Verizon in other cities:
Stopped in to upgrade one phone and get some info on upgrading others. Signed in and went to Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee. Got a text in 10 mins that we were up. Walked in and found out Jen would be helping us. Jen helped us 2 years ago when we switched to Verizon. She was awesome then and was awesome today! So helpful, knowledgeable and just such a nice person!! Give her a raise and keep her forever!
I usually am not the type to leave a review but based on this terrible service I had to! So I was looking to switch a line off one account to my own and get a new phone and I went there and was greeted outside by a man who I told my situation to and was told to call a number and come back when that was done. I asked him if I could get a new phone and transfer the line at a later and he said without an appointment I would not be allowed in. As I began to walk away a family walked to the door and asked if they could start service there he asked if they had an appointment she replied with no and he said that’s okay and took them inside! I used to work for Verizon and I know how commission goes but this treatment is UNACCEPTABLE! Just because I wasn’t going to give him the sale he wanted he couldn’t help me? Verizon shouldn’t be happy to have someone like this working for them.
We switched to Verizon by purchasing our phones on the website and having them delivered. Then we had trouble getting them activated and working correctly. We finally decided we had to go in store for help. The local store was closed even though Google and their door sign said they would have been open at the time we were there. So we were forced to drive 25 minutes away to the Verizon near the boulevard mall. The agent sat us, figured out the problem, fixed the problem and we were back on the road to home within 10 minutes. It was a nice change to the previous headaches we had endured. Now, we both love our new phones and having a reliable network! So far so good!
Was told to come to this store to replace my new defective phone by a verizon rep on the phone. Its a corporate store. Scheduled an appointment and came out waited 35 min to be told that I have to pay 50 dollars because they dont have my color in stock.Wouldnt replace it I didnt even want a different color and had only one day left to exchange my phone and for some reason they said that rule can be stretched but the 50 bucks cant be waived. Sure.Didnt trust em had to rush to the walden store that had that color with my 4 year old at 7:40 pm when they close at 8.
Tried to order phone via the app for in store pickup to save $20 on activation and to use the $20 device dollars. App refused to let me continue to purchase, kept going around in an endless loop, so we just went to the store. They refuse to honor the online price, so I used the web browser to process the order via the rep’s advice. Paid over $800. All of a sudden the order says the phone is going to ship in 2 days. Rep says cannot simply update it and give me the phone, says I have to call customer service and cancel/redo the order. Ended up being on the phone for over an hour only for the phone rep to tell me that the store should have been able to give me the phone. Tell that to the store rep, and she’s just all shoulders. Phone rep said she cancelled the order but the money still came out of my bank account. Said it was just a hold and the bank should be able to release it. Called bank, not a hold, nothing they can do. Basically just paid Verizon $815 to walk out with no phone. Just went into my app and the order doesn’t say it was cancelled, so we’ll see if I get a phone in the mail or if Verizon legit just stole my money. Either way, once I get a new phone I am switching carriers. I’ve been with Verizon since I was 16, and even though they have a monopoly on the best phone service, I’m so disgusted and fed up that I’m willing to go through slower speeds to stop paying all of my money to this conglomerate. DONE.
The guy who tried to help me was very nice. Ultimately he was unable to help me, because Verizon. We had purchased a tablet which was still under warranty, for some reason the screen was bad. I was told by the Verizon people that while it was still technically under warranty by them I should send it to Samsung, because Verizon would charge me to repair it. FYI Samsung made getting the repair done very easy and the replaced the LCD at no charge.Dont try and be a loyal customer at Verizon either, YOU WILL BE PUNISHED. Customers who are adding a new line qualify for a BOGO top of the line phone a $1k value. Customers who are returning get about $100 if they trade in their existing phone, if your phone is older think less a lot less.Dont like it go elsewhere, we all have the same deals Danny so stay with us FOREVER and EVER and EVER.
Really cool people! They really took their time to help me figure out a weird phone service maneuver I was trying to do, porting a number over to an existing line. Patient and not pushy. And for a few years my parents and I have come to this store for upgrade phones and such and its been pleasant every time.
