Celebrated my moms birthday here yesterday. Had a section dedicated just to us. Cant say enough about how happy we are with the location, service and food. The view if the city is amazing! We were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was and the service was wonderful. Of course none of this would be possible without the help of event coordinator Mike Bekker. My birthday is coming up shortly and I am already making plans to celebrate it here. I highly recommend this venue for a special occasion!
We hosted our holiday party at Vista this year and it was magnificent! The food was amazing and bountiful (we opted for cocktail style hors d oeuvres and a mini-buffet). The drinks were great! Laura and MDs service was outstanding and very professional. We will definitely be hosting our next event at Vista!
I came to my friends party at the Vista Sky Lounge rooftop for a private party. Im used to going out in the city so didnt know what to expect, but I have to say I was very impressed.This place has some insane views and its not packed like other venues Ive been to so def worth checking out. The food was good - I bought an appetizer and a drink and it cost me under $20. The music was on point and the bartender (cant remember her name) made the most incredible gin martini! Ask for Mike, the events coordinator, he rocks!
I dont usually write reviews, but I attended a co-workers wedding in March and was very impressed with service and food. Cocktail hour on the rooftop had incredible hors de oeuvres, good variety of drinks. Ballroom has amazing views of the empire state building like I have never seen. Highly recommend.
Attended a party. The view is great. You can see the city skyline at night. The food is good. They were able to make last minute special changes to the menu for our kids. Would go back.
The place is very nice and the food really good but the DJ sucked, we came for our party and music was outdated and not dancing music!
I attended a corporate event in November. Staff was great, food was good and the views of the city were amazing. Overall a great time, I would recommend this space to others.

Visited this place for a wedding. The place was nice, elegant and neat. However, their brunch food was not as impressive as the venue itself

2021-05-29(Wedding May 2021)THEY ARE AMAZING and YES THE BEST EVER!! I cant thank them enough!! shout out to MIKE, BILL and PATRICK. They are easy to work with and accommodate our requests. They are very patient with us and really attend to our needs. They are the type of people that really love what the do, they really want to help you and please you and they are really passionate about their work.The Venue: from the rooftop to the penthouse, it is amazing, Manhattan skyline! we fell in love with the place the first time we saw it! need I say more?The Food: there are lots of choices! guests loved it! from appetizers to desserts! yummy!The Staff: as I said I cant them enough! MIKE and BILL, a million thanks! from planning to the day itself youve been hands on, from small things such as linen colors, to endless emails and texts (thanks Mike), to having us tour the place more than twice to make sure we get it right, to letting us putting our stuff the night before and letting us set-up (thanks Patrick), to putting my wedding bouquet in the kitchen refrigerator, to bringing us food in the Bridal suit because we cant make it to Cocktail hour, to bringing us food on our table during the wedding day so we dont need to stand up and go to the buffet, to having us some food to go, to checking up on us every time if we need something (we really appreciate you Bill).May God bless you all!! 2021-10-06We had booked this location for our wedding that was supposed to take place this past July, that ended up not happening. We were in love with the venue and so excited to be married there. I was understanding throughout the pandemic, there was gaps in communication and broken promises. I was patient thinking things were going to work out and they did not. We were never contacted for anything, a tasting, our room block etc. The few times I reached out I was assured things were going to work out then after a few phone call attempts I found out my contact was no longer working there. I eventually said okay maybe lets plan for a date in the future. Then we were called the week before our “wedding” by the new hire, he said “so are you getting married next week?” He was extremely rude, lacked compassion or any sort of customer service. I replied that since we had never had our tasting, or gone over any details we were not having our wedding the next week. This completely ruined the experience for us and I am disappointed I ever gave them our money. Seeing as they refused to give any back.Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. I’ve been a maid of honor several times and no other venues I have ever attended would EVER treat clients this way.

2017-02-05One of the best views of the city from queen side. They have an excellent bar food options are not that great. I havent tried the brunch. I was there on a very cold night they will give you blankets and the bar area is heated. This is hidden place in long Island city.

2021-05-30Just had my wedding there Saturday may 29 2021 and it was beyond amazing. The staff is amazing especially Mike bekker and Bill Kennedy they were so attentive and wonderful in helping us prepare for our special day. Highly recommend this space for any type of event. Great people and an amazing view of Manhattan. Thank you to all the staff that made our special day so beautiful

2019-11-04I had my wedding here October 2019 and it was delightful!! Bill, the sales manager, was outstanding and organized the vendors, decorations and even the settling of family members in hotel rooms at a discounted rate. The venue has the cityscape backdrop and our guests got wonderful photos. The staff were attentive and really helped the whole evening to go very well. The food was great and the guests also raved about how tasty it was. I would recommend this venue for weddings and events. The team is superb!!

2018-10-09What an amazing experience we had with vista ballroom. Mike our coordinator helped us throughout our process. He was great made all of our requests come to life. MD was our host for the day of. He made sure the day ran smoothly. Staff was friendly and on top of everything. The food was amazing. The view was spectacular. Me and my husband are so happy with everything and do not have one bad thing to say. All of our guest had a great time. Thanks you Mike and MD for making our day so perfect!

2015-04-24I recently arranged a surprise birthday party for a friend in the ballroom - huge success. I cant properly express what a pleasure it was to work with the catering staff to put this together and how happy I am with the result. They were attentive to every detail, put up with my many calls and emails, and even arranged a few last minute changes. The staff were friendly and the food was great. Highly recommend.
