Cindy helped me purchase a Galaxy S10+. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I originally came in to pay a bill and was pleasantly surprised that Cindy not only went out of her way to explain how I could save $50 a month on my bill but also upgrade to one of the latest phones. Even my grandson was impressed when I came home and not only showed him my cool new phone, but also my new snap chat filters thanks to Cindy going out of her way to show me how to use the phone and download applications. CINDY CURRAN IS THE BEST!!!!!
Yo yo yo this is Tony Maggs! Cindy C is the best ever! She went above and beyond answering all my questions and I walked away with a smile on my face and felt like I made a new friend for life. I wont trust anyone else with my phone or account after the impeccable service I received here especially after a bad experience at another Verizon store beforehand that left me contemplating a potential switch to Sprint. I also have several friends and family members that I will be referring to Cindy. She not only saved me money on my bill, but also showed me some awesome accessories for my phone!! I would highly recommend her and hope you realize how lucky you are to have such an absolutely outstanding employee working there!!!
Cindy was great! She was extremely helpful and kind during my experience at this location. Store was neat and orderly. All staff were willing to help with my transaction. Another gentleman who was working even stopped what he was doing to help me find a phone case. Will DEFINITELY recommend to everyone I know.
I was having difficulty downloading photos from my phone. I called this store in the morning and Cindy very patiently explained the procedure to me. Unfortunately, I am an electronic dinosaur so Cindy suggested I stop by the store in the afternoon and she would SHOW me.When I got there, Cindy - who is Ms. Cindy Curran, the store manager - was assisting another customer. She greeted me and offered me seat while she finished with the other customer.I have shopped in this store many times and, as usual, it was neat, well organized, pleasant temperature, nice lighting - a GOOD feeling.The most significant part of todays visit, which I hope will get channelled up to management and out to other customers is how professionally Ms. Curran dealt with this other customer. I will give benefit of doubt and say this person was probably having a bad day, but there is absolutely NO excuse for the rude, combative attitude and behavior that was directed at the store managerI heard only snatches of what this person was saying to Cindy but it involved returning merchandise that apparently was purchased at another location without complete paperwork to show the sales tax and method of payment. I heard nothing Ms. Curran said because she didnt raise her voice and maintained a pleasant attitude and smile.One of my biggest pet peeves is people who cause scenes in public and keep trying to engage the employee in an argument - and then often report the employee in the hope of getting something free from the merchant.To her credit, not only did Ms. Curran maintain her cool, but when that individual completed their business and left Cindy came over to me simply said Im sorry for the delay. Lets see whats going on with your phone.I feel comfortable doing business with companies whose managers are obviously well trained and professional. Its indicative of good training and integrity. Verizon has a valuable asset in Ms. Cindy Curran.P/S: Cindy showed me how to access my pictures and how to set up my home printer so I.dont have to go to the drugstore toake hard copies.
I was driving in Brewster when my phone suddenly shut down and wouldnt power back on. Frantic since I was waiting for an extremely important call from my wifes doctor since she was in the hospital, I pulled into a Verizon store and thats where I met Cindy who not only greeted me but opened the door for me. I was very honest with her and told her that I was not a Verizon Customer and explained my situation to her, I really expected her to tell me to leave but instead she told me Lets not be concerned with that right now, lets get your phone working. I was so awed by the care and compassion she gave to me.She somehow got the phone to work again, I asked her what I owed her for her services and she looked at me and said absolutely nothing, just go be with your wife. I immediately made a promise to her that as soon as things calm down I will be switching my phones over to Verizon. I will not only give my business to Cindy, but I will make sure I tell everyone I know to go see her as well. I dont think there are too many people in this day and age that go over and beyond with customer service. God Bless you Cindy and Thank you, I will never forget this wonderful service you gave me! Went in to Verizon spontaneously to see if I was eligible for an upgrade and was greeted by Mickie. Super friendly, very patient and NOT pushy. I was having issues with my credit card, so his manager Cindy came over to punch the numbers in manually. Both were great and I love my new iPhone
Cindy was EXTREMELY helpful, amazing and friendly staff. Whoever gave the bad review is flat out wrong. Came in a few times, each time had different staff helping us, all were helpful, caring, funny, and just all around great people to deal with. Gave us a great deal on brand new phones. Quick and easy! Must stress, extremely helpful!!
I recently went to the Verizon store in Brewster, NY. The Manager, Cindy Curran, was one of the best Customer Service persons I have ever had to work with. My problem with setting up a new phone with the Verizon Smart Tracker was a difficult one for me, but Cindy spent a lot of time under difficult circumstances and got the job done. She truly went beyond her normal job to help me out. She was personable and knowledgeable. You’re lucky to have her on your Verizon team.
My husband and I made the decision to switch back to Verizon. While was in Brewster, my husband spoke with Cindy Curran and was impressed with her knowledge and experience. We live out of state and both drove back to speak with her further. She took the time to listen to our needs and wants, explained the different devices, offered suggestions, and recommended a plan that works best for our family. Her vast knowledge and experience is apparrent. She walked us through the whole process, and thoroughly answered all our questions and concerns. She was warm and welcoming. We felt at ease and are confident we have the right devices and plan for our familys needs.
I was passing by this Verizon store as I was going shopping to the Acme store. I decided to run in to ask a couple of questions about my phone. I was immediately greeted by Cindy and she invited me to sit at her desk while she explained so much to me in a way that even I who is far from tech savvy was able to understand it. She did not make me feel stupid like so many other places have made me feel prior, rather she made me feel like I can do things that I thought were way beyond my reach. Cindy has a great sense of humor and immediately I felt like I knew her forever. The store was immaculate and I was able to look at many other phones ,she wrote down all my options and helped me understand my plan as well. I have one more payment on my phone and I will be purchasing a new phone and a safety device that Cindy explained to me called a hum. I cant say enough and thank Cindy enough for the superb customer service I received. I will spread the word because I highly recommend everyone to shop in this Brewster location!
My husband and I decided to stop by the Verizon in Brewster. We were greeted by Cindy and she was just awesome. She explained everything we needed to know about the new phones we purchased. If you want great service I would highly recommend going to this location! Cindy Curran went over and beyond to help me retrieve some photos of my late wife. I had been to multiple stores and no one was able to find these photos that I accidentally deleted. Someone referred me to Cindy and told me she was the only person who was able to retrieve her photos. although I went to her so upset she took the time to calm me down and then asked me lots of questions about what I was doing on the phone when I deleted them, still I do not understand what I said that triggered her to immediately go somewhere on my phone and magically find my photos. I felt like I had a new best friend and a new lease on life! Cindy you will never know what you did for me and how much I appreciate you! Thank you Verizon for hiring this amazing person!

