Driver attempted tp deliver, doorbell inoperable. Package sent to location far from my residence. Called UPS - phone system is awful, called Bose, Bose called UPS, UPS called me. UPS in Buffalo assured me package would be delivered Monday w/special instructions to assist w/ inoperable doorbell. I cancelled my plans, spent the entire day waiting only to find out the package was being held across town and I would have to pick it up in person.Tried calling 800 # for customer service and it is almost impossible to speak to a human being. Terrible solution, terrible customer service.
If youre not a box holder, steer clear. The young lady really needs to take a Customer Service course or two. Rude, combative attitude. Doesnt listen. Doesnt ask. Assumes and tells.The Store Manager smoothed things over but not good enough to keep my business.Lesson#1: Word of mouth can be the best or the worst advertisement for your business.Lesson#2: Outstanding Customer Service is vital to a successful business.
The whole UPS system stinks. They sent me from location to location, automated response to automated response. Finally when I figured out my package was at this location I went there per the hours given on the automated response. Impossible to get a human on the line. When I got there, they now have new hours due to the virus.... Only open until noon. so I couldnt get my package. UPS has one job, getting a package into the hands of the person its for,and they fail at it. Its pretty simple, if you dont give people an option to get information, you need to make sure the information you give out on your automated reply is correct.
Every time I have a package from UPS delivered to my house, there is no attempt to knock on the door, there is no attempt to ring my doorbell. They have my phone number and never call me. They will not leave the package, even though Ive said it plenty of times its okay to leave the package. So I am giving them one star because I cant give them zero. Now I have to go out of my way 6.9 mi to go pick up my own package (after already paying for shipping) or pay them to redeliver it to my house. What kind of nonsense is that. Every single time I am never using UPS again ever.
Downgrading to a one star because of how extremely rude HR is. They yell at you cuss you out and treat you like garbage when you work inside the warehouse even if youre new. They hired me as a seasonal and then cut me loose after Christmas with no warning prior. The work union that is supposed to protect us instead enforces the politics of the so called leadership here.This place is all a messed up game and the ones who make the rules do their job badly and make it where others cannot take their job.People here are difficult to deal with. Its like theyre angry just because they are working hard. Well if you dislike your job get another one and stop taking it out on others just because you feel inadequate.I was a hard worker and nobody cared. Then companies like this wonder why they cant get good workers.
I was grateful and optimistic to see that the manager, E, was able to track down my package delivered to the wrong address using GPS. I went to the new address she gave me, and the package was not there. I called back the number she gave me to follow up with her, and it turned out it was the UPS corporate number, and the corporate reps had no way to transfer me to the Buffalo office or E. Frustrated and wondering why E would give me a corporate number and not her direct number. My package is still lost.
Im beyond frustrated, and disappointed, and frankly angry. I ordered a box of Lysol spray for my business. Liquid Gold. It went through different cities in New York New Jersey, then to Syracuse, and now in Buffalo it was out for delivery yesterday, and now suddenly upon inspection there was a lid or a can that was cracked and so they discarded it. Yes Im going to get a refund but we all know right now how valuable and how difficult it is to get Lysol to help us keep our businesses open and safe.Someone in the UPS delivery dept., I dont know if it was in the warehouse or the driver but Id put my money on it that someone inspected the package and noticed it was Lysol and decided they would sell it or keep it for themselves and claim there was damage. No one likes to think theres people out there who does that, but we all know it happens. It fell off the truck .I sure wish UPS could compensate me for the difficulty and my frustration.Because of this i can guarantee Ill do everything I can to use FedEx and the USPS instead of UPS! Thanks for nothing BUFFALO UPS.
Negative seven stars.TL/WR: systemic problems; rude helpline representatives, who do not perform the duties of their job; ridiculous delays (~2 weeks instead of 3 days, for instance) due to UPS errors.On multiple occasions, over a period of a few years, the same and similar problems have occurred, including: UPS system failed to import proper address information from business; instead of reaching out to receiver for address verification / correction, UPS at Buffalo, NY (according to package tracking details, it was specifically the Buffalo location) unilaterally changed the address; address arbitrarily chosen by UPS was not the most current address on file (despite having needed to call UPS to correct the address on previous occasions); no attempts to contact receiver -- despite email address and phone number on file with UPS; packages sent further away (including to other states), due to errors; customer service rude; giving statements contradictory to facts, other representatives, and self-contradictory statements within the same phone call (e.g., no, UPS cant deliver there. ... ok, so now that youve given us the correct address for the third time, it will be there tomorrow); package not delivered after address correction; customer service said someone would call within an hour, no one called, ever; customer service would not answer the simple and crucial question where is my package right now?, despite asking multiple times; customer service would not transfer to another representative; customer service would not transfer to a supervisor, despite half a dozen requests; customer service tried insisting the receiver would need to travel over 20 minutes out of the way to pick up a package that UPS sent further away from the destination after they had entered the wrong address; wait for supervisor around 25 minutes; learned from a courteous and helpful supervisor that customer service previously had filed no address correction, no escalation, had added no note or updated information of any kind; healthcare items (if delivered on schedule this time -- still waiting) will have taken around 2 weeks for delivery, with 6 days of that counting from the day that customer service was first contacted.True, UPS Domestic customer service helpline is not necessarily staffed by the same employees as Buffalo NY UPS location, but -- if Buffalo had not made their mistakes, there would have been no need to contact helpline; the UPS system is obviously part of a transaction with the Buffalo location; the Domestic helpline, in my experience, will be inextricably necessary as well.[Edit: had inadvertently pressed link to post review while still in progress, a few amendments and additions were made; 2nd edit: apologies, neglected to mention the UPS Domestic helpline supervisor most recently spoken with was polite, patient, and quite helpful. 3rd edit: amending timeframe, clarity].