Just experienced the most abysmal failure of customer service I have ever had the displeasure of being stuck with. Online ordered in store pick up. verified, in store pickup. the website emailed after order that now it will be mailed. did all of this in store because the store would not save us $20 on device and $20 on activation like online. store staff abandoned us at this point. when we asked for help, we were told to call the 800 number. 800 number staff asked why they didn’t call for us. 800 number staff said they cancelled order. our $ is gone (815 USD) the order is supposedly cancelled. no paperwork trail now and to boot, the lady on phone not only claimed she couldnt send a letter stating it was cancelled but hung up on us during transfer, nobody has called back. Store staff closing in 5 minutes looks at us like tough luck and goodbye. So... you stole our $, we have no paper trail except bank statement. you’ve shoved us out the door and hung up on us. I remember when you won us from sprint because the service was so good. I have never purchased a product or been in any kind of business transaction in which I have been treated so poorly. My wife and I are in complete shock and now looking for a different carrier because nobody in store or on the phone was willing or able to provide us any service or help.
Very disappointed with our experience at the Verizon Store on Niagara Falls Blvd and Koenig in Tonawanda today. We originally stopped in December 1 looking to upgrade our iPhones. We were welcomed at the door and the gentleman who greeted us walked us over to the iPhones and we discussed models and decided on what we each liked. I then asked about transferring data, mainly contacts, and the gentleman replied they could absolutely do this. He also said that if we purchased cases, screen protectors and charging cables we would get a deal lowering the total price of those from about $150.00 to $80.00. He said that we could purchase the phones that day but would have to make appointment and come back for the transfer because it would take some time and they were limiting the number of people in the store. I then asked if I had to make an appointment if I could just purchase the phones and accessories, do the transfer all at the same time. He replied we could and made us an appointment for December 4 at 3 pm. We arrived on time for our appointment, were greeted and reviewed the phones we wanted BUT THIS TIME a different Verizon employee told us that they could not transfer our data in store but instead they would start the process and we would have to finish at home. I was on the fence about this because I am not very tech savvy and if something went wrong and we got stuck we had no recourse. I was mulling it over because we really wanted updated phones and I inquired about the accessories. At this time I was told I had to buy 3 accessories and I would get 30%off. I’m not a mathematical genius but that did not reflect what I was told December 1. Needless to say the bait and switch failed and we left the store. If you’re reading this be informed that BestBuy will do the transfer but after the Holidays, due to high volume. The moral of the story- minimally keep your phone another month OR shop around at other carriers for the best deals.
Knowledge and quality of customer service at this location has always been extraordinary. Even when busy, the sales staff has patience and does an excellent job of explaining options to best suit your needs. The management and sales staff both put in the work to make shopping an enjoyable experience. Great work everyone!
I just got home from upgrading my phone. I was weary about going to a Verizon store but the customer service at this Niagara Falls Blvd. location is fantastic! They are incredible efficient even when packed. We walked in to about 5 people waiting ahead of us, got checked in and our place was held with notifications to our phone. Then we received amazing service from Chris on the upgrade of my S7 to an S10. I mentioned bare bones functionality I was interested in and he let me try the camera on the phone before making a choice on which of the three S10s to upgrade to.He also helped me find a case for my needs, (I like having a steely on the back so i can mount it in my car), he put on my screen protector and helped me bundle my accessories. Then he explained my new monthly cost and mathed everything out for me. Chris is seriously probably one of the best employees Ive dealt with when trying to work with Verizon. I sincerely appreciate the time he took to help.Honestly, this experience was fantastic and completely changed my view of Verizon stores. I had been dealing exclusively with the Diamond wireless/authorized retailer store in the mall and if you have to choose, dont even bother. Just go to this store!
My phone battery has been ridiculous lately. After exhausting every avenue, I finally went into the store to have it looked at. The first (and worst) Verizon I went to was on Military Rd in Niagara Falls. I walked in, explained the problem, and was promptly asked if I had insurance. I said yes, and was handed a card. I was told that I should call that number and theyll just send me a new phone. She also told me that they dont troubleshoot at that store. I was dumbfounded... She never even asked my name or phone number.Discouraged, I left that store but something didnt feel right. So I drove from NF to the Verizon store on Niagara Falls Blvd in Amherst. I took my phone in and explained to Matt what was going on. He immediately got all my information and started troubleshooting. I explained to him what happened at the NF store and he was appalled. He finally found out that my battery is fried, but he got a phone overnighted to me and tried to charge the battery as best as he could.I could not be happier with the guys at the Amherst store! They really went above and beyond. However, I will NEVER step foot in the NF store again. They could not be bothered helping me out.
My phone had stopped working. Went in and only had to wait about 10 minutes for help and then was out in no time at all. The associate listened to my issues, checked my phone over and after verifying that is wasnt damaged to cause the issues I was having she promptly ordered a new one. I got the new phone within 5 days and havent had an issue since.
