Andrea and her entire team were able to create a safe and productive environment during a time when that was exactly what I needed, but last expected. Now 3 years later, my ex-husband and I are able to communicate openly and honestly in regards to our son which was my main concern during the divorce process. I really couldnt have planned it any better.
Pay attention to the gender of those writing reviews here. She gave my wife a pass on not one but something like a dozen violations of the mediation agreement. And she was ready to cast me into poverty while my soon-to-be ex wife threatened milked my pension even as she hid her own pension. When I objected, Vacca terminated mediation! I found Andrea to be a wife-enabler not a mediator.

My experience was extremely negative. Had I followed the direction supported in the mediation I could have materially damaged my ability to see my children and my financial position. Fortunately I was working with my own attorney who saved me from this. To have have encouraged this direction was, in my opinion, professionally negligent.Mediation is, in my opinion, supposed to support constructive dialog. But when the mediator panders to ridiculous behavior from one of the parties the process stands no chance of succeeding.Of course I realize now that my ex-wife was never going to be reasonable or constructive, but to allow such behavior to persist during mediation meant a waste of time and money.

2022-06-04Was struggling with getting my divorce done, until I ran into Andrea Vacca. It wasnt the happiest of times for me, but Andrea was great. She is pleasant to deal with and she just took care of it. Besides having a few calls, I only saw her one more time and that was to pickup the documents to sign. I went over, signed and that was it. I would very much recommend Vacca Family Law to others.

2021-07-27Andrea and her team were incredibly helpful and extremely kind and professional in navigating what is typically considered a difficult and complicated legal process. While going through the divorce proceedings they were thorough and efficient in explaining the process, why certain protections were important for me to consider, and they took a long view of my needs while providing guidance with a lot of empathy and a personal touch. Not only did they pay attention to where my proceedings stood and paid close attention to details and timing, during covid when the courts were shut down, but proactively kept me posted on how things were progressing. 2020-12-31I am the president of Heron Wealth, serving executive families in New York City and the surrounding area. For years, I have sent my clients to Vacca Family Law Group to for pre-nuptial work, and for divorce mediation when that service becomes necessary.So when I married recently myself, I went straight to Andrea Vacca to represent my interests in preparing our pre-nuptial agreement. It was a second marriage for both parties, so details were a little complicated, but Andrea did a great job of interviewing me to get all the information, and then working in a friendly and collegial manner with my fiancées attorney to draft and finalize our agreement. The whole process took two months start to finish, and was signed and notarized over Zoom.Professional and responsive!