We recieved our package on time however, the driver just left it on my front steps (I dont have a porch) for everyone to see. No knock on the door or beeper of the horn. The package contained medication. What if it had been taken? Common sense is to at least knock or beeper. Luckily my husband was home and happened to see the truck leaving.
Pretty good to collect packages when you might not be able to recover then at your mailing address. Sometimes though you end up waiting a real long time for the driver to get back in his truck during evening hours. Not the ideal solution to pick up packages when the drivers miss your delivery at the mailing address but at least the people at the office try to be helpful. Waiting area is very rudimentary and feels like sitting in a rusty warehouse back room, could definitely use some refeinment.
Finally got my package and it was smashed on one side. Its a freaking laptop!! I reported Mike and Tim for being so rude! UPS is the worst to have your packages delivered! How nice is that picture of my package/ Laptop! Please like my photos and reviews. Youll help me to get my rewards up!Thank you so much!
The delivery person who services my area goes through tremendous lengths to not deliver my packages, out of laziness. I have had 6 packages so far shipped via UPS, and every single one has been returned and later delivered via US Post. His efforts have included making 3 false delivery slips, and dropping them all off on the same day, 1 day after he already shipped my package back to the sender. My aparment building door does not lock and he is freely able to enter and deliver the package at my doorway if for some reason he doesnt want to leave it in the mail area. Customer service is useless in addressing my concerns. Im at a total loss as to what the issue is.
Says they cant deliver my package to My address because its wrong from the company I ordered from but when the address was read back to me it Is correct! Hell I just received an item from the same company 3 weeks ago and you were able to deliver it just fine, but now you cant find the place even though your in my lot 2 times a day delivering packages??? Now I have to wait 4 more days because of Your incompetence, thanks ups. Go Fedex!!!
Truck broke down on our street in Lackawanna.Sent 2 trucks to unload broken down truck. Completely blocked our driveway for over an hour!!!!!!!!..... Not ONE person from 3 trucks came to our door to explain what was going on or apologize or ask if we had to get out of our driveway. I know accidents happen........but you can be polite about it!!! Very BAD customer service!
They attempted to deliver my package 3 hours befire the beginning of the estimated window I was given via UPS My Choice. The next day, I take a half day off from work toto ensure I am home during their estimated window & shocker if all shockers, here it is 2 hours past the end of said estimated window and they still are not here.This is HORRIBLE service, just HORRIBLE!All the representative I got would say us that it will be delivered today and they hace up till 8 pm to do so.Thanks... I will have been waiting for 8 hours at that point. Thanks a lot!
Use Fed Ex! Faster and more efficient. These morons delayed my package because there was no room on the truck. Ive never heard a more ridiculous excuse from a DELIVERY company. Plus the cowards wont supply a phone number for the public. I will never use this service again unless Im reimbursed for my shipping costs.
Had a package delivery for today. guy sat outside for a good 5 minutes before driving off and putting down the address was wrong. needed that specifically for today. called the service center said it cant get re issued for a cupple days but the guy is still in the area and just cant come back. ive had no issues with my normal driver but this was a different one. guy needs to learn how to do his job right, or have someone with him because apparently he cant do it
Didnt knock or ring the bell, just left with my package, which I had paid extra to get it early. The arranged to have it at one of the drop points 10 min from where I live the next day. Was told I can pick it up anytime from 7 to 8, walk in at 7:05 to discover its not even there yet, and now I have to wait till Monday because theyre closed on weekends. It didny get tgere until 8:15, which is after they closed. This place is a joke.
Convenient and efficient service. Important note: only UPS location in Buffalo where you can ship a package using your personal UPS account number. Regular satellite locations unable to accept personal UPS shipping account numbers as they are individual franchises, must go to Buffalo UPS Hub (this location.)
Would rather ship it with a horse and buggy wouldn’t allow me to pick it up at the hub it’s gonna sit at all weekend I have to wait until it’s here on Monday or can pick up at the hub near me Monday! Will ship fedex for sure next time never had any issues with them ups sucks in my opinion!
Really irritating. Expected a package in a certain time frame that I chose and after hours of waiting, still nothing. Waited over 4 hours for a package that was a gift, and got nothing out of it besides wasted time. What’s the point in having you choose a time you want when it’s not going to arrive? Ridiculous.
Wont even leave a package at an apartment complex with a written signed statement stating will not hold UPS responsible. Also horrible rules not followed with driver discretion. Some drivers leaves packages and some dont. Worst customer service ever. Will never do business with UPS ever again.
My name is Milton Martinez and I live at 357 Wyoming Ave. Buffalo, NY. I received a notice that my package was sent to an Annex on Delavan Ave. at a Sunoco Station. My wife went to pick up the package and it was not there. The Proprietor called UPS and he was told that the package was on the Truck.UPS and FED EX are in the same boat. When I purchase something on line you can be sure that I will demand that the package be sent by Postal Service. It may cost more but the convenience of having the package delivered will be better than running all over Buffalo, NY trying to get my package. Then the worst part is that the package is still on the Truck after being notified that the package is at the Annex. I would think that you would have more consideration for your customers especially those that dont have transportation.
Car is the key 5 on this day impertlure because the bus was late it was packed snowing and all wet walking to get thiz job before the busses running to be rite on time Im ready told the last you dont have to explain nothing else Ive worked here B4 and I still havent heard anything about the job yet^^-^^😥
They screwed up a pickup a sent my packages out on a truck repeatedly, despite me calling to tell them to keep it at the store. Almost a week of this went on and they sent my packages back to Amazon. There was no point in going through another week of this so i just returned the package.

