Victoria Nails and Spa in other cities:
Easy in and easy out. I come here for basic nail grooming and there is never a wait. I’ve shown up all times of day and I’m in and out. That is amazing because I have been to other spots where I am spending hours waiting for an opening. My girlfriend gets nail designs from Nando who is an awesome ARTIST to say the least. Bring your own design or even better let him freestyle. The dude is a GENIUS.This is a Great spot and it’s also really convenient being right in the mall.
Did not even cut all my cuticles,Was rushing me to pay even when my nails were not dry yet if I am in a place for self care I don’t need to be rushed when I am paying with my hard earned money, I should receive the value of good service and quality in return with the the value of money I put in. You want to charge something, you need to give what the people are paying for, not half fast service because you are wanting to take the next customer. Quality over quantity and the quantity as a whole of loyal customers over time will follow. Now I will go where my money is deserved and valued.
This was my first experience getting eyelash extensions. I returned the very next morning to get them removed. One nail person was very unkind to me when I explained what happened to me and asked to speak to a Manager. She said she didnt know when the Manager would arrive because she just worked there. I will never let her do my nails. Once the Manager arrived he was very kind unlike the 1st lady. The woman that put the eyelashes on was very kind as well and removed them immediately. Also told me my skin is too sensitive for individual lashes and next time get easy applied lashes. I appreciated her suggestions. She gave me a free coupon for my next visit. So what started out as a nightmare ended on a very good note. Thank you Saisee
Great place❣ James is a very talented & creative manicurist.Honey does great eye-brow threading. The pedicure spa is very therapeutic.Rose, Phillip & Jackie do an excellent job in the spa pedicues / leg massages. Best thing of all, professional, clean, & no waiting. They are a family business, clean, classy atmosphere & respectful to their clients. Also, Tony does my nails. Im pleased with his work. Very professional & clean establishment.Very dedicated workers.🥰Once again, Love my nails...done by James.James is amazing & talented nail technician.Jackie does an amazing spa pedicure. If you pay in cash, they give you a 5% discount.
The lady who did my pedicure did a horrible job on my toes my toes nails are uneven and the paint job sucks. its so thick and lumpy looking. she then tried to get over and add - on paraffin for a extra $10 on my bill when I went to pay. Then tried to play the whole I dont speak English card when she clearly heard and understood me when I said Gel pedicure only.In addition to that they were using tools that were not sanitized and social distances was not a thing here. We are still in a pandemic and you are choosing not to sanitize your tools and social distance. Tools should already be sanitized regardless go a pandemic or not.I used to love coming here for my Gel full sets and Gel Pedicures but now its a health risk to come here. Go at your own risk.
I got a powder dip mani and a pedicure. First and foremost the powder dip didnt last 24 hrs before cracking. Its hard to get a clear picture because of the color, but almost all of my nails have cracks at this point (3 days later). The mani and pedi consisted of literally just painting my nails. No massage/hand or foot rub. The whole thing was rushed and the quality shows it. It was way too expensive to turn around and get it re-done by actual professionals in less than a week.Update: pics are after 1 week with their powder dip nails. Ive been on vacation and theyve just deteriorated from the minute I got them done.
My nails and toe are amazing it’s my eyelashes the glue is so hard it Irritating my eye.there a big peace of glue on my water line i will never do these again there she literally got glue in my eye she was kind i must say BUT MY LASHES HURTT so if u go here don’t do lashes
Don’t come here, don’t waste your money!!!As of today, I knew to never come back to this place at all. The one ever time I got my nails done from this place was when I wanted dipped powered nails and went so wrong which I had to come back to this place and get my situation fixed. BUT THIS TIME it was even horrible!! I went to get a gel manicure whiling the lady is doing it I saw how she was missing a few spots and I told her and she act liked she didn’t listen or understood me which was really disappointing. And when she was done with my nails they were spots missing and lumpy looking and honestly looking really unflattering and look like a kid did it. And she even missed to put the top coat on my left thumb nail!!! It looks like it matte not glossy at all! So when I brought it up to the front desk the young nails was screaming at me saying, “JUST PAY HER” which was so rude and unprofessional at all. Although, I got an $5 of I wished I got $10 or someone to re-do all my nails again because the time I wasted and the dissatisfaction I got is very absurd and really unprofessional. My third time going there and never again!!!!!! Don’t come here! I will put picture so you can see how messed up this place is. They just want your money!
Prices change everytime. If you dislike something they catch an attitude but most of the workers are the reason i come back. My nails always come out how i want them. The eye brows tech need to work on her people skills the young one works excellent i would not go to the other one.
I came in for a pedicure originally which was great. While I was waiting I decided to get my eye brows done. The lady who was doing my eyebrows kept touching my face without gloves and grabbing my face. I asked her to wax my lip and she ignored me then proceed to thread it. She did have me check my eyebrows to see if they were okay in the middle of the service and one eyebrow was okay but my other was is completely messed up. It does not even seem symmetrical! I am just disappointed.
This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. The WORST. I am even tempted to call the investigators to see if the workers they have there are even certified to do nails.Picture below is how my nails looked less than 24 hours after they got done. Less than 24 hours!!!!!Here’s what to expect:1. They will RUSH through your mani-pedi. If you went there for self cafe and relaxation you are in for a RUDE AWAKENING.2. They don’t use the warm towels that most nail places use as part of the service3. About 99% of the employees do not know how to remove cuticles properly. They won’t even soak your nails and pretend to push back your cuticles only to leave them exactly the same. I tried to speak up and the employee didn’t even understand English. I don’t know why I didn’t walk out right then and there!4. Poor QUALITY everything5. Feels like a sweat shop for nails6. Expect to pay over $45 for trashy work and that’s for the bare minimum. I can’t even imagine how much people pay for all the extrasThis place needs to be closed down, investigated, or they need to change management.Never again will I step foot in there and I will make sure to share with EVERYONE I know. One word to describe this place: TRASH
If I could give a zero star I would. Paid $137 for a full set and gel pedicure. Both ladies did a terrible job, sloppy. My manicure alone was $80 and for that price you would expect a spectacular job. Nope, messy messy messy job. First of all the lady that did my manicure was rushing, not even paying attention to my hands, kept looking at the door, cut my cuticles that started bleeding. I have to go home now and literally fix these myself. Definitely will not go back there.
Beware of these unprofessional and misleading thieves, I called and asked for the price before i went to get my nails done. $45 they told me. I was surprised to get charged $109 after they lady finishes the job. Simple manicure and pedicure (same service) that i usually get at my other place with same price they ve told me on the phone. When i question this they told me they did spa blablabla. I sincerely dont know what she was charging me for since what she did was exactly same service i usually get at my other place, which was just busy that day thats why i went to them in the first place. Will never put my foot there. These are what i get for the charges pfffff
Technician speed rushed through my pedicure after he realized I didnt want gel, spa, or scrapping. Continually asked me for six minutes to do other services, while barely doing the service I was paying for in the first place. Then walked off and left me in the chair to go to the register without even directing me to where the dryers are! If you want a two minute pedicure and pressured sales pitch, plus sub par service then this place is for you. Not to mention the prices! No thank you. Never Again.
I pay so much money to get my nails done and for it to look like a toddler did it. I told the lady to please redo them and she told me that if she does, they would have to charge me extra. I asked for Gel mani and pedi, with a flower on my ring fingers. My toes nails are so thick from how much nail polish it has and not even cleaned at all. My husband was so upset when I showed him. I don’t like it at all. 80 something dollars for something that I could have done myself. I either want my nails and toes re-done or my money back. Very disappointed.
Horrible. Came in yesterday for a manicure, the result were messy and the service was rushed. Also, if you need payment before the service is done in order to take the next customer like the nail tech stated ask for it before applying nail polish. While I was drying my hands the nail tech came to ask for money, but said I couldnt go into my purse yet because my nails were still drying. So I asked her to wait until they were dry and She said she couldnt and asked if her or the person I was with could go inside my purse instead. She comes back with a $5 dollar bill and declares it hers before Im given a chance to actually give her the tip she deserves based on the service she provided. While the person I was with was handling my purse which by the way Im not ok with anyone going into my purse doesnt matter who you are its a matter of privacy and respect. Anyways, as he was putting my stuff away she stood there waiting for a tip he was not handing her nothing as a tip because it was my job to do so , she just grabbed the 5 dollars right from his hand. Smhhhh I would not mind giving tip for good service, but dont do a horrible job then feel entitled to other peoples hard earned money !!! I wish i could upload pictures, but for some reason this review is not giving me the option. Will never come here again! This place needs to do better when it comes quality and customer service.
