Ask for Sophia! She was so helpful and considerate. I haven’t purchased a car in years so I was very overwhelmed. She stayed well past closing hours to answer all of our questions and get me into my dream car. She took the time to make sure I felt comfortable with this big buy. She was so sweet. Not once did I feel pressured into purchasing a car I was not comfortable with. And on top of all that I got the best deal you can think of, I still can’t find a better deal than the one I was offered. So if your looking for a good price and fantastic service this is the place.
Horrible experience - READ THE BAD REVIEWS... THEY ARE ALL TRUE! I saw a Mazda CX-5 listed for 16,999. I called and asked if there were any fees and was told there were not, the price would be 16,999 + taxes + registration... Then I saw these reviews and was a bit concerned and called again, voiced my concerns and was assured that there would be no fees and the price would be 16,999... So I book an appointment and drive an hour into the city to see the car.I check out the car, and everything looks good then the sales person says he needs to breakdown the numbers aka raise the price over 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS... 1k for a dealer prep fee, the car is 5k more because I wanted to pay cash... blah blah blah... I told him that I called and asked what the price is multiple times to avoid this exact scenario he told me that the receptionist doesnt know the prices or the breakdown and there was nothing he could do. Completely misleading and a total scam!Im convinced every positive review on here is false because who would fall for this scam?! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME EVEN GOING HERE!
Stay clear away from this place found there car add on CarGuru for 22000 for 2019 keep Cherokee with 31000 miles and that was a great deal. Called to ask about any additional fees the finance manager told there no other hidden fees just tax and dmv fees and she guaranteed me which was a lie. They added 8 thousands in fees and honestly wasted my time. The other reviewers are honest when they say to stay clear away from this place
I should have listened to the reviews. They charge 6k certification fee and a 995 dealership fee. Totally ripping people off. When we were taken to the garage where they had the car, the car we were taken in died lol. The lady who gave us the price didn’t even tell us her name. Not recommended.
WHENEVER YOU SEE BAD REVIEW PLEASE LISTEN TO IT. SOMETIMES THINGS ARE JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.These people are crooks. They’re very slick and fast talkers. I came in for a car that was priced at $26,000 and by the time I got out of there, I was locked into a $36,000 loan. On top of that they made me pay $1,200 application fee. They robbed me right before my eyes. They don’t care about customer experience, they’re strictly for profit. I ended up stuck in debt while they laughed their way to the bank.Thanks Sarah.

Do yourselves a favor and stay away from such crooks! Its shocking to see how they are in business even.Drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach their place, in response to a vehicle that was listed on Carfax for 17995. Called prior to going and was confirmed availability and the price. The vehicle seemed ok and the salesman took me then to the office to discuss the numbers. To my horror and shock, he added $995 as their dealer few and another $5995, as a few for having the car certified. That means an extra $7000 to the internet price, without anywhere mentioning on the site!! The salesman had to audacity to tell me that was the actual price of the car and they mention only the base price on the internet!Without even talking to him a minute further, I walked out! To add salt to the injury, it took me 2 hours to return back in heavy traffic. I felt angry and cheated for wasting 4 hours of my time for nothing!!
Overall car buying is stressful, and luckily, I dont have to go through this process for a (very) long time again. Bought a vehicle I am pleased with. Lauren was helpful with process, and the other staff were pleasant.

These ppl are straight up crooks.Called them to question the price of a car, asked them what are the added fees attached to the purchase and they said they’re no additional fees other than titles and taxes. After driving 120 miles to go see the car, there was an additional $10,000 added to the cost of the car while their website is advertising the car for $10,000 less. The girl spoke to try giving me some bs abt dealer fee and warranty cost. I said I don’t want any warranty she gonna then tell me that cost will still be added either way.Their cars are grossly overpriced after they add all their additional fees. DO NOT GET TRICKED BY THESE CROOKS.
Thank you so much to all the honest reviews. I was planning on flying to NY for the sole purpose of buying a car here. I did my homework and found the disclaimer online about fees, so I called and asked and she said just the sale price + taxes. Which is when I came a looked on reviews here and on Yelp, from what I’ve read, this place is a scam and everyone should take their money elsewhere. The price you see online is merely bait and will actually double.

