Terrible, I made an appointment for 12:15p and arrived at 11:40a; I was told the wait time may not be true to appointment times so I left my name and number because the receptionist said they would call me being that the waiting room and hallway had people lined up; I sat in my car until 1:07p which is when I decided to go check, only to find out I had been skipped. If you are looking for good service, this isn’t the place for you.
Trash. Called to get Covid results. Waited on hold for 25 minutes. You are caller #21…. #20…. #19…. Until it was my turn. When it was, the automation told me no one could answer and that their mailbox was full. How is that possible? And this is a healthcare business? And yes, I called during business hours. Go to a more reputable establishment.
I need a Covid-19 test and couldn’t book an appointment online so I called their number and was talking to this lady about my issues.once a mentioned a Covid-19 test she said hold on and hang up.I started a chat option but couldn’t get any help.this is so unprofessional . I tried to call back and stay online for almost 30 minutes listen to you are a caller number 26 25 19 and ended up hanging up on me.this is the worst feeling
Called to schedule a rapid covid test. Was told to do it on the website. Scheduled for RAPID test on website.Went in for appointmentWait time = 1.5 hoursTheir excuse? Oh, weve been calling your name, you must not have heard us- no, thats complete BS. they forgot. Then at the end we ask when the results are coming they say 1-3 days. But I scheduled a rapid test, which gets results in an hour. Done this many times elsewhere. They did the wrong tests and now we have to wait longer for results.Incompetent people working here.Do not recommend at all.
I did quick Google search for COVID testing and other medical stuff. I came across Urgent Way and saw that they had a location near me ( Westchester Avenue.) walked in to make an appiontment and was able to be seen withing the hour. The lady at the front desk was very polite and professional. The young lady who took my blood and listened to my concerns, was the sweetest, kindest, professional, understanding, and kind. She really helped to ease me anxiety. The Doctor was very to point and flat but she was nice as well. All and All I had a great experience in this office. If I ever need another place to go to if I cant make it to my primary, I would forsure return to this office.JussJess
I setup an appointment online for 9:30am for the $150 out of pocket Covid CPR text for an upcoming International emergency family trip at 10:45pm. I patiently waited over ONE HOUR to take that test, even after being mistreated by a careless front desk clerk, that could not even be bothered to ask the reason for my visit and just told me to “sign your name here and wait” only to find out around 10:45am from the super nice nurse (5 stars to him) that I would only get the results next day. Anyway, such a waste of time - And sad that they advertise for a service that they do not provide.
Very pleased with your services and the ease of making an appointment. My wait was minimal, and the individual administering the test was friendly and thorough. He took all precautions, prior to administering the test and assisted us with sending us our links to access our results.
Place is a joke. You schedule an appointment for a simple Covid test that takes minutes, but have to wait behind walk-ins here for various other reasons. Landed up walking out without have the test done. I’m an understanding person, but to possibly wait hours for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable. Wish I would have read reviews before scheduling an appointment. Why schedule an appointment if it doesn’t matter when you have to wait behind walk-ins.Had faster and better service at one of the city hospital testing locations and other Urgent Care locations. Never again. The place could be cleaner and the staff could have better attitudes. Plus the social distancing should be enforced better. My advice go to a city hospital testing location or another Urgent Care type facility.
Great service from their staff. Clean and very welcoming environment. After a possible exposure I had to find a testing center close to my house. They were nearby. Night before I scheduled the appointment. Went there 9:00am and everything was done by 10:15am. I got my result (negative) next day through their patient portal. Made the right decision picking this place. Will go back again. Highly recommend.
I waited over 2 hours even though I had an appointment. The lobby was clean and inviting. The receptionists were not wearing masks properly; one wore it under her nose and the other woman barely had over her mouth, it was loose and dangling. A man came in and said he had covid symptoms and they had him sit in the lobby with the other people.Once seen by the medical staff, he was very friendly and explained everything and the rest was quick and relatively painless. I received my results in 2 days.
Went to Urgent way at Middletown to do my covid test 03/01/2021 and it was very speedy. The lady who did my swab was extremely friendly. She told me about the procedure before doing it. Also she made me feel very comfortable doing it. She spoke to me in a manner that my nervousness was gone within seconds. I highly recommend this facility and definitely will be scheduling my next appointment there . Thanks
This was a very good experience all around. There was just about no wait time. Not a crowded space at all but well lit and spacious. The staff was extremely professional. I witnessed the person ahead of me being difficult for no reason at all. The staff stayed professional with him and didn’t let his behavior carry over to their next interactions mine included. Doc/nurse was very cool too. No uneasiness or nervousness dealing with the many challenges that COVID is presenting. Will definitely come back here if needed.
When I first went to this place, I loved it. It was clean and the people were so kind, so I decided to stay with them!Last time I went there I went for a covid test which is free in most of the country and I was charged 150 + 250 of laboratory charge!I will never go back to this place again!
