Got into an accident and was recommended by Allstate for the repairs. They were incredible! So friendly and personable. My car looks brand new. They estimated 7-10 days for the repair and it was ready in 8 days - perfect!! Vincent kept me updated on everything called 2-3 times just to keep me informed. Highly recommend V&S!!
One of the best experiences Ive had when getting my vehicle repaired! I initially considered taking my vehicle to the dealership after the insurance quote was complete. However, Im glad I didnt. Vincent and his team displayed excellent customer service, communicated very well with me, and overdelivered when it came to meeting expectations. It was a one week turnaround for an insurance claim for roof damage. They washed the vehicle, cleaned inside, and left some amazing air freshener!! I recommend this be the only place you take your vehicle if needing a repair or just simple service, whether you live in Bayside or not.

Let’s start by saying I am a new car owner. When I spoke with Vincent over the phone, he was helpful and of course knowledgeable of what needed to be done. This place is awesome! Came here a couple months ago after someone scratched up the corner of my new car while it was parked. I didnt want to go through insurance. They made my car look new again in 2 days and the price was extremely reasonable. Love this place and will be going back if I ever need any body work again.Thank you Vincent!
Vincent and his team did an excellent job performing a scheduled Major Maintenance on a Porsche Cayenne. Ordered tires from tire rack and had a wheel alignment, which was seamless. Vincent is very knowledgeable in his assessment of evaluating the vehicle and in answering all my questions. They installed only OEM and Genuine parts. He is extremely fair on parts and labor. Very honest and will not push for unnecessary work. I highly recommend them for the high level of service they provided. Thank you.
Went to V&S to get my car fixed recently and Vincent and staff was top notch. I had just moved to NY and so they are the premier place to fix your car when in a serious accident and they get my recommendation. Plus I got my car back well before the anticipated date and the service and car looks immaculate, 5 STARS!!!

