Worst ever. A prepaid package sat there for 3 months. Someone woke up after 3 months checked the return packages Package went to Roamans too late. I cant even get an exchange. Lost 100.00 on a coat. No one will help cause the clerk who took package back Sept said they dont scan in prepaid return packages. No trace of it for 3 months.
I want to give them zero stars.Please, if you can go to another post office, do so. The staff here are so unprofessional and rude. It doesnt matter how respectful you are, they will be disrespectful either way. Out of the 10 times I have been here, only 2 times have they been professional. If you need help and need to go here, please try to line up with the white bald guy. He is the only one who is nice and actually tries his best to accommodate and help you out.
Let me start off by saying despite the fact that this the nearest postal service to me, doesnt mean I want to use it. Its very busy and dirty here so you best come early. Id say the staff is very rude and unorganized. The deliveryman said a package that was shipped to our house was now waiting here. So we went but the staff couldnt find it. It turns out that the deliveryman went to ship it a second time (luckily this time I was there to take the package.) When I came here to renew my passport staff was very rude and acted annoyed. they said we needed new things for passport renewal which wasnt said before. It wasnt just us, multiple people were surprised by this. I dont think this place is good at all for mailing, let alone if you can even call it a post office.
Customer service is really slow and poor. They dont seem to work with any sense of urgency. Ive been here now for 30 mins at the pick up window and 2 ladies ahead of me have been here for over an hour and havent been assisted by any of the postal workers as yet. Also I tried to go to a window where I saw a young lady standing to ask if they had any large priority boxes cause they almost never have any out and when she looked up and saw me coming she walked away. Honestly if I could give a zero star rating
Got what I needed done but teller was very rude and wanted me to practically beg her for my package. I was sending out 2 packages and had one at the post office that she didn’t want to retrieve because she said I was supposed to wait on another line. If I am mailing something out I don’t see why I can’t also have the teller retrieve my package. I shouldn’t have to wait on another line. The only reason I kept showing my package slip was because she was having a full blown conversation and wasn’t paying attention to me as a customer. If I had to wait on another line after paying for services then I’m sure she would have not tried to ignore my packing slip and told me from the get go that it was policy to wait on another line instead of trying to get me to beg her to get my package like she’s doing me a favor. She’s not that’s her job.
Expected an important package on 1 /23/17 and took day off from work to make sure I got it. After waiting all day, it never arrived. Later as I tracked the item, and tracking information stated receptacle blocked. as delivery was not made. After checking my outside cameras, I discovered that no delivery was made by driver as he did not appear during my review of video taken for the day. This has happened to me many times over in particularly in this post office.Logged a complaint, but know no one is going to do anything about.To make matters worst I arrived at post office early today and after having been berated by clerk{very condescending as if she was doing me a favor in looking for my package} and as she did not want to do her job, she told me that it was still in the truck and it would be delivered today. After leaving I called post office and to my amazement I was told that I had to wait over an hour to speak to someone. So, I hung up. Its crazy, no one there want to work, something ought to be done. I guess given that most employees are protected by their union and firing is difficult they feel that they dont have to be accountable to anyone. What a disgrace.

I have had 3 incidences with this post office. First they lost a package but denied that so I opened up a claim. It was finally found over a week later. Second they say a different delivery was attempted and said they left a slip in my mailbox. There was no slip in my mailbox. 2 days later the slip showed up in my mailbox. I stopped having packages delivered through usps for this reason. So my roommate was expecting a package over this past weekend. It said it was delivered in our mailbox at 6:34 AM on Monday Feb 17th, Presidents Day. Mind you I have never seen a mailman in our building before 3 PM every other day and his package was not any type of special express shipping that would warrant special delivery. Since when do they deliver regular mail on a federal holiday and at 6:34 AM before they are even open? The supervisor was rude to him on the phone and basically said because her system says delivered, it must have been delivered. Well I and many neighbors can attest to the fact that this is not the case. The lines are long here too but I could deal with that if we didnt have an apparently dishonest and/or incompetent mail carrier and were consistently being lied to. I ask that if you have had similar experience(s) do not brush it off. File a complaint with the Parkchester branch and with the 800 number for USPS to get a formal investigation going into this branch because this is not right.
The worker are unprofessional nasty, and rude. Misplacing packages. They need to close down the post office or replace the employee in the post office. I had to call the police on one of the employees in there. She’s didnt want to give me her name. 6 months ago they lost my package that package was my wedding dress. They are disgust me Especially the supervisor she is so ghetto disrespectful and unprofessional she doesn’t know how to talk to people. She has no respect for herself I don’t know how she got to work there is a supervisor.
This post office is horrible it takes about 1-2 hours to get anything done. Even if you are just trying to mail out a package. The lines are huge, and the employees dont care. They are very rude and most of all its very disorganized. People do not even know what line is for which services. They make everyone stand o .The same line when there are about 3 windows open. For someone who went to buy postage stamp now has to wait in the same line. I truly believe there is no supervision over employees who work there. If you are one of the few people who went there to pick up a package its a nightmare.
I’m convinced they steal people packages! Too many packages over the years said was delivered but wasn’t! They are very rude and slow! You speak politely and they give you attitudes! This is the most place ever to get a package or even trying to send them out!
After requesting redelivery, had to go in 2 days later to get package. The line for delivery pickup was past the entrance doors. There were a few people working the window and they did manage to get the line moving pretty quickly. 20 minutes to get to the window and less than 6 minutes for package once orange tag and ID was shown. All-in-all, disappointment was more for lack of delivery that I rescheduled, rather than the service at the actual post office.
The USPS at that location starting from carriers -> manager -> Upper management are purposes putting attempted delivery when they know the package is not being sent out that is consider fraud. They are willing to lie because they don’t want to hear upper management when it comes to why is it being rescheduled tomorrow or the next day etc so they have decided to put attempted delivery. Everyone needs to file complaints about this location and don’t stop. They do not take their jobs seriously. 0 stars from me!
Trash service. Bought a package from Amazon. They were too lazy too ring the bell, then even lazier to write and leave a notice. I tried to claim my package by showing my tracking number and order number. They replied by saying the package didnt even arrive at the post office. If I can rate it 0, I would. they wasted me $35. Next time you order something, hope that its UPS that is your carrier
ITS A POST OFFICE - go in with low expectations, be kind to the people that work there, dont show up late, expect a line every time so if there isnt one, youll feel good about that. Did I say be kind, ya that really helps. Cheers.
How can I file a complaint against this post office and its management? Serious question! Its the worst and Ive had enough. Would give a zero if possible. Lines are out the door because theres only 2 of 6 windows open during super busy times (only open a 3rd window close to closing time so they can go home and purposely get paid OT). The wait is always up to an hour. Too many people live here for there to be only 2 windows open while the other workers chat in the back. Youd think theyd try to improve with all these 1 star reviews but they dont care since we dont have a choice. Or do we? How can we close this place down for better service? How can the manager actually be proud of this crappy service? We need someone else managing this place!