Me and my wife had an appointment we waited for a short time we made the test the guy is professional, the result came the next day .We talk to the doctor she is like the member of our family and treated us by curing in the record time with her prescription. Thanks to all the staff we are now back at work without any complications. Thanks to all of you!
This is my 2nd times as a walk in and in both occasions my experience were great. During quarantine, I was a little reluctant. I was in need of care and didn’t want to travel the subways to go into Manhattan. Waiting area was clean. Reception gentleman was polite and professional. I was lucky. Wait time was 15-20 minutes. The doctor that took care of me was wonderful. Very pleasant and attentive. I would definitely recommend this location. Thank you for being great essential workers with positive vibes during such difficult times.
Stunning Service!!! I have been here twice for my Covid test because of voyaging and front work area is THE BEST ! As a secretary myself I know great help and awful when I see it and these young ladies hold it down with those calls while giving incredible costumer administration forthright in office . Much thanks to You Toby, Medical attendants where fabulous and test went smooth .Best for Covid Testing Amazing Job thumbs up.
Decent service when I was there but impossible to get in contact with them on the phone. They keep you on hold for what seems like forever. I was next to speak to a rep and it disconnected me and had to do it all over again. If you need lab results do not call. You might as well go back and get them in person.
WORSE PLACE TO TRY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES, NOT ONCE NOT TWICE, SEVERAL TIMES, AND EACH TIME, AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM WILL TELL YOU WHAT NUMBER CALLER YOU ARE AND HOW MANY MORE MINUTES YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR CALL TO BE ANSWERED. BE AWARE…..YOUR CALL WILL NEVER BE ANSWERED!!!YOU WILL BE DIRECTED STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE LESS THAN A STAR, I DEFINITELY WOULD!!!!!
My first experience was horrible!!The fact that I had to make an appointment to be seen and still wait almost an hour in a windowless room filled with possible covid patients drove my anxiety up. Then, when I was finally called I watched the nurse click no to questions she didnt even ask me.For example... Yes maam I did have surgery 10 years ago and 3 weeks prior to the day you saw me. But you clicked no because you didnt ask me.Ive also gotten tested many times before (due to my job) and not once did they ever tell me I would have to call them to get my results. They always said they would email me MY PROOF.Then make it worse when I do call to get my results I was on hold for 56 mins!Very unprofessional and I will never return or send others here. You gotta do better
I had an appointment for a covid test. When I got there 10 minutes early I was told thered be a 45 minute wait. 45 minutes later, I was told I would have to wait another 45 minutes. I finally got called in after 3 hours of waiting. The doctor was incredibly friendly, though not very efficient. I was told the results for my PCR test would we available in 2-3 days. 2 days after my test I received an email to set up a portal, the portal had no results. I called each day after that and wasnt able to get a hold of anyone at the center. Eventually, 6 days after my test, someone finally picked up my call and told me I was negative. Horrible process, getting the test and getting results.
This was my husbands first visit to an urgent care and he was really surprised on the attentiveness of the staff. The intake nurse is a beautiful soul and was very caring. The receptionist was very friendly. The doctor was good and also very caring and thorough. I would highly recommend this location. We would definitely come back! This is our place
Definitely recommend this urgent care facility! I walked into the office to be greeted by a friendly and informative receptionist. It was very helpful that the medical assistant was patient with me and explained exactly what she was doing in terms of my vitals. Moreover, I was seen by the provider within ten minutes. The provider was compassionate and diligent. I left satisfied with all of my concerns addressed.
Do not go here unless you’re comfortable potentially getting covid! I made an appointment for a covid rapid test - I had several symptoms, felt terrible and was sure I was positive (spoiler alert- I tested positive). They put everyone in the same waiting room, regardless of why you are there. There was only one seat between people waiting, absolutely not 6 feet - barely 2 feet. I waited over an hour and a half, even though I made an appointment. Waiting room seats were not cleaned during my time there, even though many patients came in and out. And to top it off, the hand sanitizer was out of service! If I didn’t already have covid, I certainly would have gotten it from there. Do better Urgent Way.. we’re still in a pandemic, act like it.
I thought the waiting room area in a time of Covid was not ideal. 6FT apart was not a thing, multiple people were coughing. There were two rooms but one was almost full with only a seat away from other people. I did not see anyone actively wiping the seats either. There was also a hand sanitizer dispenser that was out of order. I also had to call to get my results because they were not posted to the portal. Even after calling, here we are a day later and they are still not posted on the portal.
Amazing Service!!! I have been here twice for my Covid test due to traveling and front desk is THE BEST ! As a receptionist myself I know good service and bad when I see it and these girls hold it down with those phone calls while giving great costumer service upfront in office . Thank You Toby, Vanessa and Enais !! Nurses where fantastic and test went smooth .
