Vimbly is great, there is such a variety of activities and at all price levels. I went to a beginning parkour class for free! Great date ideas or just fun stuff all around the city. Booking was super easy, I like that you have to confirm through an email after you book it on the site. Definitely a legit site to use if youre looking for original and interesting activities and not just the same boring stuff!
Vimbly is a GREAT way to discover interesting new (and familiar) activities, classes, and events. I didnt even know I WANTED to do many of the things on the site, and was so thankful to see a wishlist feature so I could remember them later. I recently attended Drunk Shakespeare (highly recommended, by the way), and found booking the tickets for me and my 7 other friends to be incredibly easy.Vimbly has already become my go-to place for finding unique activities for out of town visitors as well as things for me to do on my own or with local friends.

I have used Vimbly a few times for some awesome events I would have never found otherwise. Its a great resource to find random date ideas. To give you a taste of some of the events, this was my review after a Comedy Club in the East Village on a random Sunday night: It was a couple spot that fit a good amount of people. The talent was really good, including someone from the Chapelle Show!
Vimbly was very accommodating. I definitely recommend finding new things to do through them. I had tried booking a class for my sister & I when unfortunately, someone else was booking at the same time and took one of the last seats available. Vimbly emailed & called me to book/reschedule a different class for the same day. This was very convenient as my sister was only home from college for only that day. The aerial hoop class at body & pole was amazing and lots of fun!
I was a bit skeptical about this website and their services frankly because I hadnt heard from them but it looked very interesting. I looked through the events and classes and given that they take Paypal I decided to take a chance on a fun but cheaper class they had. I figured worst case scenario Paypal would have my back or I would lose a small amount of money. I booked a soap making class for my wife (she loves crafting) and I through Vimbly as a small Christmas present. The booking process was easy and shortly after booking I received a confirmation email and instructions on where to go for the class and how to redeem. The class was really awesome, we had a great time, and discussing with the other people in the class we got a really good price, so overall we were really happy with the entire process. We had such a good experience with Vimbly that we have decided to take another class (a bit more expensive) and see how it goes. If they are in your city, I would suggest you give it a chance, they offer a lot of stuff to do, great ideas for date nights!

Vimbly is an excellent service that is easy to use with excellent customer service. Used it to book an excellent byob art class in Manhattan for a date. I realized I accidentally booked classes at two different locations, but texted the customer support people who confirm your purchases and she was able to correct within an hour of the class starting. It was so easy to use Vimbly to reserve the New York Sunset & Champagne cruise. And the Vimbly staff quickly answered my questions so we knew what to expect. The boat was a large comfortable space, with a great staff. Very relaxing way to see the skyline and Lady Liberty!
I found Vimbly when I searched for unique dates in NYC and so far it has definitely steered me right. Vimbly has a lot of great date ideas that have discounts, but are also just plain fun! So far I have also noticed it not only has ideas for dates, but for anything really, whether it is to do something different with your friends or your family. I like everything organized so in the end it is just really nice to have a place to go to to give you ideas on how to spend your weekend instead of the usual drinking and wasting money.
We went to Butterlane bakery for a cupcake class. My first experience with Vimbly allowed us to get a great price for a fantastic event. The class was fun, entertaining and well taught. The best part was the cupcakes we got to bring home!

