Absolutely great experience. Went right in and got helped right away no waiting at all. Service was great and informative and was super smooth. Was in and out in about an hour which it normally has taken me close to 3 at other locations. Will definitely go back again.
.. I called this Location directly since I have been a long time local customer, For a replacement Verizon phones. Their website said they were open till 8, but when I Called to confirm the hours and that they had my specific phone ,Abraham said they were open till 7, and they had the phone I wantedWhen I Went to the store, Alexander Assisted me. He was Helpful but He told me they had to order the phone Which would be delivered to the store in two business days and told me that they didn’t have it in stock. I went specifically to that store so that I could have a phone that night since my phone died.The only other option was a more expensive phone from an opened Display phone. I decided to go with the phone since I needed it. I asked if they could give me some sort of discount or throw in a phone case,Since it was an open box item. Alex and Abraham said the manager wasn’t there and the Mgr was the only one that can make the decision.As I’m waiting for my phone to get activated, I hear Abraham offer to the guy next to me a 10% discount for his phone and case purchase without the guy even asking for a discount.So they’re not consistent. I discovered that it’s not owned by the original owner and now called Russell cellular. I’m typically a loyal customer if I get treated right but I’m not sure if I’ll go back to that location when it’s time for a new phone again.I’ve Been a loyal customer of that business since they were in Deer Park ,many years ago. Alexander was helpful,But my overall experience with the new co was mediocre at best
These guys are literally the best at what they do, professionalism, amicable demeanor, exceptional customer service and family oriented! They will go the extra mile to ensure you are properly served and satisfied! Karan is one of the most amazing Reps there and Bobby is literally a Samurai with the laying of the screen protector lol! It lives up to and even surpasses the Verizon standards of excellence which is why I will always come here!
I’ve used this store for almost a decade now. I’ve worked with various different employees at this location, and have always had a pleasant experience. They are extremely patient and knowledgeable. They update me on current promotions and always help me choose the best plan that fits my needs!
Russell ans Abraham were very informative, experienced and were very helpful. And they took the time to educate us on the new I phones for my husband and I and they instructed us on the plans they offer. And they offer great deals. And the store manager, Anil always comes over to greet us. Was a great experience.

Great experience! Jay & KC were great to work with. I had many questions because I switched from an Android to a IPhone. They got into detail about each phone and their features. I went to Massapequa on a Tuesday when my battery seized. I had to wait 45 minutes or make an appt for next week. I was repeatedly told they do not fix phones and I should go someplace else. I had insurance so they ordered me a new phone (waited a day and a half) mumbled instructions and ushered me out.After problems with the aim card and st my wits end I went to West Islip. I was greeted immediately and helped by the nicest who instantly got my phone up and running. I wish I got his name!I will never waste going any place else
Very professional and personalized sales experience. Simran is a very knowledgeable counselor, she was able to quickly figure out what was needed and we were good to go. She also has a very kind and patient nature which makes you feel at ease in case you have more than 3 questions to ask. Overall, I highly recommend this location for all your Verizon wireless needs.
These guys (and gals) are the best communications carries and customer service people! I have been with Russel Verizon since about 2005 and every time I go in for an upgrade etc. I am always happily surprised on how the service is and the overall cost of my experience.Hands down I would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their cell phone experience.
A friend recommended this place to me and Im glad I took her advice. I will be going here from now on. They really took the time to explain all my options and honestly tried to get me a phone and plan that both made sense for me and saved me money. I’ve been dealing with Verizon for over 15 years. This was by far the best experience I ever had. From the moment I walked in the door until the second I left, I felt very welcomed. The staff broke down my plan line by line and I never felt pressured into making any changes like I’ve felt in other stores. You could tell they care about everyone that walks through the door. Highly recommend this location
The service was amazing. The staff starting with the manager were professional, patent and extremely knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend the store and absolutely go back again. They are the model for the industry, can’t say enough good things about the experience.