I stopped in last week to the Verizon in Brewster and was greeted by cindy. I had the best experience I have ever encountered. Cindy analyzed my bill saved me money and called me the next day to see how everything was. Told me about a promo and I can in and purchased my new phone. Fantastic service. Never been treated so well anywhere.
Cindy was amazing. She walked me through the entire process with patience and humor. When I needed to leave to pick up my grandson and his friend she continued to work on my new phone and it was ready for me when I returned. I will gladly continue to work with Cindy and Verizon
Wanted to acknowledge T.J. Tuttle for his excellent service yesterday at the Verizon - Yorktown Heights location. In spite of system issues, he patiently assisted us in upgrading (4) phones. After a number of hours and perserverance, he got us on new devices and plans that fit our family. Excellent work!!!

I went in to see about changing my service and the manager, Cindy Curran, was extremely helpful in explaining all the benefits of staying with Verizon. She had the patience to explain different ways to use my phone, something Im sure I would not get with other companies. I met cindy in Brewster over 6 months ago and switched my carrier because of her. I have been coming here and she is extremely accommodating and always helps me with all my needs. I just had the best Verizon experience of my life! I absolutely hate going into phone service stores (for obvious reasons). I went in to buy airpods and walked out with airpods, a new phone and a new contract plan. Wonder women, I mean Cindy, is an excellent leader of her team and really empressed us. Hey! I just now upgraded my phone and tablet at the Verizon in Brewster with this lovely guy named Tom swan. He spent so much time with me and explained everything so perfectly! He even let me bring my dog in. I would highly recommend this location and this salesman to be patient and kind and courteous. I cant wait to go home and start using my new devices! Cindy at this store is wonderful! She has endless patience whenever I have a question about my new (and first ever) smartphone. In addition, the store is immaculately kept and they have quite a lot of phones you can choose from. I highly recommend this store and I am very happy with Cindys customer service--she is very respectful of all customers even if they are not familiar with smartphones. A great store!
Cindy and Omar have been so helpful to me over the last 6 months. My Motorola Android was a piece of junk . Cindy had to replace the Sim card once and it continued to have problems. Today Cindy and Omar replaced my phone and transferred all of my data to my Nokia. I couldnt have gotten better service. I went to the verizon store in Brewster where I was helped by a excellent sales rep named Cindy Curran. I was inquiring about a new phone but was very confused about what to get. I was so impressed that Cindy did not immediately just try to sell me any phone but rather asked me all sorts of questions to make sure she could sell me a phone that could meet all my needs. I have been in many other stores including other verizon stores and always felt that they just wanted to sell me a phone and get me out the door as fast as possible, but Cindy really took the time because she wanted to make sure I understood everything. Also the store was immaculateculate. I will surely keep returning to this store and making sure I reccommend the store and Cindy to everyone I know. Thank you Cindy for such a pleasant experience!