Great experience at this urgent care! Quick and efficient! The staff is very friendly and courteous and the level of care is extremely exceptional. The front desk girl Adarsh is very quick and knowledgeable. She had me in to see the medical assistant within minutes who made me feel very comfortable. The Provider helped me with all my needs.Amazing service, def recommend!!
My employer uses them when there are situations that require their employees to get COVID tests. A situation happened in late September where I had to take 2 COVID tests in a 2 week period (both negative thank goodness). The first time I went to an urgent care center near where I live in Westchester and the results took 4 days, which was almost a problem. So for the 2nd test I was told to get it there. It was very empty in the waiting room and they took me right away. What was really impressive (and my coworkers confirmed this for them as well) is I got results on the nasal swab PCR test the next day!The reason I do not give them a 5 is parking is not easy (have to remember it is deep in the Bronx though!) and to be honest I flinched quite a bit while they were trying to test me as I very much felt the nasal swab in my nose and had some minor pain afterwards for several days. The person taking it insisted that its just part of the process but I didnt feel it at all at the other place I went to for the first test (nor did other family members who went to that place for tests) and the woman giving the test admitted I wasnt the only one who complained about this. One reason I loathe getting COVID tested is fear that it will hurt like this and despite seeing Gov. Cuomo get one on TV without flinching this did not help my feelings on that.I have recommended them to friends and family who need quick results on a non-rapid test but caution them of this.UPDATE 12/26/2020: My job wants everyone to take a COVID test again before returning in January and of course suggested this place. While I was hesitant to go there, almost all of my other alternatives involved waiting for up to 4 hours on an outdoor line in the cold or in my car, usually very early in the morning. I called them and they said if I made an appointment they assured me I wouldnt wait there much over an hour and that the parking lot would be available so I made an appt.Regarding some recent comments about crowds, it appears they let up to 6 people spaced every other seat in the waiting room, then you have to wait in your car (if you came that way) or the downstairs lobby and they will call you. They were wrong about the parking lot and I had to find a street space about 3 blocks away that I wasnt sure was legal and worried about my entire wait. And when I pressed to be buzzed into the building no one responded and I had to buzz another business to get in who said they were annoyed but we understand this happens a lot. I and two others who had waited over an hour with no movement in people being let into a room for COVID testing started to complain that we were promised a 1 hour wait or less (in fact when I got there I was assured it would be only 30 minutes) and their response was, well you are lucky, recently people had 3 hour waits, dont you know whats going on out there?. I pointed out I had alternatives closer to home with much better parking and came to them because they assured me I wouldnt wait 3 hours there. However, to be fair, right after that they started letting people into rooms for testing pretty quickly and I only waited another 15 minutes so it was definitely a faster deal than the horror stories I have been hearing from others going to other places. And while I still quite felt it again it was nowhere near as bad an experience with that the last visit (i.e. it did not hurt afterwards). So I will still recommend right now for people needing a test.
Definitely will be returning to this facility, walked into the door to a bright and welcoming face. The front desk girl very quickly registered me, and i was taken back for my vitals. Provider was also very attentive to my concerns. Very quick efficient services with great friendly staff. Came to this office as it was nearby my work.. was in and out of the office in 45 minutes. Really recommend this place!
I am really disappointed with their service. Its been more than 5 days ago that I did my COVID test, but still didnt get my result, where other places giving result in 1-2 days. Even in the testing day, they kept me waiting for more than an hour to do the test though I had a reservation. Since then I have been calling everyday to get the result while I am still sick, but they cant even tell me when I might get the result and they keep on putting me on a long hold. One day someone even hung up on me. As I work for a Healthcare setting, I asked for a letter for my work mentioning the delay, but they didnt even provide that. If anyone is planning for COVID Testing, please go to some other facility.
I scheduled an appointment to be tested for Covid-19. I arrived on time but had to wait just to check in. Workers not very friendly. Then I was told to wait outside the building until they called me on the phone, which was 45 minutes later. The waiting room was very full, not adequate distancing. If you didnt have Covid when you came in, good chance you got it on the way out. Apparently, making an appointment did not really work out. They know how to make the appointment but not how to keep the appointment.
Office is very clean and staff is friendly. I made an appointment and when I arrived there were others that arrived before their scheduled time. I was glad that they made those people wait for their scheduled time. Also, due to Covid they asked people to wait outside for their schedule time. Will be testing there again if ever needed. Thanks
What a horrible experience. Waiting over an hour for a test. Okay whatever it happens between paperwork and what not. What did me in was the lack of social distancing in a medical facility. Oh and someone should remind the receptionist your mask is supposed to go above your nose(a little advice from another essential worker). And dont give me the whole oh we cant help if its crowded...then dont overbook appointments. Theres like 12 people in a room made for 6 and you cant predict the outcome that when the numbers of cases go up verses the average maximum time a person will wait for insurance to clear etc. This isnt a walk in center mind you. This was pure unprofessionalism. I might have gotten COVID just for going in.
