These guys were a life saver! After hiring another plumber to fix an emergency situation with my boiler, I asked them to check the work that had been done. Although they said it was OK, they told me that other things the first plumber told me did not make sense. They also warned me that my boiler was on its last legs and recommended I get a new one plus a new return line. They told me exactly what had to be moved in my cluttered basement which I did quite promptly, I then scheduled the installation of the new boiler. It was a good thing I listened to them. The plumber who did the job said my old boiler just crumbled when he went to remove it. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all their mess. The plumber explained the workings of the new boiler and told me some things that I had to do for maintenance. While they were there, I asked them to check on my hot water tank and they told me that it was OK for the present but it could break at any time, due to its age. So I asked them to replace that also and they got both done in one day. Professional, polite, informative and just plain friendly. I highly recommend them.

My small leak below my tub going into my neighbors ceiling became a bigger job breaking through my floor and replacing my pedestal sink. They were very understanding and did quality work. The even helped me replace the cabinet and sink we put in because my quick decision turned out to be inadequate. They were very fair, clean work, honest, on time and Tim went beyond expectations helping me. I highly recommend them.

Made an appointment from the flyer I received in the mail for boiler yearly checkup. They sent Chris over. He did the maintenance work while being very condescending with the typical “he” knowing it all and I should not question anything. So, he found some additional work and quote me a price “village” will charge. I told him that I can’t afford that. After he finished his work he said “listen if you don’t want to pay “village” I can do the work for you for $500” whereas village was charging $2500 and give me his number (718) five eight one - four three .. I will never use that company again,!!

They should change there name to Village Crooks. I made the mistake of not looking at the Google reviews before I called them.My toilet needed a minor repair which I was charged $300 for. I only needed a gasket replaced.I also had a slow leak under my kitchen sink. The kid gave me a scare tactic horror story and told me all pipes including those in the basement had to be replaced. The cost would be $1700.I should have kicked the guys out of my house but the kid reminded me of the mandatory fee I had to pay so I turn down the repair for the kitchen sink.Went ahead and let them fix the toilet. I could have had a new toilet installed at the price they charged.Lesson learned. If you don’t want to get ripped off call anyone else.

My boiler shutdown the other day and I couldnt get heat in my house for nothing. I tried calling the guy who normally fixes the boiler but he was a no show sadly. Never answered the phone, or returned any of my messages.I then turned to Village plumbing from Google after internet searching other places first. Their rates was way to high, $200- $275 just to come here, no one wants to pay that or hear that type of price. Village plumbing was a bit more reasonable for their asking price so I went with them. They charge $175 just to come here. If you was wondering they all charge prices just to visit, trust me I did search around. After calling them they arrived twenty-five minutes after hanging up. They was friendly and introduced themselves. Andy & Alex the workers noticed problems right away and immediately started fixing and explaining what the issue was (I personally have zero experience with fixing boilers) Once I showed them the boiler they immediately pinpointed the problem like a math professor checking a student progress. To be honest my boiler is complicated since the one who initially installed it, did a few things backwards and many boiler professionals dont want to deal with it or laugh at the work. While Alex & Andy worked on the boiler they explained how it works, what they was doing, and how to upkeep a boiler. Which was awesome! The whole process took about forty minutes despite the complications. The issue was my gas valve (It causes to heat come up) completely broken since it was still the original piece and blew out after 23 years. They installed a new one and the boiler runs even stronger, the heat surges through the entire house within 7 minutes instead of 15-20 minutes. If you have issues with your boiler call up Village plumbing and ask for Andy & Alex. Their prices are a bit more reasonable than other competition around.

I had used them in an emergency situation with the boiler and they replaced a pipe a few months back. But in my opinion they overcharged. Next time I called them about a leaky gas pipe and they still wanted to do the entire system and the estimate was way over the roof. So I contacted another plumbing service and it was thousands of dollars less. Village plumbers are scammers.

Village Thieves. After using them for decades new owner has turned this into a fleecing scam. Do your due diligence and get a second opinion...better yet save your time and money and dont even bother with these scam artists. Previous work of 40+ years was excellent...then a recent install of a new $50 expansion tank somehow magically ended up being $1,000. Never again and good riddance.

On 12/02/19. Tim came to my house. Water was coming out of my radiators.Tim said i needed a return line.the price was $2600.He said it would take a full day to do.He sent his crew the next day.He said it would be 6 length of copper pipe. His crew was done in a Half of day.I called Tim at village plumbing & heating in Queens Village,ny. He told me returns lines are a standard price regardless of the time.I called several companies and there price was half.I found out from my neighbors Tim is the new owner and Marvin is retiring.Be careful Village plumbing has a reputation of over charging the elderly. I am very upset I was over charged a lot of money. So I checked Tims background with the better business beau. Before he came to village plumbing..he was in a family business and got thrown out of it..
