Im the type of person thats already wary about authorized retailers regardless of the company they piggy back off of. And unfortunately my experience here proved no different. Either the employees that I worked with lacked the proper knowledge to accomplish what needed to be done or the store really does have limitations because they are an independent. Regardless of what the case may be, I cant recommend this place.
NEVER SHOPPPPPP HERREEEE EVERRR so I go to Verizon about 4 weeks ago when the new iPhone 13 pro max I understand there not in stock so the guy tells me to come in the 29th of October and that’s ok no problem. But as the 29th came around I called and called no phone but I call the 29th and they said they tried to call me a bunch of times (they never called once I walk in and my number is there on the counter lol the lady Malaika C told me to make a quick call to make sure it worked so I call the number on the paper it rang no problem and she also said she was the one who sold me the phone and I had to be there before she left at 5 so I have to leave work because your shift ends at 5 pm hmm interesting anyways the bill was over 100 more than they originally told me Just overall the worst person to work there I’ happen to work as a automotive salesman so I know how you should treat customers and i must say im going to at&t to see if I can get a plan with them and I have 30 days to bring back phone
My experience at this site was phenomenal. The entire staff acted as a team in helping me with what was a rather convoluted problem. They all ( including managers ) took the extra time necessary for me to feel accommodated and satisfied.I would not hesitate to return there for further products or just for tech support.The space was particularly welcoming.Ive been a valued Verizon customer for years, this is the kind of treatment that makes me feel like Jim belong here.
I just had an excellent experience at Verizon. Noel helped me and not only did he figure out just what was wrong with my phone and fix it, but he was so pleasant, so patient and totally helpful. Also extremely pleasant and helpful was store manager Antaeus. Thank you so much to both of these exemplary employees!
Awesome customer service. My phone became inoperable while out of town and I needed a new phone fast. Kristen, the first Verizon rep I dealt with, was fantastic. She tried to first salvage my phone and when that became impossible she showed me different options for a new phone. I then met managers Antaeus and Dena who were both extremely customer-focused and helped me make the right decision on a phone. Kristen made sure all my information for my old phone got transferred over and even was able to save the music that I had on the old phone.They spent more than hour and a half with me to make sure I got the right phone and that it was all installed properly. I left very impressed with the people at this location. As someone whos in business Im not often that impressed. Thankfully this time I was.
Noel was absolutely amazing! I came in to just get a case and he explained my account and the deals that were available to me. I walked out with a brand new amazing phone and a tablet. Everything was clearly explained and I am so happy with my gadgets. He was extremely helpful and set up everything for the helpless techie that I am. Highly recommend this store and especially Noel! Ill see him for my next upgrade in the future .
Malik and manager Antaeus saved me from the most stressful Verizon experience I have ever been through. I contacted multiple locations needing help on filing an insurance claim and nobody could give me the information I needed to get started until I came here. They know all about the quality products and if I had went there to purchase the phone in the beginning I would have avoided the damages all together. They direct you towards the best and are really the nicest and most personable employees Ive experienced to date and treat you like family. They will be my only two Verizon employees I deal with going forward. Thank you again guys!!
If I could rate this place a ZERO I would. Stopped by to upgrade phone. Alex the lazy sales clerk got annoyed because we asked her to answer questions. Her annoyance turned into blatant disrespect. When we said we didn’t have to purchase a new phone there she responded, good 😱. We asked to speak with manager and get this he was standing right there. Jared Houser (the manager) sat back as his staff demonstrated the lowest level of customer service possible. AVOID this place. Staff as very young, immature and the manager has NO VOICE or leadership skills. Go anywhere BUT HERE.
Had a great experience at this Verizon store. Asia, the rep who worked with us, was wonderful. Explained all of our options, listened to all of our questions and answered them in terms we understood, showed tremendous patience for two old folks who are not tech savvy, did not try to oversell us on something we didnt need, was incredibly knowledgeable and was pleasant and cheerful throughout. We were honored to have had her as our rep.
Noel was the ideal image of customer service. He went above and beyond, and I cant say that there could ever be a better representative. He was literally perfect. Malik also did a wonderful job assisting and made the process more pleasant. Could not have asked for a better experience.
Amazing people! Once you walk in, you’ll feel the friendly environment. I’ve been to other places and it took me hours to get a small thing done. I got a phone, went through the whole process of transferring my information, trading my old phone, getting lots of things in promotion (I mean it when I say a lot!) and then walked out in less than 40 minutes. Definitely try their store and ask for Felisha or Virgil.
