One word - YUM! Wafers & Dinges is a must when you are in NYC. There are a few throughout the city and identifiable by the bright yellow trucks. My favorite is located at the opening of Central Park. The Belgian waffles are perfect - not too big and tasty and the topping options are perfectly matched. I go for the banana and dulce de leche which is awesome. The folks running the food trucks are incredibly nice and patient when a customer isn’t sure what to get. Quick service too for a fresh waffle! Take your snack and go explore Central Park. Pro tip: don’t forget plenty of napkins - you are definitely going to need them.
After shopping at macys - saw truck w/ waffles + coffee. OMG wafel is BEST THING ive ever had (churro wafel) and even coffee was fantastic- took it home (coffee to go, usually trash). TRY the TRUCK, its a super delicious treat, many variations and staff is great! (and read reviews!)
Delicious, fresh Waffle desserts at a great location in Herald Square. The WMD was really yummy with the Waffle topped with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, with chocolate drizzle. You can enjoy your treat under nearby umbrella tables or at tables in the Square. I have been a returning customer for years.
This location has horrible customer service. The attendant blatantly lied about the ingredients for their hot chocolate. She said it was made with milk, not water. When I tasted it I could tell it was made with water, so I brought it to her attention. She then admitted that they added water to it. I told her I didn’t like it and asked her to exchange it for one of their waffles. Her response was “No, sorry, if you don’t like it you can contact the company”.
Customer service stinks! Too busy socializing with her friends and laughing at the customers. We noticed she only had one glove on. When we brought it to her attention, she took another cone but still with her bare hands; and made a mess of the ice cream. We decided to leave; definitely not worth getting sick from her dirty hands. Not a great experience to say the least!

2021-07-12Stopped here passing through Bryant Park and just had to order one of these waffles. We split it. We ordered the Throwdown Waffle and when it was presented, it was warm and crunchy with cookie crunch crumbles, cinnamon and whipped cream to top it off. Light. It was great! Delicious treat.

2018-05-28Pricy but delicious, and its definitely the best option of the (often over-priced) food carts in the area. I had a double stack throwdown and savored every last bite.

2019-11-08One of the best things I have ever eaten in my life was this wafel. I only got maple syrup on top. My husband got candied bacon and bourbon on top and he loved his just as much as I loved mine. Were so glad we found out that they sell some products online and deliver our of state!! (We live in NH, and not near any locations!) We definitely will purchase some online soon !
