10/18/21Service DepartmentManagerVail GMC606 Bedford RdBedford HillsNew York, 10507Dear Service Department:Hello there I have been bringing my 2004 Yukon to you guys since 2006. I have always gotten good service and pricing. Danny in the parts department is a number one. And Steve Ford the service manager who is no longer there was always a straight shooter. I say all that too say my last visit was a little disappointing. I brought my truck in on 10/01/21 for a New York State inspection. And to my surprise I was told that GOD was on my side. My brake hose had broken and I needed all four calibers that are beyond repair. I was informed what had to be replaced and the labor involved I Okayed the work. On 10/04/21 I received a call that all parts and work was completed. I made my payment of $1,915.64 over the phone. And picked the truck up that evening. The next day I was cleaning my truck and noticed that only one caliber a 3 hoses was replaced. I then called you guys about the issue. And I was told I was billed incorrectly for the parts and work that was done and the bill will be corrected. I received on 10/15/21 a refund of $292.16 for parts only.I have a problem with that and what troubles me is how do we go from GOD was on your side situation. To a $1,915.64 for 4 calibers, pipe kit and other parts and labor which was $1,157.00. To 1 caliber and 3 brake hoses in which labor was still $1,157.00 and now everything is safe. And just a $292.16 was refunded. I have gotten more labor intense work preformed by you guy. For less than $1,157.00, which seems a bit excessive for 1 caliber and 3 brake lines. I would think for the work that was performed it would take less time and labor and the taxes would be different as the grand total is lower. I have attached a copy of the invoice and refund check. Please feel free to reach out to me so I can have a better understanding of this bill and peace of mind of what work was actually performed on the truck.Sincerely,SEAN E. DAVISOwner
They were great until they knew I wouldn’t be leasing with them again.Upon trying to return my vehicle I was told there was “no room in the lot due to covid” and that I needed to “work with them through this difficult time” I expressed many times that I was close to going over my mileage and needed to get rid of this car. Instead of offering to help me find a dealership with room to return my car their customer service was absolutely horrendous. After having to drive my car for an additional 2+ weeks naturally I’m over mileage. I was told I should “stop driving and should have paid closer attention to my mileage.” Please tell me how a single working mother is supposed to just STOP driving when I’ve been trying to return the car for WEEKS. They expect you to work with them yet no one has worked with me.Now they are fighting me to pay the $82 overage charge on mileage. Denise, Desmond and Carl have been no help, and don’t bother calling for Greg the owner and Larry the general manager have YET to return one phone call.I finally had to call GM financial- so I wouldn’t get penalized by the bank for not returning the car on time, I had to contact multiple other dealerships to find one that would take my car. It has been nothing but a nightmare since the minute they found out I wasn’t leasing with them again. It is absolutely criminal what they did to me. Leaser beware they truly have the worst customer service.
The entire staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment I walked in the door. I walked in to the Showroom, felt very comfortable and purchased a GMC Yukon essentially on the spot. I was so impressed I left my Cadillac Escalade with the Service Department. I received a call from Service the following morning that my Escalade was ready. The team at Vail are all absolute professionals. Thank you all for making the process so efficient and paying close attention to the details.Best,Matthew Beobide
The team at Vail made this vehicle purchase easy and enjoyable. Larry and Luke were wonderful to work with and Barry was extremely thorough in explaining all the vehicle features so I was completely comfortable driving my new Terrain. I would recommend anyone looking for a Buick or GMC head to Vail.
The managers and staff at Vail Buick GMC conduct themselves in a very professional and courteous manner. I have consistently found the managers and staff to be knowledgeable, very helpful, and very responsive to any of my requests for service or information regarding my vehicles. .
Horrible for leasing!! They show ZERO customer loyalty if you try to lease another vehicle with them. They will offer you a lesser model for hundreds more a month. This happened to BOTH my sister and I when we leased. Once forced to go to another brand we were met with insane fees. They dont work with you. Period. They even REFUSED to take my sisters car back last month (Feb 2021) even when her lease was up! They literally wouldnt take it back claiming they had no room, AND to top it off they charged her for going over her miles when they were the direct cause of her going over the small amount that she did. They promised she wouldnt be responsible for the overage and of course she now is getting billed. GM Financial did nothing to help either. Disgraceful!