I am still in shock with the service I received. I went into the store this afternoon and I was greeted by an employee who was sitting in the guest chairs by the door. I told him that my phone doesn’t get service 75% of the time and I drop a lot of calls. He grabs the phone out of my hand and opens ALL of my apps, checked to see if my software was up to date, and checked my google maps (which I said I had the most issues with). He hands my phone back to me and goes “It works for me.” And then walked away and went back to talking to the other 4 employees in the store. I will not return to this store again and I am looking into a different provider.
So I came into the store, and had immediate customer service! Not only immediate but fantastic customer service. The manager Virgil and Akira are the most best reps in the store ever! Not only did they provide phone service but also kid service while we were trying to figure it all out and my kids loved them! Jesus they blessed me with 3 iPhone 8 +’s and a GREAT DEAL! Prior to this I went to every other carrier in the mall and they were all miserable and not willing to help at all. I promise to everyone who reads this you will have a wonderful experience from these two and will NOT regret it. Best I ever experienced with any carrier’
Me & my brother went into this location at Colonie Center to do an upgrade. There we were helped by Felicia; i assumed that she was the manager since she seemed so professional and personable. This was one of the best experiences i have ever had at a wireless store. Not only did she help us complete the upgrade but she even told us some inexpensive ways to help us protect our phones and our personal information on them. If you ever go in to this location be sure to ask for her. Just make sure sure when you leave you dont say bye Felicia ... you might embarrass her.
I went in looking to replace my busted phone through the insurance plan I had purchased with the phone. The girl bypassed the protection plan and ended up selling me a new phone at full price, applied a $55 screen protector to the phone that I specifically said I didnt want, all just to get the commission. She spent the entire time I was there talking to the other employees about he she was going to spend my commission. I didnt realize what she had done until I got home. I went back the next day to get it reversed and go through the protection plan, and she said I had waived that option when I was there, and called me a liar in front of other customers when I asked her why I would want to pay for 2 full price phones instead of getting a broken one replaced.Im addition, since they are not an actual Verizon location, but rather a third party company, they will tell you to call Verizon customer service when you have issues (like they told me), but Verizon customer service cant do anything to help you since they are third party. Also, they can set their own prices for everything, which tend to be higher than an actual Verizon location.Go to the Latham store off Exit 6, they are an actual Verizon location. Everyone there was incredibly helpful to me when I was trying to figure out how to get this all reversed. They still work on commission (all locations do), but they dont talk about it in front of you.FOLLOW UP: After emailing the customer feedback line and explaining the situation, I was again told that the items I specifically stated I did not want would not be refunded to me. I again stated that I was taken advantage of, and that the employee knowingly did so, and that I expected that amount to be refunded to me. I have not heard back from them since. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge.
Went in to pay off my device and trade it in toward a new one. The GM was assisting me and knew I was looking at what my total monthly payment would be at the end of the transaction. Told me to pick out a good home case and screen protector. Told him I usually got them from Apple. He said that it was just a special cause I was in the store that day and I’d be walking out paying nothing for them. Ok fine. Once I got home and looked at the receipt for $70 which I was led to believe was just taxes, I found the GM had discounted the screen protector and phone case and took it out of the trade in value of my old device, leaving me with a higher overall monthly payment. Super shady. I went in the next day and returned the phone case but was stuck with a now $28 phone screen protector (same thing available for $6 for 2 on Amazon) because it was already on my phone. Yeah, it had a warranty where you pay $10 to ship a new protector...still cheaper on Amazon, or anywhere for that matter. Asked for the GM to contact me to resolve the issue. Haven’t heard from him in about 3 weeks now. Go ANYWHERE else for your VZW service needs. Shady business practices and they take care of themselves, not the customers needs.
Very professional atmosphere and amazing customer service. The Store Manager Bryan is very knowledgeable and Kind and ensures that his staff is the very same way. My family members have gone to this store exclusively for the great service thats being given. Highly recommend this location throughout the Capital District Area!!
Good Service , at first I didnt understand my new devices or how I would use them. I came back in to return and they took the time to explain and coach me on how to use my new devices as well as educated me on the proper way to care for my devices, although it took some time it was very informative. I felt like family vs a dollar sign. The new staff there are great and very friendly.