Like a President. I called to make appt to get a covid antibodies blood test and was seen immediately. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Notice of the results arrived by text and email within the promised 48 hrs. And I got a call from medical staff either that same day or the following to go over the result. Presidential service from everyone. Wow. Thank you!
After having no other option but to request a COVID-19 Test from this medical center, I have used the lack of customer service as an indicator to not seek medical care from this center. Issues experienced include the inability to get a hold of someone, hanging up the phone after an incredible amount of time spent on hold, and just an overall attitude. Would not recommend and will avoid at all costs.
I’ve been here a few times and I always have a good experience. Lisa the woman at the desk is extremely helpful even though she’s obviously busy. Dr. Morrine & Dr. Rana are great and friendly. And the nurse, he’s awesome too. Thanks for never disappointing me when I need you!
My daughter have appointment at 10:45 for COVID test, they wouldn’t allow me to stay with her because there is not enough room. Now it’s 12:30, the room is almost empty my daughter ask the lady at the desk she said they forgot that my daughter is waiting. Suppose to be done in 15 minute as said on website. Very bad service!! Nothing else to say. My last time!!
I walked in today at around 10:20 this morning... as soon as I walked I was greeted with a smile and a good morning by 2 young ladies. That made me feel very comfortable, both ladies were very polite. The doctor however didn’t look too happy to be there. When I told him why I was there for he looked in my ear and said he would try to remove the earwax but that he can’t guarantee all of the earwax will be removed. He wasn’t rude but he wasn’t very talkative and that worried me. He did however asked me a couple of times if I was okay. Well I can tell you that he did do the best he could and I’m grateful for that but it would have been nice to get a smile from his end and just a little more input from his end. This does make a difference especially with people like me that has anxiety every time we go to the doctor. I also noticed he didn’t introduce himself properly at all. Other than that the experience was ok. Thank you to the nurse and secretary, your warm welcome meant the world to me.
Went there pretty late last week to have my son seen while we visited NY. They are open pretty late, which worked out for us. The doctor was very attentive and thorough and spent a lot of time on him. The lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with the prescription/insurance coverage which i appreciated. The nurse that called us was so good with him that she calmed my son when he was nervous. Thank you so much for your professional service. I was in and out within about 45 minutes. One of the better experiences Ive had with the medical system. I will be returning when in the area.
They made me sit in a waiting room for 2 hours past my scheduled appointment and when I got tired and asked when I would be seen, fromt desk lady had no idea. I’m tired of wasting my time on places that don’t even care. You can’t call yourself URGENTWay if you’re going to make your patients wait for hours thinking that you remember their appointment. Also, I gave them my insurance card and they took it. Weeks after I already had my appointment, they have the nerve to call and say the insurance doesn’t go through and I have to pay out of pocket. EXCUSE ME? You didn’t want to tell me that when I first got there? Now I don’t have a choice but to pay because I was already seen. I can’t afford paying out of pocket everytime! They don’t understand that people in this world have places to be so they cant just rot away in the waiting room for hours. They don’t understand that not everyone is rich enough to be paying out of pocket every visit. They cheated me for my money and cheated my time. Never again.
I have been dealing with health issues for quite some time and the young ladies behind the counter and document your issues have been friendly, courteous and helpful. All the doctors that I have treated me are patient, caring and genuinely care for your health and continued prognosis.Thank you all for your compassionate and helpful friendly attention.I strongly recommend that if youre not feeling well then drop by here and let them care for you.It is worth your health to stop by and be treated by these professionals A.S.A.P.The new staff are great, Janelly, Lisa and the other young lady who sees me before the doctors do always treat me well. I appreciate that they are working at the Bronx location.
First time there, worst experience I ever had. I was told when I called that I can make an appointment which was not trueAfter waiting ONE hour no patient was called and now is when I questioned what happened to my appointment, the front end girl stated we dont go by appointment. I was not the only person upset. There were other patients that were giving an appointment. $50.00 was charged to my debit card. When asked when will I get my credit back. Her answer was I DONT KNOW. That is definitely not the way to treat people. Training on customer service is definitely needed.