I was wondering where to even begin for planning my boyfriends birthday (didnt want to get him another sweater). Vimbly was the perfect solution--I looked at the list of Things To Do In SF, filtered the activities I was looking for, and I picked the one I wanted. Its a one-stop site, so I could book it on Vimblys page right there. They do literally everything for you after you click that green button. Well, his birthday was a success!This was my third booking through Vimbly (1 NYC workout dance class, 1 NYC cupcake baking class, and now an SF sail). Took me a while to write a review! I now have a list of things I want to do via their bucket list...Basically, if youre also looking for the experiential gifts, the next adventure, wanting to learn or try something new, or just straight up bored... here you go. My boyfriend and I booked a free Cuban Salsa dancing class through Vimbly, and Im so glad we did! Vimbly is just an incredible resource. I found Vimbly through searching for Things to do in NYC. The website had a ton of activities for all budget ranges. My girlfriend wanted to try some kind of martial arts class so I booked a Krav Maga class which had a great gym and instructors. It appears that the courses/activities are well curated. We love to explore things to do in the city, and already have several other events/places weve got our eyes on thanks to Vimbly!
Great experience! Bought tickets for Trapped in a Room with a Zombie, with about 7 friends and even booked the wrong date and Vimbly helped me quickly correct the issue without my losing any money. At the event, the facilitators were skilled and I loved being able to work with new people! We got out of the room with about 31 seconds left to spare! haha It was so much fun! Vimbly is an excellent platform. When I booked my event, they not only let me know when it was confirmed, but also called me when there was a complication with the venue. Used Vimbly to book a day trip called Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge Tour out of Portland and had a great time. Mae was an excellent guide who provided a wonderful local touch on a coach tour. And with a bit of time to wander out, it was just gorgeous. I have attended a three walking tours in NYC promoted by Vimbly and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Although I have lived in NYC for over 25 years, I learned something new on each tour.I would recommend Vimbly and Tours By Foot to everyone, including friends and family.
Had a great booking experience with the company. The listing was comprehensive and had some fun ideas, it was easy to book online. They further got me a discount on the listed price and passed that to me by letting me know via email. My scheduled changed and needed to change the date of the event I choose and I was able to call the toll free number and they worked with the vendor to switch the dates. It was refreshing to talk to a live person on the phone, when needed. I would gladly buy from them again.

First time buying tickets from vimbly. I mean there is not much to say beside the fact that the instructions are straight forward. Once you buy the ticket, you dont need to print out the tickets, just have your phone out with your receipt and you will be right in. The direction to go to the broadway comedy club it was easy to get to. No complaint and I wish I get commission for writing this review. #go Vimbly
I had so much fun on the hike an wolf sanctuary, although the hike was def not beginner. id say it was more intermediate but i had a lot of fun, esp eating the wild berries our guide told us we can eat. ive never foraged for edible berries and leaves in the woods, it was great!

Booked tickets to see Drunk Shakespeare for my wifes birthday.This was our second time at the show, and weve loved it both times. The space is intimate, and the actors are great and very interactive with the crowd. The show is both hilarious and extremely impressive (these guys know their Shakespeare, even with a solid serving of the sauce).I would definitely book again, and probably will!
This past Saturday a friend and i decided to enjoy the great weather and went on the West Village FREE food tour.The tour turned out to be a delightful 2 hour event filled with interesting historical facts and delicious foods!The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting, before every food spot she would explain a bit about nearby area and then ask who would like a sample of the food. You may buy (1$) as many or as little samples as you like... its the best deal around!We sampled 2 pizzas, mini bagels, chocolates, Italian rice balls and falafal!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I have taken two tours with Vimbly and am looking forward to many more in the future! They have a wide variety of opportunities, many of which I would never have thought of doing. Both tours that I attended were well organized, interesting, and fun. I look to Vimbly for ideas and activities when I want to find something fun to do.
They dont refund or even reschedule if you miss the boat even if you book numerous tickets. No compassion and harassment of emails. Steer clear of using this service to book.
I was nervous when I booked through Google and it sent me to a Vimbly page. That is probably why I booked the activity for the wrong day! After a panic call to the tour company, I was told I had to contact Vimbly. The next day a friendly email came and I replied with my issue. I received an even more friendly email telling me the problem could be fixed and not to worry! Customer service is so important in todays Internet age! Thanks!
Vimbly was an easy way to get connected to an amazing photography class (Digital Photography for Beginners/The Art of Intuitive Photography). It was exciting, fun, and I learned a ton in a few short hours. I will definitely be signing up for more classes!
I booked an event through Vimbly because it was suggested in the google widget for the events location. I was told it had been cancelled and my card was not charged but I was charged $120. I called the company of the event and they said they had never heard of Vimbly and do not get the information Vimbly collects, meaning the booking is not real. At best you are being mislead at worst it is a complete scam. They should be arrested this is theft.
I recently took a trip to New York and wanted to be a little free-spirited and try some new things. Well that can be very overwhelming just searching the internet for things to do. Once I found Vimbly I was really impressed with the variety of activities they listed. I didnt need to search anywhere else because they had everything I wanted to try and even things I had never thought about. From dance classes, NYC tours, improv classes, even classes on how to do a handstand. It was really fun to search through the options and when I travel to any city that has Vimbly I wont need to use any other website. It was so easy, fun, and perfect for my budget.

