The vision people are nasty, rude, and completely incompetent. Just a few months after my first visit I asked for my prescription out of curiousity and they refused to give it to me because it was invalid, but really it was because they wanted me to buy their ugly overpriced glasses. When I went to make my check up appointment, it took almost three weeks which is absolutely ridiculous then when I showed up for the appointment today they treated me like an inconvenience. Never even got to see the doctor who I actually remember liking.
I had an amazing experience here! Everyone was so informative and helpful and my optometrist was great. I started recommending them to everyone. Thank you guys!
The service was good here. I received my prescription sunglasses in a timely fashion.

2021-04-07Recently took my son here (who is extremely picky) for a pair of glasses. Dr. Boyle was patient and kind and made sure he had the right prescription for his needs and the staff helped him find the perfect frame. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless and pleasant. We will be back! Thank you Dr. Boyle and staff!

2021-04-13I went in to have a temple reinstalled on my distance glasses. I brought a new screw for it. I was in the store for an extended length of time as the employees spent time discussing whatever and ignoring me. Finally, I was told the screw I gave them was stripped, it wasnt. Further, I was charged $10. When I said I did not have that amount of cash and wanted to use my charge card, they added .85 to the bill. They are thieves. My wife and I used them before, but never again. Most places would do the service for free.

2020-01-10Love Dr. Boyle! He is patient, kind and takes the time to listen to and answer your questions. Very friendly staff!! My glasses are perfect! Lenses are CRYSTAL clear. I had previously been going to another place in Bellmore for 12 years until the last 2 years everything was good. Their customer service and quality of lenses has gone down. Then when they could not get my glasses correct after 3 tries they said they could not help me and I should go somewhere else. So glad I came to Dr. Boyle and his staff!

2020-09-16I really love these guys! My annual check ups are always pleasant and they are always so accommodating, after receiving my new glasses and only having them for two weeks I accidentally broke one of the legs from my glasses I called them up and ask them if they would be able to repair my glasses they were more than happy to help me in my time of need and they fixed my glasses good as new you would never tell that I had broken them I will always come to this eye doctor him and his team are the best!

2019-10-12Ive been dealing with Vision People since 1984. They were nice at the time, but through the years they started to get rude, and very expensive. Two pair of glasses broke within a year of purchase. When I complained what had happen, the heavy set woman with glasses said, how long do you expect them to last.I bit my tongue and kept quiet. About 2 years ago I needed to purchase new lens, so I gave them my old gold frames to put the new ones in. Right away shes given me all kind of excuses, why I should purchase new ones. Well finally I got her to use my old frames. They charged me over $500.00 just reading and distance lens. They wont see me ever again, all the money I spent with them over the years, this is how they treat people. And I still say that they could have gotten me credit on the ones that broke.There nothing but a bunch of crooks to say away from.

2020-09-30AVOID AVOID AVOID. They make you get ugly overpriced glasses from them holding off your prescription in hostage. They refuse to cancel orders within 36 hour notice. They sell cheap $20 frames that they get $200 from insurance. They’re selling Nikes for $350 when it’s $150 everywhere. Management was super rude when I requested multiple times to cancel my order. AVOID.

2018-10-22Ive been a client for about 12 years now. Dr. Boyle is excellent, I actually look forward to my yearly exam with him. He takes the time to answer questions and is a super nice guy. They also price match online contact prices so you always feel like you are getting value.

2021-03-20Vision People are wonderful, the staff are excellent especially Debbie she was outstanding very kind, patient and helpful and didnt try to rip me off as some other places do with glasses and contacts. I highly recommend Vision people in Bellmore to anyone.

2019-08-10They were wonderful with my 12 year old daughter. They were patient and kind when showing her glasses. They knew we were going away and made a phone call to get my daughters glassses before our trip which was 2 days away. I highly recommend this place for glasses!!!

2013-07-24High prices, miserable selection covered by insurance, not friendly employees. Claimed glasses had 1 year warranty, then wouldnt honor when my child broke them, said only manufacturers defects are covered.What did they think I meant when I asked if they were covered if broken? Ended up spending hundreds of dollars out of pocket for a dated style with terrible lenses. At least the prescription was right.Go elsewhere.