I got my car 3 months ago, i finally decided to write a review. My sales rep was Nick, even though he was extremely kind, the way they do business is suspect. The car is advertised at a lower rate and then when you get there they add about 10k more. Afterwards they want you to put down a deposit so you can hold your spot, which is fine. However, when I came back a few days later to finalize things and to see what my numbers would be he kept telling me not to worry about anything, which made no sense bc my payments are something i do need to worry about.3 months later Im calling to get certain phone number and its like no one knows anything and they put you on hold for 15 min w.o checking in..PSA... ALLOW THEM TO DO A TEST DRIVE BEFORE YOU BUY IT AND ASK THEM ALL QUESTIONS AND IF THEY DONT KNOW THEN HAVE THEM GET SOMEONE WHO DOES.
Please. negative reviews ARE REAL. It happened to me today. They stole 2 thousand dollars of the amount I gave from the down-payment. Scammers from the seller, financial, Manager. EVERYONE. The seller assures you that if you do not want to take the vehicle, he will give you the full money back. However, in the credit application sheet it indicates that if you do not accept they take 10% (not of the entry) but much more (of the value to be financed), the seller only explains what is convenient for them. Before seeing the details with financial they make you wait too long (this is to exhaust you and when you go to see numbers you are mentally exhausted) the financier makes you a number game so that you fall for the scam. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to the reviews before going there, if I had, I would not be a victim of this shameless theft. If the reviews say that the vehicle rises in value by 10,000 more, it is real. Find out. Do not give the down-payment in advance. Until they see final numbers. It is not necessary to give the down-payment. They demand it of you because you know that they are going to rob you from there
Let me save you the trouble. The online price is great. When you get there, they tack on $4589 for power train 10 year warranty that is not optional. Plus all other fees and taxes. So add 4500 to the online price of your car so there are no surprises. The customer service was also terrible.
Traveled 4.5 hours to dealership for a specific car. Called the night before making the trip to make sure car was still available, was told it was still for sale. When we arrived the next morning we were informed the car was sold the night before. Poor customer service , at least a phone call to let us know it had been sold would have been nice.
Absolute bait and switch. Price listed online is only if you finance with them, and they have incredibly high rates. Price if you finance with your own bank etc. is about $10k more. Drove 2 hours for what I thought was a deal. Dealership unwilling to budge on price or negotiations. Fully expects people to walk in and walk out once finding out the true price.
I think we may have ended up with an OK DEAL ...noting special. My wife and daughter went to price a car was told by Sales rep Sarah that when we came back to pay for the car it would be 23k ALL IN .... well tonight we are told it’s 26k! Finance guy Jason was nice, no pressure and said he would refund my deposit. Bottom line we didn’t get the “Deal” my wife and daughter were lead to believe. Sorry Jason no matter how you cut it your sales practices are deceptive and the public should be made aware. Let’s see how the car runs and hopefully we won’t be back to add to this review. 2 Stars is being kind! Buyers ask questions and get better details than we did before going for financing! And the rate is close to 5% and my credit score is above 800 ... go through a credit UNION... I could have gotten under 3% APR ....
Just had a really great experience buying a car here. After checking around for almost a month, I found the perfect SUV. Low miles, clean history and a good deal. Sara and Sofia were the best! Saw a car listed for a certain price, called ahead and was told only a dealers fee of 995 would’ve been added to the total charge, made an appointment and came in to check the car out, ended up loving the car however the sales rep ‘Sarah’ came across as very unprofessional; as she was very distracted the entire time while talking to me. She then disclosed an extra 4000K for an ‘inspection fee’ which was not disclosed on the list price of the vehicle, nor on the phone. I assured Sarah that I wanted to purchase this vehicle, and that I was serious about it, but that the inspection fee was not going to work for me, she then returned my ID along with my debit card in a very dismissive way and told her to call her if she’s still interested. Ended up buying a car from Paragon Honda right across the street same day.