Horrible business! They will sell you on stuff that you didnt know you needed and not explain the monthly fees involved with anything that you get aside from the primary phone. For example, I took some devices off of my plan and they gave me a tablet for free. But its not really free theres a $20 access charge per month that they did not tell me about. I only found out about it when I went to a real Verizon store and they broke down my plan for me. Additionally, I didnt end up with the phone that I really wanted because the salesman sort of pushed this other phone on me and convinced me that it was the superior product. As it turns out, I really dont like the phone that I bought and I wish I had gotten the other one that I really wanted. Its my fault for being susceptible to salesman tactics, but in the end I have a major resentment against Victra and will make sure that I only go to true Verizon Wireless stores in the future. And in case youre wondering, I only came to the conclusion that I should switch phones, but it was beyond the 14 day return policy. So I am going to get used to this phone that I got because I have no choice. Hey its only two years.
Came in to the store to get my phone transferred & not only did I get excellent service from Nijae Boyd but he took hours out of his day to figure my content transfer out & helped me pick out a case also put my screen protector on. I recommend this location whenever shopping for a new phone & definetly the sales rep Nijae.
The sales kid (I cant really call him a man) wouldnt let me use the rebate to pay the phone bill. He kept trying to force accessories on me and wouldnt give me my phone until he updated the OS, something which I couldve done at home. Instead, he kept me there 2 1/2 hours when I had stuff to do. Normally I receive prompt service from them but not this most recent time. If it wasnt for the fact that that was the only Verizon store within close distance of my apartment, I wouldve just gone to another one.
I had an excellent experience at this location! Ronald, the Sales Associate that assisted me, was very patient with my questions and answered everything honestly. I was in the midst of a phone upgrade and initially hesitated with a non-corporate location. After my most recent visit here, I’ve actually felt more welcomed and assisted than at a corporate location. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
Experience was nice and got us all set up. Fees were not explained as they charged $19.99 to setup each phone. I guess it is buyer beware. Didnt realize I was being charged until I looked at receipt when I got home. When I was checking out I asked what the charges were for and he told me it was for taxes on the phones.

Marcel G was less than helpful- after charging me for a file transfer that he couldnt do... he then gave me an attitude saying well Im standing here doing it... aka doing nothing except something that I could do through an app!? Then after telling him i will go to an actual verizon store he gave me back my unactivated phone and told me i was a huge waste of his time Im sorry!? The fact that hes incapable of doing his job is now my fault!? Wont ever be back to this location
Antaeus and the team at this store are amazing. We needed to change carriers, port numbers, and purchase new phones -- a lengthy process, but the team was helpful and friendly, and communicated each step as we went through it. I highly recommend this store! Thanks, Antaeus!
Ordered a phone online and went to pick it up after receiving the alert it was ready. Spent an hour of my weekend watching a seemingly indifferent and unhelpful staff fail at figuring out a simple transaction and was told i had to come back on Monday to get my phone, despite having received texts from Verizon that my pickup was complete. Very little in the way of an apology and nothing in the way of basic customer service.
I was on vacation and I broke my phone . When I went to this store they advised me I was WAY overdue on a upgrade.Verizon Rep Roland Wade helped me out with purchasing a new phone .He and the rest of the staff in this store were very kind, helpful and professional . Ronald and the staff not only made my new purches easy, but also made it a fun Verizon experience . I recommend this Verizon branch to anyone who lives in the area .
The employees at this store were extremely helpful, patient, and kind - and they went above and beyond to help me with an upgrade. I would definitely recommend this store location! Because of issues with my account (that had nothing to do with this store), I spent quite a while in this location while they worked to get things straightened out (always with a smile!) and I witnessed the employees here providing excellent customer service to every person who walked into the store. It is clear that this store takes great customer service seriously!
I went to this Verizon location yesterday and my experience was horrible. The two representatives were both unprofessional and lacked customer service skills. After waiting 20 mins, without ever being greeted or acknowledged, I left. The reps had customers but were very shallow. Never once said “hello,” “I’ll be with you shortly,” “this’ll take a while, so you may want to come back.” Nothing at all. They glanced over at the growing line, but not once said a word. I expressed my concerns and left the store. I will never return and I will spread the word to other people who may also spend hundreds of dollars with this company. This location doesnt even deserve the one star but I had to put it, in order to leave a review
Thanasia was literally the best Verizon sales consultant that I have ever met in my life. I have been a Verizon customer for 10 years and never have I ever received such excellent, detailed, and compassionate support while at a Verizon location. From the moment my mom and I walked into the Colonie Verizon store she greeted us with a bright smiling face and continued to help us for two hours with continuous energy. She not only assisted us with our current questions, but also resolved past problems we had with our Verizon account. Thanasia was fantastic and I whole heartedly recommend her and the colonie team for service!
This is not a Verizon factory store.I purchased 3 phones here last month, and all have been getting sales calls.They sell your info to outside vendors.They threw in a car charger, screen protector, and phone case. Later realised they charged $100 for them. I know, my own fault i should have known.But they were friendly.However, I will never return here again.
