Vincenzos in other cities:
Ive been buying food here for years and I have always been very happy. The prices are decent and the food is beyond amazing. Even a plain pizza tastes delicious. Their tiramisu is amazing and Im very happy with their quick delivery times. 100 percent recommend. Delicious salads too :)
Wish I could give it zero stars. Staff was disorganized, said our pizza would be done in twenty minutes. We arrive on time and are told to wait another half hour because our wings were forgotten about. A half hour passes by, we receive them...only to take them home and find out that they smelled and werent sauced properly. Not only that, but the dozen wings we thought were $7.50 turned out to be $12. When we asked why our bill was higher than expected, the $7.50 price tag online turned out to be wrong. When corrected, even the employees couldnt find their own pricing. Very bad experience and misled customers with false pricing:/
My husband and I ordered two pizzas for our wedding party two&1/2 months ago, I had several pieces left over so in the freezer they went ! I just pulled the leftovers out for lunch and they were as delicious as they were on July 2nd !!! Fantastic job you guys, BRAVO ! I WILL order any of their pizzas, especially the Frank Sinatra 😍😍😍😍😍 Sincerely, Richard and Terri Bywater ! Elmira, NY
Was there doing work today and they made the crew a large half cheese and half garlic pizza. The cheese side was perfect and the garlic side was out of this world! Good food, good people! Also got the inside hint on the garlic pizza and it is definitely authentic!!!! I work out of Rochester, Ny but next time Im in Elmira this is where Im stopping for my pizza.
The best pizza on the East coast. My wife and I travel all over the world and have tried different pizza at every stop. When it comes to the best pizza we both still believe that Vincenzos is near the top of the list. Its definitely the best one weve found on the East coast of the US and yes weve been all over NY state many times. You will not be disappointed!
I looked the menu up online chicken wings 7.49 garlic knots were 3 and some change and cannoli was 3 and some change. I go to pick up my order wings are 11 and something garlic knots price was wrong also the garlic knots were dried out like they were left over from lunch wings were not even heat hot I think someone better update there web page cause its false advertising
Im from upstate tried it for the first time it was flavorful and perfectly cooked the price was fair. I believe it is a hearth baked pizza (not on trays or institutional). Read some reviews and you shouldnt be taken in by negativity, if price is your concern or the timing of product to your belly dont bother. Or go pick it up. Things that are good cost money and take time! Vincenzos keep up the good work and remember When Im right no one remembers-when Im wrong no one forgets Cheers.
Heard great things about this restaurant went and tried their highly talked about garlic parmesan chicken wings and pizza. Giving 4 stars mainly because the wings were amazing but the pizza really didnt have a wow factor to it and barely had cheese on it. I plan to give them another try soon .
I don’t think I have ever had worse pizza. Ordering chicken wing pizza and having the cheese and chicken fall right off the slice is embarrassing. I don’t want to have to pick up the cheese and toppings and put it back on the pizza. Not to mention the hair that was on it. Took an hour and abt 40 min to have it delivered to experience the worst pizza in my life. Next time should stick to the frozen pizzas from the store.
The Hill Top Restaurant is the best of the best. Drinks, main meal, seafood, desserts and view were all top notch. The wait staff provided excellent customer service. The owner checked on our table (we were having so much fun) and talked us in to trying the desserts. He arranged a sample (full size portions) of the desserts. The bread pudding was voted by our table the best, then the lemon dessert yet all were totally amazing and delicious. The restaurant was packed and we were still provided the best service. We will return to Elmira and visit this restaurant again!!
Original pizza, good customer services, clean environment but they do have a sign on the front window that says We sell Jones Soda but dont actually carry it anymore would be the only complaint I could make. Other than that, its q great place to grab a slice with your significant, friends/co-workers or even family.
For 2nd time I got unsweetened ice tea instead of raspberry tea as I clearly ordered. 3rd time burger wasnt made as asked..no mayo and very little lettuce. Then the dark hard fries...change your oil!! Mozzarella sticks...dry and dark....change your oil!! No more from this place!! Lousy food!!
They charged me 47$ and some change for 1 cheese pizza , a plain calzone and 2 drinks . According to the pricing online it should have been 16$ for the pizza 7$ for the calzone . I dont know how the 2 drinks skyrocketed the price up to around 47$ . I would avoid this place at all costs .
Used to think Vincenzos had standards but after ordering a Sicilian pizza Ive changed my mind. The pizza was burnt on the edges and doughy under the cheese. They tried to cover up burnt spots with cheese and it was obvious. I gave them 1 star because zero wasnt an option.
Not sure what has happen. This use to be amazing with great service. Vinnie Dom and Shawn have always been a pleasure..but the staff they have going on Sunday night got time off for delivery by30 mins..cold pizza and sliced wrong. Disappointed but i will be back because I like the food when prepaired right.
I wouldnt say its my favorite pizza joint in the area, but its the only local pizza place I know of in Elmira. The garlic knots are sub-par, and the slices were okay. Not awesome for the price, so I think Ill only get pizza from Corning if I want the good ol mom and pop pizza I was craving.
Tonight we ordered a pizza delivery from Vincenzios. The price for a small Leonardo DiVinci pizza was $16 on line. When I called the price was $23.54. I asked about the online price and I was told that that price was incorrect and they couldnt change it. So I said OK. Id like a thin crust - is that available? and I was told it was. So I continued with my order. It arrived, and I gave the driver $25.00 before I realized it was a THICK crust pizza, not thin crust as ordered. My first question is: if your prices have changed, why cant you change them on line. Secondly, when I order a THIN crust pizza, why cant you fulfill that request. This is the last time well order from Vincenzios - for either pick up or delivery.
I was amazed that I noticed the cashier put my daughters pizza in the oven after she had no gloves.I then stood back and watched after she explained the germs burn off. I then watched out back because I was waiting on a sub. The girl in the back cutting tomatoes was not wearing gloves and the pizza maker was not wearing gloves. She looked amazed I said does anyone here use gloves. I had seen the pizza made without them and told her she put food in oven without them and I saw she put the hot pizza in the bag using her sleeve. I mentioned food prep being done with raw hands. I have worked in food many years and noticed many code violations and if I was a inspector they would have been shut down.Price was high and cashier was rude. The staff was gross and would never eat their again.
Me and my girlfriend order from here today, I got a meatball sub, had had a grand total of 3 and a half meatball...one whole meatball two cut in half and another half...if not for the cheese, sause, lettuce and onions I got on it, it would have been nearly nothing but bread...my girlfriend got a buffalo chicken calzone with blue ranch on the side, they gave her marinara sauce on the side and put the blue cheese on it, and the chicken was tasteless, nothing but frozen, chopped up chicken with hot sauce poured on it. All together we paid $20 for nothing.
Ordered 2 pizzas tonight, One Medium, and one small. Both pizzas were the exact same size. The pizzas were ok if they were out of the freezer and heated at home in the oven, but these were nothing to write home to mom about. I was very suprised to be honest. For an italian restaurant I would have expected a lot better. Then comes the bill $36.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG i figured it would have caviar on it for that price. This place is a joke and should not be in business!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EAT AT THIS DUMP AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If youre used to Pizza Hut Papa Johns and Pudgies this place is not for you this is a real family Homestyle Pizzeria each customer is treated as if they were there only customer all orders are prepared precisely the way you ordered and if there are any mistakes they correct them immediately I have lived in several cities up and down the East Coast when I come to Elmira I do not go anywhere but Vincenzos
Very Unsanitary And disappointed I travel all the way from Newport News v.a in was well over due for a rest so my location let me know that pizza store was 11 mins way so here Iam now standing behind a women n child the lady order her pizza than Proceeded To pay the cashier took her card swiped her card rip her receipt In pass her card back than turn to open pizza grabed her pizza with bare hands in threw it in the oven I was disgusted so I had to see if she would do the same with cash in indeed she did touched grab in toss in the oven as I started to look around I saw a worker on the side making a pizza with bare hands in even took a order over the phone hung up in got back to the pizza all this bare hands in food in electronic dont mixed dirty money n cards is a health issues you are wat you eat in this place being so exposed to human to human cintact can be dangerous to many people who suffer from health issues also I’m pest control sever mice dropping was right under the pizza in mice pee when they run