Everything at Vail is top notch - Larry Parisi is the consummate professional and treats everyone that comes in as a VIP. The Service Department personnel are wonderful. They listen, they take notes, they return calls. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Vail. Will definitely be in to see Larry when my lease is up.
Went in to test drive some trucks. Upon entering the door I was verbally attacked by the over bearing sales manager, some Indian guy. He came off VERY aggressive and seemingly tried to shoo me out the door within seconds telling me they had NOTHING in my modest price range..... interesting strategy. He also made sure to interrupt my conversation with my salesman, interjecting himself showing a lack of interpersonal skills and respect for his staff.Experience turned around when I sat down with my salesman, Irving Zaks (Irv). He was professional, respectful and knowledgeable. He’s the only reason I would return to this dealership. Highly recommend him as he is the reason I am not giving 1 star to this place!
I bought a 15 yukon xl from Bryan I gave them 15k down and was giving a warranty and since I’m not from the area I asked them could I servicing at any GMC dealership their response was yes of course has the same credentials as a GM warranty and now I’m bringing my car into service at a dealership near me and apparently I’m not in the mileage range from the dealership where bought my vehicle ( Vail Buick) to where My vehicle is being serviced. witch is 40 miles and where I’m servicing it is 41 miles and now I’m trying to get a hold of bryan or anyone for that matter at vail Buick and no one is answering my phone calls I’ve been on the phone with them all day through the dealership and where my car is getting serviced and with my warranty company absolutely awful Experience I can’t believe I buy a $66,000 truck and I have to go threw this I will never buy a vehicle from Vail Buick GMC if they do not offer a GM warrantyIf you have any issues give them a call and Speak to Larry he’s fair and respectable guy that cares about the customers and is willing to help and do what needs to be done I greatly appreciate the help Larry he fix the issue that I was having
Was in the process of getting a used vehicle and they sold the vehicle while I was in the process of getting the car loan from the bank. The bank already had the VIN# amongst other details, and simply needed the final asking price including all taxes and fees. Vail Buick GMC returned my deposit without letting me know first and then ignored communication with me when I attempted to reach out to them to finalize the purchase, before deciding to sell the vehicle to someone else. They haven’t gave an apology or tried to get a similar vehicle yet despite saying they would. Considering their $75 doc fee and other incentives, I would have assumed they would be a great choice for a car purchase, but I assumed wrong. Lack of communication while finalizing a purchase is unprofessional.PLEASE do not do business with them. If Vail Buick decides to reply to this message, do not disclose confidential information regarding my purchase, thank you.
Guy and Luke were great from my first phone call to post sale, they have been so nice and helpful. They have gone above and beyond. This dealer is straight forward, no hidden prep or doc fees. I walked out of 3 other dealerships, feeling disheartened, before i found them. Highly recommend!
Vail Buick was speedy, accommodating, and kind when helping me get the car that I wanted! It was a pleasure to work with them, and I could not be happier with the service. They did everything they could to help me get my first car at a good price and with ease! No terrible, long, car dealership experience here :)
If I could give ZERO stars I would do it. Luke has told me for months and months that he is working on my extended warranty refund and nothing has happened. I finally spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone with GMC only to find out that Luke never even called them and the refund is not initiated. They live up to the definition of a dishonest car dealer. They want to make the sale, but once they do that- you are dead to them.
We traveled to Vail from Central New York (5 hours) to trade in a car for a new one we saw online. The transaction once we got there was seamless. The people there were fantastic. We were out of the dealership and headed home within an hour. The car did have an unseen issue thats covered under warranty, so no blame on the dealership at all.I would highly recommend this place.