I visited this location yesterday for a filling and to cut my nails down. The nail tech cut one nail, I asked for it to be shorter and he replied no, looks better like this. I went to the front and asked to be placed with someone else, the receptionist gave me pushback then placed me with someone else. Upon completion, I noticed I was overcharged. I was being charged an additional $5 for a nail fix which wasn’t the case. I mentioned the error, the receptionist said I’ll void it but you need to pay the new price first. I was confused as to why I would have to pay first, when I asked why he responded “you don’t have the money”. He assumed I didn’t have enough funds to cover the hold placed on my card and charge my card again. Horrible experience and the receptionist was extremely rude! I will never go back.
James has been my nail tech for almost a year. He does great professional and Precise, and thorough with the shape and design of my nails. I never had one break. Wendy did my pedicure. She did a lovely job. My feet are soft and smooth. She understood my needs and delivered. It was worth every penny.
I came for a basic pedi and mani. No gel, just the regular usual nail polish touch up/clean up. Ryan was friendly but lacks basic techniques. Both of my big toe nail were extremely uneven and yes Ryan did remove some cuticles, but it wasn’t to a standard. He effortlessly used the tool on my first two toes on each foot and then did, a clip clip, for the rest of my 3 toes. And I let it rock, just to see exactly what kind of service I was paying for.(Yes, I should of asked Ryan to make my nails even but isn’t that what done on our pedi? For our nails to be equally even?)Another thing I I let him rock with was being on the phone for half of the service to.( I like to at least have a conversation with the person doing a service for me )Moving on to the mani, he used the nail clippers, cool, then once he was done shaping them, he asked me to wash my hands, so I do. I look at my nails and once again they were uneven. I asked him to even them out once I sat back down. His replies “you want them even not all square”……… On top of that he didn’t even remove any died skin on my nails and went straight to painting them which once again, not putting any effort into his work.Everything was 50$ including the tip and I was very unsatisfied. It’s just very sad how expensive this basic mani and pedi was. I got black normal nail polish on my toes and a clear coat on my nails (no color). Just very unfortunate
If you would like a comfortable and relaxed mani and pedi experience, this is not the place to go. EVERYTHING is rushed. The process is so rushed there is no way to enjoy it. Its almost like customers are a product on an assembly line. Because everything is rushed, the quality of the work is not the best. They will try to upsell you on everything. They offered me a $15 callous removal treatment -- I dont even have callouses. Dont let them rush talk you into any additional services. They are full of fast talk as they try to sell you more and get you out fast. TAKE CASH and plenty of it. The prices are high and there is a surcharge on credit card payments. They need to take the word Spa out of their name because there is nothing spa-like about their rushed, opportunistic shake down, and impersonal approach to what should be a positive reprieve for customers. Its such a shame. The location is convenient, the facility is quite nice. They just need to change their customer service approach.
I went into this salon on 05/05/2022 for the first time after seeing it for years. I went and told them what I wanted ( gel polish pedicure, full set with gel polish, and my eyebrows done. I was told to come back tomorrow for the pedicure and that only my full set could be done. I told them I wouldn’t be coming back tomorrow and that they can do my full set with a coffin shape. Before they start your service you have to PAY FOR IT IN FULL which is not a normal practice. There is a huge No Refunds sign on the counter. I paid with a card, but did not tip with it because I wanted to see if the work was worth it. John T did my nails and they came out good even though he was rushing through the service. He used CND Brisa Gel instead of traditional acrylic and monomer to do my set. The Brisa Gel got very hot from the lamp they used which was built into the workstation. I told him it was too hot and he told me to cure for 5 seconds then take the nail out. I asked if he could use a different type of UV lamp and was told no. After my nails were done John told me I can get my pedicure done. I go to the pedicure station, only to be told I need to walk all the way back to the front and pay for the service. If I did not need my nails done for vacation I wouldn’t have stayed. Hellen is a great pedicurist and was very nice.
Horrible place to have a manicure or pedicure or anything. I wanted a gel manicure and the guy gave me acrylic and said it was the same thing when it freaking isnt. Charged me 65 dollars for nails that I didnt want and they are all different sizes. My left five fingers do not match with the right at all. Do not come here its Horrible.
Is good ,Oh no, I love victoria spa , Ive been a costumer since the mall open, I do my nails with vivi, since Thomas is no longer there . She great and everyone one else is nice. I have visited green acres aswell in the past ,and the one on 174 in the bronx .Sorry if I didnt finished my review. I like all you have to offer at the spa.thank you.
Rushed a d terrible service.Went with my husband to get regular pedicure. The guy who helped my husband did his pedicure in 5 MIN.. WTH...$32 spent to go wash ur feet...the person who helped me took about 15 min. She did an ok job...I hate when I go to places and they rush to help you cause they busy..Would never go there again.
Nails chipped one day later. Unfortunately I was on a plane going on vacationHad to spend the week with messy nails and my cuticles peeling. I also got my eyebrows done. Dye was not good and the shape was a mess one fatter than the other. Wasted 70 dollar. I will never go back here.
The absolute worse service. I got my aunt a manicure and the guy all the way in the back was rushing. I stepped out for ten minutes and was called by my aunt that he needed his payments so he could go home. We came in a little after 7 on a a Saturday. The guy at front desk said pick a color an wasn’t really clear about where to go. Everyone is rude. He then lied about the dryers being broken when I tried to social distance my aunt. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I literally just got home with my 3 daughters from taking everyone to get their nails done for an upcoming event. I paid over $80 for a gel manicure for my three young girls. As soon as we got home my youngest took off her socks and all of the gel on both of her big toes came off in a big chunk. We do not live near the mall and it was EXTREMELY crowded so I do not have plans to drive back there. I tried calling the number I found on a Google search for this store and no one answers the phone. Now tell me what am I suppose to do after paying $80 plus dollars for a rush job that didn’t even last 30 minutes.
Extremely large nail spa.. I’m not frequent here so I don’t know names of the better technicians. The person I was allocated wasn’t good and my nails look pretty bad after him removing the gel paint and leaving them very lumpy and ugly. Took the color off because it looked even worse after 1 day. I do know others that have gotten good work/service here... You need to know whom to go to here
I been going to Justin since he was at 174th st. He is the only person I go to so I can’t speak on any other tech. But he has brought whatever is on my mind to life. From simple to glamor he has done it all with me, the price I pay is perfect for the work he does.If you are coming come prepare for time on your hands sometimes there is a wait sometimes there isn’t all you have to be is patient.Be respectful and you’ll get respect.
This place looks so inviting and is so clean. The service is pleasant and you feel pampered. However the end product is less than desirable. The prices are ludicrous for the less than mediocre job that is done. I paid for a gel manicure and these are my nails two days later! The coating is lifting already and looks horrible. My nails were filed uneven and my cuticles were peeling right after the manicure. I repeatedly pointed out the errors during the manicure but the technician was less than willing to correct her errors. I got ripped off! I wanted to leave with beautiful nails and instead I spent a great deal of money on something I could have done myself. I will not be going back.
This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to in my life. Avoid at all costs. You will regret going here and will be overcharged. They are unclean and unsanitary:They had me move stations three times in which they just used the utensils there without sanitizing them.I went in to get my acrylics off and they butchered my nails. They rushed for no reason. Cut my cuticles to the point of bleeding. Left my nails uneven and lob sided!!!! Overcharged me for clear top coat. I cannot emphasize how unhappy I am with this nail salon and will never be going back.Do not trust this place by how nice it looks. Absolutely terrible.
Nails are cute but I paid $122 $42 for gel pedi and $80 for nails this job isn’t worth the price I paid. It’s only been 24hrs and my nail is splitting idk why or how. And there are numerous bubbles spot. I wouldOf been better off going to 125th. Save your money and find a better spot.
Terrible!!! I will never come here again. They rush the process, they don’t pay attention to details, I got a pedicure and the paint job was horrible, the manicure was was another sloppy job… never again!! And when I addressed the issue the manager didn’t come over to help!
This review based on July 2021 manicure. I went into Victoria Nails & Spa weekday morning-- Luckily it wasnt busy. However, I the quality of the products used on my nails was not good. I dont recall the name of product, but it was a nail gel natural tone that require UV light. That application to my nails burned whenever the UV light was on my nails.Four months later, my nails are still healing from that product. This is a product that must grow off your nails versus being manually removed. I wished they were transparent that product which overall cost $65. Nonetheless,I will not be going there for future manicures.
Did a gel mani and pedicure. They both took a few minutes to do. I was in a rush so I didnt check them properly before I left. Not even a full day after I realized the gel on my fingers were far away from the cuticle.... The pedicure was still in tact but the top was already stripping. I wish they took more time to focus on the feet and hands for the price that was charged.
