Felt my son needed some lessons in defending himself, and he is on the shy side. Instantly took to this and wishes he could go every day. The people who run it treat every kid the same so there was no awkward new kid stuff.
My daughter is in the little dragons class and she absolutely loves it! The teachers are so friendly and really just genuinely love what they do, the prices are very reasonable, I love the atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I have recommended this place to all of my friends with children! Such a great find and one of the best decisions I have made was signing her up for the class!
My son is four years old and he loves victory MMA. These guys are highly skilled and highly trained to teach your child the craft highly recommend victory.
My daughter is 5 yrs old and started a few months ago. The teachers are AMAZING with the kids. The classes are fun, energetic and entertaining to watch. I can already see the positive influence they are having on her. The confidence and discipline she is getting from MMA is also helping her perform better in school and in her other sports programs. I highly recommend Victory!
My boys are new to Victory in East Islip and they love it! Best thing we did was singing them up. My oldest lacked confidence and in less than 2 months I already see a difference, plus they needed the fitness which they get a great workout. My youngest needed the discipline and he knows better not to fool around in class. The cost is nothing compared to the value you- Frank
Victory Mixed Martial Arts is a great atmosphere for adults and kids of all ages. There are plenty of instructors during the class to assist. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. My child looks forward to the classes and enjoys it very much. No matter what your skill set is I highly recommend checking out Victory MMA.
When our old martial arts school closed down we were so disappointed but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We couldn’t be happier at Victory MMA! What an incredible difference being a part of this school. The instructors are professional and have surprising control over classes given the age group and the average attention span of a 4 year old and still manage to keep things fun! My kids have learned so much and are much happier at Victory. The instructors really are incredible. The facility is very clean and the equipment is all well maintained. We love Victory!!
The instructional staff is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Victory provides a welcoming environment for both new students as well as a place to progress toward mastery. Three of my kids train here and have a great time. There are plenty of classes offered which is great for our busy lifestyle. My wife enjoys the cardio kickboxes classes while I attends the adult classes. Egos are left at the door and everyone works together to improve.
My daughter loves Victory. She looks forward to seeing her friends and learning new things each week. She loves teacher her little brother the loves she has learned and she is always so proud of herself after class. It is always clean and the instructors are fun and helpful. I highly recommend Victory!
My 7 year old started at VMA in Feburary and we cannot say enough good things. We love how clean the facility is, the room is sanitized after each class and temps are taken before they enter class. The instructors command respect and the students listen and learn. Its a fast-paced, high-energy class and offers an amazing workout for the kids. I love that classes are on zoom for families to watch from home instead of filling up the waiting area. I am very happy that we chose VMA for my son!
We love VMA. Both of our children have been attending MMA classes here for about 4 years now. All of the staff is friendly and the facility is always clean. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for martial arts classes for yourself or your children.
My boys love these guys! We drive from Babylon to East Islip because our boys tried other styles and wanted to come back to VMA. Great message, very active classes and very inclusive of all kids regardless of skill level or ability. Master Raimond is also very anti-bully and teaches all the kids about how to respect themselves and each other. They offer zoom so you can watch the classes and they are very good about communication, very responsive too. Worth every penny
Couldnt say more good things about this school. Master Raymond and sensei john are great. They focus on self control, discipline, how to handle a bully and also have a lot of fun. I have all 3 of my kids enrolled.
Was looking for the right place for my two kids (5 and 4) to get back into physical activity since the pandemic has been winding down and I am so happy I found this place! The instructors are great and so patient with my kids. They genuinely love it and look forward to it every week!
My son has been going to VMA for over 4 years now. His confidence has grown leaps and bounds thanks to VMA. Master Raymond is a great teacher, well qualified, and is liked by all. If you want your child to build confidence, learn how to defend themselves and learn discipline, this is the only school you should consider!!!!!
All the instructors are very friendly, more than understanding and easy to work with. It can get very busy, but they are always very patient with any questions or concerns you have. They respond VERY quickly to emails which is so appreciated. The fact that they have so many kids who have been coming here for years is a testament to how great they are!
My son is 8 years old and has been taking classes at VMA for a little over a year. The staff is so professional, and they create a structured atmosphere where the students respect them yet they also know how to get down to their level and have fun with them. I would highly recommend VMA!
My daughter has been going to VMA since she was 4 (now 12), originally in their West Islip location and now at their East Islip location. The instructors are top notch who truly care about the kids, improving their skills, self confidence and most importantly ensuring they are having fun along the way. HIghly recommend VMA!
This school is amazing! My son has learned so much since he has been going here. He talks about his classes all the time and is always super excited to go. The staff is wonderful and they work well with the kids! Would definitely recommend!
My Son started taking classes a few years ago. He was not much into sports, and I wanted to get him involved with something that would be good for him physically. From the very first day, it was easy to see how great the instructors were with the kids. It was also easy to see how much the martial arts helped my Son develop balance, coordination, balance and control. He is now a green belt, and I believe that the martial arts training that he received at VMA has given him confidence, as well as discipline. I would highly recommend VMA for any parent looking to get their kids involved in Martial Arts. No attitudes, just good instruction from highly respected teachers.
Excellent school and instructors .Thest studio is always maintained nice and clean . My daughters loved this school since first day she tried it out.She always looks forward to days she has classes and when she comes home she is tired from her lesson/workout...so thats a win for me.Very glad to be apart of Victory MMA.