This post office is terrible. I have waited over an hour multiple times on line to pick up a package. When it is the busiest their is only 1 person at a window when the pick up package line has over 30 people waiting. The managers are rarely available and when i did speak to one she was rude. We are customers not animals. The mail men and women are not friendly and are always leaving mail outside of the mailboxes. The management and staff needs to be retrained and stop being so lazy.
Very bad experience. All the workers seem to hate their jobs and they take it out on the customers. They apparently forget that we pay their salaries and if it weren’t for us customers they wouldn’t have a job. Very rude and inefficient. If you ask a question, as “I’m I in the right line”, they tell you, with an attitude, mam, get on line to ask the question. I see why the USPS is going bankrupt. I don’t wish harm to anyone, but this crew made me wish they all lose their jobs.
Horrible service! This post office needs to be closed promptly and rebuilt and restaffed from scratch. Ive had enough of hour-long waits on line to pick up small packages. Several months ago I started renting a private box from the company next door. I pay $300 for the year, but its worth every penny. This has completely eliminated the anxiety I experienced over not getting packages , or worse, finding out that a package has been lost or returned because I didnt pick it at the convenience of the USPS.
As I wait in line ! I am not the type to write reviews, but this is crazy! I came last Saturday and left cause the line was insanely long! Come back Monday on my day off! And the line is still insane! They have one lady working in the pick up window! And it looks like she has not desire to work any faster! I have been standing in line for 40 minutes! And I still have 10 people ahead of me! The line goes around the whole post office showroom! Im not sure how management work in this place! But they need a solution! Here , I give you a few: the lady working into he fast line to sell stamps waste of time ! She should be helping the lady with the pick ups! Its obvious the pick up line is priority! You can also set other post office more locals to everyone for the pick ups! In the Bronx, its mostly buildings so they dont leave packages at the door whileEveryone is working ! But it is ridiculous to think one person will be able to handle this line! People have things to do better than spending two hours to pick up at box! I will be sending a letter ! I get packages regularly and coming to spend 2-3 hours of my week in a line ! Its not in my plans b
I cant understand how this place works. The workers are rude and very disrespectful. The government has to get their act together. The workers should be fired . I order things that say Sunday delivery and yet I dont receive any packages . I later get an email that says an attempt was made. No it wasnt. The USPS told me that after a certain time if packages are delivered the driver just writes an attempt was made ( A COMPLETE LIE) and they are returned to the post office. Then the customer has a run around to find the package. I never received a pink slip because the driver NEVER CAME. The system MUST BE CHANGED. The whole postal system needs a change,,, starting with the workers.
I have never had any good experiences with these people, and this is really bad, they wont deliver package, and then claim that there was an attempt to deliver packed, or they will claim that there was nobody home, why not leave the we missed you note, so people will believe that you actually came, the only person in that place who really knows her job is Mrs Austin, I am not sure if thats exactly her name, with some other older guy, the rest of the staffs are very nasty, they care less about their jobs and about how the customers feel. The reviews are not good at all. You guys needs to take care of these things
The delivery man/woman won’t climb stairs they return package to carrier facilities without any notice. Shame on postal service. Improve your service to the public. And the delivery members are rude as hell we pay for deliveries we don’t get what we really deserve. The delivery staff members need medical attention. They have anger all the time.
Multiple packages I ordered through Amazon showed as delivered on the tracker but never arrived. Today I was home and had an alert set up for when it arrived. One minute after it showed delivered I opened my door and it wasn’t there. I’m assuming the mailman is either lying or stealing my packages. Either way be very weary of using this post office for any deliveries. They’re crooks.
USPS workers do not deliver packages, they do not leave slips, and they also lie and put attempted delivery when delivery was not attempted. Workers in the office are lazy, and disrespectful. Management is the same. I been dealing with this for 5 years. The same lazy employees are still there! If you want a job that you can do whatever you want apply for that location. They literally get away with everything.
If there was an option for 1/4 star that is what I would give as a rate. This by far has to be the WORST P.O in the entire NYC. The personnel is rude and very discourteous. Perhaps not all but a large % of them have the “ I don’t care” attitude and as a Federal employee this is Unacceptable. The lines are always outrageously long. The postal clerks always have an attitude. There are times these workers stand around while the customers are on line and simply ignore the fact that work needs to be done. The mail carriers do not ring bells but rather either leave a note or leave the pkg by the door. There have been many times that I have designated a person to p/u my package and never had a problem, however just today it appears there is a new policy which is requiring the designated person to provide an ID of the owner of the package. Well thats a first!!!!!! If this is something “NEW” then UPDATE the slips so it can reflect the information as people are not mind readers and no one carries ID of other people. The inconsistencies of the policies w/in the postal service varies by worker. This is not a way to conduct business nor is it an acceptable way for a Federal employee to behave. This is something that really requires measuring as these employees clearly have no respect for their customers. The government needs to make these employees understand this is a service that requires people to behave in a professional manner and while at times customers can be rude, the proper response is not to be rude in return but rather to be courteous. If the new rate machine in the entrance of this post office in Parkchester in the Bx is what will be used to measure quality then hopefully it will serve as a regulator for employees to learn how to handle business in a professional manner.
This is the worst post office Ive ever lived near. They consistently lose packages and delivery is so bad they are open exclusively on Sundays for a brief period of time just so you can pick up the packages they are too lazy to deliver. I signed up for delivery alerts just to see when they were supposedly trying to deliver. Ive actually been outside waiting for them and would get a text saying package undeliverable. Slip left. No slip, no one ever came. Guess someone just decided I should walk to the post office myself at almost 9 months pregnant to drag my packages home.Oh and since they dont leave I missed you slips because they never even attempted to deliver it in the first place, the post office has a pad and paper for you to write down your own tracking number and address. Of course youll need to stand in line at least 20 minutes because everyone in Line has the exact same story. Save yourself the headache and use fedex and USP. Ive never had an issue with either of those companies.
I really dislike this Parkchester Post Office. Workers have an attitude, delivering carriers never deliver your package and worst case claim they tried but in reality they did not (I have cameras) So what happened to my many packages? Lost, stolen? Take your guess. I never have a problem with UPS or FEDEX only USPS. Why is this Post Office still in business, why???? Very frustrating.
Having the EXACT issues that the person previous to me has posted. Luckily I tracked my package online, only to discover they claimed to have attempted delivery, and left a notice for my package to be claimed at their facility. I took the day off from work specifically to be home and sign for my order. These guys are a joke. They did not attempt delivery, and if they dont have my package when I inconveniently go there to pick it up, this will only be part one of my complaint.