Using Vimbly, I scheduled a Rifle Class at the Westside Rifle & Pistol Range. The class itself was AWESOME! The instructor was amazing, very detailed and kept his cool which made everyone else feel confident. The experience was nice. We learned how to use a rifle, including how to load bullets into the magazines. 50 rounds of bullets. Great date!

Very good! Used Vimbly to set up a Sushi Cooking class at Soy NYC. The place is cozy, but it only feels tight in the kitchen and youre only in there for a few minutes, so its not bad. Just embrace it! After the kitchen you come back out to the counter area and have all the space you need. I thought I was going to leave hungry, but I was Titi ally wrong! There was more than enough food for my wife and I. Such a great place with a family vibe. Ask questions! I asked a ton and all were answered completely. I would definetly do it again
We had a GREAT time on the Accomplice NY adventure. Met some great people, did a lot of walking., and saw some different areas of NYC. It was an adventure, and we had to think. I would recommend it everyone. Good to do with a couple friends too.

We booked a Greenwich Village Ghost Tour through Vimbly and weve gotta say: WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME! This was our first tour with the company and definitely not our last! Megan was so well-spoken, personable, and so charismatic that it made it feel like we were more among friends than on a tour! What we also loved was how she kept mentioning this was a free tour and didnt make you feel like you absolutely HAD to pay.Looking forward to many other tours through Vimbly!
My experience booking the event, the event itself and my communication with Vimbly was great. However, Vimblys communication with the event site needs improvement. The event site charged my credit card at the end of the event stating that Vimbly doesnt pay them directly and so the credit card info I gave to Vimbly to book the event was only used as a reservation hold. I didnt think this was the case, but I didnt argue, I paid them and then the next day, I investigated and found that my credit card had indeed been charged by Vimbly back when I initially booked the event. I immediately contacted the event site, and they refunded the charge (and gave me no headaches about doing so, which I appreciated). Nevertheless, it was an unnecessary annoyance to have to do all this extra post-event footwork when the event site and Vimbly should have had their payment transaction process sorted out long before the event date.
After browsing through Vimblys activities, I booked an activity called Hike and Howl for my friend and me. The booking was easy and efficient, I received a proper number of e-mails with receipts and conformations and reminders. The activity was really cool and fun. After I got back, I got back on Vimblys site to check out some more activities and will continue to do so when I have guests from out of town whom I want to entertain in a unique and fun way.
Great experience and the doctors assistant was awesome! Loved that she was taking such thorough notes throughout the session. Both the doctor and the assistant were fantastic. We just barely made it out of the room! Was pretty scared of what to expect and had a great time! Loved working with two other groups as well- we had a terrific team :)
Used Vimbly 3 times now: booked a Knife Skills class at Institute of Culinary Education, booked tickets to Improvised Shakespeare (HOW DID THEY EVEN GET ACCESS TO THESE???), and booked tickets to an Improv show at the Upright Citizens Brigade.Really simple and efficient way to find something to do an book it right away without ever having to pick up a phone.I like that you can search by date and also category.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour yesterday in the Lower East Side with our guide, Dante Salerno! Weve recently moved to NY and cant think of a better way to explore this great city than to sample the food of these unique neighborhoods while getting a history lesson, as well. When friends and relatives come to visit well definitely recommend these tours. Cant wait to sign up for our next tour!
I went for the wood carving class at queens! the teacher, George was great! He is very friendly and helpful! He called me the day before and told me to come 15 min early so that I could ask questions! I quiet amazed at how much I could accomplish in a 2 hour beginner class! recommend this class for the curious (like me)!