I loved it am. a new customer fresh out of high school and needed a place to start so came to Verizon and thats where i met cindy Curran great lady helped figure out how I need to build my credit and how to find the right plan also started me with a nice galaxy Tab a amazing I dont know what I would do if I didnt meet cindy thank u Verizon for hiring her and thank you cindy Curran for being a great employee.
I went to the store in a panic because my well-used 5S phone died on me. I knew it was time to get a new phone. I was interested in the iPhone X.Thomas Swan was most helpful. He had an excellent knowledge of the phone I was interested in purchasing. His customer service was excellent, and I would certainly recommend my friends asking to work with him.
Ivoroy Brown was extremely helpful with assisting my wife and myself in acquiring new Google Pixel phones. He was very thorough in explaining various options in data plans. He had spent considerable time addressing our needs, got our phones up and running, and answered all our questions.
Beware, Employee Ivo-Roy Brown totally scammed my girlfriends daughter. Her iPhone 6 had an issue. She needed to get it repaired or replaced. This worker lied and said she could swap out her old 6s for a iPhone 8 plus because of a deal with Apple. He stated because of the problems that Apple admitted with the iPhone 6 series basically she would get a new upgraded Apple phone if she paid off the balance on the iPhone 6 which was $135. When she was presented with the paperwork that contracted her to buy the iPhone 8 plus she said wait this says I am buying the phone and he said DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. Once Apple receives your old iPhone 6 they will adjust the bill and it will show that you have no balance for the iPhone 8. She didnt even want the iPhone 8 plus she wanted a regular iPhone 7 but he said it is the only phone we have in stock. Since it was supposed to be a phone for phone trade she accepted the 8 plus. He said she would only see a small increase in the monthly insurance costs. When my girlfriend got her monthly statement 27 days later surprised the cost for iPhone 8 plus was charged $810 dollars in 24 monthly installments she called the store and got the phone number for the the manager. My girlfriend called the manager and he said OH No I was sitting next to your daughter and the worker the whole time the worker never said that The worker has been with Verizon for 12 years he would never do that and your daughter didnt understand and also your daughter said you (her mother) was annoying. My girlfriend explained in detail all the misleading/lying information the worker said to her daughter. The manager said no I heard it all She then said wait are you the person who sold her the phone and he paused and then said yes. He lied again the entire 18 minutes on the phone saying he was sitting next to the worker and heard the transaction. I dont know how this store got so many good reviews but I can guess! Now my girlfriend is stuck paying full price for an iPhone 8 plus because of this lying and manipulative worker. Please BEWARE and do not sign anything even if you are told it will be reversed when Verizon receives the old iPhone 6 phone. We are stuck but maybe this will help somebody else.
Was häving trouble with my phone and decided to stop in the brewster Verizon store and was helped by Cindy Curran who happened to have been the store manager. I was so impressed by her knoweledge and patience in explaining my problem I would definetly go back to this store for all my needs and highly recommend Cindy.
The absolute worst in customer service. They flat out lie to you, mislead you, and will hang up on you and then keep hanging up on you when you call back staying it was a phone malfunction . However when I called back on another phone was able to get thru. They were instructed by the corporate escalation team to phone me. Cindy and Felix were both told by corporate to call me. They did not .
Visited the store to pick up a new phone and was helped by Tommy. He was incredibly helpful with the process, friendly and knowledgable. The phone works great and he even helped place the screen protector flawlessly. The store itself was clean and very well organized.
I went to this store after I received a call from Cindy to set up an appointment to go over my account Not only did Cindy save me money on my plan when I had no idea I was accruing overages every month, she put me on an unlimited plan and now I know exactly how much my bill will be every month she also set me up with a tablet that was only a $20 line charge every month and my bill is still lower I will always go to Cindy for all my needs in the future

