This is quite unique place. This is a real counter in the real gas station. Not a game, not a joke. All food is prepping on outside kitchen and waiting to be serve behind the counter. So, you shouldn’t expect smoke smell in the place, although is still exist.The place is operating by one persone - cook, waiter and counter clerk by one. So, expect slow service, but very unique experience and real good food. And ask a Brisket Ball Sandwich what is off the menu, cause this is a real blast.

HANDS DOWN MASTERPIECE OF A BRISKET. Melts in your mouth like butter. Rich flavor and savory like no other.We drove by on the way back from work and happened to wander into the best Southern cuisine place ever I’ve had. A hidden gem at a gas station.It’s the worth the 2 hour commute just to get here. The owner is a kind community man with a heart of gold! On top of that, I can’t rave about the food enough! We got brisket, Mac and cheese, fries, and corn bread.

This has to be some of the best southern bbq I’ve ever had. One bite and it reminds me of my grandparents who were sharecroppers from Alabama. This food is second to none. The place is clean. I sent my Mom to get food for us and she was overwhelmed and blown away.

I saw other positive reviews…. I was doubtful because I live in the area and didn’t know this place was inside. My wife and i Just went today…. Had brisket, ribs and Turkey wings. Every single item was fresh, tasty and the service was Great!! I was gonna be selfish and try and keep this place to myself but the owner deserves the recognition👍🏾

First time customer! Ordered: rib tips (1 lb) Mac & cheese, cornbread, and the banana pudding. I will most certainly be back because the food was authentic delicious barbecue! The owner is an extremely humble hardworking man! Hands down the quality of the meat was excellent. The sauce, cornbread *rule number one* and the banana pudding was out of this world! Keep it up! Today was a special day because I found Village BBQ. The brisket was great and the pork ribs were amazing! Randy really knows how to smoke meat! I had such a wonderful time talking BBQ while he prepared my order. Its so much fun to meet someone who gets excited about BBQ and taste the quality of the product he serves. Thanks Randy for a great experience.

My finance and ordered from here for the first time tonight. We have been looking for a good BBQ place for a while and we finally found one. The food melted in our mouths and the corn bread was amazing. We were so full by the time we were done. The food is very filling but so worth it. We cant wait to order again

Listen people within like 100 mile radius of this place must go or get delivery. I’m telling you everything I got was more than “On POINT” I’m not the type a guy to write a lot of reviews I have no relation or anything. I just came home to no dinner one night and grub hub search came up with Village BBQ I’m telling you people please give em a shot I was Impressed. Im going to order tonight and try add pics to this review.

Saw this place opened and decided to stop in and try it out. The man at the counter is very friendly, and gave me a piece of the brisket. I know brisket very well and different smoked foods, and let me tell you, once I took a bite out of the brisket. It melted in my mouth! It was flavorful, smoky, and full of spice. Best smoked meat out here in the island. Before I had to be out South to have good food, now it’s right here on the island! Keep it up. Delicious.

The reviews are REAL. 5 FIVE STAR BBQ here!!Hard to find, lacks sinage but DEFINITELY worth the hunt. We already know what were going to try next. Excellent service, Excellent menu. The place was bustling and orders were out the door ... well oiled machine!!