DO NOT, DO NOT schedule Covid 19 testing at this location!!!!!Save time and go somewhere else!!!They pretend to do appointments but thats just for a sake of a appointment. Ridiculous!! They run on there own schedule,,20 people waiting in a packed 2 rooms,,,,,WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!DO NOT GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Very reliable, sufficient and excellent well rounded oriented servince and consulting. The staff here were absolutely nice, welcoming friendly and attentive from the front desk to the Doctor. My visit was very detailed and well instructed. The doctor here at Urgent Way really knows their stuff. Lasted no more than 30 minutes. Highly recommended! A+++++ 👍🏻
My first response would be WOW. After calling UrgentWay the first voice I heard was very kind and receptive to answering any question that I had. I was told to bring in my daughter and when we arrived we were greeted by very friendly faces and the whole process was smooth and we did not wait long at all. It was well lit and very clean. When my daughter was seen by the physician she asked questions and listened to any complaints we had. I didnt feel rushed. The physician took her time with us. It was a very pleasant experience. Not only would I recommend UrgentWay but I will definitely return. I would be back one day just to thank them.
I made an appt for 6 i called at 445 to confirm the person at the clinic told me im all set for 6. I came in at 530 then she tells me that i dont have an appt and that she doesnt see one for me and that i would have to wait and that theres is plenty on people waiting to get seen. She works behind the desk with her mask on her chin and talks on the phone i know everything about her husband upcoming operation so dont waste your time
The staff here is very down to earth and friendly. I rarely ever visit doctors offices so when i do go i dread it. The receptionist was very thorough and helpful in explaining my copay/deductible and how my insurance works. Also, I felt comfortable confiding in the nurse and the doctor throughout my visit. Finally, pretty cool theyre giving out Urgentway keychains - thought that was pretty cute. Think ill keep one so I remember to come here next time.
My daughter who is 5 years old wasn’t feeling well on Saturday. Without any delay, I took my daughter to the nearest UrgentWay Bronx Center. I liked the way they treated my daughter and examined her one to all.The paramedics were extremely professional and friendly. Within half an hour my daughter was given due medical treatment. I would definitely consider visiting UrgentWay in the future as well.
I used this place for an immigration physical for a family member. I was told on the phone by the doctor that it would cost me $250 plus no more than $80 for the lab fee. I received a bill from the lab for $510. I called urgent way about 15 times before I finally got someone to speak to me about this. They told me I should have gotten 70% off which was their discount and they would fix it. 70% off was still not $80 or less but I would have taken it. I got a new bill from the lab for $260 which was roughly 50% off. I left a bad review on google claiming they had hidden fees. I was contacted by management assuring me that they would fix the problem and that I should delete my bad review. I believed her and deleted it. Its been about a month now and I still have the same bill from Sunrise labs for $260. So if youre planning on getting an immigration physical be prepared to pay over $500, not what they claim to charge. They claim no hidden fees on their website. That is a lie. I assure you this review will not be deleted for any reason.
UrgentWay is an excellent space for patients who want support and care in a timely fashion. I had one of the best first impressions of this place after returning home from a year-long stint abroad. I found a doctor on Zocdoc (I recommend using the site to book health care appointments) and in less than 24 hours, I was in the office receiving advice on how to approach losing all the unwanted weight Ive gained. The facility is clean, easy to reach via public transportation and I didnt wait more than five minutes to be seen. Star UrgentWay as a desirable place of practice because they will not disappoint.
I schedule an appointment for a Covid test that takes minutes, but I waited a whole hour. Why schedule an appointment if it doesn’t matter? Plus the social distancing should be enforced in the waiting area. I went to the location in Manhattan and I had a goos experience, I don’t recommend this location at all !
BEWARE PATIENT PORTAL MAYBE COMPROMISED AND DATA MAY HAVE BEEN BREACHED. I received an email at 2:40am that my password was reset. I never put in a request to reset my password. I called customer service spoke with Sam. Sam was rude and dismissive. His response was this is a glitch in the system. This was an unacceptable response, to a patient whose medical records may have been compromised. Sam never extended himself to followup and find out why this happened. Sam is the customer service supervisor if a supervisor is rude and dismissive to the patient can you imagine the subordinates training. I requested to speak with Adam, because my family has dealt with him in the past. His response was Im(the Im referring to me as the patient) not understanding him and my request for password reset came through late. I never requested a password change. He was not understanding me and my concern is my password was reset, without my request. I asked for the headquarters to write Adam gave me the email address for information. Info.urgentway.com. I asked where he was located he replied upstate Urgentway does not have offices upstate. So Adam lied what are they trying to coverup. They are not good for communicating and understanding patients. How hard is it to understand I never requested a password reset and for Urgentway to investigate why this happened.SEE BELOW RESPONSE TO A POSSIBILITY DATA BREACH OF MEDICAL INFORMATION. THERES NOTHING ABOUT ANYONE CONTACTING ME TO GIVE AN EXPLANATION. OTHER REVIEWS SAYS HOW THEY HANG HO ON PEOPLE AND ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THE BELOW RESPONSE IS A CLEAR INDICATION THAT THEY COULD CARELESS ABOUT PATIENTS CONCERNS.
