I used to love this place , sadly it’s taken a drastic downhill regression in recent months. Lights turned off, very dark feeling and not as friendly. Orders not ready on time and staff acts like it’s no big deal. Some of us work and rely on timely pick ups. Really Very poor customer service and pricing is over inflated on pet medication Go try the other dispensaries in the capital region on New York. You’ll be treated with more respect and value for your money.

I am impressed by the care & concern shown to me by the entire staff at the Albany Vireo Health location. Their attention to detail and their kindness are second to none. The most professional dispensary I have encountered out of three I have gone to. Also the products are cutting edge.Yesterday 9/28/20Good Morning,Yesterday I went to the Albany facility and exchanged 2 defective items for 2 new replacement items.I cant thank the entire staff enough for being there for me during this trying episode. Their care and concern for me was apparent and warming. They listened to my voice regarding my predicament and responded with compassion. I appreciate how they treated the situation as they showed that it is not about the money but about the patients care and well being. This experience speaks volumes to me as to why Vireo Health of Albany is there. To help those in need of medical attention and properly address situations that arise with compassion. I got there early and I was greeted by the person inside. I showed her my ID she came to the front gave me a form filled it out. She came out shortly there after he told me that my pharmacist will be with me shortly. I waited about five minutes my pharmacist call me my prescription was ready in 10 minutes I think I was there less than a half an hour please guys are awesomeI can tell you that after using my medication I am feeling a lot better already.

Just moved to the area and was able to quickly get registered with a dispensary closer to our new home. Pharmacist was very informative in helping me navigate to a different product line that is more full spectrum for my particular condition, educating me on a new way to dispense medication and to keep it working longer in my body. Their hours are very convenient and the staff is cheerful and kind, which all around makes the necessity of exploring alternative means of wellness pleasant and even something to look forward to.
I am very happy with the Albany store on Fuller road. The girls there are extremely helpful,very friendly and nice. I only wish they could mail out the products. It is very inconvenient for me to come down there. It takes me 1 hour to get there and in winter its even worse for me. Not a fan of winter driving. Sometimes I run out before I can get there. Especially when I was sick 3 weeks with COVID 19. SO NOT HAVING MY THC OIL, MEANT I WAS IN PAIN AND NOT SLEEPING. I dont understand why this company can deliver down state but not in Albany area. Please Coporate think about it.
First time there today. So far, so good. Staff is helpful and courteous and the pharmacist seemed very knowledgeable about my condition (MS) and the products best suited for me. He listened to me and offered advice on other courses of action if my method of delivery needs to be tweaked. Overall I had a pleasant, easy experience here.
The staff members are very knowledgeable and friendly. Jen took me in at the end of the day on a walk in and helped me with all of my questions and got me taken care of that day. My only gripes are the hours as they are only open 3 days a week, and the prices are very high in my opinion. But the quality of the product is spot on and the friendly staff will make you feel welcomed and helped.
The customer service here is just amazing. As a new customer, I was very nervous.not only did they answer all of my questions, but they were patient and they showed me how to use different items. Overall, a very knowledgeable and kind staff.
I love this dispensary, the workers are always so friendly and always answer all of my questions. Theyve helped me find the right option to help me. The intake process for a new patient is fairly easy and straightforward if you have you needed documents. I submitted everything online and had a phone follow up with the pharmacist. The dispensary is clean and staffed with friendly people who are very knowledgeable. The prices are good and they offer a variety of products. It can be tricky to find so make sure to slow down and take your time. Hopefully they start delivering to my area.
I am a new patient if Vireo and I have been so happy with the results after beginning my treatment. Vireo is staffed with kind courteous and compassionate staff willing to answer all of your questions and to make this as easy for you as possible. Clean and welcoming .
First time visit on Sunday. Staff was very friendly, took a bit of time because as a new patient with them they must verify your information. Bring in your doctors certification as well as the card until they install a scanner for our cards. They will make you a pocket certificate to tape to the back of the card for future visits. Product is amazing at fairer prices than at fp.

I have been going to vireo Health on fuller Rd. in Abanyl for nearly a year and am so satisfied with everyone who works there. They dont rush you, and answer all your questions. My quality of life has improved so much due to what was prescribed for me. I am virtually pain free most of the day one hour after taking it.
Everything is great besides the .25g cartridges, complete waste of money. They say the coil can absorb 150mg out of the 250mg that’s in there, and boy does it. I got 3 small rips out of it and for $40 I’m never gonna be getting that again. I’ll stick to the syringes.
Talked to Bethany about the soft gels and she was so informative and so helpful in helping me understand and answering all of my questions. A delightful young lady, I thoroughly enjoyed the phone interaction we had. Thank you again Bethany!

Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful! Sometimes its a bit crowded, but calling in a refill ahead of time seems to work like a charm. Jen is super helpful! So is the person at the front desk, dont know his name. Highly recommend!

We cant say enough nice things about Vireo in Albany! They make every visit or question simple to do and understand. Ive been a customer since last September, and they are supportive, cheerful, and when I got the good news from my physician/surgeon that I was cancer free, I called the Vireo folks to tell them -- they were so excited! And they all mention it when I talk to them. I feel like it is a team effort here, keeping me healthy, and I am so happy to be part of the Vireo family. Bravo!
It’s a good dispensary, but the girl who is currently working the from and the pick up station is the real hero here. She works so hard and makes sure everyone is taken care of to the best of her ability. This woman deserves a raise! She is always incredibly busy, but still extremely attentive and customer service oriented. I have never minded waiting while she’s there because I know she’s working the hardest that she possibly can! As for refills, I suggest if you don’t want to wait, refill on a week day and make sure to submit it online! People complain about waiting more than a minute or two, but I always think I get done reasonably fast!
What wonderful customer service. My husband was having trouble ordering his medicine online. Called the Albany dispensary(03/04/19) and left a message. That day Victoria called and talked to my husband. Then she emailed me and explained everything that needed to be done. Victoria also left valid contact information which helped today(03/05/19) when my husband’s account was still not working correctly. Victoria stayed on the line and talked me through the ordering procedure. She even offered to create a special time for pickup if needed. She was a god send. Thank you Victoria for helping us. Your customer service should be the standard for everyone.
I love going to the Albany store. The staff is so wonderful and professional and the products are great with a great assortment at great prices. I could not function without them. Thank you so much for your service to those of us who suffer so much Thank you again.
Everyone there was very helpful. Im 2 1/2weeks in and Im feeling a lot better. Already cutting down on certain meds. That I no longer want in my body! With my main objective to cutting it all out.
I really like the staff. They are so kind and understanding with me. My only issue is that I cant afford the stuff. Its so expensive. I am out of oil, but I just cant afford the cost being on disability. So unfort, I cant go there for my oil anymore, time to get it another way. Very sad for me.

When I showed up they wouldnt even see me without an appointment even though there were no people there. The receptionist told me I would have to schedule an appointment as they were booked for the day. I explained that my normal Dispensary was closed today due to veterans day and that I was going out of town tomorrow on business and if its possible to see me today which she said said no. I waited to around to see how busy it was and about 2 people showed up in the course of a half hour and was in and out within 5 minutes. Im not sure about their product but Im disappointed that they wouldnt even see me and the place was empty with the excuse that they were booked and busy today.
Horrible place!!! Went to pick up two vials last week got home used the first one it stopped working, took my second one out used it once same thing. Drove back (45 min oneway) they would only replace one vial went home that damn vial didnt work it was like sucking air not happy I just want a refund at this point going back tomorrow I will keep you posted
Im very glad that Vireo has come of age. I prefer medical marijuana due to the fact that Im allergic to all opium drugs. Now I can get relief from pain issues. Vireos staff is always at their best and are will to help as much as they can. If you need an alternative to your chronic pain Vireo is the place to go!
Been here multiple times, the staff are friendly and have a good amount of professionalism. I have place orders online and in store, average wait time is about 10-15 minutes for a pickup ether way; i would guess due to customer flow and verifying the information on the order. While this isent a bad thing by any means it can be frustrating sometimes because its not always a simple run in and grab my med like a normal pharmacy; its just a simple manner of the hoops they have to work with in NY iam sure.I think the pricing is the only real gripe, its quite expensive for oil; BUT the cost is such that they can afford to operate in NYS, id love to say that its their fault but sadly its just the cost in order to make and sell in NY, if you dont like the prices then red tape needs to change to make it easier to cultivate and sell, but that likely wont happen until legalization.This dispensary seems to take a level headed approach, selling the bulk oil to people, while it can be costly ($130 for 1.0 ml) it is cheaper than buying from other locals and allows you to use your own vaporizer without concern. While on this note, i would love to know more about the Special discounts are offered to patients that require financial assistance, i asked at the Albany dispensary and they didnt have much to offer short of the obligatory 10% for vets and seniors (not a bad thing, just not what i was expecting).My last point is the hours, they kinda suck if I am being honest. Only having one office that I am reasonably able to drive to (under 2 hours away) in Albany that is only open 3 days a week kinda sucks. Even if it was 3 different days spread out across the week like a Monday, Thursday, Sunday; that way open days are more spread over the week? Just a thought. I am sure that they will get better based on the need and cost of opening, but it didnt appear to be an issue considering just about every time i go in there, there are at least 5-10 customers, but that is just what i see not whats going on behind the scenes.TLDR; Otherwise, this place is ALWAYS clean, it has a very professional appearance, the lady at the front counter is SUPER helpful, she seems like shes always finding another way to make the state card a bit better to manage, this past visit they laminated the cert and made it small to tape it to the card, so its an all in one card and cert combo (thumbs up!). Ive even had to bring my daughter in here to pickup my meds and i never felt out of place with her in here, which should paint the picture of how welcoming the environment is. Only grips as stated above, is price and hours which is the reason for the 4/5 stars.
Jen & Zach are rock stars they are so down to earth and fantastic along with the medical marijuana product. They are very helpful and know the products that are available. They are good people they answer any question I ask along with calling me back after I leave a message. If they dont know an answer to my question then they tell me who to talk to to get the right answer.

