I had the Pleasure of meeting Steve he had wonderful customer service. He was able to find the problem right away and fix it. He also help me sign up to get regular maintenance done On my furnace. Thank you very much for the wonderful work . And taking time to explain things to me. I would highly recommend this company.
Very quick response and they were able to come less than a week after the initial quote. They did a great job installing and only took half a day. I work from home and I never heard them as they were extremely professional. Would recommend this company and would use again.
As always, Vastola is available, on time and extremely helpful! We have an older furnace and instead of pushing to sell me a new one they have helped keep this tank going. All their service providers are professional and respectful.

Serviced by a very knowledgeable, polite, & respectful young man, Stephen. Stephen also serviced our generator last year. He provided clear information even going extra mile looking up part information that would be needed in future. The office staff also very polite/friendly, called when the technician was running late asking if we still wanted him to come or reschedule.
I had a service appointment scheduled for 1pm on Friday July 10th. Had to miss a half day of work to be there. At 12:45 received a call from Vastola stating my tech had an emergency and had to leave so they needed to reschedule. Reschedule for the next day at noon. Next day nobody showed and nobody called. At 3:45 called them at got there answering service. They stated they would call the tech on call and he would give me a call back. Never received any call. Monday finally received a call and told them I would be taking my business elsewhere. Good luck if you choose to use Vastola.
Cant say enough about my positive experience with Vastola! From sales rep CJ to Bob and Danny who installed our air conditioner. So happy I have finally found a reliable heating and cooling company.....HIGHLY recommend!

Ive worked with alot of contractors over the years and can tell you these guys are top notch.Not only are the employees of Vastola responsible, respectful and extremely qualified, but the company all together has great structure. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely awful customer service. On one of the coldest days of the year my rooftop heating unit was malfunctioning. Called them up and told them this, including the fact that it was on the roof, the manufacturer of the unit, everything they would need to make any repairs. They said they would send someone out the next day. When the service tech arrived the next day he took one look at the unit, changed the batteries in the thermostat and said his foot hurt and he didnt want to climb a ladder, and that I should probably call a different company, but that they would send a different tech out in the next day or so. I immediately called there service center and was told there was nothing they could do and they would have someone out eventually. I called a different company and was told they would have someone out within the hour. I highly recommend you go somewhere else for service. I cant believe how unprofessional this company is and how lazy their employees are.
We were in need of a new furnace in the middle of January. Vastola was able to make a service call, quote the job and complete installation in less than a week. The best part....they were 40% less than their competitors, apples to apples!!!! THANK YOU CJ Schalberg and Vastola for outstanding service, quality equipment and great cost!
Excellent customer service and professional installation of our new 2 stage Lennox furnace. Everyone from the initial phone call to the knowledgeable sales dept. to the installers were all very attentive and professional. We would highly recommend Vastola for your heating and AC. They were great!
Have used them before for the same issue, a gas valve on a tank less hot water system. less than two years the same issue is happening, I was willing to use them again to fix it again as the issue is how it was installed by the home builder not from the repair they did. The reason I am giving this bad review is that this time for the same repair they tried to over double the price from what it was from the last time. The part is online for 93.00 they wanted to charge me 245.00 plus 20.00 for shipping because their supply house did not have it in stock. I paid 150.00 the last time they fixed it. so them making 50.00 off the part I guess was not enough and they think making 150.00 is the right thing to charge ( can we say Price Gouging ) That alone says how they treat repeat customers. Then i found a brand new system online for 850.00 and they said they wanted 1700.00 to install it. So let’s break this amount down. LOL. I buy the unit for 850.00 all they have to do is install it. It calls for 3 hours and one person to do it, since it is just a swap of a unit, all the gas pipes and the exhaust and no electrical work required as they are already installed. So they are trying to say that their hourly rate then is 566.00 an hour, I laughed at this one. It was also agreed on that this would be just an install with zero warranty, I understood this since i was buying the unit online. I know these companies need to make money but let’s be reasonable here folks. In short this company had no professionalism and dont care about anything besides over charging. The rep I spoke to flat out said we dont like it when customer buy their own parts because we make money there. I get that but 250% mark up. SO if you want to over pay for work and parts then by all means call them.
I couldnt imagine a worse contractor than vastola heating and cooling, they couldnt figure out how to do their jobs even if I drew it out for them in crayon, they continue to mess with other peoples work when they cant even do their jobs correctly, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to even my worst enemy.
Do not try to contact them by their email, their response is nonexistent. I understand it is the Holiday season, but common, I get 20 to 30 emails a day at my place of employment and any failure to respond could be catastrophic to the operation. I cannot judge their service department, but if their response is as effortless as the other aspects of the “contact us” field are their website, I would recommend alternative choices. If the prefer a phone call, please state that!

I had a 430pm appointment. The office called around 4pm and said the tech would be there at 530pm and would call me. At710pm he still was not at my house and I called the office to tell them I had to leave to go to a wake that was o lt till 8pm! Never heard back from them

Called a week ago or so. Having an issue with my unit. Durea was absolutely amazing and helped me work the problem. At the end I needed your guys. But she was amazing with the help.
We had a Generac generator installed by Vastola back in March. Since then our generator stopped going through the test mode and has required several service calls and new parts. The generator has been out of service longer than in service. Luckily we havent had the need to use it. Its very concerning to think of these issues and new parts needed for a brand new generator but Im told it is not uncommon.Yes our salesman Rick has always been quite attentive/ Don - who has been doing our service is quite friendly and appears to be good at what he does and Mark has been conscientious in following up with us..but it still doesnt provide any comfort level that I havent bought a lemon.
We have had them install over the last few months a whole house generator, tankless hot water heater, and today several split a/c units. Since day 1, CJ has been phenomenal with any and all our sales and installation questions. All our installers were GREAT!! Today’s A/C installers, Dylan and Bob, were professional, personable and top-notch ESPECIALLY given the high temperatures yesterday and today!! I highly recommend Vastola!!!!

