Upscale did a marvelous job of upgrading and screening in the front porch on our 100-year old house, transforming it from a little-used area to a wonderful “room” where we spent most of the summer. Steves design, which he developed with Rob of Stream Engineering, functions superbly and looks beautiful. Scott, Rich and Dylan’s workmanship in building the porch was exceptional. They carefully assessed the bones of the porch and then improved the structure so that it will last a lifetime, and their craftsmanship on the moldings and a structure to support a surrounding wisteria was excellent. The folks from Upscale did a wonderful job that has improved our lives and will see our home through its next 100 years.

Upscale Remodeling did detailed preparation work necessary for another installation by someone else. They are an incredible set of people to work with. From the first step which was scoping out the job, through to the proposal to the detailed work and the cleanup and finish they were amazing. Stephen answered any overall questions I had and Josh who ran the day to day work on the job kept us aware of what was going on. There were no hiccups at all. I felt that they 1) did what they said they would do 2) in the time frame they gave me and 3) for the price they quoted. They understand their business and are sensitive to being in someone elses house. I felt they went beyond what I expected. For me the highest praise is that someone does what he says he will do. In my future they are my go to place for remodeling and construction work. Thanks.

Our remodeling project with Upscale was large and complex with many structural questions that had to be solved on the fly. Throughout the process, we were impressed with the professionalism of all involved, the very obvious commitment to quality, the creative design assistance provided, and the high quality of the finished products. Any questions we had and any minor fixes that were needed were addressed quickly and effectively. We stayed in our home throughout the process and enjoyed having all involved in our home. Upscale is a top notch, professional organization producing fine results.

“Upscale Remodeling did two jobs for us. The first involved an innovative design solution to a 20 year old stairway problem in our house. The second was a major addition that included a master suite, laundry room, breakfast room, deck and workshop. Each project started with patient listening, suggestions and more listening so that Steve knew what we wanted and we thoroughly understood all the options to achieve our goals. My wife and I are familiar with wood working and construction. As each project proceeded, we were amazed at the quality of the workmanship and refusal to cut corners. The crew were friendly, professional and went out of their way to make the project as least intrusive as possible. Both projects ended with high value products meeting all of our expectations at a reasonable final cost. We were left with the feeling that satisfied customers and quality work are more important to Steve Nash than making money. Upscale Remodeling has done it again! This is our fourth project with Upscale and each one has been exactly as we envisioned. We love our newly remodeled kitchen. We absolutely couldn’t be happier. The quality of the materials is stellar and the craftsmanship can’t be beat. The new showroom is terrific. Seeing actual displays made our decision-making process simple. Lydia and the rest of the crew were always there to help and answer any questions that came up. Rich made sure that there was as little interruption as possible and always left everything clean and orderly at the end of the day.Recently they replaced our very outdated cement front entrance with a beautiful Brazilian walnut porch. We have had strangers stop to admire it. It’s so nice I don’t even like to walk on it.If you are looking for a truly honest contractor we highly recommend Upscale Remodeling. We have worked with Upscale Remodeling for several major home renovations including window replacements and down-to-the-studs bathroom and kitchen remodels. We found ourselves in the middle of a kitchen remodel that was not going well. Upscale stepped in, assessed the situation, provided a detailed description of the scope of the project and talked us through every phase. They were courteous, respectful and always communicated in a timely manner. Suggestions were offered when we were unsure as how we wanted to proceed. They were gracious to work with others we had previously hired to provide electrical etc. Our disaster turned into a dream kitchen. Everyone we dealt with knew their role/craft. We highly recommend them for any size project!

A decade ago, Steve Nash and his Upscale Remodeling carpenters replaced all the windows and exterior doors of our 1936 stucco house. Every aspect of the project was on such a professional level that two years ago we hired Steve without any hesitation to completely remodel the kitchen and a bathroom. As before, Upscale’s work was superb.This house had numerous surprises lurking under floors and behind walls during this latest project, and as each was discovered, Upscale immediately explained the situation and we’d discuss the options until we were satisfied of the best one. We never worried they might discover a problem and quietly cover it up. Steve and his carpenters take great pride in their work, and we know that future owners of this house will enjoy and be as grateful for the quality of Upscale’s work as we are now.
