Paid to reschedule delivery. Driver never showed up.Went online as told to agree on letting ups driver release package without signature. Driver still didnt leave package.Called and spoke with 2 reps a day, 4 days in a row, all of them told me the package will be delivered the next day but no UPS driver showed up.They do everything perfectly wrong. The Customer Service Team and their supervisor is very unprofessional. They have very bad Customer Service and couldn’t even help me with the problem I was having with my order. I was on hold for 40 minutes just to know that the supervisor can’t do anything about my order and couldn’t even reach this facility through call. Every time I called, they gave me different informations about my order (including the supervisor). Nobody knows what’s going on. This is crazy. I’m never doing any shipping with UPS ever again.
Theeee worse place ever. The genius delivery person decided to give my package to an unknown person without even asking for valid ID not to mention the person didn’t even live at the residence. Now I have to wait until the situation is investigated before anything is done and we’re weeks from Christmas and that was one of my daughters gifts.
My package says delivered and it was not. Now I had to re open my investigation like what are they even investigating at this point just wasting my time. Playing with me.and we’re a week away from Christmas and they just say it was delivered if it was delivered I would not be complaining . I use to trust UPS With my packages and now I absolutely do not.
I came in with a 9x7 rug with no box or wrapping - the rug was too big and there wasnt a box or bag that would fit it. Candy and Michelle were solutions oriented and helped me wrap the rug using plastic and heavy duty tape - and they were so kind throughout the entire thing. They got it wrapped up beautifully and I was so impressed and how thorough, creative and patient they were throughout the whole process.
I have worked with customer services from all over the world and different companies, but one thing I have learned is that UPS has the worse customer service. Never will I use UPS, nor have my friends or family use UPS. And please dont tell me to email you guys or send a private message on Twitter or FB because I have used every way possible to get help and I didn’t receive any, if anything I have been turned down.
Honestly, This had to have been one of the worst experiences of my life. Avoid having to come here at all costs.When you enter, there is no clear direction in which the line should be formed and no one to give answers on anything, so you are basically waiting in a void. It’s essentially what purgatory would feel like.There is ONE person working pickups and said individual is taking at least ten minutes per person to do their transaction. One would think that there would be a better system seeing as how it is a massive postal carrier but alas it ain’t so.If you must go here, bring a some water and a magazine/good tunes and a lot of patience because you’ll be here a while.
UPS Maspeth is horrid.If you are not willing to deliver the package at all, just hold it at the facility so that I can pick it up, or simply notify me that you are not going to let me receive my package anyway. The delivers either just leave a slip and sneak out like a ninja instead of one single knock while I was sitting next to my door, or dont even bother to stop by, then update the tracking as if they attempted that delivery. Why would you do that? Why would you drive around all day carrying the same package on the truck and scan it over and over - almost for a week? Its deceptive. Again, if you really that much dont want to deliver it, at least dont be that deceptive. It drains someones time and energy up. Its almost a traumatic experience. Ive tried my best not only to get my package but also to understand the delivers hardships and not complain. But this is too much and too ridiculous. Whats wrong with you?
Driver stole my package and marked it delivered. I requested a call back and got one much later than promised and was given the typical bs runaround. The representative that called me had the nastiest attitude and told me “you’re going to tell UPS how to do their job?” What kind of representation is that?
Horrible customer service! Waiting here ringing the bell for a UPS representative to open the door so I can drop off the packages. I am not the only one standing here. Then after 20+ minutes someone else rang the bell and we were told that we should not keep ringing the bell as it will make the person upset inside and make us wait longer. What type of customer service is this? I prefer UPS over FedEx, my UPS driver that comes by my work is great, it’s only when your at this facility that customer service is horrible.
Please bring your patience and a full day of your time to deal with these insensitive unprofessional UPS workers.From the security guard to the workers working at the desk.I’ve been here for an hour and each person will take 25 minutes to retrieve a package.I can’t comprehend with the number of packages and volume of transactions made from this location you have 1 person assisting with pick ups and shipping.The VP of Operations should be fired!
Checked the ups app for pick - it read item at the pick up center.Came for a pick up package, the guy at the at window says come after 9 pm. maybe we will have the item. I asked for supervisor, he says the item is in transit call the ups number. Called up the number - no one answers the call. The worse customer service.
Drivers here will take the time to write out an InfoNotice for a package requiring signature and say I wasnt home, but will not take the same amount of time to ring the doorbell and let me know there was an attempt.Supervisors should be ashamed of themselves for letting their drivers keep getting away with poor work ethic.
Horror Area BEWARE!!!!This place is really scary Avoid , Dark Brown Trucks driving in and out with strange packages. You almost get knocked down by one of these trucks while entering.Small door for entrance with gates like a prison.Ones you enter you hear people screaming and yelling.Whatever you’ll find out 🧟♀️
UPS MASPETH IS A DEFINITELY A MESS. THE UPS IN MASPETH DELIVERED MY 2 AMAZON PACKAGES ON 2/3/2022 TO SOMEONE ELSES ADDRESS IN MASPETH. I LIVE IN DOUGLASTON. THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE TRACKING #S . ONE OUT FOR DELIVERY AT 3:54 AM AND THE OTHER 8:02 AM. BOTH WERE DELIVERED AT THE SAME TIME AT 1:05PM. TO SOMEPLACE IN MASPETH. NORMALLY THEY TAKE A PICTURE WHEN THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED AND LEFT IN FRONT OF DOOR. BUT THERE WASNT ANY WHICH I FIND ALSO ODD. I CALLED THE 888 # ON WEBSITE. THERE IS NO WAY OF TALKING TO AN ACTUAL AGENT ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. CANT EVEN SPEAK TO A MANAGER TO MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT. PLEASE LOOK INTO YOUR DRIVERS AND THE MANAGEMENT THERE. I KNOW MISTAKES DO HAPPEN BUT UNFORTUNATELY IM NOT SURE IT WAS AN HONEST ONE. I ENDED UP CONTACTING AMAZON IT WAS MUCH EASIER AND THEY ARE SENDING ME A REPLACEMENT AT NO CHARGE. I hate ups, I recently ordered something and ups is in charge of shipping it to me. And when I called them and said “hey when is my package coming” and their response was “looks like your package is lost” and I was so confused on how you ups people lose packages. I prefer fedex and USP. UPS is the worst.
The security guards in this place is a joke very ill mannered a customer shouldn’t be treated like this, also the representative at the pick up counter is extremely rude. UPS should take the initiative to train their staff to be more professional I’m really disgusted visiting this place I really hope my future deliveries are not done through UPS.