One of my best experience i have had in an urgent care. I called aroung 6:30pm and the young lady that answered the phone told me that there was nobody there so i said i will be right over when i got there there was 2 people which i expected a long wait, the young lady registred me quickly and said if i had just called and she said sorry that when i called there was noone in the office which i understand due to the fact that it a walk in clinic she then took me next she her self took my vitals as the MA took the other patient wait time from in and out was less than 25 mins with seeing the doctor!! i will come back when ever i need a doctor ASAP and the young ladies that were there was Lisa,Daniella and PA Sonia they were all sweet. recommand this place anytime!!
Horrible experience been waiting since 1:00 pm and they just checked me in around 3:00 pm and I still havent seen anyone. My appointment was for 1:15 pm other patients came after me but left before me just a shame that they have no system and very unorganized.i will never come back here again
My first time at this urgent care. When i walked in the waiting room was full of patients in my head i thought i would have been there a long time but when i walked in i was greeted by a nu e young lady ahe took my insurance and ID and gave me the paper work and explained what i needed to fill out. Once i gave in my paper work i sat down, thinki g i was going to wait long another young lady that was sitting at front desk started calling patients she then called 2 patients in and when i was dis not realize i was calles in sooner than expected i qaa triaged by her and she was really nice the provider then came in and took me right away. I was pleased with the service o went and asked what her name was because she was so nice she sais her name was Lisa and that ahe was site manager and if she said if i had any questions i could always call her with my questions and concerns and that she will contact me with my results in a few days. I will definitively return to this office and recommend yhis place to my family and friends.
It’s too many patients in the waiting area and they are not following guidelines. The sign says no more than 6 people inside and there’s no social distancing in place. There should be chairs outside the waiting area. There shouldn’t be mixing of people getting covid testing and regular patients there should be a system in place where the mingling of other patients and covid-19 patients aren’t intertwined. I walked out of there and don’t plan on returning.
I must say the Staff at Urgent Way are amazing. Their standards of professionalism is by far a Top10+, from the minute you walk in your are welcomed as if your in a 5 Star Resort. The office is a bit small but BIG in Heart and compassion. Thank you Alicea, Monique and last but definitely not least Crystal (thank you for making me comfortable, as I had no coffee that day). Thank you Dr Muey (your a gentleman and scholar).God bless you all.....Keep up the good work Perhaps others can learn from you guys....Edwin Reyes
My 1st visit to this facility was in May I have to say the service is better than my primary care physicians.Dr. Morrine is very much a life saver. I’m a lifetime asthmatic and since seeing Dr. Morrine it is now under control in ways it hasn’t been in Years!!Lisa & Janelly are a pleasure to deal with. This is now my go to location for urgent care.
This last experience with a HORRIBLE front desk girl will be my last. People dont come in there to deal with condescending attitudes and to add insult to injury I was made to wait longer than necessary because she wanted to be petty. I asked for a refund of my $30 co-pay and went to another urgent care, luckily I was not gravely ill. Its bad enough its small, no privacy and they are yelling your personal information for others to hear that may be in the waiting area.Lastly, they are currently interviewing for a front desk person. The young lady that referred to herself as the office Manaer said while she has applicants from people in Brooklyn she wasnt calling them as they are crazy.Disgusting attitude and ethics all around.
I walked in here feeling terrible and I was seen almost immediately. Im very happy I decided to go here, especially since its so close to home. The staff was very kind, from the doctor down to the front desk and medical assistants. Also, its very clean, which is a big plus for me!
I went to UrgentWay for a pre-employment medical exam. My employer had them on hold on the phone for an hour. The nurses didnt give up and were persistent in getting my paperwork complete. I truly apologized to the nurses for my employers delayed. Once, they received my authorization, my medical exam was efficient and quick. Dr. Mirela Carnatu took his time in the examination, asked me a few questions about my health and he double check my paperwork for accuracy. I would recommend UrgentWay for being professional, efficient, persistant in getting my paperwork complete and getting the job done in a timely manner on their end. The nurses and doctors were extremely helpful, caring, accommodate patients needs, and they are considerate with everyones needs.
The wait is long. I have been told prior to going there that all labs and immunizations are covered by the amount I paid. I even told them to make sure there are no hidden charges and has assured me that everything is covered. And now got billed with a charge for labs done.