I purchased a pre-owned 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 from Vail Buick GMC. While the sales and financing process was decent, my problem comes from the service department. I payed the full asking price for the truck, in agreement that the backup camera and service trailer brake indicator was cleared. Upon picking up the truck the backup camera was fixed, however, the service trailer brake warning light was still on. I approached the GM about this issue, and apparently the mechanics spent 8 hours trying to figure out how to clear it, and couldnt.Next, I noticed a bad vibration at highway speeds (the test drive did not include any highway speeds). I brought the truck back into the dealership, and got a call saying the problem was fixed a few days later. I left the dealership only to notice a ticking sound coming from both front wheels, and immediately turned around. I wonder if they ever test drove the truck to make sure the issue had been fixed. I had to then leave the truck there another day only to find out the sticky weights to balance the wheels were not secured properly.I picked up the truck a second time, only to experience the same vibration issue on the highway! Fed up at this point, I took it to an independent diesel mechanic. He noticed the wheels were very out of balance, and the wrong type of weight was used. I ended up needing to purchase two new tie rods for the truck as well. Sometimes free doesnt always mean better. I would rather pay someone that knows what they are doing, rather than bring it to a place thats trying to fix the issue as cheap as possible. This is the second vehicle my family purchased from this dealership, and certainly will be the last.
I called in for a price on a 2012 GMC and Denise was fantastic. She didnt give me the run around I had gotten on a couple of my previous places I had called. Answered my questions straight forward and accurate. She set a time for the Arcadia to be test driven, it was ready, clean and when we sat down to negotiate it was simple and fast. Jack the sales manager explained some things about my trade and that portion went much faster and smoother than previous transactions I had had at other dealerships.I strongly recommend them for your next purchase.
I leased a GMC Terrain SLT from Vail a few days ago. The whole experience was great, friendly and low pressure. Id definitely recommend them. This is my first GMC (Ive wanted one for a long time) and it wont be my last with these guys. A great experience, all in all. I liked the way they worked and from the moment we sat down they tried to find us a deal with discounts and everything on our wish list in a GMC Terrain. Jack, John, Barry, Monty and the team are awesome! Thank you for a fantastic buying experience!
Every single time Im at this dealership its a disaster. Two hours for an oil change and new wiper blades. I wasnt told that they needed to get the wiper blades from another dealer, and thats why its so long. The service manager was nice about it, and I could tell the adviser was new, but why wasnt I just told? Also, I realized as I was driving to pick up my kids (which I was late to) that the cover for one of the wipers was never put on. So two hours later, late to get my kids, and the job wasnt even finished. Very frustrating experience. If it was a one time thing I wouldnt be too concerned, but every interaction Ive had with this dealership has been a mess, from buying the car to service appointments.Very disappointed in VAIL.
We leased a car at Vail three years ago and had a great experience, particularly with the Sales Manager Larry Parisi. He wanted to be sure our needs were met and we were pleased with everything relating to our leasing experience. We went back again recently researching cars. Larry again came over to see us. He tried to arrange for the best possible lease price, and gave us great tips regarding having our car evaluated and repaired to avoid excessive cost to us. He isnt even sure we will be leasing another GMC product this time. He went above and beyond. Great customer experience.
My wife and I purchased two new vehicles from Vail on 10-31-17, a 2017 Acadia Limited and a 2500 HD Sierra Denali Diesel. Weve had both vehicles at the shop several times for service. When re-flashing the computer so solve a recall issue on the truck they shut off the cold start option in the middle of winter. When I brought it back in they had the truck all day and couldnt figure out how to turn it back on. When I picked it up after closing it was backed into a pine tree with a branch bent up over the tailgate on a brand new vehicle. I was able to research solve the problem on my own within an hour using a quick internet search and the diesel manual that came with the truck...and Im not a Diesel Technician. During the most recent visit with the Acadia the complaint was a rattling in the front end. They changed the front sway bar and links (under warranty) but I quickly realized after picking it up that the rattle is still there. The problem isnt fixed. Further, even though they had both front tires off the vehicle to do this repair, they failed to do the tire rotation that I requested. I declined a $90 oil change on the vehicle because I felt that it was very expensive and found out that I could get the same oil change (with the tire rotation, and topping off of all fluids included) for $50 at another GMC dealer a little farther from my home. Every time we go to Vail they have a new service manager or new service team members. It is impossible to form a relationship with the dealership and their diagnostic and repair skills are seriously lacking. I have also tried to make a service appointment for my truck when we dropped off the Acadia but the service team member asked me to make the appointment at another time...there was only 1 other customer in the shop so I dont understand how he was too busy to make an appointment. At this time we have realized this dealer does not value us as customers and will not be returning. We have found another dealer who is more knowledgeable and takes the time to listen, diagnose and fix our vehicles properly.Brien Slockbower
I called in for a price on a 2013 Honda CR-V and Kion took the calls and was very helpful. This was the 3rd place I had call and finally I got someone who would tell me about the vehicle, send me additional pictures and not just keep saying, come on in. I wanted answers first. Larry was the guy that helped with the pricing and he too was very straight forward, no games. Then the best part was when I went in to take delivery, it was fast, professional and overall it was a great experience.