Excellent service! I had a rear bumper replaced and new tires installed. The owner is direct, honest and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend this shop for the quality of their work and overall professionalism.
I was involved in a minor accident that warranted a rear bumper replacement on my Subaru Crosstrek. The other party insurance company took care of everything and recommended me a local body shop that was close to my work.Against my better judgement, I went with the local shop for the ease of convenience. That was a bad mistake. the shop painted over the trim part where is supposed to be black plastic, the color match was off even to my untrained eyes. The repair became an eyesore.The shop did own up to the hack job and agreed to fix it but I turned it down because that Trust is not there.So, I research Vincent at V & S Motor Service, first through Subarus own repair website and then through Google and realized not all body shop are qualified to fix your car brand and only a few are a regonized collision repair center with the car manufacturer. Now that doesnt mean there arent any shop out there that can do the repair.Through the research, I found out that V & S is also I-Car Gold class certified, that is the industry standard in fixing you car the right way and other shops fixing your car by cutting corner for a bigger profit at the cost of your safety with inferior parts. All this was enough for me to reach out and contact Vincent. He email me right back and answer all my questions and converns and was was very patience and informative.I took the drive and show the hack job to Vincent and we decided it was cheaper to just replace it with a new bumper, A few days later after I dropped my car off, it was looking beautiful again, the paint lines was nice and tight, no extra paint on the black trim parts. I was also a little embarrased that I did not wash my car before dropping it off and V & S washed it for me too, for a minute I didnt regonized my own car because it was so shiny.As I was pulling out of the driveway, one of the worker noticed one of my brake light was out and they took care of it too and Mr. Vincent Sr. got his hand dirty in helping out. This is a true family run business that you cant go wrong with, one that you can Trust to make sure it is well taken care of the right way.
I went to V&S today for changing oil and checking for the error message showing that ABS, DSTC service required.The office worker said to me that I could leave my car and he would check it.He said he would call me after the service is done and he diagnosed that error.2 and a half hours later, I just visited the shop because it was the hour they would close soon.And he didnt even check up about the error of ABS, DSTC service required.After I showed up, he said he would check now.There were not the other cars that were working on for the repair.He didnt work for the other cars and even mine.He was just speaking with someone.And he said he finished oil change already andchecked my car with a scanner for 5 minutes.And he said it was not showing any error message.And he charged $127 for oil change and simple scanning for 5 minutes.My car showed ABS, DSTC service required sometimes and then it was driving very slowly.He didnt even try to diagnose the error.Without car, I must have taken the bus for a lot of time in pandemic eracoming home and coming back to pick up the car.He could just let me wait near the shop for just simple oil change.But he said it will take long, so just leave the car.It was not the fair service.
You get what you paid for, top quality work. Let me get one thing straight, this rating system in my opinion doesnt seem efficient because there are so many things that are completely different from a restaurant compared to a body shop and in my opinion they shouldnt use the same rating system to rate service. That being said this body shop has done excellent work on my current car and my previous car and Vincent has even gone out of his way to help me out with information when insurance didnt want to help . Theyre conveniently located down the main boulevard five minutes away walking(Bell Blvd). Furthermore to fairly review this business I want to add that their service is timely, they have have always kept me updated whenever a repair would take longer than a business day which I have had a few of those collision type repairs over the years. Lastly, the last long repair I had which was on my 2006 BMW 325i included a wash which they included free of charge. I do hope this rating system by Google gets corrected in the near future to be able to fairly rate a business based upon the type of business that they practice.Update: professional service and friendly staff still stands, but paint literally fell off the body like with a year or so after the paint was done. I would say this is more a fault on the manufacturer of the paint.
Service and quality is consistent with their Top Rated Tire Rack recommended installer designation.The shop is next to Q12 bus stops and has plenty of coffee shops and restaurant s nearby if you decide to wait while your car is getting services.If you can look past Vincents New Yorker attitude, efficient and to-the-point, you will find quality work and excellent care for your car at a competitive price. I got my tires ordered, delivered and installed within a week. The interior of my car was protected from scuffs when they returned my all season tires to me. My coats in the car were neatly folded and put aside as to not get dirtied. The work was completed on time and I didnt have to wait. This level of service is what Id expect from Lexus or Mercedes but theyll probably charge 3 times more.
Stay out of this place!Got my 4 tires shipped from tirerack for installation. I picked this place because of review. Probably I didnt buy tires here and only pay for installation. I paid the tech $5 tips after the installation.After a week of tire replacement, the right rear tire burst. I took to another shop to replace. Found out the right front has 46 psi, left front has 42, and the left rear has 47 psi. My requrement on my door only need around 33 front and 32 rear. I didnt check the tire pressure after I left the place thought a shop like this will have the pressure correct.
Complete excellence all around! Over the years I have brought several of my cars here for body work/repairs and every time I am thoroughly impressed. I wouldnt bring my vehicles anywhere else. If your car has any type of mechanical problem or needs body work they will get the job done accurately and efficiently with excellent customer service.
Great mechanics and excellent service. Towed my G35 to them after a pothole took out my rear suspension in the highway not far from the shop. They were very friendly, and handled all of my insurance claim promptly. Ordered, replaced, and had my car ready ahead of schedule. Strongly recommend V&S over the dealer shop!
Initially referred here by my insurance company several years ago. Have had to use their services a number of times since. Every time has been a positive experience. The repairs were good, performed in a timely manner and explained to my satisfaction. The management and staff I dealt with were always cordial and helpful.
Took my car there for an insurance claim and just got it back and wow. I will definitely recommend people to this shop from now on.
I brought my friends car in for V&S to check out after he hit a curb and cracked a wheel. The wheel had been pushed back slightly towards the rear of the wheel well (caster). I explained clearly that my friend wants a diagnostic done on the car showing what needs fixing. Vincent told me theyll have to do an alignment to see what the specs are. The older gentleman with glasses (Sal?) brought me the alignment spec sheet and told me that the wheel was still slightly off, but the alignment spec sheet shows that everything is green.At this point I left the shop and drove the car around on several different roads and found it to be pulling to the right. I brought it back to V&S and told Vincent I felt the car was pulling. He took it for a test drive and came back and told me the car is perfect, the spec sheet shows all green, and that he will not touch it.I reported all of this to my friend and he decided to write a bad review right here on Google, which I had no knowledge of. I later received a call from Vincent and he went on a rant for 10 minutes on how he thought the poor review was unfair, because they did an alignment, the spec sheet shows all green, and there is nothing else they could do.My friend decided to delete his review, but Vincents attitude left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to write this one.I told him that I wanted a complete diagnosis on what is wrong with the right front suspension and all he did was an alignment and kept telling me that it was all green and that it was good to go. This is not what I asked for. That was a waste of $135. Even after their alignment, the right front wheel was pushed back about 1/4 compared to the left front wheel.I ended up taking it to a different shop right after my second visit to V&S, and they went through the entire front suspension and found some issues with the subframe and control arms.
Top notch facility. Vince and his crew were very friendly and courteous. they kept me informed throughout the whole repair process. My 2015 Bmw M3 came out looking like it did when I first got it. Their color matching on my car looks factory (yas marina blue). Thank you for the amazing work! A+ all the way