Worst Urgent care i ever see in my whole entire life i make a appoinment for 10:00 am they see me at 12:13 pm then they told me to call for the result of my test i call and the only awnser they have is the doctor going to call you shortly i wait for 2 hour and call again and they have the same awnser the doctor bla bla bla and now i don’t want a replay saying we are sorry for any inconvenience because you guys always say that and you guys are not sorry for nothing like you guys don’t care
Came in with an ear infection that was hurting very badly from the night prior. My regular, primary care physician was closed since it was after normal business hours. I was desperate for some relief and ran in right off of the train after work. The place was empty (wonder why?) I was seen by Mirela Carnaru, and honestly Ive never met or spoken to a colder doctor in my entire life. First, I caught her googling my symptoms as I sat down in her office, as if she had no idea what an ear infection was. Looking at case studies, she said Im not looking at this for you, Im looking at this for me. OK?! Last time I checked I was the one with the throbbing ear. Next, she felt around my neck, asking me if different places hurt. When I said no, she exclaimed well you tell me nothing hurts, what do you want me to do? I said my EAR hurts, when you touch my EAR it hurts. She then proceeded to press on my ear as if she didnt believe me. It hurt and I was disgusted to say the least. She looked in both ears only, didnt bother checking my throat or nose for congestion. She said my throbbing ear was a little bit red and then asked me if I was pregnant about 5 times (How many times does a person have to say no?!) The entire time I felt as if she didnt believe that I had an ear ache. I asked her what type of ear infection it was (middle? outter?) and she avoided the question. She refused to give me drops because she said drops are useless, gave me low mg antibiotics (which I feel she gave to shut me up) and sent me on my way. *3 days later* my ear is swelling, I can barely hear out of it, it hurts when I swallow, my throat is sore and I cant chew any food. I decide to see the ENT a few blocks away, since by now Ive been calling out of work because I am in serious pain and have all the time in the world. I find out from the ENT doctor that 1. the antibiotics Mirela gave me arent good for the type of infection I have 2. Antibiotic drops ARE THE BEST THING you can give a patient with this type of ear infection. Moral of the story: Do not go here and if you do go here, DO NOT go to this doctor. She will brush you off and make you feel less than, instead of helping you the best she can. Cold, rude, not knowledgeable at all.
Best place ever, I went there Wednesday 8/1/2018 I had a really bad knee pain for a few days and it was not the first time I had it so the doctor and the lady’s take care me, I was not even 30 minutes when I finish the doctor send me to do XT and I was done with both places in less then 2 hours loved it. Dont waste your time going to soemwhers else and come see them if you need to see a doctor and not feeling good. They are the best.❤️
I Highly recommmend this place, they are very Sufficient, veryyy nice staff and doctors. I was seen right away. The Drs did all sorts of tests to discard any wrong diagnosis. They go step by step with treatment and options. The drs are also just one call away. Excellent service
Just came in at 1:30. Literally no one in the building at all, walked around the whole building maybe to see if the was another entrance or something but it was completely deserted. There was no sign up stating that they were closed and it says theyre open every day. What gives?
Everyone at the office was wonderful the lady at the front desk help with a little insurance issue we had the triage nurse was very professional and being a medical assistant myself she knew her stuff the doctor was very friendly I would recommend this office to anyone thank you and nice meeting you all
This was ridiculous. Went in on Sunday at 1:30 when they ARE open and there was not a single soul in the entire building. Called the number and could jot get a hold of a real person. Finally decide to leave a voice mail and the inbox is full. Absolute BS, will not return

2022-03-17RUDE and Unprofessional front desk staffsI normally dont write review but this time I have to. Bronx Urgentway should address the rudeness and unprofessional front desk staffs, who are first point of contact to anyone getting service from this facility. They mixed up my name with an existing patient and did not register my records even though I insisted its my first visit. In other occasion, they totally forgot about my daughter in law and kept her waiting in separate room when she went for Covid test. Didnt feel sorry for this long wait. They barely receive calls and put you on hold for long time while they tend to enjoy time on personal calls. I hope management will pay attention to front desk service.

2021-12-20Went to get a rapid test and had to wait 3 hours in line. I couldn’t wait that long, so I rescheduled for the following day. The following day was much smoother and I got a rapid test in a timely manner. I appreciated the additional PCR test recommendation, but when I called to receive my test results I kept waiting in the call queue and then disconnected after 10 mins of waiting. This happened 4 times this morning. On top of that, their mailbox is full and can’t take messages.I understand that these times are tough for everyone, and I totally recognize how busy and hectic is it at this location. But, jumping through all these hoops to receive critical COVID results is not acceptable. It shouldn’t be this difficult for patients to get results.

2022-01-10I honestly had the best experience here. I showed up it was one person before me and I was in and out in 30 mins and my results were in next morning. (I went before the whole omicron outbreak though so good luck) and they aren’t charging 100, only pay through insurance.

2021-12-21If I could give one star I would. I made an appointment for a covid test for 9:30am. When I got there at 9am I was told to wait downstairs. I asked if I could sign in and was told “no someone will go down and get you”. I come to find out that the supervisor wouldn’t let me sign in so when I went back up to ask her why I couldn’t sign in, she turned to another worker and said loudly, “I’m not helping these white people”. She refused me medical services because she assumed that I was white. She’s absolute garbage and so is this place. Overbooked appointments. No social distancing. Absolutely disgusting. Also, this business is not BBB approved so there is no complaint line.