So yesterday the UPS driver claim to have delivered my package to my address left it outside in the front door in Brooklyn New York like that doesn’t make any sense to me why you would leave a package out in the open where you know that the package could potentially get stolen unless the driver himself stole the package UPS this is unacceptable that your drivers are not doing their job properly and making sure that they hand over packages to the rightful owner. Hopefully the person named Trevor who release the package hopefully he can get better training on the job.
I dont know how it has as many as 2.2. its where stupidity meets arrogance. where apathy and customer disdain collide. Ive heard legends that the interview is comprised of the following. a 10ft by ten ft red box is placed in the middle only an empty room.if you cannot find the box, you are made a pick up at the center specialist.if you can find the big red box in an empty room, you are made a driver. if yiu refuse to move the box from where it is supposed to go - 5 feet from its starting point - you are on the management track.
I arrived at 9am to pickup my package and waited a whole hour for someone to come to the window to help me. Other employees at the shipping center and pay here were to lazy to find out what was happening with the individual handling package pickup. All they told me was that they were supposed to be there but no one made the effort to find out what was going on. Management needs to hire better employees
Absolutely the worst UPS warehouse to have something come through. Extremely unprofessional and have screwed up so many of my packages and then never once followed through on any attempts to fix the situation. Ive been assured packages were on the truck, scanned, and out for delivery only to never arrive. I had packages refused to be dropped off at my address only to then be dropped off and signed for at a random address. Ive had packages that after multiple failed delivery attempts arranged to be picked up from this center, only to be denied after arriving at the center. Avoid this horrible establishment at all costs.
Horrible. I normally dont leave reviews but people must be warned. This location will delay/lose most of your deliveries. Every single time Ive had a delivery come through here the estimated date and time is obsolete and Im looking for my package a week later. I always pay for the fastest shipping option and without fail this location will eat that money then give you your package a month later. I even just ried calling right now 11:41am on a tuesday and cant get a human on the line even though they boast representatives on 24/7. in short, this entire location needs to be shut down and reopened elsewhere or the entire team needs to be replaced.
If I can I would give -stars. This place needs to be investigated. Drivers claim they drop packages they never do. They never leave a sticky note to let us know they tried. This location needs to close down and supervisors and drivers need to be investigated. I will report them to better business bureau. This needs to stop NOW.
If there were 0 stars I would select that. This has caused me multiple phone calls just for SOME of my packages to arrive. They kept telling me something was wrong with my address even though whenever I order things in the past I never had this issue. I ordered two day shipping and it took a little more than a week to come because of it. I fixed my address (I guess). I got three of my packages but the last one got lost. I dont even know how thats possible. I ordered all these from the same store and same day/time. Im done ordering online. This is BS.
This place is in dire need of a renovation. It has been a dump for as long as I can remember.The customer center is tired and yellow and filled with handwritten signs scribbled in sharpie directing people where to go.I really expect better from a company as big as UPS, especially since this is their biggest, main local facility.The wait was not bad on my last visit, but it was like 2 in the afternoon. One person working, and there was a bit of a line, thankfully another came to assist after a while.
I guess the people in this establishment dont like working. Pick up customer service agent was terrible. Ive been in the hospitality industry for a long time and Im aware of how Im supposed to feel when entering an establishment of this sort. This man treated me so poorly I left feeling humiliated. He didnt want to help me and had no sense of customer service skills. Please find someone better to be the face of this establishment. When I asked for his name for reference on what he had told me was going on with my package he didnt want to give it to me because he knew he had treated me very bad and was afraid. However, all I wanted was a name to say in case I spoke with someone and they tried to tell me differently. OVERALL TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM IN SHOCK. I will never again use UPS services ever again.
Not sure where to begin with this location. They take over 40 minutes to get your package and they are rude. The people who work there need to retire as they dont care how long they make you wait. I recommend you get your package to a UPS store if you can or get it to your house.
Im not the type of person to leave bad reviews or leave reviews at all for that matter but this is my experience regarding this place.They claim my packaged was delivered but it never arrived, family was home all day and never heard the door bell or saw anyone attempting a delivery.Website claims the driver left it at the front door but there was no package in sight.Reading through the reviews on this UPS facility quickly made it apparent that Im not the first person this happens to and I doubt Ill be the last.Reading through past reviews on this facility, things dont look much better in terms of customer service.I would like to make a lost item claim but given the plethora of bad reviews on this place I feel like it would be a lost of time and a frustrating experience leading to nothing.Would highly not recommend using their delivery service if its going to be processed through this facility.MONEY AND PACKAGE LOST
Dont pick up your package here . I understand that deal with alot if people daily but the guy at the pick up center is rude and they send you to pick up stuff here but they never to have it whether its signed or not . They seem clueless at this facility . I drove back to Brooklyn just to get a call back that they actually have it to turn around and pick it up if i can.
Absolutely HORRENDOUS. Customer service is so low Im confused as to why this establishment still exists. I traveled 2 hours only for me to get there and have them not give me my package. Im a foreigner and I had a passport and although the address didnt match the package, I had gas and electric bills on my phone for my apartment, and even the lease! But due to the fact that it was on my phone they wouldnt accept it. The old man at the front desk said they only took hard copy because people could edit things. That rule doesnt make any sense because we live in an age of technology and you really think I cant forge bills on my computer and print it out? It gives UPS workers a false sense of security and makes no logical sense. It was almost as if the workers got off on denying people their packages. Either ways, its not the power move you think it is.
Whoever was working the pickup area today December 3rd at 545pm should not be in customer service.Arrived and no one was at the window. 10 minutes later he appears and takes my ID and tracking number. He comes back and says I cannot have the package since the name did not match. I pointed out to him the email clearly said if not the addressee then tracking number would be needed as well.He refused to listen to me, would not provide me his name and refused to get a supervisor to help remediate the situation and walked away.I then called him to speak with him again and show him a photo of the persons ID and ignored me to speak with another employee for 5 minutes and came over when he chose to.Terrible customer service and should be fired.Still do not have my package if someone from ups wants to remediate this