Ive been a patient of Vireo since Etain moved away. They’re great! They always have my medicine ready when I make my appointment online. NYS is at fault for making the prices expensive. They’re the ones that could help any further. If you need medicinal marijuana, this is the place to go

Do not be in a hurry when you go here. Even if you scheduled an appt. My first visit was over an hour. Next time i ordered online to be picked up. No delivery in albany yet. Got there 10 mins befor pick up time. Ended up waiting 45 mins just to pik up a refilll i ordered online. Not to mention they are only open 3 days a week. They are more expensive then thier competitor but thier vape peoducts are much stronger then the competition. Only reason i come here. Oh lets add crappy service. I was first one in the door. And they took third person to come in before anyone else. I guess they were special

I brought my girl friend there for an apt and NO WHERE on the website while booking apt and filling out intake forms did it State she needed to bro g any document from her provider only to bro g her card and cash, We drove over an hour with her in excruciating pain and left without her necessary medication, Im sure its a great place but whos at is in charge of the website should definitelyinclude that you .just bring paperwor6 from prescriber.

She educated me about medicinal marijuana and how to use it effectively. She was kind, empathic and changed my life. I feel that Jennifer truly cares about patients and is a kind person who understands about others. After meeting her for the first time, I switched from another dispensary. The staff at this dispensary are great. But unfortunately New York set this program up to fail along with the feds not legalizing marijuana. I cant afford 260.00 a month on ssd. So I remain in severe pain ALL THE TIME!!

2022-01-26I love the products they have because they always work for me. I love some of the staff it one person that I think can be a lil more professional. I always have to wait long even when I put my order in! I also got charged extra on my card as well! It was the same girl that should be professional. I hope they replace her I would love it even more.

2022-05-14In my opinion... The best store in Albany NY and its not only the highly respected employees that are always very helpful and friendly.... Lets start with their very involved need for info about yourself and it ultimately gives the store the capability to figure out what helps with your issues from anxiety to pain or whatever and... Well the Medicaid discount and or veteran discount is a big plus the discreet package for the products.... Just a plain paper bag. Now Im going to continue to Bragg about the discounts and before they are even applied to the bill there prices are already cheaper than most of the other leading stores but the simple but yet small dispensary and its in a odd location near the college in the plaza with the smoker choice and the frieghoffer bakery as well so after you leave you can buy a pipe to smoke what you purchased and stop by the bakery and grab some munchies and go home 🏡🤣😂... Very discreet sales and packaging keeping it safe and in more discreet package than any of the competition in dispensaries... Making Vireo Health The No.1 Store in Upstate NY...!!! 2021-06-11The staff here is amazing! They keep track of your previous purchases, so when you get something new they ask if youre familiar with the product(s). If youre not, theyll take the time to thoroughly explain usage and effects. The location is nondescript on the outside but very bright, clean, and welcoming inside.

2020-09-29Great selection and great staff! I had literally no idea what I was doing when I first started, and the Vireo Pharmacists, and staff were so helpful in guiding me through all of the different products and pros/cons of each. I really appreciate their kindness, education and guidance when I was confused & frustrated, or I felt something wasn’t working. Their follow-up, and friendly, sincere care, is outstanding. Highly recommend.

2021-06-10Vireo is a decent dispensary, the staff have always been helpful. However, the three stars reflect my opinion on the pricing our local dispensaries charge. So if I were to rate Vireo on Product quality, service, and knowledge they would be closer to 4.5-5 stars. But the overall experience has to include how I feel after I take out my wallet and that can be painful at the area dispensaries even Pharmacannis. So a solid three is all I can muster at this point. Maybe when recreational gets up and running more supply over demand will correct this and make it more bearable.

2021-02-12They are very thorough and care about their patients and customers. I felt very safe going to their facility in during COVID, especially since they are taking proper measures to ensure our safety. They also have you consult with the pharmacist for your first time and answer any questions about dosing and products they carry. Highly recommend!!!