I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this place. My husband and I bought a certified pre-owned Yukon Denali XL and two weeks after buying it we had to bring it in because the check engine light came on. It sat at the dealer for days before we got a call from service telling us we needed a brand new engine. Needless to say we were extremely pissed and told them we wanted to speak to someone in sales about replacing the vehicle because we were obviously sold a lemon. We left several messages for the sales managers and no one EVER returned our calls. We got GMC corporate involved and they told us Vail was not willing to work with us for getting a new vehicle and the best they would do is replace the engine. We weren’t given a choice and had to keep the truck. It took over a month for us to get the truck back. Shortly after picking it up I had to bring it back again because the DVD player stopped working, the heated seats don’t work and there was a problem with the gas gage. I had to wait over a week to get it back. I picked it up and only thing that was fixed was the gas gage. The heated seats still don’t work and I have to wait for a piece to come in to figure out what’s wrong with the DVD player. It’s a huge inconvenience for me to keep having to drop my truck off every few weeks because we were sold a lemon. I have 3 children, two of which are in car seats and I work full time. If I could give a zero rating I would.
Amazing staff! Gorgeous fleet of cars! I wouldnt consider going anywhere else. I feel like the car buying process is typically nervewracking and stressful so I used to avoid it at all costs. After my experience at Vail, I can honestly say that it was an exciting and pleasurable experience. The staff members guided me through the process and resolved any issues that arised along the way such as with my previous vehicle, my new car insurance company and with the DMW.....you name it, they took care of it for me. They made sure I was left with little to no work to do. Everyone at Vail is always smiling and so kind, professional and full of positive energy. I never felt comfortable in a car dealership as I did there. There was no pressure put on me whatsoever. Dave, Jack and Larry were of tremendous assistance throughout the process just to name a few employees. They were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to work with me. I could tell their number one goal was to make me happy and get me the car I wanted in the price range I discussed. I feel that I received optimal customer service at Vail and I may just be a Buick customer for life. I would never go back to my previous Brands of vehicles. Ive had my fair share of experiences with car dealerships and I must say that Vail Buick GMC is the best thus far. They did everything in order to ensure my wants and needs were met. I left the dealership with a gorgeous Encore in the exact color I wanted equipped with all the bells and whistles for an amazing price....even lower than my price range! I couldnt be any more pleased. If anyone is looking to buy or lease a car, I would highly recommend you stop by Vail and experience it for yourself.
I just bought my 2014 Ford Fusion and I couldnt be any happier. The car was used but when I saw it in my driveway it looked like it just came off the showcase! The team that Larry Parisi has is nothing but amazing! From the carpets to the last piece of the front end everything was spotless and looked brand new. Larry was patient and gave me exactly what I wanted and couldnt of asked for a better experience. Hes knowledgeable to no end and hes a great person to work with. All the workers are friendly and made my experience buying my ford fusion a very pleasurable and happy one. I would recommend everyone and anyone to go check them out if your interested in buying a car. The utmost respect for everyone who walks in the door and youll be pleased from the moment you walk in until you have the keys in the ignition.
UNBELIEVABLE ! My wife is so excited about her new vehicle and the way she was treated by the Vail staff. From Barry and his infinite wisdom of every detail related to the initial set up of the vehicle, to Brian with his expertise and flair for paperwork and figures, every last detail was covered. Most of all, I cannot praise Larry Parisi enough for his passion, drive and willingness to do whatever it takes to make the customer satisfied. The Vail family should be very grateful to have someone like Larry Parisi as their manager and representing their dealership. Thank you again for making our experience as smooth and as painless as possible !
This was my first time buying a car out of state because I am from Connecticut. First the internet girl exceeded my expectations, being professional, answering questions, emails and sending additional photos. The salesman and the finance lady were never pushy and very clear on everything. I left the same day with the vehicle and transfer plates and got my Connecticut plates by mail before 3 weeks, all went smooth. The only thing that I had to do was to get a VIN verification in CT, at an emissions center for $10 and email it to Vail Buick GMC. I would recommend this dealer due to its professionalism in the automotive industry.