In hindsight, my earlier high rating of this firm was totally inaccurate. After purchasing two new cell phones (with a cost of approximately $2,600) and being charged well over $300 on the purchase date no receipt was ever provided for those charges. In addition, I was never advised that the cost of the new phones was now being charged over 30 months as opposed to to the prior phones which was over 24 months and was only made aware of this once a Verizon Bill was received. Finally, multiple requests over the last several weeks have remained unanswered from your firm for the upgrade costs that I was told would be paid by your firm. In order to avoid any issues to my credit I will be paying these directly and will bring my business elsewhere in the future.
My Father that works for Nissan of Garden City has been dealing with Jesse, Rog and KC for years even when they owned a store in Deer Park off Bayshore road back in the early 90’s. My family has used them for almost 30 years. I was having problems with my phone not charging for almost a week and he said let’s go to West Islip and see KC he always take care of us. We went there tonight on 09-16-2020 around 5:45pm and said hello to KC and a gentleman by the name of Anil helped us who we never met before and let me tell you he went above and beyond to get our problem resolved, I did leave with a new iphone 11 because my old phone was breakfast meaning (shot)non repairable, which I new because my brother said you need to go to Verizon after looking at it. My brother is a genius with electronics so I had a feeling it could not be fixed once he said that.So we had to transfer my info and photos to the new phone and it was very difficult because the old phone was on one leg, battery life was always below 5% and took for ever to charge it to get there. We had to leave the phone overnight to see if everything would transferred to the icloud. We got home around 8:40pm they even stayed later after hours trying to get this done. We received a phone call around 10pm from the man Anil saying try to restore the ICloud now it looks like we were able to back up your phone and we saved everything. Well it’s now 10:45pm and it worked !!!! He saved the day by getting me all my photos and my information from a phone that was a complete disaster. I cannot thank Anil enough that’s why I had to write this long paragraph to explain how he went above and beyond his job. Thank you Aniland West Islip Verizon.
Unquestionably the best wireless dealer Ive ever been to in my life. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the services and their products they really know how to take care of their customers and help them save money while gaining the devices they know and love. Ive been dealing with the owners and the store for years and it is an expirence. Absolutely love going here. If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Been using this store at least 15 years and wouldnt go anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner is great. My cell phone was stolen and I got there 2 minutes before closing on a Saturday. I told them I would return Monday but they wouldnt hear of of it. They got me a phone, transferred my data from the cloud and sent me on my way in less than 45 minutes. They earned a nice tip and my business forever.
Can’t rave about this location enough!! After years of horrible Verizon store customer service, as well as on the brink of changing providers, my family finally found an AMAZING location to meet our families cell service needs! Tons of people recommended this location and as we stepped foot in the store you could tell right away they treat you like family. The staff is efficient, friendly, and super knowledgeable. They were able to upgrade our plan to meet our needs and explain everything thoroughly so there are no surprises on our bill. We know we’re in great hands now and it really is such a relief!! Don’t walk to this location.. run!!
I hate writing reviews- it’s second after getting a root canal- but in this case it’s necessary. A friend of mine recommended this store so I took the bait and it was well worth the trip from the other side of Long Island.I was greeted as soon as I walked in despite the store being packed and I didn’t have to wait for a salesperson (props to the manager for having adequate staff). I was dealing with Joe, who was phenomenal. He got me into a new iPhone 8 and explained billing/changes clearly with none of the usual “surprise fees” right as you’re about to sign. Patient. Helpful. Professional.Do yourself a favor and go to this spot next time you plan on heading to a Verizon store. Even if it’s not the closest one it’s definitely worth the trip. I write reviews when I really feel a person or business deserves it, and these guys do. Thanks again!
This is the best store! I’ve interacted with multiple employees and each and every one is friendly and honest and takes whatever amount of time necessary to help you. I would literally never go anywhere else. I used to be w AT&T and for the most all they cared about was trying to get you to subscribe to direct tv etc horrible customer service. I’ve been with Verizon over 2 years and will never go elsewhere. Superb!