Friendly staff here, very professional. I came in to purchase a vehicle with my son, we did our research and read the disclosure on their website so we weren’t taken by surprise by any fees. Sofia didn’t mind us driving the vehicles that we were debating on.. our test drive was very smooth and she was in no rush to get the vehicle back on the lot, that’s how I knew they have nothing to hide. Dont waste your time..Prior from driving up from South Jersey (about 2hrs out) we had checked all the info on a car that caught our eye we had spoken with the receptionist confirming web pricing. Once at lot sales person was very nice and very helpful once we went inside to speak with the financial department price went up almost $5,000. 😱 apparently they had put new brakes and rotors on vehicle and wanted to pass along the cost of repairs plus the car is still new enough that it still has manufacturers warranty 100,000 mikes 10yrs. The financial department wanted to charge us to have warranty transferred.We told her we have the cash for original price rt here rt now they said you MUST get the warranty, and she wasnt going to arguing back and forth. We looked at her and told her WE DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING you just lost as sale. Walked out, the original sales guy (that was extremely nice and helpful)asked what happened we told him that apparently the finance girl didnt want him to make any $.

They are Scammers. Stay away from them. They advertised a cars at lower price and by the time they end the sale they charge you double the amount. They lie on the phone about prices, and when you go in they say the price is at least 10k higher. Take this advice and stay away. A Honda Civic was listed for $13999 on their site, but was actually $27k all together. They use a tactic with pressure sales to make u sign a contract, and shows upmost disrespect when you ask question. SCAMMERS! They add a 5k dealers fee (dealers fees are never this high) and an additional 5k for a warranty that was never given to me. At end they included the 10k to the price of the car instead of showing it separate on the bill of sale. If you would like to be ripped off, come here.

My father and I inquired about multiple cars today, we were interested in nine of them. The price listed online seems to be an amazing deal, after reading these reviews we are no longer interested. It is unfortunate that a business can lie to someone on the phone and tell us the price they have online were final just didn’t include taxes and that there would be no additional fees. These bad reviews are true and the way that AutoMania responds to potential current and future customers is disgusting! When we called we asked to speak to a sales person, to which the lady who responded said one wasn’t available at the moment. We put our name down and waited for a call back that never happened. We called two more times and no one was available both times. Not to mention the lady who answered was not interested in assisting us at all, she was rude! Very disappointed.
The process here was by far the worse I have ever experienced. There were too many things that went wrong here to go into detail with but I will summarize:- The sales manager (Sarah) lacks any integrity and is highly dismissive of questions that pertain to the price of the car.- the warranty is mandatory (never explained over the phone) and I drove more than 2 hours to get there.- the staff do not care your data privacy. She asked me multiple times for my login to my ADP account.- she tried to take my down payment before any conversation about the monthly cost occurred- I could not test drive the vehicle.Id highly suggest going elsewhere if you are trying to buy a car.

Dont think that you can buy a cheap car from this site. Yesterday morning I found one on this web ,and called to check the availability, I was told :Yes, and set up an appointment for this morning. At about 3:00PM I called up again, to make sure that I wouldnt waste time to drive 2 hours for the appointment, the lady promised that she would call me back later of the day. No calls received!I checked the cars in different web , the price was $12,000 more. Wondering what happened ,without answering and receiving any calls, in order to avoid late for the an appointment, I have to drive with my family ,fortunately on the way , I made another call, then someone told me that the car was sold yesterday.Is this acceptable? It completely ruined my day!

Very misleading pricing. Pathfinder listed at 18,500 ended up at $28,246, after much haggling. They take about half a day to move you though the process, and keep adding fees as you go along, so by the end when you finally see the real cost you have already invested hours and you are hungry and worn out. The finance sales man also shared his opinions about government handouts and socialism and lazy people. The car was not thoroughly cleaned, found pet hairs that they promised they would not been there after detailing. Major buyers remorse, major.

First off, I must apologize for giving Sofia a hard time.. I came in trying to purchase a vehicle for 5k and sofia explained that all their vehicles are off lease vehicles, no accidents and/ or damage to the structure that when you buy a vehicle youre paying for its reliability hence 5k wouldve gotten me a vehicle with at least an accident. After a whole consultation I ended up financing my 2017 Hyundai elantra and couldnt be happier, time to finally work on my credit and hit the Road 👊!

When a vehicle is sold or otherwise transferred, the manufacturer warranty follows the vehicle and not the owner. This place lies and requires people to pay for power train warranties that are still intact for vehicles that are well below their manufacturer warranty mileage point. They also tack on a “dealer prep” of $995.00. You will walk away paying about $5,000 more than the price that was listed. I can only imagine how many people have fallen for their scam. It’s a shame.

