Yesterday I received amazing technical support help from Dixie! She spent the better part of two hours working on my issue and solved what the tier two techs couldnt solve in two days.(They Just sent me a warranty phone and cost the company money and that wasnt even the issue) Dixie got my phone up and running after being down for two days so I am finally able to run my business again.
My husband and I went to Amsterdam for dinner and stopped in to this store hoping we could get a update on our phones, not sure if we were buying OR updating. Well, we met Shawna and she was fabulous to us. She was caring and listened to our needs. WE are older and not so phone smart BUT Shawna was GREAT we felt better after the new phones and Shawnas help! Finally customer service we have been trying to get this in a Verizon store for a while. IT really is the people who work there! Chloe was there and they were an awesome pair! I highly recommend this store for ALL your needs. Im telling everyone I know about Shawna and Chloe in Amsterdam! Now we have a place to go that gives CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Keep up the good work girls!!
I cant speak highly enough of the service and attention I was given today at Verizon on Rt 30 in Amsterdam. My iPhone had been giving me troubles - behaving very slowly. But the worst of the problems was that I kept receiving notices that I was running out of usage and storage, and I knew this couldnt be the case. Something was wrong. Today I brought the phone up to the store on Rt 30. No waiting - I was greeted and immediately assisted by Justin Mac Donald, the manager. I explained my problem in Senior Citizen Terms--I am not technically savvy, but Justin understood exactly what the issues were. He explained perfectly to me what was going on- and not only did Justin provide a solution to the immediate problem, but he offered me wonderful, sensible and $$-saving advice re/how to maximize my usage and get fuller bang for my buck. I have been a Verizon Customer for over 2 years now and Ive always been impressed by the excellence of their staff- but today was EXCEPTIONAL! Youve got a customer for life here.... Thank you, Justin! And thank you, Verizon.
We went in to get a new phone for my daughter. The person who assisted us was very nice however, because he didnt want to take the time to wait for the phone to finish transferring data and instead suggested we have it finish when we got home and did a factory reset on the phone we traded in, her photos were lost. He never mentioned that by waiting to complete the transfer of data we risked losing information. And, to top it off, the person we spoke to to see if anything could be done made it sound like it was our fault! They are supposed to be the experts and, in my opinion, failed us
I came in with only half an hour or so to spare bc i had to go to work but the guy that helped me was super quick and friendly even tho he was helping another co worker with what seemed to be a difficult situation. Was impressed he was able to juggle both very well without getting annoyed (like a lot of customer service people can) but he got me out of the store right on time,happy with my order.
This is the worse Verizon store I’ve been too. They lie about products. This is my 4th visit to try to get a screen protector for my sons Samsung which I paid for replacements. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE you will only get frustrated. They said they were setting one aside and when I got there it wasn’t there. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. All you get is a sorry and a bunch of excuses from employees. Too bad they are going to loose a lot of money. 7 people in my family plus a business. You get better prices and service buying from Walmart!
This used to be the best and only Verizon store I would go to! Not anymore, youve lost my business. I only went to Amber or Angelica because they were the only 2 who knew what they were doing, I was told that they no longer work there and I will have to deal with them from now on. I will be switching carriers, for 2 reasons. 1 they were the only reason I stayed at Verizon and 2 the arrogant guy who couldnt even help me put a new screen protector on asked me What do you want when I walked in. I have never been treated like that there until now. Highly recommend finding a new store or carrier. Im done.
Ignorance and inexperience is the cornerstone of their business. If it was possible I would give less than one star! Staff was only looking to make commission and sales not actually be helpful. When they learned of the situation and figured out they wouldnt be able to do so they made up a fake rule from Apple products to send me to an Apple Store an hour away. Before leaving each employee attempted once again to get money from me by pushing their own personal cell phones on me to buy which was extremely unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend anyone ever go to this place of business if you value your time and money, I would instead take your business to another location or even an Apple Store which was way more helpful and knowledgeable.
I want to give a huge Thank you to Angel M at the Amsterdam Verizon store! He was so awesome and patient with helping me get my I phone running again. Will go back to him when I need anything. He was so professional and helpful. Thought the phone was done but he saved it and got it running again with out me going to apple store! Thank you so much!
I have been a happy customer of this store for many years. BUT not lately! I am not sure what is going on now but this store has gone downhill fast!. I am disappointed by the lack of a professional, knowledgeable staff and the lack of product availability. I have to wait weeks for products like screen protectors and then the staff cant even apply them properly when they finally come in. 😥 And new policy changes with out notifying the client first...just is wrong!
My business, my wife, and I have been Verizon customers in Amsterdam since I purchased my first phone back when they were in Polar Plaza and known as CCS Wireless. I have purchased from this location in 17 years more cell phones than I can remember for both myself and my wife, a Verizon Jet Pack, several iPads for us and our business, an Apple Watch, and loads of accessories from phone cases to phone/iPad chargers and more. When I purchased my Iphone 7 a couple of years ago, I purchased with it LIFETIME tempered glass replacement. A few days ago, I went to the store to purchase the Apple watch mentioned above at a cost of more than $500. I also needed to get my tempered glass replaced which was cracked. After making the $500 purchase of the watch and paying for it, the associate looks up my account and says my LIFETIME glass replacement expired in September (even though I have replaced the tempered glass at this location no less than two times since September) and they wont honor the glass replacement. She says, I know it was sold that way (as lifetime replacement) but its actually only two year replacement and refused to honor it. I began to become visibly angry and the manager spoke up and directed the employee to replace the glass but said out loud in the store this will be the last time they will replace it. Well, unfortunately for this location, this Apple Watch will be the last item I purchase from your store. You just lost a very loyal customer.