The best you are treated like royalty the staff is knowledgeable and any questions or worries and they hold your hand and patiently walk you the whole way plus some I am a costumer for life now and even make the 50 mile drive because they are that amazing I cant say thank you enough I would be lost and stuck with broken phones with out them thank you all for your help and patients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️You dont have enough stars on your list google so I added some
EXCELLENT customer service.. They are all extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. Eddie and KC were so helpful in replacing my phone due to my old one having so many issues. Eddie greeted me and asked how he can help as soon as I walked in, then promptly addressed the issue, all while remaining friendly and professional. I cannot stress enough how great their customer service is.
I got 4 phone from them 2 years ago,Tim did everything he can to make sure I get the best deal i could. I couldnt be happier, and since 2 years pass I am going back there again for the upgrade. in addition to all owner of the place and as far as i can see rest of the staff were helping other customers and seems like they were happy also with the deal they were getting. I just went in there to try and purchase a new phone and the guy who was trying to sell me a phone knew little to nothing about any of the devices I was asking about. I asked what the difference was with the phone and all he had to tell me was the screen was better and the camera. Im interested in how fast my phone will be. Its processing capabilities. Give me some more information on the screen besides its bigger. He didnt even mention how much storage was on the devices. I then asked him how much it cost and instead of an exact number he said about 1000. I asked him if I could pay full today and he said no you can only pay overtime increasing my monthly bill. I asked him again if I could just pay in full. At this point he said I dont know let me ask someone. His lack of knowledge on the phones and simply how to pay for the phones made me very uncomfortable. I got up and walked out because of a lack of information. The staff should be better informed on the products they are selling. Maybe they are and this person just gave me a lack of effort due to me being a young adult. The man who helped me almost seemed unenthusiastic as of he knew I wasnt going to buy something. Again his lack of effort and knowledge caused me to walk away.
BEWARE I have been a customer for over 10 yrs. Early on had concerns when new phone would be identified by Bluetooth, as one of the owners Rajs iPhone. It was my teen daughters phone and worked OK until it was upgraded. Clearly not new. Now I updated sons phone to iPhone 11 (although we requested XR- of course not recommend, old platform and not available, needs to be ordered) and walk out with paying more for something not needed or wanted. The kicker - 10 min later my sons NEW phone is not working. Call Apple tech support - to find out phone is being hacked by 5 people, including his online banking account. 999.99 stolen from CHASE account. Concerning as the transfer of phone info was more than 40 min and not in our presence. CHASE and APPLE blame unsecured transfer at Verizon Wireless. You pay big for the local convenience! Beware. Next phone will be purchased elsewhere.
If you hate shopping for phones and plans as much as I do then you are going to love coming to see KC at Russell cellular. KC makes it so simple and he cuts through all the extra nonsense. When you walk out you will have a good idea 💡 f what to expect from your new phone/ plan, especially what to expect on your next bill! KC is a straight shooter and I wouldn’t trust anyone else!
This is by far the best place to upgrade your phone or get anything for your Verizon phone that u need. Ive upgraded 3 or 4 phones here in the past few years n every single time got the most amazing customer service. The owner, Raj, is awesome, always there n making sure all his ppl are doing the right thing while he also takes care of customers. Theyve always thrown in several freebies when buying new phones, fixed any problems immediately n even showed me how to save up money on my phone bill. Ive dealt w/several diff ppl there n they were ALL great. Im seriously amazed at how good they are. Last week I dealt w/Vicky n he upgraded my phone for me n made it as quick, easy n least expensive as possible. Really LOVE this place!! Thanks again guys!