2021-10-03We were passing through Elmira on a road trip and stopped to grab Subway. We saw Vincenzos beside Subway and a guy walking out with a sub so we decided to stop in there instead. Best decision ever! We had an Italian and a tuna sub. We didn’t know they were coming with fries so that was an awesome surprise. The subs were so delicious! The bread was warm and crispy and was my favorite part but the tuna I had was also so good. 10/10 would go here again if I ever find myself in that town again!

2022-03-15This is probably the best Pizza in Elmira, if you get a fresh whole pizza. The individual slices arent always the best especially if theyve been sitting out for hours, even after reheating. But if you get a made to order pizza its always on point.

2022-03-25Wow a dinner order for 2 adults and 1 child was $55. We have never paid that much for pizza and wings. The pepp pizza arrived cold and the wings werent that great. Definitely not a place for us. Way to expensive.

2022-06-09This Is one of the only OG pizza places left. Yall, even when someone ran their car into the front of it, it didnt stop their fantastic service. Vincenzos is to Elmira, as waffle House is to the south.Unbeatable.

2022-04-14So just had lunch there today again I find I eat lunch here every time I find myself in Elmira. They have pizza by the slice and they usually have really great combinations. I held myself just to one slice but I often give in and have two!! Because of the slices being large I overeat and Im unhappy with myself, and feel like a stuffed Thanksgiving turkey! Im starting to try controlling the portions that I eat, to be moderate and not overdoing it anymore. I was proud of myself that I managed to limit myself and actually felt comfortably full after one slice! Thanks vincenzos youre always there for me when Im Jonesing for a slice!!

2022-02-01Vincenzos is hands down one of the best Italian pizza places in the Elmira area. Decent prices and variety yes, but the main thing is their quality. Absolutely delicious every time Ive gone. Not to mention the cannolis and tiramisu available there, sooo good. My favorite is the Dinero pizza, but I love trying out whatever specialty slices they have on hand for a quick bite.

2018-04-30I almost feel bad leaving such a poor review but I feel even worse about the pizza I just received. Almost no cheese and no flavor. Just look at the picture- not appetizing at all. Truly, this is possibly the worst pizza Ive ever tasted. Its not as though it is cheap either, as I paid $25 with tip for a large cheese(less?) pizza.

2021-08-14The pizza here is good. Its hard to find NY style pizza in Elmira so Im glad to have found Vincenzos. Theyre cheesecake is also amazing! Prices are fair and they deliver. If you want real pizza (not chain restaurant pizza) definitely check out Vincenzos.