For the simple fact the drivers from this location scans my packages as delivered and signed by people who no longer even work at my clinic!!!! Ive had three packages stolen!!!! The customer service at this location SUCKS!!!!
Worst Company & customer center whatsoever! Stay away from dealing with this company. You will lose your package & will not be delivered, you will be treated in the most nasty way if you tried to speak to someone to locate your package. They will make sure to drive you crazy & make you feel so frustrated.When you ask to speak to a manger or someone in charge, the answer was no one here available to speak to. (You cant even complain or explain your situation to someone.)Package wasnt delivered twice for God only knows what reason & when i asked to pick it up & been told its available for pickup. Now they cant find it saying its somewhere in the building but they dont know where & cant locate it!! Come back tomorrow!!Note: i wasnt the only one standing on the line having the same problem & we all left the building with no help or hope. Driver came 3 days in a row between 9am and 11am of course I was working at this time. I called and made a complaint- supposedly dispatcher had to call me within an hour and let me know where is my package, he never did.Then I checked tracking and 7 pm attempt appeared out of blue moon when I was home at this time . THE DRIVER IS A LIAR .UPS IS GARBAGE SERVICE.THATS WHY THEY LOST AMAZON , BECAUSE THEY ARE TRASH 🗑ZERO STARS . FOR YOUR PERFORMANCE.IF I WORK LIKE THIS I WOULD BE JOBLESS.
This is the worst ups facility to have your packages shipped too. I recently had a package shipped there a few weeks ago and I never got a update schedule delivery date for my package. I had to contact ups investigations department to search for my package and it was never found I believe the workers here not doing their job correctly like they should when it comes to making sure customers get their packages on time and effectively.
A bit of cranky ppl they don’t have much customer service skills. I think they all about to retire, for they do not care about being nice and give an outstanding service. You name it starts with the security guy who helps you park the cars, God forbid you pass the line he will tell you off. The people inside don’t want to be there, I guess they can wait to go home. One man on his late 60s look very “happy to there”. Overall, not a place to hang around drop your package and ran out if you don’t want to get depressed.
Located in Maspeth, Queens New York. I live on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and its very very hard to get could the UPS warehouse for work especially when my start time is 4 AM. In order for me to get there on time I have to leave my house before 2:30 a.m. I really dont know if Im going to keep this job or not, its very hard to get to comma and it takes two long to get there it should not take so long, at all.
Person at the pick up office would not give me my package at all! I arrived at 3 got home at 6 nothing but constant back and forth calling their personal office and trying to receive my package absolutely horrible service and would never recommend going there ever again that facility is horrible and I hope this never happens again.
Horrible Service. Mannerless employees. I professional staffs. Waited all day watching UPS truck on the road from the window of 2nd floor to receive my package. Saw none. Later found out UPS info notice on the door stating sorry, we missed you. The driver even did not rang the bell. When called someone replied he had no idea about UPS. On the second call I stated that I was calling on the number found in google, he replied though the number belongs to UPS he can do nothing without hearing what the problem is. This is the third time in six month I encountered with same problem with UPS.From now on I won’t buy any good that will be delivered by UPS. I will call the seller to make sure the package won’t be delivered by UPS before buying it.
Edit:Ok originally I gave 2 stars because UPS didnt really do the will call delivery for an item requiring adult signature (no note was left, and the person at home didnt hear any door knock) on xmas eve. It seems that they are really backed up in holiday period (even adding delays to their next day air service) but their system overpromised saying I was gonna get my stuff on 12/24. But that was an unfair rating on my part for the services at this location (still 2 stars for UPS the service).I amended my review to four stars. The place is out of the way for someone w/o a car in the city. I took the Q67 bus here, which was a bit of a hassle. Since this is a warehouse/auto repair shop district, there wasnt much of a sidewalk from the bus station to the center, and you have to look out for lorries when crossing the street (crazier than usual drivers who may not expect pedi). I am not sure why UPS cant set up a tiny customer center somewhere near the subway stops in Queens. My particular item required adult signature, which according to UPS website restricts it to be picked up a customer center. It cannot be picked up at an access point (the rule makes little sense, as the access points can hold items costing thousands of dollars). Normally Id expect to be able to pick up at the UPS access points near my home.The pick up process here was smooth. There wasnt much of a wait on Monday morning (~3 ppl shipping stuff, 1 guy already being served before me picking up things), and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. They separate out the shipping line from the pickup line. The person who took my id and the (different) person who gave me the box were both nice.There is a parking lot right in front of the customer center. So if you drive in it is super convenient. It has say, probably about space to park a dozen cars.
Worst service ever company-wide. Ive waited for my package to arrive to get a notice saying my package was not delivered on Thursday. No one knocked on my door nor left notification that they had come. I waited the next day again and had the same outcome only this time mobile tracking says my package was delivered. When I contacted UPS, I was informed that they had taken the package back and would reschedule the delivery only this time it would be delivered to an access point on the next day. So I went to the access point on the date it was stated to be delivered, Saturday, and the clerk told me he had received all his deliveries for the day. The next shipment wouldnt be in until Monday. I contacted UPS and asked them to locate my package only to find out it never left the warehouse. I go to the warehouse to pick up my package only to find a line with one person working, and it took me 2hours to receive my package with only five people in front of me. The service guy was missing the majority of the time we were waiting, and he wasnt even looking for packages. The worst runaround ever. Im still looking for the package. Will not recommend anyone to go to this location to receive service.
Very bad experience, and from the two star rating, I guess I’m not the only one. It’s my understanding that because of a broken UPS Access Point located at 72 Wyckoff in Bushwick I wasn’t not able to receive my package and now it is being returned to the shipper. Please fix your faulty equipment at this location UPS. I think the online platform could also use some improvements, and glitchy repairs.
Very unprofessional. I took off from work to wait for a package and the driver decided he did not want to do his job and just lie about it. I was home all day, no one rang the bell or knocked at the door and no UPS slip was left, yet the tracking info said delivery was attempted and no one was home. Contacted the local representative and asked to talk to a manager and was told he wasnt in. How convenient, cant even leave a complaint about how unprofessional and lazy some UPS drivers are.
I wish I could rate this place with 0 stars. These people are the laziest employees I have ever had to deal with and they treat their customers with so much disrespect.I had my package sent out via Next Day Air since I needed this for a trip I was going on. I waited for it and received an email stating that the package was not delivered because there were no recipients at home. I never heard a doorbell and no one knocked on the door. I called UPS as soon as I got the email and they stated the courier will send the package straight to the facility and Id have to pick it up from there if I wanted to get the package on the same day. The woman updated the system and after I got out of work, I left and picked up my car to go to the UPS facility at 5:30pm, where the woman informed me that I couldnt pick up my package since it wasnt sorted. She told me I had to come back after hours after someone contacts me to tell me the package was ready to be picked up. I waited until 9:45pm, only to receive an email saying that the package would not be available and the facility was closed. I called UPS once again, only to be jumped around by Manny (the representative) and Chris (the night shift supervisor). Both were unable to provide me with any assistance, other than emailing the day shift staff at the facility in order to pick it up early the next morning (this wasnt possible since I was leaving for a flight where I needed the contents of this package).They ended up mailing the package back to the company and I was not able to receive my product - which was for my job. UPS has given me THE WORST SERVICE ever.
One of the UPS drivers just left my package without a signature or anything didnt even bother to make sure that I recieved the package. I reach out to the coporate office to make a complaint on the driver, gave me nothing but the run around. But the real smack in the face was the supervisor Andria she wouldnt let me file a complaint on the driver. She also made it seem like it was my fault that the UPS driver left my package where he wanted to she also told me to ask the company to replace it. She was very rude and unhelpful, what ever happened to the customer is always right policy some where along the line major companies arent treating people like they mean something to their businesses.
Driver walked in my building with a tiny package meanwhile I’m waiting for a washing machine. He walks back out with the tiny package and I check the tracking and it says “ recipient not available “ he didn’t even knock on the door. Didn’t even come upstairs. Disgusting. I understand it’s hard out there and you have to take Whatever job you can, but if you’re going to be that miserable then stay home. You know they don’t care when UPS is not even responding the amount of terrible reviews on here.
I would give zero star if I could.. They are not helpful, not kind, and takes so long to get the package. The location is also very inconvenient. Unless you are driving, it will take so long to just get to the location. So my story is... I left work early to get my package and I had to wait on line for more than 40 minutes. Then when my turn came, they told me that I cant get the package because my permanent address on my drivers license is different from the mailing address. That was the first time hearing about it in my entire life. It wouldve been helpful if they could let customers know in advance or at least before customers wait on line for 40 minutes. I wouldnt have been this mad if they said it in nicer way. This is my first time writing the Google review and this is how mad I was. Avoid going to this place if you could!
Horrible. Clearly their driver(s) is/are lazy. They said my address was wrong because it was missing an apartment number, I live in a house. So they had my package and expected me to pick it up during regular business hours, the same hours I work. So I called UPS 3 times on 3 different days, and they told me each time they sent this center a message to redeliver the package and that I would get a phone call with in the hour. All 3 times I never got a phone call and all 3 times the package was never sent out to be redelivered. So now it was sent back to sender and I have to do extra work by calling the sender and reordering my package. This shipping center clearly has incompetent employees. I’ve never had this issue before. All my other packages get delivered.
My experience with them is horrible the customer service is a joke. They tell you exactly the the app shows you, so why do we need them? And by mistake if you ask for the supervisor or manager, here you go they will put you on hold untill you hang up by yourself. My deliver is in the Bermuda triangle no one knows where is it. The driver said its in the depot the customer service representative says in the truck. I asked them can you please call the Depot to find out its there he said there is no way he can contact the depot. So guys wish me luck with my delivery as I dont know and they dont know where it is.......... It feels like customer service ends here..... RIP customer service.
Worst place to get your delivery from. I paid 17$ for express shipment and I had to call back and fourth the center plus the ups customer service number. I’ve been calling back to back for 3 days and no one has answered my question. Horrible customer service and horrible delivery drivers. The drivers supposedly attempted to deliver and I was supposedly NOT home when that day I didn’t go no where waiting for my package. They just so lazy they don’t want to go up some flights to deliver. Smh !
Awful. Their delivery driver made no attempt to actually deliver my package when I was home waiting to receive it - didnt ring the doorbell, didnt knock, just left a slip on my door and drove off. Was informed that my only option was redelivery the next day (despite that seemingly no attempt was made to deliver in the first place). Supervisor I spoke to was extremely unhelpful, wont allow me to pickup from the center due to the package being a gift (and thus having a different name on the order). Useless. They should fire everyone here and start from scratch.
Probably the worst experience I had with orders. Called them 3 times because I got a message that they didn’t received my apartment suite number when the sender clearly put it there, and the main office confirmed it.Then proceeded to tell me that I will get a call back when nobody called. They emailed me and told me I could pick up my package after hours and when I got there no one was able to help me with my package.Don’t call yourself the premier delivery service when it’s obvious that you guys don’t care about your customers. FedEx > UPS
Employees here are kind and friendly. Always quick service in the morning when Im dropping and picking up packages for work. Some of the customers are super rude to the employees. They cant wave magic wands and make improperly shipped items appear. Whenever i have to go to UPS i go here instead of the airport or brooklyn .
There was only one person working at the pick up window. He was very rude, and every other person in the line was sent away for one dumb reason or the other. I travelled out of my way to pick up a package that they claimed they attempted to deliver but about 4 other people in the line said they experienced the same thing and they were home waiting as well. The service was slow and then they claimed there was no manager on sight until nearly closing time.
If you live in Queens, use another address for delivery to avoid your having your packages routed to this site. This is my third experience of a failed delivery from this site. I have also told manufacturers that use UPS that I will no longer patronize them as a result. Stick to Amazon. They get a bad rap for taking away a lot of business from other merchants, but thats because they always deliver quality and efficient service!!!
Never have I seen a more wretched hive of incompetence, rudeness, and unethical behavior. Have had several terrible experiences with them throughout my years living in the Queens area but the most recent one was this week. My package (samsung TV) was supposed to arrive on 11/4. Its now 11/8 and I find out that my package was stolen by a facility worker after the staff lied about delivering my order on 11/7. Why do people continue to use UPS? Stay far, far away.
I was told to pick up a package at this location by an ups rep when I got there I was told that the package didnt arrive yet, I was told to come back the next day when back, no package, went back the next day and the location was closed on Saturday when back on Monday the clerk told me I needed my driver license with my address on it, my address was my old address on my drivers license so I had some information of a credit card that came to me with the address in question an i was told that it was unexpectble, and wont give me my package after all the trouble I was put through, I decided to have the package delivered to a different address after all of this the agent took my information and proceeded to redirect my package for a $6 fee when time come for the pickings my package the next day I went to the location and I asked if they had an package for me I was told no package me at this location, I said what! its showing delivered ! Show thing It was definitely delivered to the incorrect address, the address I did t wanted it to be delivered there, because I was haveing problem getting my mails there and specifically told ups were to deliver my package it was quite a large package with an item that cost $1500 and I needed to sign for the package but ups delivered my $1500 package to my address without my signature an someone Els sing for my package and they left it there, I race home to get my package and it was there! Unexpectble from ups you get a 0 stars if I can only put it there, will not be using ups again in the future
Absolutely unprofessional company with the worst customers service. The UPS drivers normally park in front of my home on their breaks but somehow never know where to drop off packages when we have a delivery. They often put the pink slip without ringing the bell (my bell works just fine and FedEx never has an issue.) And they can never offer more than half hearted apology.Today I waited for an important package all day only to be told the address was wrong. I called customer service and confirmed that they had the right address and no truck had come by. The rep stated he would reach out to the delivery truck and tell them to come back which shouldnt be an issue since they deliver until 11pm. I get a call back from the Maspeth customer service rep, Priscilla S., who changes the narrative and said they will attempt again tomorrow. I told her I couldnt take 2 days off, and all she could offer was an oh well. I asked to speak to a supervisor bc she was being rude and she said she was the only one there I could speak to and she wasnt going to make the delivery man make a second attempt. I told her there was never a 1st attempt bc they claimed the address was wrong when it actually wasnt. A quick google maps search would have avoided this whole situation.Companies using UPS instead of USPS or FedEx should take note that they are losing customers who would rather deal with a company that uses better delivery services, and I truly urge customers to use better delivery services of given a choice.
Oh, this is hilarious, I see Google seems to take sides with businesses. In order to post anything you have to click on at least one star! But if a customer feels they are not worth the STAR, why have us LIE Google? Okay, to get my review out there, I guess I will have to take a page out of the UPS automated system, and LIE as well (when checking on the status of my package, the recording said: The receiver (which happens to be ME!) has requested we HOLD this package until the next business day. I never REQUESTED anything of the sort!!! Is it possible to start a petition to have this business closed???Heaven knows there should be enough of US! We would do better reverting back to mules delivering packages. Yeah, it may take awhile, but I do believe packages would make it to their destination! I am not talking about the Customer Center in Maspeth, I am talking about when I have to call Customer Service.
First bad experience was when I wanted a package picked up for return. Someone was home the day the package was supposed to be picked up but no one ever came. When I called customer service they said the package was picked up already, meanwhile in was looking at it still taking up space on the kitchen. They had misscanned or something? Basically scanning another package as mine. After a few calls it finally got picked up a couple of days later.Now I was home sick and luckily my package was scheduled to be delivered. The doorbell rang and I went downstairs, mind you that takes less than 30 seconds and when I get to the door they had already left, not a trace of the truck and just the paper of the door. Called customer 4 times and each time a different answer all basically being no help at all. Theyre going to attempt to deliver when no one will be home. So this should be a fun game of back and forth again until eventually I get my package.
Seems to work pretty good for the two visits I made at the UPS Maspeth location so far. They have a small parking area for you to park your vehicle to then get your transactions done. When you get to the gate, the worker in the booth will point out a spot for you to park at. They have a few seats, just in case its needed but all in all. It moves pretty fast to drop off or pick up a package here.
THE WORST WORST WORST!!!!!!!! Ive had multiple packages that the driver would not deliver!! I called EVERY DAY for redelivery. Some days the driver wouldnt even ring my door. Some days they just put a BLANK we missed you on the courtyard door! No info or anything!! The least of their job they could do is fill out the damn slips!!!! How lazy can you be!!!! It took a WEEK of calling DAILY just to get my packages!!!!!! I absolutely avoid UPS delivery as much as possibly in this area!
Going to this center after being unable to pick up my package from an access point for 3 days straight, I was sent a notification that the package was being returned because I hadnt picked it up yet. Obviously I was flabbergasted due to the fact that it wasnt my fault and the person at the access point claimed the package wasnt there. I hurriedly called UPS and they said they would keep the package at Maspeth. I came at my earliest convenience and after arriving. I was treated with the worst customer service and the manager there was unuseful as well. DEFINITELY DO NOT COME HERE. JUST USE USPS INSTEAD OF UPS.
Diana was rude and disrespectful, I don’t understand how you have someone working in a customer job but don’t know how to speak to one. She was not helpful and my package was damaged I feel like it was retaliation for just asking about my package!!! It took me 7 phone calls to actually get to a supervisor. UPS you need to revaluate some of your employees because of this terrible experience I definitely will not be using your services. Amazon it is!
A great majority of the employees who work at this location have no respect for the customers. Im trying to return a package and when Im up front after waiting 30 minutes on a line, they have the audacity to tell me they dont take cash and then youre the one who gets chastised for it. Am I psychic? Put up a damn sign saying you dont take cash. These employees need to be fired. Ill gladly go to UPS again and identify all these rude employees personally on Rate and Review
My husband ordered me a gift from Kate Spade, it said out for delivery on 3/17/18. I made sure people were home all day to receive my package. All day I had been tracking the package until it said delivered at about 515pm. At 515 is when UPS updated it but the package was delivered at around noon. No one ever knocked, it was left at front door. Either the driver stole my package, never delivered it at all, or it was stolen due to being left at front door. I called ups to complain and was told I would get a callback from the shipping facility, who returned my call about 10 minutes later. The woman on the phone stated the driver was already back from his run and there was nothing that could be done because it stated it was delivered and they had no proof of otherwise. I told her someone was home and they never knocked and instead their lazy asses just left it outside the door in a public housing facility for someone to take. Again she stated there was nothing they could do. I told her I wanted to file a complaint against the driver and she kept ignoring my questions and trying to rush me off the phone. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. Something needs to be done about these people.
This is without a doubt the worst location of UPS. I left a note by the front door for the driver to ring the bell because I was home. Of course he just stuck the door tag on and drove off. After dealing with corporate, someone from the Maspeth branch finally called back. She was unbelievably rude, claimed that the driver delivered all of his packages and hung up on me. The amount of money that people pay for UPS should equate to better service.
I was called to pick up a 30lb package between 8 and 9:30pm. I pulled in the customer parking lot and this security lady with an attitude told me to park outside and walk. I still went in and parked in the spot, got out of the car and told her Im disabled wearing a catheter because of an accident. I cant carry that box it strains me down there. She was still persistent saying to park outside. I ignored her and went inside and she followed me inside and told the UPS lady not to give me my package. I showed them my catheter and they still had no decency to give me my package. Very rude security guard. Black female about 58 with glasses and said she was the supervisor. I called the office and they told me she was not a supervisor just a security guard. It amazes me how inconsiderate people are these days.
Garbage service both from drivers and customer service representatives. Drivers for Forrest Hills area leave slips with no attempt to deliver, slips are incorrect for package location/secondary attempts, or they will leave the package outside the secure area of the lobby. Customer service representatives have an attitude and make excuses over actual facts. Phone number given to find the location of the driver, and potentially my package, was a dead end number that states you have reached a non working number at ups.... When talking again to Customer service rep at Maspeth UPS they responded The driver is in the building then immediately hung up. Again garbage service and deserves less than the 2.1 stars currently shown at the time of this writing.
Wouldn’t release my package even after i arranged with UPS customer service and showing my case number. This man wasn’t even listening to me he was kept saying name has to be matching... I told him the name pn the package isn’t my illegal name so i told him to check the address and he was kept repeating “name need to match”.
If I could give this location ZERO stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. UPS has a policy that allows someone with proper identification listing an exact matching address to the package to pick said package up. Not only is this policy not followed at this location, it is enforced in the most unprofessional manner. My partner made time to visit the Customer Center to pick up the package because I could not make it due to work, and she already had the day off. Upon arriving and speaking with a “professional,” she was berated for trying to pick up the package due to a policy “only this facility has due to fraud.” The “professional” proceeded to deny a request to speak to a manager for over 10 minutes, and accused my partner of cursing at her, meanwhile when I spoke to my partner she had done no such thing. Additionally, when speaking to the “manager,” my partner was told a run around of a story about child trafficking through shipping, as well as fraudulent attempts to steal cell phones that belonged to other people. Ultimately, she was told the only way to pick up a package was to present the OTHER person’s ID AND a utility bill, which is contrary to what UPS told us over the phone AND nonsensical. Because my partner was in the DMV during the day, she was in possession of a utility bill with BOTH our names on it, and she was STILL denied the package. Another hypocrisy of the policy that anyone with a fake ID or the will to steal a package can muster. It’s 2018 and they decided to give us a hard time about our package in a way that belittled and patronized my partner. I needed to leave work early to retrieve the package. When I arrived, they recognized the address and gave me the same song and dance, save for the accusations of cursing and being wrong. A random gentleman came up to me after the professional went to pick up the package in the warehouse and, much to my amusement, said, “that’s a 51 pound package. How is she (referring to my partner) supposed to take that?” I said, “What? Is it because she’s a woman or because she is small?” He scoffed, then I shared that we have the car just outside, and he walked away. A bunch of class acts at this particular location. The ONLY reason we worked with UPS was because Amazon shipped it through them. Typically, we use FedEx. It is a tremendous disappointment that we have to go these lengths to pick up a package. We have filed a complaint with UPS already and will be following up very soon. Avoid this place. There is a reason it is rated so poorly.