My father in law saw a vehicle listed at a good price. He called their office and a sales agent confirmed the price listed on their website. Then we traveled from MA to NY to buy the vehicle just to find out there were a little over 5,000.00 on fees. *** Buy at your own risk ***
I went here with my family looking for a used newer model suv this dealership had a few available in my family price range, cars i was seeking were available and clean just like I saw in the pictures. the sales woman was nice and formal she explained very well the financing options the lowest rate was 4 percent that was fair Honda was offering 5.9 that was much higher. This auto mania dealer has a 695 dealer fee I wasnt expecting but it was good deal after the search of other dealers we visited near by so I purchased here. I took the car to my friend mechanic and car has no problems all is good.
Recently went here to trade in from an older car to a newer one. Great experience, the sales team made me feel welcome in the establishment. Don’t go here it’s a scam. Traveled almost2 hours just to find out that when I got there the pictures they posted of the interior of the car was from a completely different car with better features. The sales women was very nice though and tried to help out so I have to give credit to her for that. When you go to talk numbers though there is a charge of over $2,000 to certify the car. Don’t waste your time going here unless you want to spend a few thousand more than the sticker price

I honestly had a great experience here with one of the women who assisted me, as soon as i walked into the lot it was positive energy and honesty. i choose to go up to the office to discuss everything and we ended up working out the numbers. I then drove off the lot with a 2016 Nissan rogue SL in no time, i love my new car as well as i love the feel and how nicely clean it was maintenance afterword.
I’ve never dealt with a dealership that won’t give me an out the door quote before I drive two hours to test drive the vehicle. That tells me a few things not the least of which, they’re not upfront about their pricing which is the biggest red flag ever. Will NEVER buy a car here.
I had a great experience at Automania. The sales and finance staff were very professional and knowledgeable. As a first-time buyer, I was extremely nervous, however the staff was not pushy at all, they gave me information, answered all my questions and allowed me time to make my own decisions. They took the time to personally drive me safely to my home as it had gotten dark and I had concerns of driving home. I was told at the dealership the price of the USED 2017 camry with 35k miles on it is over 21k before taxes and fees if you dont use dealer financing. After a short conversation I was offered the vehicle at 19k if I paid cash. This was an extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate price range for a used vehicle and I was denied any lower pricing. This is the most expensive model within 50 miles at the time. With such a high price for a USED vehicle it seems this dealership doesnt care for their customers. The vehicle had dents and scratches all over it and the counsel on the interior was damaged. This dealership needs to be investigated and get out of the community.
Went to buy a car, and they will not even let you test drive without putting down a deposit. Then when you talk numbers, surprise you with an extra $5k-$6k that they are charging you (for third party certification) that they do not list anywhere on their website. It is just tucked into the disclaimers. Make sure you also where bug spray, the lot is full of mosquitos.
I would never do a business with Automania. They scam people by posting very low price first in cars.com or their site and when you get there they show you a big surprise down payment and protection.Be careful and confirm everything with them via email as written before you get in the shop - do not trust phone confirmation because they lie - otherwise you will be swindled by Sarah and Kate. Read micro font written disclaimer carefully so that they can`t scam you.
Do not come here. I just wasted 4 hours of my time to have them tack on a $3000 processing fee AFTER taking my down payment and insurance. This is shady to the max. I have purchased used cars before and I understand they add processing fees, but to add it on after Ive already paid a down payment and to fake lower the fee to $1500. I held my ground and left and asked for a full refund. Honestly people, just have some common decency.