I dont normally post negative reviews but it has bothered me for quite a while how terribly I was taken advantage of by the older woman that seemed to be in charge and the two employees she was training at the time (teaching them how to make you bend over all the while having great big smiles and happy voices). We purchased a phone for my father to add to the account and they asked if we wanted a screen protector and a case for the phone and I thought it would be a good idea since my father is older. They offered to put the screen saver on and the case which I thought was very nice, little did I know that when I went to pay the bill I paid dearly for the case and screen protector (which I assumed since we were in the store), I paid an activation fee AND a set up fee (charged me to put the screen protector and case on) which was pretty crafty on their part. The best part was that I also had to pay Verizon an activation fee for the phone as well. We were also talked into giving up my hot spot plan and to switch to a hot spot and to give up my data plan on my laptop. Well once the hotspot was activated, I also paid an activation fee to her store for the new hot spot, I am handed the bill and I have to pay $130 for the hot spot device plus a monthly fee. I was assured that with the change in plan and using the unlimited hot spot in place of my phone having unlimited hot spot and my surface having its own unlimited data card that I would save money and I could share with more users. Fast forward a few months and needing to put my hot spot to the test and use my hot spot for a weekend for multiple users, I find out that my unlimited hotspot only gets 15 mg of high speed internet and then it reduces to below a crawl until the new cycle and the crawl speed doesnt even run one device. I realize that I should have been more aware that I was getting hosed and asked more questions but this is to warn others to make sure you ask a lot of questions before agreeing to anything at that store. I called Verizon and complained and they said they cannot do anything about it and are aware that they are charging their own activation fees even though the should not - BUYER BEWARE and buyer be smart. I understand they need to sell things to make money but they were so nice and eager and helpful and helped themselves to my wallet and made me weary of smiling, nice people. Shame on me, but I am sure its shame on them because I bet I wasnt the first to get hosed and I bet I was not the last to get hosed.

2022-08-10I was there for a problem I had with online Verizon, went to the store and Raymond was an unbelievable super hero, not only he lifted me from a two days nightmare but also sat with me for 2 hours until he fixed my problem, I do recommend this Verizon store 100% , Raymond was beyond helpful. 2021-04-23What an absolutely wonderful place to phone shop, or when your phone is not working properly. Ive known the manager, Cindy Curran, for well over 10 years, and trust me when I say she is a phone wiz! My husband and I feel so fortunate to know that we can count on Cindy 100% to assist us with any dilemma. And when your have an excellent manager, you have excellent workers. I recently purchased an LG Velvet, and love it. Check them out!!

2021-08-12My husband came to this store yesterday, August 11. He was helped by “Cindy” because his phone microphone was not working . This phone was purchased at the store. Three hours later, he came home with a non-working cell number , and more importantly , all our business clients and myself worried because we cannot reach him. We spent half of this morning communicating with Verizon and apologizing to all our clients. Verizon just confirmed that “Cindy” had started a ticket which disconnected the number we are mainly using for all our business contacts and “applied” for 4 new numbers. This is not only incompetent, it is also quite suspicious. Beware! We always go to local stores as a business owner and a resident of the area. Please keep this honest review in mind. Good luck and hope you never go through the stress our family and business went through the last 24 hours.

2020-02-25I was at the store yesterday where I was purchasing a new phone for my upgrade/problems with my old one. Cindy Curran was the one who helped me, instantly greeting my Dad and I with a big friendly smile and seeing what she could do for us. She gave me all of the options and took the time to explain them very clearly. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with and this is my dads second time having her help. He says she was the only stress free time he has had, she makes it so easy! Thank you Cindy for all your help and taking the time to explain everything thoroughly with my dad and I, and for making sure we were extremely satisfied with our service/new phone! Highly recommend!!

2021-04-14Extremely poor service. Getting a new phone took over 3 hrs.The associate who helped me was very pleasant. Unfortunately for me he was new and not well trained.I felt the team leader could have helped resolve my issues in a more timely manner. Instead she kept greeting and helping each new customer that came through the door.Very unsatisfied with the experience.BTW, they upcharge the phones from what you pay if getting direct from Verizon.

2019-09-27I first want to say the sales people, Cindy Curran and Omar Vines, are terrific. Their patience with us was wonderful. They took their time to explain our new phones and helped us set up everything. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. They have a very good rapport with people and I would not hesitate to come back to deal with them if I needed anything else from Verizon. I give them 5 stars (10 if I could).