My package was in Maspeth facility 4 days ago and it stated it would be delay delivered 1 business day, but up until now, 4 days has passed and my package is still sitting in the facility. No updated status since then. Want to call and ask for support, can’t even get through the line and it keeps”Bibibi...” wrote an email but got no responses. Chat online but is not available, just keeps asking me to call or emails but none of these work. I am really frustrated and really want to ask UPS’ staff, when my package is going to be delivered?
Horrible service! I was home all day waiting for this and they didnt even buzz my door. Later i found out that they left an info notice on the main door downstairs and they were going to leave my package at the access point. Went to the access point on three separate days and they didnt have it. I live in Queens and these UPS drivers are too lazy to come up the stairs to deliver packages so they dont bother even buzzing the door. I would fire all the drivers if i was managing this location drivers. Absolutely unacceptable.
Tried picking up a package today and I am under 18, this isn’t a problem according to Corporate UPS. But to this specific lady it was. I had an ID and my name matched the package. I was nice to this lady and she still refused as she was very disrespectful and simply does not deserve her job( I really hope she sees this). I asked for her name and badge number and she simply started shaking her head no. What kind of worker is this. DEFINITELY DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS STORE. THIS WOMAN WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL. She was very rude unprofessional and did not do her job. Friday September 20th hours 2-4 at the package pick up counter.
The staff here is the rudest, most idiotic, miserable group of individuals Ive ever experienced. They do not want to help you get your package. They do not want to be human to you. They couldnt give two shakes about anything. They have their rules and nuts to everything else. They dont even seem to be associated with UPS in any real way. Just awful. Ive been here three times. Same thing every time.
The name is costumer center but this place has no regard for costumers. They making it very difficult to get the package and even when they have the package they are taking they’re time bringing it to you. What should be very easy and fast interaction became a terrible experience