Conveniently located in the Mall, walked right in on a Sunday afternoon with no wait time. Appreciated that they take your temp and have the chairs spaced appropriately for social distancing. Got a decent basic pedicure but it was rushed and for $32, I had to ask the nail tech to put lotion on my feet. No pampering but the end result was a very neat pedi. Overall, not a bad experience and I would return.
I have gone here for 4 years Danny was my tech he recently left. I had Alex today. He over charged me. He first tried to charge me for taking off regular nail polish $5. I have my nails short and then with a French design. The total just for short stiletto nails with a design came out to $98????? Never again! I don’t like my nails. Will NEVER go back there! Also if a customer is questioning you dont get defensive and disrespectful.I spent $40 on a pedicure with Gaby who was amazing. But Alex can’t do math and can’t do nails. Also I reached out to the the manager when I got home. He asked me to take a picture of my nails and send it to him. Its been an hour and no reply. Please dont respond to me with some generic message that youve left the other people who left reviews. The damage is done! Your loyal customer is dissatisfied and is walking away.
I usually go here all the time since they do my nails so well. But this time service wasn’t so good. I told the nail tech the design I wanted he wasn’t doing it how I wanted and I did not like it. He got very upset and started cursing me out. The workers are so nosy they crowd around you but aren’t helping the situation. The “manager” said my nails were fine. Which they weren’t! I had to ask multiple times who would be fixing my nails. The person who fixed my nails had an attitude for whatever reason.IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO SERVICE, MAKE SURE CLIENTS ARE SATISFIED AND YOU TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT!!This place lacks professionalism!!
I rarely leave reviews, especially bad ones, because I always like to give businesses the benefit of doubt. But for this place, I completely had to.This isn’t my first time visiting this place and each time it just gets worse. Today was my last straw, and I will not be returning for the following reasons:They are not the cleanest. They use the same tools on multiple people. The area where you put your hands under the UV light is dirty. I wonder why nobody cleans it.Secondly, they are not gentle. If I have acrylics on, why not soak it off? Or offer to soak it off even if it’ll cost more? No, this lady decides to forcibly remove my old acrylics with the fake nail tips. My back “massage” was so painful, I’d rather I hadn’t gotten it at all. They rush your service. They literally do the least and expect the most. The literally rush everything and charge you exorbitant prices for it. And have the nerve to ask for a tip at the end after such a horrible service. They are also are very rude. They they treat you as if you’re bothering them when you come in for a service.Go there at your own risk.
I walked in and asked for a specific manicurist and was told I would have to wait a bit. I wanted a manicure and a pedicure. Pedicure didn’t matter who did it. Anyways I got there at 5:30pm and waited until closing for them to start my pedicure and the front desk guy to tellMe the lady couldn’t do it. Literally when everyone was gone. Instead of checking on me during the visit, suggesting someone else or giving aheads up about the possibility of not getting her the front desk guy just waited until closing. He was not apologetic or anything the only response I received was I wanted a specific person who was busy. In fact I always have more issues then not when I go to this location especially with the front desk guy. Just horrible. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone
If I could give them 0 stars I would. The first time I went to them and got a gel pedicure it was bad. The paint job was horrible and my toes chipped by day 3. I decided to give them another chance. I went again last week (1/7/20) and by the next day my gel polish chipped. When I was taking a shower, I noticed it was coming off also. This is not my first time getting gel polish, so why is my polish chipping every time I get it done here. It was a TOTAL waste of my money. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.
Employees refused to put a clear gel top coat on my glow in the dark nail polish. Told me it cant be done. But Ive had it done. & I asked Siri - can I put a gel top coat over regular nail polish. She also said yes. Then they did my sisters nails - she said fill in. He took one nail off and replaced it with this. Disrespectful as well.
My pedicure was horrible... the guy cut me twice while cleaning cuticles and when I said something he got rude and defensive calling me sensitive... he didnt clean my feet well or use the scrapper because he said Im too sensitive and still charged me $42... I will never go back their
This wasnt my first time going g to Victoria Nails and Spa. Its very clean and spacious in there. They had the clear separators up for protection and all staff and clients were masks.I got a gel pedicure and a gel filling. It was $90. Thats a lot of money, and I knew going in that it would be some exorbitant amount. But they always do my nails well and decided to treat myself. However, I am planning on finding a nail salon thats not as expensive and does nails well.
I went this past Friday as a walk in and was serviced immediately. I went because my regular nail place was closed and I had a date the following day. I spent $52 0n a 20 min pedicure and $20 on nail polish for my 4yr old toes and nails (just polish). They charge for everything that is already included at my regular nail place. Both of my big toes have been burning since. It hurts so bad just from the touch of water. They are nice, however I wouldn’t return Even if I had an emergency.
Please Do Not waste your time & money at this place. They suck. Very unprofessional, insanitary & Only care about taking your money. I used to go here before & stopped for over a year. Yesterday I went back just bc I needed my nails done @ the last min & they don’t request you make an appointment. As soon as I sat down I realized Why I stopped going in the first place. Im assuming all the locations are the same bc I feel the same about the victorias on 174th st. in the bronx SMH. At least they’re consistent Lol
Worst place to go. DO NOT GO HERE! I went disregarding the bad reviews because its a big place with many nail technicians and it was 3 of us getting ready for a sweet 16. I ended up paying $175 for all 3. I got the powder nails which is supposed to last 3 weeks to a month. Now 3 days later the color fell off as if I had stick on nails. The technicians are very rude and nasty. And the pedicure actually made my feet worst. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. Dont waste your money here.
Do not waste your money or your time going here. Their services is poor and overpriced for their quality of work. I got a regular pedicure and was charged 42 dollars. The guy that did my nails missed a spot and didn’t cover my whole nail. I will never go back here. The guy that did my nails was rude. There was so much space between my nail and the acrylic. It looked like I had the nails on for at least a week already. Instead of paying attention to my nails the guy doing my nails was watching a soccer game on his phone. The only positive thing that I have to say is that I didn’t have to wait long. Other than that this salon is not worth it. Save your money.
These people do the BARE MINIMUM! Ive given this place many chances due to the convenience. However, theyve disappointed me each and every time. I believe the guys do a worst job than the women. Ive been doing my nails for over 30 years and know what to expect. These people take the easy way out. They no longer soak your hand in water before doing a manicure and just try to remove the cuticles with the machines - which doesnt work. In terms of the pedicure, they also do the bare minimum and probably hope you dont notice since is hard to look closely at your feet. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. You are better off just doing your own nails at home. SAVE YOUR MONEY or find a quality place. This is sad.
I go to this place like every 2 weeks. They are a little pricey but for the quality it’s totally worth it. All my sets so far have been complete art, should be in a museum somewhere lol. The place itself is very stylish and luxurious, the UV lamps are built into the table, the pedicure chairs all features a few massage options, free to use to your liking. The nail techs are amazing mostly. A majority of them are very friendly and very good with kids. I did have a very negative experience with Michael however, he was very disrespectful, slapping my hand because I turned for a second to make sure my child got to her step father safely. First time I’ve ever had an experience like that there and hopefully the last as I will refuse to see Michael anymore. All in all, if you’re looking for amazingly gorgeous, quality nails like on Pinterest? This is the place to go.
Prices are extra high did not like how my eye brows turned out especially she can’t speak English communication was off someone else had to finish the work, I asked her how much it was before we started she told not to worry about it just to come and over charged me I hate leaving bad reviews hopefully their will be a change worst experience ever!!!
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with my nails. I have never written a review before but I am in such disbelief about how poorly my nails were done. I went for a fill and my nails look worse than they did before. I asked the guy if he could fix the “bulkyness” of my nails and he barely made the effort. He told me there was nothing he could do. He was rude and very unprofessional. Very poor customer service. Now I want to take them off because they look so horrible. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I do not recommend.
One good thing about this place is that you’ll be in and out in about 45 mins or maybe less, but the speedy service comes at a cost of severe nail damage and possible fungus. My nails still have not recovered since my visit in the summertime. 🥺 DON’T GO HERE IF YOU HAVE HEALTH NAILS. THEY WILL DAMAGE IT.
One of the male staff damaged my all of my nails while removing acrylic. My natural nails are healthy and I don’t do acrylics more than 2x a year. I do not recommend coming here, and many of them trash talk their clients right in front of their faces in their language just for them to unknowingly tip them afterwards. Just remember- you all wouldn’t have a job if not for your customers!!