Scammers..... STAY AWAY... Yesterday I called for a car availability and price ,both were confirmed. Today I visited the place having appointment, I looked at the car listed for 13999 and I asked for a test drive. I was told that we need first to run some numbers before you test drive it. The Manager told me : 13,999 if I finance it and in addition to that I had to pay 4,999 for the repairs that they had done to the car +995 dealer fees + taxes, +DMv her numbers came around 26k for a car that is listed for 14k. I asked a cope of the paper that the was writing on the numbers so I can show it to you guys and I was told that I can not have a copy of it neither I can take the original one and I had to come another day seeing the Manager ( who the hell was her then because she introduced herself as the manager ) . I told her that yesterday when I called for the appointment I was told that the number is real and I have to add the sales taxes on it and thats it she told me that I spoke with the secretary who was not in today and she does not know the final price. Well, why is someone who has no idea confirming the numbers you see in their website? I called the police on them and neither them could get a copy because they said that there was no personal info on it such as SS etc. STAY away. All those bad reviews are real.1. You are replying to me as the business owner meaning that you have been there at all time ( Sarah ?)2. I asked for a copy of the page that you were writing on the difference between financing and pay in cash. And you said that I need to come in another day when the manager is there. As far as I know you were the acting manager but you chosed to say you are not.3. I never complained about taking the temperature , I do respect everyones safety. I was the one asking you where did you purchase the electronic thermometer and you said on amazon . ( Maybe those small details can refresh you memory).4. I was the one calling the police and not you, I had walked out myself prior calling the police. When you refused to give me a copy of the page where you were writing you numbers I specifically said : I can confirm that all the bad reviews are real and you were very very rude. Let me know if you want me to get the police report. :)5. You have cameras all over the place , you may see that I walked out and I called the police. Your salesman came in to ask you a copy and you said no but you could shred it. Why not giving me a copy?6. As of the test drive I gave you my driving license and I specifically said: I would like to test drive it before we do the numbers and you refused to do and insisted to do the numbers.You may see from all the others writing bad reviews that have the same experience.

Im a college student and was looking for a low payment on a reliable vehicle. I found a few 2016 Honda civic here in clean condition , car quality is almost new, my aunt is a mechanic and found no issues in this car and dealership got me the low payments i wanted and worked with me all the way. Bought a 19,490 gmc from them .. they didn’t have it cleaned or anything but charged about 3000 in fees to that were mandatory for repairs and stuff . I put 4000 down making the car 15,490 but somehow my loan is about 24,000 been paying the car since March 2020 it is now November so 8 payments later and only $400 was deducted from my total loan .... things don’t add up at all
Worst car dealer ever!! DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE. They will lie to you and tell you you’re buying a 125 point inspected certified vehicle and even pay for this certification but walk out with the same type of vehicle you could get at a auction. I’m pretty sure that’s what they do anyways and sell to the consumer as a “certified” vehicle. After signing my financing contract I got into my “certified” car only to notice the check engine light was on, A/C didn’t work, car has electrical issues, windshield let’s in water and air on the highway the car even makes a loud banging/ knocking noise. Guess what they told me, since you didn’t buy a extended warranty we can’t do anything about the A/C being broken and they refuse to do anything about all the other issues. Will definitely be taking the matter to court and I’ll be there every morning from 9 am till 1 pm to warn all potential victims of these fraudulent dealership. Hope everyone is safe and God Bless.
I was looking for a Honda CRV and I went to automania and I met Ms Sara there and she really helps me with everything and she was really patience with me cause I couldn’t get approval to certain banks so I could finance the car and then she take her time to help me get everything done ✔️ I really recommend people to go and give them a visit because they have good car there and they make sure you go home with a car for sure.
Need to improve the customer service. I came from NJ 1 drove an hour to get this dealer and the lady said that I need an appointment and at least 3 hours to get the offer. I that in an hour they can get all the info. Im so sorry for them. I should have listened to the reviews. Im very disappointed.
Bait and Switch artists at their best. Believed the 5 star reviews on Google and went and had a nightmare experience at this dealership. Saw a car on their website listed for $11,999 a 2016 VW Tiguan. Went in on Saturday, March 23rd at 2pm, left the dealerships finance guy office at 8pm that night without the car. They wasted 6 hours of my life. Why you ask? Well after adding their hidden fees the final price they said I should pay for the car...wait for it... $21,500. I was told this only at around 8pm by their finance guy. Why not tell me what the walkout price will be after 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 5/12 hours even, no they waste your 6 hours of your day and try to pull a fast one on you at the end. The salesperson Sarah and Andre seem nice, I just hope they are not knowingly participating in this scam, if they are, it is shameful and deceitful. Please, you have been warned, stay away from this place and perhaps, you will be spared of the nightmarish experience that I had to go through trying to purchase a car from this place. I seriously doubt whoever is giving 5 star ratings to this bait and switch scam artists.. cant say you have not been warned, you can learn from my experience and save yourself 6 hours of your life and headache...