2022-07-29One of your drivers stole my package from Michael kors and I can’t get in touch with anyone about the issue .The driver got out the van walked to the other side open the door scan a bag and walked back to his driver side and drive offI have it all in camera! I need someone to get in contact with me ASAP so I can speak to someone ! That was not a cheap BAG ❗️

2022-01-23I had to get something to California from New York by 9:00 a.m. the next day. None of the UPS stores locally were able to accept it. So I pulled right in and around the parking lot to the customer center. You do have to drive through security but they let me Right in. Package arrived as expected.

2021-09-29Thanks for ruining my weekend. Preordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max and waited excitedly all week for it. “Expected delivery 2:15-4:15pm”. Saw the UPS truck ON MY STREET delivering to the house across the street, and then he was up and down and around my area for three hours. The truck is now parked back at the UPS shipping location and I’m beyond disappointed with their ability to deliver on time, especially considering the truck was literally within 30 feet of me several times today.EDIT: On Friday, UPS emailed me and said my package would be here Monday. Today, I logged in to see when it would be arriving today, only to find out that someone had gone in and DELETED THE SHIPPING HISTORY showing that the package was placed on the truck Friday. There is no longer a shipping date given on the tracking number. This is starting to feel more and more like a shady practice. A brand new iPhone model in the most desirable color is on the truck and then somehow vanishes from the records? Also, the local UPS branch has no direct phone number, and the number they give literally hangs up on you before youre able to speak with someone. Like the robot lady hangs up on you. Ridiculous. Ill be opening a claim and seeing what other avenues I can pursue to hold this UPS branch accountable for their actions. Avoid this branch if you can; choose a different shipping company.EDIT 2: The UPS phone number that you call is completely unhelpful. Four times they transferred me to a number that didnt ever answer the call. The local shipping center has no phone number to call. Im going to assume this package was stolen by the driver or another employee and pursue legal avenues and criminal charges since I cant seem to get any assistance or contact with the local branch through UPS.

2021-03-20My most recent experience is waiting for a package suddenly marked “extreme weather conditions may cause a delay, check back tomorrow for an update on your package” for a couple of days. I call the customer service number to find out it has been in Buffalo for days and was marked severe weather delay. When I informed the rep. That I LIVE in Buffalo, where the package is intended for delivery and there is NO “severe” weather at ALL, she changed her tune to “it may have been marked on accident”. Okay... so when will they update/fix the status and when will I receive my package as it was supposed to be delivered days ago? Her response... it should updated today and you should receive Monday, if not just give us a call. Unacceptable! Same company shipped me another item same day and that is on track to be delivered with no delays. Let’s see if I ever receive my package! This is a constant issue with UPS and I wish companies would stop using them. I never have good experiences. My packages are always dumped, damaged or stickers are left saying “we’ve missed you” when I was home waiting but they don’t bother to even knock or ring the bell!

2021-07-24I applied for a job, a rep called me asked if I got my work boots and if I was ready to start ..That night! I went there and they sent about 4 of us out saying to wait for one of two gals from HR to call us...I said A rep called me and asked if I was ready to start tonight, his reply was that happens....THAT SHOULD NOT EVEN ALMOST HAPPEN! So I applied to Amazon, my training starts tomorrow 😊

2021-11-11Absolutely no way of reaching anyone in customer service. The 800 number is a fully automated system, there is no local number for the buffalo hub that can be given out. The entire customer service system stinks.

2021-10-22JIM POWERS WAS ONE OF THE VERY FEW BEST OUTGOING EMPLOYEES I HAVE EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AT ANY BUSINESS. HIS BEING UPS. HE DIDNT ONLY GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR MY PROBLEM BIT HE DID THE EXTRA THOUSAND MILES. TRUE ASSET OF ANY COMPANY HE MAY B WORKING AT..