I had my nails done a few days ago at this establishment, I was hoping to go back and get them fixed because two nails broke off from handling furniture. Online it states the store closes at 9:30 pm, I got there at 8:00pm. When I arrived, The front desk told me they were closed! Not only is the store hours misleading but their Customer Service is HORRIBLE! The guy at the front desk literally shooed me out like I was bothering him! I explained I just quickly wanted my broken nails repaired. He just kept saying they were Closed and walked off! He gave me no explanation as to why they were closing early or explained to me the correct store hours if there was one ! No courtesy! No compassion! No hospitality! No decency. I asked another nail technician if he can help fix my broken nails, HE IGNORED me while he was counting cash. DO NOT go out your way to come here! save yourself the trip and go somewhere else! who’s to say you go there at 7pm tomorrow and they tell you they’re closed with no explanation, and just brandish you out! These type of businesses only want to make money off our communities and have no intent in having positive rapport with their Customers! Extremely Disappointing!!
Crystal is truly amazing and nobody will ever compare to her. She is very sweet and passionate about her work. Regardless to how many customers she might have you will always get the same quality and service everytime. Ive watched other workers rush and do customers pedicures in 10-15 minutes after paying such an expensive price for services at this place. I must say Im disappointed that the 20% discount on Tuesday for pedicures being discontinued after today. Wish they still accepted appointments at this location like in the beginning when they first opened.
This place feels like a real spa! However, they just assume you dont want acrylic and automatically charge you for sculpting gel. They are a little pushy trying to accommodate many people hustling that money. I would bring about $100 or dont bother coming. They charged me $20 for design on each finger. They showed me a few pics on phone. Maybe you want to find your own styles on pinterest. He did do a good job but he didnt give me color options or options period. Pretty narrowed down choices. They run their salons in a communist way. They seem to overwork their workers & put pressure over them. They stand over them carefully watching every movement with a serious face. Made me a bit uneasy. The workers looked like a fake happy, uneasy at times, & robotic. I feel bad for them, hope they are paid well. They are definitely racking in money. The man was drilling/sawing my nailbed too much told him I barely had one there. Then when he put the gel and then the UV light, I almost screamed for each finger because the gel started burning. I quickly put near fan. Im not sure if that is normal. They do look more natural. I will see how long it lasts. It is very posh & clean and ventilated. They dont ask for a tip, they expect one.
I got a set of acrylics from this spot in Bay Plaza. As a native Bx girl, I knew I had to be doing it in the Bx and felt compelled to try this beautiful new spot out. Ive gone a total of 3 times - 1 set, 2 fills. So heres the deal. The pricing is a little weird and you dont seem to get the correct price for anything until the moment you hand over your card. For that lack of transparency or perhaps confusion alone I knock off at least 1 star.Regardless. The staff is nice enough, but the check in system needs to be reconfigured. Nothing like 12 people turning up at OPENING and having to wait 30+ minutes. If they mumble or mispronounce your name and you miss it, you get bumped down to the end of the list. (I went recently with 2 friends, and my entire fill was finished before they were even seated... how?!)In terms of the nail artistry itself... The final product has turned out really visually lovely 3/3 times, BUT I have always gotten the sense of a lack of sanitary procedures along the way. I have been cut by the dremel each time and wondered if I would get an infection that required an amputation from the knuckle up. They definitely rush through it and some technicians are rougher with the handling than others. After my most recent fill, I left with gel polish on my cuticles (wtf) and splatters underneath my nails, the final shaping job a tad too chunky to be believable.Would I return? If Im in the area and need a fill, perhaps! You weigh the pros and cons for yourself.
If you are doing a regular manicure and pedicure…no one really wants to deal with you despite the fact that this costs almost $50.00. The bare minimum is done or not at all. Complete waste of money and my time. Never again. I literally felt nothing. Jacked up for sure.
Im a usual here but after my last visit I will not be returning. They last guy that did my nails was rushing and finished in about 15 minutes for a full set. Gel polish looked very sloppy around the cuticle area, not sure what his name was but he sat towards the left corner, kind of chunky. Also had a gel pedicure done with tips on the big toe witch fell off 2 days later. Definitely not worth the extremely high prices. I’m very disappointed because I travel far to come here
I’ve been doing my nails here for a couple of years now because I prefer the gel over acrylic. I stick with only one person for my nails. I just wish they’d do a better job of pedi’s. For what they charge is not worth it. $43 for a gel pedi to be in and out the chair in 15 minutes. Literally just soak, buff and polish. For $7 more dollars I get a full spa treatment. 5 stars for the nails. 0 starts for pedi.
The nail tech, Steven I think was his name was awful, looked like he was in such a rush while doing my nails. I’ve never had my nails done in 30 minutes (gel mani and regular pedi) he didn’t take his time to pay attention while applying the clear coat on my nails and the clear coat is not fully covering my nails.I would never recommend this place.Save your $70 and spend it somewhere else.
I have been to this salon on 4 different occasions and every time was a disappointment. My manicures and pedicures come out uneven and they do a sloppy paint job. They do a very rushed job and it feels like theyre trying to get rid of you quickly. I am always polite to the employees but once they try upselling me and I respctfully decline they become rude. I always tip regardless. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I always see it full of customers but I am never coming back here again.
Worse they charge a arm and leg, on top of that the shape of my nails was not even coffen. my nails was uneven from my other hand. Some was shape wider than others. I had to go back the next day to fix it because they wouldn’t refund my money, but try to argue that’s how it looks or suppose to look. When I already had this exact shape and length done before. They couldn’t even soak it out and change my nails saying it’s already done. This place is not it at all pedi yes the girls did good but mani never again. Just so I’m not wrong I ask 3 different guest and they all agreed with me that’s not how nails look. The service is to make you spend more so if you don’t ask Questions or remind them nor get a price before they start .. it mess you over.
On Saturday the 25th of September, I got my powered dipped nails. While the lady was doing it, I felt like she kinda rush it. With that she cut me! My pinky wouldn’t stop bleeding for about 10 minutes which then she started to take her time. Once she finished my other nails, she was doing my pinky again and whiling she was doing it, you can tell that it is super uneven and bumpy. I thought she was going to fix it but she didn’t. After sitting there after she finish my nails, you can tell how bumpy my other nails were. She told me sorry but that wasn’t enough. It honestly looked like a little kid did my nails. Not only that but my nails started to come off 4 days later!! It started to lift and pop off. Two of my nails came off already and the others are weak. I thought I would get the top quality from this place but I didn’t. I hope this situation can be fixed as soon as possible.
I was recently told about Bella and her wonderful job with doing Microblading brows, and the half-off sale. My brows look nice. However, they are not evenly shaped. I had to have her fix some areas and the next day, I came back because I was still not 100% pleased. Bella was willing to correct it, but I rather have another person look at it for now. I feel she would have done a better job if she wasnt hustling nails job during my appointment. AND NO...SHE DID NOT DO MY LASHES..LOL.
THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER. Its like an assembly line in this place. I left so late, I didnt have time to stay and fix them. So I fixed them at home, having to remove 2 gels bc the paint started to peel. Thankfully, I have my own led and polish at home, and used another color that went with. Not even for a quick late night open salon visit is this place good for.
I’ve been here about 3 times. The last time I visited I asked for a regular mani. The man who did my nails just dipped my nails in water and shaped them but didn’t remove any cuticle. I was so annoyed when he kept asking me what color I wanted that I said I don’t want any color and he just painted them clear. I was ready to blow up on him but my boyfriend asked me not to. On top of that I was charged $40 for that horrible service. Luckily, my boyfriend had already paid it, which I was also mad about!! This happened about 3 years ago and I said I would never go back and haven’t since!
FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING HERE!!!I WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND TO COME HERE AND BOY DO I WISH I WOULD HAVE JUST WENT SOMEPLACE ELSE. I CAME INTO VICTORIA NAILS AND SPA THE DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY TO GET SOME PAMPERING AND TO GET A PEDICURE AND MANICURE WITH NAIL DESIGN. I WAS SO EXCITED AS I WAS RECOMMENDED BY A CLOSE FRIEND. I FIRST GOT THERE AND IT WAS SUPER CROWDED AND NOT MANY NAIL TECHS ON THE CLOCK. I DECIDED TO BE PATIENT AND GIVE THEM A TRY ESPECIALLY SINCE I DROVE A LONG WAY TO GET THERE. BEFORE GETTING STARTED I ASKED TO SEE THEIR NAIL SWATCH STICKS. A YOUNG GUY THERE WHO DOES PEDICURES WALKED ME OVER TO A WALL WHERE HE STATED THEY HAD A MATCH FOR BOTH GEL NAILS AND FEET. I TOLD HIM I FEEL BETTER LOOKING AT THE SWATCHES BECAUSE I KNOW GEL COLOR CAN LOOK DIFFERENT WHEN APPLIED TO THE NAIL. HE INSISTED I PICKED FROM THE WALL AND TOLD ME DONT WORRY WE HAVE THESE COLORS. I FELT UNEASY FROM THE BEGINNING BUT I PICKED A LAVENDER COLOR AND DECIDED TO RELAX AND TRUST THE PROCESS. THE GUY BARELY BUFFED MY NAILED. BARELY SHAPED MY NAIL AND NEXT THING I KNEW HE WAS WASHING MY FEET OFF TO APPLY COLOR. I LOOKED OVER AND ALL THE OTHER FOOT TECHS WERE TAKING THEIR TIME AND SMOOTHING DOWN THEIR NAILS. THE GUY APPLIED THE COLOR AND I THENI ASKED HIM TO STOP APPLYING IT BECAUSE IT WAS MUCH DARKER COLOR THAN WHAT I WANTED AND DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE COLOR ON THE BOTTLE. I PICKED OUT ANOTHER COLOR AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED A 10.00 FEE ALTHOUGH HE NEVER PRESENTED ME WITH A COLOR SWATCH IN THE FIRST PLACE. HE HAD TO DO MY NAILS OVER TWO TIMES AND EACH TIME IT CAME OUT LUMPY. HE BLAMED IT ON THE NAIL POLISH. ANOTHER WOMAN WHO WORKED THERE COULD SEE MY FRUSTRATION AND CAME BEHIND HIM AND REDID MY FEET PERFECTLY, NO LUMPS, NO PROBLEM WITH THE NAIL COLOR.I THEN WAITED PATIENTLY TO GET MY MANICURE AND I SAT IN LINDAS CHAIR. I WAS ANNOYED THAT SHE KEPT LOOKING AT HER WATCH LIKE SHE HAD SOME PLACE TO GO. OTHERWISE I TOLD HER ID BE USING THE SAME COLOR. I WAS THEN TOLD BY LINDA THAT I COULD NOT USE THE SAME COLOR ON MY TOES BECAUSE IT WASNT A MATCH. I INFORMED HER THE PERSON WHO DID MY PEDICURE TOLD ME THAT THE WALL HE TOOK ME TO WAS A MATCH WALL ( THIS IS WHY I WANTED TO SEE THEIR NAIL SWATCHES BEFOREHAND) I SPENT 10 MINUTES LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COLOR TO COME AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE AS THE ONE I HAD ON MY TOES. I FINALLY AGREED ON ANOTHER COLOR AND THEN LINDA CONVINCED ME TO GET THE UV GEL NAIL MANICURE SO I AGREED( IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY RIGHT?..WHY NOT) . I TOLD HER HALF WAY IN I WANTED A NICE NAIL DESIGN WITH RHINESTONES AND SHE AGREED IT COULD BE DONE. AFTER APPLYING THE LAST COAT LINDA STANDS UP AND TELLS ME HOW MUCH. I INFORMED HER I WASNT DONE AND I TOLD HER I WANTED THE NAIL DESIGN. ( AGAIN SHE KEPT LOOKING AT HER WATCH) THERE WERE ALSO MANY OTHER PEOPLE WAITING SO IM NOT SURE WHY SHE WAS IN A RUSH WITH ME WHEN I HAD ALREADY WAITED TWO HOURS AND A HALF FOR SERVICES. IF I HAD TO WAIT THEN PEOPLE BEHIND ME HAVE TO WAIT TOO...RIGHT? SHE PLACES THE DESIGNS ON MY NAILS AND COATED MY NAILS ONCE WITH TOP COAT.BEFORE I EVEN GOT OUT THE CAR AND TURNED THE KEY INTO MY HOME ONE RHINESTONE CAME OUT. OKAY NO BIGGIE RIGHT? THEN I WASHED MY HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER A SECOND STONE COMES OUT. NOW IM FRUSTRATED. BUT I ALSO HAD TO PACK MY CLOTHES BECAUSE ID BE LEAVING ON VACATION THE NEXT DAY. I WOKE UP DAY OF MY FLIGHT AND TWO MORE STONES MAGICALLY CAME OFF IN MY SLEEP. I CALLED THE BUSINESS MORE THAN ONCE AND NOBODY WAS ANSERWING THE PHONE. I SAID OKAY I WILL HANDLE THIS WHEN I GET BACK. I GET ON THE PLANE ANOTHER STONE COMES OFF. I GET TO MY HOTEL WHERE IM GOING AND 3 MORE STONES COME OFF. I WAS SO DISGUSTED.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF YOU WANT A PEDICURE AND MANICURE THAT WILL LAST FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR DONT COME HERE!! I SPENT 110.00...YES 110.00.. NOT INCLUDING TIP FOR BOTH MY NAILS AND FEET AND IT ALL STARTED COMING OFF BEFORE I EVEN GOT IN THE DOOR OF MY HOME. LESSON LEARNED NO MORE. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE.
Can I give 0 stars? This was the worst pedicure and Mani of my life. They guy just wanted get rid of me and take another client. I have natural long nails in my hands and he cut it of completely without my authorization. For the pedi he didnt even use any lotion or exfoliant on my feet, just a horrible soap. The front desk skiped my place on line and had to wait another 30 mins to start the service.
I got my nails done by Michael he didnt do anything I asked for. He also pressured me too get umbra because it was easy then when I said I dont want this, he said no ill do this and what u want. Then when he did the umbra he said I got to go home. His a slick con artist but he will never get my money again!!!!!! I hope the extra he charged gets him far.
I’ve been here plenty of times sometimes it’s ok and sometimes not. Every time however I feel rushed and not given enough time to dry my nails. The last time I went the man cut me so bad with the tool that cuts around the cuticles. My toe was bleeding and even as I got home it continued to bleed that’s how severe the cut was. I’m so disgusted and disappointed that they are charging so much for this type of service.
I stopped going to this place because they’re more concerned with making money, nails are not being done correctly. The goal should be to keep they’re clients happy and satisfied but it’s not.. The first time I went to the salon, a nail tech by the name of baby did my nails and I was very impressed. After that it’s been complete down hill for me. Baby is always booked, and if I call to make an appointment. I’m told by the manager there’s no appointments. That it’s first come first serve basis. The money isn’t the issue for me. I have no problem paying for good work and service but my nails have to be done to my liking.
I understand I got there late , but my boyfriend and I went in at the same time. The woman that took care of my boyfriend (Helen) was amazing. She was great in every way possible really took her time and asked the necessary questions to please my boyfriend. All I wanted was a pedicure. The man who did my nails was very rude. Did not remove the nail polish I had on before which was black. I asked him 3 times if we was going to use nail polish remover he said yes. Did not use it at all. He shaved them down … I proceeded to tell him AGAIN that there was black nail polish on my toe he says “thats not color” -,- THEN he ignores my request on shaping of MY toe nail and he said “no it won’t look good like that” he then rushes through the process. My toe nails are not fully painted. And I received gel nail polish. Very disappointed in the service by that man. All together it was $80 and the nails (to me that look at them all the time) are trash. Not worth $80 at all. I would also like to add that I have been to places where they charge me $35 and the job is done a lot better.
Went here for the first time and will never go back. First they try to up sell you on everything, I just wanted a regular pedicure. Ive never had a pedicure that was fine in 15 minutes! The person who did my nails didnt do the cuticles and didnt even put lotion. First and last time ever for this place
Esther was very nice this is my second time coming and she’s always sweet does an amazing job. This is my new spot everyone is so friendly and you guys do an amazing job. Next time I’m gonna get my eyebrows done , this time I got a manicure , first time was a pedicure LOL but the end of the summer I’m tryna get everything y’all have to offer. I can’t wait til try the spa treatments 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Got a Pedicure. When i asked the wker to allow me to soak a little longer he said no, then i asked could he and soap to the water her rudely said no can not do and began to mumble. As I asked him to explain, he said No More Talking! He BARELY Brushed the Toes. DONT LET THE LOOK OF THE PLACE FOOL YOU THAT U WILL GET GOOD SERVICE. THEY CHARGE $$32. A RIP OFF FOR WHAT YOU GET. NEVER AGAIN!
Let me tell you something Eric is the worse!! The attitude was horrible DONT WORK IN A NAIL SALON IF YOU DONT HAVE PATIENCE. And a horrible experience. I basically paid to be uncomfortable. I don’t understand how you bring me the wrong color and get mad at me because you brang the wrong color then gets impatient with me because they ran out of the color I wanted. Then when I try to pay without any color they were still charging me 32. So I decided to just do it since I’m paying 32 and then they say oh now it’s 42 cause of gel!!!! The worse experience ever!!! I suggest if you want to pay extra and get bad attitude go do your nails there.
The woman I saw was Hellen. Thanks to her I now have brand new feet, definitely the highlight of my day. It’s been years since I’ve gotten a pedicure and I’ll definitely give them my business again. Got a 30min massage a few years ago here as well, pleased with that too!