This dealership doesn’t know how to deal with their customers, they only want to trap you in a deal to get money from you.They add BS fees that dont make sense like extended warranty which it already exists on the vehicle not through AUTOMANIA.My plates expired and they haven’t done anything to fix the problem.I still don’t have a registration and plates as of 6/5/2021.
This dealers is no right. i call about a Rav4 2017. one girl told me she had 2 in stock one for 13800$ and another for 12887$ i said i want to buy cash and i live upstates NY. she told me AUTOMANIA doing financing and cash i have to be in NYC to buy it. she gave me a appointement. yesterday i call to change my appointement time because i will be there early. she did and said is fine. i drove 5hours to came NYC and another girl told me she dont have a car for that price. She dont know with who i talk about that car. Good experience at this dealership, they when it came down to finding a vehicle that worked with my budget along with features I wanted had to get cloth instead. This place is a scam! I was pre qualified by the bank. So all they had to do was show me a car within my budget from the bank and bam everything would of been handled. They took the down payment which don’t go towards the down payment of the car, so idk why it’s called a down payment. Then told me to come back tomorrow. Not happening. If you don’t get a car the same day do not leave your money! Don’t trust people!
I went too 6 places before them and one being major world I can not believe how pushy they was as soon as i walked in!! the car was in really bad condition and had so many dents that was not shown in the picture. the other dealers either did not have the car OR had way too many add ons to the price and i know that is going to be everywhere but at least i got my car for a decent price here.We negotiated, sarah and i came to a conclusion that where ever i go this is going to be the price despite a couple of dollars but overall this was the cleanest car i have seen so this is why i choose them. I brung my mechanic then we test drove it and it was perfect. it was a long process that i have to say but at the end i found it worth it because i did my shopping around and still ended up with a decent car for a fair price.
Scammers, I saw a car for sale for 13k chage I call them to make sure there no other charge with that price beside DMV, taxes and plate they said no other charge, when i went to there shop then the price came up 26k. sales men was rude he act like he dont car. scam scam scam....

I had a very bad experience with this car dealership. Please do not go, waste of time. They asked for a down payment and I gave it to them. The deal fell through because of their lack of transparency and unprofessionalism. They refuse to give me back my down payment. They told me about their store policy, after the fact. I returned a week later and they gave me mumble jumble about not having the pin number to make a full refund possible. I had to get the cops involved. I want my money back!!!!Professionals are transparent and honest!!! Keep that phrase as part of your business mantra to avoid low reviews/ratings.

The price of the car online is nowhere near the true price of the car when you get there. They tack on about $6000+ in fees and warranties that they don’t allow you to take off. They also charge you a fee for just being there, even if you choose to walk away, ridiculous. I would NOT go to find a car here unless you are willing to pay way more than the car is worth.

As a busy guitar teacher, I needed a new vehicle that would be able to lug all my gear and guitars around the city. I came to Automania looking for a Honda CR-V and was assisted promptly and professionally. I enjoyed the laid back feeling I got in the office as car-shopping is already stressful enough. I got to leave with the car the same day and have been enjoying it ever since.
First thing they ask when you walk in the door is about money.. adds over $5000 in fees when you sit down to talk about price of any vehicle.. over $3000 for an inspection that they already did and over $1000 more for dealer prep in addition to the extra down payment amount.. no negotiating allowed at this business

Cheats, and LiarsWorst experience at a dealer ever. They were very rude as soon as my husband and I walked in. When we showed them the car we were interested that we found on their website, they suddenly marked up the price by $2,000 in person claiming it was because of Fees and certifying the vehicle. When we questioned them on this since the only auto dealer that can certify used vehicles are the car manufacturer themselves, they became defensive and essentially showed us the door. Ill stick to NJ or other NY dealers for a more honest experience.

In the market for a honda civic and i came across auto mania, they had 2 civics in stock so i dropped by and sales rep Ashley was very welcoming and informative we went on a test drive car and i loved the car. The price did go up by 2k! it thru me off for a bit, althought i wasnt expecting that 2k jump i proceeded because i learned i was getting a good deal and under market value and in great condition with a warranty. Cool people and mint conditioned cars.

Do not waste your time with Automania. I found a car they listed on CarFax. I emailed, spoke to someone on the phone, specified the car I was coming to see and that I wasnt local. I received an email and a text confirming my appt. Only to drive there for my appt to find out the car I was going to see was sold and no one bothered to tell me. Besides the car being sold, I was informed that there is a bait and switch on the website. The listed price is not the price it is being sold for. The listed price does not include a $1995 down payment. Also you can not get the fake listed price unless you finance with them. On top of all of that the woman working there was completely cold and unapologetic about any of this. She did not offer to show me comparable cars, and barely offered me an apology.