All in all a great experience at this particular store, which is alot more than i can say about other verizon stores. Luckily i am reviewing the store in amsterdam and not verizon as a whole. The staff was very welcoming and seemed to know their stuff. We worked with Justin specifically, but they all did a great job taking a team approach with our family which we certainly appreciated bc theres been times i have been in a verizon store for 3-4 hours. They didnt have the biggest selection of accesories in store for my new phone but they set me up with what i needed i just had to wait a couple days for it to be shipped to me. But if i had to choose between more cases to select from or a competent/friendly staff, im choosing the staff at go wireless 10/10 times. These guys get my recommendation, thanks.
I purchased my iPhone 8plus from here when looking at cases I originally wanted a otterbox. The guy then suggested this other case that was like the otterbox but less bulky I thought right away “great”. I haven’t had my phone a year yet, it’s barely been 6months..... The back of my phone is smashed and the case has melted to my phone...... clearly I can not take the case off due to it cracking and overheating. I currently live in Florida now and brought it to a Verizon store. They want me to pay $200 for a new phone when clearly there’s something wrong with the one they already sold me! This is ridiculous and I will be switching phone companies due to this. Save your money and your breath this phone company doesn’t care about there costumers and clearly are trying to suck up all your money.
One star because they dont have zero stars. I purchased a phone in August and returned 10 days later in accordance with the Verizon return policy. I have the Sales and Return receipts. I closed my account and moved to ATT. Verizon sent me a bill for the phone I returned. The store never informed Verizon corporate that the phone had been returned and now Verizon is sending me to collections for a phone that is in Go Wirelesses possession . Go Wireless has done nothing to resolve this issue. The happy customers are the ones that dont have a problem. The dissatisfied customers are the ones that have a problem with Go Wireless and they are unable (incompetent) or unwilling to help resolve. Beware.
Have been in many other Verizon stores ,but never have i been satisfied enough to leave my old provider until I met Angel in the Amsterdam Verizon, he convinced me to change carriers and he took care of everything I needed to make a smooth transition to Verizon. He will always be my cell phone guy from here on out! Thank you.
Went to the store to talk about switching cell phone providers. I spoke with a young man named Justin, he explained things in somewhat simple terms which i appreciated considering how complicated these plans have become. I left with a brochure and a business card and after discussing with my family I ended up returning to make the switch, he did have to order one of the phones so we couldnt get everthing done that day but all things considered the process was much easier and efficient than i thought it would be. The one thing that did take some time was the transferring of the pictures when we came back for the iphone that had to be ordered, but i dint think that was their fault. And the menchies across the parking lot eased the pain of the time it took. Overall it was a great experience in the store and we are happy about making the switch to verizon.
My phone stopped working I brought it to Angel and he tried to fix it but it was beyond fixing, so he looked into my account got me a new phone and gave me extra gigabytes plus now I pay less money then I did before on my bill.Miracle worker! Highly recommend him and this store in general
I usually go to my local Verizon store which is about 25 mins from this location. I stopped in bc I was having a problem with my prior phone, I was informed I was eligible for early upgrade. Amber and Justin helped me, they were very knowledgeable. Amber was especially accomadating, giving me pointers and taking extra time with me on my new phone even though the store very busy. I will be driving the extra 25 mins and taking my business to the Amsterdam store from now on and will refer them to anyone I know. I highly recommend this Verizon store.
Refused to help me with a claim with my phone insurance. I could not remember pin and they flat out refused to accept a government issued photo id. They even threatened me with a sheriffs deputy. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I then went to a Verizon wireless corporate store and I had no problems with using my photo ID.
Consumers need to know....Verizon & this type of in-direct store also called Authorized Retailer, are not one in the same. Verizon does not support the policies of these independent retailers and these independent retailers do not have to comply with Verizons policies, pricing, etc. The associates were pleasant but its a great deal of fast talking sales pitches. Buyer Beware!

Order a phone case that you have no idea what it looks like then hope your phone dosent drop & break because the store doesnt know how to ORDER anything.

2019-05-05We just visited your store and Shawna waited on us and Chloe came over and helped us with some things also, I just want to tell you what an awesome job they did helping us and what great girls they are. They were very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the phone that was best for me and set everything up for me as I’m not that great with technology. I own my own business and I would be very happy to have them working for me as they represented your company very well. They made it a pleasurable experience buying a phone 📱 we always go to your Amsterdam store because everyone there is so friendly and helpful. 👍🏼👍🏼🙂

2021-01-26Ordered a phone, wrong phone got ordered a worse yet more expensive. Called in got told by Shawna the manager to wait a few minutes until they were done with their current customers, fine. 2 hours go by i call again Shawna says to me that it will just be another couple minutes and that i will always be last because shes going to take care of the customers in the store first. 2 more hours go by and she yet again tells me to wait longer. 4 hours and no service. Told her to cancel the order still waiting.

2020-06-15I have been going to this specific Verizon store for a long time. Shawna is a very knowledgeable Verizon employee who always has an answer for my questions and always makes sure I know about the best deals! I changed recently to a business account and wether it was a personal account or business account she is very knowledgeable of both!Very nice experience every time at this Verizon store.