At the beginning, I had made an appointment with the service manager, Steve. When I showed up for the apt, he told me that they couldnt start for an hour, when I asked why I bothered to make the appt., he gave me the excuse that one of his mechanics was out sick, so I ask him why he didnt bother to call me to reschedule.I asked for service for 3 things; heat, cruise control, battery. They took apart my dash to find the problem with the heat. Their solution was to put in a piece that needed to be replaced, but it was too expensive, so I passed on this problem. They also told me that I needed a NEW BATTERY. I approved this, and they installed a NEW BATTERY.When I asked about the cruise control, Steve told me that he forgot and that he would look at it. he opened my hood, looked around for 1 1/2 minutes and told me that it would take longer for him to go back and see what the problem was, this after waiting for 2 hours.I left very unhappy with the service and I noticed that now there were noises coming from my dash and from under the hood, which I didnt have before I took my car in.I contacted the service department again and explains that I was not hearing noises.I again brought my car in to clear up this problem. After another hour of waiting, Steve told me that it was because of the part I needed, and I asked why would I have a NEW PROBLEM of noises when I didnt have it before. I was again given no answer. They again told me that they looked at my cruise control and they couldnt find the problem. After having to go back twice, and spending 3 hours I ended up with noise that I never had before, a New Battery which I wasnt even sure that I needed, and No cruise control.I will never go back to this service department.
Excited to buy a car today for our growing family that we had researched at length & test-drove earlier this week & then made an appointment with same sales rep post-holiday to (hopefully) buy, and we were just told it was sold without his knowledge. Disorganized? Yes. Possibly a scam? Lets hope not. We wont be returning.
I have nothing to say about the service it was as I should expect shelling out cash money for a car. I am not happy with the situation about the condition of my car. I test drove a beautiful Nissan Armada Platinum. Great used car in excellent condition and a fair price....not a great price but fair and I have no problem with what I paid. When I came to hand it my certified check and pick up the car I test drove I found a surprise. If I was not such a curios person and less attentive to detail Im not sure I would have seen this mess. The car in a 24 hour time had been damaged on the right fender. the sales rep tried to tell me that the damage was there. 1 before I was a Chef in my youth my job was to detail cars. I can spot damage and there is no way I walked this car and didnt see that extensive damage. Also if anyone is used to the Hudson Valley you know about pollen. The yellow dust that settles on everything. Anyway my car was covered in pollen every door every side EVERYWHERE except the damaged area. they tried to touch it up and cover it up and play me. I dont like being worked over by scammers. The funny thing is during my purchase and test drive the dealer(Vail GMC) had to move all of the their inventory from one lot to another. So I understand with the rush and hustle and bustle f moving all of their stock to another lot that an accident can happen but they should fix the problem and make it right not try to put the problem to the customer. I took the car but was not happy about it. I was in great condition other than the scratches and dented right fender. I would not buy another car from them again.
A couple of years ago my mother went to Vail for an oil change and the service rep Steve Ford came out and told her she needed new wipers and showed her a ripped apart blade. The new wipers were $30 a piece which is more than double what they cost in an auto parts store. I had just replaced the wipers a month earlier and the way they were literally pulled apart it would have been impossible for them to have been on the truck in that condition. They also conned her into a new serpentine belt that I doubt was needed.I called and left several messages for the general manager and none were returned, I had to contact GMC and file a complaint. GMC tried to contact Vail and I was told they were not responding to the complaint. GMC ended up giving me a credit that I could use for service at another dealership. This dealership completely lacks any integrity and takes advantage of senior citizens, like my mother, that they think dont know any better. I will never come here again and I suggest that everyone stay away from Vail!
Recently leased a new vehicle at Vail. Larry was an absolute pleasure, courteous, helpful, respectable and knowledgable. Have leased many cars over the years and Our experience at Vail was by far the best experience. From sales to finance, down to our new car demo the team was awesome!
I have been trying to get the second set of keys for over a year. The whole experience was ridiculous. I buy a vehicle every two years and have never had to deal with so much incompetence. I have dealt with the manager Mike and the gm Larry. I still have no keys. Make sure you get everything you need when you are there if you foolishly decide to purchase a vehicle feom them as voicemails and messages are not returned and you enjoy being lied too.