Beware!! Be very careful using this place!!! A lot of unethical employees. I have had so many unauthorized charges and devices added to my account illegally.I had been using Verizon for my personal and business accounts for many years and this has been the worst experience of my life. $3000 plus worth of charges to my account in last 6 months of IPhones added to my account. Every month I go in because I receive bills for $700-$1200 a month. I have no choice to pay them because Verizon says they will shut off phones. I have paid every bill just to keep the phones on and every month I am told they will fix it and get me the credits and nothing happens. It’s blatant fraud on my account , it was reported to Verizon store and corporate and nobody does anything.The employee KC has been the only one to try and help but even he cannot get it fixed. Now I have to ask my brother in law who’s an attorney to do this BS work for free to try and get my money back.Luckily I have the convos saved to being told that they had employees doing this to a few people so the proof is there just sad it had to get to this point. I hate nothing more than dishonest people and this place is I by far the most dishonest I have ever dealt with. I have 2 phones and 2 watches and they charge me $700-$1200 a month. Total scam and shady employees.
So my family and I have been shopping at this Verizon for about 10 years now. In my younger days I would obviously go in with my father, because I was a minor. Since then I am now 24 years old and dont need to go with daddy to Verizon. Every experience Ive had with my father was pleasant, we were helped quickly and efficiently. More recently, as I can now go in by myself, Ive been treated very poorly. Each time I go there Im forced to wait despite there being 5 employees in the back room behind a two way mirror. Consistently Ive witnessed associates go out of their way to help customers who are visibly older than I am. Apparently, because I dont look like I have a family I dont have money and Im not willing to make a purchase? This has happened to me on several occasions and has happened to my brother as well yesterday. These people want nothing more than to steal your money and make a sale, and if youre not there to do that they treat you like garbage and try to rush you out as quickly as possible so they can rip someone else off. Honestly disgusted. You work in the customer service business, show some class, just because Im young doesnt mean Im not respectful or have money to spend.
Recently had to get a loaner phone while my phone was out for repair. I went to two other stores with no success. Finally I came here. Nicest store asthetically but it is the people who work there that make all the difference. Very helpful, friendly and professional. Its not in my neighborhood but I will go there first next time I need anything.
These guys (all cousins) really know their stuff and service is their game. Youll feel like family before u leave. I have never seen the store empty. From open to close its filled BUT they have the volume supported by numerous reps and professional consultants. Never a long wait and every issue Ive ever had was solved AAA+

I went there asking what best phone on battery and he recommended me iphone xr then i tried it for the day and didn’t like it and he made it very easy for me to switch back to my iphone se. I will recommend to anybody, A+ shop and reps.
Verizon store in West Islip ny is hands down the best place to go. Raj and his staff like K.C. are the the kindest most amazing people to work with. My entire family goes there and any friend that has enough sense to know who the best in the game are!!! I would give 100 stars if I could.
Tyler helped me set up my phone and I couldn’t be more pleased! What a fine young gentleman he took the time to explain everything to me and even wrote it all out on a sheet for me so I wouldn’t forget! Only thing I wish I did was take advantage of that tablet promotion he was telling me about...oh well next time I’m sure will be soon
Well I just have to say that the Verizon store of west islip New York is ny by far one of the greatest shopping experiences I ever had. I have been going to this store for about two years now. K.C who runs the store and Izzy..... Sal and Yousuf.... are so dam knowledgeable and my god so patient with helping there customers. They will never ever let you walk out there store unhappy..... there customer service and support are untouchable.... I live in patchogue my and I will not go any where else for my Verizon issues..... and I highly recommend any one who needs a phone t.v. Or any Verizon issue go see Sal Izzy.... Or Yousuf and last but not least K.C without a doubt a 5star store!!!!!
I have been dealing with these guys 12yrs. Long berfore they moved to this location. There is no problem they cant solve. They dont just push phones, they help. They have done so much for me and my family that I finally looked them up to leave a good review. All I can say is try them. You wont be sorry.

I would definitely be happy to come back to your store because of Biraj. All due to his kindness and knowledge. In the future whenever i need to Purchase anything for my phone or tablet i will be back here.