Cyclist almost killed by shipping truck. Despite my yelling this driver continued into the road almost forcing my bicycle under the wheel of her truck. Truck license number p85382 at 01:56hrs on thursday november 19th. I am a veteran cyclist of 14 years here in nyc and we all deal with the stresses and dangers of traffic but a national company with big profits has a reasonable liability to protect our local cyclists and pedestrians. That expectation isn`t being met here and we are just awaiting another white bicycle without some oversight. Will file complaints with local representative in the AM.
The worst ever. I made a complaint about them not delivering my package on time. They responded by changing the status to Customer requested package to be held until Nov. 23 thats more than a month from original delivery date. After a second complaint, they responded with We will not give you the package and you cant pick it up. Third complaint, and after 7 phone calls to the Main UPS number, my package was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow October 14, thats a week after my original delivery date.*After you speak to them one or two times. They will ignore your phone calls will not answer.NO MORE UPS as long I live in Brooklyn.AVOID this place at all costs.The only reason they get 1 star out of 5, is because thats the only option.0 STARS!
There should have someone younger working here to send out packages, I have been waiting here over 30 minutes and the man that works here is trying to figure out how to help the customer ship out a package for a customer. This is not fair for the customers waiting here, Im sure everyone has better things to do than to , and the Revis no supervisor / manager around.
Wish i could give 0 stars. Driver attempts to deliver my package to my commercial location after closing hours. Then updates saying the package is dropped off here making me waste my time coming here for nothing when its still in the truck. 2 days in a row. The updates suck
Absolutely horrible. They lost my 4 packages. They just disappeared. Whenever I called customer service (and spent 30 minutes on the line), they gave me different info each time. No one knows what is going on, no one can provide the exact status of the package even with the tracking no. which makes me think that the driver probably takes packages for himself. SO unprofessional, slow, horrible!
My package, a mattress, was scheduled and out for delivery on Friday, Aug. 28th, then at the end of the day, this disgusting UPS center removed the out for delivery record, pretending like nothing happened and refused to do the delivery as they supposed to do on Saturday. UPS HQ told me its then scheduled to be delivered on Monday, Aug. 31st, but this center refused to do it again and hold it as in transit, Im afraid my package has been stolen by someone working in this UPS center
I was waiting for my package and UPS stated it was delivered and left on my front door when nobody buzzed my intercom to let them into my building. Package is missing and shame on them. Called customer service 5 times and they offered an call back repeatedly and today they said I have to call the sender. I hope UPS stop lying and start to delivered packages.
They dont deliver to your place, they just put memo to the main entrance door for you to pick up at pick up place yourself. Dont use UPS. Even I was home, driver never rings the bell and they don’t deliver the item. Doesn’t matter signature is not requiring items, they don’t deliver. I think UPS doesn’t like to delivery to your door.Now I found that from UPS Customer Center, Maspeth, NY, Tania said only sender request for signature, drivers are delivery the package to front of your door. Otherwise, for building tenants, Driver can leave package at common area in the building, Entrance, Main hall, etc.,
UPS is the worse Delivering service in the world. I was told my package would arrive between 10:30 and and 2:30 PM. I waited home all day and then I found an info notice sticker on my door. I did not hear any door knocking or ringing my bell. I just wasted my whole day waiting for a package that I never received. I will only use FED EX from now on. Stay away from UPS.
The worst!!! I have been waiting for a package and literally have stayed home for two days straight. The tracking has stated that it is out for delivery for two days in a row and my package have not arrived yet. The central office of UPS needs to look into the performance of this location, multiple people have similar complaints and nothings has been done. Attached you will find the tracking information of my package, hopefully I will get my package this Monday, if not I will edit this review to waiting 3 days.
Terrible customer service!! After not even coming to deliver the package at all on the first day it was supposed to be delivered, today they came at 5:00 and left a note on the door without ringing the bell and after I had written that they could leave the package with no signature. Then when I called and asked them to redeliver it they told me that it was too late and I could come to the delivery center to get it myself if I needed it tonight. Cant believe how unhelpful they were and can not wait to receive my package and be done with UPS all together!
This is one of the worst companies ever. Half the time they never bother to deliver on the day they say they will. Moreover, deliveries to residential homes take a backseat to commercial or business deliveries. Count on a very late end of day delivery if you are lucky and a residential customer. The less I deal with UPS the better.
Driver attempted to deliver package to wrong address and left a notice. I saw the notice on the way home and called to ask what happened. UPS customer service apologized for the mistake and assured me the package would be delivered that very night. Not 2 minutes later a supervisor from the Maspeth office called to tell me the package would not be delivered, but could instead be picked up at the Maspeth office (90 minutes from my apartment) or I could wait until 2 business days later when they would attempt to re-deliver the package. I asked her her name and I told her it was unacceptable since I was not at fault that UPS was. She told me her name was Janelle but refused to provide a last name, told me I could pick the package up or wait until Monday and hung up the phone.I decided to drive to Maspeth where I was told that the package was in the system and that I could not have it. I explained to them that a supervisor told me to come pick it up and they told me I could leave or security would escort me out.I have never been treated so poorly and advise anyone who has the option to never use UPS in the Greater New York City area as you will be mistreated at every step of the way.
Terrible service, incredibly unprofessional. My parcel was supposed to arrive yesterday, and theyre now telling me to pick it up myself tomorrow if thats even possible. The driver came to the house, didnt ring the doorbell and I was home all day. Only got text notification that they missed me, nothing else. Incredibly disappointed, terrible experience. Dont rely on them here.
Can I give this zero stars, because even thats a complement for this place? This UPS center exemplifies the worst possible customer service humanity could deliver in our generation. Its amazing they even call it a customer center. When I went, I waited 3 hours just to find out they wouldnt accept my photo ID because my address wasnt legible, wouldnt allow me to print out a new address proof or accept a soft copy on my phone, and when I went back with a valid printed proof of address (having waited another hour in line), I find out that theyve already sent my package out to ship to my address. They just wouldnt understand that the reason I came out all the way, was because I couldnt get home in time for the package.I hope this place burns in hell. Its customer torture
This place is the worse. The driver never delivered my package despite his stating that he made several attempts when we were home at the time of all his delivery attempts. I finally had to arrange pickup of the package at the customer center where I waited for over an hour for the driver to return. When he never did, I made arrangements to pick it up the next day only for it to wind up back on the truck for a final delivery attempt. I once again tried to have it arranged for pick up by getting a supervisor involved and made a formal complaint. This took over a week of phone calls to customer service and two visits to the customer center. I called again today and was told that my package is waiting for me to pick up. Im hoping that is indeed the case. It shouldnt be this difficult to receive a package.
Packages are consistently being lost or misplaced, customer service even more incompetent when it comes to finding your package, gives out false information on multiple occasions. They are so unreliable id rather just get the package myself then have them try to even attempt to do their job.
Worst service in the world. I would give minus rating.I paid extra for escalated shipping & I was waiting whole day at home. I called UPS customer service as there was no update on package. They told me driver is running behind the schedule. At 8:00 pm they update the status that Customer was not in first attempt. No tag in my door! What a service!!!
I had a product that I paid overnight shipping for to arrive at my house by Friday at 8p.m. UPS did not deliver the item to me. Now they are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. So an item that I paid to receive within 24 hours will not be delivered to me until 6 days later. Unacceptable! I only do overnight shipping for items that are absolutely urgent. I called UPS to enquire and the customer service rep was unapologetic and outright rude.
Horrible services, avoid using or let your shipper using UPS at any cost, my next day Lie 1: Day after Thanksgiving is a holiday for UPS, thats why no deliveries. Lie 2: Unable to contact customer at primary number or alternate number - no missed calls when cell bars are full 3. Someone will give you a call back regards your package, you are right!
UPS Customer Service line will tell you that you can pick up a package (for your spouse or other) if your ID has the same address. This is WRONG. They will not let anything go unless you have the addressees ID. Also, theyre now closed on Saturdays, so good luck getting a signature required package if you work normal NY hours.
I ordered a dress two weeks ago and it was supposed to be here a few days after. Find out it was sitting at this location all because my apt number was missing, they said they tried contacting me but they didnt. Every time i call customer service they say I dont know what to do , its your job to know what to do and to find my package. If you have an ups office near you send it there cause it didnt work out for them to bring my package to me. I honestly hate ups with a passion.
Beware if your package goes through Maspeth be prepared to wait a very long time to receive it . My package has been rescheduled for the last three days in a row and Im pretty sure it will be rescheduled again tomorrow. This always happens when UPS is it the carrier . Youre better off with USPS or FedEx
They said my package would get delivered between 1:30pm-5:30 pm and I didnt get the package until 8pm. When I called the 1 800 # a supervisor told me he would call me back in 20 min to let me know whats going on. He never called and I called him back 1 hr later to find out he went home. By far the worse service I have ever had and I truly cant believe there still in business. I truly think UPS needs a new staff at this location
On My UPS I paid for packages to be delivered on later date (Friday). $5 per package. Packages that included my bed and mattress. For no reason they were change to the following Monday last minute giving me no place to sleep. Only solution to pick them up myself. Having no car in NYC, used an uber to get my packages home. After hours of waiting terrible service by the guy (thankful for the manger) finally got home at nearly 11pm. On the phone representative told me I could get reimbursement for the Uber. No reimbursement was giving. Overall terrible service. not the first time. My first review ever. It was that bad.
UPS is the worst and most unreliable delivery company. They reschedule delivery date all the time, and sometimes they are not even patient enough to wait 30 sec while I am running down the hall to get my package and leave a note saying the signature is required. The quality of service is just so horrible and I wish I didnt make the order... worst experience in my whole life.
Weird company ever!!!! I set up my package from delivery to pick up at customer service. However, they told me that my package, which is in the customer service, is not ready to pick up because the package is transiting in the building. Im like WTF, why you transit my package in the building instead of let me picking up, and I had to wait till three days after to pick up, not even mention the pick up time is 9am to 5pm, which is ver inconvenient to a working people. UPS should take customer opinions seriously, or you guys will never win a customer support ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was home all day just like the other people who wrote a review on here. I guess this is a scam to get us to pay for an additional $5 fee to just have it actually sent to our home. I just like the others was home all day and they didnt ring a bell. Later I found out the delivery person left a note. The note said it will return next business day to send it. However online I tried to track it and it said they are sending it to some other address, UPS Access Point. I contacted them on a live chat and the woman Andrea L. just collected my information and said that someone will call within the hour. About 45 minutes later while I was already on hold calling them, I get a phone call from them. The guy kept saying the same line that the shipper had it changed. He was telling me to talk to them. I called the shipper and they said they had nothing to do with it and that it was UPS. They even tried to see if they can change it and they said they couldnt. I looked back at the tracking page on UPS and refreshed it to find out that exactly when I hung up on the UPS customer service guy they had completed the delivery change. If they continue this maybe we should report them to Better business Bureau or something.Update: I had called UPS Customer service number and a woman named Kashawnta listened to my situation and clarofied things. She said it wasnt the shipper (basically the UPS representative who spoke to before lied) that changed it. Also, she was able to have it sent back to my house. She indeed was the most helpful person. Dont call the local UPS number call the main one. I think they are better at resolving things. Also after I spoke with her the local UPS called me asking me if I wanted it sent to my house and if I did I had to wait the following day since the driver has the package and they would have to redirect it back to my house. I said yes I want it sent to my house. I literally waited in my living room where I can easily view who is at the door and again I saw the UPS delivery guy just knock on the door instead of using the doorbell. Before I even got to the door, he just left the packages in front and was already heading to his car. He saw me too as I picked up the packages on the floor.
After reading the reviews I was not looking forward to stopping by this center to pick up a package. Ill admit they dont look like they wanna be there but as early as I went in the morning I didnt wanna be there either.There were about three people in front of me and that was about a 10 mintue thing. The guy I had to deal with was understanding. I thought Id have to call the 1800 number on them in person but that wasnt the case at all. My boyfriend had a package sent to my house and his ID didnt have my address on it, but I brought his and mine and it was not a problem at all.Though I must admit the signs they have posted inside are the complete opposite of what they tell you over the phone.
Was a little scared to see all the bad reviews, but I have no choice in who the retailer chooses to ship their packages. I checked the UPS website after not receiving the package and realized that I missed the first attempt (I wasnt home but there was no notice left on my front door). I called and had them leave it at the center for pickup. The lady on the phone was very polite and helpful.I got to the center on Tues at 5:30pm. There were about 7 people ahead of me. The workers were professional, not rude or anything. Got my package without problems and left at 6pm.
0 stars.UPS is so poorly run in New York.I received a final delivery slip for a package, but to my surprise, I never received the 1st or 2nd notice to act on.When I called customer service to have it re-shipped, I finally got a call from someone at this location and the customer service was horrible. Not only were they not able to rectify their own mistake but the nasty attitude I received from the employee was completely unprofessional.UPS I will never use your service.
Unbelievable- you are greeted by a very nice elderly man with a Heavy Accent who I had a hard time understanding. He told me that although I had a postage paid label it was adhered to an incorrect envelope and therefore I could not mail it. UPS has envelopes and boxes but not available at the major drop off facility in Maspeth And by the way you have to purchase their mailing materials. WOW 😮
UPS MOST USELESS COMPANY EVER. Post office has better service then this god forsaken place. Please anyone that plans to ship anything do not use ups they are useless and will lose 90% of your packages as well as hope. ive went to this place 3 separate times as i was told to by ups reps. and it seems my package is always out for delivery. but never at the center no matter how many times the reps tell me they will hold at the center. please do not use this company if you have any self respect go to someone that has a better rating than 2
Worst experience with a delivery company ever. The people at this location gave me the run around for the past week and I still dont have my package. Had to drive 30 mins away from my home, to not be able to pick up my package twice. Horrible customer service and even worse location. If youre driving here, be prepared for a miles worth of potholes on the way. Also, make sure you have proof of your address on mail, because just your id and the tracking number is not enough to pick up. Definitely will not order online again from a company that uses the for delivery. Wheres the 0 star option for these reviews?
SO, I am giving the UPS customer center in Maspeth 5 stars to offset some of these terrible reviews here. My true rating of UPS in general would have to be 2 or 3 stars. I had to go pick up my new phone arriving from Verizon at this customer center due to some bureaucratic fallacy that made it so UPS couldnt deliver to my closest access point. Even with a Verizon business representative on the line (and they are technically the sender), the UPS representative on the phone wouldnt budge on trying to redirect my package to a local access point, literally at the corner down the street from my apartment in Bed-stuy. The UPS representatives curt and almost aggressive inability to help with anything really was a let down, and even the Verizon rep on the same line as us was appalled at the lack of help that I was receiving.Anyways, thats why I had to make the trek from Brooklyn to the Maspeth Customer Center, a location that is so devoid of public transportation options that I had to resort to copping up money for Uber services. I gotta say, seeing the reviews on both Yelp and Google truly stressed me out. I was terrified at the notion of having to wait an inordinate amount of time for my package, and on top of that, appalled to see that people were being turned away because their IDs didnt match the NY address. As a recent transplant myself, I had an out of state ID that didnt reflect my current address. I brought a utility bill from my ISP (I went paperless for everything else) and a whole slew of junk mail with my name and address on it, hoping that it would work.And thats where the five stars come in. The situation I arrived into when I was dropped off at the customer center--full of dread--was a complete 180 from what I had read online. I did some research and found that the best time to come was between 11am-1pm (lunch hours) and found no one in line when I walked through the door. I went up to the man at the pick-up counter and sheepishly handed in everything I had... and instead of an expected denial, I got a thanks for coming prepared and having everything good to go (FYI, only a utility bill with your name and address will suffice as proof of address.) I was in and out in less than five minutes--so quick in fact that the Uber I ordered home was the same that took me there.So thats that--my horrible experience with UPS customer service, culminating in a pleasant surprise at the customer center. Do your research, come prepared, and realize that the people you are dealing with are there to help you--and you should have no problems picking up your package.
I always have a problem receiving my packages that are delivered through UPS. Their idiocracy must trickle down from the top. I wait at home and no one as so much as rings the doorbell. I just open a door to the we missed you slip. And then its a hassle to pick it up from this location. I need to start finding out beforehand which delivery company will be used so that I can avoid UPS.

