Loved this place. It was big enough to give the children (both 5yrs) some freedom but small enough to keep an eye on them. It wasnt too busy (we went on a Thursday) just a few class outings but no crowds. We stayed almost two hours and the girls wanted to come back later which we did, so it was definitely worth the price.
This is a great amusement park for younger kids (3-8 probably). My son really enjoyed it. It’s fairly tiny because it all fits in the space of the ice skating rink. There are roughly a dozen different rides, maybe half can be ridden by kids under 36” if you bring younger siblings. The problems are it’s overpriced and the heat. There is no shade and there is very little to keep you cool. You’ll see a privileged group here so be prepared for the nonsense that follows.
Great park!It is a great place to take kids when you are visiting Central Park but the thing is there is Entry fees and you have to pay for each ride again or you can buy some offer/package which would include most of the rides and would be expensive.Staff was polite and helpful. Rides were clean and fun.All in all the place is OVERPRICED. We would not be returning anytime soon.
It is very enjoyable for kids under the age of 10. Even 10 is pushing the limit. There is little shade for adults to sit in and teenagers get bored easily. It is perfect for city kids who dont see amusement parks that often, but on the other hand their park hours are very unpredictable. The staff is mediocre at best, but nothing more. The prices are fine, but on thing that bugs me is that once u pay admission to the park if your child wishes to play any games then you must purchase more tickets. You can feel free to let your child run free as you can see everything because it is a small park. Overall good experience, but really for smaller children.
GET THE UNLIMITED RIDES BRACELET. You will get more than your monies worth. They have a decent amount of fun rides you might want to cycle through a few times during your visit. I was so surprised to find this little amusement park hidden in Central Park. I dont know how I missed it but Im glad I know where it is now. Food and drink is a little pricey for what you are getting, but its to he expected when no outside food and drink is allowed. I did enjoy some popcorn and Iced Coffee while I was there though. I plan to visit again soon.
If you buy a day pass beware if you don’t have a wrist band they don’t let you on with 2 years old. Uncomfortable situation in where my nephew wanted to get on a ride but not alone I had been on a few rides no one ask me for a wrist band except for this one ride the tea pot . Spoke to a manager by the name of Mr Roger he said no . My nephew first time at the park he is 2 yrs old . I saw someone else with out a wrist band get on but I feel cause I was Latina he ask me . I showed him my receipt of payment showed it payed for 5 nothing worked unacceptable. Last time I come here .
Very nice especially staff well most some rode on rides with my granddaughter because they saw grandma was having trouble getting out of them. But only when 2 staff were on the ride didnt purchase food because of the lack of cleanliness at the food court must do better there bathrooms were clean overall great experience my granddaughter had a ball so did I felt like a kid again
This is a great B-Day party option for us New York City folk---with one big but... That is, that there is very little shade there in Victorian Gardens Amusement Park and there are times in the summer here in NYC where it can be just brutal. Still, theres a lot to do there...and, early in the season, it is a lot of fun.
Generally great for young kids (not fit for teenagers), but overwhelmingly costly. Setting is amazing. Accompanying adults can enjoy part of the rides, and they do have some larger seats for that. Whats really annoying is that the ice skating rink says Trump all over it, the water is also Trump mineral water and the food is also very expensive. Tip: go close to opening time and enjoy less lines.
This is a very convenient little amusement park inside Central Park. Its not inexpensive, and everything is Trump branded, but the kids have a great time. Anything that will keep kids outside and entertained is a win. There isnt much shade outside, so be prepared with sunscreen and water.Theres an indoor area (its a skating rink in the wintertime, its the try-on and skate rental area) that has some food and arcade style games and some small cafeteria tables.
Cute little spot in central park to take the kids. They have abt 13 rides in total and i think abt 6 of them are for those 36in and under. If you go during the weekday its perfect because there arent any real lines. Their site says no outside drinks allowed but we saw several peeps w it. Only downside is that aside from the ladies at the entrance all the teens working the rides had MAJOR attitude and looked miserable.
This place would be sooo much better if their staff would be nice to people. They act and look like they dont like their job. Ive seen them screaming at the kids when giving instructions to them. They are so rude and nasty, and such an ugly attitude in their faces. This amusement park needs to train their staff and have a meeting with them. They want business, so their goal should be to make people want to come back to them. From my part they lost a customer who only bought unlimited tickets, but I cant tolerate ungrateful people who hate their job being mean to kids. I literally put one of them in their place when that woman screamed at my child trying to give him instructions about the seatbelt of a ride, I stepped in and put that woman in her place. She tried to mess with the wrong kid. Anyways, NEVER AGAIN coming back to this place. Why would such a great place have miserable people working for them???
Clearly untrained staff member physically picked up my 2yo daughter in his arms without my permission and placed her in line, because she haf walked 2 feet outside the line. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. They will not present you with pricing options at the gate. If you simply say two, please they will immediately charge you the most expensive package--more than $50 a person!I got to pay full price for my daughter because she barely made the height limit with shoes on. While I expected no leniency and paid promptly, she was still refused rides once inside because she DIDNT make the height limit I minutes ago got to pay for. While I still pointed to her bracelet indicating she made the height limit at the gate, I was simply confronted with it doesnt matter.Other than the lack of professionalism theres no hint of shade whatsoever. If you have to go dont go on a hot day.

2018-09-26My 4 year old absolutely loved it. Everything was just his size! We went on a weekday and there was very little wait for the rides. There is almost no shade, so on a sunny summer day it can get really hot. The little pavilion is air-conditioned and you can buy very basic food there. I only wish we had time to go back again, as I am concerned that it wont be as much fun for a 5 year old next year. Highly recommend!

2019-07-18Excellent place for the kids. The rides arent overboard with G-force. Two problems the heat in New York can make the whole experience miserable. Only the frog ride has a fan with mist to help cool down the area. Then there is the topic with the food. Since New York is so diverse they try and make the food to conform with everyone. Which means BLAND. They dont allow you to bring your own food so your at their mercy! Also children under 36 inches enter for FREE NOT RIDE FOR FREE. Cause every ride you must be over 36 inches to ride unless accompanied by an adult which they have to pay.

2018-11-20Ideal location within Central Park, with views to surrounding Manhattan. This amusement park is very compact, so time is not lost walking from one end of the park to the other as in more sprawled out amusement parks. Pricing very fair, especially if one takes the all-day option. Concessions all fast food, but quality is decent, with several options available. Bathrooms spotless, impressive given their volume.

2018-01-16Great place for young kids & families to enjoy a nice summer day. My 5 yr old daughter enjoyed our unlimited all day pass. The rides were well suited for her age bracket. There are restrooms there and an indoor area to order food as well as take a break from the summer heat. Theres a nice variety of rides for kids even for the kids a little older than 5 yrs old (example: flying swings) but I felt its mostly suited for younger kids 3-7yrs old. There were a few large fans with water mist to stand in front of when its too warm. This helped a lot. Great place to visit.

2019-06-25A very fun amusement park that’s impressive for NYC. They of course gouge you with prices for various games, so it’s a racket, but no more than other such parks.

2019-09-23An amusement park in central park? Yes. A little pricey in my opinion unless you are planning on staying the whole day. You would think there would be better food options too. At the end of the day the little ones are going to love this place.