Seriously the worse post office ever! If I can give them less than a 1 star I would. They don’t even deserve a 1 star they deserve below a 1 maybe a -10. Seriously they don’t know how to do anything, and lazy incompetent staff including the supervisors as well. Rude supervisor, as I was explaining the service I needed the supervisor she just walk off. That is real disrespectful! Non of these people at this post office have any common sense to work there. They need new and better staff ASAP!
This place is absolutely horrible!!!! Clearly the supervisors are more focused on what bright rainbow color their hair will be than how to actually do their jobs. Rude, slow, lazy, unprofessional and busy on thieir cells and talking trash. Where is the post master when all of this is going on? Why is it only in minority neighborhoods that this happens? I hate having mail and packages mailed because they lie and claim that they made an attempt when they really did not. If I could give no stars and a BIG FAT ZERO I WOULD!!!!! Im sure this review will mean absolutely nothing, but its very important to write a review about horrible service.
I usually dont give any rewiews, I always come to this post office to pick up my items.. Im so surprised today I had a great experience. Something unusual to be honest. Today Wednesday around 1:30pm met a happy employee named Norman, he not only served me with a smile but went above and beyond to help me on a timely manner. They should hire more people like him.
I ordered something it said it was delivered went to the post office package wasn’t there. I asked the mail man he wasn’t the delivery guy it was the driver who would have delivered it. I went to the post office to be basically yelled at that I have to take up up with soSome else supervisor came out and said she’s not going to assume her drivers are not dong their job. Another employee gave me the number to consumer affairs but even after writing to Washington nothing was done about it. So we just have no rights tho it’s a felony to steal a package but what about never receiving our packages and the company doesn’t get them back either so are they stealing our packages
I like the post office and the workers . They always treat me good. I do have an issue with the mailperson saying I am not home and leaving without buzzing my bell to at most give me a chance to go downstairs to get my package. I am a disabled woman and its very very difficult for me to get downstairs let alone walk to the post office unnecessarily due to lazy post people.
I never get my packages ever every week im in the post office picking up packages!!! I called and made a complaint and the manager of the post office calls me and assures me she is going to speak to the drivers. They are still not delivering packages!!! they never leave a slip either!! Im always home i work graveyard shift 12am to 8am. I live on the fourth floor and they are too lazy to walk up the stairs. This post office needs new delivery drivers asap!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DOING RE-DELIVERY!!!!!THEY WONT DELIVER!!!
I immediately regret ordering from a company when I find out they deliver through USPS. This location is horrible!! They have rude obnoxious people who work there and give off attitude when you try and pick up your package. Word of advice dont try and reschedule a delivery because they will never show up. I always get text updates which says attempted delivery but the door bell was never rung. The lines for pick ups are super long and slow. I waited a hour and 20 minutes to pick up a package once which fit in my mailbox. Not to mention my delivery information is constantly altered as well to make it seem like they are working. Oh, and if your address on your ID is different than the delivery address they will also give you a hard time. USPS, PLEASE, PLEASE HIRE BETTER PEOPLE FOR THIS LOCATION.
0 Stars because this post office has continuously opted to leave my package at their facility for me to pick up instead of actually trying to do their job and attempt to deliver the package. I sat home all day waiting for my package just for them to purposefully leave it at their office. The people who work here do not deserve their jobs.
If I could give a -0 rating I would. I can’t even express how many times I have been waiting for a delivery and the carrier lied and said that they attempted to delliver, but no one was home. It has happened countless times. Recently I was expecting a delivery. I constantly look on the USPS app to check on the delivery.it never arrived, and tracking indicated that it arrived at the post office @ 7:47pm and is ready to be picked up. I called the post office in the morning. The agent was extremely apologetic and assured me that it would be delivered the next day. I checked tracking the next day and it showed that the delivery date was unknown. I called again and spoke to a very nasty individual who said it would be delivered the next day. I explained to her that this was something I needed very badly and it was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. She said, lady, I didn’t send it to you, and there’s nothing I can do. I wish there was another post office that I can deal with. This on pe is the absolute worst.
THE WORST SPOT EVER. Horrible customer service, nasty, ratchet, uneducated people at the windows. Mind you there is ONLY 2 PEOPLE there while the line 85% of the time starts OUTSIDE. The 5+ workers crack jokes at the back and lick their Doritos. My experience with deliveries? Living in the 5th floor and going up a few flights of stairs doesnt exist for these truck drivers. I purposely leave a notice downstairs stating to leave the package with the super which is RIGHT NEXT to the entrance door and they completely ignore it every single time. They dont even bother buzzing the door. They fake scan the packages and come back the next day and leave your notice. Literary the worst delivery option you have. Call times for customer experience? Dont expect to wait less than a hour and get a rude representative and get hanged up on. Oh and apparently its not their job to deliver packages to the door if I didnt ask for a signature. So every package that doesnt fit in your mailbox expect to maybe get it picked up 3 days later. Stay far away from USPS.
Closing is at 4pm on Saturdays. Today, they closed their doors on people at 3:40pm. They would only allow those who were checking their boxes to enter. It’s always something with Parkchester’s post office.
Received a notification on my door that an attempt had been made to deliver a parcel that Id been waiting for all day. Ok, so I go to the USPS website to reschedule the delivery; made 6 attempts by filling out the form to reschedule for Monday. Each time a message came up saying my delivery had not been rescheduled. On the seventh attempt a message came up saying my location was not available for redelivery, ONLY PICKUP!!! So now I can no longer get this post office to redeliver a package after one attempt! I have already reported this post office for failing to deliver my packages this past Christmas, even after numerous calls to them with them promising to redeliver, and hanging up on me. But now my only recourse is to pay for transportation to go and pick it up. And I thought I had done well by having a coupon for free delivery. This is truly a post office from hell!July 26, 2018-This is a follow up: After that debacle with trying to reschedule a redelivery a few months ago, I spoke with my mail carrier about how stressed out I was about not being able to expect redelivery. She was as surprised as I was about receiving that response. She said that she had indeed made an attempt at my door but received no answer when she knocked. I believe her. She is a 27 year veteran with the post office and shes been very reliable all the years Ive known her. After conversing briefly, we made a plan so this would never happen again, and its worked out beautifully. She explained why she wasnt able to put the package in my mailbox and suggested a solution which would also work for future deliveries. So, Alls well that ends well, and Im so grateful for my carriers kindness, understanding, and willingness to provide great service. Five stars now ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
If I can Id rate this zero, garbage, trash. Seriously. Very unprofessional, rude with attitude. Worst service ever. Management must be some kind of low life.You work only with one window (package claim) in a 50 people line?!!! And good luck if you get the package after 2 hour wait!!! They lost mine and didnt even try to apologize, and I couldnt even complain to anyone there. Bottom line - GARBAGE people!