I dont know whats with all those 5 star reviews, I think they are all made by their own employee?? this car shop will break your stuff on purpose and make you come back, each time bill you large amount. They messed up my water tank on purpose when I change oil with them(drop my car at their place), then after 3 month they poked a hole at my exhaust when I drop my car at their place for fixing the water tank. Never go back with them again.
When I went to the office and asked a maintenance service, the guy in the office were very enthusiastic. When I told them there are some leaf and dirt under engine hood and he saidOf course, of course, dont worry, I will remove those. and after I paid the money and checked found they did not. Then he said he doesnt have time and eveything of my car is good. I was wandering if they had time maintain my car? Maybe also dont have time maintain and still charge me money. Because I did not feel any difference after their maintenance. The only different is they installed a plate frame with their advertisement which makes me very uncomfortable. However I can feel the difference of driving every time in else place after the maintenance. and auto people always gave me some advice about changing part or replacement. My car is a 10 years car and I maintain it every two years. I have to admit the service of V & S cost is affordable but what do you guys say if they just did nothing and still charge money? And promised then ate words? And the advertisement without my permission nor even let me know it?
If your looking for a place that will do quality work this is where you need to go. One of my biggest issues bringing in my 17 grand cherokee to a shop was the fact that if it will come out exactly how it suppose to? If something was off by just a centimeter I would be upset.I dealt with Vince(one of the owners) and one of the things that put me at ease was the independent certification plaque on their wall. That plaque significies the fact they are approved and trusted to work on jeep, dodge and Chrysler. They also specialized in other brands including forgein. These certifications are directly from the manufacturer. So i suggest keep an eye out for something like that when you inquire with other body shops.But the overall experience was extremly smooth and easy. I first came in with my truck on a Friday did some paperwork spoke with Vince, he showed me what was going to be replaced and walked me over to another grand cherokee that was already taken apart and gave me a more detailed idea of the work that needs to be done on my truck. I was out of there in less than 20 mins.I got my car a week and half later (between the MLK holiday, adjuster looking at the car and parts being ordered). When I picked it up the car looked amazing, they did a excellent job cleaning it up as well because i initially dropped it off pretty filthy. Theres really nothing more to say and there shouldnt be more. Its a body shop.. drop your car off.. get quality work done and pick it up. Everything in between such as customer service and communication was just a plus.
V & S implemented impeccable works for my BMW 440xi!
I first read the reviews on this shop and did not believe it could be that nice. However I figured I would take a chance, since I read it is a family owned shop. Best decision I ever made, the owner is there and is hands on with the customers. Extremely nice and helpful. I even bought my own parts for them to install and no attitude, just took them and put them on. I have started taking my wifes car there and I encouraged my friends to go also. If you read this I highly reccomend you consider this shop for all of your vehicle needs.
I would like to take the time to comment on how much of an outstanding job this company did for me. This was the second I have taken my car to this shop and both times I have been very pleased, they were so understanding and gave me a great price. They did such a great job like the scratch never happened!!!!

My family and I have been using V&S for almost a decade. Their turnaround speed on almost any job is second to none without compromising service and results. I think the most important thing is the honesty youll get when bringing your car in.

Long story short: I was going to purchase a car from a private party in NY. I do not live in NY, so I called Vince at V&S to do a PPI. He got me scheduled in the next morning.Im sure they do great service from their reviews, however, I had to call twice before Vince emailed me the PPI info. After recieving the email, I got an invoice...with 6 lines of information. Brakes are OK. All fluids seem to be fine.I understand that businesses get busy, but this is honestly a sad excuse for a pre-purchase inspection. My personal Euro Indy shop has 4 pages with 20-24 lines of information to check. Although I can only assume the inspection they performed was done right, the results I got were totally lacking and unprofessional. Also not worth the $105 plus NY sales tax.Im displeased with the service I got. Im sure most others get quality and genuine service around the area, however, I would stray away from the business if this is what their PPIs look like.
The only shop that I trust with my 2013 E93 BMW M3. Vinny is the man...shout out to Sal and the entire V&S team, as well!
Horrible service.....did a good job changing my rims but after they got their payment he just handed me the car keys and walked away....i had to load my own old rims that i replaced back into my car and they took my 32 lug nuts that came with the new rims......i would never go to this place again!!!they dont know how to deal with customers...!!

Terrible... the guy on the front desk was super rude... I politely asked him if he could see me soon because I had my car double parked outside.... plus I was the only client there at the time anyway.. he answered with an attitude Can you Wait!He hadnt even acknowledge my presence lol.. I had been standing for almost 10 min already...When I told him I just needed my tire to get patched up, he said he only had one person working and he couldnt take him away just to patch up a tire.... to go to another location... so yeah.... hahaha super rude... my review is solely based on the customer service to be fair...