I came here for a 16 honda accord i saw online, when i entered i was greeted nicely and professionally by luis he took me on a test drive, i feel in love with the vehicle. Now the price was different than the internet by 1500$ but Luis did go above an beyond to get me a discounted price and finance was even better they got me the payment i was looking for.
I am disgusted with the service here and how i went in to test drive a vehicle and no one was available for 30 minutes to start it off. I spoke to a women who was rude and said if i was not buying today i can not test drive the car! I came all the way from New Jersey to test drive and i felt like no one was helpful. As soon as you walk in you see the prices rise to a whole 10k extra. Many many things they did not mention prior to calling but it is okay because my time was waisted not theirs right? Disgusting place!

This place practices very dishonest marketing strategies: BE AWARE!!! First of all they own the NYC motor company (they’re located in Elmont & Woodside, these are the two I visited). They marked the same car at different prices and make you believe you’re getting a deal and when you’re ready to buy and they have ran your credit, they add multiple made up fees. They marked their cars to a low price like 10,465 when the car will cost you 20,000. Or 13,777 when the car will cost 23,000 just to get you to come into their store. They racked up the prices to nearly 10,000 more after taxes from the advertised prices. As the finance guy stated processing fee/ certification fee/ bank fee it’s the politically right way to make money aka... rip customers off. So far the car I bought is in good shape so at least they deserve 2 stars. However, if you shop in any of this dealers be prepared to pay for all those fees.

Horrible experience. FALSE ADVERTISING! They charge a lot fee just to purchase any vehicle. Online advertised price went from 15k to 22k out the door. The Better Business Bureau needs to look into these shady marketing strategies.

She calling me a few times and send me pictures of another vehicle to lure me. But she lied. When I come they said this car already sold. This company doing that all the time. The worst place I bought a vehicle and I paid my fee for registration,Gave them my drivers license and now my registration comes back a different address than what is show from my insurance card,go figure meanwhile my address clearly states on my drivers license and my insurance is the same but my registration is different.... So the girl Sara is so rude and told me to just go to DMV and switch it ,really when I paid you guys to have done the right way,What a bunch rude people.

2021-09-01They are crooks. Went to buy a car and they changed the price to double because I wanted to pay cash. I called them several ti.es and spoke. Not once did they say that is the internet price nor was it advertised! Im not finish with reporting this. Consumer affairs should investigate this to the fullest.

2021-09-30I’m a first time car buyer & I was very happy with my experience here. Bert & Sarah definitely worked through any concerns I was having. I came with little to no knowledge about the process. They reassured me that I had little to worry about. I got the best deal on my 2018 Altima & I would recommend them to anyone. Just be on the lookout for cars that may have been in an accident without it being reported.

2022-03-22BUYERS BEWARE! DONT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!They take a picture of you before you can say no, after a long days ordeal, they ask you to give a thumbs up- so you do it. Only to later realize you were scammed by 15k when you look at the paperwork. The sticker price will be plus 15k, they keep you there so long that you are beaten down. DO NOT put money down BEFORE they reveal financing to you, they make you sign that you can NOT get it back - fineprint. NO COMPANY makes you pay a significant amount down without you knowing the final monthly payment. Oh wait, the slick scammers at this company actually do.

2021-08-31These people are very deceitful don’t even bother. It’s a very sketchy place to even buy a car. Literally called 2-3 times to test drive a car. Drove 2 hours to this “dealership” and the car was packed tightly in the corner. The receptionist I spoke to also informed me that the only fees that needed to be paid for the car were the taxes and documentation fees. Then when I got there it was a whole other story. I informed the receptionist that I recorded the phone conversation and she was literally quiet. Had NOTHING to say. Then on the sign guest form she had the audacity to write “customer was lied to” when she was the one that lied to me. Take your business else where these people are unintelligent, deceitful and will waste your time. They don’t even deserve one star. Definitely want to pay attention to the fake “positive rating accounts”. All the bad ratings are the truth don’t waste your time or hard earned money at this dump.

2022-03-11Dont get fooled by their prices. Add 6000$ (dealer prep+ down + warranty) more with the listed prices to get the actual price excluding tax and license plates. And also the agent (not mentioning her name) was rude to us with her answers which i understand probably because of the stress at work.