Too bad there is no minus zero rating. I have spent several weeks worth of days waiting for deliveries/redeliveries that do not come - I have had three packages sent back while I was awaiting a scheduled redlivery. While sitting in my apt, I get notices that delivery was attempted, but no one rang the buzzer or my doorbell. I get notices stating receptacle blocked for packages that were too large to ever be intended to fit in mailbox. I live in an elevator building. When calling this PO I have been treated rudely, hng up on without being able to state my business, put hold for up to an hour and a half... It is mind boggling.
(0 stars*)....Worst post office. It’s not even about the long wait that frustrates me, but the lack of care of those who service you at this post office. That’s probably why there’s a new “Let us know how we did today!” poll machine at the front. A package of mine which was supposed to be delivered by the walking carrier was handled by the usps truck driver and supposedly delivered to the wrong person. If my complete and accurate address is on the package, is it really rocket science to get the package to the correct individual? The only explanation here is a complete absence of professionalism on the job, absolute laziness, and even negligence. If you don’t like your job because it’s so monotonous then get another one where you’re not obstructing or retarding the passage of U.S mail.
Apparently they have stopped Saturday deliveries. Two times in the past few weeks I stayed home waiting for a package delivery on a Saturday. I have an iron gate and hear when anyone comes on my property, not to mention I am only two feet from my front door with windows open. Not a sole came ro my house, but amazingly one time I didnt answer and the second time they were blocked from my mailbox. Blocked by what? Nothing is out there but concrete. Also the mail lady has twice had a letter that required a signature. The first time I hear her scanning something and when I placed the noise she was a few houses down. I opened my box to find an attempted delivery notice. How did I hear her scanning and not knocking? Worst station I have ever seen.
The worst experience of my life! I came in I was super nice to sarquisha I think her name is really big woman with yellow hair huge woman. The biggest woman of the post office. She was so rude and reckless to me . I was next in line and she told me I’m not taking care of you I’m having a conversation with my coworker and basically told me I’m not taking care of you. We was arguing back and forth and she was telling me to shut up . Moral of the story if you need to get your package here run as fast as you can. They are rude and won’t help you for anything you need.
Website clearly says Passport walk in hours 9am-noon on Saturday and Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. There Nobody on the floor to direct. So I follow the signs and stand on the line for the passport area. A few minutes later a faulty member came around asking do you have a green ticket. I reply no. She goes all passport tickets have all been given out. Where in usps website does it say- limit application are given? It’s like a first come first serve there? I was told instead arriving at 8:45 am to arrive around 7:30 because people line up around that time. Waste of time! Thank god I don’t use USPS like that.
I tracked my shipment and it says delivery will be done tomorrow, I spent literally the whole day home around 4:56 I tracked the package again and it said delivery was attempted @3:05.... nobody rang my bell, no receipt saying that they passed by???? Theyre whole bunches of liar and on top of that now I have to go to the post office and spend 2 hours dealing with them and their attitude 😤😤😤😤😤..
Let me introduce you to the worst post office in the Bronx. I have been going to this one for years and it has never changed. Its terrible. What has changed though is this rule that if your id does not match the address on the packing slip, you cant get your package, unless you have a piece of mail with you that has your name and address on it. I had the amazon order and invoice with tracking number, my name, my address all on my phone that I was displaying on the window. This is the first time I have heard of this rule. Sooo....if you have something shipped to an address other than your own and it ends up in the post office, youre screwed. They refuse to even look for your package. I couldnt believe it. I went all the way back home and prayed that I had a letter or something in my house with name and address on it. I was searching like a crazy person so I can make it back to the post office before it closed. I dont receive mail. I do everything electronically and dont have a printer. Why are people supposed to go through all of this just to get their package? I demanded to speak with the supervisor I was furious on my second try. Asthma, sweating and it was raining outside. The supervisor was the postmaster she explained to me that by law its required for you to have the item shipped to your address. I yelled that thats ridiculous that in the upcoming shopping season what if people ship things to addresses other than their own? She saw i had my envelope with me that I brought from my house and took a look at envelope, id and packing slip and proceeded to get my package to get me out of there. I refuse to ever go through this again. What am I suppose to do now carry my one envelope with me everywhere I go for the rest of the my life to get my packages? I dont get mail!!!!! I got lucky with this one envelope. This was a huge eye opener for me and I will take my experience to the top because they did this to multiple people and its not right at all.
I hope this is not indicative of what is to be expected from all post offices. Package delivery is sometimes a joke. Sometimes if the delivery person does not feel like making the delivery, they claim that no one was there, and that a notice was left. On most of these occasions, multiple persons were at home and no attempt was made and no notice was left. I requested re-delivery for next day on one package and received a confirmation. This is 3 days later and still no package or tracking info. As is evidenced by the long lines at the pickup counter, I am sure that many others are also having the same problem.
This post office at 1449 West Ave, Bronx, NY 10462 need help with the way the carriers and service is being operated. We have carriers lying about delivering the packages to us we are not receiving the merchandise we ordered. I waited all day looking for a package my package did come but I get and email saying it was delivered at 6:45 pm and I went out looking to see where it might have been left. I am on the 12th floor no porch to leave a package its not in my mail box or nor a receipt left for me to pick it up. Now I am totally upset and very angry. Where is my package. I need what I bought, I am not buying things to just give away to anyone the postal carrier want to give a gift to. This person need to be fired on the spot because they lied said the package was delivered to the correct address and keyed it into the system as delivered. If I could give this post office zero I definitely would. Its two weeks before Christmas and you spend two hours in a line just to pick up a package that the post office said they attempted to deliver but didnt and they did not even leave a pink slip. You go to pick up your package and you wait in line forever. Theres only one person behind the counter collecting slips and that person refuses to take more than one slip at a time . So they collect one slip go back, spent 10 minutes looking for that one package come back do the same thing with another . And when you ask why is there more people helping behind the counter they tell you, they are shortstaffed. Its the holiday season they can employ seasonal workers instead of having people waiting for just one package, that states leave at door if no one answers but they didnt even attempt to deliver it and then you have to go and spend how many hours waiting to pick up something small. If theyre not gonna provide adequate service they should not be there.And not to mention the supervisor there this little short lady with short hair, she is very rude and has no respect for the people she supposed to be helping . How can you be in public service if you dont know how to serve the public ? She talks to people like where making her life difficult when she supposed to be helping .
ZERO stars. They consistently fail to deliver packages, even though they are addressed to a business that is on the GROUND FLOOR and is open. How hard is it to open the door, walk in and drop off the package? We dont have a MAIL SLOT - how is it possible that they can claim Mail slot obstructed as the status? Google wont let you post unless you select at least one star, but there is something seriously wrong with the service out of this location.

The worst service ever! Long lines down the block. The mailman don’t go upstairs to deliver your mail even if it’s express. The clerks are slow and unprofessional. Lack of care for the customer. I want to put no stars ✨ however it would not let me post this without a lease one star.