Twice the web tool says the vague Delivery by End of Day and twice the driver comes a little bit after noon. After calling and staying more than 15 minutes on hold, I had to get in touch with their chat service to have them hold the package for me so I dont miss it again: I couldnt do it by myself on the web because you need to create a UPS account for that. Now I have to go to the pick-up location during their work hours (they close at 6:30pm) and will inconvenience me since I have to work. Everything about UPS has been just bad. I will never buy anything from an online store if UPS is the only shipping option. Sorry guys, shipping should be made simple but youre complicating it.
Delivery guys are the worst. My daughter was shipped a package for her birthday by her grandmother and I would have never known about the package arriving if her grandmother didnt tell me UPS tried to deliver it 2 days in a row. I never heard doorbell ring the first day...second day I wasnt home...but the kicker is that on neither day did I get a notice of delivery in my mailbox! So without her grandmother giving me the tracking number and letting me know about it the package would have been shipped back to her without me even knowing a package existed!!! Thats horrible!!!! How can you not even leave a slip!!!!
They lost my birth certificate. No one seems to know where it disappeared after being loaded on the truck for delivery. No apologizes. No one seems to help or care ...Advised me to contact Department of Health for a replacement. What about the one that is missing----probably in the wrong hands for fraud! Thanks UPS!!!! Extremely unhappy, frustrated and angry. I really hate their drivers....super lazy...dumb...and most of all incompetent! Im surprise they can drive because god forbid they use common sense and actually deliver a package.....
How does this store expect to stay in business? I am waiting for my package last 4 days and its impossible to contact anyone and the Maspeth store has no number listed. The item was placed in the truck every day, but take it back without delivering it. Horrible service. Its better to close UPS, if they go like this.
ZERO stars if possible. This is the worst branch of UPS. They never call you back and change the status of your packages regardless of what you request. They’ve have my package for 5 days now and nobody can confirm when I can pick it up bc they are incompetent to deliver it. So aggravated and disgusted.
Drivers delivering in Rego Park and entering buildings are not wearing face masks. If any people should be wary and respectful of customers and their own personal health, it should be every delivery service person on the job. UPS should get on that as soon as possible.
Been waiting for my parcel. It was ordered since 01/22/16. According to the tracking it was suppose to be delivered on 01/28/16 at 20:00 hrs but found a sticker on my door that they miss me and there was an address at fulton where to pick the package up. I went there and was told there was no package. Got a mail next that that parcel was rejected and been returned. Next day Saturday I was ask to go check same place for parcel after talking to amazon but no parcel. Monday again spoke to Amazon and ups but there was no good explanation on the parcel, same day 17:00 hrs got a sticker on my door they have missed me even when I have been told the parcel is been returned back to store. This is quite crazy. Tuesday got an info the package was on transit for delivery. I really cant understand ups. One week is turning to two weeks.
Went here to pick up a held package that spent 1 week bouncing between here and Springfield gardens for some reason. Was 6th in line and waited ~30 minutes. Finding my package took time. But watching the 2 people at the window for pick up, they were both helpful and courteous. Too bad they didnt have more staff to help; line was getting a little long
If there is a zero star, I will do it. I contacted Ups 3times, and it kept saying my address was wrong. How can??? It never happened before!!! I took whole day to wait for the package after my first rescheduled delivery,nobody came! Now I need to spend 1h of train to pick up my heavy package back...
The worst experience, I have ever experienced with a business. It wasnt at all crowded with people. There was about 8 people there, and on time. Their pride comes before customer service. They screamed at foreigners, and treated them horribly. Im not a foreigner but when it came to me. They did not even try to locate my package, even though it said on the computer that it was there. Their first excuse was that my address wasnt on my passport. I I called UPS Customer service on the phone, and they asked to speak to the manager there. I put it on speaker as the UPS phone customer service explained to the security manager at the facility (LLP), after he decided to talk to them and after 30 minutes of refusing, that all I needed was a valid ID with my name on it, which I had. UPS phone customer service pleaded with them to get my package but they simply wouldnt because they didnt know where it was in the facility. At one point it became so obvious that he simply didnt want to get it because customer service (on the phone) kept telling the manager there that what he was saying didnt match her records. He took my phone out of sight and started whispering. Customer service (on the phone) suggested I speak to a supervisor on the phone because it was so ridiculous. Can you imagine? In-fighting in a company? Out of the 8 people that were in line only one person received their package. Unprofessional doesnt even come close to describing it. I saw other customers break down. The security manager, the supervisor and the woman who mounted the computer, should be seriously reprimanded or fired. There is just no way anyone could act like that and still expect a job. Yes post offices can be rude at times its expected but I have never seen anything like this in my life. I dont leave a lot of reviews, but this just has to be done. My fiancé taped the whole ordeal, and we will push till something happens. Beware of this facility. UPS is a good company and I dont think this should reflect poorly on them, but it will if this becomes a trend in their workforce.
Worst experience ever. First, the man with beard at customer service is terribly slow. Neither he knows how to behave nor he has enough knowledge about tracking package. Very poor customer service in all.Second, after speaking to an agent via phone, I was told my package is on hold for pick up. But When i went there (though I was on time) to pick up, he said my package is lost. I dont know who to trust. In either way, i lose hope on my package. I didnt expect such from UPS. UPS sucks!!!
TERRIBLE customer service and system.Was just there for a pick up.No one was there to assist the customers.More than 10 customers had to wait 1 hour on line for pick up.Everyone was disregarding the customers and no one offered for a help.Even though managers were told of this situation, he/she didnt even decide to show up or take an action.This is very unacceptable customer service.Now I know which delivery system I should avoid.
If youve ever had reason to be here, something has gone terribly wrong. The people were friendly enough, if not attentive or particularly interested in their jobs. I went because a package was supposed to be held there... I confirmed with someone on the phone that it would be there. When I arrived, I was told that they couldnt give it to me because it was somewhere in the warehouse. I was like, yeah... arent we in the warehouse now? They said yep. After a few moments of silence they said it was there, but there was no way they could find it. After arriving home, it turned out they had delivered it to my door while I was at the UPS warehouse. Im stopping short of giving it one star, because the people didnt treat me with complete contempt, but also, they werent great at explaining what was going on or at knowing what was going on.
2014 they had 250 employees walk out. Shouldve been fired but union fought and won. Goes to show its a broken system. 5 years since then, service has gotten worse and now they just flat out lie about delivery status. The employees are so full of it now and this facility just goes to show what happens when you give too much empathy and attention to the uneducated and uncivilized individuals. I will be pursuing to have this facility penalized through consumer complaint with the state of New York.
The employees I spoke to concerning a package that was late and because it was medicine, it was important I get my package. I spoke to UPS Employees at 3 different numbers and all of them were useless and I’m no closer the next day to getting my package, and knowing exactly where it is, than I did when I called the first UPS Employee at 12:30 in the afternoon for help! I got the impression they were not listening, and just parroting information and had no intention of helping me resolve my issue! The first employee I spoke to show me someone would call me within an hour to let me know when and how I could pick up my package and no one called until 8:55 PM! To make matters worse the person that I was told would call in an hour didn’t call me until 8:55 PM! They told me the package has not arrived at their location yet! I still do not know where my package is, or exactly when it will be delivered! I was told it was leaving the Maspeth location and headed for their UPS Springfield Boulevard location, and it was the Springfield Boulevard location that called me at 8:55 PM! 8 1/2 hours after I was told left the Maspeth/city Island location-and it hadn’t arrived at the Springfield Boulevard location which is a half hour drive! Where the heck is my package! I paid for second day air and it was obviously driven to New York from the Chicago area from where it came, because they stopped at about 12 different places and my package was scanned at each place, and I don’t think a plane would make that many stops between Chicago and New York City! The employees could care less at the Springfield Boulevard location, and the UPS employee I spoke to the first time, didn’t know what she was talking about, and put information in the system concerning my package that I specifically told her not to! These employees are not representing UPS in a responsible manner! I specifically took off today Wednesday to be here, for the package and I just laid out what happened— I still don’t know what is going on! I yi yi!!!
Dont ever take insurance on your package. They take your money, but when your items come broken, they really give you a hard time to collect. One request from them after another. I sent 27 e-mails and now I have a damage claim form to complete along with my proof of purchase for the items. Never again. FedEx is my next carrier from now on.
UPS is the worse. I have been waiting two days for a package so I can give to guests to a party this Saturday. I was promised it would be delivered on Nov 30. I have been two days now and they still do not deliver. Now the package I am suppose to receive will arrive Monday (2 days after my party). Unbelieveable.
HORRIBLE X2! Theyre rude and very slow. They told me my package was at another location, went there to be told it was not there. Came back here and was told to come back before 9:30, came back to being told that the package is on the truck, and to come back the following day. Came back once again to being told they dont know where the package is! This has got to be the worst of the worst UPS location! And to top it off customer service barely speaks any english!
UPS has the worlds most Unprofessional and horrible service. People should stop using UPS. UPS delivery drivers and ups centers stuffs are real unprofessional. I dont get that how can a big company like UPS have that lowest level of customer service. I have never experienced a smooth delivery for any of UPS delivered item. Always I had to went through horrible painfully experience by this stupid poor customer service. UPS delivery Drivers are irresponsible and unprofessional. Their delivery service is horrible. Ive encountered wasted days requested off, and staying home ALL DAY, to wait for a package set to deliver and then seeing a notification that a delivery was attempted (which was garbage). Meanwhile, I see a UPS truck driver casually driving off never having stepped inside my gate. After contacting customer service immediately, they made up a slew of lies of what the issue was, except that the driver was lazy and just wanted to go home early since it was already past late afternoon.

