Been coming here for the past ten years until I showed up at 4:32 and was told I couldnt enter the yard because they dont let people in past 4:30. I understand 15 minutes late but two minutes walking in with a couple screwdrivers. Smh if the boss isnt there the staff could care less
Dishonest staff ( not all of them) and definitely arrogant and rude owner with no clue about business and customer relations. Bought few parts. Tried to return them because the motor and transmission was bad but lost the receipt. Staff however made me return the items without a refund until I find the receipt which was only fair. Later found the receipt and now the owner wont issue the refund or give store credit needles to mention i travel nearly 2hrs to buy parts on a regular basis. This is a customer they are familier with and this is how they treated me?!. Daytime robbery. Stay away if you can because hell do anything to not issue a refund.
They have lots of vehicles especially the ones Im looking for Love going there saves me hundreds of dollars they have other vehicles that other yards dont
Lacking on customer service the operator for the loader was rude and a little demeaning. Tried to ask a question he was unable to help as per their policies but being rude and belittling the customers should be highly frowned upon. My parts were all the way in the back of the lot and took me 4 trips with wheelbarrow to get. Other then that the lots were nicely spaced plenty of vehicles to choose from the maps could use a little help but I found what I needed and the prices were reasonable.
My bank account appreciates the prices . The staff have positive attitudes. In my opinion that alone determines whether I come back or find another place to get my used auto parts.
They say they close at 5 yet 435 they dont let you in.

First time at Vinces. Prices are 1/2 of others.They do invitory search and give you map of location in yard for what you are looking for. Bring your own tools and they provide wheelbarrow for heavy items.It seems a very orderly yard. I called first because its a two hour drive for me but.. they had what I needed and the prices are great. If your a do it yourselfer, and fix your own shift , you wont be dissapointed. Mask and social distancing for safety are inforced.. I love N.Y. lol

The condition of the driveway between the road and the property and the condition of the roads in between the vehicles in the yard leave a lot to be desired. Other than that, they have a lot of vehicles and theyre all up off the ground relatively easy access like any other u pull establishments. I did notice they are a bit pricier than other places like it, but not by an exorbitant amount.
Well stocked yard, usually have what Im looking for. Will be back again.
The best place for used car parts in the 315! Bring your own tools, wear closed-toe shoes/boots. No one under 18 allowed in the yard. Pull your own parts. Theyll cross-reference the part you need and give you a printout of the makes/models/years that have the same part. Costs a dollar to get in. Free parking. Tell Vinny I sent you!
Went there to get a rear-end for my Astro van and the only one they had was in the crushing pile. I went inside and asked a older gentleman if they could take it out of the pile and he said no at first . Then I told him I had driven 65 miles to get it and that was the only one they had. He then got on the radio and had them take it out of pile and block it up so I could pull rear-end out of it .I found out later it was the owner I talked to. I thanked for helping me out and thats why I drive down there from Watertown cause of the great customer service and prices !!!! Thanks again !!!!!

To help out with my husbands business, i bring probably 3-5 incomplete junk cars here per week. While they definitely dont pay out as well as other yards in the area, their hours are convenient. Open 7 days a week and stay open later than the competition. So, when we have to get vehicles out of the way and higher paying yards arent open its great to have the option.
Always liked going to Vinces but prices are getting up there and what Country are we in if you buy American and try to keep Americans working then plan on hiking a ways past all the imports to get your parts lord knows I need the exercise but its just the point guys getting parts around me said the same thing but if you drive imports your good right by the door going to give Rubicon a try next time not sure if there better or not but ill give them a try
Take it for what it is, its a luck based place. You may find leather seats for cheap, you may find nothing at all useful. Great for trim pieces, and dealer items. it can be hard to get certain things off the car and isnt always worth the trouble. Staff is decent, they leave you alone
Our experience to purchase an engine was excellent. The people were VERY NICE and VERY HELPFUL! Most of the cars are still intact and the people even helped us carry our engine to our car. The engine worked great btw. Our experience with Youpullit in Syracuse was horrible! They were rude, the place is nasty, lines of people getting parts for their ebay sales and dirty as can be. Vinces was way better! We will always come to this place from now on!
Dont bother,extremely rude employees especially the girl that works their (needs to be fired), yard is picked almost clean and they cant tell you if they even have what your looking for. save yourself the aggravation and go to u-pull on myers rd in east syracuse. they have an part interchange database and can tell you exactly where in the yard the car you need is located. also their customer service is excellent.
Great place to get parts amazing mapped out diagrams so you no right where to go.
The girl working there Is extremely rude and Unprofessional do not bring vehicles here they treat you like garbage and hardly pay anything. Definitely the worst in the area if I could give a -0. I would they dont even deserve 1 star , absolutely the worst in prices and customer service . Beware of this place!
Yard is very big and nicely organized. Didn’t find the parts I was was looking for but they do have a lot of vehicles. Only negative is they have a lot of vehicles that are burned to the ground and are useless.

Prices are good if you want to do the work to pull them. 30 days the most time a junk pile stays there .(or shorter ) ...then its crushed.
Decent place and prices are good for some items only problem is when you try returning items, they will try to haggle you can say that its not the same part

Ive been going there for years but they have gotten so unorganized that even the staff dont know where anything is anymore. I ended up going to Rubicon and that is now my go to place for used parts.
Vince is a ride person. They treat the help poorly. Yard is not organized at all.They treat everyone as a thief.
They charged me to look at the battery they are selling in there building not even going outside...scam people... bought the battery and its taller...they didnt have smaller...for $36 its repoff

THIS PLACE SUCKS. BOUGHT AN ENGINE DID NOT RUN LEFT MY OLD ONE THERE FOR CORE, TOOK BACK JUNK ENGINE JUST SO THEY COULD SEE PAINT MARK. TOLD ME T.O TAKE MOTOR BACK WITH ME AND TRY TO SELL IT AT ANOTHER JUNK YARD. WOULD NOT REFUND MY CORE. I DROVE 2 HRS TO GET THERE. WTF. THE STAFF ARE NOT FRIENDLY. THE GIRL SUNDAY THAT WAS WORKING WAS MAD CAUSE I GOT HER EATING BREAKFAST, I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. THE PARTS ARE CHEAP BUT NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. GO TO YOUR LOCAL JUNK YARD

Sucks dont waste your time i tried to bring my 15 yo kid to help me with getting a car part that needs two people they said that my son could not go in the yard so he had to wait in the parking lot for 1 hour and 30 minutes because the job needed two people and dont get me started on how expensive things are

2022-04-06I was recommended by a friend to look for parts for my Subaru. They surprisingly had one on the lot that was my model. Very clean and well kept lot and everything is easily accessible.

2020-12-28Not possible to check inventory online, like in most other, advertised as lowest prices, but its not, for example seat belts cost three times more than most other u pull... Staff in the office are lazy when boss is not around and act like hate that place and dont want to be there;) ...

2018-03-30Good point is cars are on stands. They will do fitment /interchange research and even tell you where to find the models you need, but this system is only a guide. You still gotta find vehicle and pull the part. Torches are not slowed in yard and they will not cut anything for you, even if you offer money for them to. If your selling scrap cars they are near average on pricing there.

2021-10-22Horrible staff ridiculous prices for junk. They won’t give you much for your vehicle either. You can have very expensive parts in good to fair condition totaling more than the car it’s self they will try to give you 500. Facebook garage sale is better in my opinion.