The first time I went to Victoria’s Nails & Spa, I had a great experience. The spa pedicure was excellent. I might consider returning to get a spa pedicure from Peter. My manicure was great. Beautifully done. A little pricey but when I was very satisfied. My second visit was not as great. The guy who did my nails rushed. He did not clean up the cuticles, did not even rub lotion on my hands. I left with nice gel nails but three days later they started chipping. It did not even last a week. I paid $72 just for the nails on my hands. Pricey and it was not worth it.Based on the 2nd visit, I wont be returning. I do not want to pay high prices without knowing that I will get 100% excellent service.
$32 for a basic pedicure, that I was in the chair for about five minutes. I can cut my own toenails. They didnt want to do anything else but cut the nails for the $32. Ridiculous. Dont waste your money. On top of that they only take cash now. I guess theyre hoarding cash to send it to the Chinese Communist Party back home.
Please save your time and look for other establishments in the Bronx that care about quality. I went in for SNS gel manicure and was horrified. I went here regularly but my favorite nail tech left but I decided to give one more try. DO NOT get your SNS gel done by Philip. It WILL BE RUSHED, not shaped properly, and you’ll be left disappointed. I do not know why they hire staff that do not know how to do nails, or why staff aren’t honest in their ability to do certain jobs. Luckily, a woman came and fixed his mess. The urge for money over quality is very dominant in this establishment and from seeing the reviews it is a common theme. If you find someone good there stick with them, or else you’re running a high risk of disappointment.
High end price but low budget experience.. This is the worst gel manicure Ive ever had. They charge to cut down your nails( which is crazy). At the end of the nail service most nail salons put a warm towel or bare minimum put lotion on your hand. Not this nail salon. She just put oil on my nails at the very end of the service. In addition, they let a guy walk in for service with no mask. Over priced salon. The nail tech name on my receipt is NANCY T#011. She was hustling for another customer before she was finished with my nails. On the phone while working on me. When I ask her to try polish on my nails to see if I liked it. She told me no. It wasnt a good experience. If your use to quality service. This isnt the place for you. The owner responded to my review asking me to call the salon. Ive called several times and no answer. Poor customer service.
My best friend and I came here for pampering and while i received almost great service she was dealt with horribly, her nail tech was very rough and bruised 3 of her fingers. I do have to add a warning their uv light is illegal because it burns like crazy and isn’t a uv light, its a regular light bc its white and not blue. This place needs to be immediately
This place is very clean and people friendly , the quality is always good . David is AMAZING , super nice and always pays attention to detail. Pricing is good . Stephen does great on your pedicures, you will feel like your at a spa. You will always be satisfied. 5 STARS RESULTS ALWAYS
Dissatisfied!!! Went in this morning a nice fella sat down to do my nails...it all went downhill from their ...he was very nice but inexperienced...he didnt know how to shape the nail properly...simple round shape. I picked a minty green color...at first dip I told him it was the wrong color...he assured me it was the right color...WRONG!!! The color looks pretty but my nails were horribly done. I hope he gets his practice in but it will not be on me.
My very first time coming here and it was awful. I never been so disappointed and dissatisfied at the results. I wanted to soak my nails and he took them off with fake nails and rip my natural nails apart. Then he left some fingers longer than the others. Finally I paid in cash and he took a $5 tip without asking me. Very unprofessional I’m so unhappy.
Went there today for eyebrows, mani and pedi and I’m horrified. All 3 things together took less than an hour. The pedicure was the worst , all he did was file my nails and color 32 dollars is ridiculous. They are nice and very clean and it’s the only reason I gave them two stars . Never going again unless it’s and absolute emergency
Dont have basic manicure service such as buffing. Dont have fast dry top coat - technicians tried to sell me on gel polish which I do not like to use. Dont have clear polish - used top coat polish that was chipping before I left. TRASH Service compared to when this place first opened. Not the nail salon to go to if you dont do the 4in long nails with stones and decor. Definitely not worth $45. I came to be pampered for a few minutes, not rushed out the door to pay because they want to go home. Pedi turned out okay but I could have done better.
Literally did my toes yesterday and today my nail is completely broken with the polish coming off ! I asked for my money back and were rude and said no .. Completely unprofessional! I WANT MY MONEY BACK BEFORE I TAKE LEGAL ACTION! I HAVE NO PROBLEM GOING TO THE NEWS !
This is the second time I’ve gotten my nails done at this locations. Both times I’ve never had an issue.. Justin did my nails this visit (full set, pink gel). He was very attentive and offered good advice instead of allowing me to spend money on something for my nails I’d be dissapppinted about in the future. He took his time and I am very pleased with his work.. the place was almost full at approximately 10:15am, however I was able to be seated immediately upon arrival, which was great. I will definitely be returning..
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! My cousin recommended me to this place so I went for the first time Tuesday 6/18 I went in asking for Acrylic nails regular not gel the lady said $35. So I went to the person the lady told me to go to, he was so rude he made two of my nail bleed and then on top of that he said Gel $52 I said no thank you regular polish, I told him again no thank you. He got up set and from what I understood he said next time I should go somewhere else if I don’t get gel. So he did my nails 2 times over it’s took for ever to dry I sat there for about 25 minutes and I needed to go, I still was not dry. The guy was so rude and didn’t apologize for making me bleed or anything. On top of all that as I was sitting there two clients walked out and two client were telling the person doing nails that they didn’t want that. Don’t waist your time going to this place it looks nice but they just want your money!!! The people are all rude!!! I wish I could give it negative stars!!!
I have been coming to this salon for about 2yrs and I’m am always satisfied. Want perfect nails June & Bella are the ones who can give you this. They are always courteous, engaging, respectful and always check to see if you are satisfied with your nails. I forgot the lady who does my feet but she is awesome as well. This place gets 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From me.Kathy M.
I have been here on numerous occasions to get my nails done and it is certainly hit or miss with this place. If it is a busy day the technicians will rush your session to get to the next person. The prices do not equate to the services provided. It is also extremely frustrating that technicians are always trying to add on services that you did not request. To make matters worse they get an attitude when you decline. Overall this location needs ample training on customer service/appreciation or they will eventually go out of business.
I went here one night around 9pm to get a pedicure they said they closed at 10. It was my only option because I had to get on a earlier flight the next day. I walked in at 9 and my pedicure was done by 9:12 pedicure wasn’t done properly. I got two big toes with acrylic and I asked so many times for it to be shaped properly and it wasn’t on top of that they didn’t clean up under the nail the acrylic is thick and digging in my skin. Not worth $40 for a pedicure and from the reviews bad work is a regular thing for this place never going back especially when you have other nail techs surrounding you talking s**t when women come to get their nails done pedicures or whatever service they pay for it should be relaxing not uncomfortable
I went to this place for the first time yesterday... A friend recommended it and I was very excited to try. I asked for a pedicure and acrylic nails. The pedicure lady did not use new tools at all. She could barely understand me and I couldn’t understand her. Their prices for services are clearly listed but for someone reason they guy that was doing my nails wanted to over charge me. He couldn’t do anything I asked because they don’t do it. I asked for acrylic tips no gel just regular which is stated to be 35 but the guy says the price is 75... I’m trying to speak to him but he is still trying to do my nails ignoring me... very unprofessional. Then I was switched to the lady who did my feet. I asked for a regular manicure and clear polish. My nails look like my 5 year old son did them.... then while my nails are drying she stood directly behind me the whole time saying they dry pay I have to go to lunch... My nails where not fully dried but I was so upset and wanted to get out of there I grabbed my things paid and will NEVER COME BACK. I normally don’t write reviews but to anyone considering this place don’t waste your time or money!!!!
I have been to many nail salons , and this one has by far been the WORST nail salon ever. You would assume that because theyre on the more expensive side, the service would be good but that is absolutely not the case. I went in for a full acrylic set with gel nail polish, and being that it was my first time there I was sent to a random technician. If you do end up coming here DO NOT GO TO TONY. I was not told that cutting down and reshaping the tips was going to cost extra. I was being rushed to choose a nail color, and a week in my nails are already coming off. I was charged $62 for a fell set when I usually pay $45 and get better service.
This nail salon is horrible! Not only is it overpriced by way too much, they dont use acrylic and lie that they do while putting something else on my nails. They thinned my nails so bad that they almost fell off, and putting my fingers under the lamp with the acrylic substitute they used was excruciatingly painful. Most workers were very rude and didnt understand.
I wouldnt advice anyone to get their lashes done there! I was there 2 weeks ago, my eyes watered during the process which the technician said was normal but it didnt stop for about an hour. Then I realized what it was she put the lashes so close to my inner lids that they were rubbing my eye! Blinking was very painful! tried taking them off that night with baby oil but they didnt come off! I suffered a whole week before I was able to take them off.The first gel nails I fixed there was amazing but the second was horrible, cant wait to take them off!