Didn’t love the professionalism of the staff. The boys need to learn how to pull their pants up over their underwear. They push accessories way to hard that are way overpriced, I realized once I went home and looked up each accessory I bought like the Speck XL 2 black protection cover, they charged me $44.99 and I priced it for $23.97 on Amazon. I also was talked into a Puregear curved glass for the google pixel 2 and they charged me $54.99 and I went home and looked it up for $16.95. I also got some charging cords etc that I should of waited to buy when I got home And looked up on Amazon. Lesson learned DONT buy accessories from these stores they are double the cost so you know their racking up commission. Oh and be careful they did a review with my phone giving themselves 5 stars. The entire cell phone thing is a huge racket and is getting way to expensive. Go get a pager😁
Wish I could rate this store a zero. This is not a true Verizon store and instead a Victra wireless store. I was entirely mislead and worked over from the moment I entered. If you buy anything from this store they will try to up sell you and mislead you into thinking you’re getting a deal. Notice I didn’t say lie, they are careful not to lie but they certainly know what they’re doing. Which is why the manager is quick to be defensive - HE KNOWS HE’S A SCAM!!
We stopped here to upgrade an existing line to a newer iphone. Wed initially planned to go to another location in the Crossgates Mall, but since we were driving right by a sign that said Verizon Wireless we made the assumption that this was a legit VW store. We told the salesperson, Jared, we wanted an iphone 7 and he went to the back and came back with one - without even asking color/size. We asked about it and he said that was all they only had one option left in stock. When we mentioned the monthly payment amount (which wed looked up online beforehand) we were told that the phone was $120 more than we were seeing online and that we must be seeing a promo price. I brought the verizon wireless site up on my phone, showing the cheaper price, and was told that it was probably for new customers or that it was an online deal. I noted that the VW site wasnt showing it was a special price and that it also didnt show this location and I said, So I can order this online at this cheaper price but I cant pick it up here? He shrugged and said they werent showing that price. When I asked to escalate a complaint that it was deceptive to not honor the online price, he shrugged again. I said that I thought that it was ridiculous and asked him to undo anything hed started in our account and we left. At no point did he tell us that this location is simply an authorized dealer and not a true Verizon Wireless store.
At the verizon store in colonies center mall. Noel was the sales associate,The entire staff Ronald,Felisha and Akira were the best. Ended up leaving with 2 new s8 phones. I have been to many Verizon stores in the capital district,but by far this is the best one. I highly recommend for the customer service.
VERY UNHAPPY!!! I spent $672 on the Samsung S7 on March 31, 2016. The customer service I received from Phillippe was horrible!! He was argumentative and defensive when I became aggitated over the amount of time it was taking to upgrade my device. I came in at 10:30 am to upgrade my phone and left at 2:30. That was unacceptable to me. I spent an additional $30+ on a SCREEN PROTECTOR, because I was told it is fiberglass. I was told these are 100% guaranteed. And should mine get damaged it will be replaced for free. What they DONT tell you is, in order to replace it you have to contact a 1-800 number that no one answers. And you have to wait for them to send you a new one. So, hope for the best, while you are waiting for the new one to come. As a customer, I dont feel like I should have to jump through those types of hoops. That should be between the retailer and the manufacturer. This is the last time I give Verizon Colonie Center my business, EVER!!!! BTW, I have been a Verizon Wireless customer since 1993. This is NO WAY to treat your customers. Especially your dedicated customers. Sprint is looking better and better everyday.
The Comfort level that I experience at your Colonie Center location is so totally Above and Beyond. I go out of my way from my home to work with Felisha, Malik and Asia. If they are ever moved from this locale due to promotion or your need for your best I will find them for the total satisfaction that I imagine everyone experiences with them. Sincerely, Anna Brickman
Absolutely the worst service Ive ever received from a Verizon retailer. Needed a last-minute SIMM card because the one I had no longer worked. After the representative fumbled around with my Device for 30 minutes...I walked out of the place spending about 60 dollars too much! The store is now a privately owned retailer and the service is sub-par or less! There is also no indication on the mall storefront that this outlet is not a Verizon corporate store. They didnt even recognize that I recently upgraded my Verizon plan to beyond unlimited when they told me the SIMM card would cost me $10.00....Sub-par all the way. One good note...staff was as polite as possible but definitely not technically adept with what they were doing. I will never do business there again!!