I recently purchased a 2016 Buick Encore from Vail Buick GMC in Beford Hills NY. I had done a lot of research before deciding on a car and the Buick Encore met all my requirements. My experience at the dealership couldnt have been better. I was able to get the vehicle I wanted and all the incentives I qualified for. The salesman was extremely helpful as well as the finance department. All my questions were answered and they took the stress out of the car buying experience. I would definitely recommend the Buick Encore and Vail Buick GMC to my family and friends.
I trust the mechanic to be honest and the dealership to stand by the repairs. You get double charged for some labor when multiple things are done. Rate is $140/hour. I was charged $585 labor. Car was there 9:35 for 9:45 appt. I left at 12:50. That is approx 3.5 hours. That does not equal $585.
BAD SITUATION MADE WORSE BY VAIL SERVICE and SALES!!! Brought my truck in for a check engine light in mid December and paid over $1000 for new plugs, wires, ignition coil, etc. I didnt drive the truck for 2 weeks over the holidays and a month later, check engine light came on again. This time I was told it needed an oil pressure sensor and battery and the bill was $436... $119 of which was just to read the check engine code (which AutoZone does for free btw). While driving home from the Vail THAT NIGHT, the engine light came on again! I immediately returned the vehicle which was held for 3 days before being told the engine NOW had a knock and would need another coil and injector and 3-4 hours of service to diagnose the engine problem if I wanted to repair the knock. Rob said I was getting a break for all diagnosis and would only owed $158 for the new parts they installed in an engine that was about to BLOW!At this point I decided to look into trading in the vehicle and leasing a new one when I met Stacy and Larry from Sales. Larry, sales manager, was actually was very helpful and gave a very fair offer for the trade in and offered to take care of the $158 bill I still owed service. Stacy on the other hand, never explained the full details of the sale, that I would have to have my girlfriend co-sign the lease in order to get the best deal which we already shook hands on. She also miscalculated the local taxes on the vehicle, needless to say the agreed price of the lease kept getting higher and higher. After all the frustrations with both the sales and service departments, I decided to trade my vehicle into and and lease a new truck from Curry Chevrolet in Scarsdale which was a pleasure to dealing with. Its incredible to me that a CERTIFIED service department would perform over $1600 of work on a vehicle which supposedly had a bad motor. I understand the vehicle had 127k miles, which is not a lot for a 5.3L motor, but the misdiagnosis and unnecessary repairs (new battery, coil, & injector on a knocking motor!) are unacceptable. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE
I walked in to look at a Yukon and Carl started showing me the Buick Enclave, which I had never even seen before and I certainly was not going to consider a Buick! I had my three young boys in tow and my mother in law to boot. The staff was amazing, they turned on cartoons for my kids gave them hot chocolate and let them play with iPads. Took the car out for a drive and got an amazing deal! I would totally recommend Vail and I absolutely love my new Enclave! Top notch sales experience!
Be ware, don’t buy the extended warranty for your new car. Warranty is a waste of money. After a few times of taking my currently, 40,000 miles, 2016, Sierra 1500 for repairs. I have no AC because I’m told that there is no refrigerant in the system, a noice in the driveshaft that has never been fixed because I’m told that nothing is wrong with my truck every time that they checked for the noice. And had to pay for a broken wire that stoped my engine radiator fan from working. Bad luck, maybe. You be the judge.
Without question detailed customer service that has long been forgotten. hands down the best car buying experience i have ever had, as well as the best costomer service on any purchase i have ever had. from the management to sales to financing to the detailing of the truck i purchased. further the price of the truck and the quality of the certified pre owned vehicle, i came out with way more value than i could have hoped for. i searched for 5 months for the right buy and went through countless dealerships. countless careless inattentive sales people who knew nothing about the vehicles they were selling i refused to buy a truck from. you would be doing yourself a diservice by not visiting the dealership. i am retired from law enforcement and know full well what customer service and professionalism is, this is it.thank you vail buick gmc
Failed to return three phone calls. Thats not a typo. Yes, 3. Would not stand behind their product. Attempted to distance themselves from the product they sell, included in their brand name, and their dealership. A void. Avoid. A V O I D. Avoid.Got a call back from Eric, the service manager on Monday the 9th after posting the original review on Saturday, the 7th. Not sure what his objective was. But nothing was accomplished. A whole lot of deflection, with no reflection. I think he was trying to convince me that I shouldnt have slammed them but showed less interest in actually understanding what happened. Never once did he offer to do anything for the issue or to come to a happy middle ground. Honestly, he seemed more upset at the poor review, regardless of what prompted it.