Do NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON! I used to go to MARTIN to do my gel nails which he did a decent job, but God forbid you need to fix a nail a day after that didnt dry properly due to their nail care or skills ,not mine, an attitude is given as if you werent always nice, giving good tip and even sent people there. The disrespect from Martin was a slap in the face when he told me to go to someone else because I always have a complaint in other words... Huh? I have never complained on him or had to come back to fix my nails even when he would rush my nails and not cut my cuticles or give a hand massage which is included with their expensive price! Then today, I tried this tech name ZING and he has no customer service skills either and his nail craft is sub par. He couldnt take constructive criticism when I complained of my nails looking unfinished or not neat. Their attitude is like they are doing you a favor!! Really? I truly believe that the Asian culture in the nail world working with us minorities is such a clash because of the language barrier and them talking about you in their language in front of you as if you cant infer its about you which was DONE TO ME TODAY is such a racist and UNPROFESSIONAL THING TO DO!! They have no etiquette. I truly believe they mistreat people of color this way often because they too, feel entitled or privileged in some way. I will BE REPORTING THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!!!!!
Service has consistently declined here. They don’t clean the tools properly that they use for the pedicures. The workers are constantly touching the garbage w/ the gloves they work in & then they go right back to giving pedicures touching people (NASTY). The floor in the pedicure area was disgusting. Let’s say nail care is not their top priority here. The nail techs are in a rush. They saw your cuticles off with the machine, do your nails & send you off. Tina the nail tech has done my nails the last 3 times I went. Let’s just say I will not be returning to the salon. It’s been a week & the nails are starting to come up which is very painful. This is the 2nd time this has happened. She told me they last 3 weeks. I tip her well and the service is expensive in itself & now I feel regretful in choosing to do my nails here with her. Currently looking for a new place. Beyond disappointed for the price.
Terrible experience! I Had my pedicure done here for my vacation, the employee who filed my nails used a drill and filed my toe nails too thin. Needless to say both my big toe nails cracked down the middle.I tried to get them done with acrylic afterwards and I was told by the employee that acrylic takes too long and they had to leave. My birthday is in 3 days and I literally am stressing on when I will find the time to get my nails done before I leave for vacation. I hardly write reviews but this was extremely disappointing.
This place sits inside the Bay plaza mall and it’s very convenient, the staff speaks very little English and only speak among themselves in they’re language, most of them know what they’re doing, some of them rush and sometimes rude. I have my comfort so I always ask for the person I know by name, 3 stars worthy, compare to other mega Nail Salons, prices are decent.
This place isnt horrible in my opinion. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what services I wanted. I replied pedicure, eyebrows and eyelash extension. The gentleman in the front set me up with someone right away, didnt have to wait. (I got there at 7pm). When I sat down, the woman convinced me to get the spa pedicure so I said sure why not since it was my birthday. She did a great job shaping my nails, did the callus remover and gave a bomb massage and used brand new tools since I saw opening a new bag. Only thing I didnt like was her polish, it came out streaky and not even. Same woman does my eyebrow wax which was also good. This is where it gets HORRIBLE. Same woman does my lashes. The eyelash extensions was TRASH. She put the lashes so close together, they came out so thick and clumpy. Also she put so much glue, they were hard as a rock. AND she applied them UNDER my natural lashes, right on my water line. They were so uncomfortable and in my opinion ugly. I told her I was not happy with them, so instead of charging me $75 she charged me $35. In total I spent $106. The spa pedicure was $60 and eyebrows $10 plus a service fee of $2.Id say go in for a pedicure and maybe brows if you need a clean up since it was nothing crazy/special. But definitely DONT go in for lashes.
I was a usual at this place, but not anymore. I went to go to do my nails before my birthday. My pedicure has never been painted so sloppy. Dont even get my started about when I got my fill in done. I got cut so many times and my nail shape doesnt even look even. I look like I got a mixture of almond and oval nail. Everything was completely rushed. Never going back !
Avoid Tony T at all costs. He could care less what your manicure looks like when hes through with you. Maybe if I had done a gel manicure, which costs more, than my regular manicure, which is only $10, he would care more. He couldnt be bothered to complete all the steps of a regular manicure as I observed all the other technicians do. Hes aggressive and is very dismissive. He had zero interest to clean the corners of my nails or apply any oil before or after he cut my cuticle. On a more positive note, Ive received the best service from Kenny. He really cares about the quality of his work and will ensure that you are satisfied with his service. I give Kenny 2 thumbs up.
Services: eyebrows and gel (UV) manicure. James did my nails. He was gentle and meticulous. He was awesome. Unfortunately I dont know the name of the young lady who waxed my eyebrows. She was engaging and professional. Overall I had a great experience. It was a great way to start my day. No waiting time. Im glad that I ignored the bad reviews. Visit them and judge for yourself.
Expensive and unprofessional. There’s no visible price list. You don’t even know what you’re paying for. I went in for a gel fill in and was charged $5.00 extra. I refused to pay it and they couldn’t confirm if there’s been a recent price increase. Tony is horrible. He did a poor job on my nails I was in a hurry as I had a plane to catch. I returned to fix my nails and they refused, even though Harry signed the receipt that they would honor a redo. They’re all about money and not service.Tamika. 👍🏾
Went in to get my nails done for an engagement photo shoot. Im not someone that regularly gets their nails done but i think it was overpriced. I got acrylic nails with a nude color and french tips. Nothing special and i was charged $70 for a full set (hands only). There was air bubbles on my nails and some nails were shorter than the other because he did not do a good job filing my nails. The nail tech straight out harassed me saying I should marry him instead. He took my kindness of expressing excitement about being engaged and turned it into something disgusting. It was not funny and he tried to convince me for a good 15 min about why I should marry him. It was such an uncomfortable situation even after I said its inappropriate. What a pig honestly. Bad nail job plus harassment.
I wanted to share my disappointment. After getting quoted $65.00 for a full set of Acrylic tips and a regular pedicure they charged me $87.00 and proceeded to argue with me. They also told me they would remove the tips if I was not happy and charged separately for everything. I did not ask for this special gel and he used that without notifying me. They rip customers off and change their prices every second......
Place needs to be reported to the department of health they do not follow proper protocol for doing nails. It is extremely disgusting. I was so disgusted at my last visit I will never ever ever go there again. The man tried to use the drain from the other girls tub that was just use five seconds ago that was still dirty. I had to Yahoo it’s all him that is a sanitary and disgusting. And then tell him to wash it was soap because he tried to just rinse it with water. At all my years of doing my nails this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Don’t go here. The staff also tries to overcharge you when you sit with them. It’s supposed to be one price and then they change it to a different price and also still expected A tip. This play should be shut down.
Let’s start by saying, I was looking for a place to do my pedi but it was late this was the only place that was open at 8 pm around the area. Why not give It a try right. I was in an out in about 10 minutes or less. The place and the people were completely unprofessional and the place was a mess. There was one person cleaning and I felt super horrible for her. The employees just leave things all over the place instead of cleaning things as well. They were very rude and what I gather one of the managers the employees or managers she was not in uniform and was pregnant was screaming at the employees super disgusting. The pedicure was just horrible. For 25 dollars you get attitudes, super bad pedicure (my toe nails she cut them and they were all cut as if a 5 year old cut my nails, did not remove the old nail polish completely and was painting over it when I mentioned something she got an attitude, i do better toes than this place. I literally payed to get my nails butchered and my toes completely horrible, I did not look at them and just wanted to leave. They are unprofessional and very rude. the front staff was as dismissive and as rude. There will not be a next time for me. Do not waste your time. Or money
They water down their nail polishes and the gel polish in light colors dont last long and literally start to fade and look dirty for lack of a better word. I used to really like this place when it was next to Macys but since theyve moved the quality of the product they use has gone down considerably. I am in search of another go to place to get my nails and feet done.
This place is something else, when yesterday July 15 , get a manicure n pedicure done. My pedicure took 5 minutes to get done including polishing my toes. My cuticles wasnt done and part of my toe nail wasnt polish. Spoke to the pregnant lady at the counter about my dissatisfaction also the nail technician. He ignore me and send me to get my nails done.I become very upset at the end of their service cause they refused to polish my toe n asking me to sit and wait for about 10 to 15 more minutes for him to fixed my nails. I become very upset eventually he came and fixed it and have the courage to be asking me for tip.WORSE NAIL SALON ,never again
This place is over priced and the work is less than mediocre. I spent 60$ on a gel full set with a design on two fingers. They used the liquid gel which which is garbage because the liquid gel doesnt last. The nail tech assured me it was better and it would last. Two days later two of my nails just slid off. I went back they fixed it. Three days later 4 more nails fell off. I had to go back twice within the week and the 2nd time I came they had an attitude. Not to mention the gel was starting to chip around the cuticles my nails looked disgusting after one week. By the second week when I should of been going back for a fillin all my nails fell off except for three. I would give zero stars if I could. The only nail tech thats any good is Zing but hes always booked.