Customer service was horrible and lied to get their commission. This was the first and last time I will go to a brick and morter store. It took me a month to correct the billing and plan that he messed up. He told me if i changed my plan to include the new tablet my bill would decrease due to the new pricing. I am so gullible. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
Since I put in a nasty review to the Walden and Unions Verizon Imma put a nice review for this location. First off I was questioning my upgrade to the gentleman here and he went and took the time with me to answer and assisted with my questions with my upgrade and I didnt have to wait that long outside either lol. I will return here if I need anything else for my phone here. Thank you and God Bless this Verizon
Absolutely worst store have ever dealt with. They pressure you to buy things you dont need, then dont allow you to return them. Obviously they get bonuses. One particular manager is an absolutely horrendous individual with his tactics. Avoid this store, go elsewhere, or be very careful about their fast-talking.Update: Went there because phone was not working. Rep there told me to go to CPR, which is a nonauthorized service and would have invalidated my Verizon insurance. Luckily did not follow his advice, and requested he order me a replacement phone, instead. He ordered it wrong, and now I have to go there again and wait in line, to obtain a sim card. This is not a good place to shop, and recommend finding another Verizon outlet.
We just switched from T-Mobile over to Verizon tonight. I was extremely hesitant going to this location after seeing the reviews, but I am glad we went. We walked in and it was really busy, but we barely waited 2 minutes. They were well staffed for a Saturday afternoon and extremely helpful. I didnt feel rushed with a purchase or feel like we were being over sold anything. All of our questions were answered in depth and our wants/needs were well respected. Shout out to Todd (I believe) who helped us. It was such a smooth transition (and ended up costing way less than we anticipated too!).
Went to correct the fact that when calling other people wrong persons name shows up on their screen....so they do not answer, which is annoying to me, having to make multiple calls before they pick up. Reuben, the customer service rep, tried to correct the problem, but to no avail...the phone just kept showing that it was trying to connect to something that was going correct it, but now I have to get I touch with tech support. Reuben tried his best, and I thank him for his patience with a tech ignorant senior citizen.
After 4 watches hours and hours with different tech support, Samsung support, 40 miles each way to Niagara Falls Verizon store, all incompetent obviously, decided to go to the Amherst Verizon store, Adam took care of us and fixed the watch that no one else was able to do, could not have thanked him enough including his manager Matt for hiring a competent employee. 9 years with Verizon and we were considering leaving, you should hire competent employees if you sincerely want to keep your customers.
By far one of the worst Verizon stores I have ever dealt with. I purchase 2 new phones added my son as an authorized. They refused to allow him to pick up the phone. Next day I sent my husband to retrieve the phones and they told my husband the order has been cancelled and it nothing they can do about it. Called customer service and was advised order was cancelled at store level with no explanation.
Verizons service is impeccably awesome. I have no issues with the services provided or any issues with the people that work at Verizon. With that said, its sad I have to rate this location 2 stars because the wait is torturous. Even if you make an appointment, plan on waiting a good hour to be waited on. I feel bad for the employees as it isnt their control on this situation. They need help. I see people complaining and sometimes being just downright nasty to the employees doing their jobs, and that is what our world has turned into. No patience. I heard a comedian once talk about how people complain about their stupid phone because it isnt going fast enough. Do people actually realize how great technology has advanced? Just 10 years ago would you have been able to carry a phone in your pocket or even harness the power of the internet from their palm?
Girl that helped me today was very rude. wish i had gotten her name (she was black, maybe 30 years old or so) but right from the start she had a attitude when i was explaining my reason for being there. my issue wasnt resolved but after dealing with her i just wanted to leave. i hate reps like her who are just angry and have zero interest in helping. just avoid this store. hell youre probably better off just avoiding verizon entirely.
Customer service is awful. I went in to upgrade my phone. Was not even acknowledged by 1 employee when I walked in. after browsing for about 10 minutes looking at phones, I went up to a counter for assistance & no-one even acknowledged my presence, even though there was 3 employees behind the counter. one was helping another customer, but 1 of the other ones was just standing there looking at a computer, & the other was standing there talking on the phone, than after he got off the phone, he just walked away. So finally I went up to an employee & asked for help & was told I need to sign in & wait to be helped, even though this employee was just standing around doing nothing. So, I go see someone else to get singed in, than wait around for another 10 minutes, again not even being acknowledged. So I finally walked out without being able to get my phone upgraded & do not plan on going back to this store.