The host (Im forgetting her name but she was petite and blonde) was fantastic! A lot of fun, and gave just enough hints to make the game even more exciting. And lots of props to our zombie who was both terrifying, comical, and knew how to interact well with the whole group. Absolutely recommend this room!! Hope you get the same host and zombie, too!

Had a fabulous time! This was our first time to take a Segway tour. We had been very nervous to do it before. Fat Tire had great instructors and a wonderful guide who really put our safety first, but gave an interesting tour of NOLA and the French Quarter. Segway is the way to go, especially if you are trying to see a lot in a short period of time. We will never hesitate to do a Segway tour again. After ten minutes of training, we felt very comfortable and safe on the Segway. It is so much fun!

I dont go out much, mostly because I dont know where all the great stuff happen. Its also hard to plan when you dont know about a lot of the activities that goes on around. With vimbly, i was able to learn about all the great activities around the city and plan awesome dates night that my boyfriend end up enjoying. Took a Vino-Versity class through Vimbly with a few friends. Vino-Versity was very accommodating and had a great wine selection. Our cheese instructor was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. Great for a date or a fun activity with friends.

Vimbly itself was good to use. Very fast communication.Only hiccup was the activity I picked had recently( I guess?) changed their prices. Vimbly let me know asap, and asked if I wanted a refund or to go ahead with the new price.Hopefully the page is updated to prevent others from running into this (minor) issue. But still a positive experience.

Vimbly is awesome. Thats my intro and it says it all. If you are into speaking to people who are patient, thorough, and knowledgable, then Vimbly should be your go-to. I spoke to Michael a handful of times, and he was considerate during all of them as he answered my questions (thanks, Michael). Not only did I get my questions answered, but I also received recommendations on other activities to check out while in NY (and I took advantage of a couple of them; no regrets). I had an amazing time doing the wolf sanctuary hike. I definitely recommend vimbly if youre trying to do something adventurous and unique. If you want to impress someone on a date or just do something exciting with some friends-- I highly recommend vimbly.
Twilight sail - Was something cool and unique to do with my husband. Boat was bigger than i anticipated so fit about 50 people who joined. But the ride was great, smooth, peaceful. We picnicd before the sail as they dont serve food on the boat just drinks. Isnt something I need to do again but def a cool unique new yorky thing to experience and do. Watched the sunset around lower manhattan which is never not beautiful. This is an activity that would be fun to do in a big group.
Great way to try new stuff, whether in your city for a date night or in another city w a friend you havent seen in a while. I have booked a tango class after work as a date night w my husband who freaked when he found out what we were doing but ended up having an amazing time and a twerk class in DC when I went to see my girlfriend, it was an amazing work out and really fun class to work on your twerk. A Vimbly representative applied to my self-defense school as someone with legitimate interest. His message stated he would like to take a trial class and receive pricing information. After wasting time finally getting in touch with him he tries to pitch me on his free advertising. I spend a lot of time calling people and setting up trials everyday, for someone to waste my time like this is very frustrating. Now he wont stop sending me emails to try and get me to sign up for their free advertising.Should have just said hey this is ... from Vimbly Id like to waste a moment of your time. Honesty goes much further than poor business practices.

Trapped in a Room with a Zombie was an awesome experience! SO MUCH FUN!! I brought my mom and boyfriend and we had a blast.. the zombie is not too scary and finding your way out of the room is tricky.