This is not a main Verizon store. They could not take my smoking phone and all they could do was give me a number to call...luckly I had my boyfriends phone to use so mine doesnt blow up on my ear. When I called the guy said that my phone was a hazard and I need to drop it off to a direct Verizon location. This store could not help at all. They did talk my boyfriend into buying a new phone and it was supposed to come with 2 mods. Well right before he is supposed to sign they mentioned that he was only reviewing 1 mod. We were told wrong information and they did nothing about it. When they took his phone out of the case there was a post it under it and alot of fingerprints on it. Which lead me to believe it was all ready used, but we saw this after he signed for it.
We were at the one inside colonie center it was during Christmas time and nobody was in the store at the time besides us and the people that work there so they probably a little bored I was asking a question about a phone on my account and the person did answer the question but its the way they answer the question like they didnt care I would hope that you fix that at your Verizon store in the mall and I have been with Verizon for over 6 years I would like a little respectSo I give your store 45 Star with a -10The end and be well
We went there with a defective phone ( will not charge, says theres moisture detected, this phone has never been wet, its a known defect for this phone) and waited for an hour without even an acknowledgement that we were there, only to be told that the phone that we still owed 400.00 on was out of warranty by a week and that there was nothing anyone was going to do to help us. Awful awful service.
Sorry I couldnt rate this store zero.If you use this store at all make sure you have a tape recorder with you and a lawyer to look at your contract.Notice this is not verizon but Victra wireless. Excellent Service I couldnt be more happy ... Walk in expecting it to be a nightmare but Manager Antaeus was actually getting ready to leave for his shift but stayed and assisted me with my Dead Phone .... I walked out with a new phone new Tablet awesome Moto Mods for my phone and a lowered my monthly bill .... Best experience at Verizon GO TO THIS STORE !
In response to the above two comments...1st, that is the correct phone number. Its a kiosk in Colonie Center. They are there from 10:00 am - 9:302nd, Verizon FIOS does not sell phones. You must be taking about the Wireless Company that has nothing to do with Verizon FIOS.
I have went into this Verizon store on 10-06-2017The supervisor name is Dino is so rude she is very unprofessional and do not know how to talk to anyone I was going to purchase a phone she has kick me out of the location do not never going in there to do any kind of businessAnd she had lied and said that I have Five disconnects and And she said to get out of her store and I have left So I left and the next day I’ll try to call out to the account manager of the store his name is Matt he never contacted me back so that will tell you something do not never do any type of business with that location they lying to people and we will try to get you is best to deal with the corporate store

2022-04-12I tried to pick up the cell phone that I had ordered at 7:20 p.m. I had received a voicemail saying the store was open until 8:00 p.m. When I arrived, the gate was halfway down but the lights were on. An employee slowly wandered out, playing on his cell phone. He looked at me, clearly annoyed, as I waved him over to ask if I could pick up my phone. He rudely told me that his coworker called out sick so he had to start closing procedures early, which consisted of counting the money, and he asked why I waited until 7:20 p.m. to pick up the phone if it was so important to me (I work full-time and have a baby at home who needed to eat before I went to the store.) I get it - he gets paid regardless of how he treats customers and it couldnt have been more obvious that he simply did not care about the situation. No one likes getting out of work late, but its not like I showed up at 7:50 p.m. Anyway, I canceled my order and will definitely never go to that Verizon store again!

2022-07-23Malika was very sweet and helpful, even though there was a lot of technical issues with getting my 2 phones. Overall, the experience on the FIRST day was horrendous because it took 7 hours (not on a weekend, and there werent a lot of other customers there) to work through all the issues. Malika really tried her best making several calls to Verizon to get things right. I was very upset and outraged being there so long, but still, Malika was very pleasant and persevered in taking care of the problems! 🙂

My sister, who has a disability with extreme anxiety and difficulty speaking came into the store on her own to set up her new SE iPhone and Malika was extremely kind, patient and compassionate, helping her each step of the way. She even called me (brother and account owner) to help and reassure my sister . Malika is clearly a great representative and asset to Verizon. I recommend you recognize, promote and do what you can to keep her. Thank you for all your help. We are grateful.

2022-07-21Store hours say 9pm on google and 8pm on the phone, i came in at 7 looking to upgrade my phone and the man working told me that the customer he was with was going to take until close. i swung back 15 minutes later and the gate was closed, nobody to be seen.

2022-05-28Horrible experience with Marcella local manager came in 3 times over 2 hour wait time to get assistance. Marcell has refused me to help me saying I have call to call myself I’ve been waiting for 1:20 mins I do not recommend I ended up going to T-Mobile since I can’t get any assistance I spent 1100 on the I phone 13 promax