This station is extremely lazy with delivery. Either you get it days later or you wont get it. Carriers who wont bring the package to the apartment, wont walk up the stairs. I was even told I dont know where your package is as Im holding my tracking slip. Because its the hood doesnt mean people deserve hood service.
Extremely horrible service. I ordered something from Amazon and was expecting the package yesterday. No delivery attempt was made and I received an email stating that they attempted to deliver while I was at home all day. This is not the first time happening. If I call they are very rude and unprofessional. The whole department is useless and does not do their job. Whoever delivers packages need to be fired for fraud and unfulfilling the job responsibilities. USPS sucks!
I give them 1 star and thats being very kind because the mail person never rings my door bell when I have a package too big to fit in my mailbox and rarely leaves a notice to go pick up at post office. When I go to the post office the customer service there is terrible , the staff is rude and disrespectful to customers and very disorganized. Always very hot inside and long long LONG lines to wait on.
Something needs to be done about the delivery people that work out of this location. I ordered packages from Amazon twice in the last month and the USPS has reported these packages as delivered......I NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGES! I got a message that my package was delivered this morning! NOTHING WAS DELIVERED! IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB. QUIT, BUT DONT MESS WITH PEOPLES MAIL, IT IS STILL A FEDERAL OFFENSE!The mail carrier assigned to Holland Avenue is always on the phone and never puts the mail in the correct mail boxes! Its horrible. USPS needs to screen employees better and they need to re train them as well!
Terrible customer service from those who work the windows, especially package pick up. Nasty attitudes on top of it. Last time I checked, forgery was illegal. This office has forged information numerous times involving my packages, and then has the nerve to turn around and call me a liar, saying I requested something when I never did. Postal workers who report to this office cant be bothered to actually ring your doorbell and wait for you to answer and instead leave a package slip without even making an attempt. (and they even lie on the delivery slip, saying they knocked/rang door bell and waited and no one answered. They need an integrity lesson, big time. If I could take my business elsewhere, I would.
The people that work here are very bitter and need to work somewhere else if it bothers them so much to help customers. I’ve had several incidents where the driver wouldn’t deliver my package, but I would be waiting all day just so my neighbors wouldn’t take the package. The tellers in here are half useless and have bad attitudes.
Rude employees. Rude supervisors. The worst post office I’ve ever been in. Separate lines for each window as opposed to one line with clerks calling for next customer. I watched a package clerk walk away from the window as I entered the post office. I was first on line, and 25 minutes later no clerk had come to the window. At about 15 minutes into my wait, I approached a female employee in the lobby. Rude doesn’t begin to describe her attitude. Her answer was that the window clerk was “in the back “. The saddest part is that I doubt that any of this will ever change.
Spent a whole day at homenwaiting for my package, when the time came to go to work... I see a delivery notice left In my mailbox 😒😒. No one rang my bell, they didnt even try. Of course I had no choice but to go the this horrible place. Line is ridiculously long all the time, I waited 40 mins in line. Nobody seems to care, staff is super rude and irresponsible, at the end, they couldnt find my package! Attempted to speak with the manager for whom I waited for another 25 mins, to later learn he was not even there! My last resource was call the customer service central line, after another 30 mins on hold, the lady found that my package was inside the truck and it seems as it never left the truck, meaning..they didnt even try to deliver it to me, but of course they still left a notice in my door.
This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I just moved into the area and they said they attempted to deliver my package on a Sunday which is a lie because I was home all day. I came Monday to pick it up the line was out the door. I am here right now and its the same situation. They didnt even leave a slip at my door. This is why they are losing money. I wish I could give them zero stars.
I never thought anything could make the DMV look good. I was wrong! These employees personify every widely held stereotype about people of color...AND I AM A PERSON OF COLOR! I generally fight against stereotypes but these “workers” (for lack of a better word) had all the qualities that you expect a particular type of person working at a post office in the outer boroughs to have. Rude, dismissive, disrespectful & absolute dullards! Let’s put aside that she kept throwing a package I had already explained was fragile, but I was attempting to send this package to the province of Seoul in the Republic of Korea & the woman actually said” I can’t find Korea, where is that, in China? 🤦🏽♂️ I was done after that! I asked for my package back & decided to pay the ridiculously over priced $100 next door to have DHL deliver it. Simultaneously in the window next to me this hideous & morbidly obese woman was being extremely disrespectful to a woman from Bangladesh who clearly didn’t know that this mutant was being rude to her because of a language barrier. I would rather circle for hours looking for parking in Manhattan than deal with the profound intellectual disabilities of these idiots! Unless you’re the kind of person who derives pleasure from inflicting pain & humiliation on yourself stay far far far far away from this oppressive or unbearable place! May God have mercy on their souls 🤦🏽♂️
Terrible service. The sign said it opened at 6AM and although the doors were open, they did not provide service until 9AM. The employees have serious attitude problems, for they are always angry. My packages have gotten misplaced multiple times. Ive also gotten other peoples mail in my box. My packages due for delivery are labeled tried to deliver even though no one came. Ive now been on hold for an hour because of a misplaced package once again. Unbelievable.
Why are these people employed? They dont do anything at all!. They wont deliver your packages since they expect you to pick them up yourself; and when you actually go to their location they let these lines pile up with angry customers and they just stand there and watch not doing anything at all! Dont even try calling them since their phone is always busy or theyll keep you on hold until you get tired of waiting over the phone. When you actually manage to talk to somebody they are excessively rude to you. These people are just horrible and I really wish that I could get my mail from another location or at least pick up my mail somewhere else!
I never receive my packages ever! Every package I have gotten sent to me (several over the last few months) they have not given to me even though there has ALWAYS been someone home to receive it. The come in and leave an attempted delivery note. I guess they dont feel like coming up a walk up. Then to pick up your package? expect to be there at least an hour. Yesterday it took 2hrs to get my mail. This place is the WORST!
Today will be the Third time in a month since my package has not been delievered. I had two packages coming today. They were both scanned out at the same time and I have only received one. I have literally had to spend money and buy an extra pack of diapers to compensate for the carrier not delivering my package. This recently started when a new carrier is working on our building route. For an entire year I have been recovering packages at 1:00 to 2:00pm , all of. A sudden now my packages don’t come and it says attempt to deliver and there is also no slip to be found. I then have to travel with my newborn and stand in line for 30 mins and carry a huge pack of diapers back to the house while struggling because a huge box doesn’t fit under my stroller. This is the reason why I have them deliever. I need to know if there is asomeone I can report this to as I am not the only one in this building with this same issue. This is extremely inconsiderate and I really can’t make sense of it.