2021-12-19This was terrible customer service. I’ll separate into two parts.Taking the test:My parents had an appointment for 5:30, showed up at 5:00 only to wait 3 AND A HALF HOURS. The staff tried to convince them to leave and come back another day but considering we needed it for travel they stayed. Basically, it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not they prioritize on a “first come first serve” basis so you might as well walk in.Receiving the results:After receiving a text notification that our results were ready we were prompted to make a patient portal account. We tried to and it said we needed to contact the office, we do that (only 4 minutes after getting the results) but they’re now closed. We ended up having to cancel our plans for the following day so we could go into their office and receive the results ONLY TO HEAR that an email would be sent.Poor communication by staff. But for what it’s worth the actual testing (nasal swab) was quick and painless.Update: My mother was EMBARRASSED by the front desk person who, after pulling up her results told her “Just go in the hall. Just go in the hall” without explanation as to why. Hearing this, people nearby all backed away and soon she found herself being shunned without reason. We asked for our test results on paper and NEVER received it because it was a HIPPA violation(?) to receive YOUR OWN RESULTS?! Even if her test was positive, there’s a protocol to be followed by healthcare professionals. Proper guidance should’ve been given or even a pseudo isolation space, but nothing. 4 hours later we have yet to receive the results. Since then we’ve each been tested TWICE at a different facility and met with a doctor (the proper protocol was followed). It was a truly horrible experience.

2021-12-23#Covidtest #Urgentway I checked in for Covid test in Urgent Way( 2826 Westchester Ave Suite # 204, Bronx, NY 10461)in the Morning on 12/22. I was told wait outside and theyll call me when its my turn. I went to checked with front desk several times during the day because I didnt receive call for hours. And I didnt get test at last. They never called me. My husband went inside and waited in the room for half hour to observe. During the half hour, no one was called or got into the room get tested. And ironically, there are so many people waiting outside on the hallway, lobby, stairs and in the cars. We were all waiting for nothing. And no one explained why. I asked front desk they just said people had appointments coming during the waiting. But they still say nothing when new people walked in. I understand its holiday season and many people want get tested. However if you cant do it, just say it, right? Why waste so many peoples time! Very disappointed about this. And I tried to call them twice. Every time the system told me my waiting time and how many people in line. And after around 15 minutes on the call, the system will say theres no available representative and hang off. Hope someone in charge of this place can see this comment. This place definitely need improvement in management.

2022-01-14If I could give zero reviews I would .. I went two days ago for a walk-in COVID test was told that they were not taking walk ins I stated there was no signage stating so .. the young blonde woman at the front desk advised me to make an appointment on line in order to be seen. I did make an appointment on line for today 12/31 at 2:45 I arrived early before 2 pm since o kept calling and the prompt would count down to 1 saying you are the next caller and then hung up saying mailbox was full and nobody was available to take my call . I arrived at the location to find at least 10 people who had been turned away saying that the manager advised they were closing at 2 pm today. We were not contacted to be informed or have our appointments rescheduled. There were over 30 people in the hallway on the way up to the location who were about to be turned away as well. Now count the numbers if two out of the 30 were positive and now they are around 30 people they are going home to their families and infecting them and so forth and so on .. then we want to know why the virus is still active look how medical professionals are turning people away from testing sites with scheduled appointments. I myself have been sick for two days and waited for my appointment as per the managers instructions and still was turned away. This is no way to treat people who are already sick.. I understand that everyone wants to spend time with their family for the holiday but we are still very much in a pandemic and staff should have contacted those 30 something people and rescheduled their appointments. Update: I ended up testing positive at another location and am just beginning to feel better. I have yet to hear back from management or anyone. This entire process and workflow needs an overhaul lives are at stake here ..

2021-12-22HORRIBLE! 3 hour wait for a scheduled appointment. Took a Rapid test which should get me results within 15-20 minutes but after 5 hours still no results. This is horrible because I missed work to get this test and yet the results aren’t in very frustrating and unreliable!

2021-12-22Can you give them 0 stars? Dont go here to get tested if you think you are infected. I went on Monday and had the rapid test and PCR done, keep calling all day Monday since they said it would be about 20 minutes to get the results and could never get thru, they hang up on you the minute they pick up (if youre lucky enough that someone picked up) or you get a recording saying no one is available and mailbox is full. I received the text today mssg w/the link to view my results and cant log in, the pop mssg says to contact the place for help to access the patient portal but again, cannot get thru. What a joke of a place, will never go back here.

2021-12-28Ive been here before for a covid test and been told I need an appointment so Im unsure on the walk in part but my real issues is that their phone never works yet they tell you to call for an appointment and the downstairs door is always locked! Theyve never opened it for me . I always have to wait for someone to come out . Dont bother using the intercom, they never open
