Very very poor customer attentiveness. I was simply stopping in to pick up glasses for my daughter. Apon arriving i could clearly see most of the staff were busy, already helping other customers. So I chose to sit & wait patiently, until someone looked like they were free. Big mistake on my part, in hindsight I should have made some kind of announcement to avoid being treated like we were invisible. I watched as two other customers walked in & were seen to immediately. It became very upsetting when, even after I stood up & went to the counter we were ignored yet again. The words ARE YOU BEING HELPED or even Im sorry youve been waiting were completely absent from anyones mouth. Even after getting their attention, there was no apologies & no compassion.
Sometimes you read these reviews and wonder if people have gone to the same place that youve been going to. I have been going to this place from many many years and I have never had a problem with either service or selection. I find my doctor to be wonderful pleasant and concerned.
I don’t know how to explain this place is the worst business I ever dealt with. And I don’t know what to say about this place is they all same. they are scamming people even with your insurance you end up paying more money. By the way, vision places the same as mechanics you have no idea what they’re doing and they could charge you anything they want.
I am the business owner and the hours above are incorrect. I have contacted google many times but they have not fixed the problem. We are opened Monday and Thursday 10:00-7:30. Tuesdayand Wednesday the hours are 10:00-5:30. Friday hours are 10:00-6:00. Saturday we are opened 9:30-4:30. We are colosed Sundays. Google Please fix this ASAP.
I HONESTLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS THIS PLACE HAS I HAVE BEEN GOING TO VISION WORLD FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS AND THE SERVICE THERE IS WONDERFUL ,THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS AND VERY CARING PEOPLE I HAVE BEEN WITNESS TO RUDE CUSTOMERS AND I AM JUST ASSUMING THOSE ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT HAVE SOME THING TO SAY. Utterly appalled! Extremely bad business practice. My mom, age 86, on social security went in and asked for a cheap pair of frames for her new glasses. All frames are handed to you (which I get, especially because of Covid) Today she came home with Michael Kors frames!. How dare you take advantage of a senior citizen. The only receipt given shows the total. No brand, no breakdown, etc for the $725 charge. She thought it was due to her progressive lenses and all. Are they nice? Sure, but did she want designer glasses? No. That’ll teach her to trust a business..

2022-06-04The main Doctor is fantastic and I have been seeing him since I was a child. Usually the front desk staff is great too, there’s a new woman working there and she has a horrible attitude, very poorly trained in customer service. Vision world has always taken care of my family and our eyes, unfortunately we will not be coming back nor recommending this establishment any further.

2020-08-01Horrible experience every time, won’t return. When you call they rush you off the phone, the young Hispanic woman had a horrible attitude, and was so rude, kept complaining because I was asking questions on the phone about my glasses and pickup times. When I went into the store she still had a attitude and was miserable because she had to answer the phone and attend to customers. The glasses technician had to come out & apologize for her. I would give 0 stars if I could and will not return! Look somewhere else for glasses! They overcharge & try to force you into having a eye exam as well. I would recommend looking into somewhere else then here.

2021-01-03Third or fourth year going here and have been very happy. Staff is knowledgeable about my insurance and what is allowed. I wish the stock was bigger but I think my insurance makes the choices smaller.

2021-01-03I’ve been coming here for years. I usually have good experiences here but I haven’t been there in several months due to covid. I go in there today and the younger short hispanic woman (who i’ve never seen before) gave me a horrible attitude the second i stepped foot in there. She truly lacks customer service skills and this is coming from someone whose job is revolved around customer service. Very disappointing

2016-02-08I dont usually waste my time on reviewing service unless its necessary and i get so unsatisfied and unhappy. I am the most patient client you can find but this is frustrating . This establishment has the worst after-service there is. My sons eyeglasses frame needs to be replaced. Its under 1 year warranty, as what they say. Its been almost 3 months now and made 4 times phone calls, all i get is... we will contact you as soon as we know what happened to this transaction. Really? Everytime i called, nobody knows the update of my case?. Oh yeah, one time, somebody finally knew whats going on but she rudely answered me, it will take time for the frame to be reordered. So I guess i will have to wait for my 1 year warranty. Dont waste your money and time. I hope the management would have the idea how theyre losing customers because of poor service. They just lost 5 customers, thats my family!

2018-05-14Disgusting displays of disrespect and total disregard by the staff. I have never experienced such terrible customer service especially from management. After spending $800 in this poor excuse for a vision care provider I now realize I was lied to and robbed. Exams are designed to upsell products and are ethically questionable. A BBB report and small claims court filing will follow. If I could give zero stars I would.

2017-05-17Prices are very high here. Simple single Vision lenses in no name basic frames shouldnt cost you more than $50. Youre lucky if you can get something under $200 here. There are other places with a better value and selection. Service was fine.

2016-09-09I saw a number of negative reviews of Vision World, specifically mentioning run ins with employees. This summer I was visiting family on Long Island when I unexpectedly lost my glasses and needed a replacement pair immediately in order to drive back home. I was on COBRA vision coverage and my insurance was completely uncooperative with me in my attempts to find out the status of my coverage. All the four employees I interacted with at Vision World were kind, accommodating, and flexible. They got me a decent looking, affordable pair of glasses during a stressful time, and I would definitely recommend their services.