The worst post office ever. They never actually attempt to deliver your packages. They simply leave a pick up slip in your mailbox, then when you come to the post office to pick up your package, you wait an hour or more on line for one rude employee to retrieve your package. You can ask for a manager to complain to, but no one seems to care. Ive lived in Parkchester for over 10 years and it gets worse by the year. 👎🏽
Never receive a package from them... Even though I am home all day waiting... They just put the slip in the mail box.. horrible service.. now at the Parkchester post office and one of the female workers comes out and yells at all of us to not ask her any questions?? Says to just read the forms. Cant believe how bad the employees are here...
Won’t redeliver even after contact by Amazon. Will definitely be cursing they fat lazy behind out Monday. Done put redelivery four time since December 16,2016 and didn’t come at all. They even lie about attempting to delivery. Camera never showed them coming to the apartment building. That alone can get the post office in trouble.
I really wish I could give this post office a zero rating. This post office is the worst I have ever seen in my life. I hate when I have to receive packages through USPS. The mail carriers never deliver your mail because they are too lazy to actually come upstairs and knock on your door. They would rather leave a sorry we missed you slip in your mailbox. This has happened to me and my neighbors several times. When you are forced to pick up your package because of this laziness, You then have to wait on line for nearly an hour to pick up your package that might not be available until the next day so you basically wasted your time waiting on line because the item you are there to pick up is not even there. The staff and managers are extremely rude, dismissive, condescending and unprofessional. There is no point in complaining to USPS management because nothing is done, your complaints are ignored. They will yell at you, or even walk away from you if they dont want to hear what you have to say. They are ben rude to elderly customers that come into the post office. Theres an african american female manager that has a nasty attitude and just stands there while everyone complains and does nothing. Theres a Caucasian male with balding hair and glasses that is rude to the customers and is very condescending. Its a surprise these incompetent staff members still have a job. This location really makes me hate USPS. I would rather deal with UPS or FEDEX but sometimes I dont get a choice when ordering packages. This place gets a negative 100 in my personal rating. Their work ethic and customer service is deplorable and disgusting. They need to shut this place down. Once again today I am stuck waiting tip tomorrow to pick up a package that could have been delivered today while I was home all day!. All because the postal workers are too lazy to take the elevator upstairs to my apartment. There is only one nice postal worker. She is a cheerful short Latina woman (in her 40s to 50s in age) with glasses that actually takes the time to help you if she can. Im sure everyone knows her because she is very loud and sings (no complaints in regards to her).
I mailed my mother a package from Florida and it had a tracking number. It showed delivered on their website and when my mom went home there was no package. I am on the phone with them now and they are telling me it was delivered. I am arguing with them to explain that my mother has checked every where for this package and it was not delivered. She had another problem two months ago with a wedding invitation coming from Long Island. It took two months for her to get the invitation and it was open when she got it. Their mail service is horrible and they need to be shut down. Someone needs to do something about this location.
Mail carrier doesnt leave Amazon package or a note. I find out with Amazon and reschedule delivery (a waste of time). USPS lost the package. Call Amazon to replace and redeliver. Parckchester post office held my package and have to pick up at their location. Walked in with the longest lines and reminded me of the days of DMV. Only two windows open! What a joke!?! Cant wait for Amazon to deliver on their own and not depend on the USPS.
Hello, I usually dont like to post bad reviews or jeopardize anyones job and its not even about this postal office perse but the situation with bigger packages being delivered to our building(1975 Birchall ave.Bronx NY) its getting ridiculous. I know the elevator in this building gets broken very often but other carriers still come to the building and leave packages with the Super of the building or make other arrangements so people here get their packages. The problem its that whoever drives the truck to bring packages is not even trying to walk to our building and mark packages as undeliverable or unable to access property but no note its ever found when they claim they left a note. There are 2 buildings in this property 678 sagamore St.(the first building) and 1975 Birchall ave. (The last building) and the postal office serving this area its 1449 West Ave, Bronx, NY 10462.Hopefully something gets done so we can all get our packages.Thank You,LizPS: we dont have problems with the lady that brings the smaller packages and letters. She is professional and very sweet.
Today, go down to get my mail and discover the mail carrier is inserting the mail in the many mailboxes while BLASTING HER MUSIC. Also, left security front door wide open. Just months ago, a teen was assaulted in this same building. Called Parkchester Post Office to complain. Nobody bothered to answer.A couple of months ago, a different mail carrier left all the metal doors to the mail boxes wide open WHILE SHE WAS IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING ON A CELL PHONE CALL. She left all mail available to any theif. That is how identities are stolen - by stealing mail.Lastly, was on line one day for around 20 minutes to pick up a package. When it came for my turn, the postal worker left the window AND NEVER CAME BACK! I kept alerting the employees there that there was a very long line with no one at the window. An Asian worker there just laughed and said Oh, shes coming back. In fact, she NEVER DID. Eventually, after a long wait (15+ minutes) different worker in fact took over the window.An absolute joke, and it is any wonder why the P.O. is slowly going out of business?
What a waste of my time, effort and money to go to this particular post office. Seriously, the people who work at this location CLEARLY hate their jobs. I’ve had to go pick up my delivery TWICE now and each time I get an angry worker behind the window who is rude, gives me a practiced answer, and shouts “NEXT”. Please hire some staff that is competent and understands what customer service means.
Today December 18th 2017 Ive tried to call the Parkchester post office just to see if my packages are at the at the post office and not on a truck. So afterwork I can hobble in with my broken foot in a cast to go pick up the packages that they say they tried to deliver and never have. After getting through twice on the phone twice and asking the person for their name I was put on hold and never return to. Ive recorded every call and I have documented proof of every time they said theyve come and havent I need to know who I can go to to put in a formal complaint because this is not how you treat your customers
It seems the weekend staff is rude and terrible. Im not sure how they organize packages but it takes at least 15 minutes to receive it. The long lines are entirely due to their inability to work efficiently. No matter how pleasant your inquiries are, expect a rude response. Im just going to have my packages delivered to my job and avoid this place as much as possible.
Absolute dump. They would mark package as delivered and never do. They would not leave a note if an attempt has been made. If I dont track my orders, I wont even know if they tried to deliver.When you go to pick up the package, the line literally goes to the back of the wall and then curve and then go back to the other wall. Their attitude is the worst of all. It is as if they are doing you a favor by trying to do their job. I bet these employees got fired from every other place and found refuse in this place. Just because they are Union here, its hard for them to get fired. No matter how bad they are at work. So the dont care. One of the worst post office in the bronx NY, all the curriers are mother F***rs sucks they dont wanna come to your apartment to delivered the package/box. they dont care, they just trying make thier job done fast leave the notice at the mail box, even though if you make redelivery they do same thing, because this is part of government job they know they wont get fired!!! i think we all should complain to the city or call 311 file a report about this,
Packages are NEVER delivered. They say they “attempted” while I sat at home waiting for it. The delivery people just dont like working. It’s ridiculous. Packages, checks sent to me lost all the time. And then they wonder why they’re going out of business.