Absolutely rude! Wouldn’t even listen to the problem or reason why I was there. The Verizon store I was at before This one told me to come here since they are The only one in the are that can help. No wonder they are rated poorly. Worst customer service I’ve experienced.
This particular branch has constantly given very poor service. I have only had maybe 1 or 2 people that were actually informative and provide fair service. For the most part, the wait time is at least 1/2 hr or more and the sales people always try to convince me towards different phones than what I came in to look at. I actually had one girl try to convince me to buy a slightly more expensive phone than the one I wanted. When I asked her to prove to me the difference in the two phones, the one that I wanted actually had a slightly larger core processor and had a longer battery life than the one she tried to persuade me to buy. My advice know what you want before you go in this store or they will upsell the heck out of you and to sell what they have in stock rather than what you want. I always go 5 miles out of my way to the one on transit to get better and a more honest sales and answered experience.
Had to return a screen protector for my phone and was told I needed to sign in and wait for the next available agent: which was going to be about 45 minutes. Ridiculous. Also, Ive been at the Starbucks next door and noticed that after Verizon closed that all their employees were parked in the few lots in front of the store. So its okay for customers to have to walk through the plaza but not the workers. Just avoid this location.
This location sold me a broken phone. When I returned to the store 20 minutes later to have it replaced, the general manager accused me of dropping the phone (I did not) and told me he was going to call the police to have me removed. That was after I had been speaking (not yelling, swearing, or threatening) to him for approximately 20 seconds. Having worked in retail for 5 years, I am qualified to say this managers behavior is unacceptable and he should be fired. Not once in 5 years of retail did I or anyone else I worked with experience a situation where threatening police action was necessary. A run of the mill angry customer does not warrant police intervention. Stay away from this specific location unless you want to get screwed and treated like a criminal.
Every time we go to this store we wait at least an hour to be seen, while the employees play on their phones or talk among them selves. Do your self a favor and drive an extra 30 minutes not only will it save you time, but money as well! Their is a great location on south transit road in lockport!
VERIZON BAD NEWS. Wanted just a new phone. Talked into a new wireless bundle which would save me money.. I did buy a $199 phone. My first bill was over $600 and the $50 rebate was refused because supposedly my UPC bar code was invalid. Don;t know what they want and when I called the # was not working. I have a 13 second delay before the home phone connects. The internet service is so slow, I often walk away when it is downloading. The cell phone (Intuition) is a total mess even after I took one of their classes. I have been hesitating going back to the store because of a previous experience when I was treated rudely and obviously since they already have my money, THEY DONT CARE. I am also stuck into another 2 year contract and getting my old service back would be even more expensive. In 2 years I definitely will be changing providers. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.
Went to get my daughters phone fixed. We have insurance on it. We pay$6.00 a month for the insurance in case it breaks or gets lost or stolen, to get a new one. Well, she got a refurbished one instead. Even after we specifically asked if the phone was going to be refurbished, we were toldNO, THE BOXES MAY HAVE BEEN OPENED TO SHOW A CUSTOMER, BUT THE CUSTOMER MIGHT HAVE WANTED A WHITE PHONE, NOT THE BLACK ONE, SO WE PUT IT BACK IN THE BOX, AND IT GETS SENT BACK TO THE COMPANY TO GET RESOLD AS AN INSURANCE PHONE.Currently not happy with Verizon.😠
The worst!!!! Jennifer got into my 17 year old face then I called and spoke to Emen manager on duty he was so unprofessional and rude! When I told him how Jennifer did that he said that didn’t happen so I asked if he was out there and he said no. How would he know. After reading all the comments here it’s unreal that they still have her working here!! NEVER going there again!
Not the best Verizon store Ive been in, but still nice. Its a bit small, and they dont have as many working phones and tablets to try out as other stores, but the workers were still helpful. They answered my questions and gave suggestions, even if it did seem like they had the ulterior motive of getting me to buy one of the Verizon exclusive Droid devices.
Absolute suck start to finish. Plenty of workers standing around playing with their phones rather than helping me sign up for mine. The rep had no idea what was going on. Ported my number to the wrong phone, then realized the right phone wasnt supported. Since hed already ported it, my option was pay too much for a new one, go buy a used one from the super sketchy store down the road, or *poof* your number is gone. Insisted he couldnt configure auto-pay and generally just had his head up his butt. This is a legit branch, not an authorized retailer. For the absurd prices verizon charges, I expect a higher quality of service. Screw these guys and the horse they rode in on.