I was amazed at how quickly I was taken. My nails were done in about an hours time. The guy was pretty nice. Those are my positives. Biggest issues: I walked in with long nails - left with very short nails. I did NOT ask for my nails to be cut. The whole thing cost me exactly $61 which included a $4 tip. I paid $57 for the CND gel. WHY? I was told that getting my acrylic redone with gel would cost $40, then getting my nails shaped round would cost $45 - and there was some other cost that brought it up to $50, so I opted to try this new thing. SMDH I told the guy - I did not ask him to cut my nails, and Im very perturbed about the $61 stubs I have to walk around with. I would not go back. I have never encountered a place that charges you by the shape of your nails (square vs. round). It was entirely too overpriced. I paid almost $40 extra than I would have, had I not been looking for a new nail salon. I usually pay $23 and thats with a cute design on my pinkies. $28 if I want gel. And at least I would have left with my long nails!8/1/19 (4:15pm) - Just got off the phone with a manage Rachel. I explained to her that I had written this review. She told me since I didnt call 1 week after the service, she would not be able to find a solution for me. I told her - the guy filed my nails down until they were short. I had to grow my nails out. What would the solution be? Would you put tips on? I dont want tips. She also informed me that they do indeed charge $5 for any shape that is not Square. I thanked her and told her I will not be back. I have since gotten the Snailz app, and now that my nails are longer, I will look for a new spot. Worse case scenario, Ill go back to my spot on White Plains Road btw 233rd & 234th.
Ever since Brian left service is horrible!!Came here to get a fillIn n two days after my nailWas lifting and instead of themFixing it when I went back the front desk says to come back bc they have a line but meanwhile I was a paying customer two days before and had the job not been so sloppy by Nancy I would have never been back to fix my nail. She was so worried about the gossip in the shop she didn’t pay attention to what she was doing at all. None of my nails matched shape that i came home n refilled my nails to my preference I was so annoyed at the horrible work I payed for. Never returning again .
I paid $75.00 for (“so called”) individual eye lashes that was a complete disappointment after just 24 hours for work that should have lasted at least 3 weeks. I’m noticing lifted glue on my eyelids, something that I’ve never experienced before when going elsewhere. I wish I could give them 0 stars and leave a comment. If you want quality work with REAL mink individual lashes? You’re better off going to Groupon, where you’re not overpriced for garbage work.

2022-04-21Decided to give this place a try due to moving in the neighborhood and despite the horrible reviews I wanted to give the place a chance . when I can come home I noticed the nail polish has scratch marks/ chips and I paid for gel polish, this shouldn’t happened. Besides the fact I got a spa pedicure which was amazing they changed my technician and gave me someone name Tom. During the whole procedure to get my cnd gel full set he was rushing all the time. I had to stop him Several times to see if the shape was the one I wanted and you can see in his face that he was getting mad and then it got to a point that when the jealous put on my nails and he was about to put the polish I still had just in my nails and when I told him no I have to go while she’s like no no no no how is it possible that I’m telling a nail technician how to do their job literally the nail polish looks like a five-year-old just painted my nails it was not worth the $176.30 paid for it specially if the total was 146 and I gave $30 as a tip absolutely never again am I coming to this place again

2022-02-24I got my nails done here today for my birthday next week Saturday and when I can come home I noticed the nail polish has scratch marks/ chips and I paid for gel polish, this shouldn’t happened. I paid $114 for acrylic gel nail set and spa deluxe gel pedicure and for what I got it wasn’t worth the amount. The nail technician was kinda rushing too and so there are a few mistakes besides the chipped polish. I’m very disappointed I usually have good experiences here. I hope other people have better experiences than what I got. Although everyone was very kind and respectful. I just wish my polish wouldn’t have chipped since my birthday is only a week away and can’t get them redone. :( these pictures are NOT worth $114

2022-06-17WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE, if you see these photos you would not think I got a pedicure last night!!!! If I could rate 0 I would! It was so rushed, he didn’t even clean the cuticles I have dry skin all around the painted nails. He didn’t do anything of a real pedicure, just took off previous polish, quick bottom foot scrub and painted. The paint job was SO SLOPPY!!! I’m looking at it now in the light and I see so many uneven layers of paint. 40 dollars for one of the worst pedicures I’ve ever ever gotten. DO NOT GO HERE WASTE OF $

2021-12-07Horrible!Horrible!Horrible!I tend to give businesses fair reviews of the services rendered and a second chance after making mistakes from years ago but this business seems to repeat itself with its lack of customer service practices and quality of work. They charge you for their mistakes.DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY SERVICES. All they care about is money and not the customer.I came here to get a simple gel manicure. On 12/7/2021 at 2:30pm, wasn’t even busy.I highly discourage anyone that considers coming here for convenience or because they work in the mall. Just wait until you have the time to go to your regular nail salon or use press on nails in the meanwhile. I swear to you it will save you time, aggregation and money.First off their color palettes Are not consistent throughout the salon.Second I came here on my lunch break which was more than enough time for them to complete the task at hand.Third When I brought the dilemma up to the nail tech (Rachel) she too realized that the color did not match the number on the pallet. Since she already polished one hand she got an attitude when asked to properly take off the color. She wanted to proceed by painting over the wrong color with the right one. I said No to fully remove it and paint on only the color requested and she began using the Dremel harshly on my nail beds causing a burning sensation.Fourth, I did not proceed with a gel manicure because of the attitude involved and the attempt to hurt me to correct something that was not my fault. I recorded Rachel when she was talking in her language to her coworkers and when I got it translated (to put it in nicer and shorter terms) she was complaining about me being difficult, when in fact I wasn’t. The issue today arose from what the nail salon provided as choices and not matching the actual polish color. Not because I at random wanted to change my color.Fifth I was charged $10 for a cuticle cutting job, whatever the heck that’s suppose to mean. When I only received an incorrect gel manicure. Why would a business charge a customer for their mistake after waking the customers time is beyond me.Sixth when I went back after my work shift was over and asked for them to takeoff the polish they had the audacity to tell me they were going to charge me to takeoff the nail polish color that I never wanted. Trust me when I write that they removed the color at no charge.

2022-02-24I go here when Im in a hurry and just need my nails done... I usually leave here like whatever I just needed them done but truthfully Ive never been fully satisfied. Maybe I just havent found the right person in the salon. But they are usually stingy with their gel. For whatever reason If you dont tell them to cover your entire nail with gel they dont. I dont know why I should have to request a complete job. But like I said when I just need to get them done I go here because they are open late. Otherwise this is NOT my go to place. They charge full price but dont do a full job.

2021-11-17I was very unsure when first attending this place. I’ll be 100% honest the first time I went I requested sculpting gel for my nails. The man that they put me with was terrible so far as to cut me three times. He ended up taking money off and apologized for his lack of skill. I decided to give them another try and did not go back with him. They put me with Nancy who has done my nails for the past 6 sets I’ve had. And she is a doll and extremely skilled with doing nail art. Definitely recommend seeing her if you want your nails done right and to be in general heard.

2021-07-07I went in as a walk-in. I had to wait over 2 hours to get my nails done. It was extremely busy that particular day. What I originally wanted, my tech couldnt do. However, she still managed to make my nails look fabulous.

2022-02-10Great and efficient service. The girls are wonderful and gentle with your nails. Love that they have so many gel colors and designs. Wait time is really good too. They also have some really nice designs for special occasions or just because. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for.

2022-02-05I was bought here by my close friend and have been coming back ever since. It is convenient because its inside the mall. I go to Nancy who does a great job! My nails last long time, and even when the color grows out, they still look great! 👍🏾

2022-07-02I was not happy this visit as I am normally. Granted it is always a toss up on who you get however I didn’t appreciate having to pay around 62:42 on just a simple pedicure and a callus removal. (It’s the same thing I normally would get) No gel and the whole interaction was about 10 minutes meaning that it was half done. I communicated to my the person doing my nails this is to much to be charged and it was way to fast to enjoy the experience. he simple said he is busy so this is has to be quick. I’ve been coming to this establishment since it opened and I’m appalled on how they take care of the clientele Now a days I believe this will be my last visit. I would highly recommend that you take you business else where if you want the “spa” aspect and the price as well it’s simply not worth it, when there is minimal effort in the “experience” you pay for.