This post office never attempts to deliver a package to the residence. The mailman will deliver a notice saying that a delivery of a packet was attempted and theyre sorry we (they) missed you (me). When I was home the entire time.Which then requires a visit to the post office, which lack organization, is understaffed and overcrowded.
Just recently moved to the area and had to pick up packages in the morning and it wasnt busy so I cant accurately gauge how busy it may get at this location; however, the packages that I picked up was never delivered despite someone being home and access to a working intercom. They didnt leave a pink slip until the day after they was supposed to deliver. Whoever is on my route must have goofed.
Terrible place. The employees are terrible the supervisor is terrible. They honestly don’t want to help anyone. Like why show up to work if your not going to help the customers. This place is full of lazy, sad, disrespectful people. It’s a shame that you have to be frustrated with the postal service. I wouldn’t recommend this place, go to another postal place. The people working here are literally rude as hell with the exception of the Asian lady. I was next in line to pick up an order and heard the lady tell the guy in front of me let me see your ID so I can know who the heck you are like what?? They be so mad like you did something to them. No smile nothing . They always have attitude they even made my mom cry once. Yall need to do better !!! Dont work in customer service if you cant be nice .
ZERO STARS!!! They NEVER deliver my packages. And claim no one is home. I work nights and Im home during the day everyday. I have a dog that barks with the slightest sound so it makes it very clear how full of it and lazy these ppl are! And when going to pick up packages they never seem to have enough ppl to tend to a line all the way out the door. And dont seem to care or even try to move with a sense of urgency.They dont care about thier services or job!
Garbage, filth, sewer are just few words to describe the level of service. Employees are rude, Managers are rude. This post office branch constantly lies about making deliveries to meet supplier quotas, never leaves any slips and has long lines for customer pick-up. I wish this place closes down or just vanishes from the face of the earth. The worst service in the entire history of USPS is right here in the Bronx people.
This is the worse place to have a package delivered to, unfortunately, I cant always choose to have my Items delivered via another carrier. I stayed at home waiting for a few packages from amazon prime today, all day. I received packages from other carriers today. I went to check the mail to see if there was anything in there, nothing, not even a letter. Not once when the doorbell rang was it USPS. Then someone from my house comes home and checks the mail and there is a missed package slip in the mail box! Although this is an improvement because as of lately I havent even been getting the missed package slip. I wasted the whole day waiting for nothing. The drivers need to be reevaluated and fired. They need new people who will actually do their job.
Has to be the worst post office in the Bronx.They made a mistake with my address and I had to schedule a redelivery which never came. In person the place is a madhouse. Lines are incredibly long because packages are clearly not being delivered!!! Whoever is running this place needs to be fired ASAP. Please hire a qualified person who can clean this place up. This post office is the worst! The mail carrier who delivers to my neighborhood just puts everyones mail one box so we have to sort through it. I called 3x about receiving the former tenents mail in my box and they still put it in there. They have mishandled several of the packages they were suppose to deliver to me. One package I received a delivered notification from amazon, but couldnt find the package. After calling USPS customer service the package was really delivered 2 days later. Another package was delivered again with the message left with individual at address when you checked the tracking on the website. Asked my neighbors if they had the package and no one had it. Called USPS to find out what happened and they put in a ticket and gave me the local P.O. number to find out who the package was left with. I called and spoke to someone and was told to call at 8:30am to speak with the driver. I called the next business day at 8:30 and was told I couldnt speak to anyone until 9 am. Called back at 9 am and was told the driver already left for deliveries. Long story short, my package is still missing and with christmas coming up I dont trust USPS with any packages.April 2015Still the same B.S. with this post office. They never attempt to deliver packages just write the slip and leave it somewhere where you cant find it for a few days. Everytime i call it just rings endlessly or goes straight to voicemail, i try to set-up a redelivery date and they dont redeliver. I wish i could switch to the post office close to where i live because this place is just a headache to deal with.
Sitting waiting for package nice day outside waiting in the front of my building seen the usps truck driver I ask the driver kindly do he have a package for my address he says NO! The driver drove off less than 10 minutes after I received the update on my text alert for my package it says try too deliver no one is not home attempt delivery check your mailbox for further notice. Ive check the mailbox Nothing there no slip nor receipt this is insane! Very Poor service absolutely 👎 unacceptable
I ordered a package. A simple package of mini animals for my sons project. I put this order in via Amazon on the 8th. Amazon shipped it. The only thing the post office had to do was deliver it to me. Instead after the 10th there was no tracking information available, as if my order vanished. So...I speak to Amazon, they graciously work with me to reorder the same package with one day shipping to guarantee I received my sons order on time to do his project. Yesterday was the 16th. It was a beautiful sunny day out for the most part, or at least from what I hear...I would have taken my son to the park but we were waiting for his animals. We stayed home ALL day. But at exactly 3:24p I receive an email stating there was a delivery attempt. What attempt? On what planet was there an attempt??? I didnt even get the courtesy of an info notice! When I call today Im told to speak to the delivery supervisor in the morning. Its funny, I speak to various supervisors at various times and nothing is ever resolved. Now I have to hustle and find a way to finish my sons project. Thanks a lot for nothing. This post office used to be decent but apparently something has gone left, way left. Word of advice, if you need something and you rely on this post office to deliver it consider yourself screwed.
These people keep losing mail and they wont attempt to deliver packages in a timely fashion, if at all. They attempted to deliver a package today and my wife didnt even hear any kind of doorbell ring (I just got the email about this literally two minutes ago).

I was calling them twice and spoke to “HER” nicely and she gave me an attitude and never let me talk what I want and just hang up the phone.. Twice! And when I try to call again, I can’t reach it no more. Usps workers in white plains are not like them. They are the one who gave me the number in Parkchester to check if my packagr is there since it’s missing now. Courier doesn’t know how to contact the person if they’re unsure. That’s a very important stuff right there!!!!!!!
I received am email saying my package was en route fpr delivery and that it would be delivered yesterday in the morning. I received an email after 4pm notifying me that a delivery attempt was made, but unsuccessful. How is that so? No one rang the bell or knocked on the door. No attempt was made. No notice was left in my mailbox or on my door. The lazy ass postal worker lied and said they made an attempt to deliver, but never did. This has happened numerous times with this post office. They likely took the afternoon off and acted as if they worked. You can slack and be lazy all you want, your only getting over on yourself. I might have to wait to get my package, but your gonna be a loser for the rest of your life. You cant teach lazy thats IN you. More specifically, management needs to under review at this location in Parkchester. If you guys dont wanna and are fed up, look into a different line of work.
Lucky it cant get a 0. One day the front of the mailbox its a safe place to leave package the very next day there they claim no secure location available. Horrible. God forbid they do there job.

These are not the faces and personas that the USPS would be proud to have representing it. They are rude, demeaning and have absolutely no concept of customer or client service (nor do they care to).