My parents werent home for the delivery so I called UPS and told them Id like to retrieve the package, they called me back withing 15min and told me to show up at 8pm with an ID. Slower than the DMV if the DMV only had one person doing everything. Lazy employees standing around doing nothing. They walk as slow as damn possible obviously trying to run their time card instead of helping people. And we wouldnt even be here if they knew how to read addresses.
UPS service sucks at the Maspeth Center. I called the 800 number cause I came to the door late and miss the driver. A note said to go to An Access point to pick up my package. I went there and it not suppose to be deliver there till monday. Today is Friday. I give the operator at Maspeth UPS center my tracking number over the phone. He tells me I should show up between 8 pm to 9 pm at the Center . I show up at 8pm. I see someone show them my ID and I wait . Im the last person there 10:15 pm at night and then they tell me a story that it will be delivered to an access point on Monday.. Where is the package now.. They dont know. I wasted over 2 hour for nothing.. It like my fault for listening to what the operator said and the person who check my ID at the center cant tell where my package is but had me wait. Over 2 hour later a manager tells me my package is not there. he tries to give me false info to tell me its my fault. I check the UPS website. I was there 8 pm and at 8:49 it was reschedule to be deliver to the Access point. The manager was slow to understand that this was a waste of my Friday night. The manager tried to blame me first changing the time line. Horrible customer service.
Worst delivery service I have ever encountered. My package was suppose to arrive on friday (ordered with 1 day delivery on Amazon), they told me the address was wrong. I had packages delivered at this exact place multiple times through other carriers, Amazon refunded me and said they would deliver it on Monday morning instead. On Monday UPS called me to say it was impossible to deliver it Honey it is impossible to deliver it today (I live a 10 minute drive from them). Worst service ever, a disgrace.
Dont go to this location to ship item or drop off, the pick up wait time is 30 minutes to 1hr, the employee and supervisor running this location is by his attitude not professional, i just try to send out a express envelop with keys inside the employee will tell you : no, you can not send keys with this express envelop, the express envelop only for document, even you talk to the supervisor there his is getting the same answer with his attitude. that is BS , because behind the express envelop tell you for Domestic shipments is urgent document, and or electronic media, over 8oz it just extra charge. It end out I have to go to other UPS location to drop off, if you dont want then to mess up you day go some where else.
This place should just close for good. My Package is nowhere to be found. The tracking keeps changing every day saying OUT FOR DELIVERY TODAY Just to change again at night time to delayed. I asked the hub to look for my package and they said they have over 400 packages and they cannot look for it. Total JOKE!
Ive been picking up packages here for about 5 years, and Ive had mixed experiences that lean towards bad. The hours are confusing, as they are open for pick ups until 6:30, then they close, then they re-open at 8pm for people who wanted same day pick up. Ive gone in during both windows and have been there less than 10 minutes and more than 2 hours. Employees have ranged from excellent, quickly going through customers and retrieving package after package successfully, to atrocious with groups of employees standing around chatting for a long time before one breaks off to help a customer.My most recent experience involved an attentive employee who, after searching for a half hour, informed me that my package must have been damaged or lost. He was unable to help beyond that, saying Id have to take it up with the shipper or with UPS customer service. I left and received a call from the depot shortly after saying they had in fact found my package. I returned after the 6:30pm closing but fortunately an employee recognized me and, after shooing away other people who thought they could pick up packages during the closed period, got me my package.If you can redirect a package anywhere else (UPS store, work, neighbor) then do so.
Terrible so far. The carrier checked off every box on the notice he left on my door, including this first attempt was the final delivery. When calling you are offered the choice, do you want to pick up your parcel? but no prior information about where you need to go. You have to blindly agree before even knowing if you have to go to Alaska to get it. The promised call back did come but I was misinformed. I was told my item was in the building and that I could come and get it. I went all the way out to the most remote part of New York City only to be informed that my item was still on the truck. So far, I wasted over two hours. I need to return later this evening. I cant wait to see whats next.
This UPS center is the worst! I hate the fact that lady foot locker uses their services. I have to travel all around town to just pick up my package, thst they claimed was delivered today. Furthermore, my package still hasnt reached UPS in Maspeth, NY.which was changed by Lady Foot Locker. I was supppse to receive a call back today from UPS to pick up my package, and I still havent received a call back.
Ordered a packaged last friday, chose 2 day shipping at checkout. was supposed to be here tuesday 2/14/17, it is now friday 2/17/17 and all the tracking info i have is that its been delayed @ the maspeth,NY location. i havent had a single status update on my package in 3 days and its late after i payed more money specifically to have it here quicker than usual. The customer service help line is not helpful at all, they just told me what i already knew about my package which was that its delayed. UPS is slowly becoming the WORST shipping company ever. they hire the worst people, they dont care about their employees, they over work them so the employees dont care about their jobs. thanks alot UPS, youre a useless service that should follow suit w/ the rest of the world economy and just die off already.
I wait my package yesterday, wait from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. But i got message that the ups made 3:45 pm n miss. Without left any notice at my door. But to day there other ups man show up n i got package. To day i wait start 1pm to 4. Lucky i meet him at out side corner. So not skip again. Well, myb ups can upgrade the system so ppl not waste time wait the package without knowing when coming. At least 2 hrs in between is better than any time but don’t know which any time.This the second time i get my package by ups, but this time am not miss delivery. It’s not easy too for them when they come to our plc but we not there. At least this time i know when the truck will stop around neighborhood, so am not waste much time wait for them. Basically the truck will stop at few spot n the time mostly not much difference.
I cant believe that service is that bad even though i have heard that many time. There is discrimination going on in that office. I think UPS should look into the problem, there is no reason the place got horrible reviews. I wish i could give negative star too if i can. Especial the supervisor Paul Abruzzle. I will write email to UPS to report the incident.
This place is literal HELL ON EARTH. Waited for 2 and a half hours in line as they served one customer every 10 minutes, only to have them not let me pick up my package while I had a government ID and digital copies of my lease and cable bill that matched my delivery address!!! They only accept printed documents for proof of address, and while they have a printer there they do not let anyone use it. Come here prepared to have the life sucked out of you.
I ask before delivery just call me they come put sticker on my door they didn’t call me . They go back then I call them but they are not ready to deliver back my package. There is always an issue every time I try to pickup a package here. It seems that when to call the 1 800 number to hold your package at the facility you will have to wait at 24 hours from the moment you made the phone call until you get your package back. They are closed on weekends, which makes even more difficult for all us that work during the weekdays. Also, there is always a long waiting time when you are trying to pick up a package, I mean at least a 30 mins wait. The staff member are really rude and always with some kind of attitude. But what made me write this review is that one day I went there to pick up a package at 4:00 PM and obviously the package was still in the truck, I decided to come back the next day at 6:00PM, and they did not allowed me to get in the facility, they told me that I had to come back at 7:00PM, and of course when I got there there was a line of at least 20 people.If my online stores could give me a different delivering option I would avoid using UPS, I would rather USPS.
The drivers, on numerous occasions, dont even come to my house but put on the tracking that no one was home. Then I have to drive to the damn warehouse to pick it up myself! Ive complained maybe 8 different times in the last year. I even called their corporate HQ and still no improvement. I wish I had an option of which carrier should Amazon use to deliver my stuff. Ups, especially Maspeth, has got to be the most incompetent and sub par service Ive ever experienced. I wish they get investigated from top to bottom. Fire the management department and hire a new fleet of employees.USPS never fails. I wish I had this choice.

