Staffs are super nice, helpful and skilled! My daughter love there from the very first day. Learning not only the strength and skills but also how to respect and care for others. Highly recommended!
Wonderful school with kind, caring, passionate Master, Instructors, and Staff! My children have been coming here 7 years now! They basically grew up here and have learned not just Tae Kwon Do, but a lot of the social aspects of life that they will need as adults. Being confident (not cocky); being self-aware, and as well as learning how to work together as a team. United Tae Kwon Do in Bensonhurst (86th st) is the best!!!
My sons have been coming here for a long time and truly enjoy learning Tae Kwon Do. Master Seo is an excellent teacher supported by a dedicated Staff. Everyone is so nice. It’s like family here. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn Tae Kwon Do!
I have been coming here since I was 6 and I am amazed at how much they have improved. The staff here is really helpful and really outgoing. Without all the help from the staff, I might not be where I am today. Taekwondo has improved both my physical condition and my mental condition. I have many fond memories for taekwondo and it has taught me a lot. This is a very worthwhile experience and it should be la long-term thing.
A center of excellence! I must say United TKD in Bensonhurst is by far the greatest martial art school I’ve seen. Master Seo and his team of instructors and staff are caring, patient, motivating, energetic, genuine, fun, and respectful. My 2 kids have been going to this school for about 2 1/2 years now and they still love every minute of it. Not only they learn martial arts, but also they learn a great deal of discipline and respect which I believe is very important in today’s society. This is certainly the place where you want your kids to grow from.
I have been taking my daughters for tae kwon do for the past 18 months. My daughters love it here as they are progressing nicely. Master Seo is terrific along with the entire staff. The environment is strict, yet nurturing. In addition to learning the tae kwon do techniques, you are mentally stimulated to learn the philosophy behind it. It teaches you to be disciplined and to respectful of yourself and others.
Our son Gregory started his taekwondo at Bensonhurst United TKD Center from PeeWee class when he was 3 yo. At that age (3yo) we had been turned away from a couple other TKD studios, saying our son wasnt ready to enroll because he was too young and didnt have the discipline. We didnt give up and finally we were lucky to find Master Seo at Bensonhurst United TKD Center, and following our first class we knew this was the right place, Master Seo was not afraid of difficulties and took our son to his class, because he is brilliant with kids and understands how to maintain their attention. We always remember this and are very grateful to Master Seo for that! His staff are amazing as well, skilled, patient, funny and understanding. They all do a great job of making everyone feel more like family.Now our son is 8 yo and going to have his 2 Dan black belt in March. We are very proud of him. If youre thinking of trying taekwondo, this is the RIGHT place to do it!

This is the only Taekwondo place you can truly be trained of martial art. Unlike other martial art center where you feel like your kids are getting babysitting service because their only objective is the business, Master Seo in United TKD gives tough training and takes care of each student sincerely. Not only the physical training but you would realize your kids get strong minded, respectful and confident. You can observe all of these by visiting the Center just one day if you see the way how staffs and students behave in there.
Great place. The staff is very nice and great with kids. The place is also very nice and spacious. Great for learning self defense and simply just for exercise. They also offer a great variety of classes for all children ages. Also a variety of different times for these classes. Definitely great place.
I love this place. I have been taking tkd for a couple of years now and the master, instructors, and staff super nice and helpful. They are like a family to me. Master Seo has taught me how to be respectful, kind and never give up and always keep trying. Besides learning tkd, sometimes you can also learn self defense and gymnastics (which is my favorite). I definitely recommend this Tae Kwon do center.
I have been going to Taekwondo pretty much all my life, and enjoyed every minute of it. From kicking, to form, to breaking, to sparring, and nice master, instructors, and staff, there’s so much to learn. The center features targets for kicking, barrels for kicking, a soft, cushion-like floor, an air mattress, a trampoline, several mats, a split machine, a large sized mirror for kicking corrections, a wide space for sitting and spectating a class, an office if you’d like to speak to Master Seo, and more. All of the equipment are in good quality and the amount of dedication the staff put into Taekwondo is phenomenal. There is a schedule that features so many different types of classes to choice from, for example, a sparring class. If you are genuinely and truly dedicated to Taekwondo, you might want to consider competing. Or perhaps you might want to perform in the demo team. There’s so much to offer and if your child wants to take Taekwondo, this is the place to go! 🐻
I am MORE than happy with Taekwondo Center in Bensonhurst - they teach kids in their best abilities. They care, they respect, and they teach kids to care and to respect and kids LEARN !!! Bensonhurst United Taekwondo Center is one of the best centers for kids to learn taekwondo and discipline at the same time. I have been coming to taekwondo for over 8 years and I really learned great taekwondo skills and how to show proper respect to my parents. I would definetly recommend United taekwondo do center to anyone looking to start taking taekwondo classes.
I’ve been coming to United taekwondo for many years now and I love it. We do many challenging things here. Master Seo, instructors and staff encourage you to do many things you never knew you could do. They are extremely caring and funny at the same time. This dojang is always clean and a great environment to learn the discipline and to build character. If you havent heard of this place then you’ve been living under a rock. So I recommend you to come over to United Tae Kwon Do in Bensonhurst and start exercising.
This center has the best staff, instructors and an amazing master! I am so glad faith has brought me to this place. I could not be happier with how they treat and respect me. 2018-02-04Our kids have attended Taekwondo classes at this center for almost a year. They still enjoy and look forward to their classes. Master Seo and his team is amazing - friendly, attentive, enthusiastic and professional. All the instructors are extremely attuned to the needs of children. Lessons are disciplinary but fun. If youre looking for a martial art place for your child(ren), this is it!

2018-02-09My daughter attended this school from 7 yrs to 9 yrs and advanced so rapidly in such a short time that she was competing against black belts when she was a purple belt and winning. Great instructors and excellent master. Great begining for any martial artist.