If this place could be given 0 stars.Its 2019 and they still havent gotten their acts together. Postal workers too lazy to deliver packages, dont bother asking you to come down into the lobby for your package, tag it as business closed and then it takes a week of you going to the post office, calling, requesting redelivery, requesting pick up by customer (which they send your package out anyway, so waste of time), and being told YOU need to call early or you wont get your package.Only when you get corporate involved something MAY be done/they ACTUALLY attempt to deliver your packages.
Nasty customer service agents. They don’t care about customers needs. They are there to spend 8 hours and collecting a paycheck. Go elsewhere.
Long lines. They lie and return packages prior to stated dates on we missed you slips. Words cannot express how much I hate this place !! They rarely attempt to deliver packages, they just give you a slip to come and get it. Dont waste your time trying to reschedule a delivery, it wont happen. Extended hours are appreciated as they are open until 7pm most days. (Side note: who in their right mind closes post offices at 4pm when everyone is still working. Union politics... ugh). If you have to go there, bring a friend or a smart phone, you are going to be there for a while. Also be prepared to do yoga afterwards, because you will pick up everyones stress while you are there !
I admit that the lines are really long but I had pretty good experience with the workers arentAlways that helpful. I had to go to the post office twice for one package. They said that the first time they couldnt find the package. But overall its not that bad.
It never fails ... I was tracking 2 packages to arrive and only get one because the other packages were undeliverable and it that package was a box of diapers... and ofcourse picking up the package at the Post Office is faster than a dead turtle
Rude as all out door! a package that I sent out to a friend got lost in the mail somehow in New York. I guess they were calling me to follow up on my claim the woman was so rude and hung up the phone and asked me what did I want after she called me this is an unprofessional post office I’m so glad I don’t live here I would totally go off on one of them
Horrible service ! They lie about leaving labels and they never do. Portman delivery service for packages never delivers and lies about no one being home. No way to communicate with a manager or supervisor and when you physically go there, they ignore you and give you the run around. Would not at all miss this location if they close !!! Rather deal with fed ex or ups much better service.
Probably the worst post office. Genuinely terrible. The carriers often refuse to deliver packages and the people who work in the office are mean, unhelpful and frequently plain wrong. If you can avoid dealing with them, try. Unfortunately places like Amazon only deliver through them. 😡
Everyone from this PO needs to be FIRED. HIRE people who actually like to WORK!!!!! The entire staff have very bad attitudes, very unprofessional, extremely LAZY to answer any questions, lines are always ridiculously long, never enough staff and ALWAYS dirty! The mail carrier NEED TO ACTUALLY KNOCK ON DOORS when delivering packages! Stop torturing people to have to go this digusting post office! And where the hell is my PINK INSTRUCTION NOTICE YOU SUPPOSEDLY LEFT?! SMFH. GET IT TOGETHER!
The Service at this location is absolutely lousy. Signed for letter to be redelivered because the post person couldnt follow instructions. Now its Monday 5/18/15 at 2:05 and holding for 15 minutes on the phone line. Its official they need to close the post office immediately. Internet service is much better.....
This has to be one of the worst post offices in the Bronx the people are rude and slow.The pick up line is always long and slow. A when you finally get up front the people are nasty I wish my packages would always ship with UPS so I dont have to deal with this place. If you have a package to pick up at Parckchester post office expect to wait at least an hour to get your stuff.
The lady doing the passports is the most ghetto person I have ever seen. She thinks she’s a gangster working at the post office. I don’t know why they would keep her, she is easily replaceable.
As waiting outside for package the whole day never showed up and then the tracking says undeliverable as addressed but yet I get another package 2 days later with same exact address. Package was supposed to be send back. 2 whole weeks later no-one knows where package is and no updated tracking info they are horrible and this is a regular thing. 1 STAR IS TO MUCH.

2022-05-06Long lines due to fake deliveries, supervisor doesnt appear to care. One instance where I was home with the flu and buzzed delivery guy in and he goes straight to mailbox to put slip in box. Luckily I noticed he didnt use elevator and was able to chase him down. I confronted him and he gave me the package with an attitude saying you got your package, didnt you? Walked to the office with the slip to report it to manager bc they fake deliveries ALL THE TIME and this time I had proof. That was the only time she appeared to care bc I had to sit on the ground from being too weak and everyone could hear why I had to run out of my house. Now I tell people to post the package on Amazon so I can buy it and have it delivered through Amazon. Thats how bad it is. My daily postman though is great.

2022-07-11So I had appointment for passport at 9 am. But when I came here I was told their passport employees won’t come till 11-12. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Just cause they got a federal job, this people are abusing this and needs to be fired.

2022-05-20Just file a complaint for fake deliveries at this post office. They will mark it as delivered but not be in the mailbox OR they will say they attempted but never did. They dont care.

2022-02-05In a day and age where most people are at home working remotely, this incompetent post office decides to avoid doing their job and just fake deliveries in order to avoid working. Last 3 out of 4 packages had to get picked up, because apparently no one was home when theres 2 people working remotely in my household.

2021-12-04I actually love this post office, they have a drop box so you dont have to wait to drop off packages if theyre medium-small, and they have a self-service machine that provides stamps. Im usually in and out. The one time I did have to wait, I got help with my packages being returned to shipper

2021-07-22My Mom & myself were attended to by the most pleasant young lady I have ever meet. Her name was Christa, very helpful & respectful. She helped My Mom out with her passport application & paperwork. She explained to My Mom the process & time it will take to get her passport. It was a pleasant experience for My Mom & myself, staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend that the young lady gets a raise in salary, especially the Asian American worker as well for putting up with nasty & unruly customers!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2021-12-21Rude, all attitude and no professionalism. More than half of them act like we’re bothering them if we have questions and they are definitely rude to people that doesn’t understand English very well. Although the new workers there haven’t turned yet . Time will tell. Stay tuned!

2021-06-01I wanted to find out how much it would be to deliver my package and the teller didnt want to help me because the package wouldnt fit through the window. So she says, I gotta get it and if you dont like the price then I gotta give it back to you, why dont you just go to the self kiosk and try there If your job is to help people then HELP PEOPLE! Terrible customer service!!! Avoid it at all costs

2018-12-17Window doesn’t open until 9am weekdays. I’ve had some nice people help me at the windows before. The 4 stars is for the self service machine. Most wonderful thing I ever saw.

2018-05-23Every time I order something with large packaging it never gets delivered. They claim to come and attempt, but they dont even leave a notice sometimes. Today Ive been home waiting for a package and I got an email that delivery was attempted. No one knocked, or rang my bell, they just left a notice. They will also never redeliver your package, they expect you to go pick it up from their awful post office where youll probably wait on line for an hour because everyone else is trying to get their packages that werent delivered.