A completely unorganized mess. You check in then wait forever without any idea of when you will get served. The sales reps are clueless on the devices that they are trying to push. I would rate this zero stars if I could.I hate going in here so much it makes me want to punch babies.
Edit: this place is a joke!!! This place never followed through on the promotion they had at the time!! My bill is $20 higher a month than promised. And have to visit this store every month to get my bill adjusted. Avoid this place! They wont help you! They were great here! Snagged some great black Friday deals and they were very helpful while switching me over from an old service.
I bought a Droid Turbo a few months ago. Shortly after, the screen began to separate from the device. It wasnt too much of an issue at the time, so I let it be. Recently the entire screen has begun to separate and it only being held on the by top left corner. This issue causes the phone to overheat and drain the battery. When I went into the N.F. Blvd. store, I signed in, someone came over, I briefly told the worker what was happening, he took my phone and walked away. As I just stood there, I could see he was doing something on their employee tablets, but never had any interaction. He just left me standing their and never updated me on what he was doing or what my options were. After 10 minutes I walked over and asked what is the next step. My only option is to get a refurbished phone. With Verizon, when I renewed my contract the price of my phone ($600++) was calculated into my monthly bill. It does not seem right that I should be spending the same about of money on a used product as a new product. They told me this is the way the technology world works. That I can go on ebay and get a used phone if I dont want to pay full price for a used phone, and to contact Motorola directly.I am appalled by this response, I have been a customer for over 10 years and have never been treated this way. But they are right; next time I will go to ebay or another wireless company, as I will NEVER give Verizon future business. I have learned my lesson the hard way, thanks Verizon.
Lost my phone somewhere between the Christmas Tree Store and my car. Searched and searched...no luck. Walked over to Verizon and was fortunate to meet Chris. He used phone locator, walked with me over to the parking lot and spent significant time with me until my phone was found!! Thanks, Chris -- I was dreading another phone purchase.
I walked over a mile in the cold to get to the store then when I got there it was a mess. I had to wait 30 minutes then when an employee spoke to me about my issue he handed me a little card and said call or go online. I went through all of that for him to not even help me. By far the worst customer service Ive ever seen.
Not sure why the store is even there they dont want to help! I went in because my phone just stopped working they told there was nothing they could do for me. But they never even looked at it. They told me to call customer service ! I asked if they would she told me no! Very poor customer service!!!!

2022-03-28Walked in and noticed it was busy. No problem. There was nowhere to sign in to get in a queue so I hung around and waited. Not once was I asked if I could be helped or was I advised they would even be with me shortly. All I needed was a screen protector. Again, I get that they were busy, but after 10 minutes and not even an acknowledgement, I left.

2022-05-06Poor customer service. 4-5 employees in a large empty store waiting for customers. No understanding of how to look at a problem and correct it. Just pass the error on to another agency. We cant help you call customer service. We didnt do this or we would never do this check with the bank. No help at all.

2022-04-08My dad was having trouble with his phone. We called customer service and were directed to remove the battery and the sim card and replace after 5 minutes. We followed the directions and when he replaced the sim card the Sim try broke. My dad went to this location and explained the issue. The lady at the counter told my dad that he broke the phone and would have to buy a new phone. My dad explained that he did what the Verizon representative on the phone instructed him to do. The lady again told him he broke it and he has to buy a new phone its no longer under warranty. As a Verizon customer for over 20 years this is disgusting. I will make sure to switch carriers .

2022-01-13Ive been with Verizon for over 15 years. Probably the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Walked into an empty store with one customer. Watch two associates take care of one customer and another walking around doing nothing think it was the manager. After 45 minutes I finally got a text that theyre ready to assist me. By that time I was already at AT&t across the street.

2021-12-05Again, a most positive experience in a Verizon store. This time with Chris who tried as hard as anyone can to fix a problem in a damaged replacement phone sent by the insurance company. Friendly, professional and committed to the customer! The next day we returned with another iPhone sent to us. This time it was Eric who with knowledge and patience overcame difficulties, resolving the issues and completing the job as good as can be expected. Both are compliments to the organization!

2021-09-18I consistently get amazing service here. The most recent time, Andrew was incredibly patient with my mother. He tried really hard to answer her questions in a way she could understand and stayed a few minutes after closing to finish up what he was doing for her and answered my questions about my current plan too while helping her. He was honest in his recommendations in what we needed and saved us money.