Our heater failed during a February 2015 cold spell. The decision was made to replace the aging system, and add an air conditioning unit as well.They removed the old furnaces and replaced with 2 new units and an outside A/ C unit in a matter of 4 days.All 3 units have worked flawlessly the past 12 months.Would highly recommend Vastola for your heating needs.
Another awesome service call today by Vastola. Duff did an excellent job and explained everything that happened to cause my issues with my furnace. (Spiders made a home in my burner!!) I wasnt told I needed a new furnace , I was not up-sold for any other services, and Duff was there when Vastola said he would be. Ive always trusted Vastola and will continue to do so. If you are searching for honest and fair service, I recommend Vastola without hesitation.
Could not recommend Vastola more highly. Saved the day with a broken furnace in two of my houses over the years. Within an hour of my weekend call, someone was here and we had heat again. Would use them again and again for any heating and cooling needs.

2022-07-15I chose Vastola over two other companies specifically because of my experience with them in the past as far as service and the competitive pricing they offered me for my new Carrier air conditioning system and furnace. Chris Wagner is a very knowledgeable salesperson, as well as an experienced technician ..he answered all of my questions regarding my specific heating and air conditioning needs for my house, Teresa the office manager has been outstanding, she goes out of her way to specifically get you in touch with the people that you need of as far as sales and service and always responds with a very positive attitude. All in all this is a great company and if I were to do it again I would choose them again. Thank you!!!!

2022-04-21I can not speak highly enough of the service provided by CJ and his team with the installation of my furnace and hot water tank. CJ was thorough when he first came out to assess what was going on and provided excellent and consistent communication throughout the process. I had the instant feeling that he was being honest and helping me make the best quality and financial decision I could. He also took the time to show me how restart my furnace manually so my kids and I could still have heat while we waited the 2 days for installation due to the size of the project. They showed up on time for installation and worked efficiently, kept me updated on the progress, were very respectful, and even cleaned up after themselves. This is my second home and the second one I have worked with Vastola on, and I would recommend them to anyone (and I do). Thank you all so much!

2021-12-01I contacted Vastola to get an estimate to replace my old central AC unit. They were out within a week to look things over and I had an estimate a day or so following their visit. Their technician was very thorough in explaining everything to me and talking through a few options. I decided to go with Vastola and they were able to schedule my installation about a week out. Im very please with their work and their professionalism and highly recommend them.

2022-08-038/3/2022For the past 22 years we have used Vastola Heating and Cooling for our Boiler and Mitsubishi Electric wall mounted AC unit. WE could not have selected a better company to deal with!In June of 2022, we had to decide on purchasing a new boiler or continue with our 22 yr old boiler, so we called Vastola and we met Chris Wagner!He was with-out a doubt the best Sales person we ever met. He told us exactly what was wrong with our unit and what we can expect from a new unit! Last week we had our new boiler installed, on 8/3/22 he came over to go over it all and we are thankful.And...much to our delight he fully explained our Mitsbishi AC unit. We found out we have been using it incorrectly since installation (7/12/2016)! 2022-07-13Vastola went above and beyond fighting for us to get a generator in a time where they were hard to come by. Teresa especially did all she could to help us get our whole home generator as quick as she could. We are pleased with the install process.

2022-06-22New home built and used Vastola, systems were not installed properly. I’ve been calling them since the beginning of the year. They’ve come out to “look” and that’s about it. If you call you never get a person. When you do connect they say they will get back to you and never do. I wouldn’t suggest using them for a new project or a repair. Very disappointed in their service. Find someone else.

2022-02-26Requested someone go over the new whole house system, told the books are downstairs by the furnace. Installed cheap ductwork so bathroom fan is louder than it should be. Would not recommend at all.

2018-11-02Hi i just had a new furnace installed from day 1 it made noises water running and gurgling sounds they came back and they had to put a trap on that should of been on before. It made some noises but got worse They said it would go away. So Steve the Tech man was sent he was there before to tell me I needed a new furnace. Let me say he is number 1 in my book you all need to take notes from him he is extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and he had to fixed what the installers should of done.Also they didnt inspect my humidifier and it was not hookup properly, Steve did of of this for me so I give Steve 5 stars + for a great job done. The installers not so a 2 maybe 3 d/t not doing their job the right way I still would recommend you to friends because you did take care of the problem and because of Steve But may I suggest talking to the installers my furnace is harder to put in as it lays down not upward maybe more teaching is needed how to install these thank you. 2021-06-02Vastola Heating and Cooling... was called on 5-24-21 and they made a appointment to come to apartment in North Tonawanda, NY 14120. The technician arrived on the 5-28-21 at around 3pm. He did a dye diagnostic test on the central condition system and said he would return on 1-2-21. The technician did not come on 6-2-21 as promised . I was told by the property manager that Vastola heating and cooling was waiting for a air compressor and did not feel like coming to fix our apartment until the air compressor arrived for the other apartment( that is ridiculous) because he wanted to wait and fix both at same time . He should have come and fixed ours and looked at the dye reading for our apartment to see if its going to be more work or an easy fix and decided to let us wait without central air which has been almost two weeks now. This company seems to not have very good service and is not concerned in getting you up and running very fast. I am just glad we are not at 90 degrees at the moment that would not make a different to them. I give Vastola a very low grade. Make sure you check out the company before you buy, that is a very important factor should you need quick service. Do not hold your breathe with this company. I do not know where they get 5 stars because they get an F because they do not care and they are slow to get you back in service!!!!!!!!!!
