to have it at the postal office now & over the phone they just told me We cant find it like how unprofessional can USPS really be this is just disgusting .
They lie all the time about delivery. an attempt was made, couldnt get into the building, no one answered etc. I live in a private house, wr work from home and have a dog who barks any things the door bell rings. Im now waiting on 5 packages. 2 of which was due the day of the storm. received packages from UPS on storm day.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 worst, 10 best) on customer service, Id give it a solid -231/10. That goes for both mail man/woman and clerks at the joint. The fact that they have jobs makes me question usps choice of hire process. They constantly lie about making attempts and that the package is not at the location. They need to shut this place down or fire everyone and hire a younger, eager, new staff. For this location specifically cuz some other places are tolerable. Ups employees legit in the middle of a snow storm, rain, maybe even if the world is ending will deliver my pakage even if its late at night.
Delivered my package to someone else that’s not my address when clearly you can see where it belongs, I went to speak about it with the supervisor she just said am call u never called back worst post office never do their job well. Not recommended they should close it.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I stood on a rediculously long line to pick up my package. This place is understaffed and clearly unorganized. It should not take you over 20 minutes to deal with each customer. I blame management for such poor service .... there should be no reason for such horrendous disorganization.
This location is the worse ever. The many times that they say they have attempted delivery is beyond count, to make it worse there is always someone in my house. Today was the tipping of the water. I am fuming at this location. They say they delivered my package and that it was left with an individual at this address when I was clearly home and they didnt deliver jack @^%#. I will be filing a complaint and Im hoping that more residents will do the same! Disgusted with this location!!!!
I seriously hate this post office, they misplace your packages, the line to pick up your package is always out the door. Theres only one person that does the package window so you have no choice but to wait forever to get your package. You spend a minimum of 20 minutes in here to get your package up to a maximum of 45 minutes.

I have mixed reviews. Usually, theres a long line when I go to use this post office. The workers are fast and to the point. There was a woman who was rude to me once, so that coincides with the terrible customer service reviews so far.Overall, its a subpar postal service.
Worst post office in the city!!! 5 windows only one person working. Picking up packages is the worst!!!! Customer service sucks everyone is slow and rude!!!! Today Ive been calling the post office or morning they pick up the phone they dont answer they hang up the phone I call again same thing this is like my 5th complain to this office I spoke to the mailman they putting my mail and somebody elses mailbox and Im getting the other person mail just because the last name is the same inside my mailbox I have the name and last name of the people they live in this apartment and this was done requested by the mailman so I dont understand why Im not getting mail and they dropping the mail and in other building how I know this the super knock on my door to bring me my mail that he finds on the floor. Absolute worst. Epic fail. Being a federal organization this establishment and its representatives are not presented proffesionally nor are the attiutdes. The customer service in person is horendous at best. The web information has not been updated either, the phone is incorrect. When I finally got a correct? phone number it rang and rang with no answer, even after calling several times within an hours time. Mail is not something that should be taken lightly. There are people waiting for time sensative and important articles and/ or packages. This location and others in Bronx, unfortunatley, continue to confirm the Bronx bad reputation overall with uunpleasant energies, visible attitudes and just plain horrible service. The well compensated federal employees representing this location unregrettably do not deserve the opportunities they have been given. Something has to change when 99% of the reviews are less than two stars. I would post no stars if this review window would allow it.
I must agree with all the other reviews. Absolutely THE WORST POST OFFICE IN THE BRONX. stood on the line for an hour after closing just to pick up a package. I would recommend having anything redelivered multiple times until they catch me at home rather than come back to this place
Very unprofessional the lines are always so long. When im there i have to wait very long because theres only one worker at the window and the line is always out the front door. No one behind the window will jump to their co wokers aid to help move the line faster no team work or sense of urgency in that place. I hate that its the only closest post office around my area. I never leave there with a smile always aggregated.
They are lazy they don’t deliver the packages where they need to go, is always an issue with my packages always, the last thing they did to me was they supposedly put my package in my mail box and I didn’t received anything, I made a complaint and supposedly the person who delivered doesn’t remember!! I miss my package and order for a redelivery, but the redelivery never came and Ive been waiting 4-5 days for it. Come to find out my package has been in the post office by me all along and no one delivered it to me. Worst service ever, I was dead about to stomp them out.