Wow. I have never been treated like that before. I didnt fit there crytearia so nobody came out. Whent in and talked to Jim.Said Im looking for a full size SUV.Looked at me like I ordered a bologna sandwich. Then one of the old guys that I call (Hand Shake Guys) came out and told me the promotion ended on the 12th.Im totally confused at this point. Then he did it. He made a motion like he was cleaning his hands and said we are getting close to closing time, Jim why dont you get his info. I just left in disbelief.Within the week I bought an Escalade ESV not in Westchester ny
Very helpful in explaining the features of each model we were interested in and helping us to find the suv we wanted. Also very attentive in providing the necessary information for operating, maintainence and flexibility of scheduling service. Completely satisfied with Vail and my vehicle.
Worst service ever! They had my car for a week and still couldnt fix the problem. Brought it in with a check engine light on and got it back with the light on. They could never give you a call back when you requested one. i will never buy another car from them. Horrible customer service

2022-01-09I’ve bought and serviced several vehicles at Vail. Yesterday was by far the best experience yet compared to so many other great ones I’ve had there. Luke and Larry were amazing and made the whole process so simple I just had to come up and pick it up. I got all the bells and whistles for an affordable price with my new 2022 GMC Terrain. I’ve dealt with other dealers and even worked for one many years ago but Larry and Luke are completely honest, there’s no hidden fees, no sales pitches. They give you everything they can for your buck which is extremely hard to find these days. I highly recommend Vail Buick GMC to anyone looking for a great car/truck for a great deal. And the service and parts are amazing too!

2021-10-19Perfect place to purchase a new vehicle. Luke, the finance guy is AWESOME! He takes the time to help you through the entire car buying process. If you need guidance, he provides it. He made my experience with Vail Buick GMC so good, that I will purchase my next vehicle there. The entire process was like no other. This dealership is highly recommended and was worth the long 105 mile drive to pick up my truck. No disappointments with this place....

2022-02-05We live out of state and called this dealership and offered to drive four hours to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. They had a vehicle on their website that we asked about and they stated they had it. On their website its listed for 45,910 and told us that they would charge us an additional 5k over sticker price because of the current situations of covid times and that everyone is doing this and they are trying to make money. Do NOT go to this dealership. They will charge you way more than what the vehicle is even worth.I would never ever recommend this dealership to anyone ever! Buyer beware!!!

2022-05-13My 2012 LaCrosse was suffering from squeaky, grabby rear brakes for some months. I live in a senior living facility, and after my wife died last Thanksgiving, I have not been using the car very much, so I put off calling Vail Buick for an investigation and fix. When I could stand the squeaks no longer, I called them for help, and got an immediate appointment for 36 hours later. They were understanding and helpful, and although I elected to wait an additional 24 hours in order to get genuine GM parts, they were very prompt with the repair and with notifying me. I couldnt be more pleased! I wish only that Buick still made sedans!

2022-05-19Thank you to Andy from the Buick Service Department for helping me with my cars airbag recall. Very professional! He went the extra mile to follow up with me and was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be visiting this location again to service my car in the future. Thank you!

2021-11-20Wow, where do I even begin? It is a really tough time to buy a car in this Covid market but Vail made our dream order come true. I was updated all along the way and they never threw any surprises at me. Once our rare 2021Yukon arrived they maintained their word and still gave us the best deal around. Thank you LARRY and team for the best mew car purchasing experience we ever had.

2021-08-09Sales team was good. Service is horrible. We leased and bought two cars through Vail. Honestly, we had great experiences with the sales team. Their original service team was good too, but in the past years the service has become abrasive, and careless. We would take the car in multiple times for the same issue with new charges each time, and customer service is rude and could care less for your business. Weve moved on. Feel free to take your own chances.