On April 16th, I attended an Intro to Photoshop lesson moderated by Simon Hammer of Balanced Exposure in Shaumburg, Il. It was the three hour lesson covering some basic actions in PS. Instead of trying to cover too much, Mr Hammer made sure that I had a through understanding of what we were doing, much better than throwing a lot at me and hoping some would stick, I just wish that I would have taken some more notes. A very enjoyable three hours. I have signed up for a field trip in June to Brookfield zoo in June and will be signing up for future classes
Our Soho wine tour was excellent! The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it to friends!
I love that I am able to get last minute classes from a huge array of areas in NYC. The payment is quick so I can choose one after work. I love the rewards offered and options to save classes for later.
Loved the cooking class. Jennifer was down-to-Earth and very knowledgeable. As a beginner, I left having learned quite a bit. Highly recommend.
Mindy was able to take complicated concepts and simplify them for us. She answered all our questions no matter how simple they were. I really appreciated her patience, positive attitude and passion during the class.

I did the Prohibition Escape game and it was so much fun! The sound effects, decore, and experience was amazing. Highly recommend Vimbly for its unique ideas!
Highlight of our trip to NYC!Damian was an exceptional guide - knowledgable and very personable. We learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves doing it.
The Fresh Mozerella and Burrata class with Caroline was entertaining, educational, and fun! Got to meet a great group of people and make great food!

2021-12-20I use vimbly to search for fun things to do in Chicago all the time. Most recently bought tickets to Drunken Shakespeare and LOVED it. Vimbly is a great resource and I highly recommend folks use it when they are not sure what to get into.

2021-07-10Horrible. No one gets back to you. You leave voicemails and emails. No one picks up the phone. I placed an order for the painting lounge got an order# then was told that it was booked up by a text. I redid my order got another order# then another text msg that said the same thing but later received an email with a confirmation#. Huh? Do I have a slot or not, was I charged twice or not? I then called the location with the confirmation they didnt have me listed. Then I was told they canceled class for that location they moved all the people to another location and closed for the evening. So when was someone going to tell me that? So I ended up booking directly with painting lounge. They even asked me how did Vimbly get involved? I told them when we click buy tickets they come up as the server to pay under. I thought I was paying painting lounge but sadly no. So just call directly to schedule classes.********************UPDATE******************I was in touch with my bank and my card was charged twice in the amount of 2 transactions of $100 each. The day of the transactions they went on as authorization holds that were pending. My bank advised that I call back to see if these transactions went through and they did. They have a pending date of July 15, 2021. At which time if these charges are not reimbursed to my account I will proceed with a dispute for the amount of $200.

2021-07-09We had some friends in from out of town - their first visit to NYC and we took them on the pizza & beer tour . Not certain who had more fun and we have lived in NYC our entire lives ! Our guide , Jonathan , was a blast . Knowledgeable and very adept at getting three distinct groups of people to interact . Would definitely recommend to locals and visitors !!!

2020-10-23Review from our Sep 26, 2020 city lights cruise:The crew was fantastic! The drink prices were a little high. We were a *little* off put by three rather loud women who kind of dug into the peaceful vibe we were going for, though everyone has their reason for wanting to sail, right. I would love to take a longer cruise on this boat some time and maybe help the crew for the experience. Being on the water is heaven for me.

2019-06-21I used Vimbly to book my first zumba class atThe Energy Club. It was super easy and once it was booked everything flowed from that moment...from confirmation to reminders. They were with me every step of the way. Kind of like a digital personal assistant. Im so glad that I clicked on their ad. I will definitely use them for future activities. I would like to add that when I told one of the employees about Vimbly, they immediately started searching for things to do in the area.

2018-12-20I used Vimbly for the first time when my friend came into town to visit. We booked the Chelsea Market / Meatpacking Food Tour / Foods of New York Tours and it was super easy to find a great tour on the website. They also kept me updated via text and email so I felt super confident about my reservations and all the info they gave me. I bookmarked Vimbly so I can use in the future. Super easy, user friendly A++++++++++!!!