This specific post office need training for their staff. I was expecting a package yesterday to be delivered but to my surprise , when I track it after 9pm, it says:we are unable to deliver due to incorrect address .Then I remembered that the last time a had a package, I was on the shower when the mail man knock at the door. When I rush to open the door. He went ballistic, mad and rude for me not opening at the first knock.When I told him I was on the shower, he said this:I KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT TIME.And guess what,? Customer service is horrible in that place; they called my last name along with anothers person last name and i didnt hear her clearly so as i was wondering if they just called me the girl working there said SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW HER LAST NAME that was so Rude! Made me feel bad and embarrassed.

This is the worst post iffice ever. You wait.all day for a package to be delivered to find out the damn weekend postal worker was to lazy to knock on your door so the lazy loaf took your package back. Our daily mail carrier is a gem. But, if we schedule a weekend delivery. Forget it...

2022-03-10Literally THE WORST USPS I’ve ever been to. Everything every other reviewer has posted here is true—the staff here are lazy, incompetent, and rude. They stand behind the counter talking to each other and looking at their phones rather than helping the dozens of people who are waiting on the line.You can’t guarantee that this post office will be less busy at any given time of day—it seems like no matter the time, at least 6 people are waiting on line to pick up a package.Don’t be mistaken: the postal carriers who actually DELIVER mail and packages in this neighborhood are very kind, considerate, and friendly. Over the past year or so, I have seen definite improvements in the quality of service the carriers provide. They used to not deliver mail for days on end, refuse to bring packages upstairs even in buildings with elevators, etc. HOWEVER, that has all changed for the better in regards to the mail carriers themselves.

2022-04-24I scheduled a redelivered last Sat. 4/16 since I was not home on the day of delivery. Saturday I waited all day on this package that didnt arrive. After a week of calling their location, which by the way they do not answer phones and if they do, they will pick up and hang up. I did call claims dept. they were courteous and apologized for the inconvenience I was having...yet no package. I wasnt able to go to the post office during the week. On Sat. 4/23 I went to see if they had my pkg. and tadaaa!! it was there the whole time. I questioned on why was it still there and not delivered per request...the post worker just shrugged her shoulders and turned away. Hopefully, I will not have to have packages delivered again through USPS in my area.

2022-04-21They never attempt delivery even if someone’s home. And if you request redelivery be sure to not expect your package because they don’t redeliver. They stated they don’t even pay attention to that.They need a whole new staff or more staff.

2022-01-11I agree with the people on the reviews that says this Post Office is A HORROR SHOW 😡! I had a package being delivered last month and I NEVER GOT IT 😡. The postal worker NEVER left a ticket, had the nerve to say that they attempted delivery again (still no notice, so I can pick it up myself!!). And the POST OFFICE SENT IT BACK to where the package came from-ROCKY MOUNTAIN NORTH CAROLINA! I am waiting for another one today and I am on pins and needles waiting for it. Delivery by 9pm. Right!! This office closes at 5:00pm. !! I am going to call the post office in a few minutes and tell them I am going to pick it up tomorrow 😡😡😡

2021-09-21I’ve had 2 orders that haven’t been delivered to my house and my address was perfectly fine. At this point it’s either the laziness or my package too heavy for them. I would’ve even appreciated them leaving it at the lobby.

2021-07-20Seems like no one-- whether theyre at this office, by the phones, or the ones delivering the correspondence on the mail route-- actually want to do their jobs properly. I mean I know that the Bronx/New York has a rep for being gritty and tough, but I really shouldnt be surprised by their lack of work ethic. They really need to do an audit on this place.

I called and was talking to a lady in regards to a shipment I sent and she was so rude after asking her one question and the lady in the background was shouting telling her what to say to me and then they hang up the phone. If they don’t want to work there then don’t and just give someone who will do a better job. And I call back again and they still hang up. They better give me back my money if they don’t want to do there job. If I could give zero stars I would. Disgusting set of people