Yeah, so I can confirm that this place is indeed as bad as the reviews described. Arrived there a little pass 9a, the line had 6 ahead of me. By 10a I was still on line and behind me were 20+ going outside the building. The setup doesnt even make sense. They have one person managing the pickup line, and 2-3 handling sales. Yet, the sales line didnt grow to more than 1 person. Seems like effort is placed in the wrong place.So, yeah - be ready to leave in a bad mood if you are forced to hit this place up.
Yeah.. I dont know if the people giving 2-5 stars are people who work at this office or theyre people who work at this office.... No typo there. There should be a negative amount in stars. Im just saying, their service is really bad. Theyre not kind. I assume they hate their lives and jobs with a passion to be this rude to others. Avoid them at all costs. Im begging you. UPS really sucks... Even USPS is better.

2022-07-09Where can I start with the UPS experience…the driver didn’t try to deliver the package, didn’t bother to leave a notice. You know you have to pick up the package yourself otherwise it’ll never be delivered. You come to this facility with 5 month pregnant belly on the clock but you have to wait on the street, cannot sit on those benches they installed near the customer service because it gives them a hard on to follow their inhumane rules. Good luck picking up your package that might have been stolen by the drivers already✌️

2022-05-28My package was stolen today… Thanks for ruining my birthday. That’s something I got for myself, knowing it was going to be my only gift. This product was $600+. The driver came left the small packages for other people at my residence and didn’t ring the bell today (every other day he does, and even forged my signature that it was delivered). I waited for this package and looked outside. The UPS driver thief didn’t even make the truck park on the block and just drop the small packages and ran. Shame that someone could do this. Looking at other reviews it seems like I will never get this package and on top of it all, They can’t just send me another one because of its low in restock by SONY. Karma has its ways though, I’ll get over it.

2022-06-14My fresh plants were supposed to be delivered inthree days but they delayed it by two additional days when the temperatures hit 80s. These plants were ruined. They even took out the ice that was used to protect their freshness. All the vendors should stop UPS because they are the worst

2022-02-10UPS truck drivers are thieves. Got an alert from UPS saying my package was delivered and left at my front door. Got home from work no package in sight. Ask neighbors if they’ve seen this package they say no. Building manager checks the security cameras…UPS driver never got out of the truck but said he delivered the package….

2022-04-25One of the worst work force and route drivers Ive experienced and seen them all . Take pride in your work. Management needs to step up and reprimand its work force. Disgusting . Ups your not the world leader in anything no more . Amazon is. Gonna make sure all my packages come through Amazon.

2021-12-21These people are the worst!!! Here at UPS address is 4215 Boston Rd Bronx NY - They constantly claim that packages are lost .. When they have it there in that exact facility these people are thieves , I don’t understand how these people are still in business 🤬

2022-06-07The new frontwoman, Bexi is extremely rude and she spoke racist comment toward Chinese people. I have been going to this UPS for more than 7 years and this kind of issue never happened before. All the other people in the front are very nice and kind.

2022-05-16Absolutely terrible staff. Never met someone more than the guy at the pick up window. Replace all of them with people who at least put a little effort be nice and useful.