We have had body work done here twice and they did a great job. Its out of the way to get here, but its worth the drive to know they will do a good job.
Dont ever bring your car there for fixing I went there for a right light signal change and that old man that works there with Vincent try to charge me 120.00 so I brang it to mobile on northern Blvd they did it in 3 minutes for 5 dollars so you can see how they try to get your money

Bad service. They are liars. They tried to mislead you, overwhelm something that not that worse, and persuade you to fix your car which actually is no need to fix. Awful experience, ever.

2022-02-15Honest Review 2018 Honda CRVGot into my first accident and collision which caused major damage to the side of my car, had to replace both doors. USAA recommended Vincent and his team to me and I called them immediately and they took my car in right away. Very clean place.Took about four weeks and a half to fix and they did a great job. I don’t think anyone is perfect in this world, they forgot to do one small thing but when I called they didn’t complain but was very professional and fixed the problem literally in 5 minutes.I wouldn’t mind seeing them again if I ever have to. Great job.

2022-02-05I was so happy that they fixed my car and got it back to its original condition. Vincent was so professional and helpful. The facility is so clean. Ive never been to a motor service company that was in such impeccable condition! I loved that they texted me updates, finished repairing my car in just a week (less if you count only business days), and that my car was treated well and cleaned to perfection when I picked it up.

2022-02-02My car got hit in November and brought my car for repair with USAAs recommendation. Vincent was really helpful and accommodating, he stayed after hours to diagnose my damage due to my working hours. They deal with USAA directly and no headache on my end. All I had to do was drop my car off, and pick it up (he even finished the work so I could pick up a few days early in holiday season). Repair looked great, very transparent with pricing, quality service and attentive to detail. I would recommend V&S. I had my car back for over a month and no issues.Helpful tips: They work with Enterprise also, you can give Enterprise a call and they would pick you up/ drop you off at V&S.

2022-02-21I’ve been coming to this shop for about 10 years now. Vince and and staff always have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been referring family and friends for years and his Great quality work speaks for it self. This is a family owned spot and Vince treats you like family, I even have his cell phone number. Bring your car here for wether it’s for auto body or mechanic work, they know what they are doing!

2022-06-02I made an emergency stop here when my car overheated, had not used before. Shop is very clean and professionally equipped. They replaced an expensive fan assembly which did the trick, however it recently failed again. Vinny was very accommodating and made needed repairs including a new assembly, at no cost. I find them very honest and they did the right thing.

2022-06-01I’ve been going to v&s for a few years but recently had a problem when I did a tire installation service here. While installing new tires onto my vehicle, they BROKE the wheel lock key required to take the tires off( I drive a bmw). Vincent the owner told me that I go to the dealership to get a free replacement key offering nothing else not even an apology. So I go to the dealership and a new wheel lock key is definitely not free AND while they were checking my wheel locks, they tell me that they’re drilled in way too tight and they’re stuck and now will cost me more just to get the locks off. All this to replace a wheel lock key that they broke I had to spend over $200 and hours of my time bc of their mistake. Tire installation was fine but I’m never coming back here.

2022-01-29Vincent robbed me. He told me he did a diagnostic. NEVER DID!. He had no proof of a diagnostic and charged me $135.00 for it. Then he said he put oil and antifreeze but my car broke down the very next day on the highway. There was no antifreeze in it at all!. I was in a snow storm and had to pay $200 to get towed home and this was the very next day

2020-09-21Big Thanks to V&S for taking Great care of my Truck .After the dealer ruined my bumper V&S stepped up to the Plate and knocked it out. Believe me I am Extremely critical of the color matching and Making sure it comes out 100% . Dont let the shade in the pick fool you. Take my word for it no Complaints here I Will Be Back very soon . 2021-11-03I strongly recommend this company - if you are in bayside and need any body work done, V&S is the place to go.I first met Vince at V&S when I urgently needed my car inspected. Vince inspected the car promptly, and when the inspection revealed that my tires needed replacement, helped me replace them quickly with no hassle whatsoever.I went back to Vince for help when I got rear-ended. I had never been in an accident before, and Vince told me exactly how to work with the third party insurance company. During the repair process, the third party insurance company dragged their heels, and as a result, I had to check in with Vince daily for almost a week. Despite my constant check-ins, Vince remained very friendly and helpful. Even though the insurance company took over a week to approve the paperwork, Vince had the repairs completed within 3 days. On top of everything, when I picked up my car, I found that Vince had very professionally cleaned the inside of the car. My car was quite messy before I brought it in, so I did not expect for it to be cleaned for me, and I am very grateful.If I ever need any work done on my car, I will go to Vince for help, and I strongly recommend him and V&S.