I have been attending the kick boxing classes here for several months and it is awesome! Master Raimond is a superb instructor with a great personality and so much energy. He really makes the classes fun while at the same time pushing you the right amount to achieve your fitness goals. Ladies, I will say this, if you are looking to get in shape for the summer then this is where you want to be! People in the classes are all very nice and it is a great group to work with.
My children have been students at VMA for five years and have acquired great strength in both the physical and mental capacity. The teachers are not only kind but encouraging. I highly recommend VMA to all !
Staff is always helpful, understanding and patient. They are excellent with the kids with the activities and training, which have a tremendous help with them off the mat. It is always such a pleasant experience going in to drop the boys off for a class.

This place is amazing. It is full of people who care about giving you the best workout possible. I love the encouragement that I get, I love the workout and I love the people. Master Charles is an amazing leader and I couldnt be happier taking kickboxing classes there, I would never go anywhere else. I look forward to my workouts every week and I can feel myself getting stronger everyday. I have been taking classes there for about a year, and I will continue to for a long time to come. The only regret that I have is that I didnt start 10 years ago....get off the couch and sign up, you will be glad you did !!!!!!!
Cant say enough about Victory Martial Arts in West Isilp. I started out kickboxing just to get into shape. The workouts are like no other. They gave me confidence to start the Mixed Martial Arts program, and I am addicted! The people in class have become like family to me, and the instructors are amazing. If you live in the area definitely worth checking out!
I just started going for a month and a half now and it has made such a positive impact on my life. I am currently a white belt and always love going there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have met so many kind people and my class is full of the most down to earth, amazing and respectful people I have got to know. In just a month in a half it has made such a difference in my life. Ive got 2 of my friends who Ive recommended to join and they love it as much as I do. The staff are also friendly too especially Master Raymond, Sensei Gus and everyone else who are apart of the wonderful staff team. I cannot express how happy and confident I am as of now. VMA has truly changed my life and I am so thankful to be apart of the VMA family. It can truly make a positive change for anyone who is thinking about joining. With that being said, I highly suggest going to the first 3 classes in which are free because you will absolutely love it, to anyone who has read this thank you and I hope to see you come to VMA.

I have trained under Master Charles Raimond for ten years and he has help to mold me into the person I am today. The staff here is great with the children and teach a great cardio kickboxing class. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking to study martial arts.

Today was my first class in the adult MMA program. I love how the people where helpful to me when I didn’t know how to strike probably. Also I never gave up in the cardio kick boxing class when it got tough for me. I recommend this program for people who want to lose weight after a very long summer. Both of my kids have attended VMA West Islip for years. My son is a black belt and my daughter a brown.VMA has installed confidence in both of them. They have gained not only confidence but strength as well.
I just started to bring my daughter here about 2 1/2 months now and she loves it. I love it. She is determined and motivated and the staff is really great with the Children. My daughter Camryn looks forward to future training in the school as well as I do.

2022-01-06Coach John and the other instructors do a great job with the kids! John was helpful placing my son (he’s 5) in the right program so that he wasn’t overwhelmed doing something he wasn’t ready for. Took a couple BJJ classes and he wasn’t quite at that level yet so he is doing their striking program 3 days a week until he’s a little older and able to move into BJJ. The facility is clean, and has a nice waiting area for the parents to watch their children.

2021-11-30Both of my sons (ages 6 and 7) attend here and they cant wait for the sessions. Its amazing seeing them develop their self defenses skills and also self control. The instructors are excellent! They challenge them and push them to do better, but also dont accept any bad behavior. I highly recommend this school for any age or level.

2022-08-27We signed our son up who is very shy. They are instilling confidence in him to where he can now be outgoing. Also at the same time teaching him discipline and being able to defend himself at all times. Every one that works at victory is an amazing person in our opinion. Highly recommend to everyone 🤙🏾

2021-04-15My daughter started here about three months ago and loves coming to class. The instructors provide a safe, friendly and comfortable environment in the class while teaching the children valuable life lessons! But most importantly from watching the classes I see a bunch of smiling faces on each and every child which brings some normalcy back to our lives.

2021-09-23Our son loves Victory, we can’t get him out of the building. In a crazy anxious world Victory has taught our son a healthy lifestyle, self-confidence and respect. All the kids were so welcoming our son had no prior training and everyone excepted him. Instructors are excellent and talk to the kids about bullying and taking care of themselves in a healthier way. So worth it!!!

2021-09-24I just started my 8 year old son about 4 months ago and he loves training at Victory. There is a great variety of skill levels, ages for boys and girls to grow. I was impressed with how they are with the children. They really know what they’re doing and it shows. That is why I decided to invest in my sons training he will have for years to come. But don’t take just my experience. Come watch a class and see for yourself.

2021-09-23My daughter was having a hard time adjusting to the beginner class. They were so patient and kind and gave her some private session time to make her more comfortable. They allowed her friend who is in the advanced class to come to a beginner class with her to make her feel more comfortable. I love the way they speak to the children and their overall approach. I highly recommend this place.
